What's up, guys? We're talking about the NFL season, and I have I wanted to do that this for so long, and I've just never had a chance to.
So I'm glad I'm finally doing this, and we're gonna talk about week nine.
My team is on a bye.
So if you're wondering why, actually, um, podcast downtown rams if you're interested in that.
But we got a lot to talk about just waiting for people that kind of file in here.
Well, I'll take questions.
All that, um, is my first time using this thing.
So, you know, I have, like, no idea how this will go, but, um Texans, Jaguars First off, I really want to know how you guys think it's going to go for me.
You know, I look at this game and I think it's it's obviously gonna be interesting.
It's at Wembley Stadium, back to backs.
Last week, you have the Rams and Bangles at Wembley Stadium, and that was definitely ah, something else in Normally, those games are either a blowout or they're just weird.
Ah, you have a division game which normally those games air blow out or they're close.
Um, and I'm looking at this game.
I'm thinking your gardener, Minshew versus somebody that I believe, uh, could end up putting the M v p.
And that's to Shawn Watson.
This Texans team is very good.
They sit now at five and free.
The Jaguars are foreign for we're kind of at a crossroads.
At this point, Jaguar sacrificed a home game for this Wembley Stadium.
This is, you know, a costly game.
Of course, obviously love to have that home game, but they are playing in London and for me, you know, I think you have to look at Houston and how they've been able to respond in, you know, these prime situations.
DeShaun Watson to start off the year against the Saints prime time.
And he really came through and put the Texans and, you know, perfect opportunity, you know, and being able to basically win that game at the end.
Unfortunately for them, Ah, the Saints won on a game winning field goal by Will Watts.
Um, but still, you know, I think you've seen a lot of good things out of the Texans despite the fact they lost their running back Lamar Miller before the season, you really got going.
So, uh, they've really been rolling with Carlos Hyde and Duke Johnson.
And, uh, you know, because of that, they've had to kind of, you know, change what they're doing a little bit.
Obviously you still have new cop Ekins.
They did lose Jordan Taylor.
Um, somebody that they did like the tight ends.
Now, you know, they've been using Jordan Akins a little bit more than third round pick out a UCF, and they have been using Garin Fells.
They're free agency signing who? I mean, he's turning into kind of ah, fantasy.
Uh, of course, you know, they make a trade.
They did get later me tonsil, and they did get Kenny stills from the dolphin.
So you have those guys Will Fuller's injured? They did draft key k Q t.
Um, you know, from a Texas Tech.
So they have weapons there.
And now you see dish on Watson when he's capable of if he has any bit of protection.
And still, I don't believe he has top notch protection.
But to Shawn Watson, in my opinion, just from what he's been able to do? Um, he is 100% that an M v p candidate.
You look at the, you know, the Jaguars.
They've found new life with Leonard for net.
Um, you know, he was 1/4 overall pick.
And I mean, this is somebody That was a generational talent, in my opinion, coming out of L s U Ah, this is somebody.
At one point you had ****ysts saying this guy should just skip college football together and just get himself ready for the pros.
I didn't really agree with that, but you can see obviously the talents there and they've gotten some great contribution from another Ellis you Tiger.
Former Ellis you Tiger deejay chart who was a Senior Bowl standout.
It's finally starting to come into his own finally starting.
You don't actually get thrown to, um, and because he's been utilized, he's one of the best receivers this year in the league, easily one of the best deep threats in the league.
You know, they've got a lot of production out of him, and then, you know, it's kind of been, you know, a mixed bag, a tight end because Josh Oliver, after excited about, but he's been hurt to turn on the EEGs hurt eso then.
You know, it's been kind of hard there, but, you know, again, it started off Nick Foles got hurt there there, you know, investment there.
$20 million investment for this season.
Gardner mentioned their sixth round pick out of Washington State, which I would have told you.
Um, he comes in and he has been bawling out.
So they, you know, Minshew mania versus dish on Watson.
I think this is definitely gonna be a game.
That will be interesting for sure.
Uh, I in this game, I'm gonna go with the Texans right now that they are.
Ah, it's one and 1/2 right now.
Um, the Texans are up one and 1/2 so, you know, I think, uh, I think I'm gonna go with the Texans here.
I think I'll go 31 24.
I think you know, Jaguars will obviously be Ah, you know, fighting back in this game.
This is the Texans first game since J.
Watt went down with an injury and he's out for the year, so you should see a lot of Ah, Whitney Merciless, Really? Just trying to take over help on the defense of end.
But, you know, all together, I do think that you're looking at another rivalry game.
It's gonna be close.
It will be interesting.
But I do think the Texans pull it out right before we kick off the one game.
So with that being said, we have an interesting one o'clock game.
Thank you for sending me popcorn.
I don't really know what that means, but I appreciate running hot.
Appreciate you joining the broadcast.
I appreciate you all joining the broadcast causes My first go at it.
And I mean, I guess I have an idea of what I'm doing.
But, you know, I've never done like SportsCastr before, so I figured I'd give it a shot.
Um, one o'clock first. Ah, clocking.
We'll talk about the Redskins versus the bill's.
The 17 Redskins had to buffalo to face the five and two bills.
The bills are an interesting one here.
They're actually two into at home.
Believe it or not, they're undefeated on the road.
Eso this one, They're at home.
Um, I think this is a pretty easy one for the bills.
mainly because I think, unfortunately, the Redskins are putting.
In my opinion, I think they're putting, um, somebody.
I really liked in the draft.
Dwayne Haskins into the fire.
Um, you know, he's coming in this game.
They're like, All right, this is your first start.
You're going to help against the Buffalo Bills and that Chamakh Dermot coach defense that I think is a Super Bowl defense.
At this point, I think the biggest issue of Buffalo is the fact that they don't have a consistent running game.
I don't think you can rely on Frank Gore the rest of the year and expect him to stay healthy, and he is getting up there in age.
It's like they want him to get going, but they only give him, like, five carries.
Um, so I think that's a concern.
But I also think you know Josh, Alan and his ability to basically shoot himself in the foot.
When Josh Allen was coming out of Wyoming, first thought I had everyone's talking about him.
First I had was this kid's talented.
He's got, you know, some arm strength there obviously love this escape ability, but I feel like I'm watching a die hard movie with Bruce Willis and how he has to shoot himself right through his own chest to kill the bad guy that is holding him hostage.
That's how I feel.
What? They're not just wrong.
But that's how I feel about Josh.
Alan, I think Josh Alan shoots himself in the foot way too much, and sometimes the best play is to just eat it, throw it away, live to play another down.
And I think because of that, Josh Allen puts the Bills in a rough situation.
I don't think he'll do that against the Redskins.
I expect a good game out of him.
The Redskins at this point, they're season's over there, one and seven.
They're starting a rookie quarterback that really hasn't had an opportunity again.
They're kind of throwing him in the fire.
I really liked the Bills in this game.
They're getting 10 and 1/2 points.
Um, you know, they're up.
10 have favorite 37.
It's the over under.
Um, I don't I'd probably go over.
I think the bills win 30 to 10.
I think this is gonna be a brutal first game for Dwayne Haskins.
But you know what? I think Dwayne Haskins is gonna go through a similar situation.
That the quarterback that place for the team that I represent behind me, Jared Goff I think he's gonna go through kind of a similar situation is that very talented quarterback.
I think he'll go from, you know, go through those coaching.
Ah, you know those issues? Ah, he'll have a rough first year after being kind of held back.
And the irony is case Keenum was on both teams.
But I think, you know, go through those issues and I think at the end of the day, it will make him better.
Um, you know, I think when you ah, when you look at it, you know, I think Haskins all together, he's very talented quarterback And I think because of that, um, you know, you have something to look forward to down the road.
However, this year being lost, cause as it is, uh, there is picked a great receiver, I think, the best receiver in this class so far, Terry McLaurin.
Ah, but right now it's just this is not a game where I expect him to go off or anything. like that.
So, if that resemble the bills 38 to 10.
Um, moving forward.
We got the Chiefs and Vikings again. Thank you guys.
So much for joining.
I'll actually start adding people that join the pod cat are joined the broadcast, so use the podcast.
Um, let's see here.
I want to make sure you know, you guys love There we go.
All right, so we got the vikings chiefs in a game.
That will definitely be interesting.
Um, you know, I think Vikings in chief six and two Vikingsfirst, the five and three Chiefs.
You're looking at another team.
Interesting thing on that.
You're looking at the Chiefs.
They had the same thing with the bills.
They have only lost their games at home.
And I think because of that, that will definitely be something interesting.
Um, I think that, you know, the Vikings coming in this game there six and two that they've definitely gotten things going with Calvin Cooke.
He's finally healthy.
Um, Kurt cousins is playing very well.
Um, and, you know, I think you look at, you know, Adam feeling and stuff on Biggs and feeling will likely be back in this game.
Stefan Diggs is finally coming on and, you know, all together, I think that this will be one of the games of the week.
We don't know whether or not Patrick Mahomes will end up playing, Um, and you know, we'll have to find that out.
But Matt Moore looked really good on you know, something that football for sure.
You know, obviously he's not going to blow the doors off, but I do think he looked very good on Sunday Night Football s o.
I think they will be fine if if Matt Moore um you decided, well, if they decide to roll with Matt Moore in this one, you know, I think you have to like the weapons he has.
I mean, again, you have Sammy walk ins you spend a lot of money on.
You have Miko Hardman, somebody I really like coming out of Georgia.
And then, you know, of course you have your Travis Kelsey, You have LaShawn McCoy of Damian Williams.
So I mean, they have weapons there, for sure, but, you know, and this one, I think I'm gonna go with the Vikings here.
I think the Vikings are on a fast track to success.
I think last year everyone was really quick to, you know, throw shade at her cousin's.
And in my opinion, I think Kirk Cousins went from being underrated in Washington to getting overrated because of the contract and everything to being underrated again.
You know, I think when you have to look at it, presence has done his job and then some.
And, ah, you know, he may never live up to that 30 or so $1,000,000.
But the way the Vikings were playing now, you know, I think they moved to seven and two here and they get a really good went on the road.
They do something the same thing that their division rival did the week prior with Packers.
So I don't think my homes ends up going.
I have the Vikings in this 1 31 21 It should be a fun one at Arrowhead.
If Mahomes plays, I still have the Vikings winning.
I still think it will be like 31 27 31 28 but I'm going with the assumption I think he's out and I think they're gonna roll with Matt Moore.
It'll be 31 21 Moving on.
We have the Jets and the Dolphins, and that game is a battle between O and seven verse one and six.
You look at the Dolphins.
They looked, I thought, really good to start off against the Steelers in Pittsburgh, a team that really is just trying to win a football game.
I know everyone is talking about tanking and all that, but when you look at, you know Brian Flores, he just got the job.
This guy does not want to tank.
If you think for a second that his job is safe, you haven't been watching the NFL because Steve Wilkes was let go one year into his coaching career, his head coaching career.
He was the head coach of the Cardinals and they let him go.
So I don't think it's a guarantee.
Um, with that reason, I definitely think that, you know, we should look at the Dolphins and see what they try to do.
I don't entirely agree with sitting Josh Rose.
I don't but I do think Ryan Fitzpatrick does give them a chance to win the game.
I don't know if he gives him more of a chance.
Ah, because they both commit turnovers.
I think Fitzpatrick will just let it fly, he least feeling it, let it fly.
He does take a lot of risks, and I think you'll notice that.
I think that's one of the reasons why they lost that football game to the Steelers.
Gotten back into it, the two turnovers.
But you know, in this one, I think the Jets This is a perfect opportunity to Jets air three point favorites.
It's the perfect operative and improved to two and six.
But get Sam Darnold back on track.
You know, this whole feeling seeing ghost thing has not gone over well, and we won't go into how I feel about them, you know, airing that live on.
Ah, you know, Monday Night Football, because I wasn't cool with that at all.
Um, but I do think Sam Darnold was feeling himself.
It was finally, you know, getting into ah, real groove against the Cowboys.
I think that gaming it's the Patriots, just ruined all his progress now is really built himself back up.
You'll slowly see that I think this game is a perfect opportunity, but I'm gonna go with the Dolphins here.
I really think the Jets they got a lot of stuff going on with the trade deadline stuff with Jamal Adam's, Um, I just believe that the Dolphins are gonna want it more.
I know it sounds crazy to say that, but I think Brian Flores is going to be coaching his tail off to win some football games.
They did just trade Kenyon Drake, so you'll see a lot of Mark Wall in and you'll see a lot of Kalen Goolaj.
But I think, you know, with the ability of Prostate Williams and you know Devante Parker, I still like the way they both played last week, as well as Albert Wilson, who found the end zone.
So I have the Dolphins in this one.
It's gonna be condiment ugly.
1 17 13 I think the Dolphins win, and you know, I don't you know how many incident and wind moving forward.
But at this point, um, I do think if the Dolphins win this game, they now don't have the tiebreaker of the Jets.
So if they both finish one and 15 the Jets would get the number one pick, assuming they were both, you know, the lowest records.
I do think the Jets could use somebody like, Ah, you know, a Chase Young next year.
Um, if they do go, if they have a rough year, I don't think that they should give up on Sam Darnold.
I'll just say that right now.
I think Miami should try and build with Josh Rosen and maybe, you know, they should go after Chase Young and they should go after.
You know, somebody that could really help their defense.
I wouldn't give up on Josh Rosen.
I wouldn't give up on Sam Darnold.
I think it's too, uM, too early, and I don't have a problem with what the Cardinals did.
But I'd have a problem that the Dolphins gave up on Josh Rosen.
Let's see here we got the Eagles and Bears.
Foreign four, verse three and four.
Everyone was basically counting them out.
They just had an awful display, um, against the Cowboys.
And so everyone kind of wrote them off for a week, and then they went into Buffalo and they kicked.
But I mean, that's really what it came down to mean.
Regardless of how impressive this Sean McDermott coach defense has been for Buffalo.
The Eagles just we're all over them.
Carson once looked really good.
Al, Shaun, Geoffrey.
They got the rookie Mile Sanders involved.
Huge touchdown run down the sideline, I believe one for like 60 plus yards.
I mean, that game was huge for the Eagles that got them back on track.
That was really a crossroads for them.
Where was their season gonna go? Well, now they're looking at foreign for and they're going against the team in Chicago.
That's a good defense, but not as good as last year.
And I do think and I said this preseason, I don't think they'll make the playoffs because I think they do.
Miss Fangio, I think is good as their defense is and as good as truck.
Pagano is a coaching the defense.
I think Fangio brought a little extra.
I also think them losing Adrian Amos was also something that kind of gets overlooked and at the end of the day I was a huge fan of the way they approached the draft because they basically traded all their picks for Khalil Mack, which I'm cool with.
Hello, Mac is one of the best defensive players in the game.
But then you draft a running back in, um, David Montgomery, which I don't understand because you had Jordan Howard, who's one of the more, ah, productive running backs of the last three years.
So for them to trade away Jordan Howard and replace them with Jordan Montgomery when you only had, you know, your highest pick was 1/3 rounder, That was a little bizarre to me.
So you have to look at this Chicago Bears team.
Why are they not playing as well? Well, for starters, I don't think they got much better.
Okay, like that's how I would start that.
I don't think they got much better.
Um, you know what? I think Travis Key is regressive.
I think it's clear as day that that is going on.
So because of that, you have Travis Key regressing the defense's and as dominant it's not averaging, you know, 14 points allowed, which is just insane.
Um, I think because that you have a struggling Barris T in this one, the Eagles, I think that their ah, they're on their way.
They're finding themselves. Okay.
They started off.
They have that rough game against Dallas.
They started off the season that not so hot.
Ah, but, you know, I think this Eagles team is kind of going to go back and forth, Dean, buy offs.
I do have the Eagles in this game, 23 13.
I think they get Thio.
Strabinsky, I think, to make him for some mistakes.
I know their secondary is suspect, and they didn't really draft anybody.
Been really draft anybody.
They didn't even target anybody in the trade deadline.
They didn't go out and get a Chris Harris.
They missed out on Jalen Ramsey.
Um, they didn't get Darius Slay.
So I think because of that obviously would like to see them address the secondary more.
Ah, but I do think that there's still a better team than Chicago, and I think they get it done at home.
Moving forward, Steelers, Colts.
Everyone's kind of sleeping on this. Ah, this matchup.
And here's what I'm gonna say this I think the colts are better than everyone else thinks.
I think Jacoby per set is the most underrated player in football right now.
I mean, I really do know one he's making throws that my home's makes, and no one's talking about it because he plays for the Colts and I don't know.
But they're five and two.
Let's not forget.
So they're five into the Steelers.
They stay at home.
They say a home for three straight games.
They played the Dolphins.
They get to play the Colts, and then we'll play the Rams coming off the by.
This a big game for the Steelers because they're playing a team coming off the Buy next week.
They're five and three.
It's gonna be rough.
I mean, if they don't win this game against the Colts, it's gonna be rough.
I don't think they get it done there.
One point favorites.
Which means that technically, under God underdogs, because you're expecting them to be a three point favorite.
Normally, just draft the bat if you're at home, eh? So with that being said, I think the Colts the two and one on the road this year, I really like the way Jacoby percent has played.
I like they're running backs, Um, and then I think, you know, even without T y Hill in, I do think this team can beat the Steelers Now.
The Steelers defense has got better since adding Devin Bush in the draft.
I think it's injected kind of what they had before with Ryan Shay's ear upfront.
You have guys like Cam Heyward.
You have guys like Yvonne Hargrave and, of course, the emergence of T.
Watt turning into, I mean, basically just finding startup TJ.
What has been phenomenal for the Steelers? I don't think people are noticing that enough for talking about it enough, but he looks like one of the best pass rushers I've seen this year.
Uh, but you free him.
He's gotten better this year.
He's looked like a bust for the majority of his career, but he's having a good season.
They still have guys like Mike Hill in who's one of the best nickel corners in the game, plus Joe Hayden.
And, you know, I just think because of that this is this a good matchup, You know, this is this gonna be a fun game? Um, Mason run off.
You know you saw him And how he missed the last game.
So you saw at the beginning of the game against Miami, he kind of struggled.
He was you know, a little rusty.
But then, as the game went on, you saw his confidence rise.
You saw him be able to make those throws down the field to Judas.
Ms Schuster to Deonte Johnson.
And all in all, I was really impressed with the way Rudolph finished that game.
I throw out the window that it was the Dolphins.
I don't think that's fair because the NFL football team at Mason Rudolph made some really nice throws, made some good reads, made some good decisions with that, said, I don't think that the Steelers are gonna win this football game.
I think the Colts are a very talented football team.
I think this is gonna be a close game, and at the end, I think they'll need Eric Ebron to close it out.
Coming from Jacoby per set to close out the game.
I think it's gonna be a nail biter, but I think you're looking at, uh, something along the lines of 28 24.
Um, I do think percent gets the job done on the road and I don't think it's a bad loss for the Steelers, regardless.
But I just think it really, it puts them in a rough position.
Because then now you're looking at, you know, being three and five.
The Ravens have a stranglehold of the division, depending on how that happens.
We'll talk about that a little later.
Um, but I do think that the Colts get this job done and, ah, the Steelers do follow three and five colts, improved a six and two and you're looking at an interesting division battle between the Colts and the Texans.
So four and four Titans are headed to Carolina to face Panthers or four and free.
Um, it started off great.
Kyle Allen looked like the future, and now all of a sudden he started to struggle a little bit.
Whether they've taken away his freedom to go down the field, they've lost confidence in him or he's lost constant confidence in himself.
He started to struggle a little bit, and now you're starting to see you know the film's out there.
The tendencies air out there.
It's easier to, you know, you see what he's going to d'oh um, in this one, I think the titans being therefore and for that are hoping to be a wild card at this point.
So, you know, you expecting on the road they are indeed three and 1/2 point underdogs.
I think this is gonna be a good game.
I do have Carolina winning this football game, but I think Tennessee is a is a team that again, it's just gonna win, you know, back and forth.
They're gonna win one they're gonna lose.
When I think this is a team has some pieces.
I don't know if the right coaching is in place.
Vrabel is a Super Bowl winning coach in the future.
I didn't like his handling of the quarterback decision with Marcus Mariota.
Um, and I don't think Ryan Tannehill is a difference maker.
I think it's long if they can keep the ball in the ground and they could move the ball.
Um, you know what, Derrick Henry, then? Yes, I think they have a chance.
Obviously, guys like a J.
Brown and Corey Davis give them an opportunity.
Um, but I just look at the way the Titans defense is played, and I think that's probably gonna give him the most.
That's probably get more of a chance.
However, I think Carolina is going to be smart.
They're going to focus more on using Christian McCaffrey.
Focus on their strengths, not their weaknesses.
So McCaffrey will get a big load on Sunday, and I think for that reason, he'll just be too much for the Titans defense.
The handle it will open up plays. Four.
They will use him.
I mean, obviously, you have guys like D. J.
Moore and Curtis Samuel.
So you have that explosive ability.
And then, of course, this, you know, security blanket.
Ah, you know Greg Olsen.
I think because of that, you have too many ways to help Kyle Allen out.
Plus, it's at home.
I give the Carolina Panthers the wind, 26 23.
Now we'll move on, and I don't know if we're going through these fast or slow, but I'm enjoying it.
I hope you guys are appreciate you guys tuning in.
Of course, Uh, let's see.
Here will do the Lions and the Raiders.
This is a really interesting game.
This starts the four o'clock tilts.
We haven't This game is in Oakland.
Two and 1/2 point favorites are the Raiders.
Ah, the Raiders are free and four, and the lines or 33 and one.
The Lions started off the season with a tie to the Arizona Cardinals in a game they dominated, and they led Arizona get back into at the end of the game at hope.
They've had a lot of instances where they could have beaten the Packers and they blew that game.
Ah, but this is a very talented football team.
They're dealing with a major injury, though.
They lost carry on Johnson for maybe the year.
And they did just lose trade.
Carson, who they picked up and they basically started last week.
So now it's really gonna be up to their rookie out of Maryland.
Ty Johnson, Um, JD McKissick.
And they just added Paul Perkins to the roster.
I think Ty Johnson, JD McKissick get the majority of the carries.
I don't think it'll be a trade Carson situation.
I don't think Paul Perkins is up with the playbook enough to kind of just take over the way Carson did.
I was kind of bizarre.
Ah, but I think the way the Lions offense has been playing, I think eventually they're going to start winning these football games.
They played well enough to beat the Vikings.
Okay? Their defense has to step up.
Um, and that surprising gets that the map, Patricia Coach defense nonetheless, really like Ah, you know Matthew Stafford and how he's played this year.
Really Like what they have for Matthew Stafford Downfield.
Kenny Golladay, Marvin Jones.
Um, Marvin Hall has been, you know, a blessing in disguise deep over the top option.
And then you have Ah, you know Danny Amendola, of course.
And then you have the rookie who I love.
They haven't really gotten involved enough, and that's Ah, TJ Hawkins sent out of Iowa.
So I think they have a lot there.
However, with the Raiders, they also have a tight end to watch out for, and that tight end is Darren Waller and Darren Waller got that extension.
Waller is a consistent playmaker.
He gives Derek Carr an option no matter what the score is, whether if we were talking garbage time or crunch time, this is a team that gave up six touchdowns, Aaron Rodgers.
So I'm not exactly thrilled with their defense.
They did just ship out Gary on Conley.
Um, so that'll be, you know, that'll be interesting for sure.
LaMarcus Joyner, they're free agency acquisition hasn't played well at all.
And, ah, they definitely don't have the pass rush that they had with Khalil Mack.
It's not a shot, but they weren't expecting.
Obviously, they were expecting more out of, Ah, Cleveland Feral.
Then they've received its rookie year.
So I do have the lines in this one going on the road and winning, I think. Matthew Stafford.
There's I do think this is a team that a lot people kind of looked at and like I don't finish last in their division, but I don't really think they will.
They might finish second in their division.
It's not saying a lot because, I mean, you know, the Broncos aren't that great, and they just lost their quarterback for the year and we'll play, um, Drew lock.
But ah, but also I think the Chargers I don't really like the way the charges have played, and I mean, I know we see this every year and they come back and they finish strong.
But I don't know if I see that I don't see the juice out of the Chargers charters do not finish games they finally did last week.
But that was against the Bears, who also don't finish games.
So you have that, um, this game I have the lion's winning will go 33 20.
I think the Lions control the game for the majority of the game.
I think, you know, obviously, Derek Carr has the ability to keep this close.
Um, and I I love Josh Jacobs.
He's a candidate for rookie of the year, offensive rookie of the year, but at the end of the day, I like the lines too much in this one.
They moved to 43 and one in a must win game.
In my opinion, the way the NFC is shaping up this is way more must win than the A F C For the Raiders.
The A F C. It's a little open.
You might need 11 wins just to get into the playoffs, so that'll be.
That'll be interesting.
We'll see how you know the Lions finish off the rest of the year.
But this one, I do think they get the job done and Stafford continues to play well that she's been doing all year, but no one's give him credit for moving on four or five games.
We have the Seahawks in the Buccaneer six and to Seattle versus the two and five Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Seattle's five point favorites, Buccaneers Secondary is very, very bad, but they have a great pass rush headlined by Shack Barrett Dunne than himself.
Um, of course you have.
Maybe the best duo of receivers in the league, Mike Evans and Chris Godwin.
Jamie's is still there, so I mean, you still have that.
You know, you still have to worry about his decision making, and I don't really like the run game.
Um, so I look at Seattle and they did you, Josh Gordon.
You will not be playing in this game, but they they do have him d k Metcalf start to turn it on.
I think he's really just one of the more dynamic red zone weapons that you could have.
Tyler lockets phenomenal, and him and Russell Wilson are on the same page for sure.
Russell Wilson, by the way, M v p candidate 100% Chris Carson is playing lights out and I think this defense is starting to turn it up a little bit.
This is a Game six and two Seahawks.
This is a game that they should cruise.
They're at home.
Uh, you know, the Rams had Tampa Bay at home and and they got them coming off a a brutal loss to the Giants.
It was kind of like, you know, they were with their backs against the wall.
Tampa Bay came through and they had that crazy game with the scored 55 points or whatever against the Rams.
Um, I don't see them doing that against Seattle.
I think Seattle will be, Ah, you know, well disciplined in this one.
And I think Seattle ends of pulling off a blowout win.
Next, we have the 4 25 games.
There's only two, Um, we have the Browns and Broncos.
I look att, the Broncos, Brandon Allen.
Starting this game, I'm instantly taking the Browns.
I've seen Brandon Allen.
Okay, I you know, being a Rams fan, I've seen him in pre season and I just don't think he is.
The Browns have too many weapons to continue playing this poorly and they were number times against the Patriots, you know, in New New England, where they had opportunities and they, you know, they didn't come through.
But, I mean, the Browns didn't play as bad as everyone is saying.
However, I'm not Ah, fan of Freddie Kitchens.
I don't see how he starts a job if they lose this game.
I'm still surprised that he has a job, you know, regardless of this game, but two and five Browns, two and six Broncos Broncos just put Joe Flacco and I are.
I don't know if they were reprimanding him for, you know, calling out the coaching staff, which I think was well deserved.
Um, but regardless that they were or not, Brandon Allen is not the answer.
I'm not saying Drew Lockwood have won them this game.
Ah, but the Broncos, Let's be real Here.
They were a team that they were shopping their best players.
This is a two and six football team like Joe, Flacco said.
That doesn't want to go for it.
That doesn't have the aggressor, you know, they're not aggressive, they're way too conservative.
And I'm sorry, but the Browns, I think again too much talent you have, oh, doubt Jarvis Landry did get hurt.
So you know, we'll see how hit you know how he is moving forward.
Ah, but they still have.
You know, Odell Beckham Jr.
Nick Chubb is honestly, is playing very well.
He's what bigger? And let's not forget the majority of the season their defense has been without greedy.
Williams and Desmond Ward are yet Desmond Ward, So Ah, Denzel Ward.
So those two corners have been out and, you know, I think with their to, you know, to starting corners.
Being out, I think has actually hurt them this year.
Believe it or not, Uh, quite a bit.
I mean, it makes sense, right? I just think that people are overlooking that.
So they're two and five.
They have a chance to get back on track.
They could go three and five in this game, and I think they do that.
I think Baker gets back on track a little bit, but again, there's too many pieces here.
I know one joke who got hurt, but again, too many offensive weapons here to continue to lose games, especially against Denver.
So I have this game being the wake up call game.
The Brown Save Freddie Kitchens job.
41 21 is the final.
Um, And if you're asking how they get 21 points, it's garbage time.
I think it's gonna be a block for the majority of it.
Ah, but Phillip Lindsay and Royce Freeman get them on the board a few times moving on for 25 yet the Chargers at home or rather, away at home facing the Packers.
So three and five charges placed.
The Packers are four point favorites on the road.
I think we know what we're going with this one.
I, Aaron Rodgers, was the Chargers.
I don't like this at all.
I think this is where we start to be, like, OK, the Chargers air really bad.
Um, they have talent, but it's just not coming together.
Whatever happened, Melvin Gordon, we don't know.
Um, I don't like this game at all for the Chargers.
Um, I think this is a really good game for the Packers.
This is gonna be a home game.
Pretty much the Packers fans travel extremely well, and in that small stadium, I don't see this going well I have the Packers, 34 24 winning this football game again.
I don't think the Chargers can finish games.
Obviously, Rivers ability keeps you in it.
Um, I just don't think the defense has done enough to, you know, shut down teams.
And I don't see them starting against a really good offense that could be returning.
Davante Adams, who is a game time decision moving forward.
We have the 8 20 game that is the sun at a football game on NBC.
We have the Ravens versus the Patriots, five and two Ravens taking on the eight.
The undefeated Patriots are gonna go down this weekend.
You heard it here first.
Here's the thing.
The Patriots we can talk about, who they've gone up against and quite honest, It's not good.
Ah, their best team that they've beaten.
I mean, I guess this past week against the Browns, you could say the Bills, maybe even the Steelers.
But they got the Steelers early on.
So Mason Rudolph wasn't fully, um, you know, acclimated and, uh, you know all that.
But here's the thing.
Their defense is playing extremely well.
I don't know if that's sustainable is a matter of fact.
I don't believe it is.
I think that they're playing too well.
I don't see this, you know, Lasting.
They had to Baltimore Sunday night.
And here's the thing.
Lamar Jackson isn't just good because he's he's good and, like he makes plays.
He has an offense of coordinator that gets his place style and adapts to it.
So and it actually works for him more than anybody.
That's great, Roman.
Greg Roman was the offensive coordinator in San Francisco back when Colin Kaepernick, you know, turned it on and became, you know, kind of a superstar, if you will.
Well, Lamar Jackson has Greg Room and they have some running backs there.
Um, you know Mark Ingram, Gus Edwards.
Injustice Hill, the rookie.
Now I expect this game to be very interesting because I think the Patriots no, obviously had a game plan for running quarterbacks.
But I don't think Lamar Jackson is just your standard running quarterback.
This is somebody the Red the Ravens are totally comfortable with running 20 times a game.
There are not many quarterbacks in the history of the NFL that ran 20 times a game Lamar Jackson can't but one thing that is not clear to many people.
Lamar Jackson Concert of the Football.
Okay, and he is continue to get better over time.
The crazy thing.
And when I bring this up, people think I'm insane.
But Lamar Jackson in the pocket.
It was a better quarterback than outside the pocket last year.
Normally, you're running quarterbacks.
One thing how to throw on the run.
Well, last year, that was Lamar Jackson's issue.
He was better in the pocket than outside the pocket.
Well, this year I think he's clean that up a bit, and now we're now he is maximizing his ability and how dangerous he can be.
The scariest thing is a running quarterback that can pull it down run but can also, you know, throw a pot pass or, you know, have that arm and be able to make plays down the field.
Uh, you know, both with his arm and his legs, and I think that's the thing with Mark.
Jackson is turning into that quarterback in Year two.
I think this is gonna be a rough one for New England.
This baby, the only game they lose all season long, but I do believe they lose this game.
I do believe it's gonna be very close.
I have 33 30 Baltimore Ravens get it done.
I think Tom Brady and company, they're gonna be right into it until the end.
I think Lamar Jackson just does just enough to get ah, Justin talker and feel low range and win the game in the final seconds.
So that's how I see that going.
And then, lastly, we have the Giants and the Cowboys ending Monday night.
Um, because we have the Saints, Rams and, uh, yeah, bangles and Falcons on ABI.
So the Monday night game and how I see it going Giants Cowboys.
I know everyone's gonna pick the Cowboys, but I actually have the Giants upsetting the Cowboys in this one.
I like Daniel Jones.
I like the way he played against the Patriots in prime time on Thursday night.
There's no primetime in general, you know, if guys can play and can succeed in those, you know, opportunities.
I think the Army find you wasn't perfect.
But he played against one of the roughest defense's I've seen in the New England Patriots, and he gave the Giants a chancel in that football game.
Dallas doesn't have anywhere near the defense.
Plus, Daniel Jones is playing at home.
Dallas is coming off a really good win against the Eagles.
Okay, so, you know, I know what everyone's gonna be still talking about that, um and, you know, shutting down their division rival in all of that.
But, you know, I just look at it and I think this Dallas Cowboys team it's good.
I think they might be one of the three best teams in the NFC, maybe four.
Um, but I still think it has its kinks ass to work out.
And because of that, I think that they'll drop games like this.
It's a rivalry game, so it could be close.
Giants? No, the Cowboys more than most the teams in the league Because of that, I think they'll be creative with Daniel.
Jones will allow him to get, you know something's going.
They have, say, Kwame Barkley.
He's ready to go, so I really like it.
Plus, they get Golden Tate back.
Um, and he's been back for a few weeks now, but the last time that they played the Cowboys that didn't have Golden Tate.
We have more weapons.
And the last time they played the Giants guys, the Cowboys did.
Daniel Jones was not quarterback.
It was Eli Manning.
Everyone forgets that.
So they start off the season against the Cowboys.
And here they are now playing the Cowboys two and six.
Really looking, you know, there look at themselves in the mirror there.
Six and 1/2 point underdogs at home.
This is a game I expect the Giants to win.
Um, it's going to be a tough one, but I think they get it done.
Daniel Jones and company wins the football game, and they improved to three and six.
That's gonna do it.
