Hey, guys, this is for more filled.
So I did do an earlier take on the Cowboys, but I'm sad.
I'm gonna redo it all.
There's a lot more Wanna go over eso understand? Start from scratch, and we're gonna go over everything now.
Um, So right now, cowboys are three and three, we are tied for number one, an NFC East.
Although right now you could make the argument.
The Eagles ares probably number one concerning the loss to the Jets.
Won four team now went in for, um, yeah, this was just a really bad game.
And there, this is the biggest.
Um, uh, we call the biggest story going around the NFL going around fancy football.
Anything football related.
This was the biggest shocker.
Um, and as a cowboy fan, it's frustrating.
Especially when you see all the shit talking.
Um, especially from you will stands, you know? Yeah, it's a pretty bad loss, and I'm not gonna lie.
I'm not gonna sugarcoat how the supporting and how this shouldn't have happened, but, um, same time.
A lot of those, uh, a lot of those fans don't realize that their team also lost.
Eagles are also three and three, and they also lost.
But then again, like I said, this was probably, um, the worst loss between it between the Eagles and the Cowboys.
Um, but going into it.
So going to the game.
By halftime, it was 6 to 21.
It was not good.
That's not good. Those are not good numbers.
And this has been the narrative now for the past three games, where we We're 1/3 quarter team now, apparently, uh, where that's how we do it last last year.
Yet last week, let me just pull up the score and see what it waas against packers because it was atrocious.
A cz Well, um, effect.
It was a bigger margin than this game, but by the halftime, it was already 21 are, uh, 17 to by halftime, so that was pretty bad.
Um, I guess it's not as bad technically is a ce faras margin goes, but ah, still, that's That's not good.
Um, this this has been embarrassing.
This has been just God awful.
Um, so, going into it.
They were also, um, three and 21.
So the making worse? Um, we went down on fourth down in the red zone.
When we didn't need to, we could have a reception for a vehicle.
And not only that, our kicker also missed a field goal.
He was three out of four.
So if then again, this game isn't pretty.
Regardless, it's still, you know, be a hit on the Cowboys, regardless, because we played poorly all around.
But if we made the field goal and we went for the few girl in the red zone and then go for fourth down, we probably would have been in the lead.
And, um, I don't know how well Sam Darnold does on comeback drives.
If we were take the lead then, but we would have definitely been in a better position to win the game.
Uh, that being said, our defense was atrocious.
So even if we were to take the lead, uh, it did not look good.
But we'll get to that later.
Um, so drinking the numbers to put in a fancy perspective, Elliot was the only player who went over 100 years.
Besides Jane are Dak Prescott is strolling? Um, that's that's about it.
That's been the only other player from the Cowboys this week, which is pretty sad.
Uh, Jason Witten dropped a few balls.
Who's uncharacteristic of Jason? Jason Wynn is usually a reliable guy, despite the age and despite the year break he had, he's still reliable.
By, UM, Michael Gallop dropped balls as well.
The best receiver on the day was Tavon Austin.
Five catches for 64 yards.
So that's just been the offense.
We're also missing um, Randall Cobb, missing two of art offensive lineman Lily Collins and Tyrone Smith, and also Mark Cooper went out early.
Some, I think, was a bruised something, but it put him out for the rest of the game.
Uh, he's gonna be on watch for this coming week, and he'll obviously be on some sort of injury report, and I think you'll be okay.
But the problem is a Marquis Cooper does make a difference now.
I will eventually get to an article once we have.
Hopefully after we be if we beat the Eagles after our talk about why I think still, even after this loss, Dak Prescott is still the most valuable, um, player on the Cowboys.
This forest fancy value goes, not even seek each other anymore.
And the reason I say that, uh, Mark Cooper still makes a difference even after saying that is you look at his impact on the team.
Um, even like until last year, Mark Cooper came in mid season and he actually saved a capitalist season.
He was a threat for an option for Dr Prescott.
Same thing for this game.
Mari Cooper wasn't available, so we actually lost to the Jets.
If Mark Cooper was in the game, we might have actually had a chance.
I mean, considering that the plays are running, they were, you know, going over 10 yards.
We're passing over 10 years.
We were doing a concert play calling.
We weren't passing within a five yard margin.
We were just, you know, let's just see how far we get another bottle to see if one of our receivers can catch.
It was, you know, then it's risky.
You know, you gain nothing, because if you know, another receiver says, because as Mark Cooper and when you throw the ball and incomplete pass well, you just kind of kill the mojo.
You kind of kill it for that drive.
Almost so you want to do is you always wanna, like, gain something you always wanna have, like, some sort of yardage to gain every drive and every play you want to try to, at least.
And that's where we fell.
Flat is we just couldn't get a momentum going because of that.
Um, not only that Deck Prescott.
Honestly, he's been taking hits.
He was taking a lot of hits and offensive like do not help him.
Which is very uncharacteristic for the Cowboys.
Um, the play calling was dross is already said that.
Ah, yeah, it was It was just bad.
We're running the ball on three and 11 during 11.
Like, you know, I understand.
Kill more zoom. And I I like all mortal.
I think in the future, you know, in the next coming games, I think you're gonna see more polished version of his playbook.
You Seymour what we saw the beginning of the season.
So, uh, there's there's still some growing pains.
Still some room to go.
A lot of stuff that we did, but there is still a lot of room to grow.
I'm to be optimistic about this.
I'm going to be optimistic, and I'll explain that later once we get through all this stuff.
Eso going to the defense? We only allowed to say sacks of Sam Darnold, uh Keith Richards, the ex coach from the Seahawks who was also the coach for the Legion of Boom back in the 2014 13.
Uh, there's some blame to go around him and Rob Marinelli.
We should never had the Jets score.
Honestly, they didn't run over us.
They actually scored the second biggest or second longest play in Jets franchise history.
Um, that's unacceptable.
That's I still like Keith Richards.
I I will say the defense has been supporting, and I said that even in week one, how I noticed or not as dominant as we thought they would be, Uh, so we'll see going forward if they can change.
And again, I'll explain all of this and know all come together later.
But as far as Rob Marinelli and Keith Richards, I will give it a few more weeks.
I still like them.
There's still a lot to like about them.
I am not gonna give up on him.
I'm not just yet.
I would actually give it more abroad, Marinelli More than with Keith Richards.
But, um, I'm we're going to give it some time.
It's only three losses now.
Back to back, but only three losses.
Uh, we still got the rest of season to go.
So hang in there.
I'll explain all this again.
Um, we have a lot of talent on this team.
Um, so I know I've heard the argument saying that we cause because we're fans, that we ought America.
We just think highly of her team and our players.
Like I know one person gave the example of, um, the Falcons like there's actually love the Falcons players, even like from the Cowboys, are really good Falcons players there the again.
But they just have a consistent.
So you could make the same argument here that even though we may think that we have this this roster that we don't Well, I still think we still have a really good roster and these air, this is gonna be a bump in the road.
It's a big bump.
They'll get wrong.
But it's gonna be a bump in the road when it comes to the defense's players.
There was bad play calling and bad reads on the defense that also for players.
I mean, there wasn't a whole lot of heart to this game.
I think it was a lot of really bad preparation.
I think they were looking to the Jets as if Luke Fault was still playing.
And I've said this before.
Actually, I was talking about it before the game started, and I think I wrote an article saying that, um, Sam Darnold, you know, he's not a bad quarterback and, you know, I didn't say I would be surprised for safe.
He won, But I put the possibility out there that yeah, he could actually do something because the Cowboys haven't seen Sam Donaldson are seeing a film on Sandra with season since.
Excuse me, weak one.
So, uh, same Donald's actually really good quarterback towards in the season.
He actually did really well, and I will give same dawn, the credit.
They definitely outplayed us and we it was just poor preparation and on both offense and defense.
So, uh, going into, um, the run and going back to offense, what they do want to make a note of that.
Um, I've heard people who say that we used to run as a crutch, and to the extent that's that's not wrong.
And that could be the explanation for, um why we ran on three and 11.
And why Ezekiel it was still really get 100 yard over 100 yards.
And we were struggling the passing until, you know, by the end, we had to come back.
Uh, I could see that.
And, you know, it's a valid point.
I mean, we we rely on the run, and teams are gonna catch on to that.
And, you know, if they caught him, too, on everything, um, overall.
But we gotta be careful about that kind of stuff.
Going forward obviously will have a much more Polynice offense under killing more, but, uh, yeah, uh, Dac coming into deck.
Uh, he threw 40 passes.
20 of them were complete.
Twitter, 77 yards had 11 yards rushing in one rushing. Touchdown.
Uh, so doctors for interception.
Thank God his number's still went over 200 yards.
But you know what we've seen worse this season.
I think the Saints game was actually worse.
Um, it really is bad.
So, you know, I wouldn't worry about Dax value.
And I still think Dak Prescott is probably one of your one of the most valuable players in the Cowboys right now.
Um, in he has been the key to actually winning and Super Bowls, and you could make the unicycle.
That's Super Bowls.
I'm getting ahead of myself.
Uh, playoff appearances.
Um, you know, you could make the same case for Elliot.
You know, every time Elliot's in and he's he's used a lot more.
We have better games, and we make it can correlate to or playoff appearances.
But you could make the same for Doc Prescott.
Even with that Prescott Elliot last season, we still struggled in the first half of the season until Mark Cooper came in, and I think that's where Dex, you know, that's the biggest editor Deck and also Murray.
But more so for Deck because even though if it's a designed passing play, he's also the one calling the audibles.
So that's why, and he has shown a lot of success from that, especially the 1st 3 games of the season and last season and the seasons before that.
Maybe not 2017 but definitely 2016.
Even as a rookie, he was taking charge.
But that's where I'm not gonna be worried about that. Prescott.
I don't think he stressed.
I take him over.
Carson Wentz, honestly, And I'm not saying that because I'm a, you know, diehard Cowboys fan.
It's the truth, because Carson Wentz is, you know, I hate them.
I say this, but he's injury prone.
Don't give him a Carson wants is a great quarterback.
The deck Prescott is, uh, is Maur.
I put it in the long run.
In long term, you probably want that Prescott.
So especially this season, he's actually putting up really good numbers.
Despite this loss in the Saints game, he put really good numbers.
And even last week, three interceptions.
He still was like over.
I think he still went over his projected points, even with three interceptions, so that it tells you something.
So going into why, I think not to worry, Andi also get into the whole Jason Garrett thing because that's big news.
Look, if the Cowboys were to be exposed and if we had to like have, ah, humble moment and we had to you know, take a loss.
I hate to say that it does look bad, regardless, but this is the perfect.
This is the perfect time to do it.
And what Not? Because next week we play the Eagles Eagles and also came out from the loss, but and I will say right now her Doug Mar.
Aah! Uh, what's his name? Eagles coach already forgot his name.
Uh, Doug Peterson.
That's what it was.
Uh, he's already got got.
That's why I got that confidence that he's going to Dallas and he's gonna I think he's gonna win this game.
He's got that confidence.
A ce faras Jason Garrett.
You don't really see that with Jason Garrett.
Even on winning seasons, you kind of see the same Jason Garrett on and off the field on the sidelines.
Winner lives, um, but saying that after losing to one of the worst teams now the third worst team, although that might change like I said, Sam Donaldson really good quarterback.
Um, you know, they might underestimate us.
Like I said, there's a lot of telling the seam and the Saints, the Green Bay Packers and the Jets.
They expose us and our weakest areas and where we're lacking.
I will also say injuries is what killed us.
Like I said before, we got to offensive linemen out.
We have, um, Murray Cooper out.
Randall Cobb out.
So we were only down a gallop and got well, Gallop was disappointing.
It was Jason Witten with the drop passes.
Um, you know, because this is still a talented roster and I don't take anything I don't I don't rank Allah, Penny.
I won't drop gallop in rankings.
Still, it would have to be a consistent thing, and it sucks.
That gallop has only played how many games, And I think, Ooh, I forgot how many games he's played already so far because he was out, he was out with the injury.
So, you know, it's this is what's his worst game.
Even last weekend's the package.
She had a good game.
So, um, I'm not going to drop him or I'm not gonna And Stars rankings go.
That is I'm not gonna drop a fantasy that the poor would be really bad.
Um, but as far as going forward and why I still think this is just a bump in the road.
Um, like I said that they're gonna underestimate us, and we have to go back and look through the film, which we are, and hopefully we can fix it.
And hopefully we don't just keep doing the same thing we're doing and kill more kind of learns and takes us as a learning experience.
As bad as this loss was, um, and we got, we got to go out and we got a win.
And if we don't win against the Eagles, you know I don't see us having a winning season or making a buy off, said.
I don't, uh it's and it's the reason why I say that is because this is the division game and the next week, given by If I was a coach and if I was the players, I would put everything on the line for this game.
Knowing that there's a by next week, I mean, it makes sense.
You just You just gotta win this game.
You have to, um and even if we lose this game, there's still a chance that we could still make it all the way to the playoffs.
But then the problem becomes you have to win out and we still gonna play the bills, which there are.
There are a tough team.
Um, we still gotta play the patriots.
Uh, let me just pull the cowboy schedule really quick.
We gotta play the Eagles.
The Johnston got the same chance that we played in week one.
Vikings, uh, bill's bears that, you know, that's a toss up.
Um, the rands air.
Still good team, Uh, the evils together than redskins up.
That's the only easy, easy team.
Um, that looks like we can win.
That's that's about it.
You know, all these other Andrea be tough matchups.
And if you I think that we're gonna be we're gonna win all those games.
I don't think so.
So this is why this game is important.
It's a statement game.
It really is if we can win against the Eagles, and maybe I could see us winning out still, and we're winning most of these games.
But this this this has to be where we stand.
Um, and going into all that, it's now who is to blame for this and the biggest.
The biggest cooperate that people like to call it is Jason Garrett and I personally want leggy Singer and I do like Jason Garrett.
Do I think he's the best coach, you know? Do I think he's the best play caller? No.
That's why Callum or is taking over, but and do I think that he has the best? Um, I put it what I mean, but he's not the best coach.
I also mean that he doesn't rally his players like you Could.
You see it like he doesn't do well when it comes to that.
I mean, there's there's no emotion.
It's just kind of like illustrates the job.
You can have that mentality for leadership rules.
But for football, two different.
That's a different story.
Um, and you see, you see it all the time when we lose or when we win.
It's the same thing. He's always clapping.
He's trying to get players high fives like as you saw, um, this game.
You try to get players high fives and they weren't having they were touching his hand.
Um, they're tired or what? I'm not gonna go too much into that of because I mean, it's really not worth going into, but yeah, it's just his his mentality as faras.
Being a coach, I don't think is the best, obviously, but I still like the guy.
I still like his offensive scheme.
He has drafted some of the best players.
I personally think not only in Cowboys history, but any NFL.
You put a lot of these other players off somebody start players.
We haven't other teams in their prime.
Uh, they'll be different story as far as these players, but because they're on the Cowboys and because of her seasons, we have.
It's kind of then that, you know, look nearly as a CZ much they should or whatever it may be.
But I still like Jason here, and I don't blame this on him.
Here's some blame to go around everybody, but I do not think he's the biggest corporate.
It's it's a It's a mixture of everybody.
It's also a history.
Um, you know, you can go back through through the seasons and how we got to this point some, A lot of that could be for the good.
But when you look at this game like this, it could just be for the bad and it's right now it's a toss up It's unknown.
Um, who, if if what we have done to lead up to this season is right, so we don't know, Um, also, nothing will do when I had eyes.
He does technically have a winning record, not the prettiest.
It's barely winning, but he does have a winning record.
Um, so there is that I'm and a lot of it comes from 18 8 seasons in us than having really good seasons very few times.
Will I say that we've had really bad seasons.
I think 2015 was the last really bad season as well as 2017 u ca kn you can argue.
I think we didn't do.
We didn't do so hot.
I know to make the playoffs.
But, um, yeah, I don't blame it all on Jason Garrett and the one person that do you want to highlight and there's a lot of like about him.
Um, and then there's a lot of hate about him, and that is, um uh, no, no, no, no, no, no.
So it's, uh, it's that's Jerry Jones that I don't I don't I don't like a lot of stuff that Jerry Jones has done and how he treats his team.
There's there's some stuff that I like, that he does for the team, how he treats team.
But at the same time, he's an owner and there's a fine line.
And you saw a lot of that happened when Dez Bryant was in on how he treated deads and how he treated some of the players and what not? And it was like, Come on, man, if there's you do that to a player and that, you know, like I said, there's a perfect example and he gets on this high horse and he thinks he's a shit and you know, he thinks is all worth all this money when his prime is gone and it's because of that mentality is why we've had struggles in certain years.
And while we had ah, um draft certain players and and what not and it's just a continuing thing.
Jerry Jones has a lot of involvement in this offense and in this team that more than you don't more, you may know.
So I will blame a lot of that on Jerry Jones and also the one thing I do want to add to just kind of like hitting on Garrett, Um, every time we're backed into a corner, I noticed this the right time.
We're back in the corner, and it seems that his career is on the liners in jeopardy.
Somehow we turn it around, you know, it's just that inconsistent, like, Oh, well, because I'm in this corner than I have to do something like it doesn't have to get to that point, you know? And it's just been a consistent, consistent thing from Jason Garrett.
You went from eight seasons, then you go into this where we have to do really good because his career is in jeopardy.
And once that season's over, once once that's over.
Then we kind of just get breezy.
You know, we we get, uh, complacent.
And that's what kills us.
So a sw far as is Jason, you're going to get fired.
I don't think so.
Um, I'm Torrente between if I want to see him go or not.
I know it's kind of crazy to say, considering, um, the seasons that we had, but like I said, I don't think he will go.
Um, not because I wanted to stay, but I think Jerry Jones is not going to pull the plug on that.
I don't think so.
Um, what you might see in the future on This is why I think Jason error Jason Wynn's comeback is Jason Wynn's gonna take on some sort of coaching role.
I don't think me head coach, I don't think so.
But you might see him take on.
They had some sort of coaching role and groom into head coach in Rome in the future.
That's kind of been the, um, we call it.
That's been the characteristic of these cowboy coaches.
They've been exploiters, so But as far as firing Jason Garrett, it's kind of like, um, putting up your kid for adoption.
I think that's the best way to put it, because I think Jerry Jones still owe something to Garrett and vice versa.
I think, um, there's that there's that bond.
I think there's something, something like that.
So, uh, then again, I could be wrong.
You know, business is business with Jerry Jones.
He did fire or no fire, but he had a feud with Jimmy Johnson and they played together in college.
Don't you guys know this? They played together in college and Jimmy Johnson one since our Cowboys won Super Bowls and Jerry Jones got on his high horse ing.
Oh, yeah, this is my team.
And he got, you know, really? Then we really get much credit to Jimmy Johnson.
And Jimmy Johnson did not like that, and he made it clear and he said, You know what? If this is your team, you think you did all this? I quit any quit, and we only went to one Super Bowl after that and that was it.
So it's It's hard to tell.
And you know, it's he's going and this is his ninth season.
I think this is the scariest night, so I'm not.
I'm not too sure what's gonna happen.
Everything doesn't is not certain.
Nothing really adds up to this because, you know, he's been on the chopping block before.
Supposedly, and this happened and I don't know, I just I don't see this firing happen until maybe a few more seasons.
And that might suck for a cowboy fans, um, kind of.
I mean, I don't feel about it, but that's just how it is But that's all I got on the Cowboys analysis.
I will explain a lot more about what we need to do for the Eagles.
Uh, probably Friday, baby, I don't know.
I don't know yet, but, yeah, I'm going to get into more of this, um, sport.
Castor, do some of this stuff tomorrow.

And then we're gonna have something to talk about.
What I like to do now is have some sort of controversial topic.
And I think we have something cowboys later last week, and I like to try to mix it up.
But, I mean, this is, um you know, this it is still a good topic.
I think the talk about, um So I hate to do two topics in a row every week, but it might have to be like that this week.
Um and then catch us on Wednesday.
