And thank you too.
Everybody who's tuning into my little show here on Live on SportsCastr.

Don't forget to follow me over on my YouTube page where I am now putting out YouTube exclusive videos every single day.
DPMNE sports talk.
Follow me on Twitter and Instagram at DP An underscore ray.
Ladies and gentlemen, I hope that you're doing fine on a night that I've prepared Absolutely nothing.
And I'm gonna talk off the top of my head and I'm gonna introduce a new session anew not session, but a new, um, portion to this show tonight where, after I do my regular talk, my regular play by Ray, I will be connected with YouTube and we're gonna have, like, a 30 minute patriots shot where I'll take questions from here.
I'll take questions from YouTube.
Will just have a good time, will enjoy life.
I forgot to put the jersey on, and I just noticed when you said what No Jersey, that doesn't work now, does it? Does it? Does it? Does it, I guess, will be a black T shirt tonight.
Maybe I'll change it up.
Maybe I'll change my attire won't do jerseys and I'll just have it.
We gotta hang on my jerseys all over the wall.
Just have a good time and I wear it on the play by Ray, so we'll figure it all out.
What's going on, guys? So look, man, there's a lot going on in the NFL Locker went on with the New England Patriots.
Not a whole lot that I want to talk about.
It's been a bad day.
It's been a bad day, but there's a couple headlines that caught my attention.
One of the things that caught my attention was Tom Brady's social media behavior, and it was an article that came out by musket fire, and one thing that they kept pointing out is how Tom Brady continues to support Antonio Brown even way after he's been released after the man took shots at his daddy, Robert Kraft.
And a lot of people are wondering if Tom, But this is Tom Brady's passive, aggressive way of showing the New England Patriots that he's upset with them for cutting Antonio Brown.
Now, I know a lot of Patriot fans have been a lot more vocal about how upset they are.
The baby's not on the team.
Some people are blaming Bill ballot check.
Other people are blaming Robert Kraft.
Some people are just blaming who should be blamed on.
That's Antonio Brown.
But when I think about it, I give my opinion on the whole thing and ah, you know, that kind of thing.
I don't think it was built Ballot shack that wanted to get rid of Antonio Brown.
I think if he was all that crap coming out, he would have done it Ah, lot sooner than he did if he really wanted to move on from Antonio Brown.
I think you know the stories got that After that whole text message thing came out, it was Robert Kraft that flipped out, apparently called ballot shacks, snapping about things.
I think that it was him who told Bala, Check, You gotta get rid of him.
That's why it happened so late.
I think it was up to build ballot check.
And if it up to Tom Brady, Antonio Brown would still be a New England patriot.
But I don't like to look backwards like that, and I agree with some of the comments that were getting, you know, can't two guys.
Ronald made a good point.
Can't two guys who work together just be friends.
That's kind of my thought process on a two white Can it happen? But obviously there's something about it.
There's something about the situation.
I don't think Tom Brady's happy.
And one thing that I've noticed is Brady is not as eager toe work with rookies as he has been in the past.
Tom Brady wants veterans on the team.
Tom Brady wants to throw two guys who can actually catch the bloody ball.
Who could run a system? Look at the work that he's put in with Mohammed Sunu.
Look at the work that he put in with Antonio Brown when he came to the team.
Tom Brady knows he ain't no spring chicken anymore.
Tom Brady knows that his time in football is coming to an end sooner rather than later.
It could be next year.
It could be the year after that.
Only Tom Brady and Father Time really know the answer.
But it's also obvious that Tom Brady, it's sick of trying to get guys like the Kill Harry up to speed Jacoby Meyers up to speed.
He's saying, Just give me two new gimme.
Adelman convinced Gronk to come out of retirement.
Convinced the guys who know the system that know how to come in and play the game properly in the NFL led Jared Stead Han getting to kill Harry and Jacoby Meyers up to speed.
And you know, the more I think about that, the less you can kind of blame the guy, right? I mean, he's an older quarterback.
He wants to win more championships.
Can you win championships with rookie receivers? No.
Still have to wait and see what Nicky Harry can bring out.
I think that Jacoby Meyers, for the most part, has been, ah, pleasant surprise for the Patriots.
I think that he's not a lot more than I expected.
I expected to be on the team and be inactive almost every week.
And as the seasons gotten deeper, he's got more time to play.
But then you saw it last night or Sunday night when the Patriots go to the no huddle offense.
Jacoby Meyers is really nowhere to be seen.
And yeah and Rhino, I agree with you.
I did see the picture.
Grand Gronk doesn't look like a one.
He still looks more like a wide receiver than a tight end anymore.
You know, he's cut.
Wait, and he's trying to do his thing.
And obviously, the Patriots offense is a lot more different than we've seen in the past.
The Patriots offense.
Is it running? You didn't miss anything, Josh.
We were just talking about Gronk.
He's not coming back the way we don't get excited.
But, you know, the Patriots always were targeting tight ends.
It goes back to the original Ben Watts and not to Ben Watson And now, but all the way back in 2004 and they brought him Ben Watson and Rob Gronkowski, and then when you brought in guys like Aaron Hernandez, even Martellus Bennett, Bradys always had a tight end to turn to a tight end to throw the ball to someone to get the ball.
That outlet tight end who can take away the middle of the fields and he doesn't have it this year.
He's made some plays, but he had a bad drop in the Ravens game, and the very next throw led to that, you know, interception by Brady that looked like more like a punt and hang time in the air than it did.
Ah, you know, interception in a throw.
And it's really veered from my ritual subject about whether Brady is passive aggressively telling the Patriots, Bring back Antonio Brown.
But it is in your corrects.
A bad pass is underestimated or is an understatement or bad drop is an understatement.
But a bad drop that's caught 10 out of 10 times by Gronkowski last year can change complexions of games, you know.
And when we looked at that Ravens game, that was sort of the story of the game, the changing the complexions, bad panel, these by the defense of a Nadelman fumble, things that you don't expect a Patriots team that it's so fundamentally sound to make.
But that's also why I continue to say that I was more happy.
I felt better about the after the loss.
And I did after the Bills game because number one, you know that those fundamental mistakes aren't gonna happen again.
I do not expect that Patriots defense to come out again this season and drop the ball like they did and jump offside on fourth down and and miss plays and missed this.
And, yeah, you know what? I read the articles today.
I saw what people are saying ESPN talking about how the patrons have had now two games where they're given a big runs and that they can't stop the run.
But Baba Baba block.
You know what, man? They're up against Nick Job and Lamar Jackson and an Ingram.
Guess what? Good players are going to give points.
Tom Brady got big yards against good defense is I told you in that game the Baltimore Ravens were going to score? I talked about it before the game started.
What I would have liked to have seen from the Patriots is bend, But don't break in for the most part they did in the first half, because when you put it all together.
Technically, not officially, but technically, they held the Ravens to two field goals and one touchdown in that first half.
Then they jumped offside on fourth down, which obviously led to a touchdown rather than a field goal.
And it was just fundamentals.
But the regular part of the game wasn't that bad in the offense.
It was the most fluid.
I'd watch the offense of the offense play.
I put out a YouTube video today where I talked about how the Patriots offense is just ready to explode.
You can see it with Mohammed Sunu.
You can see it with Julian Edelman, and I believe that McKeel Harry will be back.
You know the reason that McKeel Harry didn't play against the Ravens, and I I I know.
I'm just It's a bye week, man.
I keep repeating myself.
But the recent in that this is usually the time of the week.
I start talking about the Patriots coming opponent, but I can't talk about the Eagles for eight days.
Even though Lane Johnson would love to live in my head, I just I ain't gonna let it happen.
Ain't gonna let it happen, people.
Not a chance am I gonna let Lane Johnson live in my head? But back to my original point, Obviously not kill Harry didn't play because he wasn't up to speed with the Patriots offense.
I also think he wasn't up to speed enough with the Patriots offense.
When you consider just how complicated the Patriots offense was against the Ravens, it looks simple, and it looked fluid, but it's tough to play in a no huddle offense.
When you got to remember every play, there's no one there to guide you.
There's no Brady to say, Hey, go or no Adelman to say, Young fella, stand over here.
You just gotta know where to go.
That's why I don't think Jacoby Meyers had a big part of the game.
So I expect to kill Harry back.
He's gonna have two more weeks to work with Tom Brady.
I expect them back when they play the Philadelphia Eagles back, expecting the play, expecting to make a debut at some point.
And yeah, man, I mean, that's really it.
It's I don't know where that conversation when we talked about like five different things in the last 11 minutes, it's all right.
That's what you get on, SportsCastr.
That's what you get on DP and Sports talk when I'm just in a good mood and just feel like chatting and just feel like talking and just feel like getting the wave of things around the NFL, though, there's a couple interesting stories.
I'm just gonna come up on my phone here just so I can remember exactly what I wanted to talk about.
So Cam Newton is out for the season officially put him on the I R. Today.
Um, you know, I kind of sit there and wonder couple things.
Is he really that injured? Are they putting him on the i R.
So he can They can find a new team for him next year? Or is he really just, you know, does he really just need the time off? Because I just find the time a little su****ious, you know, And I don't think that the paint that pay the Patriots I don't think that the Panthers had the stomach to tell Cam Newton or to tell the fan base or tell the team you're not getting your starting job back.
That's what it is.
I mean, I know that we want to believe different, but I think that that was the reality of it.
I don't the Panthers, you click on the Panthers thing and they still have Cam Newton is the starting quarterback guy.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know.
But you know, the Panthers, they they didn't look good when Cam Newton was there.
Now he could have been injured, absolutely.
But I don't think it had anything to do with injury.
I just think that Cam Newton isn't as good as he used to be, and Kyle Allen has come out and he's had a hell of a season.
So he started six games for the Panthers.
He's got 116 completions, has completed 60% of his passes, put a 1291 yards.
He's averaging 215.
2 passing yards per game.
He's thrown up nine touchdowns, four interceptions.
A kid that's been sacked 20 times in six games because the offensive line that has been running for his life, he's fumbled a lot.
He's humbled six times loss of four times, picked up 72 1st downs.
The average is 6.
76 yards per catch.
Not great not great, but not bad.
Not bad for a kid that was supposed to just watch Cam Newton play the whole season.
I mean, jeez, I think the Cleveland Browns would take what Kyle Allen is given to them, right? It's not like he's an old first overall pick.
Like some useless quarterbacks.
Let's look at Baker Mayfield stats on the year.
100 and 59 completions in eight games, 58.
3 passer rating.
1900 yards, 12 interceptions, two fumbles, Please, gentlemen, that's the last year's first round draft pick that likes to come out and yap his gums about every single other place and every other player and every other team and corner backs and receivers.
And he likes to give his opinion on everything.
And yet, when somebody tasks asked him is a tough question.
He just stormed away because it was the stupidest question I've ever heard of.
And guys, it's been like a day since I've talked about Baker Mayfield, but I think it's deserving of it.
The guy just runs his freakin mouth over and over it over again, and What are we supposed to do? Just ignore it? Are we supposed to just pretend that he's achieved nothing in his career? Are we supposed to pretend like I don't know He's good? Because I'll tell you who is good, I'll tell you is good and won't be starting, I guess.
Not next week, but after the Buy.
But the Jaguars announced today Nick Fools will be the starter in their game, coming in on week 11.
And let's be honest, how disappointed are we that the Minshew era is over? How disappointed are we that kid? I've never seen a quarterback just sweep up the nation like he did, and he played all right.
You know, it's not like he was Ah, a superstar of any form.
But Gardner meant you Look at that.
Look at this kid.
180 eight completions and eight starts.
8 passer rating.
He's completed 61 of his passes, 2200 passing yards, almost 2313 touchdown, four interceptions, eight fumbles.
Jeez, what's with all the fumbles with these young quarterback has been sacked 21 times.
He's averaging seven 0.
44 yards per carry.
Jackson was sitting four or five in a F C South, where they actually still have a chance that they could come out and win the division if they can somehow leapfrog a couple of teams and beating the Titans on week.
Week 12 would be the first start or a week 11.
We 12 they play because they're not playing Week 11.
They are playing Week 11.
You guys know what I'm talking about.
You guys don't know what I'm saying.
Don't pretend like you don't know what I'm talking about.
You know, only play the Colts the week before where five and three that a.
F C South is such a wide open division.
It's really going to be interesting.
I know that that Houston's kind of taken the greater the reins on it right now, But I think there's still a whole lot of things that could happen.
That's gonna be the best division tow watch this season because every single team there has an opportunity.
If they can go on a run and the other teams can falter a little bit, every single team has the opportunity to come out and make something happen, so it'll be interesting.
It'll be interesting to watch at ABC South, but Nick falls in Gardner Minshew out.
If you'd I don't know, I guess I don't know, I guess Marone believes that the starter can't lose the starting job to injury.
But I thought we had a Tom Brady situation coming up here.
Starting quarterback breaks, his collarbone gets hurt, He's out.
Things are done not but speaking The F C South.
Bad news for former New England Patriots Bad news for Super Bowl 49 hero Malcolm Butler, but he's out for the year.
He is out for the season.
He injured his rest and they have put him on the I R.
Yeah, and you know, the year that Butler left was a weird year, right? Because that's your he laughed.
That's the year Danny Amendola laugh.
That's the year that Dion Lewis left and I had a problem without Dion.
Lewis left the team, and it's continued troll job.
After I had a problem with the way Danny Amendola left the team, calling Bill Bella check and ******* and all that kind of good stuff, here's Malcolm Butler who gets benched in the Super Bowl, who had every opportunity to come out and just rip Bill Belichick to shreds? He did.
And yet his first interview.
He thanks Bill Belichick because he remembers that he was nothing more but an undrafted rookie working up Popeye's when Bill Belichick gave him a chance.
He was a guy that really didn't play at all in 2014.
And in this Super Bowl, they decide.
Let's give the kid a chance, you know? And it it was him who gave up the circus cast.
Catch the curse, right? But he makes up for it with the biggest interception in Patriots history.
And I agree with Patriot fans.
I agree with what I'm seeing here.
I love Malcolm Butler, but a 2018 he was a shell.
The Malcolm Butler from 2017 in 2017.
I mean, he was a shell of the Malcolm Butler from 2016 15 and that Super Bowl hero.
He wasn't the same Malcolm Butler, and he hasn't been the same Malcolm Butler in Tennessee, either.
And now we got stuff on.
Gilmore wasn't all Pro last year.
He's having an All Pro season this year.
He's definitely a Pro Bowler.
At the very least, it's basically a consensus amongst everybody but Jalen Ramsey.
The stuff on Gilmore is the best cornerback in the NFL.
So yeah, I can live without Malcolm Butler on the New England Patriots.
But I do got to respect the kid.
The kid left the right way.
The kid left and praised the team play.
Praised, Brady, praised Ballot Shack, praised the coaches.
Praise the organization that allowed him to go sign that ridiculous contract.
Not really, he didn't deserve.
And yeah, man, that's you know.
And now he's out.
By now, he's out for the year.
That was the whole point. I was getting that.
So it's too bad.
I would have liked to have seen Baller keep plane.
I think out of all the former Patriots are probably the most respect for him, and you know, besides that, I don't know to say.
But the Cleveland Browns Germaine Whitehead put out a post today.
I think it was on his instagram page.
I don't want to read it to you guys a CZ.
We all know I talked about it yesterday.
He was cut by the Cleveland Browns after being trolled on Twitter after the game for being an atrocious tackler, he was trolled.
Bye bye, Browns fans and I talked about the page or the Browns culture yesterday and how Freddie Kitchens is the worst coach in history and I won't go into my whole rant and rave about it, He wrote.
This today, said I would like to take this opportunity to apologize for my actions following our game with Denver.
That was totally out of character for me.
I do not justify my actions.
What was extremely frustrated by the way I had played in our team, losing because of it.
I was playing with a broken hand.
But that is no excuse for my actions and I am deeply regretful.
I want to personally apologize to anyone who I may have offended, especially those who I was responsive to on Twitter, my choice of words and not reflect who I am.
But on Lee what I was feeling also, my sincerest apologies to my teammates, coaches, the Brown's organization and, most of all, the fans and kids that motivate me to even pursue this dream again.
I'm deeply story for my unacceptable behavior and I wish the Browns the best of the lock in the future.
I'm very cautious.
But what I say because the last thing I want is remain Whitehead to find out what I'm saying about him.
But your main if you think anybody is buying that apology, if you don't, if you think anybody believes that you're apologetic and that didn't reflect you, you think we're stupider than we really are.
And I know there will be brown fans out there that will defend him.
And there will be apologist that defend him and yada, yada, yada, yada.
But when we're mad and we're upset, it's like when we're drunk, our truest colors come to form.
That's when we become who we are.
You meant every **** word you said on Twitter.
And I get that your publicist and your while you probably can't afford a publicist, but I get that you're Agent probably said you Germaine.
If you want a shot of plane in the NFL again, you have to take care of this, right? You have to go apologize.
You said things that people can press charges on you, so he comes up with this phony B s apology.
It's all good. We know it's fake.
Let him do what he wants to let him be, who he wants to be.
We're good, we're good.
It probably be a New England patriot next year, and all will be forgiven.
But that's what I'm getting that right.
This is what I'm getting at.
I still blame the Cleveland Browns organization for anything that happens, and it's the culture that they built.
And I spent 15 minutes talking about it yesterday.
I'm not gonna bore you if you're watching me yesterday with all that crap today, but you all know it.
ISS You all know it's Friday.
Kitchens, who just runs his mouth, runs his mouth but accomplishes nothing.
He talked to those players and nobody listens.
They waste generational talents like Odell Beckham Jr.
They waste talent like Jarvis Landry.
They waste talent like Baker Mayfield by letting him be his worst enemy.
You have Nick Job, who's one of the best running backs in the NFL, and here you are and we get results like Germaine Whitehead, just one of the funniest names in sports.
By the way, last thing before we start the Patriots chat and get the YouTube people on here and going and invading our space on SportsCastr wanted shot a little bit about how Pats Nation needs to chill the out.
I wish I had a B button that would just bleed me every time, I swear.
And you guys could just listen.
You just listen to the bleeps over and over again.
I need a co host on this Shiver stations with myself.
I make myself laugh.
I just, you know, and even if I wanted to co host, I wouldn't even know howto like Patch somebody in.
And ain't no way I'm letting anybody in my office in my space in my cave.
This is my space.
I have, like an eight by eight space in this house.
That's just mine, and nobody's allowed in it but me.
And when I say eight by eight, probably more like six by six.
But anyways, past nation, let me talk to you for a second.
I'm seeing way too much negativity on Twitter.
I'm seeing way too many Patriots fans who think they know more than Bill Belichick.
I can not you know, I can't even look at Facebook anymore.
I really can't like Facebook.
Just makes me sick to watch And how many people and watch, man, when the when the YouTube crowd comes in, you're gonna see the negative Nellies coming out, man, it's gonna happen.
And Oh, I appreciate that a lot, man.
Thank you so much that that means a lot to me.
You guys could see that you guys were reading the child right now.
That means a lot to me. Thank you so much.
I really, really appreciate that.
Call me from surprise, man.
You gonna make me cry any anyways? Too many people.
I think they know more than Bill Ballot.
The Patriots are eight and one.
The Patriots are the best team in the A F C.
People that pay the the the A F C championship runs through New England.
We know that when we think about this defense and we think about some of the great defense is in the history of the NFL.
The 85 Bears had a 30 point game against them.
The 2000 Ravens had a 30 point game against them.
The 2000 and three New England Patriots, which could have been the Patriots best defense.
Before this defense had three games where teams scored 30 points or more on the Patriots, so we know they're going to come out.
They had two weeks to prepare for the Philadelphia Eagles.
I don't care that the Eagles are offered by the Patriots.
Don't lose off ABI and losing before ABI is becoming a trend for the Patriots.
Have you noticed that? I feel like every year I come on here and I talk about the Patriots losing the game before the by.
They have the by, they come out and they kick the next team's ass.
And I agree with you. Rhino.
The Ravens have showed Bill ballot check what they are.
They were so gim****y, and there ain't nothing wrong with it.
I'm not taking nothing away from the Ravens.
Lamar Jackson is in the M V P conversation.
I talked about it yesterday. He needs to be.
But they showed their hand.
The Baltimore Ravens showed their hand and there was a show today, and I can't I can't remember who was was one of guys they don't like.
But they talked about how they felt good about the pages come out of the game.
Like I said, that was the most fluid.
I've seen the Patriotsoffense, and because of that, I'm excited. I'm ecstatic.
I'm happy we see exactly what they are able to do now.
And as we move forward and the defense again gets back on track and starts playing teams is going to great and and like, Look, this is we're back to the original, you know? Sunday night's game is so much like the 2014 Monday night blowout when we originally were on the Cincinnati, you know the sky was falling in New England.
So I'm Brady's done.
Bill Belichick can't control the team for the first time in the Brady Bala check era, they're just not good anymore.
Trent Dilfer talking about how Tom Brady is just not good.
It was all there was all set up this.
We're back in 2014 now we're back there, except instead of being on to Cincinnati, we are on to Philadelphia, and that's all the Patriots care about.
I was reading a great article today.
They're in the dressing room, smiling.
They're not gonna dwell on a loss on Lee.
Ask his fans dwell on losses.
You know the Patriots? No.
They have seven games left this season.
The Patriots? No, there.
Matthew Slater said it were still ordered.
The Kyle van Noy said, We're still eight and one.
You know, Matthew Slater said, We can't focus on the Ravens.
The Ravens game is done.
We gotta focus on the Eagles.
We gotta focus on ourselves.
You know, in the Patriots have, you know, they can focus on three things, right? They can focus on their run game, their offensive line work, and they can focus on stopping the run.
Those have been the three major issues for the Patriots.
The last safe, you know, 89 games, right? Eso they had two weeks to work on him.
They got two weeks to get better and better and better.
I'm confident, man.
I'm confident this Patriots team I don't know about you guys, but I'm confident that this Patriots team is going to get together and they're going to enjoy it, and we're gonna see things happen.
All right, guys, here's what we're gonna do.
Give me a minute here.
I'm gonna patch in the YouTube people.
You won't see the common.
Stay on SportsCastr, though I need you all in, SportsCastr.
Any of my sports casting people.
We're going to go back and forth.
I'm gonna flip back and forth.
Ask your questions. Make your comments.
I'm gonna respond to as many as I can.
I'm gonna chill out for at least 25 minutes.
We'll have a Patriots shot.
Will China's fans.
This is something I now plan on doing every single night.
So you're gonna hear me introduce the YouTube crew.
You're gonna hear me.
Tell them what it's all about.
We'll have some fun.
We'll talk some patriots.
You guys good with that? You all good without I hope you get a doctor.
I'm good with that.
I'm ready to do it.
Give me two seconds here.
It's kind of a commercial.
Break down and buy a pencil.
Oh, young by the pens.
Gonna save it up.
And in just a couple of seconds, I'm gonna go live on YouTube and we're gonna start.
This **** is Nick.
How's that sound? Boys and girls and everybody else hope you already.
What's going on? Pats Nation.
Thank you to everybody on YouTube that's here tonight to join the Patriots, chat work and have a good time.
And just talk about the Patriots.
Guys can ask your questions, leave your comments, all that good stuff.
I'm also live on SportsCastr right now where I just kind of wrapped up my 30 minutes show on there, and I'm now patching in YouTube's What's gonna happen now? Every single night, I'm gonna go live on on, SportsCastr, I'm gonna do my 30 minutes show, and then I'm gonna come up here on YouTube.
But I'm gonna chat with you guys.
So if you want, you can go over the SportsCastr.
There's a chat thing there.
You can be with me for my 30 minutes show and then talk on here.
Or you could just wait till I come up.
What's cracking, J? What's going down? Yeah, I ate all my boys.
Everybody here already to have a good time and talk some patriots so over on sports casting my boy rhinos asking Should I get in a kill Harry Jersey before he plays? I think you should get any jersey that you want to get right.
If you want to get a new kill, Harry journeyed to get a new nikkila Herridge Nick eel.
Um, I never deter people from moving away from what they wanted. Your money.
You worked for it.
It's your hard earned money.
You save away, we grind our hands of the bones.
You could buy any jersey that you want.
God, this was going on.
Chris, what's happening over here? Guys? Any patriots, questions, comments, anything you've got you can loaded up on here.
We can all network. We're gonna have fun.
And, uh, you know, we were just having a nice little conversation about Trent Dilfer trying to talk about Tom Brady.
Like Trent Dilfer knows anything about playing quarterback, talking about our past nation just needs to kind of chill out, you know, needs to chill out and just enjoy the Patriots being eight and one and all that kind of stuff we saw Big J.
I need questions, guys.
This is a patriot shot.
If I don't get questions, I got nothing to say and it's just me here.
All right? How do you like Ah, how you, like in everyone has quickly turned on the Pats over one game.
Man, that shouldn't surprise us at all, right? We all knew Look right after the game happened.
Right after Baltimore beat us.
I knew I said it in my in my post game.
Be prepared for the overreactions.
Rob Parker was probably cream in his pants, thinking about it, you know? I mean, people were ready to trash on the Patriots.
That's what they do.
People rip on the Patriots.
People pretend that the Patriots aren't the best team in the NFL.
I think what I was more disappointed in was the Patriots fans who were ripping on the Patriots, who think that they know more then Bill ballots that questioning Bill Bala. Jack.
I'm seeing people on my YouTube comments on Twitter talking about, you know, wasting a second round draft pick on Mohammed Sunu, and they didn't get Brady any real weapons.
Then the report comes out that Tom Brady was lobbying for.
Muhammad's too new, and they just ignore that fact.
Like I said, I'm more disappointed Patriot fans, man, you know, Look, Skip Bayless, he's gonna talk about about the patriot because he needs to keep his narrative that Tom Brady is the only player on the pages.
Without Tom Brady, they would accomplish nothing when we all know it's a team game.
Is it? Admitted Patriots hater Max Kellerman.
Rob Parker, Nick, right? They try to put on this first.
You know this Prasad that they are journalists, and that day you know that they know what they're talking about, that their objective.
And they're just giving their opinion.
Shannon Sharpe, at least, is just an admitted hater.
At least you know where he's coming from.
You know, Count Kellerman and Stephen A.
Smith disappointed me because he can usually read through the B s.
But you know, that's what it is.
Rhino over on, SportsCastr says.
How high do you see Harry rising up to the depth chart? I say's three.
*******. Aya's, too.
If you're talking this season, Rhino, I don't see Harry being any more than the fourth or the fifth.
I'm gonna be totally honest with you.
I think he'll have his moments.
I think he'll have his contributions.
I think that he will get some stuff done.
Julian Edelman's gonna be number one Mohamed Sanu is gonna be number two.
I think Philip Door status cemented is at number three.
Tom Brady wants to work with the veterans.
He's, you know, we're seeing it more and more.
He wants to work with the vets.
He wants to work with the guys who can get it done.
The running games, not working.
He wants his outlets.
That doesn't mean that I don't think McKeel Harry will play well this season and can still, you know, won't contribute to the team.
He's absolutely going to contribute to the team.
But he's going to have to, you know, just wait, right? Um, and by next year, he could be up at that number two.
I mean, eventually gonna be the number one receiver on this team.
You have to figure if he continues to move forward.
Um, so yeah, so that's what I'm seeing right now.
So that's my thoughts and a kill Harry Nikkila.
Harry is I wouldn't call him a project project Isn't a fair assessment of Nikkila, Harry.
Um, but I don't think that we're going to see him as like a number one or number two receiver on this team this year.
How much better will the old line be when wind comes back? That is a complicated question, all right, because it's not.
Look, Marshall Newhouse is a problem.
Guys, if you watch me on SportsCastr, you know, you know that I don't like much from the House.
Marginal Newhouse is a problem, but the rest of the offense of line has not lived up to expectations, either.
I look at like Shack Mason, who last year was the best guard in the NFL.
The third best guard in the NFL was Joe tuning.
Now Joe Tune is at a pretty solid year, but Shack Mason has not been in the best form.
I think he's been playing hurt with his ankle.
I think there's been things wrong with him, but he hasn't played that great.
Marcus Cannon is looking a little bit better, so I think I see a win is obviously going to be a big impact in the sense of you know he's gonna protect that blind side of Brady now.
But I need the rest of the offensive line to pick up two and yeah, in, um, King seen it, It's shacks, footwork.
That's been a problem and again.
And he's being beat by fast players this year.
And being the interior guy, he shouldn't.
He's not taking on that much speed, but I think that teams have discovered how to.
I think they discovered how to attack the Patriots offensive line with some of the bigger, slower guys.
You know, Marcus cannons a little slow, but he's played pretty solid this year.
Marcus Cannons probably been the brightest spot on the Patriots line, at least in my decision.
Um, so we'll have to see about that, But we'll definitely I mean, look, any replacement.
I'm sure I could move to tackle, give me a shot at left tackle because I think I could do a better job than Marshall Newhouse.
And I'm you know.
And I was an undersized guard, you know, let alone a tackle.
But and obviously I'm being sarcastic because I could barely walk up the stairs without running out of breath.
But it's Yeah, it's.
There's a lot of things I saw a really good question.
I wanted something was from somebody up here.
Do you think they discovered their new identity with the no huddle? You know, What? Man? I really like the no huddle against the Ravens, and I thought that it was something they could use moving forward.
You know, it's the Buffalo Bills back in the early nineties with the gym Callie days.
I mean, they were the no huddle team, right? Like they basically like in vandal, invented the not in an advantage, but, you know, they were a no huddle team and was so effective.
I think my thing is, is that I think that as long as the receiver stepped up the pace right, you know, Mohammed Sunu had a really good game.
They kept his route's pretty simple.
I I'll tell you what.
I really liked just about their offense, and they scored the touchdown on it, and I called it.
If you watched my play by play or what we're now calling on SportsCastr, the play by Ray, Um, if you watch it on Sunday, When I was doing my reaction stuff, I called that they need to run a stock formation and I love a stock formation with Seenu.
I think that's the new can play that perfect.
I think that he can play that Danny Amendola role just better.
I think he's a better receiver than Danny Amendola.
And what they did was is they stacked Adelman us anew and either want to stay door sat or Watson.
I can't remember which three, and but I know that it was addled minutes to noon.
I can remember the third I think it was Door sat on the touchdown and the new came up and came up this way, and Adelman came up, went to the right and, you know, as the pick to run the pick.
And I think that's a play that we'll see Maur and more and more.
And then watching was there is a pick a cz well, and it opens to new up.
And then he ran.
Really? What was a It was really what a Danny Amendola route would have been up.
Run the goal line, Get to throw.
Walk it in, right that I mean, I know him.
We all type of the Amendola pass in the back room.
But was it? But I really liked when they ran that stock formation, and I want to see them run more of that.
And I think if you can get in a keel Harry up to speed and remove Watson and put Harry with his size and strength there as the pickles.
Well, my only concern with putting to kill Harry in that position is the penalty and taking the offensive.
P I, um it's a tough it's running.
The stack has to be run by guys who know what they're doing.
And that's why I think having settlements to do is the one and two to run the picks and running.
And one time you go to see new you goto Adelman, you goto Watson.
You go to door set.
It gives you the opportunity to change who you have there, and I can't remember which game it was this season.
But a team actually had a little bit of success moving the ball on the Patriots, and they were running those stack formations and remember thinking Jesus, I wish the Patriots could run it, but I didn't trust.
I didn't trust Josh Gordon to run that formation, but I really, really, really like I really like mom.
It's the new there, so it's good.
But yeah, the no huddle is good.
I agree with Burt.
You can't run it all the time.
You have to be able to switch things up.
Eventually, people will figure it out and, yeah, but I think it's a good thing.
I think when they need to get things going, then well, they could go that no huddle.
And we've seen the Patriots do that in the past.
When they're trying, they need to move the ball. They need to do things.
They'll go to that no huddle offense.
So there is that opportunity, too.
Ah, back over on Sports Caster here.
And can we? Was that sal***e the run game? Sony needs to get involved in the past, Um, even in two back sets.
Yeah, you know what? The Patriots have the talent at running back to play to back set.
They don't play a lot of it.
I don't know why they don't actually, I believe the guy who could be the real big difference maker for the Patriots this season coming out of the backfield, especially since the run game hasn't been working overly well, is Rex Burkhead and, you know, to me he's still the third receiver on the team behind.
You know, Adam, a herb cattleman behind Sony Michelle and James White.
But vacant Jewel.
A couple of things with racks that they can't do with Sony. Michelle.
They can do with James White, but it becomes a little bit predictable with him.
But you can put Rex Burkhead in the backfield and he could run the ball.
He can catch the ball.
He can go line up as a slot guy.
There was a lot of cool things that you can do with Rexburg if you were to.
If you were to use improperly and you were to execute him properly, we saw him get a little bit more involved in the game on Sunday night.
Don't forget he's coming off an injury.
That's why I don't think he was very involved in the Cleveland game and it got a little bit more involved.
But I don't think you use him all the time, and I really I like the way the Patriots use their running backs in the sense of it's like every quarter or every drive.
They use a different running back because it just gives a different look.
But I agree with what Ryan was saying when he talks about needing to use Sony Michelle in the passing game.
It's too predictable, and I'm trying not sound like a broken record, but I've been saying this is like Week three.
But when Sony Michelle is on the field, everybody knows it's going to be a run play.
And they got him involved a little bit, but not the way I want it.
And But you know what? At the end of the day, though, maybe, and I'm not, I'm not prepared or ready to say this at this time.
Maybe Sony Michelle can play the past game, you know, maybe that's where we're at now and again, I don't I'm not ready for it.
I'm not ready to tee crown that and say it, but I think that there's gotta be a reason that they're not using them in the past game.
And it's, you know, at this point, I don't know guys like I don't I don't I don't I guess I'm not ready to say they can't use them.
I've seen, you know, Ivan fears believe that he could be a part of the past game.
Maybe it's just one of those anomaly of years.
I mean, I'm not gonna look at a guy who really set the identity of the team last season and say he's done perhaps having an offensive line that can freakin block would be, you know, an upgrade because I don't think that you I don't think that any running back is gonna come in whether it's Damian Harris.
If you can't open a hole, they're just gonna run into the receiver's.
I mean, all the running backs are being mad at the line of scrimmage.
Sony Michelle is working his friggin ass off.
What? To get two yards on a run? You know, people are talking about Sony.
Michelle, You know, I heard was that Skip Bayless talking about also need Michelle's in the doghouse, But yeah, I don't know, like I don't know what they do.
It's It's just it starts with the offensive line.
We know that and you know the biggest piece.
Well, we lost two of the Patriots best run blockers this year, right? We started with Rob Gronkowski the retirement and then we lost James Dublin and that that right there is what the probably the biggest key toe why the running game is struggling this year.
I think if if Gronk is back, regardless of anything he would have blocked.
And then James Devlin, man like James Devlin.
I was watching, um, do your job part three again the other day.
Not the whole thing is gonna just watch it at the end.
I wanted to watch the final drive where the Patriots ran the same play three times.
So I wanted to see if there's anything similar they could do against Baltimore.
That's why I was watching it sometimes.
Like to pretend I'm a coach and scout, you know, Um, but ah, but they were showing the Sony Michelle touchdown, and it was in slow motion.
And my God, the block the Devlin through on that touchdown in the block that gronk through on that touchdown.
Like no wonder Sony Michelle walked in like the whole that got open.
I could have scored that touchdown, so Yeah, it's Ah, it's a ray.
What do you think about running back Damian hairs? I don't know what I think about Damian hairs.
I need to watch him play in the NFL.
I don't know you.
You know, I don't know how he's gonna fare.
I liked him at Obama, you know, he was, Ah, he was a part of a stacked running team.
He's able, at least in college.
He was able to play in the running game and be a power runner.
I would love to see a combination of Damian Hair is being the power runner and Sony Michelle being the finesse runner and James White being the third down, running back and then kind of mix in a little bit of Rex Burkhead.
But, um, yeah, it's, um I don't know.
It's also not uncommon.
It's also not uncommon for Bill Belichick to sit a rookie running back.
I mean, I think Sony Michelle was the only guy that really got a lot of playing time.
Shane Marine side James White sought their first year, so it's not like it's a common thing.
One thing I'll be interested to see is when Nikkila Harry does come back.
One of the things that was in his draft profile, and I'll admit I didn't know a whole lot about him in college.
But when I watched some of his highlights and you know when you watch the highlights, they don't show this kind of stuff doesn't show the catch is.
But one of the things I read on all of his draft profiles was that he's actually like a ferocious run blocker, so he could give the opportunity for the Patriots to get out there and make some more blocks.
So, yeah, so it's, you know, it's I don't so I don't really have an opinion on Damian Hairs yet because I'd like to see him play.
I thought he looked okay in preseason.
I wasn't necessarily that overly impressed with them.
But I've been seen anything bad to say.
Like, I don't want to see this guy, you know, come out and play football for the Patriots.
So we'll have to see even when he's there.
He's not getting a lot of opportunities.
So yes, it's Ah, it's what it is.
Um, I'm also wondering to what's gonna happen with Ghana.
I mean, I understand that he's dealing with injuries and stuff now, but Mom, it's new back there for ponds.
Brandon Bolden, you know, taking kickoffs.
You know, a part of me was wondering what's gonna happen with with all chassis going for and if if maybe possibly he's done or do they hold them until next year.
I mean, are they gonna have another roster spot for another spot? You know, it was one thing before when they were holding on to be a special teamer and rumors wise, he was gonna kick both kicks.
But I was not doing anything.
Somebody like Bill or Robert Kraft should call a B and get him back.
I was just talking about Antonio Brown before I came on here.
So for all of you that are just on right now, what's gonna happen? What I do every night wanting to be doing every night now for those of you who don't know I do a sports, I do a show on SportsCastr every night into a 30 minute show talking about the Patriots and the NFL and other things that we do.
And, um And then I And then I come in and I bring you guys in for half an hour and I just a back and forth on the chat between YouTube and, um SportsCastr.
But one of the things I was talking about was Antonio Brown tonight, and I was talking about how Tom Brady like, is so involved with Antonio Brown on social media.
He likes every post that he does.
He makes a comment, and I was talking about, like how it's like, you know, I was dreamin article today like Tom Brady's like passively aggressively showing the Patriots how upset they are that they got rid of Antonio Brown and my realists.
My, really? You know, my my opinion on the whole Antonio Brown situation is not based on, you know, Is he guilty? And that guy, you know that's not up for me.
But when it comes to New England Patriots, I don't believe Bill Belichick wanted the caught Antonio Brown.
I believe that that was a Robert Kraft decision.
That's why Antonio Brown never took a shot of ballot.
Second, he took a shot at Robert Kraft.
I believe that if if Bill Belichick was going to call him, he would have cut him a lot earlier in the day.
I think that that he wanted practice that day.
Those tax messages came out before the Patriots were practicing.
I think Bill Belichick would have kept him and I think it was Robert Kraft who made the call and said, No, he's gotta go reports that I was reading his craft was away on business and he flipped out when those text messages became public.
So, uh, you know, this is a situation where I don't blame ballot check for it.
I think Bala check was prepared to keep him.
I think Val Check was just looking.
I'm like, What is wrong with you? Because because his our field stuff was awful, but he it seemed like from what everybody, you know, well, the players were saying he seemed like he was a pretty good teammate.
You know, Brady seemed to like him.
A lot of the other receivers leader like him.
Somebody put a picture on Twitter the other day that I almost made me cry.
And it was the picture of Josh Gordon, Antonio Brown, Tom Brady, Julian Edelman with Phillip Dorsett kind of walking and, you know, it was like, you know, this was once actually a picture in New England.
It was during the Miami game.
I was like, Oh, my God, Look, a stack That team looked, you know, but ah, yes.
Oh, you know it is what it is with Antonio Brown.
I don't think we're going to see him back I think that's an ownership decision.
I don't think that's a Tom Brady decision.
Um, so yeah, And you're right, Jay.
If if it was a Robert Kraft decision and Bilbao check wanted to keep him, this would be the second time you overruled them.
If we buy into the fact that Brady or that Val Jack wanted to move on from Brady and keep Garoppolo, which is still alleged, and we don't know for sure, maybe it was ballot Jack, you know that Drafted him.
Tom Bree, you know what gets me is Tom Brady talks about his relationship with Robert Kraft, and yet he never really went to defense for Robert Kraft.
You know, after he they let a b go on, maybe made those comments on Twitter, and he's still continuing to support the guy, and I am.
And maybe that's a way of Brady trying to lobby showing craft.
Look what this guy's doing.
Could you imagine a team with Tom Brady? Antonio Brown, Um are Julian Edelman, Antonio Brown Mohammed Sunu? If that you know the case, the thing is, though, once they brought McKeel Harry back, I kind of just believe that the any chance of a be coming back to the Patriots, which I didn't think there was much but any chance of coming back just erased because you'd rather bring back, like, a James Devlin, then the hell Harry, if you have all those guys, right? So, yeah, man.
I mean, yeah, it would be great.
A B would be amazing.
Ray of this back over on sports cash now.
Josh Waas as Ray Ah, Is it weird that we haven't heard anything about Antonio Brown case since he was caught? Well, last I heard, she dropped the lawsuit, which is going to refile or something somewhere else, I think is going to refile in Florida or Yeah, gonna re file in Florida, but yeah, No, Look, we all know it.
It's the Patriots are a ***y story.
Everybody either loves the Patriots or hates the Patriots with one thing about the New England Patriots is there's a reaction to the Patriots.
There is a a general feeling towards the Patriots.
Do you hate the Cleveland Browns? Probably not.
You probably don't care.
Maybe there's a You have a feeling towards.
You know Baker Mayfield.
And if any of you falling on SportsCastr, you'll know how much I hate Baker.
I talked about Baker Mayfield daily on my on my SportsCastr show.
Um, but, you know, you might, you know, Who do you hate, right? We hate the eagles.
I assume I assume you guys do too.
Um, or most of you.
But that's what I'm saying.
Like, but everybody outside of Patriots Nation hates the New England Patriots.
There's nobody who is indifferent to the Patriots.
You know what I'm saying? So people are going to talk about New England, which is fine.
That's why I don't get mad when they talk about it.
I mean, sometimes Neck right says things on like you, mother, you know.
But at the end of the day, you know, at the end of the day, people care about the patriots one way or the other, and that's why they're gonna talk about Ah, One of the chances will get Odell on the Patriots next season.
I think slim tonight, to be honest with you, um, I don't I don't think the Browns will move on from them.
I don't see why they move on from them.
I think they need to move on from Freddie Kitchens, the worst coach in the NFL, and actually execute one of the generational talents in the world.
Like what? A poor guy that got stuck playing with Eli Manning for most of his career.
Then he goes over to Cleveland, where he's supposed to be playing with a first round draft pick who's done nothing but underpants form and then overrated as hell, you know, and now he's stock playing with, you know, whatever.
But I know I think slim to none that we get him, to be honest with you. I love it.
There's always a chance, but I don't see it happening.
What are the chances we get? Antonio Brown back about that much, Not saying I wouldn't want it to happen.
Don't argue with me and say that we need to have it.
You know what has to happen? I just that much.
That's that's my honest opinion on it.
All right, guys, with all of that being said, I am tired.
I have been streaming for an hour now, and I think I got a call it a night.
