Hey, what's up, everybody? Blue from under at sports.
Coming back to you on a bus.
It's Thursday, Sam.
I'm doing a stream late in the week.
I usually do it a little bit earlier than this.
Freshen myself up here.
I mean, um, yeah.
No, uh, last week.
What? 344 And the pics.
I think that's the best week we've had since I went perfect a couple of weeks ago.
Um, but yet not 344 I'll take it.
The only game I was often this is my worst pick of the and not even close was the the Jets. In the past.
I thought that just could get done or at least not lose by 10.
Didn't have in that way.
I like the defense.
I like Sand, Donald, they're old line is just terrible navigation.
I try to deny for a while, but he's just not a head coach.
He's a decent O. C.
But he's not a head coach.
We kind of learned that, uh, since Donald Smithsonian last week, even when he was in.
They have Jacksonville this week, and I think that'll be a tough matchup for them, especially on the road, but we'll see.
Hopefully they bounce back.
You get embarrassed to bounce back every week and then that leads me to the Thursday game.
You know, bro? Yeah.
No, I This Thursday game tonight is, uh, Washington, Minnesota.
No Adam feeling he has a hamstring injury, but he'll be back.
I think they said 44 are the game that Sunday week nine.
So So that's good.
But either way, that this should be kind of a blowout game.
I mean, there's no excuse.
I mean, maybe they'll give Kirk cousins a little trouble with the pass rush and try to make him make some quick decisions now that he doesn't have a feeling that But, I mean at the end of day still have Stefan Diggs Dalvin cook.
So I would be the best running back in the game outside of McCaffrey.
And then they still have called Rudolph on the other side of the tight ends they have R.
Smith wasn't really gotten a ton of burn.
Um, and then I don't know, man.
I want to say Washington has a fighting chance just to make it interesting.
Yeah, the Vikings world, I think I think they should.
But But I don't know.
We've seen Kirk owes her cousin struggle with some past rushes before, But maybe I I don't I just don't see it happening.
The Vikings old line's been great since since since they got the rookie back, I lost track of his name.
But yes, in seven.
Ever since that rookie that they drafted been back, the old lines been showed up.
And they have been great ever since that Excuse me, that Chicago game.
I mean, like I said, teams again embarrassed, usually bounce back like that, especially with good Ross's.
And what we're seeing is the Vikings of the second best team in the NFC North.
And I think that's very clear because they released an apt there, at least not inept, like the Bears are on one side of the football. I know the best.
Beat them, Um, but yeah, I don't know.
I just don't see it happening.
I think Washington's Dumpster Fire I don't know, starting for them this region.
It's either case Keenum a Colt McCoy, which is just I can't even think I can't even think of who else Yeah, no, that's That's so bad.
If Colt McCoy is gonna start for them, I like to call coming out of Texas, too.
But no, that's just not gonna happen for them this week, Unfortunately, but my picks of the week, let's get it going.
Three for four last week.
Open and continue the street I might start doing.
Might start doing five.
But this request so tough there really aren't any great games this week. I mean, Kansas City.
Green Bay was supposed to be one.
No, Mahomes San.
Fran. Caroline is a good game.
And then I catch Cleveland was supposed to be good, but I had people that hair of Boston saying It's gonna be close Bought? I don't know. I don't know.
I want to say it's gonna be close.
I really would like that.
Um and then on the other side is the T bills and bills.
So that's that Should be an okay game.
Uh, yeah, just jump right into it.
Seattle versatile and industry coming off a loss on almost a bad loss because there was a lot of a lot of shenanigans that went on this game for, uh, for Seattle.
I mean, the d came.
They had a chance to get back in it in the UK Metcalf fumble.
Which is that's like, the worst fumble I've ever seen in my life.
What he may be trying to make, like, a double move and just dropped it.
I don't know what happened there.
I mean, his biggest issue coming out of college was his hands.
It wasn't his physical abilities.
It wasn't his route running.
It was his hands.
You know what I mean? You couldn't make not Not tough crabs, but he wasn't a guy who was just gonna go up and grab the football would hold on to it on the way down.
And I mean, there was no excuse for that double moving the drop.
She just just lost it.
And that cost them the game that they had an opportunity to drive down the field in the Ravens defense instead, it with didn't let it happen.
Uh, there are only five minus five and 1/2 this week, which I love.
I absolutely love.
Um, Atlanta has no Mohammed Sunu, but Julio did rally the locker room.
Did give a great speech.
I heard from bleacher report this weekend s o.
I mean, they could be resurgent.
We don't know how Matt Ryan's ankle is questionable of match jobs, that I love that five and 1/2.
I absolutely love it, but I don't think outside Dion Jones.
I don't see anybody on Atlanta that poses a threat to Russell Wilson.
I mean, he's just he's just an absolute animal, and I think when he gets out of the pocket, he's going to create some serious, serious problems for them.
Even though I thought we saw with Seattle that now that will displease down, they kind of had to find that new guy that new security blankets Russell.
When he does get outside the pocket, he doesn't move around and he does add live the way he does.
But either way, I love Seattle minus five and 1/2.
I don't think it is ready.
I just don't see it.
I even know what's in Atlanta and landed getting embarrassed in the land all year, and it's it's fair to say, outside of Washington, Cincinnati in Miami, that's the worst team in football right now.
Um, I mean, maybe the Jets.
But at least the Jets have a good defense.
Will you have five and 1/2 of Seattle take that all day? Another game that I absolutely love? Chicago minus three and 1/2 this week at hole in verse.
Like I said, teams that get embarrassed the way they're gonna embarrass first the same.
So I know the end was a little fun where they got a couple onside kicks in a row.
The 1st 2 want sidekicks were covered all year.
Mind you know what I mean.
That's that's kind of crazy and impressive.
But, you know, they they got embarrassed and they're at home.
That is absolutely horrible.
I don't I don't see what what, what? Why the spread is three and 1/2.
I think that Mister Frisky needs to get his groove back.
I still don't think he's that good, but Mr Bates, he's all right.
I mean, he's he's not an accurate passer.
He's got a decent off and he can make the short, reliable throws.
I think Matt, Maggie, Like he said, we gotta run the football more.
We gotta run the football more.
And he knows that because you can't do because they're starting from behind.
And when you stop from behind, you have to throw the football just like the Rams did. First.
Tampa Bay Gurley got no touches that game, but they slang it 60 times and golf is a much more reliable passes and Travis Keys, but I don't see them getting behind.
We saw that the charges strongly to put a points first.
Tennessee's defense, who who's a good defense, But they're not anything like the Bears.
And I think the band's our own for vengeance.
They're going back home.
Um, yeah, I just don't I don't see the three and 1/2 spread.
I think people are kind of off the bed and I think that would be they've lost some tough games.
They really have Green Bay in the beginning, in the year really hurt because they really had a chance to win that game and then vs Saints.
They just they just want to gather Torbinski getting back.
You could just see he wasn't as comfortable, um, as you should have been.
I mean, I get it.
You're playing the same time.
A phenomenal defense down early.
You gonna come back from behind coming off the injury.
It's tough, but I still love that minus four and 1/2.
I can't just let that go by without me.
I want to be taken and I have to take that.
Oh, my football contra street. That'll be.
That'll be easily one of my techs next one scene thing.
But with a team that has been hot I mean, they're hot.
I know they're on the road.
The Green Bay Packers versus a a Patrick Mahomes.
This chief's team, they're only minus four.
Um, I don't really gonna come up with some good schemes.
I think the Chiefs will score points.
They'll have a lot of run plays in there.
He was all three.
That their salt and running backs.
One guy that really stands out.
If you don't, I mean, there's no clear number one there.
Excuse me, but yeah, I just don't see it.
The pack is getting hot, they're rolling.
And I think when Aaron Rogers has protection, and I think when he has that confidence and he believes in the people around him and he doesn't have that kind of soured push on that you're not complaining on the sidelines and he's not given that attitude.
I think it's it's really hard to stop the Packers.
I think people for people really forgot who he was and what he does when you protect him and you give him the ball back and keep him on the field their own.
Like I said on my podcast with my friends since the sandbox podcast folded on Apple in Spotify.
But they're almost kind of figuring out the New England offense in Green Bay, where they have two running backs who they really utilize.
One runs a lot more.
One catches the ball a lot more.
They use Jimmy Graham a lot in the red zone on as a as a guy who blocks at first and then comes out goes over a past like that.
They used to do with Gronk and what they've done with Ben walks in.
Uh, they have a big receiver on the outside of Devante who probably will be back this week, and then Aaron Rodgers, like the way Tom Brady does, is making it work with guys who are it is known, found the scandal in Geronimo Allison, that guy Lassad like, Who are these guys? In all seriousness.
I don't got the scanning, has a little bit of a name and draw them out and caught that one Hail Mary a couple years ago.
But outside of that, I mean, they're kind of figure in another words, Quick release. Quick release.
Run the football, run the football defense.
We keep the time of possession, and we utilize the tight end as much as possible.
It reminds me of the New England offense, but obviously they're not as fresh and crisp in it.
And which are the defense not has to hold? When Roger School School's points like you did verse that yields in verse, the Raiders that defense just doesn't play up the pyre, as you've seen when he is stuck at 21 points per se like versatile Vikings gave a versatile Vikings oversell bids.
You don't mean that defense kind of plays tow the opposite of the offense when there's a lot of points for the offense, the defense isn't is great.
When the offense is struggling, the defense kicks it up, which is good.
I mean there's a give and take to everything.
Ah, and that's good to see for Bring Bay.
When they get all on the same page, it's going to be scary.
It'll the chief side of things.
I just think that the defense looked a lot better than it.
I think the Denver just is terrible, even though I do think Denver will give my Colts a tough game this week.
But I do think the Colts play down the competition, which he has the ever living shit out of me.
But we shall see.
Yeah, I don't think Kansas City's pass rush outside of our friend clock will even come close to Rogers.
Their offense of line has been great in Green Bay, and I just think that the corners, they're just gonna really do a number on there, see if he's gonna really do a good job.
May control Tyree.
Kill can't get over the top.
Maybe he'll get one big play.
The way I said it for our fantasy value with Tyreke was he might have four hedges for 80 something yards, and one of them's a 45 50 yard catch.
You know what I mean? That's just the way.
Yes, he gets one big run.
Ah, one big catch power.
And that's really it for him.
And it'll be a lot of short sure throw a lot of quicks.
I mean, they don't really run him in the slot like that, but that'd be pretty cool to see him, uh, in the slot.
Maybe just because Matt Moore needs that help.
I mean, I think Anya Reed, I'll do a good job of scheming.
So I think in this case came to city schools points, but I don't see them winning this game.
Especially not they're not coming in within four points of the package.
I don't see that any way, shape or form, even though it is an arrow.
And I think we've seen Aaron Rodgers knows how to play on the road by now.
In this Green Bay team is hot in my last one, Saints minus 10 and 1/2 1st Arizona.
This is the only one that really scares me because big spread scamming and teams coming off of a huge win don't always play great.
I mean, I know they're in the Superdome.
Arizona's not great It's a it's a rookie quarterback and Sean Payton and the kind of the same way Bill Belichick is.
He kind of eats those those young guys for breakfast.
And that that Saints defense is unbelievable.
Having poor guy in his sophomore year.
Kim Jordan, a top five defensive player in the NFL right now, they convinced me of it.
Otherwise on then they have a lock down corner, and they have figured a way to save these names.
But their safety is playing great all season.
Hasn't let any any big plays up, really.
But they just has such a good football team.
And I think Bridgewater's got the hot hand and I think they believe in him, um, and that the team is just loaded.
It's just loaded.
They they have the luxury of.
Even if Kumar's healthy, they might only give him 15 touches the whole game.
Three passes and then you have a little Miss Mori take the rest and he still very good like we saw last week.
They're hot and I'm just worried they might come out flat, but I think by couple flat.
I think they'll just have a bad first half and then turn it on in the second half.
I just don't see that there.
I just don't see that they're a real threat to to the Saints.
I mean, Arizona's gonna good offense.
I mean, Kyla Murray, with his feet, might give him some problems.
But I feel like their offense relies on a lot of screenplays, and I feel like Sean Payton is just ready for that.
And I think when you give him an office that's so raw with young guys like that Oh, thank you.
Um, I just I don't I don't know.
I don't see a 10 and 1/2.
I'll take it all day if it was 14 or maybe 17.
The way we've seen it be verse Washington of the Jets on Miami.
I'd be a little hesitant because I do think Arizona has placed.
They don't completely inept team.
They're just not refined yet rookie quarterback who's exceeding my expectations.
But the system is set up for him, and he hasn't Not that he hasn't impressed me is just He hasn't been that number one overall pick.
In my opinion, he's been great.
He's handsome, good numbers, but it hasn't translated to wins.
It's a lot of garbage time stuff.
It's a lot of screenplays to David Johnson.
It's a lot of coming from behind when they're losing, you know what I mean? He's putting up numbers when they're when they're getting their ass is worked and it is what it is.
I mean, he's gonna get better of You mean Kingsbury together is on Max mating offensive heaven and we'll see.
But I'm 10 and 1/2.
I like that, like that line.
So, like I said this this week, hoping to go better than free for four, But I'll take that again.
Seahawks minus five and 1/2 Chicago minus three and 1/2 Uh, Green Bay minus four a half and the Saints minus 10 and 1/2.
Unlike last week, don't have any other dogs.
Hopefully, it works out for us.
Take that to the bank, guys, have a good one.
