Yeah, doesn't name is Richard.
Kahlan? Richard? I do.
Because it just makes them slightly cringe ever so slightly.
I mean, It's your name.
Your ski friend of the show.
He's in the house and he's ready to talk about baseball.
Asai so really pushing it.
I had left it in there.
I left it in there from last time.
We're also gonna dig into them cheating Astros because we have to, uh, take a look at the trade market because I don't think we've really done too much of that.
And that will be featuring my new friend, the guy I met, that one time MLB Network's Chris Rose.
And if we have the time, which I'm pretty sure we will people on the stream side, we'll see this fine gentleman on the desk.
We gotta give our one last superfluous push for the Dodgers.
That air going first awards this week is obviously we can view everything we can, but it's not gonna make a difference.
I thought my vote matters.

Let us know what you think about the what we're calling it Gate Behnke Astros Gate.
What I Rick, before we get into Thio catching up with you because we got to do that at least for a minute.
What is the official name for this in your heart? You're welcome.
I'm gonna spot for this.
Yeah, I don't know.
What are my options? No, you're coming up with some pretend you're clever trash cans rooms or some like that.
Put him on the spot.
Had, like a I don't think we had a gun to him.
Also, the side, uh, petrified One on periscope.
Wants to know why you have Joe Davis's kids at your house.
He's talking about Rick.
I was at Joe's House hanging out with those kids sounds doesn't sound much better, but it was fun.
It sounds a lot better than why do you have those kids at your house? It sounds like you're keeping them.
No, I'm not like, but they're there by their own free will.
Let's be frank processes two years late, Gate.
Two years later, he did.
I didn't see that one. I left him.
I I voted trash can gate.
I was I was going with bang Gate.
I guess they're banging the Cannes or Bang Bang Gate.
Whatever Lola, they have They have a little pool going up themselves on was the name it.
You go check them out as ah, let's be frank pod on Twitter because they they have ah, pull going on.
And there's a couple good ones in there and go check out that little pole.
As you said, a little pull. No underscore.
Frito says We knew the Astros were during We just know I didn't know this dirty up.
I mean, I think most people industry kind of had a good feeling they were this dirty.
Um, You talk to any of the Dodgers? They probably already knew about that.
Funny enough as we we kind of are getting a little ahead of ourselves.
We wanted a catch up with one another way. I'll have a way of ahead.
You here for quite some time? You know what? Screw that before we get into the Astro Gate here.
Where have you been, Mr? I don't know.
I have anybody back.
I mean, that's no, I mean, I think we're just gonna walk back, just like walking in there.
Sometimes you have a recording.
I'm like, I'm like, mystery probably needed it.
Except I don't really love that.
So, yeah, he's not a fan of the pop.
Nobody's really offended the pop in, but it's a Seinfeld episode.
Is it? Yes, but the the MLB is popping into the Astros business right now.
Brooke, don't you tell everybody about what's going on. Mr. Me three.
What are we talking about? The astros now back on the astro? Yeah, I was reading about the James Brown was in the house.
The James Brown.
I'm sorry to report.
Amanda is not here, so you cannot stock her.
So if you guys aren't caught up in the latest in baseball news because baseball season's over and we're all very sad about that except Rick because college basketball's here, right? Oh, yeah.
Yeah, it is down with Kentucky.
Uh, the Astros basically had ah had a former picture come out and basically say that they cheated during the 2017 championship season, which, of course, is the season that doctor's lost in seven games.
And my heart was broken forever.
And I've never been happy since then, and probably before then, honestly, but let's be honest.
It hurt real bad, appropriate.
It was nice time that it basically what they were doing was making loud noises and sounds like Elektronik Lee.
They were cheating.
They were you, which is against the rules.
That is the sign stealing in the game is not against the rules.
I want to clarify that we have we have had we had a guy who was very good at stealing signs in the past, and he is now a, you know, still works with team, but different. Yeah.
So, science feelings, not illegal guys.
Elektronik Lee it is.
Who is? Was it the Yankees that were at the Got caught with Apple watches a couple years ago? Uh, who was the Red Sox? Right? ***.
I wasn't thinking it was one of those Eastern teams that we don't like lambs.
You remember that when they had the apple watch is that they don't even know if they think that they were cheating.
And Alex Cora? It might have been helpless that Alex Cora, who was an employee of the Astros, as our producer, pointed out earlier today scandal, he You know what? The Applegate The Astro doesn't fall far from the tree.
And I don't know what's this terrible.
You know, you're making me try too hard right now.
I need a liquor up.
I mean, that was basically it really know where to go with it.
But the athletic, who athletic is a very reputable media source, and so they release their full on firsthand knowledge.
Tell all I don't even know you Call it report accounts, recollections of incidents were the Astros, where they're winning.
And there was one very, very, very clear instance.
And we actually had John Boy our boy job, Twitter fame and instagram fame and Internet fame break down the video with It was Danny FARC FARC work.
He was also the one who got hit in the head by a line.
Or had you had a brain? Yeah, it's an entirely different thing, and I just wanted to make sure we're all on the same page with the same guy.
Um, and you can definitely hear it getting the video very clearly.
And it is interesting how you can see him catch it and realize what's happening, and you can see him say their doings.
And then, yeah, I don't know what video John boy has access to because I think he's really good at audio isolation.
Someone like the like ejections and stuff that he catches some of the audio.
I'm like, There's no way there's not, I don't know, like what he does or what he has access to resemble Do that, but I know that I saw a video someone else linked of the actual, like three, our game on MLB on YouTube where I couldn't pick out here.
Yeah, but then when he didn't know that he has, he has the raw field, Mike.
And I don't know how he gets access to that or who gives him access, but I wanted Well, isn't there an option on, like at bat? But the other thing, you know, the other thing where you could pay to watch him will be games.
As long as you're not a doctor fan living in l. A.
And you're able, Thio, think you're able to get just field noise or something like that? Where if you want to turn somebody like Joe Buck, like many people do you would have used to do that in the end. Will be to K.
You could turn off downstairs.
Oh, so I mean, wow.
It's somewhere in the same somewhere.
Vasgersian is Is it was investor.
So, of course, this has been, uh this has been a day for media and for news and just all the B s coming out with this immediately after.
You know, Kenny Rosenthal on all of them.
Posted that on the athletic e.
I think that the Astros took the Twitter or they sent out Ah, release to them or where the hell it went.
And they're saying, Oh, we're investigating this thing that you're blaming us for now that we totally did.
It was it was pretty sad the way they the permit.
So **** you caught us its way.
It really felt like it.
And they're cooperating with the investigation or something like that.
I do love Mike fires even more than it after all of this, you know, it's like he got his ring.
But he's also like, if these guys, because if those guys, I think, um, I know if it's one of our more favorite things But it's another one of the funny side bars of this whole thing is is you Darvish responding debt.
And immediately all the people are like, Oh, maybe Darvish wasn't the problem.
He's like these for a minute.
There he was responding to everybody like, No, I was telling me how scraps and no, I said, yeah, even responded us with, I think verbatim No, I saw there was something like that is pretty good.
It was pretty golden quality content.
It actually made me like you Darvish a lot more.
I already did like him, but that was good where he's like everyone like they were cheating.
Maybe Yu Darvish isn't that bad, and he's like, No, it was pretty bad like that cheating.
But yeah, that was me. 100%.
It's on me, guys, he said.
Some quality offseason experiences.
That's really killing it lately.
I mean, maybe it's the cynic in me, but I feel like there's gonna be an investigation by Major League Baseball investigation by the Astros.
They're probably not gonna find the whole thing is gonna happen.
Nothing's gonna happen. Nothing's gonna change.
Fans will be passed on what kind of move on at some point.
But as I told you guys before, the two winners for me in this, our Mike fires new Darvish Yu Darvish was already funny on Twitter.
I don't think it is.
Many people knew about it and this is like has come up, I guess in that sense.
But it held it well because lesser people would have been like, Oh yeah, that's it.
That's why I got rocked the game.
But I wasn't good.
That's why there.
But he's just like you know, I wasn't very good.
Whether that happens or not, it's still my responsibility.
I still lost the game. Whatever.
He's making a joke of it, which is all you can ask for from an athlete.
Hires risk his professional and you know how much longer he has left his career.
But after the game, Bye bye, Coming out like that and I just like the way you went about it wasn't like, Oh, I just want to be The guy is I wanna warn the younger guys who, you know, this may be their only chance and this is happening, so they know better.
So I thought he risked a lot.
And to tell the truth like that, it was pretty admirable.
And he was the only guy who was willing to go on record, which I thought was pretty cool.
Yeah, even all the I mean there, I think the way it was kind of word or two written up.
I mean, there are a number of people in the organization right now that Air Anonymous when it was the blowers in the way.
But, you know, we have the question here.
Do you think said the Joker asked, Do do you think MLB will actually do anything about this? What do you guys think? Is anything really gonna come out of this outside of a you know, a hand slap, I think.
What you were saying? It it just makes sense.
Like there's gonna be an investigation.
Something's gonna Some people were gonna maybe getting a little bit trouble, maybe like some lower level guys.
But ultimately, I don't think anything's gonna I could see, like, a suspension or a fine or something.
Like I think about, you know, if you guys watch succession.
Never heard of her Great showing each But you guys gotta watch.
But like, big scandal happens at this major company and immediately look for, like, who could be our scapegoat.
So I'm sure there's some lower level like, OK, this guy was involved with it.
He's going to get fired or whatever.
Like this guy's suspensions.
A result, and then we'll just move on.
Okay, enough with this.
Somebody paid the price and move on.
I feel like that's going somewhere.
They're like, Why did we fire? Didn't we wait for that woman? And that person's gonna get really fat paycheck to say, Hey, you're gonna take the fall for this.
But here is six figure paycheck to say thanks for everything.
If you are listening, I'm willing, you know, absolutely.
One of the heck I can take the fall that way.
Have a price, man.
I don't have much of a price.
It is interesting, Though.
The Astros have not tweeted anything at all today, not one wing and have not like anything, they have not been active.
It would not be in their best interest to respond to it.
They basically hit up the social media person, and they really don't post anything.
He was like tight.
Today there's Yeah, here's a paid day off their CEO Chief.
Here's a 100 paid days off.
You're taking the blame for this? Yeah, the social media person was out there with their iPhone, and I watch is what? Uh, that's how it goes.
So tells you Apple products are bad and I've been right the whole time.
The other narrative.
We've seen a lot with this, and it's really ****ed off a lot of people on the Internet.
But do you? You don't even If you do take away this this title or put the asterisk on it doesn't mean anything.
Everybody already has that joy already have that pleasure of Hey, we want it, f y'all.
It doesn't matter what anybody thinks, but, you know, they're saying like the people asking or even a poll that we ran on on our d N Twitter just to see what people's feel of it is, is Do you take that title back and is like, I don't know, It was posthumously awarded to the Dodgers or whatever, but they did say, Take it back, Take it back, Take it back.
Nothing like that's gonna happen.
Of course, it's probably not even an asterisk again.
Doesn't make somebody's gonna take that fall.
Um, and that's cool.
That's totally cool.
But it's not equate to wanna know what year was.
But the Rams Patriot Super Bowl, where they were filming practices right with the Patriots, where it's like OK, they got, they got slapped on the wrist.
They got, I think, some draft picks taken away, and to this day, Patriots fans still think they got a raw deal on that, Even though I mean, I don't know enough about the facts, but regardless they still get the Super Bowl.
Nothing was taken away, Some fans looking it within Asterix.
So I feel like that's gonna be what happens on this is Dodger.
Fans will say, Hey, you guys screwed us out of this But I'm like I was telling you guys, I'm not a revisionist history guy where I'm saying like, Oh, well, if they weren't stealing signs of daughters would have won that game and stick for that series in six games like maybe the Astros were to make the World Series and the Yankees beat him.
Bad omen for him, All right, I know you can't rewrite history based on some information coming out, you know? Yeah.
I mean, everyone's gonna wonder what if Now, And I think that's the crappy part because we've been wondering what if for a long time except our what if was was what if we sign Verlander or went after Verlander instead of Darvish? That's always been our what if? And that's a lot easier, a lot easier to blame your own front office, then to fall under and become a victim of cir***stance, and that's a lot harder to deal with.
And so I was talking to some people about it, saying, I remember there were some pretty huge Vegas bets on the on the Dodgers in that 2017 world.
I remember one guy in particular had put down, like 1.
5 million or something on them.
Huge number, huge ridiculous number.
Imagine how that guy feels right now.
I mean, if you can afford to put down that much on the Dodgers is probably not that big of a deal for him.
But nevertheless, what you think about what should have been yours, and that's tough.
That's tough to look back on, definitely a black eye for baseball when you're talking about the integrity of the game, I guess like I said, science dealing is 100% of part of the game.
But that is against the rules, and it's very against the rules, and they know it's against the rules.
There's no we didn't know we couldn't do that like they understand.
So that's gonna be tough to get over.
It's gonna be ah, it's gonna be a weird year for them Next year.
It's gonna be a great thing for them to have to work around for the next season.
After that, it'll pretty much be gone the same way.
Everything else in the past has been gone from teams that have gone through things similar to this.
You know, the Patriots with Deflate Gate gone in the sands and everyone forgot about it.
No one cares about things like that.
The apple watch what I think is fiasco.
Whatever I think is interesting is I read that shoot.
What book was it? What's a book? What does this word I've been reading? Wait a minute.
That's the thing with the paper.
Forgot what book it was.
But they basically talked about the kind of the Astros organization, how there was, like, so much resentment and distrust within the organization because it was very much a process formulated, you know, no feelings, no whatever kind of organization.
And so I think there was always kind of this mistrust for the organization itself.
There's nothing. Lead it back it with.
Yeah, and over the past, Like I mean, the sooner thing was, start over the past month.
Now we've had, like, a couple instances where it's like, OK, it's really easy dislike this team.
Yeah, I mean, it's like they're 100% I think, the biggest villain now in baseball.
So I guess the Yankees air very excited about all of this.
The Yankees like to be excited. You got it.
I got the breaking news Gabe Kapler just hired as the Giants the manager allow.
Did anybody not expect that? Um, I thought there was a chance it could be some very random person.
I thought there was a It's a farmhand.
Far hand grown, born and raised.
That was That was the guy that Forehand wanted immediately.
And ownership was like, No, you gotta interview some more.
And then Dave Roberts, as he does with his words, whisk them away because he's a talker.
How are you tweeting right now? Magic.
Wow, the age we live in.
Speaking of Andrew Friedman Thio, button up this this final bit of the Astros thing.
He is not what we're talking about the whole time.
What? I thought that's what all we were gonna talk about the entire episode.
No, no, that's not the way this works.
But Friedman responded with what was he put machines like.
We kind of knew about it, and now we know to do better.
Basically, basically, what he was saying was a lot of people had said that Darvish was tipping his pitches in the 2017 World Series, and that's how the Astros got to him.
And he said, We have things in place to make sure that doesn't happen.
We have people to catch that.
We have systems to make sure that that is not a reason why our pictures getting rocks.
And he's like So if this is true, makes sense, It adds up.
If it's true that he did add that on Avery, you know, very Andrew Friedman.
Way to approach it.
There's a diplomacy there, big time Tina team and Tina G.
Man on Facebook says they should lose multiple draft picks.
That's probably a good start.
Jason Clarissa's has to give it back.
I like that one that way.
You know, I haven't haven't awarded any points yet because I consider those points.
Draft picks don't have the same.
They just don't have the same feel as they do in other sports, though, like you talk about like punishment In football, that's a huge that have traffic or basketball.
That's what going to rounds.
Yeah, has the the Boners 17 around in baseball? It's like All right, whatever.
Who cares? We're to go international anyway.
So what Twitter's working it for a 16 19 is their faces book.
OK, kids calling older folks boomers these days.
I mean, I feel pretty old all the time, so that makes sense That got one giant tears roll number.
We'll have a roll down the other cheek because that that particular cheek is on camera right now.
Our height man brings up a good point.
It is really easy to hate the Astros.
They just really make it easy on everybody.
It's fantastically easy to hate the Astros, and they deserve it.
Yeah, well, I was rooting for Ah, Brian Dozier.
I was rooting for a rally Meteor.
Honestly, I never forgave Para for breaking up reuse, knowing I still don't like par.
I still don't like I do want to take this shark take this moment between this would be great for the podcast and give Mr Krajewski his nifty gift.
He said had this, I got the box.
You can pull it off.
It it It's surprising, You know, if you're a coffee drinker, if your zip his drinker looking for a zipkin sponsor, I made him this delicious mug.
It's got its Rick in the booth.
Boys, this is that's actually pretty pretty lip.
I do say so myself.
It's an actual booth Boys cup.
Yeah, I never thought I would have my face on a motorway.
Wait, I want you to leave this here.
Yeah, leave it right there.
And everybody on the podcast side.
That was a great moment for them.
People listening, that's for them.
So you can feel the box anyways, So it's been an interesting week for me in the Astros, because last week, after we, uh, we finished up our show, that was when I kind of air quote dropped the news that with Tyler White having dropped the weight is because right when he came over to L. A.
I was told by people within the organization I will I will take the high road and say sources a friend of a friend of a friend who is not that even far removed from the field. Quite literally.
They that the organization knew about him having the steroid issue and immediately said, Here's a diet plan.
Here's the medication.
We're gonna get you right Well.
And that particular source went on to say that the Tyler White's previous team We won't call them the Astros.
But they knew about the issue it anyways.
So a day after I posted that, because Astros apparently really laid on it, I guess nobody tipped them off to what was happening.
There is like I can't Yeah, I understand that the Astros Twitter people got all over me like they were trying toe hurt my fields.
And I you know, I don't care about what any human people or anything have to say about you.
Didn't I call me? I said.
But I thought that was really funny that here they are.
A week ago, you tryingto high road and do whatever, and now I think they're all still trying to high road, and they're trying to battle back from this on the Internet.
I'm assuming, but it's just funny, and I guess the ultimate story.
The ultimate point of the story is poo poo on you, Astro and Astro fans and Astro Nation and any of you former Dodger fans that somehow became cut, folded Astro fans or whatever the hell you're supposed to be these days, screw off to you people, too.
I thought you have to say about that.
Yeah, it seemed it seemed important.
That's a good way to wrap up.
Ask ate what we call in a way.
We're going anymore. Guys.
What else are you supposed to call it? I don't know anymore.
Well, the important thing is t move off of that and move on to something.
We also we haven't talked.
Ah whole bunch about in our in our short few amount of the will to many, honestly, for our enjoyment, uh, episodes, post post, post post season.
I guess we'll call it.
But we've got a lot into free agency, but we really haven't talked about the trademark.
And that's where the fun is.
That's where really, the more you look at it, you know, right now, the general manager meetings, they're happening.
And while nothing happens really, during those meetings, I don't think we've ever seen any moves or any sort of headlines come out of it outside of the Astros being piles of crap this year, that's gonna be that's where.
The groundwork, the ground where he had that somebody walks in.
Who is their guy is it is a crane.
Now it's the owner, right? The owner, Whatever.
They all look to CEO.
His name's Jeff now. Lou.
Now, Yeah, he's He's probably gonna go home.
Jeff, I'm gonna skip the GM meetings this year.
Probably I would recommend it, Jeff, but they're all talking or probably not talking.
It's 2019 so they're probably all like jammed in the corners on their computers, instant messaging, each other or something like that. This this way, I assume.
But this is where a lot of trades sort of the framework it's late laid out.
Maybe we'll see some moves happen at the winter meetings, but this is already lining up to be another God awful, slow, painful off season.
It feels like to me, but, um, we can't wait until February when the signing start.
All right? Great.
We we've talked a lot about colon run down and all that, but not enough on the trade, so Ah, this guy over here.
F r G. That's me.
I ran into MLB Network superstar and host of intentional talk, Chris Rose.
Rosie was at Dodger Stadium earlier this week on Monday, and he actually took some time to chat with us about just the idea of trades and whether the Dodgers were at this offseason.
So let's go and give that a listen.
I two guys that well, apparently the sounded that thing again.
Well, he was seeing a lot of words about things and pretty much, uh, well said Yes, The sound's not working on you either.
I don't understand.
Like I fixed it, I did it and where it should have been doing the right thing.
But whatever f you sound pretty much Rosie identifies the names we've seen a lot of We got Mookie Betts.
We got Frankie Land Door and kind of a newer name you're sort of surprised to see.
And Kris Bryant, um, if we're looking at trades, looking at those names and and I already hear a sound coming out of you, Brooke, about the idea of Kris Bryant, and I kind of feel the same way.
I don't think Chris Brian's a good baseball player on the idea of trades.
Dodgers have the most firepower out of any team.
This much we know.
Um, I don't know.
I want your guys take the start on Bryant.
Let thought of Bryant and in l.
A and let's go with you, Mr. Krajewski.
Uh, I don't know that I'd love that for the doctors, To be honest, I think he's a good header.
He's a great player.
I was a lot of star potential, but for what I've seen kind of the last couple years, he's aggressive as a player 100%.
There's a reason why he's on the trading block for a Cubs team.
That talent life should be competing every year right now.
So the reason there, they're going to unload him because they're not happy with them either.
So I'm okay with that thoughts.
He's like a 1 20 PS plus guy.
He's not a guy that performs exceptionally well outside of Chicago, and I know Chicago is like a really hit her Miss Ballpark like you can, uh, really feast your famine there, depending on the day, depending on the wind.
You know that. You know the wind in Chicago.
You win, you'll be there.
That's ice, though, I swear.
Yeah, ice wind is different.
Um, he doesn't make sense for me.
He's not like a long term guy that profiles for me.
He's not really a short term guy on the profiles.
It would make sense for the cups to trade him.
The more I think about it, with their current depth and their lack of farm system, for better or worse, it would make sense.
And they got a couple of guys from their core that they could probably trade from if that one or two of them cows former should definitely not be a cub House over should definitely not be in the National League s.
So it doesn't make sense that he's made it this long there.
And, you know, his bat really profiles well, like even though even though they eventually got that world siris out of amore with him in tow, I think I think the Cubs roast were no.
I was going to different with.
The Cubs were really set on this course with the Hayward move that What? Yeah, two.
It was 200 weight.
Too much money he got for the J. Kid.
No, I was just telling you that respond doesn't make sense to me.
I don't want him, and I don't want him near my team as a person. I'm sure he's great.
I've never met him, but people really like him.
A lot of those handsome boy, I think all of them.
Except I'm not big on Wilson Contreras.
That's just like a personal thing.
I don't know where that vendetta comes from, but I don't really like Wilson Contreras.
Everybody else is fine.
I like how you guys were not handsome rubble bets.
Mookie Betts is by far Boston's biggest trade chip, but to me, he just doesn't feel like a fit any way, shape or form of the Dodger.
Even if he did play Ah, whole bunch of second base in the minor leagues and even, you know, he has played a little in the big leagues.
That's still limited to second base.
And that's not really the problem area for Los Angeles.
Do you guys feel any one way or another for granted? He was just an M V P.
But I would argue that he fits perfectly for this team.
What if I throw anything? What if I just said that? And I was like, That's a good argument.
Hash tag ****ysis.
Very high on base guy, Very high on base percentage.
He can steal bases, which is something that we haven't had for, I don't know.
Since you left Jordan since Dee Gordon.
I don't think that and I know I am.
I know he does not fit in a second ba*****t.
I think is a second baseman, I think, is the left fielder.
Why isn't he right fielder? I think you're right.
I do. But I want diligently right field.
I want Belgian play center field to Actually, I want Dillinger to play anywhere where he thrives.
That's all I care.
I don't really care.
You could make Mookie left field there at Dodger Stadium.
There's nothing exceptionally difficult about Dodger Stadium compared to the state and he currently plays that which is hella difficult.
And he's a right handed hitter.
Okay, we need a right handed hitting outfielder.
Pollock was that We hope that he's still gonna be that he's gonna be better at it.
But I'm just Listen, guys, I know I've been trying to trade Jack Peterson for, like, 15 years now.
It's been a minute.
It's been a minute.
He doesn't fit the mold that this team I don't know.
It's just he just doesn't just fit so much better somewhere else in the league values.
I'm so much higher than we do in l. A.
And can you just go, please? See, the sooner I like him but can't go sooner.
The sooner we can get somebody that more closely resembles an actual leadoff hitter.
So I'm all for that.
This is last year's team control.
Yes, dark athletes.
So what is it? This is it.
He's gonna be paid way more than we want to give him this year for a guy who's gonna have, I don't know, 400.
Rick, do you have any feelings one way or the other expanding on the bets idea? I mean, I won't talk about guys to get rid of certainly my position being with me and everything, but good call.
Uh, I mean, I love bets As a player, I think you'd be great.
I mean, you'd be great from the roster.
Like you said, as a right handed hitter in the Dodgers, pretty much desperately need.
Give their left handed bulk of the lineup.
But, um, you gotta factor needs basically a one year rental.
And last night when I saw him own term, which would be a pretty hefty contract.
So, fatty contract.
So what assets are you gonna give up to get him? And is there a better option? I guess for a right handed batter that something will get into the next guy.
But, I mean, I would love to see Bess doesn't seem to have potentially a M v p from last year and potentially MVP this year.
Maybe question mark in the same outfield would be incredible.
I mean, two guys who have won gold gloves.
I mean, it's it is a bad thing that you get from that, but it's a matter of what it would cost.
How would work And, you know, again, it's one year potentially and then you're out.
Ask that you gave up and hopefully it's here.
You in the world series.
But if it doesn't, it's okay.
It's another daughter's been tempted. It didn't work out.
Plus, he's gonna be like a 20 something $1,000,000 guy. Exactly.
He's gonna be expensive.
Uh, I don't know.
And you know, the Red Sox are going over value.
And Tony have the process they have, They don't have a choice because their farm system is There's a lot of bad farm systems out there right now.
I didn't realize that on a lot of really good teams, a lot of really good teams are about to be really bad.
And the doctors were really good and they have a really good farm systems that gives you that opportunity.
Oh, again, I feel whoever the hell we want and I use we very liberally we can go get him.
100% can go get them.
Just we finally have to accept the idea of Okay, we are gonna have to trade.
Probably Lux and at least gonsouland, plus maybe two Maur dudes.
And on top of that, so there's this, like there's a lot.
There's a lot of bodies that are going somewhere, especially for someone like a movie, Bets or the name.
We were all talking about it before hitting that that live button, but the name that probably makes the most sense for for this club and for this offseason we're seeing it pop up a lot.
Honestly, was pretty much it was The first name that came out of that was Marosi threw it out there like the middle toe end of October.
But Frankie Linda or is it dude whose name is on the trade market? Cleveland needs to get rid of them or they'll need to, but they kind of have no choice because they need to cut payroll to be two for them.
And the idea of Linda or in Dodger Blue is is good.
And this one we're gonna play a clip and it's gonna work.
This time, I promise you more with Chris Rose talking about Francisco indoor.
I don't think it's too much to say that Frank Lindh or is my favorite Indian of all time.
That's saying something because he's only been in the big leagues now for not even five years, but what he brings to the table how he can change the dynamic of a club with his energy.
You're talking about a Gold Glove shortstop who can hit 40 home runs.
Who gives you a good at bat and loves the limelight? I mean, I would do everything in my power if I'm Andrew Friedman to pry him away from the Indians, and the Dodgers have plenty of young, controllable players that the unions would would love and would covet.
And like I said, he he can change stuff because Seeger is as solid a careers he's had so far.
He is injury prone and I don't know.
Let's say he was one year from free agency with the Dodgers.
Wanna lock him up definitively? I don't know, I don't know.
So we're talking pretty much it would have to be.
At least a direct position will swap with Linda and Seeger.
You're not guaranteed to have to include Seger in that trade.
But one of the things I asked Mr Krajewski here was to just give us some some some love.
Give us some stats.
Let's compare the idea at shortstop of Linda or versus Seeger by the numbers.
What do you got for me? Uh, Mr Krajewski.
I mean, offensively, they actually compared fairly.
Similarly, just from an average on Baisley kind of peripherals.
I'm looking out there.
I mean, secret as a little of a slight idea, actually, if you look at it but, um Linda or surprising a little bit more power on the averages over 30 home runs a year.
Where Sears More in the 2025 range. Yeah.
Obviously more doubles from from me.
Lynn Door, just in the last four years hasn't beat, but you have to factor in its Seeger missed almost a full year.
Um, Speed, I got a tip to Ellen door on that one.
And defense, I think it's for Linda really sets himself apart.
I mean, the number of place he could make the rangy has really kind of supersedes what's here could do in the field.
Seeger has benefited greatly from kind of the positional adjustments in the scouting that the Dodgers do, which is great.
Now you say Okay, can you do the same thing with indoor? It's like I want to say he makes like, 45% of the non routine blaze factor in that now is to be in a better position before the play starts.
I mean, it's it's amazing the ground that can cover him, what he can do and what he could do with the Dodgers.
So when I hear that name, I get excited.
It's no knock on sea or I'd love an ideal Rick world.
We have Seeger and Window on the left side of the infield.
Everybody's happy and, you know, everybody complete everywhere.
But, you know, if if the trade were made, I wouldn't be a guy who says, Oh, no, my favorite player is gone Now You know what? We have laughed.
It's really excited about having for fiscal indoor.
What do you think ng there, Mr Brooke? Well, I kind of said it before.
We haven't had a true leadoff hitter in, uh, since Rafael Furcal.
We haven't had a really good glove in the infield since.
Ah, Rafael Furcal! So I'm off.
I mean, I love it.
I would love if he came over here.
I don't know what we have to give up to him.
With how much control he has left on him, Indians are gonna ask for.
Look a lot. That start the locks.
It starts with looks every month, not even it.
Any trade that that happens to come down this offseason, Lux is no longer a Los Angeles doctor.
Everybody wants this kid, and right now we're fighting.
I think we're as Dodger fans and maybe I'll speak for myself more here.
But you know, we're fighting haven't seen so many hits and, you know rst, Dr Tim Rogers pointed it out in one of his recent articles.
I think it was him.
It wasn't him than Tim. I'm giving you the credit.
But you know, we've been so blessed to have so many hits with were much keep cranking up the hits, whether it's Bellenger or Seeger or Walker Bueller.
These these can't miss.
Prospects aren't missing, and that's that's a huge thing.
So you really want to see what's next? What can we pull out of Gavin Locks? Can he be that guy who was hitting close to 400 for most of his his Triple A career this this this year? It just At some point, though, as as Rosie points out in the earlier clip that you know well, people in the podcast side We'll be able to hear it.
I'm gonna fix that.
But the other people couldn't hear it.
The was sd Dr Tim. Thank you, Tim.
At some point, you need to just You can't just keep relying on the same thing.
You need the excitement of change.
You need to go out and find like like, ah, known commodity in this case with Linda, or as opposed to maybe what you might get out of locks and locks.
What? Lux is 2122.
He's a young boy.
He's a young, supple boy.
It's gonna take him a very, very long time to become that guy.
That's, you know, it doesn't immediately become Korean this third season.
He might be more.
I mean, not to say his rookie month was fantastic, but you don't know what you have in him yet.
And we're also very tired of losing and being this sort of laughing stock in in baseball in a way that sometimes you just have to change course and and I'm I'm I'm fine with that.
And keep in mind if they do decide to offload Frankie, uh, that basically cement the fact that they're looking to overhaul their entire financial situation.
And so with that in mind, they're gonna probably send clue grout somewhere because he has a huge contract.
He's like at $80 million for, you know, for a 34 year old picture that's a little hefty for the Indians.
They still have him on their books for roughly the same.
You've got guys like, uh, Jose Ramirez, who are about to become are in there are arbitration three year.
I think guys like that.
You know, there's gonna be a lot of moving parts to this if they decide and it's going to start with Frankie.
So if they decide to off, load him the Dodgers, who knows they could take on quarter Clippers contract.
That might be part of the deal because they're gonna want to get rid of money.
And the doctors have money to spend.
So and you have to consider that you need another right handed starter and somebody that can get used, you know, quality innings.
You know that some people look at the fact that only made seven starts in 2019.
What's problem? Some people look at the idea that that they only may healing made seven starts in 2019.
Um, I look at that.
That's low mileage.
I'm taking the Scott Boris pitch on that or approach on a ago.
You know what? He saved himself a year of throwing on that arm.
So he should be all healthy and spruced up Andre to bring the Dodgers a championship home.
Of course. That's just me.
Other thing I didn't mention with Linda is a switch hitter.
That's a right handed bat again.
We're talking about bets.
I mean, a guy in a situation you could hit right handed in the leadoff spot.
Okay. Uh, impressive.
So if you think I mean, I want to say I looked at his career stats.
He was slightly better as a right handed hitter than Lefty.
Yeah, last year he was worse is a righty, but overall, it's a guy who could hit it from both sides of the plate.
So I feel good about having him in the lineup if if that trade were made and plus that something, this is a little bit different, and it's kind of fun to have that, you know, a switch hitter there at the top.
That's a true difference maker in the lineup.
He could be somebody bat leadoff or whatever, but, you know, you look at that lineup, it are.
You look at that, that that potential in field and you're seeing I don't think there's any way, shape or form that that Justin Turner isn't playing first in 2020.
You're looking at Turner at first and Muncie at second and then Seeger at third.
Lynn Dorrit short.
And that's like that.
You know, that's pretty good in field.
That's, Ah, Scout, not a scout here.
I think that would win.
I think that would do.
Ah, they would score a lot of run points is the kids call 50 states and I think there's a lot of flexibility that comes with kind of doubt.
It have always been very flexible in terms of being able to see you guys in different spots, but I think a lot for months. He's development.
Second base has been when he played more consistently throughout the air for weeks at a time.
It's said he has a lot better and more comfortable out there.
When he was kind of moving around a little bit or not getting regular days in the lineup.
That's what you saw in Buda couple balls or not be a sharp.
So I think it's, he continues, develop maybe that second base role.
You know, having him out there consistently every day or 140 games a year.
I'm really paid dividends for him personally.
Give Muncie consistent spot.
Let him learn it.
And And Seeger's already like Like you're saying Rick, thanks to his, his defensive positioning and all that, he's already such an exceptional glove on the infinite short.
You really wonder what he would do with ah less rangy and Maur, you know, straight up and down position.
You could see him put up the three defense award season.
I mean, does anybody look at that? Is that like a stab people care about? I mean, I look at some of the other fangraphs metrics more like defensive run saves, and you really are and stuff like that.
So I focus more on that.
But I mean, it's definitely something you look at a day to day basis.
I mean, the thing with secrets is not like he's been bad at shortstop or like we're looking like we need to overhaul a position defensively.
But if you can upgrade it, and if he can play a good third base if you end up keeping him, I mean, that's something to look into It least not to mention Turner's defense at third base. Is.
Has been going downhill for the past two years.
Will continue getting older.
His knees are his wrist hurts, his back hurts.
Everything hurts the same.
I get it, I get it.
He profiles his first base in long term for his old agent messages.
Move over there.
Now you have the chance.
It's gonna happen over there.
Well, they give Muncie spot.
The other thing.
I think the Times today officially linked the Dodgers as air quote in on Donaldson, which is another old third baseman.
But I kind of like that.
The dynamic he brings, he's somebody I think is sort of notorious as and in a positive spin, kind of a clubhouse ******* because he's not there.
Thio just f around.
He wants to be there to win, and I was talking Thio a beat writer for for the for the Braves.
Mr Gay Burns former editor of here, a Dodgers nation.
He's a beat writer for the Braves, and he was talking about pretty much that same vein.
How how much the introduction of Donaldson into that, that clubhouse there at SunTrust or whatever the hell they call that ballpark these days? Um, it was It was a different, ah, different.
I guess we'll call it a different monster for the club, like he's sort of it in his own world.
But he's very receptive to anybody coming up and asking him for this or that. You know he will.
He'll take his time of the media, and I think just you have that angry boy in the back.
It could be, I don't know if it's a problem to say the Dodgers air, maybe looking a little too buddy buddy in the clubhouse these days.
It's probably a good thing you prefer that it was nice to go through a season where it wasn't Ope week.
Did this or somebody's mad at that? Or Greinke's trying to fight plead or whatever the hell the problem was that any given point in time but also at some point where it starts get a little too vanilla and boring, which I know is bright up bricks now.
You said that that is literally the shot fired.
I'll say, he said, Literally so rude.
He said that you like that? That's fine.
I love you both.
It was the word you use. That's great.
So far, Boomer and boring.
Boomer, did you text me that earlier today? You said you were boring or something.
I don't know why I would do that.
It was all fake news.
Should I leave? Yes.
Anyway, some sort of change.
See me in that clubhouse, being the guy who's rasin and ruining everybody's day.
See, that could be a difference maker. Josh Donaldson.
Could be that difference maker.
What do you guys think? I could be wrong on this, But 88 Gibson came in.
Yes, they were trying to pull pranks.
He was like, No, I'm not gonna deal with this.
He's kind of like he walked out. Yeah.
So I know your shirt literally says enough about 88 but, I mean, that was a guy who was basically it was like, No, I don't I don't want to, I don't know For what it's worth, I don't mess around in the clubhouse.
I wanna win whatever it takes to win, we're gonna win.
And I'm not saying that the way that's the way down son is, but maybe a different personality type like that to say, Hey, I'm here if you guys want to talk or if you have questions for me or whatever you need, but I I'm getting older.
I have one focus and that's the one World Series and I think that could be over the clubhouse.
I don't know what will it cost? Only logistics on that.
But if if you were wearing that, I can't see him being a bad clubhouse guy, No.
And while he's older, he's also somebody that kind of fits that that type of player that Dodgers want, which is pay him a bunch pain for not that long.
And you know you're taking Turner away from third.
It checks off a lot of boxes and you're not losing that Prospect Capital.
I think he does have the qualifying offer attached to him.
If I'm not mistaken, but he sold, he shouldn't but there's a possibility.
He also, if you look up every benches clearing incident in the Major league baseball since his rival, he's in a lot of them not necessarily in the middle of all of them.
But he's always the 1st 1 out.
There was a time when Toronto was good.
Yeah, when Toronto was fighting with the Rangers every other week.
You know what? Oh, Door cleaned.
Donaldson was the 1st 1 out on the field, like sprinting out on the field with polar, like both jumping over people to punch. Oh, Door.
So I don't know, maybe you need that.
We don't have that guy really anymore.
Who's like like, Kershaw became that guy and it wasn't like that.
That's not what it's supposed.
Yeah, Kershaw gets up over the events like Salters out to the middle of the field near, like, this is our fight.
That was like a fight Now was that one time? Most of the times cursed our was dancing around like a dork, which was a fun introduction.
You know his repertoire.
I guess we'll call it.
But many personalities of Yeah, I don't know many people want to talk about curse right now.
I'm just saying sd Dodger Davis The points out that Billy being chased Donaldson out.
I don't know if he chased them out, but, um, yeah, that's one thing I don't like Brett Lawrie for.
Yeah, that would be more than was eventually cheesed out. Gail.
Friend of show, Gayle says, was thinking the same thing about Donaldson.
Need a fire in the clubhouse and he was definitely that in Toronto.
If I would know about Toronto, literally, he's in Canada.
Yeah, some means resident expert on all things Canadian team Canada's Pretty.
I think she's in Toronto.
Why you mad if you're in L.
A like if you live in L.
That means you live in California to people.
So if she lives in wherever, that means she lives in all of Canada.
Is that like a nice like the entire? Yeah, like when I go places and they're like, Where you from? I'm like hell a America. America.
No, I'm not from l.
We got a funny little I don't know what we want to call us, But a friend of the show, John Aisles ever is a friend of the show here on YouTube, says Irit.
Second round on Jeopardy Clue mentions a telescope.
1950 one's and an apple watch in 2017.
Being used to steal signs. Deems name.
Bobbie Thomas. We're not Mention it.
That's pretty funny.
See that, guys? That's like divine intervention or something.
I don't know. Manifest this day.
Never heard of her the way.
Different thing Jose knows best.
Says it's his first time watching.
Well, thank you for joining us today, and he loves it.
Okay, I wasn't ask trash like, Do you like it out of that boring boomer pouring? Brewer, I would like to know that my old lady says, Stop being mean to rank you.
I give you a mug.
That's also love.
See, I mean, Boomer.
It has his friends.
This is a nice people, Rick in the boot.
Boys saw Boyd last night.
And you didn't invite us to the Clippers game. You could come.
A lot of people were there.
Think I'll pass on the Clipper? Go, I Why would you plant Lou? Come on, Go ahead.
You do it. Hit it.
You could take over.
Brooke, you go ahead making this all about you.
Well, you know what? It usually is all about me guys.
And so that's why we're gonna talk about my awards for this.
No, I don't have any words for the season.
It is still baseball awards season, and it's coming down to the final turn.
The ballots, of course, have already been cast in the likelihood that people were setting the podcast after the award winners already announced are pretty high.
But that's okay.
It's not a big deal.
We can still talk about it.
But we have several nominees by several.
I mean, way have those way of upwards of multiple.
Several applied, like to like more than don't usually know.
I think it goes a couple levels.
Several, three more.
You guys let us know what we're eating.
53 to five is several.
Subscribe to smash that subscribe on fam squad.
Ah, uh, I mean, we I wouldn't see.
We timed this appropriately because we've been hoping to get you in here for a while.
But it just feels like the right timing, considering that our boy rules up for hiss.
Is it unearned? Cy Young.
Where are you at? On the three nominees and all? I will accept both a biased opinion with Mister.
You're gonna have to go and buy is almost where were you? Sure? Here.
So, uh, you didn't You dressed like an adult? You were right.
Brown dress like I don't very often.
So, um, as far as the Cy Young goes, very biased.
I would love for you to win.
I think you put together an exceptional season.
The area leader, um, what have you is first in the air? A first in your A plus first and walks per nine.
Um, but I think that the reason that he may not win is because he really struggled down the stretch.
What? His last seven starts two and three with a 54 year A.
And I want to say just this isn't from, like, any insider information, anything like that.
But I got the perception I talk to people are in the season that it was always, like, reused, doing great.
This is awesome. Fun to watch.
Had a 32 consecutive scoreless.
It's not gonna last.
It's gonna regress.
And then it didn't regress and it kept going and kept going.
They started the All Star Game and it was okay.
But it's gonna keep going.
And then finally, like later in the year, guys being like, I think your boy's gonna win the Cy Young.
I'm like, Yeah, you know, I've been talking about this for a while there and then it was almost like, immediately that flipped, he started showing a little bit.
It's almost like the guys we're looking for, a reason not to vote for you because, let's be honest.
He doesn't have the strikeout numbers. It's not ***y.
I mean, one of the stats I just listed was first and walks per nine, which is something only I care about.
So, like, there's gonna be 100 reasons not to vote for him because you have shares or you have D Graham, who probably will win it if I'm being totally honest, who can just dig round, led the league in strikeouts again and he carried the team down the stretch.
So if you're looking at guys who in a world where a lot of people vote by what they're seeing at the end of the season.
The ground was awesome down the stretch.
Even met already eliminated whatever.
And were you struggled so I could see a lot of guys just swing vote that way.
Sam, I get this is why? Because, you know, the existence is that this is that in my mind, it was the reason they were looking for all along on a separate note.
Oh, if he does win, how will you celebrate? Said wait.
Because that's the important information.
Very important question Hit that really fast.
Doesn't prison you just west of the pinky, too.
You guys know about how, like you're gonna run.
Are you gonna be in Chicago when it's announced tomorrow? Tomorrow? I don't know. I don't know.
Next Wednesday, with my mom's listening, I'm coming home next.
He's gonna let out a very slightly audible woo.
You're here and be a very exciting.
They will be like a sprint around the neighborhood.
And then I'll be hitting up.
Anyone like you guys will get tax bill.
You guys wanna go out tonight? You wanna hang up? I want in a social setting right now, which doesn't happen that often, so I don't want to come out and hang out with us and we'll have a beer and you can watch us play You can wear.
Just You're just how I imagine suffering, watching people play softball.
I pictured it eight dudes on the team with six girls that totally worked.
My back kinda hurts. You can play shortstop.
I wanna make sure left in a shortstop.
I was sure it was pretty No, I got other people anyway.
I don't know how we'll celebrate.
I mean, it was, I don't know yet.
Follow the bottle of champagne with me like that.
Hisham Adela was a responsible reaching out so they don't answer.
If I wrote it in Spanish, if I could give a percentage, I'd say, like 30% chance for you.
I think that's being a little generous.
Why wasn't that wasn't a reaction to this? Was reaction to our buddy aging Gonzalez.
A Johnny guitar says we should celebrate with a glass of gin and tonic and gin spelled J A i n.
I get it. This animal gin makes me angry.
Jane makes me o T o.
Any other alcohol makes me the happiest guy in the world uh, gin.
This adverse reaction to jail makes me ah, makes your clothes fall.
That, too, but also, like, jump off of roofs into pool.
Sweet beer also does that.
And whiskey does that, and alcohol does that.
A small crowd makes me do that because I'm a sucker for a laugh.
He loves the attention.
I bet if I could knock the ground quick.
His team was only 14 18 to start Sanya 14 18.
Plus, he's the mitts bust, but but But he hit more homers.
That Rick, you will hear you hit.
That one was the most glorious.
Did you just hear it like that? I actually replayed the the, uh um, the call of it the other day.
Just cause I just needed to hear it was one of the best days of my entire life.
I mean, that's not a super that is, since they're I think, See, I think they're I don't know how good it would have been for me if I didn't know you knowing you.
I was like, I'm so happy for Rick right now.
And I was on Twitter and I was like, watch everybody congratulated Rick one after another.
I didn't literally It was incredible.
I know everyone like so happy for Rick.
I didn't see it.
I was at the golf course and I still text you about it.
I was like, How are you feeling? Great.
I don't know that my heart's ever have pretty slow heartbeat, I think.
And that was Stop it fixed a medical condition.
Guys, That's Harvey.
It's good, man, I'm in great Chief. I was happy.
Theoretically, theoretically was the last time I was happy.
That was the last time I was happy.
Nerdy doctor says someone get broken tequila.
It's a important thing to Kuala.
What about our other guy? That what's his name? Building something If you get the other guy.
Where this is the real you shows the hot review our butt.
What about belly? Oh, yeah.
Billy forgot he could get an award.
Possibly Probably not so happening, Rick, if I had to.
Actually, I mean, of the two daughters like Dillinger is Jiminy.
We're like between the two.
Yeah, I'd say if I to put that's a 60 40 Ballenger over Yell ich And it has a lot to do with the fact the elements the last two weeks with a broken knee.
Yeah, and it's It's tough because I mean again from the peripherals Higher average, higher on base, higher slugging.
Um, I think the Gold Glove for your for Ballenger definitely helps from an all around player. Respected.
I find interesting that guys always talk about when comes, like M v. P.
Okay, well, he was on a team that, you know, he led them to the playoffs.
We lead them this site and for Cy Young, it doesn't really make a difference.
Like, yes, I Yeah, it's like we're just the best picture.
It's like, Oh, well, you one of those games because your offense was good.
I mean, I understand.
It's just I don't know.
I have been saying it for years and I'll keep saying it till the day I die.
Baseball voting is one of the most flawed systems in the whole sport or whatever.
All of sports. That's what I mean.
Uh, but I'm sorry.
I will say about you, Alex.
I mean, he missed but 32 games total in the season with the bags that were never and then I know it's not as pronounces cores.
But like the home field advantage, he has a regular park.
Yeah, if you look at it. Splits.
Granted, his splits on the road are about equal to what Ballenger hit, not too far off.
But if you factor in the full season, the Gold Glove win, the division, the start of the season, the one knock on Bellagio hit like to 56 of the last couple of months, and it's not great, but also have the Fielding Bible thing.
That's another Yeah, like defensive award.
He did all he did a lot of things with the glove he played everywhere he was that every man, probably definitely 100% was the most valuable player for the Dodgers.
But, yeah, I still think he wins it.
I just It's this body is close of an M v P.
As I've seen in a while, I'm being really honest.
Let's get that makes me feel better.
Well, before we let you go, Rick and before we let you guys go right all night because it's ah, what time is it? Tuesday? Uh, that's my best joke of the day so far, and it's not even close way had Gail ask.
And this is an interesting question, because I think a lot of people actually want to know this.
Where did your love for him start? For you? Yes, because no one really knows The origin story of Rick.
Rick did not like his work in room, but, like recon route.
There's my next year that the next mug.
Do you have you have, like, a picture with you? Like phantom arming around him.
I could make that.
You're making me Anthony.
You could make that right now. We got that.
Make that imposed.
So last year is my first year of the team Joe was asking about favorite players run this season.
And I mean, I'd see him pitch a few times.
I kind of grown toe like him as a player.
I just think like, Okay, when I pitched in college or just in general, I was a soft going.
Not that he's That's awfully, but left handed pitcher had a lot of junk, didn't really overpower guys.
When I say that like, I only care about walks per nine, that's because that was like my best stat, like I had the fewest walks on the D and you're like, Coach, please get my walks per night.
He'd be like, you struck out four guys and some things I'm like, Yeah, I didn't walk.
It means, like, give up saying home run.
Well, hey, I was just hypothetical situation.
Hey, get the ball park.
Right? So I think just from a left handed pitcher, like, I don't know, I gravitated towards someone who kind of not that I compared all to hit what he could do.
But, like, just similar pitching style on and then, I don't know, just kind of a lovable character.
And yeah, I heard that he didn't really throw bullpens and just kind of hung out.
And I didn't throw bullpens like I only pitched on days.
I the only time, like, throw baseballs when I catch him like this guy, this guy gets it.
I think that was one of my favorite things to hear about him because everyone was just like, What do you mean he doesn't throw bullpens just like yours doesn't throw bullpen.
They were like what I was like, Yeah, that sounds what I did at the D three levels.
It makes total sense he did at the big league.
And importantly, he bows one bad, too.
He's told me that he told you.
Yeah, I wouldn't say that.
I'm the one who lives on that.
It hurts me to this day.
Anyway, I to finish that story.
I told Joe I told the world that they're kind of, like, confused by it.
And then he went on the aisle or deal at that point.
And then he came back in the kitchen while a picture while and kind of like, each time he would pitch.
Well, the country would be like, You're here And then, like, midway through last season, they're kind of like you're loving this, aren't you about really low on its back.
So do you move into a scouting position? Could you imagine he's really good at picking out Don.
Really cornered the market on that.
Got four lefty starters throw under 90.
Would have we would have found Jamie Moyer right off the bat.
Yeah, I'm assuming you're all in on Cole was called high school.
Jamie Moyer like that suddenly get percent.
Not a compliment.
I was like, Thank you.
record for home runs allowed.
Go to like a like A like Jamie Moyer like That's not good.
You could pitch forever.
Keep in mind what Jamie Moyer was like only 46 at that time.
Listen, this still like 10 more years under his belt.
Oh God, I think it's about the proper time, and I don't know what to call it that we call this Mike.
I was I was the Jamie Moyer.
I'm pretty sure I'm calling this episode ideal.
Jamie Warriors Last season, he was 49.
Oh dear serious 49 years old people made.
He pitched in 2012 for Colorado 2008 Colorado as a 49 year old throwing like had a 5.
70 are a not bad.
What was his slip, though? Three.
It's like a dominating 5.
5 for being Jamie lawyer and being 49.
So blame to the whiskey for his crappy defense.
We're done anyways, guys, that's that's all the excitement we can handle today.
