What's going on, everybody? It's your boy, Ray.
And welcome to my little show here on D P n.
You know, sometimes I look at the New England Patriots and I just think, How good can this Team B? Because the New England Patriots is the only team that can be on the bye week and still come away as the victors and the critics, the civics, the haters, whatever you want to call it, they're going to come up with a 1,000,000 excuses.
They're gonna be mad.
They're gonna talk about how the Patriots are lucky.
The Patriots caught another break, and I always say, You gotta be good to be lucky.
But on a day when I thought I'd be bored on a day when I had nothing, really to look forward to, no Patriots football today, no Patriots football tomorrow.
We gotta wait all the way till next week to watch them play the Philadelphia Eagles.
I thought, What good can come of the bye week? Well, throughout the week I talked about the Kansas City Chiefs.
I talked about the Buffalo Bills and I talked about the Baltimore Ravens, and I said, How great would it be if all three of those teams would take L's now.
Obviously, we knew Baltimore wasn't gonna lose.
They're playing the Cincinnati Bengals.
We knew they were gonna walk in.
We knew that they were going to smash them.
I predicted last night that the Cleveland Browns would beat the Buffalo Bills because the Bills knew there were one game back from the Patriots.
They knew they were one game away of being tied for the A F C East.
And a win in New England could possibly give them that the tie breaker.
So you know the pressure would mount, you know it would be too much.
And despite Freddie Kitchens calling 3000 plays from the goal line and being the worst coach in the NFL, the Cleveland Browns, on a missed field goal, walk away victorious.
And then Kansas City goes on and they play the Tennessee Titans, and they're expecting to win the game.
Patrick Mahomes, the reigning M v P Nick right, is tweeting during the game, saying that yes, right now it's Russell Wilson.
But Patrick Mahomes is firmly firmly in the M V P category.
Ah, a nine point lead going into the fourth quarter, and Andy Reid did what Andy Reid does so best.
That's poorly managed a game poorly managed.
The clock in the cave.
The city Chiefs and they're Swiss cheese defense were forced to watch through lead, get squandered, forced to try to kick a game tying field goal.
And on a perfectly timed run, it gets blocked in.
The Kansas City Chiefs dropped to six and four with the stat padding gim****y Patrick Mahomes behind center.
Two out of three.
Ain't bad, ladies and gentlemen, and I give this week to the New England Patriots is a victory again, the Patriots being the only team that can win a week without playing a single game.
Man, the love affair in Kansas City is over.
The hope in Kansas City is over.
I was just enjoying Twitter, watching Kansas City Chiefs fans talking about competing for a wild card spot.
There's Kansas City Chiefs fans that believe the Oakland Raiders will be taking over.
Kay will be taken them over and winning the division and foreseen Kansas City to play in a wild card game.
You know they got another loss on Week 14 when they play the Patriots that defense ain't stopping Tom Brady.
We know that the Patriots defense is good enough to slow down and stop Patrick Mahomes, so they got at least one more loss on the year.
The Buffalo Bills are now completely out of the equation.
The hopes they might sneak into a wild card still, but their hopes and dreams of trying to make the A f c East competitive are done in dead.
It died today on Week 10.
The Patriots have wrapped it up, and we know that Baltimore's not gonna win their next what, six games.
So the Patriots have basically got the A F C wrapped up to the A F C championship game in the Super Bowl will run through New England yet again after a year off, when the Patriots were forced to go to Arrowhead Stadium, where they went and embarrassed the chief's kingdom in their own house on their own fields.
And I'm just ecstatic.
I never thought that I would enjoy a Patriots bye week more than I enjoyed this week, and like I said, you got to be good to be lucky.
Bill Bell, Check and Tom Brady were probably sitting at home evil ish grins on their face, knowing that their biggest competitors the best team in the a f C.
Who Nick right said, wasn't going to lose a game until 2020 the very next game, after he dubbed Patrick Mahomes the 2019 m v p the best team ever.
It's six and four, six and four.
You know what? I didn't notice either. Today.
I didn't notice anybody talking about the Ravens beating a trash team.
I didn't see anybody saying, Oh, the Ravens on Lee beat Baltimore.
Ravens only beat the Cincinnati Bengals.
I didn't see anybody talking about how the Ravens schedule allowed them to bounce back.
They didn't crumble.
Ben Ben Volin on on Twitter? Well, they didn't crumble after facing the Patriots.
They came back in one.
Well, me and a group of buddies could go out and beat the Cincinnati Bengals, because if people are going to sit there and talk about the Patriots schedule, if people are going to sit there and talk about all the Patriots pancakes schedule, that's why they're eight and one.
Look what happens when they have their first test.
Don't be riding the Lamar Jackson Train Now and private, that Patriots game.
Nobody was riding the Lamar Jackson trade.
Nobody was talking about the Steelers being Super Bowl favorites.
Now people are trying to see that they're Super Bowl.
Odds are up the mark.
Jackson's in the hunt for the M V P.
What? One game, one game.
And that changes everything.
Nobody gave Baltimore chance against New England except for one person.
And you all know who that person is.
When I did my preseason predictions, I said this stretch this challenge.
But the Patriots had to go through the the meat of the schedule.
I said, the only team that worried me this was before a game was even played.
I said the only team that worried me was the Baltimore Ravens.
John Harbaugh has coached well against the Bella check team.
The Ravens were coming off a bye.
It was in Baltimore on Sunday Night Football.
We're the Patriots, for whatever reason, on Sunday Night Football have struggled against Harbaugh teams, and they took the loss.
And, like I said to everybody, the Patriots, they may lose another game this season.
It's okay, guys, that's okay because the last time I checked the standings the last time I took a look at things and decided to figure out who is the best team in the F C.
Right now, I believe it's the eight and one New England Patriots.
Not the seven into Baltimore Ravens.
Not the six in three Houston Texans.
Not the six and four Kansas City Chiefs, the eighth in one New England Patriots are the best team in football right now.
They're better in the eight.
No San Francisco 40 Niners.
If Baltimore things they're gonna run all over the Houston Texans next week, they got another thing coming to them.
I'm not saying Baltimore can't walk away with the win, but it's not gonna be some cake walk.
They got a face.
San Francisco, They got a face.
Who? They lost you.
They gotta face Pittsburgh on the last game of the season who now has a chance toe fight for a wild card spot after their win today.
Gotta play Buffalo December 8th.
Buffalo could be a desperate team December 8th.
Gotta face the five and four Rams.
You never know what Rams team is going to come out.
I'm looking at that schedule.
They're gonna lose a game somewhere.
New England eight Losing more than one So I'm not worried about a tiebreaker.
The Patriots will, and we'll finish this season 14 into the number one seed in the A f C.
The New England Patriots, on a week that they didn't play a game, won the week.

So Ian Rappaport, who likes to write articles and screw with the heads of New England patriots, wrote an article today about Rob Gronkowski and more specifically about Robert Kraft.
When Rob Gronkowski was emptying out his locker, saying that he wanted him back in November and December down the stretch to help out the Patriots.
Now I don't want to burst the bubble of anybody here, but the odds that Rob Gronkowski will be a New England patriot this season, at the very least slim tow absolute none.
I just don't see it happening.
I just don't see a situation that Gronkowski is back this year.
You know, one of the things that we heard about, Uh, sorry.
Let me rephrase myself.
When I read the article today, they talked all this nice stuff about what? You know what, what Kraft wants and that they want Gronk to come back and blah blah, blah, blah, blah.
But there was one line that kind of got tucked away in the article, and I don't think it was for the better, because I think that it's the line that everybody should have paid attention to the most.
But what it said was, was people close to Gronkowski and people who was just recently with Gronkowski said that Drunk is showing no sign or willingness to come back and play football this season, which again should tell us Rob Gronkowski is not coming back.
The Patriots are gonna have to play with the team that's here, and I don't even want to talk about Gronkowski.
It's why I'll never make Gronkowski one of my lead subjects, because when you watch this replay on YouTube, the lead subject is is the title of the video and the thumb now, and I don't want to even talk about this because we got to just let Gronke we gotta let it go.
We got to dislike Gronkowski retire because I think we're at a point now where I don't know.
We just got to accept it.
I don't know what else to say.
It's a pipe dream.
He's not coming back to New England at least this year, and that's it.
But you know, it's not a pipe dream.
What's not a pipe dream is my hope that the NFL officials could get their crap together and actually start letting guys play football again.
I don't know if you guys managed to watch that Green Bay game today, me, that Green Bay game or if you saw the hit the McCoy put on Aaron Rodgers and they threw a flag for roughing the passer.
Are we not just at a point that the NFL should just, I don't know, put flags on quarterbacks, and the only way you can sack them is to pull the flag.
Because I watched the play 1000 times over.
I watched him hit him.
I watched him come to the side.
I watched him take him down.
I watched McCoy not put all or most of his body weight on Aaron Rodgers, and I just don't understand it.
And I know Chiefs, fans and them.
They like to throw back to the A F C championship games.
We'll look at the, you know, the roughing the passer on Brady.
Yeah, that was a B s call to at some point, your football is a contact game, and I get that you want to protect quarterbacks.
I get that you don't want a season where Nick Foles and Drew Brees and everybody is not playing.
When all your top guys aren't playing football, I get that I'm not an idiot, but at the same time, it's really is kind of ridiculous, is it not? It really is kind of ridiculous that we're in this situation.
It's ridiculous that every time they touch a quarterback they get I don't know I don't even know what to say anymore.
Maybe I'm just ranting.
Maybe I'm just raving.
Maybe I don't have a lot to talk about because the Patriots didn't play.
And I fully acknowledge that I fully acknowledge that Perhaps I just don't have a lot to talk about today, but I was kind of sick by the play.
You know, I was kind of sick from the play today.
Tow, watch a flight, come up in a game like, Why can you not make contact? Why can you not hit a quarterback? Is it an Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady rule? You know, I watch Cam Newton get half decapitated all over the field with no calls against him.
But you put a clean tackle.
It wasn't anything.
I don't get it again.
Maybe it's just me.
Here's what I can tell you.
This was an absolute crazy game of for a crazy week of football.
This was a week that my final predictions that I gave you last night while I know there's two games that haven't been played yet, but I'm sitting at four and six on the week four and six, and that's insane.
And right now I'm losing the Sunday night game.
I took Dallas to beat Minnesota.
Now I took Detroit to beat Chicago, and that's the only one I give myself a bit of a pass on.
Because at the time when I made that prediction, I didn't know that Matthew Stafford wasn't playing.
I didn't know we had broken bones in his back, but I figured you're playing Mitch Strabinsky.
Yeah, Chicago's defense is good, but so is Detroit's.
Not as good as Chicago's on the Detroit offense was better than Chicago's.
I didn't know that Stafford was.
Matthew Stafford wasn't playing the Ravens.
I was an easy pick.
I actually picked the Cleveland Browns to beat the Buffalo Bills.
You don't believe me. Watch last night's dream.
I pick the Cleveland Browns to be the Buffalo Bills.
There's no way in hell that I chose the Atlanta Falcons to beat the New Orleans Saints.
And if you would have told me yesterday, Hey, Ray, my predictions.
The Falcons, they're gonna beat the Saints 26 to 9.
I would have laughed at you.
I would have told you that.
You know nothing about football.
I would have thought it hilarious.
But there we are.
I picked the Giants over the Jets.
I don't give myself a pass on that one.
I think I felt the Giants were a better team than the Jets.
It was in New York.
It's like a double home crowd.
Two bad teams, the worst battle of New York we've ever watched.
And, yeah, I took tap a baby beat Arizona.
I took the Kansas City Chiefs to beat the Tennessee Titans.
I mean, sometimes you're wrong and you're happy to be wrong.
And trust me, I was happy to be wrong on that prediction.
But not in a 1,000,000 years that I think Tennessee would be Kansas City.
I took the Colts to beat Miami, even with Brian Hoyer, like you're playing the **** Miami Dolphins were now, too, and over the last two weeks, not a two game winning streak.
And I got the the Packers beating the Panthers, and that's what happened.
And it's more all night.
I got two Seahawks upsetting the San Francisco 40 Niners and there be no undefeated teams left in the NFL.
But what, Justin? Absolutely insane week.
You know, just I don't like there was This thing's happening.
I mean, we went through, like, a one minute span today where I'm watching the Kansas City Tennessee game.
I see the ball get well.
I see the ball get blocked right after blocks.
I'm on my at the score up watching the scores.
I see Buffalo driving down the field.
I switch right over to the Buffalo game just in time to see him.
Mrs Kick and they came, get finished, and I celebrated those wins.
As if you know the Patriots won.
The perfect bye week for the Patriots would be a Baltimore los of Bill's loss in a Kansas City los.
Two out of three ain't bad, man, but it's an absolute insane week in the NFL that at implications all over the standings, all over everything.
The Bills dropped to six and three.
There, there, they've improved what, five and four on the season like That's insane.
Right now, the wild card is between the Oakland Raiders, the Indianapolis Colts, the Pittsburgh Steelers that are all five and four.
The Bills right? Six and three.
If all three of those teams win their next game and the Bills lose, they'll be a four way tie for those two wild card spots.
You know the Bills have a loss coming up when they go to New England.
But away from the wild card, Oakland is now a game behind the Kansas City Chiefs, and actually, only half a game behind because they haven't had their are Ah, they haven't played 10 games yet.
They've only played nine.
That's nuts, man.
Absolutely, positively crazy that this is where we are.
The Chargers now have to be kicking themselves after Thursday night because **** get him.
They would have been in a spot.
They would have been in a spot.
I actually have a shot at making the playoffs, possibly winning the division and now four and six and all the tiebreakers.
They're they're out of their blown.
But like a Tennessee at five and five, Jacksonville's a foreign five.
They could be five and five after next week.
When you look at it the Dolphins, the Jets, the Browns, the Bangles, the Chargers in the Broncos are the only teams that are out of it.
The Patriots, obviously they're in the playoffs.
They're trying to battle for the win.
The A F C, the Bills, the Ravens, the Steelers, the Texans, the Colts, the Titans and Jacksonville.
I'll put them in there, Kansas City and Oakland, all in the playoff mix.
And in a week that teams could have run away with it in a week that we could have actually seen teams start running away and choking up there.
They're division's a little bit.
Kansas City loses, Buffalo loses the Steelers, beat the Rams.
VFC is alive and well, and then you look at the NFC.
If the Cowboys lose tonight, the Eagles and the Cowboys will be tied at five and four, the Packers at eight and two, the 40 Niners at eight.
No and the Saints at seven.
And to all very much in it.
The NFC and the Saints could have taken a firm grip today and really put themselves, you know, in a front running position.
If Minnesota win today, there'll be seven and three, but they're in the Packers division, but they could still be fighting it out for the NFC North.
The Seahawks, if they beat the 40 Niners tonight will improve to eight and two.
The 40 Niners will drop to eight and one.
And then what? They're what, half a game back? A single game back behind the behind the 40 Niners.
I mean, it's insane, right? It's absolutely insane how some of these games implemented so much today, You know, instead of being six and three on the year, the Rams and five and four, the Panthers are five and four, five and four.
I will not be good enough to make the playoffs this year in the NFC, yet five and four right now in the A F C.
When you're looking specifically at, like the A F C West five and four is, it couldn't have record that people still have you in the hunt toe.
Win your division.
That's how absolutely insane this year has been.
Every year in the A F C.
There's a new team, and this year it's the Baltimore Ravens.
2014 was the Indianapolis Colts.
We're going to overtake the New England Patriots.
The Broncos were gonna overtake the Patriots and hey, the Broncos, they they want a couple games.
They went to a couple Super Bowls.
They want a Super Bowl, but the sustainability wasn't there.
And then Jacksonville, Saxon Ville, Whatever you want to call them 2017.
That was gonna be the team to knock the Patriots off off there.
A F C perch Disasters.
2018 Season after losing the F C championship game last year, the Kansas City Chiefs Patrick Mahomes, the reigning M v p.
The Wonder Child.
The video game quarterback, six and four this year.
Lamar Jackson. Everybody was doubting Lamar Jackson.
They there was there was professionals.
You know, these professional broadcasters saying that Lamar Jackson should become a wide receiver, suddenly is in the hot from BP to beat the Patriots.
The way things look right now, the only way we'll see Baltimore again is in the NFC championship game in Foxboro, and I look forward to that game.
I look forward to Lamar Jackson in the cold in Foxboro in January, when the lights are the brightest.
We watched the Patriots absolutely shut down an underrated team and an up and coming team.
All right, At this point, I'm gonna bring the YouTube crowd in to start doing a little Q and a and we'll get it going here.
I see that a couple of you dropped your questions.
So for those of you on sports Caster, please drop your questions.
You will get first stab at it.
I hit the wrong button on the YouTube.
Pierce, I just got to set a couple things up going full out professional tonight.
I don't know how long we'll be going with the Q and A maybe 20 minutes.
Maybe half a. Now it all depends outcomes.
But drop your questions already saw one, and I will get to that drop.
Your questions will get it in.
I'll welcome in the YouTube crew, and we'll go from there.
All right, so let's start the questions here.
Really? Three. Wants to know.
Ray, would you like to see a 40 Niners for Patriots? Super Bowl? Um, yeah, I'd be a cool story.
You know, the whole Jimmy Garoppolo versus Tom Brady thing That definitely be a a pretty sick story.
Tow, watch, tow. Watch those guys together.
My dream Super Bowl has always been the Saints versus the Patriots.
Um, I always thought that's always been my dream matchup. Drew Brees.
This is Tom Brady I think that those are, you know, the two goats of their ERA over Aaron Rodgers.
I would love to see them go at it if somehow the Saints managed to win.
I've always said that, not that I'd be happy about in New Orleans winning the Patriots loss, but I I would accept it better than a Patriots loss.
That's just what I'm getting at.
But there's a lot of really good matchups we could look at.
You know, you could look at Aaron Rodgers was Tom Brady in the Super Bowl.
I love to get another shot at the Eagles and take on Carson Wentz.
This time, I would love to face Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott in the Super Bowl.
I like the names I like, you know, There's interesting names that they could take on.
I think what would be an interesting Super Bowl for us? Probably not for the world would be Detroit versus New England map.
Patricia Vers Bill Belichick.
You know, Gobby one.
So there's a whole lot of different cool stories.
Some of them would be cool for New England fans on Lee.
Some of them would be cool for the NFL.
I think San Francisco versus New England To historical teams, there's lots of debate about what's been the better dynasty, you know, the San Francisco Joe Montana's Tom Brady and the Patriots.
You got the guy in San Francisco that apparently taught that Bill Belichick wanted over Tom Brady.
But cap Tom Brady.
So there's a lot of cool things that could come from that Super Bowl.
What's going on, guys? Thank you to everybody who's ah tuning on in here too.
Ah, YouTube as well as somebody who's been live on SportsCastr with me for the last half.
A Knauer as I bring everybody in.
What's going on? Thank everybody. Please.
Everybody here on, uh, YouTube and SportsCastr Drop your questions and I will do my best to answer them.
Matt wants to know, Is Isaiah win returning verse Philadelphia or verse Dallas.
He will be back against Dallas.
Um, I gave some wrong information a little while ago on a video when I said he'd be back versus Philadelphia.
So if you got that question or you got that information for me, I apologize.
The rule used to be that it was eight weeks.
You just have to sit out for eight weeks.
You're eligible to come back after six weeks to go to practice and then eight weeks of, um, eight weeks and then you could play.
They changed the rule.
That was you had to come back after eight games.
You were still eligible.
Go, go to go back to practice after six weeks.
But you had to wait eight games to come back.
So he will not be a last year.
Or maybe the year before.
He would have been eligible to be back against Philly, but he will not be eligible to be back until the Dallas game, which will be a breath of fresh air.
And we can finally get Marshall Newhouse off the line because he's a spin.
I mean, I know everybody's feelings.
I know how everybody feels about Marshall Newhouse.
It's absolutely, positively ridiculous how bad he is played.
And I just want to see eyes.
They went back so bad, maybe bring some balance to the line that came up in my SportsCastr stream last night.
Maybe it would bring some balance to the line.
Maybe it allows Shack mason the players a little bit less pressure over on the right side of guard.
Like I said, that new house just hasn't been the whole problem.
He's been a big problem, but not the whole problem.
Shock Mason HASn't PLAYED WELL.
Joe Tune is playing about 75% of what Joe Tooni can play.
You know, Ted Caress has done a formidable job at center.
He's obviously not David Andrews, and that's not gonna be fixed this year.
Marcus Cannons at a bounceback year because last year I thought Marcus Cannon was probably the Patriots worst offensive lineman in a year when his line played phenomenal.
Ah, but he came back and played really well. Be Isiah.
Win will be back against the Cowboys over on SportsCastr Rhino said.
Who had the worst day, the Chiefs or the Saints by far.
When you talk about implications on the season, it was the Kansas City Chiefs the same.
Just still, I think, at seven and two after losing today, they're right in the hunt.
Um, you know, uh, if for the NFC, the Packers, right into the safe, Route seven and two and obviously San Francisco's at eight.
No, um, the best team in the NFC South is Caroline at five and four.
So the Saint should be easily wrap up the NFC South.
And then, I mean, there's still a really, really good shot for them to win the NFC.
If they can string together games and the Packers could drop another game and San Francisco can drop a couple games, Um, with the Kansas City lost today that dropped them tow What? Six and four on the season? I mean, there's now conversation that Oakland could fight back and win the A F C West in Kansas City's got to go in as the wild card team.
No, and I know a lot of Kansas City Chiefs fans are trying to take the Well, look with the Patriots.
If I had to go through and they're taking that whole underdog status, you know, kind of like you know, the Patriots about bad seasons and doubt us, and they're gonna come back and Baba Baba Baba block.
But you know what I mean.
The reality is, I don't remember the last time the Patriots were in the playoffs is a wild card team, you know, um, I have to do my research on that.
So it's And is that all? No, I don't do research anymore, so it is what it is.
Alex says it was 2000.
