Welcome to the Week six recap for fantasy football as well as the Lions versus Packers preview for tonight's game.
My name is Carl Santa.
I am the managing editor for full press coverage.
Fantasy sports as well, a full press coverage Packers.
So welcome in in, ah, interesting week in fantasy so far and pretty excited for tonight's game.
First, I want to start off by talking about statement games.
Statement games is a, uh it is. The name implies.
It's not betting so anyone can do this.
Anyone's legal, it's available for everyone.
And it's pretty fun.
I played myself so far this NFL season, it's It's been pretty great.
Um, so the principle of it is, um, it's proper again prop betting.
But it's not gambling.
Uh, where you pick certain props for games.
So you, uh, um, you There's so in Vegas has their spreads on their games, and they've got over unders for points toward by the teams.
And on these props, you can pick from among those just on who will win by whatever the spread is.
Um, and you know that they also have individual player props, so yards on players over under whether it's passing.
Receiving a rushing.
Sometimes it's touchdown.
Sometimes you have a combination of players.
Two receivers on the same team.
Well, uh um, to put your two players with the same team combined for certain number perceptions.
What? Not, um, and they may see joint statement games.
Now, you can, uh you can get Dad, but you can.
Well, first off, I join you receive coins.
And after that, uh, you can use those coins to enter contests including our sponsor contest for full press coverage.
We do every Monday night.
So this week will be alliance and packers.
Uh, also, uh, coins can earn your money.
Oh, our redemption in terms of gift cards So you can assure number of coins you demon for gift cards at, uh, a variety of different places.
But for the full press coverage contest, we're also donating prizes mostly merchandise from are just are designed to restore.
So the people who do the best throughout the season in these Monday night contest will receive originals.
So tonight's contest is the alliance and Packers has mentioned the preview for football s O just to give some examples of how this works.
The Vegas spread whatever point this contest was printed.
There's a five and 1/2 points by the Packers, so you can either choose.
Okay, the Packers will win by five and 1/2 points.
Or under that, uh, and the individual points Well, they have the lions at 21.5.
The package 26 might fives.
You can pick over under on either of those choices.
No, you end up picking 10 props. 10.
Statement says they call them, and you ordered them in that your highest priority statement.
If you get it correct.
Well, can you? 10 points 2nd 98 and all the way down to one of your least least prioritized.
Uh, if you get it incorrect, you get nothing force.
And you know, it's small contests, usually a maximum 12 sometimes even eight.
So, uh, you know, the chances of winning are decent again, pretty fun.
And, uh, I recommend Brooklyn to do it, check out all the contest there, but especially of evil press coverage.
That's what your contest.
So, um and actually actually to give some more examples of some of the receiving stuff because That's what thing I find cool cause a lot of props and statement type games that I've seen in the past have been with players like specific players over and under.
But here they have some things.
Geronimo, Alison and Jay Kuo over under 10 and 1/2 combined receptions.
You can choose either of those options.
Whatever you think, uh, be tracked.
You can also, um, you know, you do.
There are some specific player ones.
Aaron Jones over or under 1.
Sometimes I find they actually spread the over and under.
Like, for instance, carry on.
5 touchdowns, but under half a touchdown, so that's kind of giving you.
Ah, that's that's interesting.
How they do it sometimes worse than Aaron Jones is.
The over and under is at 1.5.
So I mean things to think about with the guards to that sometimes they have a whole position group like Green Bay tight ends over 65.
5 combined receptions.
They always have defensive stuff, usually over under on turnovers and or sacks, uh, lines over under two and 1/2.
So the Packers have sacks.
Some of you see two and 1/2 times you see three and 1/2 turnovers.
It's usually one and 1/2 for both over and under on then field goal kicks.
Sometimes you get two and 1/2 on over.
Other times you get, uh, one and 1/2 on over, usually the under those.
So again, those those are all options to pick from.
And it's super fun.
And we could, I guess, used that the transition into the Packers and Lions preview.
So as you know, full press coverage editor for managing editor for full press coverage, packers And, um so one of the things going into this game is basically gonna be my same exact, uh, sort of warning and precursor to last game.
Which was How come the Packers defend the run now? The Cowboys kind of did it for the Packers.
They just didn't really run that much.
That was sort of, uh oh, definitely interesting and bit of a certain extent the passing game was working at times.
It's just, you know, interceptions by Dak, and I'm gonna say an interception by Cooper cause again that that first place 00 Cap that sort of driving Britain and talk about nothing for the Packers.
They punt on the opening drive.
You know the bubble is in the Cowboys territory and their home stadium, and they just have to punt.
It's not a great way to start on the road.
And then the Cowboys just drive down the field from their own half.
Some big plays sets up really nicely.
But then Bam Jack throws an interception.
I both blamed Jack Cooper.
Cooper got some separation in that hit him right in the hands, and Cooper just tipped it right.
Ted Jr. Alexandru ran back.
I can't ever have any art, is that it was quite a long return.
Um, what's there to say, though, uh, Ze Key ran 12 carries, 6 62 yards.
That's actually pretty decent.
Um, yeah, I know.
I felt like it was definitely the better games against the run.
They've certainly loud, huge production.
It's a Denver, Um, and certainly the Eagles.
That was really costing the game, therefore on one.
And this came to just the way that set up after that interception.
The Packers went down, they scored a touchdown.
And, uh, yeah, that the Cowboys just kept turning the ball over.
Packers kept taking advantage. It was 24.
Nothing before the pack of Cowboys actually put points on the board, 34 24 actually, kind of.
Instead of maybe a closer game, it was.
The Cowboys definitely played better.
But at the end of the day was it Wasn't there necessarily a game plan? The best way to beat the Packers? Have you throw all the time and force the past Russian? The Packers? I keep saying that.
It's a lucky foreign one.
They keep getting a lot of turnovers, But you know, to be fair to them, their pass rush is causing a lot of disruption, enforcing quarterbacks into bad decisions.
So you look at those 1st 2 wins.
You've got to rescue those the the pick in the end zone.
Then Kirk cousin does the same thing the next game, both in the fourth quarter, both late.
Keep moments where those quarterbacks don't throw those footballs.
Hang on to take the sack, maybe turns out differently.
But you know, this pass rush has been pretty great.
Other than the Eagles game.
They've looked really good, even against the Cowboys.
I know no tyrant Smith, which was kind of a big thing, that the Cowboys and Packers were losing each of them to their big offensive weapons.
I mean, it definitely affected the Packers passing game.
They just didn't need to win that way.
They just ran on on the ground.
I don't know that the Cowboys defense is necessarily as good as the line's defense, specifically in run defense, football outsiders has metric called Devi away defense adjusted value over average on they measured, play and play efficiency on defense with succeed on plays or not.
Whatever they know they consider a successful is because that's the subjective part.
But according to their metric, the Lions have an above average pass rush while the Cowboys is below.
So that that does make a difference.
Very sorry. Run Defense.
Uh, pass defense is actually about the same kind of average a boat like that again, it looks like the lines or slightly above average in the Cowboys, just below average kind of right on the average line.
Um, so, by all accounts, this looks like a better defense than what they faced last week.
Probably not as good as the Eagle, so that I think there is still a chance.
But at the end of the day, the Lions do you have the personnel and in terms of carry on Johnson and kind of the head coaching for lost people.
Darrell Bevell it as the offense coordinator but also having a defensive minded head coach in Matt Patricia.
But they're probably gonna run the football.
This isn't Damian began the Cowboys as much as they have the personnel to run the football.
Their head coach is a former quarterback, their offensive coordinators of former quarterback hand.
While there's maybe more leverage to not used ACOG's much, especially if you're with this contract negotiation, maybe they're trying to see if he is he Is he worth it? They're gonna try and put him in the fire, I don't know, and he didn't look good and he has looked at times, but really, they needed to run the football.
Now you've got a proven quarterback and Matthew Stafford still isn't any playoff wins.
But regardless, there's a lot of good quarterbacks like you can say that about um, which is less than Tim Tebow.
Sorry, didn't guess all those quarterbacks, but Stafford's a pretty good quarterback, and he's proven of times that, you know, the fourth quarter needed me comebacks.
He, uh, remember he broke a record, was held previously by Peyton.
But then Eli got it in this 2011 season because this is his best season ended with a Super Bowl win.
So it's really tough to, by any measure, not at its best season.
But, uh, he ended up with 89 4th quarter comebacks.
So that season you proved he was question and pretty sure the lines made the playoffs.
That here, that might have been the year they lost to Dallas.
Strangely enough, Packers previous opponent But, uh, yes again, the game plan for the lines, it's probably gonna be run the football.
I see it's livelier than the Cowboys, and they probably saw what the hell was having personnel with that offensive line with Ezekiel Elliott.
And he went and lost because they food too much.
So now they're probably thinking you better not fall into that trap again.
Darryl Devils, you know him as an offensive coordinator loves to run the football, so I wouldn't be surprised if they were Definitely.
We're definitely more rushing attempts for the Lions.
Then there were passing teams.
Now, if we look at their previous games, um I mean, they Okay, so they get the game against the Cardinals, where they had a big lead and allowed the cardinals to kind of hang around.
I mean, they ran the football.
Enough in that game camps here.
I mean, they're in the football 32 times and they passed a 45.
Uh, obviously, those numbers are elevated cause I came to go to overtime.
That was again a game where they had a lead in the decided to pass a little more than you.
You couldn't just run out the clock.
They actually had to kind of for a game of the hand against the charges in the low scoring affair.
Pretty times and ran it 26 or a little bit closer, um, again.
And they won that game.
So the first game, uh, you know, there's a tie didn't lose.
And then they went and they beat the Eagles.
That was a game where they threw the ball 30 times, ran it 32 passing attempts.
28 Ronnie Rushing attempts again.
They always passed a little more.
It's been about 50% but that's pretty low with the league is it's probably gonna end up eating something like that.
At least that's what the Lions hope.
Um now gives the chief's lab, UH, two weeks ago and it being 34 passing attempts and 35 Russian attempts.
So that was actually one where they ran more.
And the it's because the chief's defense is similar to the Packers, although it worse in both regards.
Not that much worse against the run in breaking up that much worse against the past least again.
Coordinated Devi away.
Uh, not counting this week.
Six games yet but five weeks.
The Chiefs have the second worst second least effective running defense.
The Packers are basically looked at their fifth, just slightly ahead of the Panthers where, as you know, the Packers air fifth and the best fifth most effective past events with least effect against the run but certainly talk five against past.
According this metric, and the Chiefs want that far behind, it looks like their eighth best pass defense.
So while on the outside, it's kind of a struggle.
It's really been the run game where they've been exposed.
And so the Lions, they decided to tilt their game, plan more towards the run against them, even though it was on offense, certainly capable of putting up points.
And while they did so on the ground, you know, three rushing touchdowns combined from a coin.
Williams running wasn't super effectively mean Williams.
Eight attempts for 13 yards.
And, yeah, there was some goal line attempts there that's going to skew the numbers a little bit, especially, you only have eight attempts.
A Macquarie, 11 56.
It's better of a percentage for Kerry.
Certainly, it was all kind of boosted by a long 39 yard run.
That's maybe what Aaron Jones got to do to succeed is get those big runs.
The I think that the big heroes for the Packers all season, I think in the offensive line and they've done it with some injuries.
The offense lining Galaga missed some of ah week four against the Eagles.
They had Alex like, come in, but then Bulaga played all 100 snaps, all 100% of snaps last week against the Cowboys, so that's looking better.
That's good that he was able to make health because the Packers actually lost quite a few players in that game to injury.
I remember it was six different starters exited at some point, uh, on the other offense or defense, and luckily, Blogger was not one of them.
So that Bach Terry Bulaga Tanner has been great.
A tackle and maybe a again.
I keep no disrespect. Elaine Taylor.
I think he's a really good player, and I hope he gets back because an offensive line depth is important.
Um, but it does seem like Elton Jenkins is ex selling in that role left garden.
Frankly, from what I've seen, this play better than lame. Taylor.
I know Layne Taylor.
I gave a lot of flak is he played really bad against the Bears in the opener.
They, uh, they got some free rushes off a few times and again as a guard.
That's what the middle you really can't allow that at least get a hand on Eun.
If it's just for a split second to give Roger that extra time that there is some place where you just yet? Not no chance there's whether it was any.
Rogers are Aaron Jones, whether his past run eso.
After that, though.
He did play better against the Vikings, uh, but then got injured.
And since then, though, Ellen Jenkins, the third round rookie pick, has looked really great, actually, Um, certainly good and run blocking.
There's Ah, he was a really important in one of the touchdown runs, but there's a couple big run plays that they made necessary.
He's sealing off blocks and really just bullying guys out there.
It was great to see, actually on in a rare move that don't see this a lot.
It's not the only time I've ever seen this, but, uh, when a guard pulls out for a pass protection, not just using, you see it and run block, maybe a screen pass.
But they had him actually go out and block an edge.
Rusher kind of did a stunt, and there's the real bad and well designed by the Packers.
Yeah, Jenkins able to get out there and block the Russia enough time to give Rogers a deep shot.
I don't think he completed, but that the uh before the Cowboys were forced to commit pass interference on Rwanda.
Alison on that place.
So it certainly led the packers down the field.
I mean, give Rogers timeto, uh, make a cash withdrawal of it.
Alison had a chance to get I mean, then Stevie, I was interfered with I still like it was definitely turned the tides a little bit.
I mean, there are bigger, but it's definitely kept the momentum in the packers favorite.
So offensive line play has been great.
Now, Cory Lindsley, Miss last game.
Well, you started it, and he was, And he was one of the six starters that left, and she a lot of them ended up being on on defense.
And offense is one That man you think would really hurt you. Losing your center.
Uh, but I gotta say, Lucas Patrick came in and he played really well.
He, uh I mean, he like this, for instance, the snaps, like I think I remember one snap that was kind of off a little bit.
It was a lot of times, you see a bad snaps, usually lower high.
But his was just a little to the right of the quarterback.
I guess his right to base in the same direction, but yeah, just a little off to the right, Uh, which, lucky enough is a sign that Aaron Jones was on it and kind of just ended up going right to Jones.
And he took off from the look of the play.
Seemed like it was gonna design wasn't compromised by it.
Um, although knowing Jones, if it things were kind of panic, I would see him just taking it to the outside.
And I mean, it worked because that's that does tend to be healthy.
I wonder if tonight against the Lions I might actually be the way Uh, it goes now.
Cory Lindsley was limited, productive production, purchase patient until Saturday.
And then you practice fully, which I think tells me he's cleared.
So it looks like Lindsay is good to go, but, uh, I mean, definitely have Lucas Patrick.
They sometimes bring him in his off extra offensive lineman and certainly proved his worth there and has a reason to keep him.
I know someone who I was a really big fan of was Justin McRae, and, uh, kind of see why maybe Lukas Patrick got that job over my grave s Oh, yes.
Again, if this offensive line has been solid and and again now that Jenkins has proven himself, I kind of consider him the starters.
It's not lame. Taylor.
I think Lane Taylor.
He's going back to a backup role when he does get.
If he does come back healthy this year, I know he's on.
I are not season ending.
I are yet, you know, they can change that designation when its time.
But if he does return, I don't know that he's getting his job back as a starter.
So, to me, that leaves kind of that makes this.
This is the starting five unit for the guards.
You know, Bachtiar it left tackle Jenkins at left guard.
Corey Lindsley, its center.
Um, yes, ma'am, we've ever really talked about. What's it? Billy Turner.
They got one of the creation science Billy Turner, right guard and then Brian Bulaga right tackle.
So as long as that unit's going, I I like the Packers chances in this, but something tells me that the way the Packers are gonna win this game is if they get up to a big, they cannot allow Detroit to get the big lead and have them just run the football over.
The defense, which hasn't been able to really stop, runs up the middle too often.
Blake Martinez does a great job as he can, but I've said it before.
If he guesses the right gap, that the run place coming through, he can use to get it.
And he doesn't really miss a lot of tackles.
He's a pretty sure tackler.
Great technique, Uh, very fast, natural.
It's It's always used to be strength.
That was the thing with him, especially as a rookie, uh, was that he would just your power runners could just push right through him, But he's really worked on that.
He's gotten a lot stronger, even even in the second year.
But now you can tell he's definitely a legit force as a middle linebacker.
But you need some help there, whether it's B.
Goodson, who also left last week with an injury and he was a starter or in Burke's, has returned.
He played a little bit and he actually had a pretty good tackle on Ezekiel Elliott. That's a good sign.
Physiques got the moves, the shifting, its but also the power it pushed through.
So the Burkes to get attacked, like Gettinto only being a four yard gain.
Which again? Against Ezekiel Elliott.
I I'll take a four yard run now.
No, don't let them get first downs every time.
So is good play by Burkes? Ah, he ended up playing what? I think about 40% of snaps.
Oh, you know, I know, actually dealing playing 15% the snaps.
So And Goodson only had 27 so really, they only played with, ah, second inside linebacker on 42% of snaps, not even half the time.
They preferred their five defensive backs and they played off.
And I don't expect the stray away from that too much, but I do think Brooks is gonna play more than 15% of snaps now.
BJ Goodson isn't on the injury report this week, so I'm guessing he's good to go.
Uh, the only inactive for the Packers are still Davante Adams.
Uh, Darnell Savage, which this is gonna hurt, I think as if he's been so well is a free safety, and I know what they talked a lot about in training camp is having savage and animals kind of switch a little bit.
You see it sometimes where Savage will come down and kind of play.
The strong role sometimes blitz, but he's a really good presence, is a free safety and other than that gaffe he had on a Taliban cooks 75 year touchdown run.
Been good, A tackling.
He stopped a big run on Mile Sanders against the Eagles, where very similar looking played up to the line is that it kind of already cut to the left, and Savage got the angle and brought him down.
It was it was a big game.
They got a first down, but it wasn't a touchdown run like it was against Cook.
I make cookies out that's gonna hurt Robert Tanya in.
He's out, and he has been figuring there's a tight end, especially when they want to stretch the field with tight end so that it hurts a little bit.
It hurts in that regard, just a little bit.
20. Brown is doubtful with his hamstring.
Uh, he had a limited practice on Saturday, but after not practical it this week and he missed last week and I believe he missed the week before.
Yeah, I only played Ah, yeah, he's only really played much in and we want He didn't see the field defense in Week two.
Uh, but also Kevin King saw play the field playing playing way more than he had before.
Um, and Josh Jackson barely played in that game, too, but Josh Jackson started.
Have to play more lovely Kevin King, who was also injured.
He, uh, he had a limited practice participation all week, but he has no injury designation.
It does seem like everyone else is good to go.
So I know, uh, mentioned deejay goods and left that game.
Kevin King left that game.
Which, uh, you know, even with Donald Savage out it's gonna make it's gonna force Will Redman to be on the field a little more.
He seems like it's pretty good against the speed covered guys.
Uh, he had trouble covering the tight ends now, but TJ Hawkinson he is questionable with a concussion.
And, you know, fresh off the concussion usually means out just barely.
I mean, if he's if he's been cleared medically, you figured it would be a good go.
I don't know if he's gonna play tonight.
I guess we'll find out shortly.
Probably should be getting those reports soon.
Um, yeah, I think for the Packers, it's again gonna be two.
Even without Davante Adams get for big leading early.
And that means being aggressive and passing with Rogers and maybe making this the game.
He's gonna find his groove.
I know for them, actually, I don't know if this is lucky.
This is and maybe the Maybe the guys on the team would want to prove this, but I almost find this kind of I don't know if I want to have to face this, but my nails out.
What injury didn't practice it all this week.
I'm sure he was itching to get back, and I've been dreading this moment.
As soon as I found out it that he signed with the Lions the day after the Packers cutting my Oh, I knew that circling this that at home game because here's the thing with the Packers.
Their own fortunes alliance right now, they'd rather they got a four game losing streak.
They've been swept the last two seasons and there they've lost three of the last four games in Lambeau.
I wrote about revenge.
I wrote about this in the offseason.
Full press coverage, Packers but their toughest opponents this year to me, we're gonna end up being the Eagles and the Chiefs and the Cowboys just because they're running ability.
Although that went a lot better than I expected.
Certainly, I thought the Packers could win that game because really trust the Cowboys defense.
Uh, but I thought that would be a harder game to him now, Um, and and then, of course, I also mentioned, though, regardless of those two, like the Eagles and cheeses, just because they're Super Bowl contenders, right? I mean, the Eagles only just wanted two years ago, so you have to respect him.
And, uh, you know you enough to beat the Packers closing.
The Packers could have won that game.
Uh, you know, having the bone on the one yard line.
I mean, I don't know how many plays like we play it.
No, for like, six place in there and not getting one interception out of that.
Don't even have nothing else that hurt.
And they definitely could have won that game, but it didn't.
And that's gonna maybe my future with the line, because I think that again.
The division opponent tough.
But the lines have certainly had the Packers number, Even like last year.
They beat the Packers twice, and the Packers still finished with a better record where because the Lions are just dreadful last year, but they managed to beat the Patriots and beat the Packers, and still only one like five games.
Because I don't know about the Lions last year, but it seemed always have the Packers number, no matter how well they're playing.
And this year they got a winning record.
To this point, they've only lost one game.
I definitely think it's gonna be a tough test for the Packers, and one might even argue their toughest test, even their second toughest test so far this year after the Eagles.
UM, I mean, playing the Bears on the road certainly was a difficult test, and defense really broke out, came to play and did everything they needed, but outside of that game, they really haven't contained the run that well, uh, I mean, the getting contained it pretty well against the Cowboys, but that was more self inflicted.
I just couldn't run as much as they wanted you or should have.
That will be the challenge today against the Lions.
We have the actives inactives year, so or the Lions TJ Hawkins and is, in fact active, though.
So forget what I was saying earlier.
Yeah, he's active. So is Danny Amendola.
That gives them to receiving weapons that could be exploited, but certainly again.
Teacher Hawkins, it maybe Adrian. Adrian.
Animals kind of been tasked with covering tight ends like that.
You will see a lot of that This game certainly expect, um, Jay Alexander probably gonna cover, uh, can Golladay.
Although I don't know that it's that crazy to put Kevin King on Kenneth Kenny Golladay Kevin King seems to be ableto handle the bigger physical wide receivers.
I mean, Colonel Sean Jeffrey scores touchdown when Alexander was covering him.
Where is Kevin King? Kind of.
Shut him out, Let him catch a few passes, but, uh, help him out of the end zone.
Otherwise it gives you Jeffrey's only touchdown came against Alexander and Alexander.
Got burned quite a bit last week.
Cooper everything there was, though I found Alexander was playing off coverage far too often.
I thought he should have got off the line and press Cooper.
He's the Cooper's, an elite level separator.
You give him that much space, he's he's gonna burn you every time.
I don't like qualities at that level of separation.
He is more of a fighter, kind of contested catch kind of guy.
I see Kevin King almost being the better cover there.
And Alexander kind of you're taking the Marvin Jones asked, taking their deep.
The only aspect taking that out of the game, not allowing the lines to get too quick scores and stuff.
So we'll see how the coverage it handles that because I pardon me thinks they're gonna put Alexander on gold.
They sent a message.
Our top guys taking your top guy.
Is that really fast enough to keep up with John's, though? So I'm not too worried about it.
Uh, Damian does again.
He's gonna play.
But if Sherman Williams is covering him, I don't know how much he's gonna impact.
And he completely shut out angle or Nelson aglow in the Eagles game, helping one target only.
I mean, he was blanket him all night from the slot, and that's kind of how he's been doing the one aspect of William's game. E.
I think he's 36 now.
It's a 14 year veteran.
You've seen a lot, and he understands a lot of coverages and howto get leverage on players, especially underneath.
Where you beat him, though, is forcing the issue deep.
And Randall Cobb did a really good job that last week for the Cowboys was mean.
They're bright spots.
Were the passing game get? Cooper had a career high 226 passing yards and a touchdown.
Michael Gallup had a big day come back from injury.
Cobb did well when they targeted him.
So uh, certainly can be beaten through the air.
But I think this this Lions offensive line isn't as good as the opponent I've seen the last few weeks.
Why do you expect, uh, but Preston Smith in this area? Smith with both players that laughed and feel like that area.
Smith has gone down with an injury every game and injury, right, and it goes down and comes back to play And he happened three times against against the Cowboys, where he got hurt left, came back, played, got her left, came back and kept dominated, came back.
Lady left the third time late enough, they shut it down from there.
You want to risk anything? Uh, we got no injury designation for either, so they should be good to go now.
I did mention a fantasy recap of the week.
So I guess my final notes for the Packers is again.
The Lions game plan should be run the football.
Is Oren Burkes gonna make a big difference in that? On Helped the Packers won.
Defense will see.
I happen to think it probably won't make too much of a difference.
And that's where the Lyon success is gonna be again.
Um, it's not the best defense they face this year, but the offense has struggled.
The offensive line has been great.
Uh, which, and no Mike Daniels means.
Maybe this is more exploitable on the ground.
So maybe look for Aaron Jones to have a big day here.
You know, Jamal willing is back as well.
Uh, and it seemed like they were gonna win that game against the Eagles right off the bat.
Their first play from scrimmage was the plate Williams got hurt on.
They ran both of them on the field, Williams and Jones.
And they know Williams.
They happen to give him the screen pass.
Took a nasty hit on Dhe.
Didn't really have much to running back said after that, because the only other active running back Waas fullback Dan Bye, Talley.
Uh, now Dexter Williams is back to an active.
So know him this week.
I mean, actually, texture Williams hasn't been active all season.
The problems there receptions and pass cash.
And I think that's gonna be a huge part of the game plan today, though, it's going to be.
Can the Packers win through the air? But one of the ways to into the air might be the underneath stuff to safer stuff.
Keep the clock running, not give her the Lions much time, because, I mean, the Lions plan is probably going to be, uh, can we keep the clock running? Keep the clock out of Packers, and I think the Packers would be wise.
Take a similar approach, uh, 80.
Keep their defense rested.
So no, Mike Daniels means I think you can exploit the ground a little more than what you could have.
So I expect to run heavy approach from both teams.
Obviously, if one team gets up to a big lead in that plane goes away for the other team.
So I think it's gonna be key.
The Packers love to get out there early. Start.
I think this is another game.
We're gonna need to get that home.
They seems like that, you know, it's always 14.
At least it was classic Rogers, and last few games have been that where they've gone out to score lead suddenly.
So if they could get out, get a 14 nothing lead in the first quarter.
That's what's up, I think.
Well, the kind of game trip with Packers win out there definitely much better front running team when their passwords could get after the quarterback.
So I looked for this game to us.
Have fireworks right from the get go.
So again, quick recap of this week's fantasy scores.
So, ah, first game of the week was the Giants and Patriots.
Patriots won, 35 14.
I know there were too many surprises.
The defense's came to play for both games.
Ability for them, for all games with the Patriots, I should say, um, you know, they've been one of the best fantasy for players of the season.
The Giants better.
Four turnovers and the Patriots just, uh, I didn't score defensive turnover, but, uh, I'm still I mean, it was, uh there's 14 7 for the hell of it.
And actually, 14.
14 no, fourth quarter was 2114 so definitely made it close.
And then, uh, uh, there was a blocked kick.
It was returned for a fumble.
Uh, that the patriots scored and then, yeah, fumble returned.
I'm not a blocking my mistake.
It was a fumble.
So some fumbled in yet returned it, so yeah. Yeah.
Patriots defense did great big issue here.
News wise was Josh scored and left the game with an injury.
Um, we'll see on on his status in this place.
Edelmann saw 15 targets.
Guess is expected. Got 100 yard game.
Second most targets was James White with nine caught all of them from me.
Uh, didn't run much.
It was a big song.
Michelle Game 22 carries, 86 yards.
Caught two or three targets for 27 yards.
Brandon Bolden about the Russian touchdown on the giant side.
Daniel Jones, 1 61 for one touchdown.
Actually, yeah, Brady didn't throw a touchdown passes through an interstellar reception.
Still 354 yards, So Jones got the only a passing touchdown of the game.
Golden Tate caught it.
Six or nine targets 102 yards.
Only a player over 32 receiving yards for the Giants was lot 100 stuff, Uh, gold.
It's always been a yak monster, so that's gonna be a great weapon for them.
We'll see how long haven't it does look like Darius Leighton.
It's gonna be kind of the number two guy you got eight targets on.
Also, get look for Josh Gordon and see how that's gonna change.
Play bigger roles for Jacoby Meyers Gonna roll? Is that ski? Maybe more tight end stuff with Ryan is oh, looking forward.
Next we had the London game.
Carolina Panthers visited your estimate.
Not really sure that, you know, you know, the guy says at campus, Yes, Tampa was technically the home team but lost the home game because they're in London.
Another great performance.
30 24 32 to 27 yards, two touchdowns.
Christian McCaffrey ran 22 times were only 31 yards.
Really not efficient Day.
Got a touchdown, though.
And, again, the Bucks have been greater showing on the run all day.
McCaffrey scored two touchdowns, which saved just fantasy performance, but he in 55 yards.
Scream scrimmage total.
That's really low for McAfee.
Still caught for receptions.
So again, PPR You would have a pretty great game with him.
Deejay more, lead the team and targets. 10.
Caught seven of them for 72 yards.
Critics. Samuel six e.
Therefore of six story for 70 yards and a touchdown.
Greg Olsen after Alina Goose egg guards on four catches.
It's a pretty good there.
He's better than the zero right on the Bucks side.
Apparently, this is the first time once it does it.
But he threw five interceptions.
They were dubbed big early, so I ended up throwing the ball 54 times, whereas they only ran it 14 times.
Leading rusher was Peyton Barber with 28 yards, but Ronald Jones got the rushing touchdown and Dario Gulalai also got a Russian test because instantly through the one touchdown pass just came in great one of his targets 47 yards or to his four targets.
47 year and still half.
Chris Gardner, 12 targets, 10 catches, 100 51 yards leading receiver.
Not the leading target is Mike Evans.
Only managed to catch nine of them 96 yards and catch rate.
It's always been he's never been at the best catcher in the league.
Has always had a human.
You don't 17 targets.
Couldn't get 200 yards.
That's, uh, concerning there.
But, uh, has been the greatest even preference withdraw.
Edwin's been crazy.
I know a lot of people have him ranked higher rest of season than Evans Godwin.
Carefully blame them.
God has been most more productive in all, but that one game, where Evans got three touchdowns to a monster performance toe produce Chris Goblin on Evans parts So, uh, definitely feel like both were starting both worth hanging on to Big Guy.
Godwin does seem like he's gonna finish the years of wide receiver one.
I know he is right now.
So see how the year season continues on.
We'll see if Cam Newton gets back.
Karl Allen has been pretty good.
Definitely need him.
He needs to your Austrian Super Flex leagues and, you know, you start trusting him now.
I wasn't sure about this.
London games are always weird, but yet seen with Panthers, there's always seem like one team is ready to come and played in the other.
You gotta get up early because it almost seems like that game is a lot of times over early.
I know the Titans Chargers game a couple years ago is one of the more exciting ones were actually came down to the game at the end.
Um, yeah, let's move on to the rest of the Sunday game.
So we've got the Seahawks and grounds This was actually quite entertained.
Game uh, socks 1 32 28 I did it on the strength of two Russian vessel Wilson touchdowns, uh, through the air and one on the ground.
So Lance Gifford Wilson again.
Chris Carson, 24 carries, 124 yards and a touchdown, four receptions on four targets for 35 yards.
Um, precise Metcalf and lock it all got carries, you know, kind of combined for just over 10 yards.
It was really all Chris Carson, uh, leading target.
There were three d k.
Metcalf, Tyler Lockett, drawn brown, all of five targets.
Uh, most yards out of that was walking.
Caught on fire for 75 yards.
David Moore got four targets.
Will display left with an injury.
I know the initial indications.
So you tore his Achilles.
He's done for the year.
It means obviously bigger role for Luke Wilson.
But then also, some other tight ends you got playing that game include, uh, Jacob Hollister.
Look, Wilson played 67% of the snaps.
Hollister accept 35 after just the injury.
So looks like Luke Wilson, who's had a relationship with Wilson before he was with Wilson, was on those 20 teams.
And when they didn't really use the tight end too often pre Jimmy Graham.
Luke Wilson kind of was their tight end.
So maybe look for them and he's been looking into receivers a lot.
Um, for that kind of be a bigger thing just does that long term.
Luke Wilson may be worth picking up on the Brown side. Banking threw three interceptions.
A lot of times they weren't his fault.
It was receivers tipping, running wrong routes, UH, to 49 1 passing touchdown when rushing touchdown, which that salvaged fancied a Nick trouble. A huge day.
This is a ground game for both teams.
Two touchdowns for him.
Six targets, five reception.
17 yards was Beckham, who led the team in targets 11 about six of them for 101 yards.
Jones caught the touchdown.
Those and he led the tight ends and snap.
So it happens. A joke.
Who now he's been a team for a couple weeks of dusting like SEALs.
Jones is the guy there for the rest of season.
That tight end for the Browns, Cardinals or 34 Falcons 33 Cardinals actually a better record down the Falcons, their second in the year, while the Malcolm's fault one and five, uh, you looking like another nightmare Start for them.
Something happened last year.
Matt Ryan threw four touchdown passes to Davante.
Freeman played him happy one toe.
Austin Hooper, who led the team in receiving yards and type team leading receptions, caught all the targets 117 yards and a touchdown.
The other touchdown went to Calvin Ridley.
Four catches, four yards.
Julio Jones let the team and targets with nine caught eight of them for 100 8 yards.
Um, good performance.
They're going in.
The Los Freeman got 19 carries.
Hell, Smith got three, so it does seem like they found something with Freeman.
Uh, get started every game, he said.
Regular contributor for fantasy teams that, uh on the Cardinal side kind of.
Murray threw three touchdown passes and 32 yards on the ground, leaving almost the leading rusher for the Cardinals.
David Johnson, Chase Evans.
Both about 34 yards.
Um, David Johnson got the rushing touchdown and the receiving touchdown.
Evans caught a receiving touchdown to Ah uh David Johnson tied for the team leading targets with eight, along with Larry Fitzgerald, who caught six them for 69 yards to lead the team in that regard, but only by one yard to marry.
Bird barely played but caught two targets for 60 yards.
Maxx. Williams caught the other touchdown.
A tight end and it does seem like he's out playing Charles Clay.
Uh, you know, three targets that place too.
34 yards to Clay's eight and touchdown play.
Has played more snaps as well, 58% of 45.
So they are starting to the tight ends a little more.
It was 25 16 Week one and it kind of transition to it.
More on the one last couple games.
Maybe it's you look for cardinals to do that more often for the Falcons in a closed loss.
So you think they probably see themselves a successful.
But I think Freeman's gonna get continue to be more playing.
You know, Smith may start to lose value here.
I thought he made you.
I was in the case.
The Broncos shut out.
The Titans 60 know both teams are now 24 on the Titans side.
Mariana, I didn't want to scare.
I don't know that I don't know that it was injured related.
I think Mario got pulled for Tannehill.
Neither threw a touchdown pass, obviously, because scored zero points.
Um, so neither consequence.
But this is, uh I don't know, we'll find out who's gonna be the week.
Week seven Starter.
I don't know that it really changes much for the receivers because for years Mario to play, I don't know that tangles better.
So this is gonna be a tough situation for receivers.
I mean, Derrick Henry, you suffer to 15 carries, 28 yards touchdowns.
Many bad game to them, huh? Adam Humphreys led the team in receptions with six or 47 yards.
That's a great stat line.
Otherwise, the Bronco aside, Um, yes, the big thing for mean.
Flaco didn't protest.
Help pass, either.
But a rushing touchdown by Phillip Lindsay is all that we had for score wise and then, uh, reveal goals.
Think, um, even though Freeman out snapped, Lindsay Lindsay out, carried him outgained of almost double.
That doubled his production.
Uh, although Freeman figured Maurin prominent passing game called 55 targets 42 yards, which is more than his rushing yards.
Uh, court in Sutton was the leading target receiver.
Sanders only call it the one.
Your passport is your yards, but Sutton for catches 76 yards.
Any targets? Not a great percentage in that regard.
It's consuming great offensive game.
And if we kind of saw this kind with this came to the Jaguars, who 6 13 6 to the same since, improved to 51 23 on the same side, Bridgewater threw one touchdown pass between 40 yards.
Receiving that touchdown went to Jared Cook, who scored for a second game.
In a world that all three targets for 37 yards.
The target was Michael Thomas, with 12 of them for 89 yards.
The table is Murray actually outgained often tomorrow, 44 yards rushing to 31 on tomorrow, 11 carries.
Both had 35 receiving yards.
Murray did it on three targets and turned it on eight.
So, uh, more efficient game for Octavius Marie.
In this case, Jaguar side Minshew finally came out Earth in protest on past one interception.
Leonard Fournette was the weapon today, 72 yards on the ground, 46 yards through the air and second on the team in first on team receptions, second targets and yards.
Both categories were not deejay.
Dave Dede Westbrook, eight targets, three receptions, 53 yards.
Shark, though not just behind seven receptions to be catches 43 yards all around, a struggle for both offenses, really.
But once again, Michael Thomas does his thing and Jared Cook kind of looking like the maybe the Red Zone weapon.
Now, I don't know how much that lasts.
You can sell it him high on this production.
If you have him have been a legal remedy that try to do that.
I know it's pretty smartly may be made to see right through that.
He forced me to keep Jared Cook, so we've got the Chiefs and Texans are very exciting Game.
Texans 1 31 24 both teams are not foreign to.
This could mean big things for receding and potential.
First round byes could be decided by this game, so this is a big deal.
Shawn Watson threw two interceptions, but he got the touchdown pass to rushing touchdowns, a pretty brilliant Tennessee day for him.
The touchdown went to Duke Johnson screen pass for reception.
Um, the receiver in this game the Texans was.
Darren fell 69 yards on six catches.
DeAndre Hawkins let the team and targets and receptions told for nine but only 55 yards.
Carlos Hyde at a big data.
26 carries, 116 yards and a touchdown.
The Chiefs seem like they're exploitable on the ground, and the Texans definitely have their way in that regard.
Well, Fuller after monster performance on 44 yards takeaway here is the Texans are starting to use the tight end worn out with Kenny Stills out.
It's not so much more Kiki duty, but, uh, both Darren Fells and Jordan takings out, snapped him.
I could barely saw 50% of snaps.
So, uh, looking the tight end starting to have a bigger part of the Texans offense and the chief side.
Mahomes threw three touchdown passes, but its first interception of the year still want to be in the running game since his ankle injury.
Now, with Shawn McCord lead the way on the ground with 44 yards rushing, Damian Williams caught receiving touchdown, but only on two touches. One target.
If you caught for a touchdown and one carry for six yards or he really was playing, time diminishes.
This was a patmore past happy approach and then, more again, control.
The clock gives the chief seems to be the blueprint, but time kill in his return caught two touchdown passes.
The Patina targets receptions, receiving yards.
So only 80 yards in two touchdowns.
You figure bigger, but he only played.
I think about 50% snap, so I think they're trying to ease him in. But you look good.
Travis Kelsey. Six.
Targets for catching TR is a little disappointing.
Darryl Williams, who's more of the bruiser, but he caught one pass pass for 52 yards, got him to Marcus Robinson, even though he led the receivers and snaps software target zero catches later.
I'll be disappointed. A lot of people I know. I certainly was.
Washington Miami? Yeah, this game washing 1 17 16 Uh, Fitzpatrick replaced Rosen and actually almost led them to victory, although instead of kicking the point after an exciting to overtime, they chose to go for two.
I can't necessarily blame Flora's the way this season is going.
Why, just you know, I want my team to go for the win.
I guy like that mentality.
It's also protecting yourself and maybe, well, it's easier to lose this way.
That is, in fact, what their plan is.
Adrian Peterson had quite the day on the ground.
23 carries, 100 18 yards, and it didn't start out great.
But it usually never does for Peterson this as the game goes on.
Terry McLaurin, though, caught both of case kingdoms.
Touchdown passes caught over half his receiving yards.
Seven targets for cash, 100 yards, two touchdowns.
Case Keenum went 2013 for 2500.
600 of those yards went to court.
He's very clearly the top receiver on the team, and probably the only one.
Austrian Chris Thompson didn't figure as much.
But again, this kind of felt like the gamekeeper Peterson.
So I still think top since maybe the next he Peter's in record of all.
You owe me Washing Clears worth having Kenyon Drake got 70 yards on the ground.
Mark Walton also had over 70 yards, but it was camouflaged with the touchdown.
So little bit of cannibalizing going on there for money back production.
No one really had a monster game.
The two touchdowns or sorry.
That one touchdown was caught by Devante Parker about 20 yards.
In that game, Mycoskie led the team and targets seven only caught 3 51 yards.
Kenyan drink was actually team's leading a reception grabber.
Eagles and Vikings Vikings 1 30 20 Go to foreign.
Two of the Eagles are at three and three.
Last game. Washington.
There everyone went into cold winter.
Still zero Carson Wentz thatyou touchdown passes.
One reception to 306 yards.
Jordan Howard Sanders with big production.
EA six yards and one touch down through the air.
Only six yards on the ground.
Alshon. Jeffrey caught a touchdown pass.
12 targets to you.
10 catches, 76 yards.
Hurts nine targets, but only four catches.
Bit of a distant 20 performance.
They're considering the target share.
Not so much production. Got a touchdown.
The 41 yards Alexander Madison actually gained 14.
Big game for Madison here.
Well, they were a big forbidden, I guess.
The, uh, just massive more rest.
That that he got test.
I mean, a little bit wasn't best average Stefan Diggs.
Seven receptions, 167 yards and three touchdowns.
Seems like that that issue's been resolved.
The team in Target's next was Adam feeling six catches, seven yards and a touchdown.
Seems like it's always gonna be through those two cousins.
2029 4 touchdowns.
Pretty great game for him.
It's back in the good graces and his team again looking like a playoff team and the defense.
Maybe it's a real contender again.
Reiterate the Packers.
This is gonna be a tough division to win.
And yet, somehow, while the Packers have done, I almost wonder if they're in line more Thio clinch the Wild.
They're probably clinch a playoff score before the divisions decided, which last week.
This is this Lions Game two packages last one in the division until week 15.
So we'll see how that goes.
Uh, Cowboys lost to the Jets, and I know the Jets were up big for a while, but 24 22 New York.
Where Dax bringing them close.
No touchdowns here.
Sick of touchdown, 105 yards.
47 receiving yards.
A great game for him.
Fantasy wise Leading receiver in terms of receiving yards for the Cowboys was Tavon Austin, with Mark Cooper getting hurt barely.
Plane eso monitor that, uh, wooden in Gallipoli.
Jason Witten, that is.
Bull had seven targets within about five of them for 57 yards.
Gallop for them for 48 yards.
Cedric Wilson with the rental car.
Belle caught six passes.
Five passes 46 years On the debt side.
Sam Darnold, making his return.
Tosses two touchdown passes, 338 yards, one interception.
Libyan Bell Ram Touchdown in 14 carries.
50 yards, which isn't great average.
But there is a touchdown there.
Robbie Anderson is back to life targets.
Five catches under 25 yards and a touchdown Given went to tight end Ryan Griffin.
Jamison Crowder got 90 yards on six catches, and he didn't was about a three.
Story got 90 yards earlier this season on 13 catches, so that's nice to see that average go up.
So get nine targets us again.
Look for Cooper going forward to see what the health situation is him in college and monitored for the Jets.
Anderson and Crowder back to being playable, Uh, looking at the 40 Niners Rams foreigners be from 27 the 40 Niners are five.
No longer Patriots.
Still the only undefeated team in the league.
Garoppolo didn't throw a touchdown pass, the little disappointing fancy wise for him.
He did run a touchdown in, though.
That doesn't happen too often.
Five rushing attempts, maybe a career high, UH, did throw the interceptions.
Not the greatest dancer performance.
Definitely saved by the touchdown to win 43 yards.
Great Tevin Coleman, 25 yards and the Russian touchdown map reader.
36 yards, 27 receiving but no touchdown, so definitely seemed like Coleman was the guy.
More, uh, I think that's a year team to look for the red Zone report.
By that, I write to see who's getting those red zone carry.
Then it was Jeffrey Wilson before, but we'll see.
How about that was split if Coleman's touchdown was earned because of Red zone carries.
George kill all the targets 100 yards after entering the game.
So anyone who contract the risk of him being a later game and it had faith in him River rewarded and perform better than a lot of tight ends this week would be surprised if he's a Titan one based on the 100 yards.
Even without a score, Uh, people Samuel.
Five catches time targets.
Three catches, 18 yards.
Dante Pettus also three catches.
The 45 yard seems like he's back in the good graces and the second on the team and Target.
So look for a pedestal back and starting lineups. Fantasy wise.
Jared got no touchdowns again.
13 for 24 2078 yards.
Um, this team seem like a lot of disarray.
The rushing touchdown went to Robert Woods was only scored the game pretty early.
Oh, you didn't catch a single one of his four targets.
The leading receiver in that game was Tyler could be 25 yards on three catches on three targets.
Super Couple led the team in targets with six, but only managed 17 yards.
Kind of Police is a break up tight end.
Only two catches, nine yards running on the ground.
Malcolm Brown 11 carries, 40 yards.
Darryl Henderson six carries, 39 yards.
You have the Great uh, Brown got more.
Carrie's probably see he gets the bigger role If girlie continues to miss time.
Um, Bengals and ravens.
Ravens won 23 17.
They're up big, so it was a heavy game for them.
Lamar Jackson had 19 times. Ingram 13.
Uh, Gus Edwards got six runs.
Just feel about five runs.
That leaves that well.
They were through 33 times in the Ran It's, um, one brain do math.
Uh, you have 43 times.
So, yeah, they definitely much fun Have your approach.
Lamar Jackson Marking them both rushing touchdowns.
Mark Andrews led the team in receptions, yards once again, nine yards.
The next highest was Miles Boykin, a 28.
It almost seems like Andrews is really the only receiver you can trust.
A week out with the Ravens.
Meanwhile, uh, don't also know touchdown houses here.
And he did run a touchdown, spending about 40 Pakistani in touchdowns.
Um, but Lamar Jackson 152 yards on the ground to make up that difference? Uh, yeah, augmented with 91 yards on 12 targets.
Let the team in that regard.
Seven targets, but only three catches and 10 yards disappointing There.
Nixon on Lee 10 yards on eight carries.
29 yards receiving, which gives us some Something, at least, was nothing, but he's been incredibly disappointing this year.
It's gonna be tough to start starting him in one last game Sunday night, asshole.
Just under the clock here for the money in a football game.
UH, Steelers win with, uh, Devon Colleges, 24 17 both them on.
The Chargers are tuned for another engine.
Hodges One touchdown pass, one reception only.
132 yards is a run heavy game, though many Snell actually led the team of divers in rushing yards, 75 on 17 carries.
Connor, only 41 of 16 carries but got the touchdown and also got a receiving touchdown.
Seem like Connor they were using more is a receiver.
He led the team and targets receptions, receiving yards, seven targets, seven catches, 78 yards.
So their game plan.
If there it's gonna be heavy. Connor.
I think he certainly better looking prospect than Vixen Now, even though both teams seem to be struggling due to Smith Schuster.
One calf, seven yards.
It seems like his values completely evaporated with all these quarterback changes on the Charger side.
Rivers threw two touchdown passes, also doing two interceptions with 20 yards.
Too bad, Melvin Gordon only 18 yards.
Ecklie fourteen's was tough to gain ground on the ground.
Both coffee passes, but Gordon actually more yards.
Hunter Henry in his return.
100 yards on eight catches, nine targets, two touchdowns.
Mike Williams got 10 targets, but finally five catches, 72 yards.
Keenan Allen Only two receptions.
Kind of disappointing feel like that's going to correct itself in Alan's going back. But Manhunter.
Henry, If you wasn't picked up and he's out there, you know it's gonna be a race to go get him anyway.
Uh, Monday Night Football is about to kick off.
So once again, my name is Kyle Son, who? Managing editor for full press coverage Packers and full press coverage Fantasy, uh, has always check up statement games, and we should have gone into fantasy cares Next time you'll see me here is to do my weekly CFL GFS stream on Wednesday.
So enjoy my foot quality one
