Good morning, sportscaster.
What's up, guys? Good morning.
How are you all doing? Good morning from the lovely city of Boston, Massachusetts.
I just wanted Thio.
Come on here and, uh, and talk about that that debacle of a Monday night Excuse me? Sunday night game.
But, man, that was a man.
That was atrocious.
I, uh I thought for sure when that game started that we were gonna get a a shootout and, uh ah, shoot out.
And a good, like a good, high quality smash mouth football game back and forth.
I had really high expectations for that for that game.
Did the Philadelphia Eagles disappoint me in that one? Now, I don't really have Ah, I didn't really have Ah, you know, like, I'm a patriot fan.
So I wasn't really, you know, really had a rooting interest in that game.
But But man, as a fan of the has a fan of football, that was brutal.
Philadelphia came out really flat.
Did the eagles come out flat in that one? They looked Billy's.
Billy's got some readjusted in some, and they got some some searching to do, man.
They that was That was a bad game for the Eagles.
That was That was not a good look for Philly.
Uh, they they were flat the whole game.
It was It was Yeah, that was I mean, that was not a good luck, though.
The there were there were multiple plays where Philly just shot themselves in the foot in that one.
They just The Eagles just could not get out of their own way in that game.
They just They just could not get out of their own way in that game.
It was It was tough to watch Thea couple.
Oh, we could talk about a few of those plays.
The one where the one where Miles said Sanders decided to run that football out of the end zone and he gets tackled that like the 11.
That's one of them.
Uh, that point in the game where I knew the Eagles had given where I knew the Eagles had mailed it in and completely given up.
Carson Wentz threw a football a bomb Nelson ag Lord, and it was perfect.
Wentz could not have thrown that football any better.
Donkey threw that ball to to Nelson Jaguar.
And it was It was maybe, maybe six inches out of his six inches to a foot out of his reach.
You can tell it looks like the last three or four steps of that rally.
It looked like he quit running.
If he if he had put his head down and given a little more effort, eh galore would have caught that or should have caught that football that football was thrown perfect by Carson Wentz.
I knew it that I knew I knew at that point in the game.
I knew at that point in the game that Carson Wentz and the, uh, Russian, said Carson Wentz.
But I knew that the Eagles, at that point in the game, had mailed it in and they were done.
They were done that that was something that after that play, I was like The Eagles have mailed it in.
They have mailed it in.
They, they, they've given up.
They completely gave up in that game, and from that point on, I knew the game was over.
They were done and the last, like three minutes of free that last three and 1/2 minutes where they literally just ran the ball.
Every play they gave up, they gave up on that game.
It was it was hard to watch.
It was hard to watch.
Carson went through a lot of footballs, one stroke.
What once was definitely trying to force the football into, uh, into tighter windows that he should have, because I think he tell me he's trying.
He's everything in that.
He's the team Carson wants.
He's got no help, no help anywhere else on the field.
It's really bad.
He's got no help.
The play calling from from the play calling for the Eagles.
I believe Doug Peterson calling the plays the offensive place for the Eagles.
Um, it was It was bad, man. It was.
It was way overly, overly conservative.
No, no, no, no variety to it.
Do it just It was really in L.
A and just, uh, just bad.
And there were some.
There were some, some really head scratchers.
That 1 34 that the Eagles had 34 is a is a manageable third down.
That's 1/3 and short.
That's a manageable third down.
If you throw a stick route or come back or an l grow thio, you know, to a big body receiver or a tight end on the sidelines.
Or maybe you're running back in the flat.
That's a makeable third down, and they decide to run the football up the middle, you know, like right behind one of the guards.
Just head scratching playcalling.
It was like I said, there was a tough game to watch, Man.
It was it was tough to watch.
Yeah, I mean, there's really nothing more else to sailing on top of that.
So the special teams is bad.
Play calling was bad.
Let's talk about the Eagles offensive line.
They were horrible.
Lane Johnson is supposed to be one of Lane.
Johnson is supposed to be one of the better offensive lineman in the league.
He's supposed to be one of the better tackles in the league, and he did a lot of talking.
You get a lot of talking and DaMarcus Lawrence ate him up.
DaMarcus Lords absolutely ate that dude up.
It was not even a contest.
Lawrence had his way with Lane Johnson, and it wasn't only Johnson, so don't think I'm just gonna kind of get on him.
But it was that goes up.
The Eagles offensive line as a whole were all that.
They were terrible.
No, Carson Lens was running for his life the whole game.
And, uh, when he wasn't running for his life, he was on the ground or getting strip sack.
They were cowboys.
The line came to play.
They came to play.
It was it was for cowboys.
Played with purpose last last night.
Uh, they played with a purpose.
They played mad.
They played angry.
Um, and it showed.
They, uh they absolutely demolished the Eagles offensive line.
And the Eagles offensive line is supposed to be.
They are one of the better offensive lines in the league.
I mean, this year they definitely struggled.
But for your year, you know, for years past, for years, cast Dave Dave on.
They've been one of the better.
They've been one of the better offensive lines in the league.
They have been, but this this year, they they struggled, man.
The Eagles offensive line this year has Ruggles the day I don't get the my Mile Sanders.
I don't know about him in the in the, uh in the NFL as a as a quote unquote pure running back.
I you know, Sanders does too much left and right.
You need to go north and South Man run north and self.
He, uh, he's struggling.
He's struggling to find an open running late.
He struggles to find the open running lanes and it shows.
It definitely shows he he had a bad game last night.
The, uh, the Eagles hasn't asked.
Like Like I've been saying, the whole the whole kind of video here.
The Eagles as on as a whole.
Just kind of a bad night.
Yeah. Once didn't play good.
The Eagles defense was terrible.
The Eagles was there, there.
That's Secondary Eagle's way go.
We could go into the defense now for Billy that that eagle second areas that eagles secondary is really bad.
They That's the way that if that's the way that that secondary is gonna play the whole year, they're they're gonna struggle, man.
If that's the way that the Eagles are gonna play the rest of the year, they're they're even gonna struggle with some of these teams that aren't so good.
Cowboys receivers Amari Cooper had a day.
Yeah, yeah, he had a day last night.
That was, That was, I believe he beat up on upon Jalen Mills pretty good.
It's, uh, four game.
They've got a four game stretch before five games stretch coming up.
That's really going to challenge that secondary.
It's, uh, they better get it together.
They better get it together in a hurry.
They should just stick with.
We'll go back to the running game.
They should definitely just stick with Jordan.
Howard, Miles Sanders? Just I don't know.
He's not impressed me this year at all.
They should are.
They shouldn't nation more than likely just stick with.
They should stick with with Howard for the president.
Or at least most of the Carrie should go to Howard the remainder of the season.
Sanders just I don't know.
He's just not I don't know If he's not ready, you're He just doesn't see the feel good.
He just doesn't see the feel good at all.
It's It's gonna be a rough year for Billy.
That's that's for sure.
That's that's for sure.
On the Dallas side of the football, they played exceptional Dak Dak proved once and played well again.
He was able to limit the amount of mistakes he made.
Um, he didn't throw a couple of laws that were behind receivers and you know he had about.
I counted four ball, full order throws that we're We're not on target or or definitely were bad footballs, but it was and they weren't because of pressure on him.
They were just bad football's on his butt.
He did. He did enough to win the game.
You know, he did enough to manage the game. Zeke.
Well, I think I'm pretty sure Elliot had over 100 yards on the day.
I should say on the night it was Sunday Night Football long they Dallas is Dallas defense played well.
Notable loss for them is, though they lost.
They lost L V E to a neck injury, which is that's a big one.
They lost Lake Van dressed to a neck injury, John Lee Sean Lee stepped in and, uh, and was able Thio.
So I only stepped in and was able to to out perform well in late Vander Esther's absence.
So that was, uh, that was a good sign, but other than that guys, that's all that's about it.
That's pretty much all.
I, uh That's pretty much all I got for you guys.
All I got for you guys today, but thanks for watching.
And I will catch you guys later on case.
