Welcome back to another stream from Alex.
This is Unwrap Sports Week six.
NFL ****ysis is gonna be Sunday through Monday.
I already had a Thursday Night Football one eye planning to do Thursday night, Sunday night and Monday nights.
But unfortunately, if you know me personally, I have been at battling a very nasty fever and then it very nasty cold.
So that's why so let's go ahead and go to Sunday football in London.
Carolina, facing Tampa Bay, Carolina pulls his victory out 37 26.
Once they just completely fell apart. Five interceptions.
One form was law.
One form was lost.
He had two fumbles.
Ultimately, he's too loose with the ball.
He he's trying too hard to make plays where plays aren't necessarily there.
Um, I understand that with having Mike Evans and having Chris God, when you have the talent to be able to do that.
But he's just too risky with the Bond and it's just become fascist type of player.
He is. He's a type of gun.
He's like a gun slinger that is a more reckless like Jay Cutler, and I think that's kind of why he's had the struggles he's had because he just can't keep his team on the field when he starts getting it going.
Caffrey was able to score even without a solid game on the ground.
Get two touchdowns with the ground one through the air.
Allen played very well in places of Cam.
He did, ah, standup job, and he continues to get victories and help this team win.
I know a lot of that success should be given to McCaffrey, but I think Alan is in a great job of managing and being able to make plays when he has them.
I think that's probably the best case in there for the Panthers while they allow camp to recover.
Now, something really quick that I've started to see online is people trying to say that the pants should just steer away from Camden Noon.
I don't agree with that.
I think you still ultimately have.
They have to get one more shot out of him if you aren't pretty sold on Alan.
I think you need to see what Kim does against the 40 Niners because it looks like that's the game he's gonna be returning.
I think that's probably the best case scenario for the Panthers long term to see how their quarterback does.
And if they're not the happiest with it, and they think they're better off with Alan, he fits better into the game plan.
They're trying to run, moving forward.
I think that would be the time to make a switch.
I know there's gonna be a lot of teams interested in quarterback like Cam Newton, who, even though he's had a rough start to this season and a rough season this past year, he still has the likelihood of making a comeback in a system that, you know, Will Gardner his talent and make it work.
Next time we have is the Cincinnati Bengals at the Baltimore Ravens.
Ravens pull out a victory 23 17 score was a lot.
Seems a lot closer than it actually was in the game.
It was a garbage time touchdown.
It was basically 2017 throughout the whole game.
Lamar threw for over 200 yards, ran 100 yards on the ground.
He currently holds all 10 rushing records for Baltimore quarterback, which I'm only mobile quarterback.
They had it in any point the last couple years, probably Troy Smith, the ex Ohio State quarterback.
But I'm very impressed with Lamar Jackson.
I know a lot of people seem to kind of point fingers and say, Oh, you know, he he's too much of a runner.
You know, the whole running back comparison.
I think that should be able to be thrown out.
He's been able to do a lot with Andrew's.
He's been able to get a lot of things going with his offense, and I think the question of if he is an actual quarterback compared to a running back, I think it's all should be all out the window.
I know he's had a couple of rough games, but let him, you know, it's a second year under quarterback.
Let him, you know, get more involved with the offense, you know, set him up, t get more evolved the way he was in Miami, throwing a little deeper.
I think they need to get back to that aggressive mindset.
They do have a good running game guess Edward showed a very strong showing, you know, getting about half carries that Ingram got and that's running game should be their emphasis, but they should start to tryto run the play action carried out two marquees.
Try to get Andrews, you know, running a seam on the corner.
I think that's probably the best option for them.
Ravens are a very dynamic team.
Their defense right now is they just added Marcus Peters.
I think moving forward, they're gonna be doing a lot better.
I know Marcus Peters had been struggling on the Rams, but I think that has more to do with that unit of L. A.
More than it does.
Um, the unit that the Ravens have, I think he'll be revitalized and come out with a new inspiration to come out.
And ah, have that sa***e level of energy he had Ah, during the last year when the Rams were Ah, very formidable opponent Bangles offense.
They just continue to struggle, Boy, Nor Tate, nor Mix, and I've been able to really make that much happen.
Besides maybe just stuffing the stat sheets, I just think that the Bengals air just in a very tough spot where you know they don't really necessarily have an identity.
I mean, the Pittsburgh Steelers, when they were struggling, were able to get their defense.
Going against this offense is offensive line.
I just think the Bangles or one of those teams that they're in the process of, ah, forced rebuild.
I don't think they wanted to.
I think the injury to agent agree and really just kind of stamped at on the season.
Next game we have here is the Seattle Seahawks at Cleveland Browns.
Seattle pulls out a victory 38 2030 to 28.
Russell Wilson continues is M V P caliber season.
He continues to play well and not turn the ball over, which is a huge component.
I think that has him in my lead for M v P.
Besides the fact that he's just playing lights out, it's just the ability to keep the ball in possession for the Seahawks compared to other.
You know, compared to making turnovers or trying to make too much happen and you know, a lot of the place look like he's making too much happened.
But I think it's just his progression as a quarterback.
He's just been able to make those really tough throws like the one he made against the Los Angeles Rams hitting locking in the corner while he had to dance, dance around and get himself open.
So I get himself out of pressure.
I think that is both well for them. Moving forward.
And Russell Wilson is right now.
The leading candidate for M V P.
Carson continues to run the ball well, he had over 100 yards rushing.
Mayfield, just unfortunately for him, continues to throw the ball recklessly.
I think for the Browns, you know they had shoved go over 120 yards, two touchdowns.
You really gotta build that that game plan and scheme around chub and let may feel, get some play action.
They have the players to be able to pull off a play action with Chub and then somebody to split.
The defense opened with Odo Beckham, Jarvis, Landry.
I think that's probably there around moving forward because I don't think the Browns can afford to have a rough season based on them getting Odell Beckham Jr and then the development of Baker Mayfield, who looks like he continues to just be a gun slinger but a reckless one.
I'll, uh, James Winston, where you know he'll he'll you know, Philip, the sad sheet squirrel out of touch ends, but he has a huge risk of turning the ball over too often.
Um, I think at the moment right now may feel that's clearly not the guy who can take over the game through the air, get I just think the brandy to focus on chump and getting him going.
And once cream Hunt gets out of suspension if they choose to and to really involve him in the offense, I think both Cream Hunt and Chubb would be a good 12 punch, especially for a team that you know wants to establish the run and should be considering their shaky quarterback play.
Next game we have is the New Orleans Saints at the Jacksonville Jaguars.
13 6 Saints pull out that victory, Saints defense and presses.
They hold the Jaguars without a touchdown, which almost seemed unheard of, considering the way the Jaguars have just been able to pull out, scoring the way that Min Hsiu has, Bridgewater continues to lead this team to victory as Breeze continues to near his return.
I think in this offense, I know they struggled.
It only got 13 point points, joining Cook at the Seoul touchdown.
It was, Ah, probably a tougher game for the offense that I said the defense, the defense had a hell of a game.
But for the offense and a camaras hurt, he's hindered.
I know Latavius Marty looks to get, Ah, a few more looks in this offense, but, you know, if they don't know, stay healthy.
You know, Breeze coming back without tomorrow, I think it would be a huge hit.
The TV is. Murray's a great running back.
I just don't see him being the guy for the rest of the season to be the guy that paces his offense.
So I think in the situation, you know they have a tough game against the Bears.
They might need to kind of get Ah Hill more involved trying to get something going because their offense looks kind of.
It's lacking a dynamic, place scoring ability.
Unfortunately, I don't really chalk that up to much to Bridgewater.
I think that's just, you know, they played some pretty stout defense is the defense is that you know, have been getting after I know Jaguar.
Is there a team that is, you know, someone struggled on defense in recent memory but they're still pretty good unit, and they don't have Ramsey anymore.
But I think they still will play some inspired football behind Minshew.
But, yep, that's it for the Saints and Jaguars.
Next, we have the Houston Texans at the Kansas City Chiefs.
Texans Plot of victory, 31 24.
Watson just will this team to victory.
Even though he had two interceptions, he was able to get into the end zone himself twice through the ground.
Homes had three touchdowns, but was just unable to get his team of the victory.
I know some people are going to talk it up like, Oh, it's a defense, But it's always been the defense with the chief for the last 23 years, so I think in this situation it has to be more homes, being able to get it going.
Um, I just think they need to establish the run.
They haven't had a consistent number one guy or a guy that seems to be the guy who runs the ball.
Look, Shawn didn't get Carry one game.
Now he's getting majority of them.
Damian Williams. I know he's still kind of hindered.
Darryl Williams, you know, has his moments where he'll make a big play here and there.
But I think the chief's right now hurting by not having a running game, because as soon as they get off the field back for their offense, it's good to be back to their defense.
And I think their defense has its shortcomings.
And I think that might mean, you know, you kind of should be running the ball a little bit tryingto, you know, keep them off the field and keep their defense on the field.
I think that's kind of what cancer he needs to do, because it just looks like the defense is faltering and my home has enabled to just freely score as he has in the past.
Um, and Hopkins continues to uncharacteristic, uncharacteristically not be a game changer.
I think that's just playing within the offense that I don't think it's any bad thing about Hopkins or any bad thing about Watson.
Watson seems to be a guy that is trying to make the best play to win.
He's trying to make the best place.
I'm trying to force it and I think that's good.
A lot of ah quarter young quarterbacks to try to force it to their number one guy and, you know, get themselves in trouble ultimately.
But I think with Watson being able to spread the ball out, get his tight and stills involved, get Fuller involved.
You know, it has been a major asset for them, and, you know, I think for anybody who has hopping the fantasy, I know it's been a little disappointing to not have him have, Ah, crazy 2030.
30 plus point game.
I expect for that to change in the relative future.
But, you know, just be patient.
They have a quarterback that's, you know, trying to put them in the best position to win.
And I think as long as they went, Hopkins will not be upset about the the lack of shots downfield.
Next game we have is the Washington Redskins at Miami Dolphins.
McLaurin gets 100 yards, two touchdowns to lead the Redskins to a narrow victory.
Rosen got benched for Fitzpatrick and they actually lost going for two.
But I think that that's that's a perfect ending to a game like this.
I know that both teams are on the side of a rebuild, their tryingto see what they have in terms of talent on the roster.
And, you know, going for two was probably the best situation, as they're just trying to see who can make a play when It's a tough moment, unfortunately, when they were not able to.
So Dolphins continue to go winless and Redskins got their first victory of the season.
Next game we have is the Philadelphia Eagles at the Minnesota Vikings.
Cousins made Zac Brown eat his words and may have possibly lead to Zac Brown being released as cousins threw for four touchdowns after Brown Mayday.
Weakest Link Link Comment over Cousins play for the Minnesota Vikings.
Zac Brown actually played with him in men in Washington when he was a Redskin and took those little shots at Kirk Cousins.
Digs had a breakout game.
167 yards, three touchdowns.
I don't think that continues.
I through feeling digs will continue to get looks.
What? I don't think we should expect to see another outburst like this from digs.
Uh, Cook actually struggled against the Eagles.
I think that is a testament to their run defense, which then leads me to the Eagle secondary, which seems to be their killings here because of injuries and lack of ah locked down shutdown corner.
I know Jalen Mills is back, but I don't think that necessarily puts them in the best favor.
Um, Orlando's Kendricks come in and done a standup job for them, so I think that's great for them moving forward.
But you know, they don't make a move for some corner.
I think they're really susceptible to an aerial assault from a strong offense if they wanna try to push it into the playoffs.
And you know that right now every loss is just another nail in their coffin of the season.
Next game, we have the Atlanta Falcons that airs on the Cardinals.
Cartels pull out a victory, 34 33.
Calamari gets the job done with three pass touchdowns in earlier streams.
Like basically said that Murray has been able to fill the statute, but he hasn't been able to really scored no points score touchdowns.
It's mostly been, you know, Hey, travel, drive up, drive up jungle, game of driver drop field goal.
And I think that is, you know, gonna happen with the young quarterback.
You know that they're not trying to force it too much.
They don't want to make a huge mistake, but he was able to get the ball into the end zone three times through the air.
David Johnson ran one in as well.
Matt Ryan and Company.
I would be concerned.
It follows the Falcons.
I think if the Falcons lose two of the next year, I think Quinn is gonna be out as coach.
I think it's It's a testament of them that getting stronger defensively or maybe they don't have the best defensive scheme.
The reason that kind of falls on Quinn this is.
Quinn is a defensive specialist, so even if he's not personally heavily involved in needed the defensive calls, I think he needs to be held accountable since as a defensive guru, that should be the one cornerstone of your team.
That should still be a above average group, and they just continue to just allow anything and often.
I mean, they just had the Houston Texans put up 50 something against them.
Defense has left the office down on Matt Ryan at four touchdowns.
Devante Freeman had 88 yards to the ground.
I think in this situation you know that often said everything that could.
Scoring 33 points.
You should theoretically win the game, and your defense should be able to hold them toe under 30.
Falcons defense Falcons as they fall to have a believe one and five.
Here is the San Francisco 40 Niners at L A to face the Rams 400.
4 niner defense held the Rams offense to 157 yards.
I No, because, uh, I faced a couple people in fantasy who had Rams players, and the majority of them did not perform very well.
I know golf himself struggled heavily against his teeth.
I think this was a lot more to say about the 40 Niners defense and it just to say about the Rams offense because we have seen them be able to get hot on be ableto score a lot of points, especially this season, you know, when they were ableto keep it, keep it very close and where ah Greg Zuerlein kick away from beating the Seahawks.
I think right now the Rams air just beside themselves and other defense looks like the shell of themselves.
But, you know, it might change with the addition of Jalen Ramsey.
I think a move like that from the front office kind of gives the defense a newfound life.
I think moving forward, I believe they'll be in a better place right now.
It looks like it's Jalen Ramsey and Troy Hill are the starters, while keeps the league is on the I R and Marcus Peters got traded to the Baltimore Ravens.
I think that Ramsey events should come alive, but up until Van and their offense has to be able to score.
But, you know, and I just knew this was one of the games where it's just the defense was just that much better, and it held the Los Angeles Rams to only seven points, which is unheard of in these last three seasons.
We've seen them progress into a top tier team.
Next game we have is the Tennessee Titans going to Denver to face of Broncos.
They get shut out 16 Mario's, that is the starter.
Tannehill takes over every performances from both not one of them, Really.
Neither of them really had a big moment in the game.
Broncos take advantage of their bad quarterback play and their defense is able to, you know, forcing things to make to, Ah, they were forcing things to get, So get them the victory.
But I think the Broncos are like the Titans are just the team that's on Rebel trying to see what they have in terms of talent for the next season.
Uh uh, I think the Titans having the struggle with quarterback.
I don't think you win in this league without a solid NFL quarterback, and Tannehill is, unfortunately, not a solid NFL quarterback.
He's good, but he's not great.
I don't expect him Thio.
I expect them to get a few victories, but I think the Titans are gonna be done this season.
Next game we have is the Dallas Cowboys visiting the Jets in New York, 24 22.
Dallas should begin to panic.
I don't mean this is a slight to the Jets, but the Cowboys have all the talent to be able to beat this team.
They didn't execute.
They don't get their game plan going.
Donald throws two touchdowns on this defense.
One was a 90 yard toe.
Anderson Jets are a good team, but and I'm saying that based on my overhype of Darnold, the way he looked.
But Dallas should be Donald coming from a from an injury.
I think he should theoretically, and the Cowboys defense should theoretically be able to shut a team like this down.
The fact that they were not able to just seems to just bring a bigger seed of doubt into their season and the way that it's going.
I think right now if the Cowboys faltering, lose four games in a row, I think the seat starts to get hot for Jason Garrett.
Even though Jerry Jones continues to act like it's not, you can't have a team of this caliber.
I mean, they have Amari Cooper, who I know was very hindered in this game they have.
Michael Gallop was a young, very strong looking receiver.
When it when it comes to, ah, the ability to, you know, take over a game, I think he has that.
That capability Zeke deck, the defense that has a lot of formidable players.
It's it's very concerning and I think this, um if they lose the fourth human or I think it sounded panic in Dallas Sunday Night Football, we have the Pittsburgh Steelers against the Los Angeles Chargers.
One thing I noticed about this game and I know said a lot of the broadcast, and I think it says a lot is BizRate Fan base travels well, as it almost always know is, but this game in particular, really felt like a home game for Pittsburgh.
I think that kind of that's very that's very detrimental to I think it teams from around when you see that you're at home.
But you're really not in, you know, the whole situation where they played a Steelers hype song in the fourth quarter.
Just seem a little weird.
Fora charges home game.
I think that definitely added salt to the wounds.
But Steelers defense got after Rivers early and often they were ableto you know, Devin Bush had himself a game returning a fumble for a touchdown and getting an interception running the game Running the running game for the Steelers has been the emphasis I and I think that's what it's gonna be moving forward without Ben Roethlisberger.
I think Rudolph's gonna gonna have ah, pretty good game.
Uh, is this next game against the Dolphins being a good I guess Tune of game to kind of see what he can do.
See how it feels, See if the you know everything's good.
I know he did pass the concussion protocol, but I think this week is, ah, good week for them to rest and give Rudolph the extra second week.
I mean, basically three weeks.
Total toe restaurants.
Hodges did a great job.
He managed the game as you expect 1/3 stringer to d'oh and you can't really be upset at his play.
I mean, he wants him.
He didn't get to air it out.
He did get intercepted.
But again, it comes with the territory of, Ah, third string quarterback.
You know he's not in the game.
He doesn't really.
He's very rarely going to be in a position where he's gonna play.
I know in this the situation was a second stringer, but I think this is great in terms of our quarterback death, because it just shows us, you know.
Hey, Hodges has been ableto bit.
Come in there and get a victory.
Rudolph has come in there and gun gotten us a victory.
And, you know, I think the Steelers still have a chance to make the playoffs.
They just need a whole lot of help in a whole lot of, Ah, strong performances from Connor, and then we get Juice a little bit more involved.
But this came out of really big surprise in that Henry had a big, big game, eight receptions, 100 yards, two touchdowns.
A lot of people had him out for the year with that fibula injury.
He came out and blew everybody away with his performance. He had great.
Um, Alan, unfortunately, was only able to get the ball twice.
Two receptions for 33 yards.
That is a major concern, as he is part by far your most dynamic Ariel assault weapon you have.
And I just think that, you know, in this game, I think Alan, unfortunately was not able to get it going, but it just didn't seem like they were able to get anything going.
As even Heckler and Gordon struggle Thio run the ball.
But yeah, it was a statement victory for the Pittsburgh Steelers, and I know that the Chargers have struggled as of late, but I wouldn't count them out.
I think they still have a riel ability of getting hot and getting things going on, then we have here Monday Night Football Detroit at Green Bay.
This game is shrouded by a lot of Tao as to know the outcome of the game with two hands of, uh to the face penalties against flowers from Detroit.
Um, which I know that the officiating came out and said that it was actually an heir.
Rogers ableto will out of victory, regardless of what the situation was.
His young receivers are just continuing to struggle.
They don't seem to be.
No one has stepped up yet.
I know that, you know, a couple players have had good games when Davante Adams has been out, but I just don't think the Packers offenses as dynamic without Davante Adams, cause Davante Adams is just a a human mismatch.
I think he's, uh, Rogers completely misses in my son.
Of the interceptions that the Packers receivers have given up have been due to the receiver's not holding on the bone and putting it up in the air and giving the defender a chance to make a play.
Jimmy Graham has hot and very freezing cold games.
I I don't know what's going on with him.
I don't know if it's just the decline in in an ability, or maybe it's just he's not really integrated in the game plan is a lot of us would think he would be.
But Jimmy Graham continues to just under perform, and I think that should be something that continues.
He'll have a game or two, but I just don't think Jimmy Graham is Ah, a dominant tight and I think it's just the name now.
But for Detroit got a had a hell of a game 121 yards through the air against a Sa***e lists secondary for the Green Bay Packers.
Galatea did his job.
Did everything he could.
Matthew Stafford played a great game, carry on job.
Johnson had a solid game.
I think the lines and unfortunate for them.
They're in last place now due to a very tough loss based on ref calls, but no, unfortunately, there's nothing we can do to change that.
But Detroit I wouldn't count them out.
They seem to have this will to fight and continue Thio to make things happen.
I think that is a very good sign for Detroit fans who I know are very stressed out about what's going on and, you know, they seen a game slip out of their hands that could have had him in first place.
The only thing you can do now is just three group and say We got to play better So we don't let the refs, uh, put the game in the refs hands, so to speak.
But that is it for my NFL Week six ****ysis from Sunday to Monday If you wanted to hear ****ysis on Thursday Night Football, I have a Thursday night football stream below this one.
That is it for the stream.
This is Alex from Unwrap Sports Goodbye.
