This is Alex from unwrap sports here to break down NFL Week 10 1st off, we have Detroit Lions going off to visit the Chicago Bears.
Bears put off this victory, 2013.
Last minute scratch from Matthew Stafford, who has fractured bones in his back, really put a damper on the Lions chances.
Bear Stevens had been struggling for some weeks, but to go against a backup was the best situation for a bounce back game.
Travis Key had an encouraging day with three touchdowns.
Games like these Air, where you are good to try to ease True Biscuit moving forward. As he says.
All the TVs are turned off in the in the practice area.
You know he doesn't have anything kind of going on.
Just cause of all the constant criticism.
Montgomery ran for 60 yards for a running game that struggled to get things going early.
You know, he wasn't really running the ball.
I think in this situation for the Bears, they really need to focus on getting David Montgomery more involved.
It's it's one of those situations where Travis he's struggling.
David Montgomery is the key to get the offense moving He is a talented running back.
I think he has, ah, lot more potential than what he's putting forth.
He definitely has the ability to make plays and make things happen.
He very much reminds me of sake Warm Barclay and the way that they have that dessert.
I'm gonna get through you no matter what kind of mentality when it comes to running the ball, Something I would definitely look, I'm looking forward to seeing.
Next game we have is the Baltimore to me.
Yeah, the Baltimore Ravens at the Cincinnati Bengals Ravens just handled the Bangles, 49 13.
This matchup look to be won.
The Ravenswood dominate and Ravens did not disappoint, but Mark Jackson put on a show with 15 and 17 for 220 from our decision and really was able to move well when running the ball.
Jackson has become one of the NFL's most dynamic quarterbacks who compete you through the air or ground Ravens, took an early lead and never look back.
Peter's returned another interception for a touchdown as his addition to the defense was the boost they needed for the second half of the season.
Bangles turned the offense to Finley as he struggled in his first start, mixing out over 100 yards rushing at the lone bright spot in this offense, Bangles are still without a J.
Green, who looks to have suffered another setback in his return.
Then we have the Buffalo Bills at the Cleveland Browns.
Brown's got that victory, 1916.
Browns have been struggling with high expectations from the off season, but we're able to do just enough to get this victory.
May feel played well and did not turn the ball over 238 yards, two touchdowns.
Odell Beckham Jr had five receptions for 57 yards, but was not able to have his trademark take over a game.
Trump around the ball well for 100 16 yards rushing, and Hunt got a few carries for 30 yards as well.
This game was a positive note for an offense that you know has a lot of potential but has failed to really live up to it in the capability of you know what, their weapons aren't what they're producing on the field.
Josh, Alan and the offense weren't able to get much going.
He often seemed to fizzle out rather quickly as a running game was not given ample opportunity to get going with single Terrian.
Gore Bill should have been able to gas his defense but were not able to as their carries were limited, a surprising loss for a team that had played exceptionally well before this.
With running backs like Frank or and Devon Singletary, the Bills do need to kind of focus on the run a bit more.
I know that this game got a little bit out of hand, and it kind of turned into a bit of a throwing match more than I think the Bills were hoping to kind of go with.
But this is where you got to trust some of your assets.
You have Singletary.
You have, you know, Gore.
You too good running backs that can really get things going on offense.
And they were running the ball well.
It was just very peculiar.
See, there their production go down as it did next, we have the Atlanta Falcons at the New Orleans Saints.
Falcons put a put up a surprising victory 26 to 9 Falcons came off the bye week hot as they stunned the Saints.
Matt Ryan's return action was a good start with 100 82 yards and two touchdowns, one interception, not numbers that jump out at you but encouraging to see he moved around well with his ankle.
Saints office never got going, as Kamara and Murray combined for nine carries for 36 yards.
My Thomas had himself a game with 13 receptions for 152 yards, but other than that, the offense was kept in check.
This was a major confidence boost for a Falcon.
Seen that is on the outside.
Looking in to the playoffs for the Saints is was just an off game that nothing seemed to know.
This is a game that I wouldn't really be concerned about.
Uh, everybody has.
All teams have bad games.
Nothing, I would say would be to throw red flag up a za concern.
Next, we have the New York Giants at the New York Jets.
Jets got this victory 34 27.
Jets got a huge victory for their season as they hold off the Giants Donald of avoiding throwing interceptions and kept his team in the game.
Jamal Adams made an impressive strip in score touchdown that ultimately helped seal this victory.
Daniel Jones had a game with four pass touchdowns, but he put the ball on the ground three times with the defense, picking it up on one of them, which was the Jamal Adam's grab and run a play for a touchdown.
Giants continue to be a team that shows promise, but then shows you an experience.
Daniel Jones has been able to get a lot going with his ability to throw and make plays, but he does kind of hold the ball loose.
You know, he's been.
I believe he has the most fumbles from this from the amount of games he's played in, which is very alarming.
As you know, that's a major part of his ball.
Security is, you know, being able to not be stripped so easy.
Like the way Adam stripped him on this one.
But you know, this often shows that they, too, have potential.
But, you know, unfortunately for them, it was, Ah, definitely a game where Dana Jones kind of didn't help his cause.
Jets, on the other hand, really needed this victory to snap consecutive tough losses.
This team is a lot better than what they've been performing.
They've definitely been underperforming.
Sam Darnold, you know, played very well against Cowboys and then just struggled after that.
I think this team needs to really, you know, kind of get back to the basics, kind of just go with the small dip and dive kind of game plan.
Get Donald comfortable.
Belson touches Crowder some touches, you know, try to extend the defense by, you know, going toe Anderson.
This team has, you know, the parts to to be a good team.
It's just, you know, they, you know, have not been able to, um, to actually to fully, you know, get on track with their offense.
Next, we have the Arizona Cardinals at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Buccaneers got this victory 30 to 27 Winston through all over the Cardinals defense but also at them as he had two interceptions.
Winston, it's just too careless with the ball.
Victories like this are what will still draw fire from management.
With this being the constant for years, questions, questions they're going to continue to rise of.
Watson will still be titled.
Is a franchise quarterback moving forward? I know he got benched last year for Fitzpatrick.
So it's something to kind of keep a look out and see if you know the Buccaneers are going to start getting a lot more interested in the building through the draft again or trying to trade for a marquee free agent marquee player like Cam Newton or Andy Dalton.
Buccaneers running game did struggle in this game, which was very concerning, as they yet to kind of have a running back pull off a couple consistent games.
Calamari played well 324 yards through the air, three touchdowns, but a late interception killed their chances.
Murray has really began to mess with Kirk.
All of his touchdowns went to him and 138 yards of his passing game.
It's very encouraging for Kirk, as you know he's gonna continue to gain chemistry with Murray.
He looks to be the receiver that's gonna grow with him through his nose the next 23 key years of his progression.
And, you know, I definitely think he's called himself a number one spot if he hasn't already kind of earned that right With his production the last couple of weeks, the Cardinalsoffense has shown flash the potential to be great, but it's still just too inconsistent.
And that's why you know they lose tough, close games like this one.
Next, we have the Kansas City Chiefs at the Tennessee Titans.
Titans pull off the upset victory, 35 25 took 35 32.
Mahomes makes his return from what looked to be an injury that would silom him for the majority of season.
Mahomes posted up quite the stat line with 446 yards and three touchdowns.
He was able to move around well, but you could tell that he was avoiding running are tryingto force the issue like he would when he was completely healthy.
Tyree killing Kelsey.
Each got a touchdown.
******* went for 157 yards, receiving asthma homes Returns to returns.
The defense falters yet again as they allow a really Titans offense to play well.
Henry had himself a day with 188 yards rushing and two touchdowns on the ground, but the play that really solidified this victory was Tannehill running it in for two.
This really fired up the team late in the game and showed a statement as why he believes you should continue to be the guy a quarterback.
This game was very wild if he actually watched it.
It was a lot of miscues.
Cues on special teams on the two but protected kicks.
First was a botched told as the holder Deep Under was not ready, and second it was blocked.
Chiefs are now within striking distance are now within striking distance of the Oakland Raiders, who have, you know, had a vastly improved offensive squad, and their defense is, you know, started to play a lot better.
So it's becoming a now a two team race in the A F C West.
And, you know, surprising as you know, I would have definitely tapped.
The Chargers is a team that would have pushed the issue with the Chiefs.
But Raiders look to have a nice, solid group of receivers and tight ends that make that offense very special and enabled to, you know, Gash offense.
Defense is the way they have the past couple of weeks for the Titans.
It gets them back to 500 it gives them something to build off of.
Tannehill's shown a lot better production through the air then Marcus Mariota did.
And Derrick Henry has, you know, shown the 200 yard game he had at the end of the year was not a fluke, but more of him finally getting together and really getting himself and understanding the pace of the game and really, you know, hitting the right hole.
Next, we have the Miami Dolphins at the Indianapolis Colts.
Dolphins got a surprise victory here, 16 to 12 and the Dolphins are on a two game winning streak.
I repeat, the Dolphins are on a two game winning streak.
Cole's had a sloppy game.
Oi! Under center had three interceptions.
Dolphins took advantage early and often and seemed to be in control of this game.
From the get go, Fitzpatrick made enough place through the air with his receiving corpse and kept 31 minutes of possession.
Dolphins look to be favoring things out as a cold stop a second straight tough loss.
The healthy percent in Hilton will be something to keep an eye on.
As he looked to snap this losing streak, Devon Funches just got activated, so that's another weapon they have.
Campbell Relieve is going to be out till about December T y Hilton looks like he's not gonna be playing this week.
Percent looks to be coming back.
I think that's gonna be major percent.
Is a great quarterback. He definitely takes care of the ball.
He really works within this offenses frame and really does a good job of, you know, getting the most out of this unit.
So I think their offense, you know, So the team should look more per usual as it did before.
I just think this was just the case of, you know, having a back of being in the backup.
Just got a little bit of his lucky A CZ luck tested and did not go their way.
Next, we have the Carolina Panthers at the Green Bay Packers Packers Got that victory, 24 16.
It was the Aaron Jones show again as he scored all three touchdown for the factors with 93 yards through the ground, Davante Adams look good with 100 18 years receiving on seven receptions.
That was something to keep an eye and I know he had been struggling with that turf toe.
Definitely affected himto miss a couple of key games for the Packers.
It is very concerning for the Packers that no receiver tight and had really stepped up in his absence.
As vowed a scad ling Alison Graham.
No one really took hold of that number one option spot.
It kind of, you know, it was Aaron Jones, but you do need to have someone besides your running back, which is funny.
I'm saying this in this game when for the Panthers, McCaffrey is basically a majority of their, if not more like 90% of their offense, and I'm just exaggerating.
But, you know, we all know that it's the McCaffrey show for the Carolina Panthers.
No McCaffrey got stuffed in this game in the end zone.
It was one of those moments for the Panthers, where it's like, you know, you can always just, you know, depend on McCaffrey.
Oak Island is a a serviceable quarterback.
I wouldn't know I wouldn't say good or great yet just because, you know, it's been a small sample size, and he has been in a blessed situation to have Christian McCaffrey, who is such a dynamic playmaker.
But you know, Alan did play well in this game, got Olson, Olson and Maur involved, Which is, you know, like I was saying, It's been the McCaffrey show, you know, not to say that more Samuel, you know, didn't get involved in their own facets of the game.
But, you know, getting the aerial attack going well, just make my cavity that much more dangerous.
As you know, they won't be able to just commit to him next.
We have the Los Angeles Rams at the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Steelers got a tough victory here, 17 12.
The Steel Curtain looks to have risen yet again in Pittsburgh.
I'm getting a bit ahead of myself, but as a Steelers fan, I am very biased.
So it is encouraging to see the defense playing such a prominent role in these victories to very Steeler football smash mouth, you know, ground and pound.
You know, they didn't have James Connor.
Samuels and Edmund didn't have the best of rushing attacks.
But this defense has made such a difference.
You know, the the acquisition of Meghan Fitzpatrick seems to have really revitalizes defensive unit, you know, But to Pre and TJ what? We're just consistently in Goss phase, you know, constantly had him under pressure for some of the three turnovers, one of which was a touchdown on the offensive side of offered Steelers.
Mason Rudolph continues to have a lot of an actress is through the air.
That is to be expected.
I think the pace of the game is very much affecting him.
He does kind of Lagaan making decisions and that, you know, is seen on tape where he'll take too long to get the ball to receiver, where at the moment he was open.
But because he didn't throw it at that second, you know, he didn't recognize that he wasn't comfortable in knowing where the receiver was.
It's an incompletion, Aurea, uh, ball that could have been intercepted for the Rams.
You know, Girlie ran the ball well, averaging six yards a carry, but I think the way that the game shifted, it made the Rams kind of focused through the air.
One thing I didn't want to point out is that Cooper Couples held two without a reception.
That is an impressive feat with just what he's been able to do this season.
Cooper Cup is such a dynamic playmaker.
He was definitely missed when the Rams were on their Super Bowl run this past year and definitely, you know, could have had a bigger fight against the Patriots.
But, you know, to be able to hold him without any receptions, you know, combination of Hayden Minka and multiple guys, you know, closing in and doing what they could.
Thio, you know, prevent Cooper Cup from, you know, getting any touches was was very, very impressive.
And it looks to be like, This is the game where James Washington turns the page on what had looked to be a very disappointing two seasons.
He had six receptions, 90 yards and a touchdown couple weeks before.
He was doing great jobs, getting blocks very impressive.
It shows a lot of moxie and him a lot of determination because, you know, he definitely had a lot of pressure on him because of, you know, the way that Ben Roethlisberger had said that, you know, he wasn't, you know, he missed a lot of plays and got bench near the end of the season.
Talent, the three and four receiver sets.
But it's so encouraging to see that, especially with Deante Johnson and juju kept in check.
You know, it was very impressive to see him, you know, get going with his old college teammate, Mason Rudolph.
This defense back to it has really become a turnover machine and doesn't like to stop Steelers on a four game winning streak and have reached the soft part of their schedule, which may bode well for a playoff run as they currently hold the number six seed in the playoffs.
Rams, on the other hand, are on the outside looking in and have quite the schedule moving forward.
They look too kind of the done as the Seahawks and the 40 Niners seemed to be at the top of the conference and at the top of their division, and it looks very unlikely for them to make the playoffs with their current status.
That is it for my NFL Week 10 ****ysis.
I will be back in less than a minute back on my page to go over my NFL Week 11 picks hope to see you guys that have been watching back on it.
I will be back shortly.
