What's popping? Is your boy back in effect? I'm just a few hours ago because I was just on last night.
But anyway, the next plate of Kings tomorrow night, six PM at Madison Square Garden and my question to you is, Is it a must win? I know there's some guys in the check that think it's a must win.
Is it a must win? Do we have to beat the Sacramento Kings? The sal***e this season? Let's talk about Oh, right, ladies and gentlemen, hope you had a great Saturday.
You know, my Saturday has been I've been able to relax a little bit this Saturday.
Just sit back, chilling and watch some movies and stuff like that.
Ah, I did want to get on earlier.
It wasn't to be, but it's all good among now you know me so we could talk about the Sacramento Kings in New York Knicks or New York Knicks of Sacramento Kings game because I'm telling you right now, it's not gonna be a walkover.
I know a lot of people say that this is a team that the Knicks should beat.
I'm not sure right now if there's any team that the Knicks should be is definitely a team that you want to be.
If you say that the Knicks are going to be or should be, a at least challenging for the eighth seed and you gotta beat you gotta beat up on guys Sacramento Kings.
But I'm not sure if the Knicks should beat this team or not.
I tell you what.
The Sacramento Kings are probably better than their record says, then most likely going to end up better than what the record says, I think.
But we're going to get in it.
We're going to talk about it.
I'm pretty sure some people gonna have some things left over.
From last night's loss to the Boston Celtics at the bustle by Jason Tatum, he knocked it out the park.
Good play. Listen, it was well defended.
It was very well defended.
It just wasn't to be.
But it was well defended.
You know what? That was all R J.
Berry, who defended that shot.
You know, what is it a must win? Do we have to beat the Sacramento Kings? Let me tell you.
So the upcoming schedule for the New York Knicks, the the next 20 games.
Let's just say that the next eight, the next 20 games for the Knicks, you got some really good teams.
So really, really good teams not coming up immediately, but down the line.
And then you got your mediocre teams, right? You got your teams that you say what the Knicks should win.
You got Sacramento? Uh, Dallas.
I don't know if Dallas is a team that you say that Nick shoot when it gets.
Like I said, I don't know if any team you say the Knicks would win against that Dallas game is gonna be obviously an amped up game to Dallas games in the next two weeks.
Cleveland right? And then you get to a tough stretch.
We looked at it last night, but we'll take a look at it once more real quick before we get into this breakdown on what's coming up for the New York Knicks and why this game could very well be a must win in a way that the Knicks really have to use this game as a springboard for the next eight games for the next 7878 games.
So the Knicks could start to get on top of their record, even up That record of became last night when we were talking, we said the Knicks, we need the next to go six and two in this stretch.
What do you want with us last night? That's what we said.
We want the next to go 6 to 2 during this stretch.
Let's take a look at the stress that's coming up.
New York Knicks, ladies and gentlemen, A one in five on the season so far.
Look, let's be really that one in five record I know is one of five, but we play some tough teams.
During that record.
We played the San Antonio Spurs.
A matter of fact, let's take a look back.
We're gonna show some of the previous games.
Ah, so let's take a look at it so far, the Knicks of play dispose once.
They lost 1 22 1 11 Right, But the game. You know, the score.
They ended up losing by nine, but they had a lead in the fourth quarter.
The Knicks had a lead in the fourth quarter.
They lost it, couldn't hold on to it then it went to Brooklyn.
They held a lead in the fourth quarter.
As a matter of fact, the Knicks held a lead with a minute left in the game in Brooklyn, but they had a closer Kyrie Irving.
I was able to close the game for the for the Brooklyn Nets.
The Knicks lost to the Nets, the home opener.
I was there. Some of you were there.
The Knicks lost, 1 18 in 95 in the home opener, and what turned out to be a blowout? The Knicks were in the game up until the third quarter.
Maybe midway through the third quarter.
The Knicks were right there in the game.
They held the lead at halftime, wasn't able to close the deal.
It had a closing.
The Celtics had a closer next, couldn't close the deal.
Finally, the Knicks got a win versus Chicago Bulls, a team that you and I would probably say they should have beat, and they beat them.
The only team so far on their schedule that was not in the playoffs last season spars when to play off the next one.
The playoffs. The Celtics win the playoffs.
The next game the Knicks going.
They play Orlando, right? The Knicks lose it 95 to 83.
Scoring problems scored only 83 points.
The team has a very good defense number two defensive team in the league at the time, also another team that made the playoffs last season.
I believe they've made the playoffs last season.
If not, they were right on the crust.
I have to go back and look at it.
But yes, I think they made the playoffs.
And it seemed that will probably Osho that maybe could make the playoffs this season.
You Orlando Magic.
And then last night, they played the Boston Celtics game.
We're back and forth.
It's a good basketball game.
The game was tied with six point whatever seconds left, however many seconds left and Jason Tatum knocks down along a deep, too, to win the game.
All right, so there it is, Ladies and gentlemen, the Knicks, one and five On the season they played, they've had a lead in just about every game that they've played.
They've also been down double digits in just about every game they played.
Except for this, the last night's game they got down seven.
That was the biggest lead that the Celtics held last night, so the Knicks were able to stay in contention throughout the game.
They didn't have to fight back, scrap back straight back, but they couldn't pull it out.
Obviously, my buddy fought.
I think this team will continue to fight.
They've had a lead in every game, even a Celtics game that they lost.
They started off with a lead, so hey, well, this is where we are.
One in five on the season.
Now we have the Sacramento Kings tomorrow night.
And this is why some people say it's a most wind because it starts a stretch.
It begins a stretch of games got a very, very winnable for the Knicks, a stretch where the Knicks can actually even up their record.
If they win ball games.
Well, clearly, if they win ball games, it played a Sacramento Kings, and they'd play the Detroit Pistons in the Dallas Mavericks in the Cleveland Cavaliers, Chicago Bulls and the Dallas Mavericks.
Again, these are games that a winnable for the Knicks.
After this second game with Dallas, they play Charlotte.
The Cavaliers wants a game the Knicks.
If the Knicks want to even up their record, they want to build their confidence.
If they want to be ready for the next stretch, they've got to go at least six and two, at least six and two much easier said than done.
But it's got to start tomorrow night, and that's why I think tha Mona is a key game.
If it's not a must win, it is a very, very key game.
Because tomorrow night at six PM at Madison Square Garden with the Knicks play the Kings, they could jump start a winning streak, right? They could jumpstart these winds.
That's what we need, Ladies and gentlemen.
So we need tomorrow night.
But I'm gonna tell you what The Sacramento Kings are coming off of a very good win versus the Utah Jazz.
A close win, just like the Knicks last night lost a close game to the Celtics.
The Sacramento Kings won a close game to the Utah Jazz, two teams that have every good defensively talking about the Celtics in the Jazz.
Two teams that are gonna be towards the top of both of their conferences, talking about the Celtics in the Jazz the King's gotta win.
The Knicks lost at the buzzer.
So both teams should be coming into this game with confidence.
Probably with supreme confidence, because they actually pulled it out for their first win of the season.
Okay, they actually pulled it out for the 1st 1 in the season.
So we're gonna see what the next conduce see if the Knicks could pull in a win tomorrow night against the Sacramento Kings.
Right now, I want to take a minute and no, you see nobody's in the video check, right? Nobody's in the video chat right now, so good know where you guys that I'm sure we'll get some people in there sooner or later.
All right, just to let you know if you want to call Indian, call in 5164 or 5 to 246 and I can.
We could talk, get your perspective on tomorrow night's game.
But Sacramento Kings were coming off a good win, and I'm pretty sure the Sacramento Kings are gonna be, uh, they feel like playing the Knicks that they should win and they should defeat the New York Knicks.
I'm pretty positive they feel that way, and they should feel that way.
They should feel it's still day, all the better team than the New York Knicks that we're closer to making the playoffs last season.
The handsome, talented guys on that team, ladies and gentlemen, actually really talented guys on a team.
Before we get to that, though, I don't want to hear from all J. Barry.
We didn't get a chance to hear R J.
Baron in full last night as he played against, you know, you know, coming off the loss to the Boston Celtics.
But I do want to listen to R.
J. Barrett will get a chance to listen to R. J.
Barrett in just a second, and I have to be listen to rg Barry.
We're gonna go ahead and we're gonna break down the Sacramento Kings or the New York Knicks.
I should always begin with the New York Knicks, right? Always begin with the New York Knicks, Not beginning with the Sacramento Kings.
We're gonna break down the New York Knicks opposed to Sacramento Kings.
All right, so let's take the second man is listen to R.
Talk about last night's game We heard everything from Coach Fizdale.
We could listen to him again and then we'll get to the Sacramento Kings and we'll break down the Sacramento Kings.
J. Barrett. Ladies and gentlemen, check it out.
All right. Our day.
I wish I know you wish you could have that last possession back with Jason Tatum and then shot there would walk me through defensively.
What was that game plan? Uh, you know, we switched everything.
You got the floor.
You made a very tough shot in the corner, you know, Contested.
Too Tough shot overall.
When you take a look at playing this team a week ago versus playing them tonight defensively, what difference would you say? We just We stayed locked in.
We stayed locked in on all game on whole foot, courted.
And that's identity of our team.
And we did that tonight.
A big night for Marcus Morris.
You know, you guys were behind him every step of the way.
He put your team on his back down the stretch.
Li, what did you see from him tonight? We're trying to find him.
We know today said night does it night and we do the best we could to find him, and he makes him a credible shot, big shot at the end.
You know, it's at a game, and that's the type of this type of stuff you could do.
So happy to have him on our team movement this early portion this season.
What do you think of it tonight? It was good.
That's what kind of what we've been working on.
And every game you can kind of see some improvements.
And today, with the ball that was so good starting point guard would would you see from him big time, Big time.
Big time. Not just a few shots for us.
You know, he played Kemba hard all game long, and no, it's great that somebody like that on a team.
Very difficult shot against Jason, just indicative of how big players are getting a glimpse of that way, are the best players in the world are way.
I mean, you know, you give a good player. That was good.
D just know better.
I know it's hard to accept the loss on a night when this team wins most of the hustle plays.
But defensively, what did you see from your next door neighbor, Frank Millikin and all these guys? Um way said way tryto, uh, different coverage because that's him of Boston and we executed way.
Like I said every time, even with being three weeks and 1/2 months together, switching conference like that was that was hard.
We took the challenge.
I think we did a good job at it.
It's not a playoff seem against us that we hold on to, uh, not that many points and we stay in the game to the fourth quarter.
So it's a positive positive thing for us and for you.
You get your first starting point guard and the ball moved really well tonight.
What did you see in the way that you were able to set your teammates up? Great things, great things, Like you said, the bomb, the bomb.
But it was great.
It was not perfect.
But he was still improve tonight and we got to keep on working, keep on trusting each other and make plays for each other, and he's going to come.
But I think I think right there, and we see it every night.
All right, ladies and gentlemen, you heard from R.
Barrett and you also heard from Frank Miller Akina.
Both guys believe and feel that the ball movement was better.
Both guys take some positive things away from last night's game.
I take some positive things away from last night's game.
The ball movement part.
You know, I think that the ball movement has been better.
I just feel like we're moving East and west instead of North itself.
You know, in a something that I heard from Frank Leela Keenan.
There is this switching.
I have no problem with switching.
I don't I don't.
But we talked about it last night and this switching.
It's beginning to get the Knicks in trouble, because teams and it's always gotten us in trouble.
But teams recognize that there's a weak defender on the floor.
So then they switch their best player onto that weak defender because they know the Knicks are gonna switch everything you don't say.
So what's that mean for tomorrow night's game? Right? Tomorrow night, the Knicks are playing a very, very fast guard in the era of Fox, May be the fastest guard in the league, right? What are they gonna do? They're gonna find a way to switch the air.
They're gonna find a way to make the next switch, right? They're gonna set a screen with whoever they want, the whoever they want the air and Fox to match up against.
You're gonna make that switch.
They're gonna let the Interfax goto work now.
And that starting lineup, maybe they try to switch with, you know, set a screen.
Whoever Julius Randle was guarding and we're gonna look at the roster.
We're gonna look at the line ups in the second.
Whoever Julius Randle is guarding, maybe they switch, get Julius Randle, all in theory of Fox and let the intervals goto work.
Right? You could see the same thing may be happening with Buddy healed him, switched off.
So maybe Mitch Robinson or something like that, that body, he'll go to work.
You know, there were so many times last night, you know, not the big buildup.
I don't want to say he was buildup of people.
Wanted to see Ken Frank Miller, Kina do the same thing to Kemba Walker as they did as he didn't feeble.
I didn't think it was gonna happen.
You know? Ah, in a different team, not just because it's the N b A, but it's a different team.
So everyone was gonna have this schemes in strategies.
You know, when, um, the Knicks obviously have their strategy of switching.
So there was so many times that Campbell Frank Nell Akina was switched off off Campbell Walker, right? He was switched off.
So it was somebody else defending Kemba Walker.
And I'll be, you know, when you in the end of the game came a walker, the big three friendly looking was on him.
I'm not saying that Frank was gonna shut him down, but there were a lot of times with Kemba Walker, somebody else's garden.
Campbell and I can see the same exact thing happening tomorrow night.
So I'm gonna take a quick second gonna look at I got ah, dreaming are in the in the video check.
So I'm gonna take a second.
We're gonna look at the line ups real quick, and then we're gonna talk about these lineups and how we match up, right? We'll talk about how we match up with these lineups and yeah, see where we go from there, ladies and gentlemen.
So right now the lineups look like this.
You got Frank Miller Kina matching up against the inner fox.
Barrett matching up against Buddy healed Marcus Morris against Harrison Barnes.
Ah, guess no Mafia.
So see that I've been practicing pneumonia.
I feel proud of that.
And then you got Mitchell Robertson matching up against the Sean Holmes.
I said, that's the match ups for the night.
And look that, frankly, looking in the inner fox, frankly, Lacuna has his work cut out for me.
You know, he's been up against Kyrie.
Ah, uh, yeah, he gets Kataria little bit this season.
Well, they just Well, 11 game, actually, frankly located in playing that game.
So he's been up against Campbell.
He's been up against Kemba Walker hosted right now.
We can't have the guard so far this season.
Who did the Knicks play? I got to go back and look at Look at the look at the, uh it's schedule to see who was he went up against, cause My memory is fading from me right now, ladies and gentlemen.
But anyway, tomorrow night he plays Deanna Fox.
It was another tough matchup, you know, saying in Orlando you had d j Augustine Marquel faults.
I forgot whoever, whoever the point guard wasn't Chicago.
But right now, this is probably the fastest gun in the league in the unit.
Fox, we're gonna see what Frank Millikin could do.
But if they constantly switch, I don't know if that's helped hurting the team.
Ladies and gentlemen, you know you gotta have all five of your guys on the floor Have to be good defenders if you're going to switch, you know, saying everyone's got to be a good defender if you're gonna switch and your big guy's got to be able to guard some of those, you know, small point guards coming off screens coming off switches and those separate things you gotta have defenders that can play defense.
If you got one or two and you're lying up that can't play defense.
Smart teams are going to switch.
You don't get and get their best guard.
That quickest guard isolated on your worst defender it was What's popping, man.
How you feeling? Someone welling and so I'm feeling feeling pretty good, man.
Trying to get some rest this weekend And what not, you know? Yeah.
Like what, man? So So what are we gonna do against Sacramento? Are we going to switch it up? Are we gonna Are we going to continue to switch like we have been? And if so, is it? Can it? Can it work? Force? The defense has been a little bit better than she.
I'm not going to say it.
Hasn't you know, you would say we're gonna take it? We're gonna look at the defense of rating.
I think right now we're 19th in the league somewhere around 107.
7 or something like that.
Could be better.
You know, we had one or two games where the scores were, you know, maybe a little bit more inflated, you know, um you know, the Spurs scored 120 points, but it's been better, and hopefully it'll get better.
Frank Millikin remains.
And that starting lineup it should get better, you know.
You know what? I was told Sam Man him and Mitch in the game. It's deadly.
When they play together, It's just it's too much left on the court in Opposing teams have problems against that.
I don't know if you noticed the game against Boston, you know? And I'm saying this in reference to how do you know how we can be successful tomorrow? Did you notice that we played own at times and it worked.
You know, it's an end to be fair with the Kemba Walker thing.
Like Kemba Walker made 40 points off report, But you got a fact that I didn't believe was 14 reporting from the line.
He was killing that.
They're free throw on, man.
Right right over there.
But, you know, we put him on the line, and he was the wrong person to put on the line that night.
Yeah, well, you know, a man, Frank, Frank is is the man.
But here we were gonna mess things up, and, you know, a few people play with that we're getting.
We're getting out quicker to those three point shooters right now.
They're having shot got well so far this season from the three point line.
I think they're around 32%.
No, but we don't want him to get high.
I know it's in that hot on us, and they're coming off of the windows Utah, you know? And although they didn't shoot well from the three point line, But as Utah, you don't want him to get going, You know, I'm saying and I'm sure they're feeling confident coming off that wind, and they're ready to get going.
You know what I'm saying? So, uh, this is this? Whatever.
Do I'm going to go over a couple of stats? Yeah, I look at a couple of stats and they don't ever get right back to you.
So again, ladies and gentlemen, the Knicks playing the Sacramento Kings tomorrow night at six.
PM at Madison Square Garden.
All right, so make sure that you are ready to watch the game.
I may be called.
I'm not sure I got to see what's going on if I don't have to.
You know, if I don't have a lot of things going on, which I usually do, I might just call the game.
You know, I got to see what's going on if you get a notification that I'm calling the game, then join it.
All right, So what we're gonna do right now, we're gonna look at some stats. May.
We're gonna go over some stats.
Ah, so important steps, I think.
And then we're gonna look at some not just, you know, we're gonna look at some keys to the game And what the Knicks I think the Knicks need to do to win this game.
All right, So do me a favor.
Subscribe to the channel.
Ring that notification bell.
You'd be notified anytime I go live Joppa video opposed to my community section.
If you're a SportsCastr, follow me on, SportsCastr, make sure you are Sher this our Twitter, Facebook instagram, all that good stuff.
All right, so let's take a look.
We're gonna go back.
We'll look at the starters again.
They're not. Do we look at the starters.
Well, go ahead and look at some of this other stuff right again.
You got Frank Miller, Kina R J.
Barrett, Marcus Morris, Julius Randle Mitchell Robertson started for the Knicks for the Sacramento Kings.
Is the Air Fox buddy healed hairs and Barnes.
I see that now. I forgot.
But I say his last name be elite so and with Sean Holmes, Right? That's the matchups for tomorrow night, Obviously, Dina Fox.
But he healed those guys.
Make that team go right, buddy.
Hell, coming off of getting a big A nice contract with the Sacramento Kings.
They make that team go still for the Knicks.
Uh, Dennis, Maybe Julia's out for pet.
Elephant painting is out.
Reggie Bullock is out.
I think Mr Robinson is still gonna play. But he does.
Have he jammed up his finger or something like that? So he does have that going on, but I think he's still gonna play now.
Mr Robbins has only been getting 16 17 18 minutes a game.
I think that Coach Fizdale should switch up that starting lineup. Behave.
He said he's sticking with mitts.
Rob writer with Miss Reid Widow Okay, Both teams, that one in five, ladies and gentlemen and looking to try to start a streak.
The Knicks have lost one in a row, if that's what you want to say.
They lost the last game and the Sacramento Kings won their first game last night.
A team comparison.
But look at what the teams are doing Right now.
The Knicks are averaging 108 100.
8 points per game.
They give up 108.
8 points per game.
There is shooting the necks of shooting 41.
9% from the field at issue, 35.
They grabbed 48.
5 rebounds a game.
They averaged 17.
5 assists in 18.
The Knicks are one of the top teams in rebounds.
I think their top 10 in rebounds that should be if they only shoot 41% from the field.
You know, meanwhile, 42% from the field, they're going to be a top rebounding team.
The Knicks defense of waiting so far this season is one of 7.
6 that's good for 19th in the League of the offensive rating is 100.
3 down towards the bottom 27th in the league.
And here's the thing, man.
You know what we heard all summer long from everybody is that the Knicks know they can score the ball.
This is what we heard from Nick's players from feigns they got guys that could score the ball.
They got to do it on the defense event.
Well, the defense's mediocre right now.
Hopefully, with frankly, looking is starting is gonna get better and stay better.
Stay better, stay good.
And we'll see if Frank Milligan is going to continue to start when L for Pain and Dennis Smith Jr get back in the fold.
We'll see how that whole thing plays out, right? But the offense was the one thing that everyone said we're not worried about.
But right now the offense sucks.
No ball movement.
We shoot a bad percentage from the field.
We have a hard time getting open shots.
We don't score in transition, right? Well, one of the worst teams scoring on the brake in the league, one of the worst.
We play at a slow pace.
Their average 99.2 points per game.
Their opponents average 113.
2 points per game.
They shoot 42.2% from the field.
They only grab 41 rebounds per game.
They Ah there assisted the average 17.
8 assists per game, and they average 19.
3 turnovers per game.
I believe you know, I left it off, so I'm gonna have to go back and I'll make sure I get that Staten and update you on that step.
I'm not sure how I left that off.
Ah, the defensive rating is 1 12.
4 That's good for 25th in the league and the offensive reading rating is 99.
That's 28th in the league.
So clearly you look at their record and you look at our record.
You know where two teams that have numbers, that right don't go towards the bottom of the league.
And we're two teams that have records that it towards the bottom of the league.
I too bad teams, bad teams trying to get on track.
Take a look at some of the keys to the game.
No, folks, the first key to the game, we gotta take care of the basketball now.
You know, the Sacramento Kings, they they're not a team that scores a lot of transition at least so far in the league, right? And let me get that up for you.
There you go. Take care of the ball.
They're not a team that's actually scoring a lot of points on the brake, right? They're not scoring a lot of points on a break, but we don't want to get him started because it doesn't mean that they can't The ENA Fox is quick.
He's fast, He's fast, right? So we can't let these guys get out on a break.
Now we turn over the ball a lot, but also check this out.
The Knicks are 27th in the league and opponents fast break points.
They give up 17.
8 points per game on the fast break, right? So although the Sacramento Kings have not been scoring a lot of points so far this season on a break, if the Knicks don't take care of the basketball, they also don't play transition defense.
Is that giving? Like I said, the 27th in the league with in an opponent's fast break, they give up 17.
8 points, became on the fast break.
We might just let dear Fox loose and we turn over the ball and that **** files get up the floor.
Who's catching him, we'll schedule.
Not many people are catching, so we gotta take care of the ball.
Not let the Sacramento Kings get out on the break, right? Not that we'd get out on the break.
We got scoring the pain, right? The Sacramento Kings.
They gave up 50.
3 points per game in the paint.
3 points per game in the paint.
The Sacramento Kings give up.
I think there's like 21st in the league or something like that.
We got guys that could score the paint.
Julius Randle, Number one guy that was going to paint.
We know that we gotta do a better job getting him the ball there.
We got to do a better job like GMO or gizmo.
You guys who knew that is just joining us? Go look at last night's streaming.
You're no Why? Well, Corn of gizmo, but like is Gizmo says we need off the ball movement while Julius Randle has the ball in the post.
We can't sit there and watch while the defense has one foot in the paint or one foot angling towards the paint and then you're ready to send double teams.
Hey, so we gotta score in the paint.
Bobby Portis got school in the paint, right? You know, from post up positions.
Sometimes he misses layups.
Julius Randle, too.
But he gets going to paint, you know, saying, uh, Marcus Morris could score in that post area, so we gotta take advantage of that.
Take advantage of the paint's gonna paint All right the next.
Let's try to get out in transition.
We don't score in transition, right? Not on Lee.
All we wanted the worst teams and opponents scoring on a fast break.
We are one in the worst teams in scoring on the fast break in the league, right? So we gotta find a way to get out in transition.
If we're one of the best rebounding teams, there's no reason why we can't get the ball and get out right.
Start running that bats break.
Try to get some easy buckets.
Put some pressure on the defense.
Now it's gonna be easier said than done against the Kings, because the Kings are very good transition defense team right there, fifth in the league and opponents fast break points.
They give up 10 points per game on the fast break.
That's fifth in the league.
You only give up 10 points per game on a fast break, all right, so it's going to be easier said than done.
We're not just going to go to get out there and start running all over the King's because they get back on defense and get back on defense.
Don't what we've got to try to get out in transition, see if we can get some easy buckets in transition so we could put some pressure on the defense.
We're not doing it.
Sometimes when he runs point for what he gets the rebound, he starts advancing the ball up the floor.
But it's very slow. It's plotting.
Marcus Moore is the same Bracknell.
Akina does a good job getting the ball up the floor and pushing it up the floor, sometimes about a dribble, sometimes by the past.
What Frank Miller Kina does not do is take a chance and penetrate off that fast break.
He doesn't see the lanes to the basket as quickly as some of the guards.
You know when Frank Nella Keane is coming up the floor with the ball.
He's looking to see who else is open, and if he doesn't find a pass, he comes back out and sets the offense.
Not a problem with that, but every once in a while I'd like to see Frank Miller Akina try to attack off that fast break.
He's got the speed has got more speed than I think.
A lot of people realize when he decides to turn it on, he can go.
A couple of years ago I was laughed at about it.
You know, people are saying, you know, you say Frank, another Keen is fast.
He's slow, Bubba, Bubba when frankly, looking to the size to go, he could go.
I've seen it, I've seen it, and I know that some of you have seen it before.
I would just like to see him do it a little bit more.
You know, he gets the ball on the break.
Is no one to pass it to.
Let's see him attack the glass to see what happens.
See what happens.
But we've got to find the way we talk about, You know, we talked about scoring in the paint.
That's another way to school in the paint by penetrating.
We don't have pendant guards right now that can penetrate.
Not not tonight's game or tomorrow night's game.
Dennis Smith Jr. Elfrid Payton.
Those guys around Elephant Painting does a better job penetrating then Frank Miller Kina.
So that's Dennis Smith Jr.
Those guys are not there.
So we need Frank Miller Kina to penetrate or trying to penetrate.
And he doesn't have to do it to the point where he's turning the ball over.
But maybe a couple of moves here and there.
I'll take that, especially since David Fizdale is not playing, allows old tree here who right now is our best guard.
And maybe even when Dennis Smith Jr and Overpaid are playing, he still might be our best guard at attacking the basket because he knows when to pull up.
He can also score through contact.
They can get to the glass, you can get all the way to the glass.
I'm not gonna go there because we went there last night, you know? So I'm not gonna go that deep into it, you know, we'll see if Alonzo Trick gets on the floor.
David Fizdale, before the Boston game, did say that Alonzo Tree has to be ready.
That's all he said.
Kind of alluded to, You know, maybe we're going to get him in Didn't happen, But still, we'll get out in transition.
Look, Trailer can help us get out in transition to That's something he could do because he will attack the glass.
But anyway, I'm gonna move on from it.
I'm gonna move on from it.
Transition defense, right? We'll talk about taking care of the basketball, but there's gonna be some turnovers.
There's gonna be some turnovers, and that's also the King's heir.
Gonna rebound the basketball.
They may not win the rebound.
Win the rebounding battle.
We're gonna talk about that.
We better win the rebounding battle.
We should win the rebounding battle, but the King's heir gonna rebound the basketball.
And when they do, we can't let them get out in transition.
We've got to play transition defense.
Like I said, the Knicks give up 17.
8 points per game on the fast break.
Opponents scores 17.
8 points per game on the fast break transition defense.
Listen, world decent defense.
Okay? Mediocre defensive team.
When you put when you take the totality of the season Now, the last few games, you know against Orlando, we only gave up 95 points against Boston last night.
We gave up 104 points, so that's much better.
Okay, is much better, but we can.
We can make our defense even better that we played transition defense.
So I want to see some transition defense tomorrow night.
We gotta win the rebound in battle right when that rebounding battle, because we already Abbott, we average 48.
5 rebounds per game.
The Sacramento Kings average 41 rebounds a game.
Both teams are terrible shooting teams.
Okay, Sacramento Kings shoot 42.
2% from the field, the next shoot.
41.9% from the field.
Both teams are bad shooting teams.
There's going to be a lot of rebounds to be had, so the Knicks gotta go out and get those rebounds.
Go get the rebounds, what towards the top of the league and and uh and offensive rebounding for the top of the league and second chance points.
We're gonna be that because we missed so many shots, we got to continue it.
Let's not let the Sacramento Kings when that rebounding battle.
All right, let's control the glass.
Is clean the glass there.
No hero ball, Ladies and gentlemen, if it's a tight game and we get down to the clutch, get down into the clutch, let's trust each other a little more.
I do like that, Fizdale said.
We trusted each other a little bit more. The clutch.
Let's trust each other a little bit more.
The clutch, right? If we can trust each other in the clutch, get the ball to whose hat or get the ball.
Get the ball to whoever has the best shot.
Hopefully, will be successful, right? But those are my keys to the game again.
Take care of the ball, scoring the pain.
Get out in transition.
Play transition defense when the rebounding battle and though the hero ball garbage out the window and just played good basketball, whoever has the best shot takes the best shot.
When his heart gets the shot right.
That's what we want at the moment, ladies and gentlemen.
That's what we're looking for.
So you got If you want to call them, give me a call.

I'm coming back to Corinne and, uh, you know, Tell me, man. Corinne.
Yes, I'm course I like to start by saying this and respect to your channel is 453 people watching 37 lights.
We need to get some lights up.
Get him off so the channel could get out.
You know, just get your sin que main kincaid trying to get there, bro, which are eight.
You know, the other night, man, there was 2000 people on 1.9.
9000 people on that man.
Well, I was like, Okay, people, you know, And, you know, we were doing was a preview of the next versus Celtics.
So that's what's up.
That's big time stuff like that? Yep.
We got about 130 more people to go before we get to 10 k, you know, saying so.
We're gonna get there.
And definitely, man, but yeah, actually, um, like that break down and cause, you know, and I would love to see, I'm gonna watch the game some all Definitely.
Because, you know, you know, I want to, you know, see why both teams have the record.
You know, we know what makes either, but I want to see what he added.
I didn't You know that we have, you know, see you, economist st Stay, mate.
But I saw someone right in the chat to that.
We mean more pick and roll.
And I definitely agree, because imagine how unstoppable um, more, um, Randall would be.
He learned how to use a pick and roll.
It would be be. Would be unstoppable.
You know, what I remember was a play where Frank Brandon picking roll with him.
He didn't even know how what he was doing.
It was like a foreign concept, you know? Yeah, but it's like I don't I don't see it.
I'm like that. We've said no screen.
I get, like to set a screen like I never see screen.
Yeah, well, you know, we don't set many off ball squeeze.
The only time I see it sets screens is when Wayne Ellington is in the game, and it's really it's really just one play that they dio when Ellington is in the corner and they set a double screen so that he can come off those two screens and come off the top of the it gets the ball humble its ability.
Yet it also we use the screen and roll more.
That's how you get this switching and get a favorable matchup, right? Like other teams toe.
Yeah, you spoke about Frank going to the basket.
Not only does he have a speedy has the size, he's learned how to use a Sizemore.
He's bigger than most opposing point guards abused.
Amused? Besides you, Delenn.
Usual over seven.
Arm What we scram, man.
Yeah, and look, you know, I keep advocating for a lineup that has Bobby Portis, Mitchell Robinson, Wayne Ellington, Kevin knocks and you know your guard, frankly, Latina in the game and then use Mitchell Robinson in the high screen and roll because you guys shooters that could spread the floor.
You should be able to get some so some clean looks at the basket for Mitchell Robinson. One.
I just want to get Mitchell Robinson more involved in the offense, right? Get him more involved in the offense.
Get him doing something besides standing there looking around.
And I'm telling you, Mitchell Robertson on the floor with Julius Randle to me.
But Mitchell, what were Julius Randle and markets Moors? Those three guys together? Mitchell Robinson, Julius Randle.
I don't come off the bench.
Yeah, honestly, I think is, um It's either you start Portis, but that will leave.
Was gonna born the paint or you take out Morris and bring in not started.
That's That's the innocent, I'm saying, like because it's all politics and this the MBA.
So you knock on 60 $60 million man.
Right, Come on, the right.
That's not gonna happen.
That's not what you're doing.
This $60 million man.
It'd service because you're not getting him the bowl in his spot.
And to be fair, Morris is not playing the way play last.
He's always trying to think instead of playing right, he's speaking too much.
He's putting the pressure on himself because this is the first time he's the guy? Uh huh.
You know, he's sitting over sitting, you know, overbear himself with that title mentally.
Yeah, and see, I see a lot of times, man, when my thing with Mitchell, Robinson and Randall on the floor is this Mitchell Robinson had, You know, he can't spread the floor all the way out to the three point line.
And so what happens is this Julius Randle has the ball in the post.
Mitchell Robertson kind of goes to the short corner because that that's about where his ranges in the short corner, right? And then when Mitchell went when Julius Randle makes a move, Mitchell Robinson's guy leaves and double teams from the back side goes, and then another guy rotates down, just in case Julius Randle can dump the ball off to Mitchell Robinson know saying so.
Someone's there, and Julius Randle gets a double or triple team with somebody coming from the back side, and he can't see that person coming.
Hopefully, the Knicks are looking at film and seeing that person coming, Uh, and he could think about that.
But one way to alleviate it, it's not have Mitchell Robinson and Julius Randall on the floor together.
Have Julius Randle and ah, Julius Randle and Bobby Portis on the floor together.
Because Bobby Portis can take that opposing center, move him out to the three point line.
Now, you can't bring that center around too.
Ah, T double team from the backside.
That center, that center can't run baseline and then double teamed by, uh, Julius Randle, since the night of floors, a little bit more spread.
I think that's the way to alleviate it.
Um, even if you don't, even if you don't do it, I mean, obviously, Bobby Portis and Julius Randle play together, uh, during the course of the game, you know, if he's going to stick with Mitchell Robson into starting lineup, you know, stick with it for however long you're gonna do it.
You know, I can understand.
You're you know, you're starting the game you got Mitch, you got Frank.
You know, Frank could play defense and the guards get steals.
Robinson can help protect the paint to try to start the game off.
But I think throughout the game you've got to get Mitchell Robinson out there with a lineup that does not include Julius Randle and does not include Marcus Morris.
Well, maybe Marcus Moore, because Marcus Morris can spread the floor right? So if you wanted to have a lineup, that's Marcus Morris meets Robinson, Britney Latina or R.
Barrett, Wayne Ellington and Kevin Knox.
Right that way, you know the floor could be spread so that we could get mental Robinson to the basket running to the rim.
I'm saying we could get Mitchell Robinson running to the reference of Alley.
I mean, that's about all that you can do right now is run to the rim of block shots, but at least we get some.
We get some more offensive production, not just him getting getting to follow.
What rebound with you? That's a good job at doing, sometimes getting those follow what rebounds and dunking it in and and whatever it is, you know.
But if we can get some more from him on the offensive side and make a move threat and ease some of the pressure off of some of the other guys that are trying to force it like Marcus Morris in Julius Randle, you know me.
Ah, I really want to see Mitch with that kind of a line up on the floor and see if we can get R J bed and frankly, Latina, uh, helping him to run to the Raman Getsem lobs at the rim, You know, off am I ducked Greek summer, then even like add on to what you just said, right? The point you just made right and I want I want to get your opinion on.
I can tell that Fizdale was not a great excess and those coach on paper, But you can see it right? But I like him is the coach, but he needs to get a supporting cast that can help him with that.
Even his assistant coaches that can help him dropping scheme.
What? I also was telling somebody I was speaking in one of my friends about this as well.
I think that since there's no like, it used to be Where your veterans on your team with 38.
36 you don't have that anymore.
I think a lot of these guys that like like you're Dewayne Wage Kobe Bryant.
Steve Guys, I've just retired.
They should put these guys on the payrolls of these different teams to help out toe work with the place to help develop the player.
But I I really believe that Fizdale needs about of supporting cats.
He needs somebody that could draw up some scheme.
You know, it just really get some.
I'm set some actions because I don't see it.
I agree with you 100% man, because I don't see it either.
No, I'm saying I'm not seeing the sets of nothing actually weighing Ellington's.
But we see it coming, man.
So the opposing team be laughing like they just see it.
Come see coming.
Haven't seen while getting stashed like a sandwich.
Oh, you know, Yeah, we see it coming or he catches the ball about the top of the key, and it goes nowhere.
And nothing really happens from it, you know, saying, Yeah, there's no way that you can be more innovative that you can't be more innovative with Wayne Ellington in the style.
He please not just wait.
Ellenson, Wayne Ellington and Amy Dots.
And they played the same style.
I'm coming off those curves. Yeah.
I'm not just saw somebody right in the check.
They were saying that he should be an assistant coach.
I eat by India coat, but I feel like every team knees, that assistant coach or just person now, even if it might assist the coat.
Some are usar team of people that you got stashed away I could destroy.
I was just like masterminds, like, really optimize your team that I still have.
These players are not being used to their full potential the and we're doing them a disservice.
I'm not using them to their full potential.
Yeah, yeah, and this is why players don't develop players.
Don't you know, like is when you see the NBA's now? Because I can't even just say it's the mix.
Who's really running something that's like, Oh, my God, like they like They just had the person.
Now that's just drawing up this wicked plaids.
Most of the people they have a guard that's going collapse the defense, if you want to call it that and then pass out the chute, right? Right.
That's all they do.
Yeah, yeah, without a doubt.
Hey, let me get you a couple phone calls.
I be back to you.
Call the young live another.
But needs was popping.
I'm telling man how you Oh, good.
You still talking lineup? Yeah.
Yeah, well, you know, lineups, anything.
Sacramento Kings and Knicks.
That's what we're talking right now.
What? I was aiming the shot was basically, can't please.
And And you will be Florrick or Robinson.
You can't blame were Morris because they both to up the clock.
You came playing with Robinson because this expression So they got it. They got a separate.
That and what I was.
What I was saying is, basically, I think you should start.
Ah, by reporters above reporters.
I know stead of movers.
And Mitt, the defense is gonna suffer.
What if that's the route that you wanna go offensively? I think that the the father that you throw out there looking for orphans as it spread the floor, you gots to resort physically, got shooters.
The thing you have.
Who could beat him to get that one on one down low? Because everybody asked him he'd have to respect the shooters around them.
You mean Randall can get that one on one down low? Exactly.
So that's what we're saying.
That's all the same if you want to go, Francis, I think that's the far.
But you grew up here.
Okay, I'm only another another unit.
That out that might work is ah, as my four words.
I'll throw Bobby all right, because Bobby doesn't necessarily buy because spread the floor, it's Bobby and Morris could spread the floor to spend the floor.
And then you have to guard.
So I think that could be, like a second.
Because whichever you want, right? Nothing, right.
I think that's another way.
That's another unit for their canoes.
That it won't mess with the Florida orphan right so much, Right? No way.
Would you listen, I agree with you, man.
I really think we need to switch around.
Starting lineup daily.
Julius Randall is not gonna come out.
Yes, starting lineup, you know, Eh? So you got to get some more shooting around them, so we don't.
So he's not getting these The reason why you couldn't get these double and triple teams because we're not spreading the floor.
Well, you know, if you got people that's gonna knock down that three, you're not going to see so many double triple teams down there, the the firm domesticate.
But it's not like it's like it's not like we don't have shooters, you have shooters on the team.
The thing is that they're not being questioned.
Position be ableto you know what I'm saying? The board get stagnant, everybody starts looking.
That's the reason my Ellington is claiming out because election is a dude that's constantly moving.
So that hopes the offerings.
Even if people don't see, I've noticed yesterday on my boat, like even though they do, they're not scoring.
He's helping the orphans open.
The orphans get the bull moved around that is constantly moving.
So they got to respect the warrant.
He's loving the game and feel like a tree.
Morris has been born in tan.
Everybody starts ball watching, but doesn't have to keep L.
A. Jim. Everything.
He keeps moving, and at some point the board finds him because it's always moving.
Anybody else gets caught ball watching when him, at times parting.
That's the value Elegies, the electric.
Bring on top of that.
You could You okay? The friend I was Well, yeah.
That's the value that he brings to the team and you know, Yeah, I don't know.
I don't know. I don't know.
You know, Fizdale is going to stick with Mitch stopping, you know, I think he's over.
He said that? I don't know if that's the right move at the moment.
And I feel I feel the heat coming off the bench if you're gonna, you know, and it's not wrong when I'm coming off the bench.
He's only playing 17 18 minutes a game right now, anyway.
But you know what? Yeah.
If Bill, it's Mark.
I said they want to get off to work for the friends will start, right? I'm not.
I'm not mad at that at that.
At that flag back wants to throw out there for it.
If you're gonna boot at that when they bring in their second unit, you bring in your offensive unit.
But we could at least parts and score.
Get that indepent, go get some points in while they have their second unit.
Which is probably It's not gonna be a good defensive unit anyway.
Right, So that's what I'm thinking. I don't know.
Yeah, And I feel you, man There's a lot of work that has to be done with the lineup or or is there a lot of work? I don't know.
Fizdale just has to make the He's got the pieces in the players.
He's gotta put him together the right way.
Yeah, I think he's having trouble with that leg.
Yes, Nothing he seen it was a blast being where everybody else, him and I don't get it.
Like for Yeah, I don't know.
I'm being there for my my phone in my TV something and that That's what you should be going for.
Uh oh, I feel you, bro.
Don't feel what a lot of people have faint fool like he doesn't want to, like, you know, if these two does come back, man, and he gives the administer Frank, I mean, six weeks transmitting.
I don't even know out of gonna work.
Yeah, I don't know.
I don't know that that's that's gonna be That's gonna be wild if he if he if he does that, you know, you people are without up.
Yeah, but after she could see a m being a backup for Frank, we start in a Frank because they're basically the same.
Clear what? What was prior to something he was then? And I don't I don't see.
I really don't see a place for him on this because he doesn't give you anything offensively.
Yeah, at least not compared to what? Pay it and yeah, Yeah, that's gonna be interesting to see what happens when Dennis Smith Jr and L for Peyton get back.
Especially like you're saying with Dennis Miller, Jr.
You know, I know Fizdale is gonna want to throw him out there, you know, and see if he can if you can get him going this season.
Oh, we shouldn't see Miss.
You expect that and we don't see a I appreciate the car manual.
It's gonna be some interesting things going on.
Um, interesting things going on.
Ah, Couple of tidbits about the Sacramento Kings in the New York Knicks.
The Kings have won three games straight over the Knicks and seven of the last 10 dating back to the 14 4015 season.
Sacramento's seven and three record against New York since 2015 is its best against any opponent over that time.
Go figure the Knicks have been one of the worst team teams in the league over that time.
Go figure that it's a gentleman.
We got Isaiah Chatman.
Finally, I say is in the chat at a decent time when I'm not getting ready to end it.
Hey, can, you know, get his little words in? I was there Is going on, man with the big yellow l s u showed on.
What's up, bro? How're you feeling? I say you there.
I guess I say is not there.
Ready? See what they see? That this guy may? I don't know.
So what? I say it, man.
Oh, no, it's funny, right? Queen is guy.
You don't know what's going on with a man, But until we get Isiah back, I'm gonna go ahead and review again.
Just some stuff pertaining to the Knicks and the Sacramento Kings.
I take a look at this information again.
For those who are just joining us, the Knicks and the King's played to model night.
Ladies and gentlemen, it please him all night.
Six PM, remember, It's an early game.
I don't sleep on it.
It is an early game, and it starts at six o'clock make sure you're ready for that.
Don't forget, it's all a game.
Tomorrow starts at six o'clock.
The Knicks are home at Madison Square Garden.
Make sure you wait to check that out tomorrow night. Starters.
You got Frank Miller Kina facing off against the inner Fox at the point guard spot God R J.
Barry facing off against Buddy Healed.
Um, Julius Randle.
Worse pneumonia, yelling.
So, like I said, All right, be Elisa.
And then you got Mitchell Robinson facing up against me.
Sean Holmes and I say facing off against each other but matched up against Let me say that that's a little bit better.
That's was matching up against each other again.
Frank Millikin again his second start of the season.
The Knicks both teams that one in five.
I already said of the necks of shooting 100 the Knicks of scoring 100.
8 points per game that giving up 108.
8 points per game.
If field goal percentage, they shoot 41.
9% from the field on average, 35.
5 rebounds per game are the average 17.
5 assistant, 18.
4 turnovers per game.
The Sacramento Kings and I need to fix this for you guys, ladies and gentlemen, because I didn't fix it before, I So I'm gonna go ahead and fix the turnovers or the Sacramento Kings.
But while I'm doing this work here, ladies and gentlemen, the Sacramento Kings, they scored 99.
2 points per game.
Uh, their opponents are scoring 113.
2 points per game.
And I'm gonna get this back up on the screen shortly.
You know, just be a little bit patient as I get there.
All right? They shoot 42.
2% from the field.
The Sacramento Kings do.
All right, so the Knicks have got to take care of glass.
Ladies and gentlemen, I got this back over there now. Good.
The Sacramento Kings.
The shooting 32.
4% from three get grabbed 41 rebounds a game.
8 a sister game in 19.
3 turnovers per game by the next defense of ratings, one of 7.6.
That's 19th in the league defensive rating for the Sacramento Kings is 1 12.
4 That's 25th in the league.
The next offensive ratings.
3 that's 27th and lead towards the bottom and the Sacramento Kings.
Or towards the bottom in that area.
The offensive rating is 99 as 28th in the league.
Take a look at some of the keys to the game when these guys need to.
D'oh! The Knicks need to take care of the basketball.
Take care of that bull.
We don't want the Sacramento Kings running out in transition Now.
The Knicks did a good job against Boston, managing their turnovers, not turning the ball over crazy, all right, but they need to take care of the basketball game.
The average 17 turnovers per game.
The Knicks also give up 17.
8 points per game in transition on the fast break.
If you take care of the basketball, you can eliminate those fast break points by opposing teams right now, Alan, you're not gonna eliminate them altogether.
But you can eliminate me.
Some of them half of those points you can eliminate half of those points.
The Knicks take care of the basketball.
Ah, fast break points per game will go down to nine or 10.
Take care the ball the next.
Gotta score the paint.
The Sacramento Kings give up 50.
3 points per game in the paint, one of the worst in the league. Toys.
The bottom of the league.
The next guy is going to paint.
Used Julius Randle used Bobby Portis.
Even tired. Skips is good. Scorn and paint.
Find a way to get some penetration.
Maybe use a lot of TRIA since he could penetrate to the basket.
Maybe use a lot.
So trying to get into the paint.
Let's find a way to get into a paint because they're vulnerable in that area, obviously, and teams were able to score the paint against them.
Let's score the paint transition.
Let's try to get out in transition.
The Knicks don't get out in transition.
What toys? The vile um off the league and transitions scoring and fast break points.
The Knicks it towards the bottom of the league.
We need to get out in transition right now we don't have a lot of fast guards out there.
I mean, frankly, leukemia can be fast when he wants to, but he doesn't utilize his speed like he can and like he should.
He doesn't utilize that speed.
Trey's a guy that can help us get out in transition.
Now, Coach fares.
If you're watching and I'm gonna tell you what I think Coach is wise in the show.
Coach Fizdale does have a post of what the pant fans feel.
He listens to stuff.
He watches stuff.
I know he does, because I see sometimes the lineup changes that he makes is congruent with what fans are asking for.
It happens like that.
A lot of times I don't know.
Maybe the fans is just so smart and he's like and then he does it to.
So it seems like he's following what the fans are saying.
But it seems like he does that sometimes.
Well, maybe he just does watch the show, and he gets his tips from the show.
So, coach, if you couldn't get tips if you get some tips from the show and We are helping you tow assistant coach, the team, get traer out dead.
He can help with score in transition.
He can help us score and 1/2 court as well.
See what he does.
Give it a go, man.
I don't know what's going on in the locker room, though, so I can't answer for that.
But get a kid to go.
But let's try to get out in transition, man and try to get some easy buckets.
Pick up the pace a little bit.
We also gotta play transition defense folks.
Like I said, we give up 17.
8 points per game on a fast break.
Another way to eliminate or try to bring that score down your opponent.
Opposing teams don't want all over us and score crazy points, especially with the air on Fox out there.
Guys, quick, he's fast.
Gotta play transition defense.
We got a win win the rebounding battle.
The Sacramento Kings.
They shoot a poultry 42.
2% from the field and the Knicks are worse.
9% from the field that there's going to be a lot of basketballs bouncing around unless one of these teams getting hot.
The Kings did shoot 48% from the field last night in his the Utah Jazz.
But we gotta win this rebound in battle, the next towards the top of the league in rebounding, offensive rebounding, Uh, and rebounding as a whole.
We gotta win that rebounding battle, which was the top of the league of second chance points.
We got to continue to win his rebound in battle, but if we win the rebound, the battle, we get offensive rebounds, we can negate some of that transition.
Uh, you know, you know, some of the transitions scoring now.
I'm not saying that the Sacramento Kings scored a lot in transition, but what I'm saying is that the Knicks give up a lot of points in transition and the Knicks turn over the basketball.
You put those two things together and the air on Fox with his speed against the Knicks, they could score on the break.
It could happen so that, but if the Knicks take care of the basketball, it plays some transition defense and they grab rebounds.
They grab offensive rebounds.
You can cut that out, didn't cut that out.
No hero ball, Ladies and gentlemen, no hero ball game gets down into the clutch.
Let's trust each other.
Let's play together.
Let's play for each other where he's got the hot hand, that that's what gets the shot when the ball moves, Whoever's open, that's what gets the shot.
That's what we want to try to do.
That's what we want to try to do.

You can get to the even, get to the Cup.
You can not got a mid range and he could not get down from three.
It smell, Abdi said.
Turnovers are the main issue with us right now.
We did take care of the ball against the Celtics.
We did a better job taking care of the ball against the Celtics and you could see it was a close game.
Well, yes, we got to take care of that, Basketball said.
We can't give up the basketball.
We can't turn the ball over and shoot a bad percentage and expect to win basketball games.
You know it's not gonna happen that way.
It's not gonna happen that way.
So yes, they definitely need to take care of the basketball, You know, saying Esco, you said man fish runs the same **** played 95% of the time.
You're right and those plays a going eastern west, not north and south.
Well, we definitely got to get that going in to see who also I want thought was going to take.
Ladies and gentlemen.

I got about nine minutes left, ladies and gentlemen, So if you want to get your calls and make sure you call me again 516452246 Tomorrow night 6 p.m.
The Knicks play Sacramento Kings.
All right, let's get back to guys in the video chat saying Getsem last takes Oh, big freezing in the building.
Well, talking about egg freezing in the building feeling that And then I got my man in purple I'll you know, in the build. Oh, no.
You know, I mean, this is all purple.
Oh, no one knew what was going on.
No sound big, Frese, what's goes You're crazy was 70 brother.
How you been? All right, man, I'm chilling, man.
I'm doing pretty good.
So what do you think? What do you think about, um, this game all man, I'm looking forward to what, man? I'm excited.
I'm excited to see what Franken do against on top level point, boss.
That such? You know, I'm saying, um, excited about starting to move the ball around.
Um, you know, the Kings are in the same situation that we're in somewhat where, you know, they failed on getting the free agents that they want it.
But we're just gonna play the young guys and the guy that they have when they're vengeance.
That saw, you know, we'll see.
Is this a must win? But the Knicks there? Yeah.
It's definitely a must win.
It's It's a must win, because this is this is like a measuring stick game for us.
You know, I'm saying that, you know, are we who we think we are, or did we overrate ourselves? You know, you play the celtics pretty clothes and all the other playoff teams Pretty post.
But if we move to a team that we think is a CZ not as good as us.
Then that means we have to reevaluate who you are is a team.
You know, the way we move to the caves, and especially if they give us the business.
Yeah, man, we have to re evac three lacing stuff.
Yeah, Yeah, I agree with you, man.
I agree with you and, you know, we want to start off.
You know, we have a little bit of, Ah, a soft stretching the schedule.
You know, we need to take advantage of this soft stretch.
So we got eight games coming up and all of them are winnable.
We need to take advantage of these games.
I'm hoping we could go six and two on this stretch.
That's what I'm looking forward to.
Well, I'm I'm optimistic, man.
I think all the games that we play this year, we had a legit shot at winning all those games.
Unfortunately, some things didn't go our way.
Um, you know, we missed some India the blowout game to the Celtics.
We missed a few shots, um, towards the end of the third quarter, beginning to fall quarter, that could have you know that could if they would have gone down, You know, the game outcome of the game would have looked different.
You know, I'm saying right and the same thing with the Spurs game where it's nip and tuck, nip and tuck.
You know, a few shots go in.
You know, guys passed the ball instead of, you know, looking to be the hero.
You know, I think we could probably pull that game out, too.
So So I think we're I think we're a pretty good team, but definitely If we lose the Sacramento tomorrow, we definitely have to reevaluate.
You haven't gone to see? I got my man over here with the purple.
What with the purple haze, man.
I'm just a little hazy.
A purple haze, you know, saying, Ah, purple haze was Papa was your problem.
I can't hear you, my man.
You hear me? Now? There we go.
My belly's blocking it, but, uh, yeah, I got I got peer pressure to join the chap bruh Famous and Guillermo Guillermo's And he was gonna block me.
If I You guys see, that's the reason why I'm about the switch up and take these minds out people abusing a ma They really mean man abusing the monster.
So what's the name of the chat, bro? My name? Uh J You can call me J.
All right, All right.
So give me your take, man.
What's your take on? Ah, game.
Is it a must win? Yeah, absolutely.
It's a must win.
You want Anna? He's coaching worse than Fizdale is right now.
Brody, we said we should definitely come up for Oh, Well, he's bad about it.
Uh, King's Twitter or whatever you wanna call it, is up in arms alternately calling for his job.
We okay? Way doesn't go to get that dog way.
Got it. We got our own.
He's upto like the starting lineup.
So, bro, uh, that Morris Randall Mitch, uh, you know, front court is need man's, you know, there's no movement is no, There's no, uh, movement facing a terrible Mitch can't get his usual lobs like he was getting last year because it's on a clogged up.
Yeah, man, Yeah, yeah.
We're gonna see what we're gonna see. What Fizdale can do.
Hopefully, Like I said, I feel like Fizdale pays attention to everything that happens with Nick's.
Nick's not just next Twitter, but social media.
Nick's content creators.
I feel like it still pays Attention.
No, I was gonna hopefully He's listening.
When? When everyone was cheering for Frank.
It That's out This game.
It seems like all this spring.
No, no. Yeah, exactly.
I was at the game yesterday.
I was just talking my boy Gregor face.
It's an important game.
Every game is important. At this point.
You gotta turn it around somehow, being that their Kings didn't make the playoffs last year, I would like to, you know, come out and get this wins.
But I think it's gonna take.
It's gonna take, um, Dale taking command as a coach.
And I'm asking Julius Randle Absolutely.
And why? So I like the day.
I think he has good principles.
I think he has a good idea how to be a coach, but he's a novice coach and, like one of the coldest said, Well, no, no, that dude, I'm guessing my show.
What his name is, He say he was right.
That is the only way to get the right guys around him.
You know who offensive Gru's God.
You could put together a system, you know, and then they have to be.
Such a complicated system could just be perpetual motion.
There's just no movement off the ball.
You know, when the strong side has the bullet is just nothing going on on the weak side, not even a down pick for for Knox to come up in this.
Keep the defensive player of honesty.
Just sitting there waiting to help.
Randall makes a move, and they're you know, they're right there on the up under him. That's right.
There's no offensive creativity, you know.
And one thing I must say, I like trail.
I want him to play.
I personally don't think that, uh, a Wayne Ellington has given traer space to play.
Yet he's had a lot of big shots at opportune times in the game.
In my opinion, you know what I mean? I feel like you know, I'm still he consistently doesn't play badly.
He's playing solid defense, too.
I know trailer has way more potential, and I do want to see him out there.
But I just feel like Wayne Ellington kind of is like playing decent.
They should do is use Ellington, though in the Novak wrote instead of given in 30 minutes of game starting him, you know, let him play 17 18 minutes a game, coming for three minutes, four minutes.
Birds begin, get hot.
One a different play.
Like they run the same.
Like, you know, that's the only place that is their runs.
Like the only one playing this playbook.
Is that Wayne Ellington crowing to the top of the three pointer? That my light? It seems like, you know, it's so basic.
Teams have figured it out.
I don't know if you noticed that butt.
It's just like a big deal.
But I think we're gonna win some more ago.
Honestly, I think we're going to come out. We're gonna win.
And, uh, as 1 88 thoughts on it.
Yeah, well, I'm hoping we're gonna come out, and we're gonna win. I do.
I definitely agree with you.
You know what? It with the fish? Their offense, man, is that it's very, you know, basic.
Um, like I said that we've up at the top.
Yeah, very high school to me, you know, saying I mean, you know, that we've and it doesn't work That keeps us going east and west, East or west.
It doesn't work, you know.
I mean, um, so, yeah, I agree with Corinne.
We need somebody that can help Fitz get more creative on the offensive side.
You know, a man I have a feeling you're gonna trade with Chris School.
That's another thing.
Open it like this.
So you may be around in late December.
We have to give up alive to make the money match.
I'm gonna have to give up.
Um, what's his name? Gibson.
Uh, maybe a second round pick up a second round.
Pigs, You know, protect it.
Takes and a Dennis.
Maybe we could make the contracts work.
You find a couple guys? Yeah.
Well, yea, but it would be like bullets and Maurice games in one voice of some.
Man, that's that's That's that. We'll see.
We'll see how if that happens, I think there might be more interested in What's the call over there? D'Angelo, Russell, then Chris. Paul.
But Chris Paul, you know, after this season, Chris Paul has one more year after this season on his contract.
Um, two more years.
But I will say this if we didn't have Chris Paul like, let's say we can We manage to keep more? No, on our team.
I mean, we got we got Chris. Cool.
Do you know Randall? I mean, not Random was imported.
Gibson, you know, a couple of plays, Angela replays thrown Ellington because they want to get rid of Krystal.
They'll take expiring contract back, make it work, and we'll throw in a pickle, too.
Like I'm talking my second round pick.
No, I mean and then a well protected first round pick.
You know, uh, they'll take that Chris Paul because they want to get a book, their contract.
But we did have Chris full where we are a playoff.
I mean, I would agree with that if you had Chris Paul were playoff team, you know, probably because he'd be able to, you know, he'd be able to orchestrate things for you.
You know, I'm saying and the defense is gonna be better as well because, you know, and he's demanding.
I mean, it would be a different team you know, how far deep in the playoffs do you go? Probably first round because you need some more guys that can, you know, we need more, um, as wishes contract wasn't what it what it is, you know, because while that's good now, but it's just temporary face.
Have busy, have we're gonna just be.
But the four point part of getting, like, created so many hand resistant 2021 that two guys a 21 free agency's contract would hamper is down a little bit a worldwide man.
I appreciate the call.
Yes, sir, I I'm going to get up out of here, So I appreciate you, man.
Ever going? You too, brother.
I base and I do want to update you guys a little bit on.
I had to make a couple of changes I needed.
I had to make a couple of updates on ah, on some of the stats with the Kings in the Knicks.
So I'm gonna update you real quick.
We're gonna run through Ah, looking at some of the stats and line up so that everything real quick and then I'll be out of here, folks.
No, I'm saying they're not be glowing.
So let's take a look at this one more time.
We're gonna take a look at it one more time.
The Knicks played the King's at Madison Square Garden tomorrow night at 6 p.m.
So remember, it's an early game.
Early games and make sure you're ready for it.
Don't forget, said your Reminders Early game tomorrow, the Knicksfirst Sacramento Kings looking at the starting line up.
She got the Knicks.
Frank Miller came that point guard R J.
Buried at shooting guard Marcus Morris at small forward Julius Randle at power forward Mitchell Robertson.
That center war.
The Sacramento Kings.
You got the Fox at point guard, but he healed a shooting guard.
Harrison Barnes at small forward on the mija.
Mija, Um bl Li Liza at power forward and with Sean Holmes at center.
All right for the Knicks.
Dennis Smith Jr is out.
Overpaying is out.
Reggie Bullock, of course, is out.
All right, let's take a look at some of the stats, and I show you what I had to fix.
Well, as we do his team comparison, Both teams are one and five on the season.
The Knicks score 100.
8 points per game.
It gave up 108 points per game.
41.9% from the field, 35.6% from three.
And they grab 48.
5 rebounds per game.
That's towards the top of the league.
I made a mistake here.
I had the Knicks at 17.
8 or whatever it was.
3 assists per game is what they're averaging now and the average 17.
5 turnovers per game.
I had that at 18.6.
I don't even know where that number came from, so I made that adjustment.
The Knicks average 19.
3 assists per game and 17.
5 turnovers per game.
The next defense of rating is 107.6.
That's good for 19th in the league and the offensive ratings 100.3.
That's 27th in the league offense.
Not looking good, folks.
The Kings course.
Like I said again, a one in five.
They averaged 99.
2 points per game.
They gave up 113.2 points per game.
2% from the field.
They grab 41 rebounds per game.
They're assist numbers.
They averaged 19.
3 assists per game, same as the next tide with the Knicks.
And they turned the ball over about 17.
8, uh, times per game or the average 17.
8 turnovers per game.
And I had to fix those two numbers for the Sacramento Kings as well, ladies and gentlemen.
All right, The King's defense of radios 1 12.
4 That's good for 25th in the league and the offensive rating is 99 is good for 28th in the league.
So you got two teams who have very, very similar numbers will be battling it out, try to go to on five and sal***e their season at this young stage of the of the season.
The keys to the game, folks. One.
The Knicks got to take care of the basketball.
Let's not let the air Fox.
Those guys get out on the break because we're turning over the ball.
You see, we average 17 turnovers begin.
Let's take care of the basketball.
8 points per game on the break in transition.
Part of that is because we turned the ball over so much stake here.
The basketball will get that number down.
That's going to paint the King's give up 50.
3 points per game in the paint.
It's going to paint.
Let's use guys like Julius Randle, Bobby Portis.
Marcus Morris type skips in.
Let's try to get in the paint without guards.
Barrett, Frank Miller, Kina Maybe even allows old trade.
If we can get in the paint and score, take advantage of one of their weak points, one of their weaknesses, Let's get out in transition.
Going to be easier said that done, Because the Kings are fifth in the league and allowing opponents to score on the fast break ponies.
Opponents only scored 10 points per game on the fast break in transition against the Sacramento Kings.
But the next look it well, one of the best rebounding teams in the league.
A lot of that is office of rebounding, though, and this is part of the reason why the Knicks are not good at scoring in transition because We're at the top of the league in all offensive rebounding, but we're like 20 or 21 or 22 defensive rebounding and when you're that low in defense of rebounding.
But in fact, I'm gonna tell you right now.
The Knicks, our 18th in the league in defense of rebounding.
They're actually tied for 18th with the Pelicans with 35 defensive rebounds for gain.
Right, that's that's actually kind of mediocre.
And if you're not grabbing defensive rebounds and guess what, it's harder to get out of transition score in transition.
So let's try to dominate that defense of glass tomorrow against the Kings.
Get out in transition and score.
Try to get some easy buckets.
But again, the Kings played good transition defense.
We've gotta play good transition defense again.
8 points per game. The transition.
70.8 points per game.
On the break, we give up 17.
Part of it is bad transit transition defense.
If the Knicks, you take care of the ball offensive rebounds.
We're already one of the top offensive rebounding teams in the league and play transition defense.
We could cut down these opponents, scoring on the brake.
When the rebounding battle that goes along with playing transition defense.
Right, that goes along with us.
You know, we win the rebound.
We grab these defensive rebounds so we can get out on the break.
We grab offensive rebounds so that we can stop teams from scoring on a fast break.
When this rebounding battle, we already average more rebounds than them.
Let's see what the Sacramento Kings do with defensive rebounding the deep.
The Sacramento Kings are last in the league in defense of rebounding, 29.8.
So if we could keep them off the glass so that they do not get out in transition, we grab some offensive rebounds.
We could school.
We get it, we'll put it back, keep them from getting out and running well.
We grab some defensive rebounds so we could get out and run.
What we gotta do.
Ladies and gentlemen, let's China play smart.
Sign up, trust each other, right? Give the ball to whose high whoever's hitting they get a chance to score more in the clutch or we just move the basketball where was open a school.
I laid the gentleman east to the game.
Tomorrow night, the Knicks played the Sacramento Kings in New York.
Don't forget it.
I have to get about here.
Ladies and gentlemen, you get some last words from these guys.
I didn't get no last words for myself saying he looks like a pimp that couldn't control these ladies.
So he's home power in.
That's what it looks like right now.
I can't get no last words from him.
No saying look at missing.
What? Isaiah, man, take that.
Still get out of here.
Yeah, is doing is tripping.
Hey, a cream man.
What's going on, man? Yeah, I would say I veil, but making wouldn't do rag Oh, 00 Nobody told man Come in with it laid out.
Yeah, Coming and looking all crazy, man Now, but, um I honestly may I was saying when I think we're gonna win this game, I also think that Fizdale is going to play treated tomorrow.
Okay, I believe he is because we're gonna need him also what I wanted to bring up earlier man, is this.
With this city, we can't be playing the eight man rotation.
I was struck with death.
Yeah, I agree with you.
At least have 11.
You just get a plan time.
I'm not playing.
You going with eight? I mean, I know L for paying Dennis magic, you know? Yeah.
I mean, I mean, he went with eight.
He went with eight last night, and I mean, he could go with dots in the tree to give us some help from that guard spot.
We played three guards last night. Three guards.
It's not the playoffs.
No, I mean, I guess maybe he's treating it like the playoffs.
He's really trying to get these wins.
And for whatever reason, I guess he just doesn't have any belief in tree or Dotson.
I don't know now, but that's but that's the thing about it.
Those it's like, is basically, man, we our ship is in my debt and and now is that was a big in the case in, But, you know, it was that was we indicated that, you know.
So it's like that's that's why strength lies we got.
It could be 11 guys in that rotation.
The most intense I'm saying where and when You have 11 guys, you can You could have more more diverse lineup soup.
We said we were gonna be I see a line up with Randall can thrive in the five.
I think he I think Randall place, um, five against the Celtics last night.
But he's not. He's not playing.
He not playing also.
Like played him and the five Morrison before.
Knock some of three in a some saying tree and in the end, it in the tool.
And if this do, um, was healthy have paid and running the point in that line.
Yeah, Look, looking to set people up.
And also, if this do Randall had a pick and roll game, man, it will be unstoppable.
Uh, you're the only one going.
I feel you there.
You know, Queen my appreciate you, man.
Six of time out. Likewise.
Have a good one.
Likewise, letting some face purple haze and coming a purple haze.
Man, you might give us some last words real quick.
Yeah, I've got too much to say.
Um I like what he was talking about.
That with Julius Randle at the five.
I think they at the end of the Chicago game had Julius Randle playmaking out the middle at the five position.
That's when he hit, you know, by reporters on those corner threes.
It looked like some magic.
He found some magic.
Now I've got much to say. I'm a call this morning.
I got a lot to say.
I was my first time.
I'm a little nervous.
Yeah, you see it? You don't, man.
You sure have a go man, eyepiece.
You also give you some last words real quick.
I'm about to get about here.
Yeah, I'm gonna do my real quick man first.
I just want to tell you. Thank you, man.
I met you like, a couple of years ago.
I It seemed like when my brother was sick and I was at the hospital, man like Kenny's parking decks trying to clear my mind.
And I saw you doing the show.
So I just jump on sitting in truck in a dark, this chopping up, which all about my about the things I loved them knicks and sports.
But recently my brother passed away from that sickness.
He was you know he was fighting, man.
And I got a hit on because I was thinking, like, just topping that, which are late at night.
Kind of helped me get in some of that stuff.
No, no, I just want to just, you know how I let you and let you know.
And I appreciate you.
You know what I was going through, You know, I'm saying, but just, you know, I'm saying being a break away from that kind of help me or whatever, but I just wanna thank you for that.
And then Plus, I just want to kind of hang myself on the back and brag a little bit about how I told everybody we should take Paul J. Barrett.
Yeah, yeah, I remember that.
And he's killing me up, and he's killing to you and tell you, but but anyway, I think he the peace we need, man.
We just need to get developed the other guys, man.
And then we'll be on our way to what we used to talk about last year.
So that's all I got.
A microdot assist you in your family too, man.
Oh, no. Cesar magazine.
That may not be back on now, man.
I got some, you know, some time, you know, to get on and chop it up.
Which arm Straight.
You don't appreciate it.
Yeah, I have that base go.
Emma and I was there.
What? I said, though, man taking this guy, but I don't know what he's doing.
Ladies and gentlemen, I'm outta here.
Have yourself a great rest of your weekend.
Got to get up early tomorrow.
Got a basketball game, Coach.
Right now we're two into.
We should probably be 33 and one.
We should probably before no, to tell you the truth, you know, I'm saying, last last week, we lost and I, another guy was coaching for me.
We lost, We had a lead, they took the last shot.
And we let the smallest guy on the court get the rebound and put it back in.
Small stuff. Not boxing out. Me.
The smallest guy on the court gets the rebound and puts it back.
Game on a last second.
It took the last shot.
We lose the game, go to into small stuff.
The little stuff that guys think don't mean anything but a way, folks, I'm out of here, uh, Joyce of football tomorrow.
Then enjoy the Knicks at six.
If I decided to get on it, it's gonna depend on what's happening.
What's going on? What kind of visitors come to the craving, All that kind of stuff? I'm saying if I decide to get on, uh, you definitely get the notification.
And if I decide to get online, But if I don't get on during the game, I'll definitely be on after the game to do the post game.
Let these gentlemen I'm outta here.
I will see you tomorrow night for sure.
And a Georgia resident night, George.
