00:00:04
Hello, everybody.
00:00:05
Welcome in the Lakers Nation postgame show breaking down the Lakers.
00:00:09
Well, unfortunately, they lost to the Toronto Raptors.
00:00:13
Tough one.
00:00:14
Lakers fall 1 13 to 104 We've got plenty to talk about.
00:00:17
We're gonna get into why the Lakers came up short in this one.
00:00:21
How the Raptor exploited some weaknesses that we've seen from the Lakers.
00:00:25
What went wrong with the offensive scheme, all kinds of things to discuss here in this one.
00:00:29
Joining me, as always, is jazz came Jazz Before I throw it to you real quick, I think the Lakers need a little more up time energy drink.
00:00:38
I love our sponsor up time, energy, drink.
00:00:40
They could have used that because certainly in that first that first what? 3/4? It felt like the Lakers were sleep walking through it like we've seen them doing a few games and you just can't do that against NBA.
00:00:51
Teams came back to burn them.
00:00:53
So my advice Right off the bat, be the Lakers need to get themselves over to G and C 7 11 or amazon dot com and pick up some up time energy drink jazz.
00:01:02
Are you with me? on that one.
00:01:04
Yes, Well, you know what I got that they look really good for the 1st 56 minutes, Their defense was on point.
00:01:10
They were They were dominating in terms of just gonna shut down the Raptors.
00:01:13
There's one play.
00:01:14
LeBron Avery Bradley, 80 all closed in that call to turn over by Fred Vanvleet.
00:01:17
And I was like, Okay, you know, they're gonna be They're gonna be able to tend to kind of take over this game, especially without Kyle Lowry and Serge Ibaka.
00:01:23
But it was interesting to see the Lakers ended up forcing five turnovers in the 1st 6 minutes.
00:01:28
The Raptors finished with 13 and I think the defensive intensity from that point on from midway through the first quarter, all the way through the end of the game was really lacks the days of planets.
00:01:37
It might be a good loss for the Lakers and the sense that it's a wake up call like you mentioned.
00:01:40
You can't just sleepwalk your way through this league and against a team like Toronto who might not be a championship contender, and it's a playoff team.
00:01:47
But you know you're not gonna get away with playing 12 minutes of good basketball, right? Yeah, they can't do that.
00:01:53
You can do that against some teams and we've seen them pull it off.
00:01:56
But you mentioned might be a good law, so let's talk a little bit about that.
00:02:00
How could this actually help the Lakers moving forward? I mean, obviously losing games, Not a positive, but how could they turn it into one? Well, I think you have to eat.
00:02:07
You think you have to look at some of the points where you're getting a weakness.
00:02:10
I like the fact I know it's kind of funny that he happened to not play as much.
00:02:14
But continues Caldwell.
00:02:15
Pope played four minutes today.
00:02:16
He was It was terrible when he was on, so he didn't get back on the court.
00:02:19
But I do think we've mentioned this before is well, I do think the team needs to beef up the bench and I think that that show today to ah you know, cause my looked okay, did miss a couple of big threes are at the end.
00:02:29
He did hit a couple of big threes.
00:02:30
I got the Lakers back with it, striking distance.
00:02:32
But Troy Daniels 11 points in the first half, zero in the second.
00:02:36
Dwight Howard been great all season, had an impact.
00:02:38
9.
00:02:39
6 boards. But not as much as we've seen.
00:02:41
So I think that some of the Lakers have to look at and offensively.
00:02:44
LeBron 5 15 He was great.
00:02:45
Facilitating the offense and and running things and finding other guys finished with 15 times.
00:02:50
But they need to get some war movement on the offense.
00:02:52
And, like Daddy Green over 50 points, you need other guys to step up.
00:02:55
Sometimes I do think this exploited a bit of the weakness of the Lakers have on the bench.
00:02:59
What do you taken from it? Yeah, I mean, I agree.
00:03:02
Obviously, the Lakers didn't really have This is the second game in a row that they haven't seen.
00:03:05
Somebody really stepped up, and I thought I thought it was gonna be Troy Daniels.
00:03:09
At first, it looked like he Oh, he knocked in a few big threes, but then kind of just faded.
00:03:13
After that, we saw 11 points from three of five from deep.
00:03:16
That's okay, but they need 1/3 guy.
00:03:18
Cal Cosma finished with 15 points, but he got absolutely torched by Pascal. See ya.
00:03:22
Come on.
00:03:23
The defensive, which don't look see how Kim is a tough cover.
00:03:25
There's no question there, but charisma was getting burned by him there.
00:03:29
There's no denying it, but six of 13 shooting, three of seven from coos, 24 minutes.
00:03:33
We know he doesn't have a minute's limitation anymore, so I thought that maybe somebody else would step up and we just didn't see that time.
00:03:40
We didn't see that third guy, and we didn't see it last game, either.
00:03:42
So it's really critical for this Lakers team that someone else steps up.
00:03:46
Like you said, LeBron James had it off nights, and I and it just nobody else could really fill that void.
00:03:51
And so that's where someone, some other role player the Lakers have brought in has got to be able to step up and make some plays.
00:03:57
Yeah, and the Raptors tighten things up defensively and especially going that 23 zone they were there.
00:04:02
I mean, the Lakers were able to kill it early in the first quarter.
00:04:04
They did it again a bit in the third and the Lakers had had some issues with it.
00:04:07
And you look at it just by the numbers at 60 points in the first half, 44 in the second half.
00:04:12
And I think a lot of that came from a little bit of standing around too much on the offensive and you're not.
00:04:17
They weren't creating as much.
00:04:19
LeBron did a good job of, like I said, running the offense and getting guys open looks.
00:04:23
But other than you know, Anthony Davis, who really had it going today, and General McGee look like a world beater the 1st 1st quarter there he was dominated.
00:04:30
Well, nobody really brought it.
00:04:31
Like I said, Troy Daniels said that stretch.
00:04:32
So you know what? I don't think again.
00:04:34
I'm not gonna.
00:04:35
I'm not gonna sit here and and stress over loss in November.
00:04:37
You're still sitting at 7 to 9 games in, so they're obviously doing something right.
00:04:41
But it might be like I said, it's a good loss in the sense that we can't sleep, walk our way through 3/4 and try and turn it on every time.
00:04:48
It's not gonna work night in the night.
00:04:49
Yeah, you know, it's something where hopefully this will be a wake up call where they realize, Hey, we have to match the intensity because what happened was they gave a Raptor team that's hurting their missing kind.
00:04:58
Lowry. They're missing Serge Ibaka.
00:05:00
They've got some injury issues and you took This happens sometimes.
00:05:03
This is that this theory that I have when you lose a key player, you're gonna hurt over the long term.
00:05:09
But there's a short term burst where other guys step up.
00:05:12
And then once teams are used to play against those guys, then you can see the difference in quality.
00:05:16
But for a game, sometimes two games, you actually get like, this quick little uptick in performance from guys that you don't expect it from.
00:05:23
So it was Chris.
00:05:24
Chris Boucher looked like Bobby Boucher.
00:05:27
It was he was all over the place, blocking shots.
00:05:30
I think that we saw that affect a little bit for the Raptors, but we saw the Lakers give this team life.
00:05:34
We saw them give them an opportunity to go into Staples Center and steal a win.
00:05:37
And this is something you and I talked about off the air was the This could be even more damaging than just a loss because the Raptor play the Clippers tomorrow night.
00:05:47
Yeah.
00:05:48
Why couldn't the Lakers I've gotten the Raptors on the second night of the back to back of the repairs.
00:05:52
We just watched the Raptor empty their tanks.
00:05:54
They just threw everything they had into getting a win.
00:05:58
Tonight they burned Pascal.
00:05:59
See, how come 42 minutes.
00:06:01
So I would be very surprised if the Raptor put up a solid fight against the Clippers tomorrow night on the second night of a back to back.
00:06:07
I'd have to imagine that what's essentially happened is that the Lakers not only gave the Raptor enough life for them to steal a win here, but they've also inadvertently pushed a win onto the Clippers record because now the Clippers get to play an exhausted Raptor team.
00:06:20
Yeah, exactly.
00:06:21
And it is a bit of a double whammy like that.
00:06:23
I mean, once I looked at it and I know the Raptors, I mean, seeing them play a lot, obviously last year and and through the playoffs because they were getting more opportunities with Kawai, they're still a very deep team.
00:06:33
I mean, even with without, you know, quite letter, did you take off Serge, Ibaka and Kyle every like you mentioned.
00:06:38
And so, you know, you know, I looked at it almost like Okay, the liquor should be, will take care of business here, But yeah, you're basically dropping an extra game to the Clippers.
00:06:45
Which means the next time the Lakers play the Clippers and agent that much more important that they get a dog in that one.
00:06:50
Absolutely, absolutely again.
00:06:51
They mean, look, Doc Rivers should be calling up Frank Vogel right now and thanking him because because they just did them a huge favor, which is absolutely 100% what you do not want to D'oh! You don't want to do the Clippers any favors at all.
00:07:05
In fact, maybe they should go mess with their locker room or something like that, turned the heat way up or something just to try to even the hard Syria or that game tomorrow night.
00:07:13
I'm getting all kinds of comments coming in.
00:07:15
A lot of people blaming Calcutta.
00:07:17
I've got one guy here.
00:07:18
Gavin Look, Laurie, uh, Kuzma shoots more whacked than his hair, but he should cut both out.
00:07:27
So he's blaming Kyle Cruise was hair in a way for the poor for poor performance.
00:07:31
A lot of people not very happy with Kyle Kuzma saw that a bunch on Twitter, seeing a lot in our live chat right now, people not thrilled with what they saw from him.
00:07:39
Is this still kinda Koosman knocking off the rust? I mean, should he still have a little bit of leeway here, given that he's only been back for a few games? Yeah, Like I said, uh, this is still happening by the end of November and he's having some of those shots and I think he can help himself by not taking the poor having the poor shot selection.
00:07:55
Sometimes I'm like, What are you doing? Why, why you just four point? But But he's forced me.
00:07:59
And so I think that's an in***bent getting comfortable and and get your flow back and kind of your fuel back for the game.
00:08:05
So, like I said, I'm not gonna sit here and worry about it, too, too much at this point.
00:08:08
If if it's still happening next week in the following week and you're looking at the end of November, you know after Thanksgiving and you still kind of struggling at that point.
00:08:15
I'm gonna be concerned because we've talked about this and we talked about a lot leading up to the season.
00:08:19
Once we found out Boogie was gone, was how important Kyle Kuzma is to this team because they need that third guy to be able to contribute some points.
00:08:25
And you're seeing that with him right now, The important level and, you know, against Chicago, he helped turn that thing around help win that game.
00:08:32
And today, like I said, he had those two to get them back within four.
00:08:34
Then he missed, you know, a big one there, a couple of big ones there.
00:08:37
So it's gonna be hit or miss for a while.
00:08:39
But I'm not too concerned about it right now, are you? I'm not.
00:08:42
And I'll tell you why.
00:08:44
So this is no six games that we've seen.
00:08:47
Ah, no.
00:08:48
Five games that we've seen of Kyle Kuzma.
00:08:49
So he's been back for five games.
00:08:50
He's been back for a week and 1/2 a week and 1/2 and this guy basically trained since the end of August mid August.
00:08:58
Really? He hasn't able to train since then.
00:09:00
So you've got two months three months, almost of where he couldn't really play.
00:09:05
Couldn't really get out on the basketball court.
00:09:07
That means you're talking about his cardio being impacted by that.
00:09:09
Not to mention the shooting, the rhythm, the timing, everything being thrown off.
00:09:14
Think facto Lonzo ball last year and think about the first few months he had of his season.
00:09:18
He spent a lot of the summer rehabbing, and then he couldn't play, and it took him something some time to get up to speed.
00:09:24
And so by December ish January, he really started going.
00:09:28
And then we started to see the true quality from him.
00:09:30
I think we're going to see the same from Kyle Cruise, but because, unfortunately, he went to play for Team USA, and unfortunately he got hurt while he was there, and then he wasn't able to train for most of the off season.
00:09:39
So I'm not surprised that this is what we're seeing from Cosmo right now, that he's got these struggles because he's just now playing basketball again for the first time in a while.
00:09:48
I think that as frustrated people are with him, I think he's a better player than this, and I think But unfortunately we're not going to see the better Kyle Kuzma for at least a few more weeks, if not a month or more.
00:10:00
Yeah, and that's just the reality of the situation.
00:10:03
I agree with you on that, too.
00:10:04
I mean, it's the only part.
00:10:06
I mean, I did like I said a point.
00:10:07
I was getting frustrated with some of these shots.
00:10:09
Election.
00:10:10
I think a lot of people are that he's forcing it through the three. The three ball.
00:10:13
You know what? I'm not helping things with defensively defensively.
00:10:17
Yeah, he got torched by see Aquaman, would you? Discovering him today to use, like a turnstile there.
00:10:21
But I'm sorry, Jess, but did you see the dinners? The Raptors were hunting out that matter.
00:10:27
They were forcing.
00:10:28
They were having cousins.
00:10:29
Mango.
00:10:30
The Lakers switched a lot more than we've seen tonight in recent weeks.
00:10:33
They were switching a ton and the Raptors were hunting out that matchup.
00:10:36
They were making Kosmas man go screen for shock.
00:10:39
Um, so they could get Cu's back onto him once they saw How about the huge beyond does? That's how ugly it was getting with Koosman.
00:10:45
Sockem? Yeah, and accuses not not a great defender by any means, never really has been so I mean, give Toronto some credit for taking advantage of that in Seattle.
00:10:55
Didn't shoot that great.
00:10:56
But I mean, he was creating a lot in terms of a lot of people have to come over and help, and then they were getting some offensive rebounds out of that, too, And some easy looks from the three point line.
00:11:04
But like you mentioned with Koosman and this is this thing is it's been a lack of consistency the whole time, right? I think he has the right mentality.
00:11:11
I think he has a skill set, but when you look at some of the shots like again Chicago, he was struggling early.
00:11:15
Then he started going to the rim.
00:11:17
He was getting some good looks, you know, getting to the hoop and getting some lay off.
00:11:20
Some of them were contested, but then he started getting a rhythm and then his shot was going.
00:11:23
But right now it's like your first shot in the game.
00:11:26
You're shooting it from three feet behind the three point line and expecting it to go in.
00:11:29
That's not gonna work, so I think he can help himself.
00:11:31
But again, I don't know if that's rust or it's it's, ah, part of, you know, maybe this just days.
00:11:35
How about which I don't think it is, but I think it'll take some time.
00:11:38
T figure that all.
00:11:39
Oh, yeah, I do think it's going to take time for him to get that going.
00:11:42
And look.
00:11:43
It's a different Lakers team, and he hasn't been out there gaining the improving the rhythm or anything like that doesn't give me the feel for the game with this squad.
00:11:50
So again, it's going to take time for Cow Cosmo.
00:11:53
It's something that's that's not just gonna come overnight or anything like that.
00:11:57
Getting all kinds of people saying Malcolm is bigger than Kuzma.
00:12:01
Yeah, he's also extremely long.
00:12:02
That's really, really difficult.
00:12:04
Ah, Raptor of chap champs for a reason.
00:12:07
Yeah, I mean, credit to the Raptors.
00:12:09
They came out and played hard.
00:12:10
They took it to the Lakers and they they made them pay the price for not coming in focus.
00:12:15
You could see that they just weren't.
00:12:16
It was like they got going to the very beginning and then not okay.
00:12:19
Smooth sailing from here and just took their foot off the gas pedal.
00:12:22
Can't do that in the n b A.
00:12:24
Kevin Negandhi said.
00:12:26
I can't believe Danny Green didn't score a point.
00:12:29
It goes back to what we're talking about.
00:12:30
What's going on there.
00:12:31
Danny Green? Not even a point against this for Where's the revenge game? Danny Green? Although I guess he's really the one that left.
00:12:37
They didn't trade him or anything, but still Come on, Dana.
00:12:41
Well, you know with him and you saw this lot with Toronto last year.
00:12:45
He was successful because the offense kind of ran through a system who's basically collide, isolations a lot of the playoffs.
00:12:52
That's what you're seeing.
00:12:53
And then what it was happening through that he was able to get those open threes in the corner right now.
00:12:57
Teams working on Danny Green and they're trying to make sure that they're not leaving him open in the corner.
00:13:01
Because, let's be honest.
00:13:02
The Lakers don't have a lot of shooting out there, especially when, when they're starting the game right like they don't have any debt.
00:13:07
I three point guys other than Danny Green sometimes hit Whoever's guarding them isn't helping off in there, making under staying close, and they're running him off the three point line in.
00:13:15
He's not a guy who's going to get to the rim and do some great acrobatic moves to get a lay up.
00:13:19
His bread and butter is his jump shot.
00:13:20
So he's getting chased off the line so that some Frank Vogel is gonna have to figure out whether that setting some screens down low in the corner to get him up towards the wing or that's Ah, that's gonna using him to pick and roll scenario where he's the one setting the screen and try to roll up and try and get a three.
00:13:34
Because right now he hasn't looked great other than game number one against the Clippers.
00:13:38
Yeah, that's true.
00:13:39
He hasn't uh, well, I've seen him make some nice, but he's had some offensive games.
00:13:43
Some games were shooting like shooting one.
00:13:46
Sure.
00:13:47
Yeah, Danny didn't look, didn't look great tonight.
00:13:49
I did like, though Frank Vogel pivoting and going away from KCP.
00:13:53
It didn't work out.
00:13:54
Obviously.
00:13:55
In the end, they didn't win. And so I hope that doesn't flip.
00:13:57
Flop has become Hey, we didn't go to KCP and we lost.
00:14:00
I don't think those two things are related.
00:14:02
I don't think like a surgeon.
00:14:03
KCP makes you win the game, but I like vocal.
00:14:06
Finally.
00:14:07
Look, he said KCP over to Didn't look good.
00:14:11
Bo yanked him, finally said, OK, enough is enough until you can prove you deserve minutes.
00:14:16
Take a seat right over here and we didn't see him again.
00:14:18
He played a total of four minutes on the night.
00:14:21
Again.
00:14:22
I think KCP can provide something for the team.
00:14:24
But if he's not doing it, I think Vogel made the right call there.
00:14:27
Yeah, he did.
00:14:28
I mean, it was good to see that actually tweeted that out, too.
00:14:30
It's like it was nice to see Frank will make a change to the rotation, like All right, Casey, he's not getting it done tonight, So I'm gonna go.
00:14:35
I'm gonna go with some other guys, and I think a lot of that have to do with how well Troy Daniels was shooting in the first half.
00:14:40
But I hope you like you said they don't make the correlation between look, a CPI only played four minutes and we lost.
00:14:45
That means we're going to see a lot more, in case you see, but the case can be made.
00:14:48
Look what happened.
00:14:49
I mean, you didn't get much on the court.
00:14:51
And again, if you're not doing anything out there in your kind of useless at that point, you're not scoring.
00:14:55
Your defense isn't great.
00:14:56
You're not gonna be out there.
00:14:57
And I like the fact that Caruso is getting some more burned because better defensively.
00:15:01
Uh, okay, Supes defensive rating hasn't been too bad.
00:15:04
So interesting call for Frank Vogel.
00:15:05
And again, I'm gonna reiterate this.
00:15:07
Please find a way to get Andre Iguodala in the permanent job.
00:15:11
Remember? Because he will mask a lot of these deficiencies that we're seeing from the bench right now.
00:15:15
Yeah, they need another wing defender.
00:15:17
There's there's no question, no doubt in my mind, they need a wing defender.
00:15:20
You could say maybe they need another point guard to They need some adults.
00:15:22
We can handle the ball, but they need a wing defender.
00:15:25
Andre Iguodala would go a long way towards solving.
00:15:27
That would be great if they could get him him in there.
00:15:30
So we've got what was an uneven performance from the Lakers Unfortunately, I've got a lot of people in the chat here.
00:15:38
Uh, not pleased with the bronze effort.
00:15:40
Did you notice that that LeBron wasn't going full bore even though he got a triple double, 15 assists, 13 boards, 13 points, 5 15 shooting.
00:15:48
Did you feel like it was a kind of lackadaisical effort from LBJ? I don't think it was a lackadaisical after I think sometimes you're not gonna have it going offensively.
00:15:56
So he did what he had to do to get the rest of the guys involved.
00:15:59
I did, like from LeBron that he was trying to get to the hoop only took 23 pointers today.
00:16:02
He was trying to get to the hoop a lot.
00:16:03
But man, that Toronto help defense.
00:16:05
And those guys are long and ranging and athletic, and they're everywhere around the rim.
00:16:09
So he's having a tough time.
00:16:10
I don't know if it's if it's an effort thing or ah, it was just an off night for him.
00:16:15
But, I mean, I'm gonna give him the benefit of the doubt because he's been so good this season, anyway.
00:16:19
Yeah, that's just it.
00:16:20
It looked LeBron 34.
00:16:22
You're going to if he has an off night, and I think this is really his first off night of the season, and I'm gonna give him a pass on that, right? I mean, look, you have been so, so good.
00:16:31
You can't just go.
00:16:32
He had one game.
00:16:33
This guy's falling.
00:16:34
He's terrible.
00:16:35
Now forget it.
00:16:36
Why do we even have LeBron? You know, like it was one bad game and it was He had a triple double, right? He did some really good things out there on the floor.
00:16:43
Maybe his energy was a little bit lacking in some areas, but again, it's one game you can't get, madam.
00:16:51
And you know, and you know, even here's the other thing with LeBron to watching him run that offense in the first quarter.
00:16:55
And until he took arrest, it was a thing of beauty.
00:16:57
Like the way he was spreading the ball around and just had complete control of that game.
00:17:02
You know what I mean? In terms of offensive and the Lakers started off pretty pretty **** well during that during that run.
00:17:06
So I don't know if I get if it was a lack of effort, sometimes you're not gonna be great at shooting. He was five for 15.
00:17:11
Uh, again, we're sitting here talking like the Lakers played terrible.
00:17:16
I don't know.
00:17:17
I just think Toronto played.
00:17:18
That's what we the best Toronto could play in this situation without Kyle Aryan and surgery, and everything was going for them.
00:17:23
So I think you got to give them some credit, too.
00:17:25
Rhonda Hellas Jefferson was hitting turnaround jumpers.
00:17:28
I mean, there's not much more you can.
00:17:30
You can say that, right? There's just there's nights where the opponent is gonna hit some tough shots.
00:17:35
They're gonna make plays and you don't.
00:17:37
And that's just that's the way basketball goes back.
00:17:39
LeBron had his patented drive down the left side into a step back along the baseline there, which he made it like nine times out of 10 and it rained out like they felt like the Lakers had a number of shots in the fourth quarter.
00:17:50
Just go in and out.
00:17:51
They couldn't get things to drop, and that's just that's basketball, that Zach.
00:17:55
Sometimes I will say this, though.
00:17:57
The Raptor had a great game plan because the Lakersfirst goods their defense has been that may I don't know where they are now, but they were first in defensive rating in the n b a.
00:18:06
Where they've struggled actually is in their transition defense.
00:18:08
They were near the bottom of the league in transition defense.
00:18:11
Their half court defense has been tremendous, but in transition, teams have been beating them because they're a little bit slow to get back.
00:18:17
And so the Raptors, you could see their game plan was try to force turnovers and then get out.
00:18:21
Get out as fast as you can before the Lakers defense can get set.
00:18:24
And they were extremely successful doing that.
00:18:27
So credit to the Raptors.
00:18:28
Obviously, they scouted ahead.
00:18:29
Obviously, they looked at the stats and they saw where the Lakers are weak and they exploited it.
00:18:34
Yeah, and and now it's on the Lakers to to adjust that and just like you're gonna have to now, No, you have to put in kind of a zone offense and work on that because teams, if they're having a little bit of success on it, are gonna keep running that against you.
00:18:45
And so it's up to Frank Vogel now, this is the first time really other than Game one, obviously that the team has been tested and tried to this point like you mentioned on we've talked about this a little bit on the post game shows beforehand is well, the Lakers are very much built like a nineties team early 2000 Steam think what they want to kind of slow the game down, take advantage of you and 1/2 court, take advantage of mismatches and try and swarm you defensively and 1/2 court if you don't let your defense.
00:19:09
If you don't let their defense set up and try and get some of these vices are older running up and down the court all game.
00:19:14
It's gonna be tough on their legs Are gonna be a little bit more warning Come time for the fourth quarter.
00:19:18
Yeah, yeah, exactly.
00:19:19
It's going to take, uh, it's gonna take a little bit of a different scheme here from the Lakers in order to fix these transition defense issues.
00:19:26
But again, I don't want to lose sight of this if they've lost two games this season, it's evident that Z like if you were to tell me nine games into the season, the Lakers were gonna win seven up um, like, before the season started, I think I would have been pretty happy with that.
00:19:42
Right.
00:19:43
Why wouldn't we all have just said Great? That's fantastic.
00:19:46
Yeah, you've been You wouldn t s so happy with the seven.
00:19:48
And to start, I think that's the thing.
00:19:50
Sometimes we're people lose perspective on it.
00:19:52
No, LeBron is not a bad player is not washed because he had one off shooting night.
00:19:56
Um, you know, Danny Green isn't terrible because he didn't have a point tonight.
00:20:00
It's just the way that things were gonna go over and 82 game schedule.
00:20:03
And don't be surprised the Lakers might lose to a bottom rung team at some point during the season, too. It just happens.
00:20:08
It's possible you're not gonna go 82.
00:20:10
Unfortunately, contrary to popular belief, I thought for sure they were going 81.
00:20:15
No, but but it's not gonna happen.
00:20:17
Unfortunately, that didn't happen.
00:20:20
Leave Jackson seven into, and I can't be more proud.
00:20:23
Yeah, look there then.
00:20:25
They've been playing well over all right, and they probably stole a few games that they shouldn't have won.
00:20:30
This is a game I thought they should have won.
00:20:32
And they found a way to lose it and again credit to the Raptors for going out there and doing what they needed you to take it from them.
00:20:38
But now the Lakers needed to fix things.
00:20:40
They need to regroup and get back on track, and that's that's the way the game goes.
00:20:43
That's the way this league goes.
00:20:45
You lose a game, you've got to go figure out what you need to do better next time and then get out there and get back after it and that. And that's the thing.
00:20:52
You know what? The plane they're playing on Tuesday we're coming into the season.
00:20:55
We're all probably looking at it like Okay, circle that one is right for the game on Tuesday against Phoenix.
00:21:00
Phoenix, off to a great start.
00:21:01
Said that Jackson three.
00:21:02
So they're gonna have a game where they're going to come out and they hate you.
00:21:05
Know what? We can't sit here and play 12 to 18 minutes of really good basketball.
00:21:09
We're gonna try and up to keep up with these young boys and run up and down the court which Phoenix will try and do so like a similar type of game plan for the Suns on Tuesday, and we'll see what the Lakers team is made of in terms of coming off a loss against a pretty pretty good to turn a Raptor teams still without even those two guys.
00:21:24
I still think this is a play off team even without Ibaka and yeah, yeah, for sure.
00:21:29
The Raptors are a solid team, even without those guys.
00:21:31
In fact, every you know last year of his contract, he hasn't been great. Fred Friendly.
00:21:36
Them bleed has been the better of the two guards anyway.
00:21:38
I'm not that they didn't miss him.
00:21:39
I think they certainly did.
00:21:41
UH, Bruce Chang from Facebook.
00:21:43
The poor three point shooting is a cause for concern.
00:21:45
We didn't get 4 to 5 shooters in the off season to be the bottom of the league in threes.
00:21:49
He had 33% tonight from deep.
00:21:53
How worried you are you, at this 0.
00:21:54
9 games into the season that the Lakers aren't a better three point shooting team? I'm not worried that they don't have.
00:22:00
I'm not over like, totally worried at this point.
00:22:02
I'm concerned about the fact that they get it's a lack of consistency because sometimes these guys, they're hitting shots.
00:22:07
We've seen Quinn Cook do it.
00:22:08
We seen Troy Daniels do it twice now, right? Other than that, he's been he's been terrible.
00:22:12
Let's go.
00:22:13
It's called a spade a spade from the three point line, other than this game and against Utah.
00:22:16
So you want these guys to be able to do it consistently.
00:22:19
And then again, that's where I got like a poodle.
00:22:21
Oh, he's not that great.
00:22:22
A CZ three point shooters he once was.
00:22:23
Was it forever that great? But, I mean, he helps that out in terms of being consistent and a threat out there.
00:22:27
So I do think it's gonna be a worry that they're gonna have to look at.
00:22:31
I mean there.
00:22:32
I think there were 27 coming into this game.
00:22:33
I know that.
00:22:34
I don't know what they what they fall into now, but 10 of 30 where again? One or two of those threes go then.
00:22:38
And this is a different game at the end. Yeah, absolutely.
00:22:41
You get a few of those to drop.
00:22:42
I mean, they were right there.
00:22:43
They got to within four points, but then they couldn't sustain it couldn't get it going.
00:22:47
But I'm a little bit worried.
00:22:49
I'm not gonna I'm not gonna lie.
00:22:50
I'm a little bit worried just because again that the big push this off season was to add shooting hasn't shown up yet.
00:22:56
Way just haven't I mean Danny Green over four.
00:22:59
Avery Bradley. One of four. Koosman.
00:23:01
Three of seven.
00:23:02
I'll take that Troy Daniels three or five.
00:23:04
That's find over one from K C P over one from Caruso just on the night.
00:23:08
LeBron James over to.
00:23:10
They have to hit threes at a higher rate.
00:23:12
They just do if they're going to really capitalize on their on their talented.
00:23:15
I'm not saying it's not going to happen because I believe these guys are better three point shooters than what we've seen, but they've got to start dropping at some point.
00:23:23
I'm hoping that comes sooner rather than later, because with each game that they're not above average and 35% is about league average from three each game that they're below that, you're gonna worry a little bit more in a little bit more.
00:23:35
That's the reality of the new N B A.
00:23:37
You have to be able to hit Thanos three pointers every night because, I mean, that's what the ****ytics are showing is a better shot than in the mid range.
00:23:44
Don't tell Avery badly that you love that jumper, but he does when you look at it.
00:23:49
Who out of the quote unquote shooters? Are you? Are you kind of most disappointed in them? Um, you know it Probably I got to go in and look at their percentages, but there's nobody that really stands out where I'm like.
00:24:01
Gosh, I'm glad they got that guy for his shooting.
00:24:05
You know that.
00:24:06
It's not like I'm looking at anybody thinking, man, that was a That was a really good addition.
00:24:09
At this point, I just and I'm trying to pull up the three point percentage is right now, but, uh, hey, Jared Dudley is 100% from three.
00:24:18
He hasn't taken any.
00:24:20
Uh, yeah, just overall.
00:24:22
I haven't been that impressed.
00:24:23
Well, Quinn cook 30%.
00:24:25
He's better in that he's a 40% shooter.
00:24:27
First career.
00:24:28
Troy Daniels, 27%.
00:24:29
That's not gonna get even.
00:24:31
Anthony Davis, 25%.
00:24:32
He was, like 30% Asian.
00:24:34
Last season, KCP 25% Caruso. 25%.
00:24:38
These guys are these guys all shot better in that last season? All of them? Yeah, I think.
00:24:43
But I think some of that is the scheme.
00:24:45
The Lakers are running as well. They're not getting.
00:24:47
You don't get a ton of open looks from from three to some of them.
00:24:50
They're contested or they got their getting.
00:24:51
Nobody's running out with the hand up, but they should be getting over that.
00:24:55
They should be getting more open looks.
00:24:56
And I think that's the thing when they're the only the only concern I have.
00:24:59
Really.
00:25:00
The main concern I have about the offense is when they're getting it into Anthony Davis.
00:25:03
And I did see some movement again today.
00:25:05
It's a little bit slow getting getting guys moving around.
00:25:07
I don't know if you got Adam, you wrinkled in there that set it down screen on the weak side.
00:25:10
Did you bring that guy up to the top of the key or just our top of the three point line? Just something to get some movement that might be able to get some more open shots because, like you mentioned it, Yes, LeBron James Entertainment able to get to the hole and you gotta guys posting up in the corner, you should be able to get more open looks and they should be hitting them at a higher rate too, right? I mean, that's that's been the game time with LeBron.
00:25:27
The whole time is sticks and stick four shooters around him and let him go to work.
00:25:30
Obviously rugged.
00:25:31
Anthony D was involved, too.
00:25:32
So somewhere along the line, I'm hoping this this problem corrects itself and they start getting out about the league average.
00:25:37
If not again, you're gonna have to look at the bio market.
00:25:39
Or maybe a get creative with the trade to get in somebody else. It could hit some threes.
00:25:43
Yeah, I still I still think it is going to fix itself Will be a positive regression.
00:25:47
And again, once they do do have that positive regression to the mean This Lakers team is gonna be really, really difficult to stop once they start to get these three following.
00:25:55
I mean, look, if they had shot again average from three this game, this is a totally different ball game down the stretch, So yeah, that's pretty crazy.
00:26:02
Um so frank Vogel.
00:26:04
I've had a few people asking about Rajon Rondo.
00:26:07
Frank Vogel just said Hopefully soon, um, with Rondo's return.
00:26:12
But Rondo has been on hopefully soon for like feels a couple weeks now.
00:26:17
It's like this.
00:26:18
Last year you might play like opening night, and then no.
00:26:21
And then it was like, OK, the 1st 3 games he was going to be out, and then it just keeps getting pushed back, like what's really going on? It feels there's a couple of weird things going on, like what's really going on with Rondo and what's really happening with Anthony Davis's shoulder like that.
00:26:35
I'm a little worried about that, too.
00:26:36
We're seeing him in pain, grimacing every time he has to extend with that arm like what's really happening there.
00:26:43
I'm a little concerned on both those fronts about what we're Maybe we're not getting everything that we should be from the Lakers.
00:26:49
Yeah, maybe, Maybe not.
00:26:50
I wonder if it's just a lingering thing for for, um, Davis, that it's not a structural issue or anything.
00:26:56
It just you know, he's getting some pains and and whatever it is, it something that will work itself out.
00:27:00
But I mean, it doesn't look like it's affecting him totally.
00:27:02
But I mean, you can tell he's grimacing and uncomfortable, but with Rondo Yeah, I mean, it was a calf strain, and he's been slow to come back.
00:27:09
But when he when he does, who's minutes? Do you think he takes? If anyone? Well, it's not Casey Peas minutes now.
00:27:17
Yeah, well, I guess he can have those four.
00:27:20
Yeah, There you go.
00:27:21
Um, no.
00:27:22
I think that they're going to cut into either Troy Daniels or Quinn Cook.
00:27:24
Now from there, I think you have to.
00:27:27
I think that's the only thing that makes any sense.
00:27:29
I don't think it's Alex Caruso because I think he's been so good on the defensive end.
00:27:32
I think you have to keep him out there.
00:27:34
Um, obviously, if he's not scoring on the offensive end, then you can plug it some other pieces.
00:27:38
But, yeah, I think it's going to be one of Troy Daniels or Quinn Cook.
00:27:42
I think one of those guys is gonna wind up seeing their minutes cuts.
00:27:44
Maybe both of them, Troy Daniels, is averaging 15 minutes.
00:27:48
Right now, it's 16.8 for Cook.
00:27:50
In addition to whatever KCP was getting.
00:27:51
And I think that's gonna be your bench lineup.
00:27:54
It's gonna be Rondo with Caruso out there in the backcourt.
00:27:58
Is that too small, though? Would you Would you want to go with that, though? I mean, if you're a match up against bigger teams, I don't know if you could go with that, too, because Rondo is gonna get killed on the defensive, and we know that that's the metrics had told us for.
00:28:07
Oh, yeah, for a while now, Crusoe.
00:28:09
At least as balance that out, it'll be interesting to see how the how Frank Vogel handles of rotation.
00:28:14
Well, Crusoe, 65 So I'm okay with him being out there, and I know he's a plus defender.
00:28:19
Mean Troy Daniels and +64 Quinn Cook is six to maybe so.
00:28:24
That that's that's even smaller, right? If you if you have that grouping out there.
00:28:28
So, yeah, I mean, definitely there's concern with Rondo on the offensive end, but I think it's pretty clear he's going to get an opportunity to try to revamp the second unit and kind of run the show there.
00:28:38
And so, with that being the case, if Rondo is definitely getting minutes, I think, Cruz says The guy that I went out there next to him, Yeah, okay, that I would go with that just on the defensive.
00:28:46
Defensive learning as well.
00:28:49
Um, let's see.
00:28:50
Got a few people coming in here.
00:28:52
A few people asking about Anthony Davis.
00:28:54
His shoulder? Yeah, that's been a problem.
00:28:57
A c on YouTube.
00:28:59
Why not go to the rim and get fouled? Yeah.
00:29:01
The Lakers have not been drawing fouls at a very high level the last few games.
00:29:05
It's become a little bit strange because they shot a town a free.
00:29:08
I mean, look how many free throws did 80 shoot against Memphis.
00:29:11
It was like 28 27 something like that.
00:29:14
In the 26 or 27 I believe.
00:29:16
Yeah, and now here he is tonight.
00:29:18
Six free throws.
00:29:19
LeBron James.
00:29:20
Six free throws, 19 free throws on the night.
00:29:22
It feels like the Lakers were drawing a lot more fouls earlier in the season.
00:29:25
What do you attribute? This gonna drop off in free throw attempts to again? I just think it's the the offenses.
00:29:33
They're not getting a lot of movement where you're getting the penetration.
00:29:35
LeBron's getting penetration from the top.
00:29:37
I mean, he's doing that at will.
00:29:38
The guy's a bulldozing machine.
00:29:40
It's easy for him to do it.
00:29:41
But a lot of those other guys, you got to be able to get to the rim, and then the foul has happened.
00:29:45
Where the guys coming, he beats the defender, dishes it down low and somebody comes over to help.
00:29:49
They're too slow or you're on a fast break in there.
00:29:51
Two on one of the guys get Paladin.
00:29:53
We mentioned that the Lakers play it a pretty, pretty slow pace overall, but I do think just a lack of of guys who can penetrate and get to get to the rim other than LeBron.
00:30:03
I think that's what you're gonna get with this team in terms of free throws.
00:30:05
What about you? Yeah, yeah, I think that's that's gonna be an issue.
00:30:08
They need to be, Ah, a little bit that they need a little bit.
00:30:11
We're cutting off the ball.
00:30:12
They need guys taking advantage of the defense, getting focused on the brawn and Anthony Davis, like you're saying Dinero 24 on YouTube said thoughts on trading KCP and Cook for Dion. Waiters.
00:30:25
Have you seen what's been going on with the one way to see what's in the news? Dion.
00:30:30
Waiters.
00:30:31
Did you ever worry about that? Hearing that later? We'll be OK, right? Yeah.
00:30:34
Well, you know, Mark works that the Lakers got ****y winning all these games.
00:30:40
Yeah, there was a bit of overconfidence they felt like, Okay, this is gonna play out, just like all the other games.
00:30:45
We can kind of Coast Coast Coast, and then flip the switch and everything will be fine.
00:30:49
Well, that's not That doesn't work all season long.
00:30:52
It doesn't work that way.
00:30:54
Um, see, Sanders, here we go.
00:30:58
Just Here's your question.
00:31:00
Crawford.
00:31:01
Hello? Sitting out there, Mellow sitting out there in the Lakers were signing guys like Jared Dudley.
00:31:06
We need to tighten up that bench.
00:31:07
Too many loose ends.
00:31:09
Uh, what do you do? You Do you even look at Jamal Crawford? I'm assuming we don't look at Carmelo Anthony or anything like that.
00:31:16
Realizing that you'd have to cut somebody in order to bring anybody in. Yeah.
00:31:20
I mean, you know what? Jamal Crawford? Obviously old, but he's a scorer, and he just brings I don't even.
00:31:25
I don't think you should be able to do it consistently or anything at this point, Um, just given his age.
00:31:31
But, I mean, he's a guy who has the capability to come off the come off the bench and score 20 points in a given night.
00:31:36
And there's no other than maybe Kuzma.
00:31:38
I don't see anybody else on the Lakers that that has that capability.
00:31:41
I think, to put up that many points put, um, you know, I don't know.
00:31:44
It's just something that we we knew before the season, that this might be an issue.
00:31:49
I just think you're going to see it.
00:31:50
Being issue against tough critique is more often.
00:31:53
I don't think it's gonna kill the Lakers at all.
00:31:55
I just think against tougher teams.
00:31:56
You're going to see this happen a few times. You're in the season.
00:31:59
Yeah, I agree.
00:32:00
They they got accustomed to being able to coast, and you can't do that against some of the better teams in the NBA.
00:32:08
Uh, a lot of people asking about Phoenix.
00:32:10
Okay, Phoenix coming up next Tuesday night, Lakers will be in Phoenix taking on a son's team that is much, much better than we thought they would be.
00:32:19
Let me tell you this.
00:32:20
Everybody's asking.
00:32:21
What do they need to d'oh? Number one thing is energy, because I can tell you this right now for the Phoenix Suns.
00:32:28
They're going to approach this game like it's the N B A Finals.
00:32:31
They're going to the entire city of Phoenix.
00:32:32
Is gonna they see the Lakers as their big rivals.
00:32:35
I know the Lakers don't see Phoenix that way.
00:32:38
Nobody in L. A is going.
00:32:39
Oh, we're so fired up to play the sons, I hope I hope we beat them.
00:32:43
No, no one cares about the sons all that much in L.
00:32:46
A.
00:32:47
The Sun's, though, care very much about the Lakers again.
00:32:49
They know this is a game that they will probably have more eyeballs on them than any other game this season.
00:32:55
No question.
00:32:56
They know that they're gonna have a lot of people watching them.
00:32:58
I'm expecting the sons to come out with a ton of energy to be playing like their lives on the line, and the Lakers were gonna have to match that tonight. They didn't.
00:33:06
So, first and foremost it's finding the energy.
00:33:09
That's what they're going to need in order to take out the sons elements, and that's the thing.
00:33:13
I mean, Phoenix is the eighth highest scoring team in the league and put up 114 point tonight about Devin Booker putting up 25 games, too.
00:33:19
So I think you're gonna see something very similar to what you saw today with the Raptor.
00:33:23
Now the sons are gonna watch this game and say, All right, let's push the pace against these guys.
00:33:27
Let's try and get them, you know, trying to defend us in transition, which Lakers did not do very well today.
00:33:32
And you mentioned the stats have shown that there have been good at that all season, so I think you can expect the sons to try and take advantage of that.
00:33:37
But again, if you have.
00:33:38
But if you have LeBron and Anthony daters, you're gonna be winning way more way more games than you lose.
00:33:43
So I think it'll be interesting to see how Phoenix tries to match up with, uh, with Anthony Davis demo with Aaron Baynes or were they trying to put on him? And I think that's gonna be Davis is time to go to work Well, Yeah.
00:33:53
Look, Aaron Baynes has been really, really good for the Suns filling in for DeAndre Jordan.
00:33:56
He's actually stepped out and hit some threes for them.
00:33:59
Kelly you Braid Jr has been phenomenal.
00:34:00
They've got the ranging wings that the Lakers don't really have, and so that talking about games where you could use Andre with all of this is one of them.
00:34:07
This is certainly a game where the wings that the sons have could give the Lakers some real trouble, and they could defend the point of attack now because they've got Rubio.
00:34:15
So the Suns are a better team that we saw last season.
00:34:19
There's no question there.
00:34:20
Devin Booker has been sort of unleashed because you've got Rubio now handling the ball and running the offense, and now Booker doesn't have to.
00:34:26
He can focus more on scoring, and so he's going to be a real challenge.
00:34:29
I'm assuming Danny Green will see minutes on him.
00:34:31
So well, Avery Bradley, they're gonna have to do what they can.
00:34:34
Can we just signed Corey Brewer for one game out there.
00:34:38
Let's sign Corey Brewer for one game and just stick him on Devin Booker if you remember from seasons past, Corey Brewer drove Devin Booker insane.
00:34:46
He was all over him every time the Lakers played the sun.
00:34:49
So yes, for one game holding, please sign for Grover and just throat.
00:34:53
Maybe not.
00:34:54
All you have to do is haven't go stand outside the son's locker locker room, right? I just have a different boat.
00:34:58
Just irritated.
00:34:59
Just getting, you know, I'm looking for I'm looking for that game and you said this a few times on the show.
00:35:06
Trevor to these teams are gonna throw their best that the Lakers.
00:35:09
And it's not the Lakers of last year.
00:35:10
It's not the Lakers of two years ago.
00:35:12
Three years ago, it's back to being the Lakers.
00:35:14
So everybody's looking forward to playing these guys.
00:35:16
And you're gonna get your best punch from them every single time you're playing.
00:35:19
Yep.
00:35:20
Yeah, and the sons were certainly gonna be fired up and ready to go against the Lakers here.
00:35:23
Um, yeah.
00:35:24
Look, I think it's gonna be a close game.
00:35:26
I really do.
00:35:27
I think it's gonna be a close one.
00:35:28
I think they've got to be ready for a fight.
00:35:30
I would love to see a blowout.
00:35:31
Lakers win, of course, but I think that if the Lakers were gonna have a real fight on their hands against the sons, especially trying to stop Devin Booker and you're absolutely right, the sun saw what the Raptor did.
00:35:41
They see what the stats have have been for the season.
00:35:43
They see that the way that you score on this team is in transition, not in the half court.
00:35:47
And I think they're going to do everything they can to push the pace and turn it into a track meet.
00:35:51
And we'll see if the Lakers can stop that.
00:35:53
If they can slow them down, you gotta have bring bring the defensive energy like they have for the 1st 6 minutes.
00:35:58
They're gonna bring it for the whole game this time, And that's the thing if they want to be able to keep up with the sons and try and shut them down.
00:36:03
And it's also mention it's a Monty Williams revenge game, right? So we'll see what happens with that Monty Williams revenge games.
00:36:09
So speaking of the sons, they actually beat the Brooklyn Nets tonight, 138 112.
00:36:15
They put up 138 points on somebody.
00:36:18
Yeah, that's that's It's insane.
00:36:20
Yeah, that shows Ah, pretty balanced to balanced offense in a balanced attack from from Phoenix.
00:36:26
But we saw that I had Jimmy Butler and Devon Book.
00:36:28
I think Booker's a little bit of a better score than Jimmy Butler, but we had that concerned with, uh, we had that concerned with with Miami coming in on Friday, that how you know, the Lakers were gonna able to keep up with the depth and the and the scoring, and they handle that just fine.
00:36:40
So I do think the Lakers should win a mark and I sit there and say, Well, this is going But I do think the Lakers should win.
00:36:45
I just think we know what the key is now coming into it.
00:36:47
Yeah, I'm looking at their stat line here.
00:36:49
Dario, Sorry it's you.
00:36:51
I don't think he could defend 80.
00:36:53
I think that's important to know Dario, Sarge, defending Andy, that's that's not gonna work out so well for the sons.
00:36:58
I don't think Kelly You Braid Junior had 18 points, Ricky Rubio had 22 on 10 of 16 shooting and he's not a good shooter.
00:37:05
He's torched the Lakers a few times, though, so I'm not butting against him for doing that again.
00:37:08
10 of 14 from Devin Booker.
00:37:11
10 of 14 Sufficient.
00:37:12
That's a game with nine assists.
00:37:15
Let me Let me look at this.
00:37:16
Here.
00:37:17
Do the sons play any games between now and what? No, they don't know.
00:37:20
So what I'm hoping is that they just fired off most of their most of their face, and they've got a bunch of Mrs still in the chamber so that they're not gonna burn about anybody else.
00:37:28
So when the Lakers come into town, hopefully they'll be firing up those Mrs that they didn't use up here against the Brooklyn Nets because they barely missed on the night as a team, they shot 53% from the field and 45% from three.
00:37:40
Yeah, that's tough to beat a team of the shooting like that, man.
00:37:43
Yeah, for sure for sure.
00:37:45
All right, guys, just any final comments for we, uh, before we call it a night here? No, I think this is This was ah, good loss in a way for the for the team.
00:37:53
But give me a wake up call in, Maybe show some of the deficiencies that they have in their game and they gotta work on.
00:37:57
But again, man, you're sitting at 7 to 9 games into the season.
00:38:01
Like you said.
00:38:02
If somebody asked you in September and said, How would you feel? If the Lakers started off seven and two, you'd be like, I'll take it in a heartbeat.
00:38:07
So I'm not gonna sit here and panic yet.
00:38:09
And I'm really looking for Tuesday night.
00:38:11
Yeah, definitely.
00:38:12
I'm looking forward to seeing how the Lakers performing.
00:38:14
It's the Sun's.
00:38:15
It's not going to be an easy game.
00:38:16
It's not just some get right game where they can go in and just stomp all over the Phoenix Suns like we thought it would be heading into the season.
00:38:22
But it will be a good test, and we'll see if they can match that.
00:38:24
That energy.
00:38:25
Maybe I'll have to pass some up time energy drinks over over a couple of boxes over to practice facility and make sure they get that before the game.
00:38:34
They could drink a bunch of those, then we'll just go out there and, uh, hopefully dominate all right.
00:38:39
Uh, that's gonna do it for today.
00:38:40
Thank you.
00:38:41

00:38:53
Great, great stuff, as always.
00:38:55
Of course, we wish that it was The Lakers win, but can't win them all.
00:38:58
Still have to be happy with the way the Lakers have started this season.
00:39:01
And again, my Jazz has been saying tonight, Hopefully this was a wake up call for them.
00:39:05
And, well, Seymour energy coming from them in the next game.

00:39:40
No.
00:39:41
They're gonna have a good luck charm there, so that's right.
00:39:42
You better come away with a W.
00:39:43
Otherwise, you're never allowed to attend Lakers again.
00:39:46
I will be there on, I'll be there.
00:39:48
I'll be in the locker room will be asking questions and and doing all those sorts of things for that game of If the WiFi in the arena was better, a talking stick resort arena was better.
00:39:58
I would just do a postgame show from there, but it is terrible.
00:40:02
It is so, so bad.
00:40:03
There's no way we could get a signal out of there.
00:40:05
So, unfortunately, we won't have a postgame show after the Suns game, but we will be back in action when the Lakers take on the Warriors on Wednesday evening.
00:40:14
All right, guys, that's actually going to do it.
00:40:16
Thanks everybody for joining us again.
00:40:17
Hopefully the Lakers get a win next game until then, so you

00:38:40
Thank you.
00:38:41
Everybody who joins us on the live chat, whether you were coming in on YouTube, on periscope, on Facebook live been reading all your questions, all of your comments.

00:38:49
Some of you guys maybe laugh a few times with the number of the things that you guys threw out here.
00:39:09
Guys, make sure you go follow jazz on Twitter at Jazz King 21.

00:39:32
We will be back next time, actually.
00:39:33
Whoa, Hey, I almost forgot.
00:39:35
Just we won't be here in the game after for the game after the Suns game.
00:39:40
No.
