crime doesn't pay.
Why stay things in life.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
What is going on? Everyone? It's the lighting out here is just a little bit off here earlier to do this.
But what we're gonna do today is we are going to break down the wide receiver position for you guys.
I'm gonna show you guys what's happening on the field with B y receivers for every single NFL team and kind of just just go through fundamentals, Uh, stuff like that, uh, basics different, different things like that.
What will go over some? Some techniques that also help you guys become a better receivers, Whether, you know, you play Pop Warner High School.
Uh, you know, middle school, college, whatever.
Whatever the case may be, uh, we're gonna do our part too.
Make you guys better.
Okay, So first thing that we're gonna talk about actually, um, is first thing we're gonna talk about, we're going to talk about.
We're gonna talk about about stances, were first talk, talk about stances, and then we're gonna go into the Roundtree and this, you know, from their talk about release, catching the ball with your eyes different things of that of that nature.
Just give me one second.
D'oh! D'oh! D'oh, d'oh! One moment.
Get Get my gloves on to good.
All right, Cool.
So now I'm all set up prepared.
I put put down a couple of notes, You know, some things I want to talk about actually Mike up a little bit for you guys.
All right? Hopefully you guys still hear me.
Even, uh, from this distance here over, you guys see me.
To see me is as good as you possibly can go to get my chap.
Although so I could see you.
What's going on? I am going Thio hit that green button and become a fan of you.
Hopefully you need to say so.
First thing that we want to talk about in regards to Survivor, secret position is gonna be stinks.
Your stance is super important where your hands are so on and so forth, especially in relation to give the defense back in relation to where where the corner is gonna be and how the corner is gonna be lining up.
So first thing understand is if the corner is showing.
Man in this corner is gonna be pressing you, and it's gonna be close up.
You want your hands here? You want your hands, you're ready to fight.
All right, once your hands here ready to fight, All right? You wantto also inside leg wherever.
So wherever the ball is inside, that's where you want.
That's where you also want.
Want your your lead leg? We're gonna be a leg.
So if the ball is over on this side of me, I'm leaving with my right leg.
My right leg is in front of me.
If I find the receiver a long life, I've never seen Rob on the weak side.
If I'm over on the strong side, inside foot is Leslie and that's the foot that out.
But I'm gonna be coming off.
I'm really pushing off and developing through my right through my route with part of this is the reason why Why? What foot is where you know batters is because it's for it's for timing a plate.
It's four timing and development of the play.
So that that way, you know, everything is in sync with the quarterback of the offense of all.
So That's first things first.
You know they're playing, man.
My hands are here.
Go out of my break.
I can do so if I have to.
You know, there there's gonna be intact fighting.
We're gonna know about coming.
Then You know what hands are here.
I don't be blocking.
You know, my hands.
I'm already ready to fight. I'm already ready.
I'm up in my mouth and do his chest.
Another thing that's important.
Or that you could do.
Let's see if they're playing off their played off.
All right, you keep your hands down low.
All right? So you keep the hands down low.
Oh, it has to be love.
I usually like this.
Especially if I also like this.
Could be a telltale sign that you're going, you know, just kind of hit it with a go route.
So you want it? You also want to make sure that you don't give yourself away.
We'll make sure you're consistent the whole way through.
That's another thing.
That that's important is a good release, All right? It's good, Really.
So one thing that you want to do is almost like the wide receiver position is almost like playing basketball.
All right, so no one nothing that you don't want to do that.
You're gonna want to try and break that corner down.
All right? In your stance, you're already back, but you're already low, ready to come into you.
Ready to come into your stride.
Here's the first.
All right, But you won't try trying, you know, big of it.
Almost like like Allen Iverson.
All right. And Allen Iverson. You got the ball.
Let's see what we got here.
Mom! Mom! Mom! A band number 24 Mom and number 24.
Huge guys, Be sure to give us a follow.
So nothing you want do you want do? It's almost a colleague across.
All right, So this is going to pin also where your route is gonna is gonna be going.
Corners like to use the outside of the field that sideline as health.
All right, So you almost want to kind of take away that you want to get inside If it's gonna be if we're running any any of our routes on the tree God, can you go to that left.
So what you're gonna wanna do is water can come here.
I think of it like football or likely, like basketball.
Like a bass player.
When they break you down, I cross over Its is boom, boom and their bone.
Okay, so same cost that don't most.
That course is football.
So we're here flown home.
What you want to be? You sure you guys from this angle straight up? Well, folks got happen quick.
Go, go, go Find yourself big Get caught in this boom break. Quick, clean.
All right, So you want to kind of get going below move, wash off a little bit of a move a little bit heavy so that, you know, you kind of throw.
Then you break them down off their offer, their momentum.
So let's see here.
One of things that I wanted to talk about as well with you guys is a different routes.
Uh, you are all right.
Don't know howto happen.
Okay, So what about the different route of the different routes with you? guys here.
All right, So first we're gonna work short feel routes, and four field is usually just a combination of one of two things.
It's either your flat or you're slaying.
All right? Now, with my flat, you run the flat.
That's gonna be, you know, you wanted one kind of cop, you know, it is three steps and then cut over toward the sideline.
All right, so it's a 123 and then you're back looking at Q B.
All right, So you wanna get flat? It's up.
123 What could that be? Take a picture of the ball.
Ready? Catch with eyes.
Remember, Whenever we catch you catch the eyes, catch the eyes We always catch the diamond Has a low pass If we catch him like like that fingers out comes out one with its love Life's always here We're here.
And they were always taking a picture with the eyes you catch with your eyes, Not your hands.
All right, So you always bone.
All right, so that's our That's our flat round.
All right, So flat.
Lighten up, Boom.
Get into the sideline.
Next one that I want to talk about is this laying around? This is the one day it's a lot of receivers booked up, so they cut across the middle.
That got deal right, linebackers, so on so forth.
So this one, this one you're cutting inside of the field, you're cutting inside.
All right, so you look for a soft spot in his own.
Now, both lights are usually the basics.
Land is gonna be inclined to three cut sharp cut.
Always you always when you cut, you always want a breakdown.
Okay, so it's a 123 boom.
Break it towards the inside, get to the inside.
Going to challenge, going to challenge those linebackers.
And one of the things that you really want to make sure that you do is that you want to make sure that you didn't know that when you're running these routes, you're getting in That and that and that corner's **** like you wanna be all up in their business.
All right? You won't be all up in their business.
What's good, Jimmy Jazz Mom number 24 Jimmy Jazz.
What, you want to make sure that that that that that you're that you're taking way.
Space corner corners, corners.
Best friend of space. They love.
They love their airspace.
All right, so once again, our flat 123 four, Cut! Look for that sideline.
We're looking for that sideline.
Our slam wants a great phone.
All right, slant.
You're looking more upfield.
You're looking for more form or upfield progression with that one.
Next up, we got to come back.
All right, Next up, we got to come back or three route.
We're going to take the gloves off.
I'm not catching right now.
Okay? All right.
So we got we got our three route nets to come back.
This is more intermediate about this beat for the next couple rounds.
Actually, we're getting into our interim, Dorian, immediate routes come back, you curl.
Um, your your injury that dig route on And then as well as your out routes.
All right, so here's later come back is gonna work.
So it's exactly what it sounds like.
Phil, Cut! You're coming back to the quarterback.
Come back to quarterback.
All right, Now, this rough does not get a whole lot of yardage.
Due to the fact that the receiver is well coming back to the Q B.
All right, let's run through that one more time.
All right? Yeah.
Oh, what? Come in.
Coming back to the quarterback.
I usually go for check downs.
Get a quick first.
Now, stuff like that.
Your curls. Almost almost similar.
The image is opposite.
All right. Said current.
Hey, what's up? You're just curling morning.
There's curling on it, right? Yeah.
Hey, he pulled just sitting there, just sitting there.
So next up, of course we got, you know, the end or the dig route A cz May is many people like to call it.
Oh, have fun with this.
You haven't so far here.
All right, so next up, you're like I said we got we got it.
You know what's known as it is in or dig more or less.
And what, What? What? What? What it is is okay.
What It is, Seaver.
It's usually a little bit of a deeper out.
More, more, more deep, deep downfield type.
Deal is gonna come off.
They just got I'm out.
Afraid near here.
So you want to cut up bull.
You're cutting and you're coming in.
There you go. That's why they call it in.
Out is towards the sideline, Out for silence.
Huh? See, so out route you're doing.
You know, that was no utilize clock running.
Gotta get out of balance, and soon you're out.
I'll stop that clock. Let's get to kick you out there.
Then, of course, you got your corner and your post routes.
You guys probably all use these in Manning.
All right? No quarter.
I'm looking for a corner.
Both just like it on record.
Oh, in that post.
So corner being host room.
All right? And it finally you go round a lot of guys, like uses to the drag.
I use a smart drag fae.
Don't you never need a favor? What? Go around.
We'll run that back. One more game.
So you probably wondered why you slow down the progression of a go round because I want a trick.
The corner 40 to safety.
More likely on that round face to save you.
Definitely on a trip to safety and they got to slow down.
Your best asset is a wide receiver.
Is your ability to sell that you're actually gonna do something else? Well, ****.
But that's your best asset is a wide receiver.
So when you could show a I'll make I'll make this.
I'll make this look like like like they come ago.
So, you know, really, it's almost like a comeback, but it really you know, once I catch it on that, come back, I'm gone, you know? So that's what you want to be able to do as a receiver.
You want to try and trick, trick the defender and deceive the defender as much as possible.
But, um, that's pretty much it will break you down the wide receiver position.
Let's take a look here at some film.
We're gonna take a look now at some film here regarding a beautiful, beautiful go go route.
Probably discover out here.
So we'll be looking at a Tyler Lockett and the wait just just just in the manner which he adjust.
He's just this pace.
Well, sure, you guys know where he adjusted space and he tracks the ball on a go route.
Let me just, uh, and start this clip here for you guys.
Holy shoot already.
Guys, this is Tyler Lockett.
NFL wide receiver Tyler Lockett.
He's on a go route.
Check this stuff out. This is good stuff.
Goetz, Goetz, Goetz separation.
So, actually, actually, easy is running home.
He's run a post.
Will's anticipates separation.
It gives locking chance to make the play.
He's gonna put it on Lee, where Locke is gonna be able to get a Wilson nose.
You don't, eh? That's my guy.
There's a chance that you could get out there and you get upfield to get it.
Here's lock it. Lock it. He's gonna just a space made route.
Stays underneath the ball.
Marla Humphries doesn't stand a chance because locket is just just tracking that ball.
Beautiful depth perception.
Here, check it out again.
Well, actually, take a look at that. One more time here.
Signaling that works.
What? On one second, guys.
Option O. B s the pain.
So just look at the way I look at the way lock.
So explosive at the beginning of his route.
He's having to fight that d be right away at the beginning, utilizing a hand, you know, to keep track of that. Devi.
Well, it's going like I said, corners, defensive backs they do not like when you're in their space.
They hate that. They hate that.
Look at what locket is doing.
He's all up in Marlon Humphrey.
It's a little bit underthrown.
So lock it, you know, he just he just he's received.
I could do that.
That would look at one more time from a different angle.
And that's just how you adjust.
That's just how it's done.
That's how it's done. The pros.
That's how it's done.
The pros leads a gentleman, so I mean, you know, I just want to come come to you guys live for a little bit.
Um, you know, I just just talk about some of the different things that I do.
Um, but I feel that that that makes me Ah, you know.
Ah, much better. Better player.
Um, better receiver. Cool.
What's good? Good old Pete.
What it do? What it do like hate him are so hot.
I mean, that's that's how I get down.
Let's hug it down.
Um, try some of those.
Some of those techniques whenever you are on the field yourself.
Um and, yeah, I'm going to get ready for six years.
Cab's gonna call that game for you.
Cheers to you all the rough boys and girls What it do? Deli Deli.
Thanks for joining y'all.
