Ravens Nation Ravens flock.
What's up, fellas? Feels good to come off a w.
I think we should be all set up.
All right, Cool.
What sub nubes I am.
This is the post game review for the Ravens Bangles game.
Not sure if this is gonna be up on YouTube later.
Sure, you'll I mean, obviously you'll find out if you're watching this on YouTube.
If not, it's just gonna be on SportsCastr.
So? So thank you guys.
So much for joining me on SportsCastr today.
Let's just get straight into the stats of today's game.
Obviously, we saw 49 to 13.
It was just an absolutely a nabs salute.
Ravens absolutely dominated the Bengals.
Basically, it's what you expected, right? Everybody expected the ravens to come out and just absolutely destroy the bangles, which they did.
I was actually one of the people that thought it was gonna be a lot closer than a lot of people thought.
Obviously, I was wrong.
I was happy to be wrong.
Um I mean, it was just evident that the Bengals just were outclassed, outplayed, outcoached out Everything they were out everything to Hank s.
If that's a term, um, you know, bangles, they just from the beginning, like a soon as we scored on that first driver was like, this feels this kind of feels like week one, that Dolphins game on.
And then we just kept putting it on him, and you know that their ah, you know, they really couldn't move the ball too much.
They did have some success early on in the second half in the first half, actually, hold on. Let me fix this.
They did have some success early on in the first half.
They were doing a lot of toss runs, toss plays, you know, kind of like some intermediate passes that seem to ah seem to find some success with that, Um, you know, they were moving the ball fairly well at times, but then after a while, it's just like I mean to defensive turnovers.
The Ravens were just scoring every single time.
They had the ball on offense.
Aside from the fourth quarter, of course, it was just utter domination.
I mean, the Ravens are looking really good.
I mean this this might be the best Ravens team I've seen in a long time.
So I'm not gonna you know, I'm not gonna look ahead and say Super Bowl or anything, which I know a lot of Ravens friends are.
I'm just gonna I'm thankful I'm thankful.
And I'm happy that we are getting these winds, and I'm hoping we can continue to stack these winds.
I mean, it feels good to be seven and two.
Um I mean, Lamar Jackson has just been phenomenal.
And, you know, you guys know if you've been watching my videos before, I haven't really been the biggest proponent of Lamar being the M.
I was just thankful he was even in consideration.
And, you know, I was just happy with him winning us games in him, continuing to develop as a quarterback.
That's what I was happy about.
But, I mean, I think if he goes next week against the Sean Watson's Texans, and if he just totally out pleased to Shawn Watson, what like how can you deny him any more seriously, he's come out.
He's out played Tom Brady.
He's outplayed Russell Wilson, who he's gotten some huge wins.
He has us at seven and two.
He's had a phenomenal years, just so many touchdowns.
I'm not even sure.
I think he has like 16 touchdowns on the year by now.
Great season, Um, rushing and passing.
I mean, if you like.
I said if he goes out there next week and just outplays to Shawn Watson, there's no denying him anymore.
He is what he is. M.
V p Baby, Um, which is crazy because, like I said, I I wasn't with one of the guys that was calling for it, but now I am.
I mean, after I saw today's performance, he was just phenomenal. Men.
Perfect passer rating.
Let's look at the stats.
15 of 17 223 yards, three touchdowns.
I mean, just a phenomenal performance through the air, Of course, rushing wise, he had seven Russia's 65 yards, one touchdown.
That one touchdown run was just I mean, it was it was incredible.
I mean, what more can you say it was? It was crazy, Dude, he he is doing things that even most running backs can't.
So if you want to call him a running back, that's fine.
because he is changing the game, Man.
Lamar Jackson is changing the game.
He is revolutionizing the NFL.
He is insane, Dude, He's doing things that I've never seen.
Maybe the NFL has never seen before.
He's just a crazy player.
He's a phenomenal player, and I can't believe he's on the Ravens man like that, he brings excitement to our offense.
Which is just crazy to say, because we've never had an exciting offense like this.
Game 15 of 17 223 yards, three touchdowns.
Like I said, seven Russians, 65 yards, one touchdown, four total touchdowns today with a perfect passer rating.
Um, one of the only quarterbacks to ever have two perfect games as a, you know, with a perfect passer rating.
And a lot of people were trying to discount that because, well, it was against the Dolphins and it was against the bangles.
Okay, but see, my thing is, when people want to bring that up, it's like has anybody else had a perfect passer rating against them this year? No, not at all.
So it's like, Why is that an argument? I mean, why can't you just appreciate what you're seeing without trying to take things away.
You know, it's like I don't get why people have to be so negative like they just can't appreciate what they're seeing in front of the so.
But it is what it is, man.
That's that's just how it's gonna be.
Brown had a pretty good game for receptions, 80 yards and a touchdown.
He had some nice receptions.
That first play from scrimmage was that D bomb to Hollywood.
Um, the tight ends had a phenomenal game as well.
Mark Andrews, with the two touchdowns defense defense, for the most part, wasn't too bad.
They did have some lapses, I think.
But for the most part, they played pretty well.
They had those two scores.
The fumble recovery touchdown by Tyus Bowser, I believe.
And then the pick six by Marcus Peters And, uh, Marcus Peters has been a great addition to this defense man.
He has really brought that playmaker something that we didn't really.
I mean, we did have Marlon Humphrey, but now that you had a Marcus Peters, that just adds like so it gets us more plays men That's what we've been needing on this defense.
We need playmakers and we have them in Humphrey and Peter's.
Now it's It's just I mean, this team is really good.
This team is very good.
Marcus Peters is a spark we needed.
And especially, it definitely helps that Jimmy Smith has been back.
He's definitely not lost a step.
Let's take a look at the Bengal stats.
Ryan Finley had a rough day.
Ryan family had a rough day.
He did scores first touchdown in the NFL.
Congrats to him.
But for the most part, it wasn't pretty.
It was not pretty five defensive touchdowns in the last three games. Amen.
I mean, I'm not mad at that.
You know, I'm pretty happy about that.
It's about time our defense is stepping up because we remember week three and four where they allowed 500 yards back to back and we were really questioning our defense were like, Is this defense going to be even good enough? And for them to really step up these past, um, what is enough for weeks? 12345 weeks for them to really step up these past five weeks.
Um, I'm just this team.
I'm loving this scene, I really am.
I thought I had so much fun last year with Lamar's rookie season, where he came in and went seven and one is a starter.
I never would have imagined I would have had the same amount of fun this year.
It's just been so fun to be a Ravens fan.
It's been phenomenal men.
It's it's crazy.
Anyway, let's look at this.
These Bangles stats.
Ryan Finley did have a pretty rough day.
16 of 3100 and 67 yards.
One touchdown, one pick.
I mean, not bad.
It could have been worse for sure.
You could definitely say it could have been worse.
Um, but for the most part, I mean, our defense shut them down pretty **** well.
Joe Mixon did get a lot of Carrie's.
He got a lot of Carrie's for 114 yards, still only averaged 3.
8 yards per Terry, and I think a lot of that, the reason why they just went to the run, well, of course they want to be safe with their new quarterback, the rookie quarterback.
They want to just hand it off.
Ah, but also because Michael Pearce went down early on in the game.
So I think that was why they decided to just pound that ball and, ah, you know, they had some successful runs.
But aside from that, I mean, they couldn't really get get anything going on offense.
He threw his first touchdown.
That's a good one. That's true.
That's a good point.
Um, Tyler Eifert had a touchdown, so I mean, for the most part, not much to complain about.
The defense was good.
The offense was good.
Lamar was incredible.
Um, running game was pretty decent.
Rg three came in that option play where Lamar tossed it back to RG three for that first down run.
That was that just had me.
So I don't know why men like that made me so happy seeing that.
I don't know why it just made me laugh.
I was like, Wow, it really felt like we were just playing with the bangles all day, like we like I said, we outclassed them, outplayed them out.
They just they didn't belong in the same.
They don't belong in the same league with us.
That's what I felt.
And I'm not time trying to talk trash because you guys know me.
I'm not a big trash talker, but, I mean, sometimes I am, but not all the time.
But anyway, it just felt like the Bengals just never, really.
They never belonged in the same field with us.
They really didn't.
They just got destroyed.
Um, you gotta feel bad for them.
Well, maybe not because they're in the NFC North, so who cares? This isn't the Ravens.
But one of the best things about today was that the Chief's lost. Yes.
That's another thing that I was gonna bring up the chief's lost the bills, Also lost.
I mean, they're probably they're not going to get, you know, one of the first seeds, but, um, unfortunately, the Browns had to get a win for in order for the Bills to lose.
So now we're gonna have to hear from Browns fans once again.
Oh, we beat the bills and you guys only beat the Bengals.
I'm already getting that in my twitter dms.
So you know, Browns fans are anyway, but I mean it was just it was a domination, you know, it's like I like I said in the pregame stream that I thought this was gonna be a lot closer.
I was expecting it to be a lot closer than you guys might expect.
But I was totally wrong, man.
It was just a domination.
We absolutely destroyed these guys.
So next week we do have a big test going up against the Shawn Watson and the Texans.
Like I said, if Lamar Jackson L please do Shawn Watson, there's no longer denying him.
He is the M v p.
And if he can do that, which I do have faith in him, I you know, I'm not gonna doubt us anymore for the rest of the season.
That's just how that that's how I feel.
That's really how I feel about the Ravens right now.
I'm not gonna doubt us anymore.
Um, you know, originally, I probably would have picked the Texas win because they're coming off there by, but at this point, I think the Ravens are one of the top teams in the NFC.
I truly do think so.
And maybe the NFL um, the Ravens are very good.
They're very good men.
And I know not everybody is gonna want to give us credit.
Everybody's gonna try to discount everything.
But they can do that all the way till the playoffs, man.
Because we going then not everybody else is going.
So I'm feeling good, man.
I'm feeling very good as a Ravens fan.
I'm super excited.
I'm glad that, you know, this has been a phenomenal You're never in my life what I have pictured.
This is the type of year we would have had.
I would have been happy if we would have went Lake nine and seven and the way it's looking now, that's not even gonna be an option, man.
So it's a great season.
It's a great year. Great game.
I mean, I just I I can't wait to keep watching these guys play men.
It's it's been so exciting.
To watch these guys play this season is something the Ravens have never had.
Both the great and explosive offense and a great defense.
I agree the defense is really starting to come into their own end.
This team is dangerous.
With this offense and this defense coming into their own, it's gonna be so hard to stop them.
It's gonna be so hard to stop them.
So but, yeah, guys, once again, thank you all so much for joining me on my post game review.

Um, I didn't realize until today, but we converted.
Brandon Carter was safety.
How do you feel about this? So I did see something about that he was actually playing back there.
I don't hate it.
I mean, Brandon Carr, you know, he's getting old.
He's getting up there.
He doesn't have the speed that he used to.
He's been struggling with those speedy receivers.
He's still pretty good in coverage.
Yeah, I don't hate the idea of him playing safety.
I think it's a good idea.
So I mean, when you have so many DBS, it's like, you gotta put you gotta you gotta have these guys out on the field.
So, yeah, I I don't hate that at all.
