Let's get this up and roll then That should be good to go.
Let's get this up and roll in. I'm waiting for the sign.
I'm waiting for the sign.
That should be good to go every day.
What we don't we'll be doing SportsCastr.
1212 How you doing? I see they were alive.
I'm gonna get this up right now.
Over here on my little telephone so I could see everybody join it in.
How's everybody doing today? Hopefully, everybody's having a fantastic start. Your day.
I'll say right. Fantastic.
Start to your Friday whether you are somebody who just works from home or wherever you want more power to you.
If you're working from an office, more power to you as well, whatever you're doing, hopefully you are enjoying your day.
So what I'm doing here today is re capping, as we usually do on Fridays.
And I've had a request to do this earlier in the week.
But, um, just for me on Fridays, it works out a lot better schedule wise to recap and also for me and maybe other people's well recapping on Friday looking ahead on Saturday.
It's a lot easier to do as a paired as compared to re capping on Tuesday.
Looking ahead on a Wednesday, I don't know, it seems too early in the week to look ahead, both research wise.
And then just overall, what I'm getting done, so excited to break down that take a little recap of the Packers.
What it's been a month or so since the last time we saw the Packers lose.
So that's not great, right? But you're gonna recap that welcomes everybody who's joining.
Feel free to hop into the chat with any questions, Comments, concerns, criticisms, remarks.
Know anything you want being positive down there, appreciate it, move that up.
So I'm just gonna recap what we saw in this game.
And it was by far the worst game of the season.
Rodgers was by far the worst game of the season for this entire matter LeFlore offense And, oddly enough, it comes in a game where you get Davante Adams back.
You're a home favorite, and although I thought this was a trouble spot and I thought it was definitely a trap spot as a home underdog team the Chargers.
Whenever a team is a home underdog and has a good pass rush and has a good quarterback, you could say which one about Philip Rivers, especially after last night, but has a a sustainable quarterback.
I guess you can say maybe that's not even the right word.
A capable quarterback and competent in more than competent Philip Rivers, it's a scary spot for any sort of team to go into.
I mean, you literally saw it with the New England Patriots going on the road.
You have home underdogs and the Ravens with a good quarterback on the Mark, Jackson and a good pass rush, and that's what happened.
So it is a difficult spot, I would say for any team.
Yeah, it reminded me almost of a game where I was actually live for the Packers against the Bills years ago, about four or five years ago, and it was in Buffalo Packers at that time was later in the season.
We're like the number one seed or we're looking to be the number one seed home underdogs, the Bills at home.
I didn't even have a good quarterback of the time.
I don't believe, but Yeah, it was Roger's worst game of his career at that point before.
I think the Denver game happens, but worst game of his career, and it's yet not great to watch this one very close to that.
I mean, 35 past times only comes away with 161 yards.
6 yards has going Ace Ventura.
Welcome into the chat on SportsCastr.
Yeah, 161 yards total. Really bad spot.
I mean, rating of 85.5.
What's going on, Joe? Welcome.
Hopefully having a good day if you're new here and your first time to me. Welcome.
Hopefully you're having a great day.
We hit that green button.
It means you become a fan over on SportsCastr.
Really appreciate that.
But the bigger news is that, um, yeah, Rogers look bad.
And it was just a Joey Bosa game like he wrecked this entire game.
Packers offensive line issues having some injuries, their players banged up, shuffling around at some extent, not too much.
I mean, they've had a couple of weeks now with this new line, but it just a spot where you're a home underdog and the charges and you came out and he played.
The Packers are on the fence is clearly an issue right now.
But, no, that does not fall on Kenny Clarke, right? I know we're moving all over the place, but these are some of the bigger topics from this game for the Packers.
If you look at any of this tape from Kenny Clarke, he's double team on a lot of these plays.
Why is he double teaming on a lot of these plays? Well, when Mike Daniels gets let go and goes to Detroit, where he's been battling an injury for about six weeks now, But when he leaves and goes to Detroit and you have Dean Lowry replacing him? As good as I think, Dean Lowry is, at least for his skill set in his expectations, he is not Mike Daniels.
Kenny Clarke is being double teamed on every single run, their scheming away from Kenny Clarke.
So when his numbers don't look like they did last year, keep in mind that he's not facing nearly as many.
Or he wasn't facing nearly as many double teams last year as he is this year, and there's nobody else that teams are afraid of, not a single person or teams were afraid of when they're scheming.
Run place outside of just Kenny Clarke. One.
Last year, you had to account, and more so double team.
If anybody Mike Daniels over Kenny Clarke.
So I'm not worried about Kenny Clarke.
It's just a matter of everybody else there.
Yes, but Blake Martinez gonna lead the league in tackles if he wants, but everybody else opposing him at linebacker.
Everybody else in the defensive line, they're not closing gaps.
And once again, the Packers lost mainly because they just couldn't stop the run.
I mean, yes, Melvin Gordon average game of 20 carries for 80 yards, but also Meckler 12 carries.
He picks up five and 1/2 year Justin Jackson rises from the dead, please.
Five snaps for Los Angeles.
Chargers picks up two carries for seven yards, and overall, they rushed for 38 attempts.
If you factor out the Philip Rivers rushing attempts, if you factor out Mike Williams one yard and a round or two garden around on to carry.
In fact, of those out there ran for about five yards per carry.
I hate yards per carry, but in this game, it truly was just a chunk.
Play after trunk play.
Ace Venture sends a thumbs up of 20 tickets. Thank you. Really appreciate that.
Pops up on the screen.
A check that out. Nick and SportsCastr.
Look, those animations Papadopoulos screen.
I mean, um, sportscasting stuff is in real life right now in terms of when I scream on YouTube and switch.
It's not even close. Like the technology.
I don't know exactly what goes into it, but the bit rate, whatever it is, every single thing is just live action.
So it's pretty cool. Thanks for the thumbs up.
Um, so we know where I've had a bad game dealing with pressure all game.
This guy had a clean pocket.
Oh, and not only that, it finally was a month of me doing these videos.
You could go back and check them.
This stank, the stank, the stench that is at wide receiver for the scream.
We're not talking about the bounty Adams, although he is still banged up, and he has already admitted he is not himself, even for this upcoming weekend.
And that's what happens when you have turf toe turf toe lingers for 89 months in terms of like being not even just physically but mentally in your head, in terms of how you can learn to get back and walk again and run on full speed.
So Vontae Adam's 56 weeks removed from a turf toe.
I'm not surprised that he's still not himself.
This is an injury at the low point to fully recover from takes an entire season.
I mean, look at a J.
Sure, he dealt with the whole offseason of turf toe, but it still bothers him every single game.
He comes off of drives for like 10 plays because his turf toe was acting up.
So it's something that is concerning for sure, But we've been saying it for the last couple weeks, at least on this channel.
The Packers have been beautifully scheming.
Running backs open Jamal Williams.
Aaron Jones has had multiple, huge games.
I'm scheming these guys open in Detroit on a prime 10 game is when Jamal Williams gets going.
But that has to somehow get stopped at some point.
And the Chargers did that.
They took away those passes.
The Packers, trailing all game for the most part, had no answer.
The short passes were not there.
They were not scheme nearly as nice.
Send a 10 token tip.
Thank you, 10 tickets and thank you.
I appreciate that.
That blowing up on the screen A thank you so much appreciate it.
But we had a month now of teams just getting wrecked.
Three weeks, Really Bye.
Aaron Jones and Jamal Wings in the passing game and nobody else doing a god**** single thing.
The Oakland game.
Count that as a chalk up two huge caches for M.
V s propping up Aaron Rodgers stats in that game.
Do not just it's an Oakland defense that is terrible, and somehow Philip Rivers wants to it last night, making three mistakes.
We couldn't have that last week in terms of interceptions, clothes, no picks in this game against the Packers, 108.
3 rating, but and finally happened every single week.
You see these Packers receivers having three or four targets each three or four targets each catching, maybe two balls.
I know we had Alan Lazar two weeks ago.
Catch five balls for like 40 yards.
That was the highlight of any wide receiver of the last month for the Packers because Aaron Jones and Jamal Williams and in passing him have been so good.
Well, what happens if you actually get the front and back? Yes, we can kind of cover up the stench even more.
That's what is that wide receiver for the Packers about the Adams superstar.
Fantastic wide receiver, especially when fully healthy, Best red zone receiver right there with DeAndre Hopkins in the entire league.
And it's really not that close in Route Runner in terms of top five and Stefan Diggs Keenan down and turning the brownies in the league, right? Those types of players.
Michael Thomas It's It is scary, though, that they somehow won games in the previous weeks with gay Kumerow L'm Lassard, Geronimo Wiles and an M V s running outside.
I don't care what anybody says about MPs.
Sure, he can catch deep gumballs that Aaron Rodgers stores beautiful passes on because he's fast.
He can't do anything else in the middle of field.
This guy is just useless when it comes to moving the chains.
So those were your cast and finally caught up to him.
Yes, you got Davante Adams back.
Yes, yet of every difficult matchup against former Packer Casey Hayward, I'm sure you had more depth overall, but they just couldn't get anything done.
As I sip some coffee, they couldn't get anything done scheming their running backs as they had success with and Davante Adams, although he was targeted heavily in this game, heavily compared to the rest of the receivers.
11 targets, as you'd expect on Lee, catches seven balls for 41 yards.
And that's just Casey Hayward.
And that's just scheme on.
They got beat better.
If there was a a zombie sip this if there was a perfect way to game, plan the Packers and execute your plan.
It's exactly what Philip Rivers and the Chargers did exactly to an extent, not even to an extent.
What t This is what they wanted to dio.
They wanted to be able to run the ball where they thought they had success and double team Kenny Clarke.
They wanted Philip Rivers that just hit the past is that he had to hit and not do anything more.
They did that, albeit too deep, passes a 56 yarder, and I believe another 40 plus charted for Mike Williams really propelled things, But they did that.
They thought they had a mismatch with Hunter Henry on the Packers, every single, viable tight end that I'm worried this week with Greg Olsen, who has been running a lot of routes but has been producing all that well.
But you look at every single good 10 and the Packers have been had to face some of the best tight ends in the league, right, if not all of the best ones.
Travis Kelsey, Darren Waller, Zach Ertz, Hunter, Henry. Those air.
Probably top four tight ends in the entire league right now and then have in England somewhere.
Slides in there.
But I would take I mean right now in terms of skill set.
Definitely Calc, definitely.
Wall are definitely hurts and probably, I mean, you have a kid as well is the only when they haven't had to face yet.
At least I believe they play the 40 Niners coming up, so B J Nats 97.
Welcome to the chat.
You have just every single time and the ****stan faces here and they look bad. Now.
I think a guy and we'll talk about it tomorrow on the preview for the Carolina and Packer game.
It's a spot where we know, um, even though he's running its own routes.
Greg Olsen is not the same type of player.
But yet the charges knew that they could scheme Hunter Henry Open and the fact that no answer like the only catch is in this game.
Seven balls for 84 yards in time targets.
I say only he didn't he wasn't even needed in the fourth quarter.
They don't even use him in the fourth quarter.
That's what happens.
So everything they wanted to do, they did well, I think that seeing Keenan Allen still not really produced for the past couple of games now it's very mad.
We saw last night he got going.
He's been coming back from injuries, battling injuries.
I'm not too concerned about that for them, seeing them get Melvin Gordon last night as well, but also in this game going, it's concerning for the Packers, for sure they can't get the running game going.
They only ran as a team 10 times for 40 yards in this game, and that's pretty good.
But I mean, when you're trailing so big the entire game, you have to throw and they just couldn't get anything going.
It's a game where they trailed the entire time.
They were just running.
No offensive plays.
They ran 46 offensive plays, 11 rushes.
One was the quarterback run by Rogers for five yards, and then Aaron Jones has eight carries for 30 are.
Jamal Williams is too carries for 10 yards, and then they throw only 35 times.
You're trailing the whole game, and that's all you can do.
You want to know why Philip Rivers charged offense was very easily milking the clock and getting less possessions for Aaron Rodgers in this entire game by running the ball number two packages had no offense, nothing.
The amount of punts, the amount of three and outs.
And then if they got a first down, then they're stalled on the next series.
It's it was very hard to watch and it just gets talked up to a middle of the season, and an address comes out after the game and goes.
He was disappointed that people in Los Angeles, I guess on the team were partying or something, cause he said, we were not.
We did not have our priorities in check A couple of guys on the team, they know who they are.
Don't say any specific names, but apparently too many people were partying it up.
Who knows who, But I would imagine it wasn't Rogers.
I imagine it wasn't maybe anybody.
That's potentially half sack.
One and 1/2 tackles for loss. Four.
It's just an absolute fantastic game.
He just caused havoc nonstop.
In this game, you saw a really good game from Casey Hayward on Davante Adams.
I mean, the Adamses targeted 11 times and he has 40 yards 41 years.
Whatever the exact number was on seven catches, the guys averaging six yards, little bit less than six yards per catch.
These Davante Adams 11 targets right now.
Number one target Rogers throwing him the ball so high upside targets in case he had himself a day secondary amount.
Too concerned about it.
I'm one big catch and then a catch and run.
Yes, he's been giving up a lot of yardage.
Enjoy your Alexander has also been performing pretty well.
You saw one big catch given up by Jr in this game.
You also saw him pretty much for the most part, outside on Andre Patton and Keenan down when he came out of the slot.
And then he saw a lot of Kevin King on Mike Williams.
So in terms of the secondary thought it was fine.
It just continues to be the linebackers and somewhat the safety's on tight ends and good tight ends, but for the most part, good tight end Zahra matchup problem for every single defense.
When you actually look at the stats here, you had three catches allowed to Michael Ames.
Three catches allowed to Kenya.
Now that's pretty good from a secondary.
I completely get it that they were up in this game very early, 19 to nothing, and they didn't have to force the issue or throw the ball that much.
But in a game or filled burgers, those throw 28 times and only six catches air completed to his wide receivers.
I think that's a pretty decent job done by the secondary, right? 28 times thrown includes Tony.
One passes, only six.
The wide receivers and those wide receivers are pretty competent in good and Mike Williams and definitely came down.
So interesting game.
I wonder, um, let me see how many people are watching right now.
There are 15 of you watching right now.
What is? And I'll believe this could have it up on my phone.
Are there any questions? I would like to get a little bit of a conversation gun.
Can anybody at least at least type in the chat? Just like no people are actually watching.
Ace Venture, June 93 82 already donated.
A C B J Nats 26 in here.
Is anybody in here right now? I would like to just chat.
I don't even know.
You don't have to be a Packer fan.
You can know nothing about the packers.
Whoever your team is in the n f o.
I can be **** sure I can talk about that without a doubt.
I do also have a YouTube channel.
We're about 15,000 subscribers today, Most likely or about 100 subscribers away.
I bet we get there by the end of the day.
Today, MBA videos go up every single day for fantasy sports and daily fantasy sports, as well as NFL videos going out about 5 to 6 days per week.
But this is the recap.
I think the Van Dams will only get healthier as the season goes on.
That said, though it will impact him, it's going to be a big struggle for the Packers to find the wide receiver number two in terms of snap counts and production, even with Davante Adams back now, once again, Alan Lizard most yards on the team.
44 Al Lizard seems to be a guy the Packers want to have on the field and snap counts dropped significantly below M.
V S and Alison this week.
I would like to see Alan Lizards snap counts rise above drawn while son in the slot.
Alison in the side has done nothing.
One of his touchdowns.
He was thrown open, right? Rogers, the other one, the Eagles just leaving wide open in the end zone.
All he's really done anything.
He's dropped two passes this season has not done much separation.
Maybe it's a fact of him playing in the slot because he's not normally a slot wide receiver in his career, was an outside and had success before his injury last year.
But I think you put on this earth a kid who showed up side a kid who continues to get generate separation.
I think you give him more opportunities in the side.
He now has eight catches in the last two games. Lizard.
I mean, no other Packer wide receivers in close to that.
If you don't count about the Adam's coming back in terms of the secondary and tertiary options, I believe we did get it.
Um oh, he had 1/2 a sec.
So he was one sack away from his career high, so now he's 1/2 a sack away.
They credit him with only 1/2.
Preston Williams is able to get a person.
Smith freshman art piece on i R.
Now presents been able to get a sack himself.
Man, coffee is so good, we probably look a pro football focus to see exactly what these Packers were giving up.
Maybe let's do that.
Why not? I don't think Profootballfocus is going to ban me all right.
I just want to look at pro football focus.
I want to look at what these Packers cornerbacks were doing.
Um, exactly this past week, I think they're gonna be good to look at before we close this Winky face.
What's going on? Pretty much what we're doing right now is only the Packers cornerback.
Exactly gave up this weekend because on the surface, obviously, they didn't give up much.
Only 21 attempts.
28 attempts for 28 attempts for Philip Rivers. 21 completions.
Only six. The wide receivers.
So I'm imagining they didn't do that badly.
But let's just see coverage.
So, as expected, J here and Kevin King or the leaders and coverage snaps.
Tyr gives up three catches for 36 yards and a touchdown.
Um, one of those, I think, was the Mike Williams, Obviously, I believe, and then Kevin King gives up three catches for 51 yards and he has a pick in the game.
So just very men, I guess you can say to Mom Williams in the slot continues to be an absolute monster.
18. Coverage Napster term on Williams.
One target. No receptions. True Mom.
Williams now through nine games is a pack of the season eight receptions allowed in coverage.
I believe it's eight.
Let's let me make sure I'm completely right on that.
And I believe we're on the wrong seats.
Week so far. Right here.
Silly minimum Week seven.
The updated stats.
So you have, um, Mom played 31 coverage snaps this week.
So here you go. It's wrong.
But he only gave up three catches for 19 yards, so Jamal Williams, coming into this week, was giving up 14 yards a game in one catch per game.
He ends up giving up three here, only 19 yards.
Gyre Alexander while he actually got torched.
So I guess Dyer was on Michael Ames on both of those deep passes.
He catches so dire against taller receivers, usually has struggling and has issues.
Kevin King, I'm assuming, was playing limited.
Only 13 coverage snaps gyre Alexander while four receptions on five targets.
So I changed my sentiment.
Let's see what his grade was, um, and see what is a grade was defensive grades for week nine.
So in terms of overall defence coverage, you can see right here.
A 37 1 of the worst of the week of Mon Williams continues to be very good.
Tackling is up their defense overalls up there, he's The coverage is obviously up there, adding all to it while Jr had a **** poor game last week is actually very good to see how these guys were doing. I do like this.
Let's look, it runs stop percentages on individual players from the Packers.
Enough, the cornerbacks, because we don't really care too much about that.
Let's look at linebackers, defensive ends and edge rushers.
So as I blow this up here, this is what we're looking at here.
So let's see the amount of snaps that these guys have played run snaps.
So Blake Martinez, obviously the linebacker, really doesn't leave the field.
4% run stop seems okay.
Um, we only had seven snaps or Sean Gary, which I guess makes sense.
So my previous Adams, he needs to be out there more.
In my opinion, he needs to be out there more.
I mean, look, Kenny Cole are two tackles, one assisted, one missed.
It isn't just double teams so often.
Let's see what the grades were on these guys.
We'll see what the grades are.
And then I am going to bounce.
And tomorrow will be our preview for the following.
Um, for the next game.
Packers run grades.
So run defense. The best on the weak. And this is bad.
I mean, the guy only played a couple of snaps.
This doesn't really count.
He played a total of nine run defense snaps of the guys were actually in the field for the run defense the most was, as you would expect, that area.
Smith, Blake, Martinez.
Um, I need to see this quickly.
It's very so, So run plays here.
Is that area Smith, Blake Martinez, Kenny Clarke, Tyler Lancaster mantra be.
It's Adam's against the run.
Adams was terrible in this game.
Lancaster was terrible in this game.
You had Kenny Clarke being very average at best in this game, and then you have Blake Martinez into Darius Smith story.
Smith continue to be exceptional, I would say is a strong word, but very good in all categories.
A man terrible against the run.
And this just continues to hold up.
Look, let's look at the entire season who stands out in terms of run defense.
We just look at every single week for this Packers team.
If only my Daniel's name was going to pop up here, that would be fantastic.
It was like 20 of you in years.
I mean, somebody happened in the chat.
Let's chat it out, All right.
I believe this is updated now, so these are a little bit skewed.
Like the fact that Kingsley Kiki has an 80 run defense in the best on the team.
It's only an 18 snaps of very small sample, but Tyler Lancaster has been very good against the run.
You could see here he is right now.
He's the six most snaps against Iran in the team, and he's the best run run stopper.
He generates no pressure, and he stuck to tackling.
So he just pretty much clogs up space right in the running game, and you can get off of tackles to kind of not allow a team to set the edges of defensive interior player story.
Smith has been very good.
Their whole team ****ing sucks.
A tackling excuse my language.
I mean everybody sucks a tackling its mantra.
Miss Adams is okay.
That's about it.
Blake Martinez, we know, can tackle. That's about it.
Sean Gary has been very limited on running plays.
He's a little bit above average right around average this season and run stop.
He's well above average and pressure rate, his overall defensive play above average right around the 70.
So the idea is that Kenny Clarke has fallen off and a lot of that skewed down because of coverage.
These guys don't play many coverage snaps, if any.
He's played one coverage snap this year, and it's going to somewhat factor into his great being lower.
So he's probably slightly above a 70.
So yeah, these air cool.
We haven't really taken a holistic look of the Packers in terms of these types of locate the entire defense.
I guess we gate was left out, so it's important.
But cool to look at this stuff.
Um, hopefully you guys enjoy this.
This is a extended review of the Packers game.
Actually helps me, as I do research all week long for defense and a lot of shows that I'm on on YouTube.
Pat Mayo experience on Mondays and Tuesday, Thursday and Friday or Tuesday, Thursday. Saturday.
I do also YouTube channel shows for that company at 11 a.
m. East Coast time.
So, like the research ideo, I gather a lot of it.
But taking a it's a very game based for this upcoming weekend is very position by position instead of an entire team.
Like looking into defense is.
So it is good to see, like what I already was expecting and singing some numbers that, yes, Kenny Clarke has not fallen off a cliff.
He is still a well above average player in the league based on his pff.
He is above average right now, So I feel completely fine with Clark's ability to really do everything, obviously tackling, finishing for this whole team.
So thank you, everybody for tuning in if you can hit that green ad.
But itjust largely to follow me as a broadcaster, takes two seconds what they're watching on your phone right now give you a little bump extra.
