Oh, what's going on, guys? Anthony here again with another live stream thought.
Today I talked a little bit about some complimentary leaks, and instead of the four main entities that we usually touch on N B A, N F, L A, M, O, B and I Joe, I thought I would give you some some news and thoughts on some of the things that happen in both the Big Three and the new XFL.
Let's start with the Big Three because big news dropped today that the Big Three China tour will be postponed for the time being.
Obviously, most people know what's going on in China and the type of relationship America and China are having right now.
It seems like it's really escalated a lot since the Houston Rockets, she and Daryl Morey made some statements, and then the MBA wanted to retract the statements I felt ever since then it's just progressively gotten worse as time has gone on.
Obviously, things were already bad there in China, with the way things that both our country in their country don't see that in the same lot.
And so it's been a little bit of a struggle, but you know, it's only progressed.
Like I said, we have the thing with South Park, where the Creator's kind of came out with this parody episode, as as a tip, we do and had a little bit of a funny remark apology back there.
But just things like that that are continuing to push back towards what China's doing.
That's kind of, ah, hurting any type relationship with other with other business ventures that maybe other companies are doing that are not associated with.
And so that being said, I think the Big three China tour, it's kind of gotten him a crossfire.
The air's a little bit, and because of that they have announced that it's going to be postponed until 2020 so don't expect it. The rest 2019.
It looks like it's still going to be going on.
This is what they have on their website, and this is kind of what they they said today that they had a Big Three update going on, uh, scheduled for the entire month of November has been postponed, and the guy do was help promoting things in China and help promoting the tour.
This is all he had to stay today, he said.
Announcement are Big three China tour for November 39th in post found parentheses.
You all know why, but checked up.
But check out our new Big Three China license departments that they have pictures of things they've done to update their department with the Big Three memorabilia.
And I guess they upgraded some of their furniture and office space and it'll try nice Anyways, you made it pretty clear that it was postponed.
For those reasons, just side in different.
There's a little bit disappointing, obviously, because most people were in the Big Three community or watch the Big Three.
We're really looking forward to it, getting back and started and getting going a little bit more.
I know the season just ended, but we were really looking forward to seeing some of the calls started play and branching out into the international waters of the big the Big Three that I mean branching out to international waters and really exposing the league and the brand of the Big Three and so just kind of said to the got caught in the middle of it.
But hopefully things will be resolved and the right manner.
I know people kind of shying away from questions, and I get that to understand.
I know then Ivan wants to speak their thoughts tohave.
Some push back towards them, Obviously wish for, You know, people will be able to speak up for social injustice and everything, not only in America but also in China but don't really want to get to the politics of it.
Just wanted to kind of update everybody that will be postponed, but it looks like it will still happen.
Just won't happen any time in 2019.
It'll happen only in 2020 that super unfortunate.
But at least get some Big Three and we'll make sure to talk about on the next episode.
By the way, before we get any further, just want to say I dropped a new episode today.
On the fourth man.
Pot had a short little interview with a guy named Ryan, Mob Gosh, who is from the Four Seasons, and people have heard about that or not, but he was a super cool guess.
He has a lot of knowledge him and discovers that they have a really good show over there.
I think they're dropping on super calypso tomorrow.
Make sure you check out this stuff, but make sure you check out our conversation that we had is probably about 30 minutes or show one of the shorter episodes on the fourth man.
But I had a really good time with that, just talking with him and here in his thoughts and opinions on the Big Three and it's impressions and how it kind of grew on him a little bit.
He wasn't a big believer in the beginning, he says.
Little bit of a spoiler alert, but he wasn't a big believer in the beginning, but it's really grounded him a little bit.
Oh my God, I just get to see, you know, hear his thoughts.
So make sure you guys check that out.
It could be found on anchor Apple podcast Spotify.
I pretty much anywhere.
You listen to any type of podcasts.
If you need more information, I'll be at uh, both of or any of the social media is on Facebook, instagram or Twitter.
It's at fourth man pie for th manpad, and you could buy more information over there.
If you have any questions about it or can't find it just let me know I'd be happy to help you, obviously.
So, yeah, that's kind of what's going on with Big Three.
We were hoping that the China Toward would actually help, you know, men the relationship a little bit or, you know, help with, uh, the people who are fans over there, basketball or in America.
We thought the Big Three tryingto would kind of be a little bit of relief and help out, but we won't get the chance to see because they are postponing it.
As I said, we'll be back in 2020.
They said early, 2020.
So I'm hoping sometime in between January, February, March, April in those 1st 4 early months, the first quarter of the year.
So hopefully we'll see Moving on, I guess.
Oh, Brock, change hats here.
So I got the big three hat and I don't have an XFL happen.
It's spring football hat.
So this is the best I got, uh, trying thio accommodate for the four of the right conversation here.
I've been warned this that in a while, But anyway, so I thought I would just touch on that Fell a little bit.
It's really funny because I told myself once a f folded and went the bump, that I wasn't gonna do anything or associate myself with the XFL.
For those who don't know, I used to run a podcast called the Crown Loyal Podcast with a good friend of mine.
Before they went the bump, it seemed like it was having a little bit of success.
People like to hear our takes on The Atlanta Legends were starting to some player abuse and the experience of media experience with all around.
It's an awesome, awesome thing to d'oh bordello Linda Bunk because of just some issues at the power with its authority.
Then who really? When? Once we gave him control, he was basically just no and for the right reasons and, you know, shut it down.
But you know, there was. There was issues all around.
Not just blame one person.
There were issues all around.
Nonetheless, I was very frustrated with how that went because so much time into it, and invested a lot of my efforts and to put together this part guys and information.
And while I also enjoyed it is a lot of time you put into something, just want to be folded and crushed out and not really get the most of what you were hoping out of it.
So I told myself I wouldn't invest in the XFL what was going on with it.
And here I am, talking about ticks.
I felt its football.
And, you know, football is a sport that I grew up playing and I really enjoyed it.
And I think if they can put a good enough product, are they? You know, they branded and made it the interesting product, at least to this point.
And if I have the players in it that are making it interesting, and I just I can't help myself.
So I I'm just looking forward to kind of the Big three, and we are not the Big three.
That's a felon who's gonna be drafted and what's to come.
But I thought there, so every day this week, releasing maybe 200 players, that's gonna be in the draft, fool, I don't know all the details about how the draft works and everything I know.
There's a tier one quarterbacks or tear one players that they consigned beforehand.
There's gonna be like 70 rounds.
It's 700 players are gonna be selected, so I want to get into those here in a second.
Give me one second momentary pause here.
Okay? I apologize for cutting out my wife at a short little phone call if you need me to pick her up.
Actually, at 7 30 it's clearly 7 28 Eastern time here.
And so I'm late.
And she was winning where I was that, but luckily, she can go somewhere.
I just hang out for a little bit until I get everything.
I want to talk about the XFL.
Like I said, I don't know all the rules about another trying to make it kind of similar to what they're doing in 2001 before it shut down.
I know that they obviously have what, 18 years now? Figure out what they need to do to make this thing successful.
I saw the A before their eyes fold one year before they're producing their products, as he might be a good idea for them the way.
And obviously they're funded very well with benthic man over there being in charge.
Uh, and then all over love being the commissioner there.
What if about this today? But what of Andrew? Look, actually just retired from the Colts just to make a big splash in the XFL.
He's actually one of the Tier one guy's signing, and his dad just wanted to play, wanted him to play in the league.
He's commissioner off, and he would tear that up.
Obviously, I don't think that's the case, but I would just be funny if we just won.
They saw an announcement for Andrew Luck finding the XFL, obviously, that celebrity top competition.
But I kind of just wanted to get my thoughts on on the XFL and just point out some interesting players, at least in my eyes, that I've seen through the 1st 3 days they're gonna release in rosters.
Like I said 200 the draft full names, 200 per day.
So do two more Thursday and Friday.
They rammed up the more prominent names, the amount of prominent names each day, so the first day wasn't as many, and then, obviously, today they had the most.
But it's been pretty interesting.
I don't really know how I started falling again because, you know, when the F is going on.
There was a lot of people who are already getting into it and following the news about the XFL, and I kind of looked into a little bit.
But then I really shot away with that was really frustrated with how everything ended.
I didn't want anything to do with spring football, and I kind of just stumbled on and maybe a week ago or so.
Maybe not a week.
Two weeks ago, maybe I started listening to some podcasting, get some more information on it.
Seems like they're trying to implement some cool rules and try to make the game a little bit faster and a little bit more dangerous, but also safe at the same time with different rules that they're adding in.
Like I said, they have like Tier one signings they're doing.
I think they're signing everybody.
A quarterback they're doing.
Different drafts are different types of rounds.
Are groups together for each draft that they do like 10 or 20 rounds of skill position players and 10 or 20 or 30 rounds of defensive lineman or front seven players and then secondary other players.
So it seems very interesting.
They're not doing like the quarterback draft of the A F did, which looking back on in hindsight, I felt like the quarterback draft wasn't as exciting as maybe this one is. Now.
I know that they're just because they're sounding rounds and knocking out broadcasted on TV.
I think they're just putting it out on their socials and kind of updating people.
I'm hoping that they fall along.
I'm sure maybe they'll have it.
I'm sure motel people who cover the XFL will have maybe live shows on it and be falling and closely all 70 rounds.
I surely will not be one of those people, but I'm definitely intrigued.
Hey, maybe he goes in the top.
Maybe all tune in for certain.
Draft a skill position? One for sure.
I feel like that's very intriguing and maybe their front 71 Maybe the second.
Everyone I know it's a two day thing.
So, you know, one of looking the more that they obviously have tons of XFL accounts that you look into, but also the XFL website and exits on Twitter.
So through the 1st 3 days, they've announced, like, I guess 600 600 or so players, I would say the first day, But I think the biggest thing was probably Connor Cook on there.
Who? I guess at this point, it's not gonna be one of the eight quarterbacks assigned.
Some people knew what type of quarterbacks we're gonna be.
We're gonna be a part of this.
But they didn't know which ones were gonna be the Tier one quarterbacks.
I guess that's how they're putting it.
I know there were some that they were hoping to get from the NFL or the practice squad, and they ended up signing with an NFL team or they signed on to the practice squad and didn't want to play in the XFL.
So I guess as we continue to get these lists will see which quarterbacks are missing or which quarterbacks or not, listen and then we'll see which ones we can kind of speculating who they will be.
Maybe they'll announce that the last day I'm not really sure.
Anyways, Connor Cook, he used to be Michigan State quarterback, played with Oakland Raiders.
I think he had a playoff start of that year.
There were some injuries to their quarterbacks.
He was he was like the one that was kind of the poster boy for that day.
One, uh, some other names I saw were interesting.
Roberto A blow before.
The state kicker, who was selected in the second round, never panned out.
But he's got another opportunity here.
Trey McBride, who played for the Titans and the Jets with seven from Pick back in the day.
You play with the Texans, See over silica, who I believe was a defensive fact with the Patriots and that he played in A and Jonas Gray, Another guy who play with the Patriots won some Super Bowls.
He was a running back there for a little bit.
I think maybe just 11 You think the year they be Seattle, that maybe was there for the one that lost matter and then the problem of the two.
Then treat me the most one with Darren Thomas, who's a quarterback at Oregon when they're playing Auburn for the national championship. They lost.
I felt like he was very talented, very good quarterback, and he kind of disappeared off the earth.
Well, now he's got a chance to play football again.
I'm not too sure how old he is now, but he will be interesting to see if he's still got it could still play very well.
Just decide to see you know, these quarterbacks and these players they haven't seen a long time.
The other one that interested me a little bit.
Was this running back named talking? Really? He is, I think, maybe the only, if not maybe like the few international players that are coming over.
He's a running back who played in Japan, I think, born and raised in fighting Japan.
And I've seen, you know, I've seen a couple of games in Japan, uh, seeing that I've been there because my mother is Japanese.
But the level of competition is certainly not what it is in America, so it's pretty impressive to see him.
I've been following him a little bit.
You played in the Spring League and impress.
I guess you gotta end by and did well at his at one of the pro day that they had for the XFL, and now it's gonna be a member or at least a draft fully for the F f l so pretty incredible what he's been able to do despite the competition level on, despite the level of interest that there isn't Japan talking early.
It will be part of this draft, but I think there's a good chance he could be drafted.
I don't know what type of running backs are in this draft.
I've seen a few, but, you know, I don't recognize a lot of names, so maybe that gives him a better advantage.
S So that's what kind of the first, the first days.
The second day they got a little bit more interesting.
Like I said, the names got a little bit more prominent.
So Day two, the poster boy was kind of right with They had, like two players on each list of 200.
That they made a graphic of who were kind of showing is, like maybe the highlight of this list in that list.
So Ryan Broyles was the 1st 1 He was a standout Oklahoma about back a few years ago and then play with the lines but suffered a ton of injuries.
That kind of I don't want that ended his career, but it stopped his career from dressing.
You never really got to take off with the lion that I know he's a second round picks, and now he gets a chance to redeem himself.
Katie Cannon, a former Baylor wide receiver, I think, shortly play in the NFL.
I felt like that was maybe a bigger name.
He played with the Cowboys for a little bit.
Was a past catching scatback in the NFL, and I did a very good job.
I think he had a C L injury.
That kind of, uh, heard him in terms of team signing him.
So now he gets another chance, Terry and folds them.
I just put on here because I really like to say it.
But I also really liked him at Notre Dame for reporters, a CEO.
Glad he's got another chance.
He's one of a few guys that we had on her crime or a podcast.
Really support guys that were just kind of have to come on for a little bit.
Many people who his dad was, they are.
They made the movie after him invincible.
And so that's his son, Max McCaffrey and Armani.
Foreman to guys who are brothers in the NFL or on in Armani's case, did have a brother play in the NFL.
Max McCaffrey's obviously the brother of Christian McCaffrey and the son of Ed McCaffrey.
The holidays are the Super Bowl receiver he might be in the whole affair with mushrooming Chris McCaffrey.
We know what kind of player he's been.
Max McCaffrey is a brother.
He's the oldest brother.
So pretty cool to see, employees said some NFL stands Armani Foreman, the brother of the deante foreman who was cut by the Texans That has yet to be re signed.
Well, hell, another A.
I've got a ton of Alliance for American football.
It's like pretty much every everybody's down on team or an NFL team just moved from a F SFL.
So cool to see, to see those guys get another chance.
Will Hill, who was the dominant safety in the NFL but struck struggle with suspensions? He did this thing with the Orlando Pollos and the A F so close to him again.
Jalen Saunders, also in Oklahoma receiver, was pretty good.
I remember he got drafted by the Jets.
I did not like that selection and you never end up handing out unfortunately, but it's a chance try again here in the XFL.
Patrick Tolls, Who's another quarterback from Kentucky? I thought he's pretty good there.
Surprised he didn't have more NFL chances.
And the other kind of highlighted name for Day two was Kenny Robinson Jr.
Who was dismissed from the West Virginia program as a junior, missed the date or miss some kind of requirements to join the supplemental draft.
So with college eligibility left rather than transferred to a smaller college and then maybe another college later, he decided that he's gonna play in the XFL, expose himself to the NFL in this in this you in this league in the spring that's being hyped up for the past two or three years, and I think you can play against professionals, and that could really help his chance.
I'm really curious to see how it goes because he's kind of setting the stage for other college.
Where's that potentially might bypass college We've seen in the n B A help some young guys air, bypassing the MBA.
They're different avenues, whether it be internationally, whether it be sitting a year on in training on their own, whether it be the D League's and now Kenny Robinson Jr has kind of opened the door for other college players to do the same in the future and a lot of it.
A lot of that rides on how well he does and how well he translate against playing against pros.
I know these guys aren't the NFL, but these are guys who have played in the NFL, have quite a high level of college, and they're gonna be really good.
So Kenny Robinson, I think, was already.
I think teams were planning on drafting him, whether it be in the NFL draft, the supplemental draft.
So this if you think that's gonna boost the stoppage, I think it's significantly can boosted a lot, especially if he does well and does well all year and it's consistent.
It's gonna be interesting.
Uh, you know, he kind of laid the red carpet down for everybody else behind them.
So those were the names on Day two, and then they came out with one today where I said the names got a lot more problems, a lot more known.
A lot of these guys you're hearing, you'll think, Oh man, I haven't heard of his name in a while, so the 1st 1 I just wanted the point.
I was tricked, Richards and who we have heard his name and the Alliance of American Football wasn't wasn't productive in terms, the yards per carry when he was running the ball or how many Archie on the ground but scored a ton of touchdowns during his time with the Birmingham iron that led to a lot of games.
They were really a ground and pound team in the Alliance of American Football out of Great defense and then just leaned on Richardson barreling into the end zone a lot of the time.
So Trevor understand? Will return and he gets a chance in the XFL.
He'll probably be East, the top running back I've seen so far, although I don't know how teams are valuing.
I'm based on a F career.
Next, the guys that really stood out where Robert Meachum, who was a former Tennis Tennessee volunteer who was a former New Orleans st.
I thought he had a pretty productive career when he was in the NFL, not really sure why he kind of fizzled out him, and then you go before he was a speech, sir.
I think that was during the Al Davis years, where they selected Jacoby Ford in the first round.
He didn't pan out like muscle hope, too, but he's a dangerous he.
I don't know if he's still has the same type of speed.
He was a track athlete was a kicker.
Turner, Speedy wide receiver to guys.
I haven't heard their names in a while.
I'm super excited to see how they they fit into the XFL is plans.
See how much people covet them.
I think another name that we haven't seen yet is Hakim Nix.
That, I think, was that one of the showcases.
And so I'm super excited to see if he's also gonna be a part of that draft fool.
I think the biggest defensive name of scenes of bars well, Sudden, who has a ton of experiencing NFL offensive line enough.
He is, most recently with the Bears, that that's where I remember him the most.
So I thought it was interesting that he decided to join the XFL.
Am maybe take like the Joe Johnson around of the of the football.
Where are the basketball world? Joe Johnson went to the Big Three and now in the NBA I've talked about this on a few strings before, and now we see maybe we'll start.
I'm tryingto see if this is a place you can showcase himself and get right back into the NFL.
I'm sure I'm sure it is with the way they F and success.
It's had in terms of players going from a at least getting a chance in the NFL.
I think we could see a similar result.
Zach Men burned another, another a f guy.
You know, he played with Memphis Express for a little bit.
Had as some moments with the Titans.
Just, unfortunately, just never had a good team and never want to start.
I think in 10 games he never won one start.
The one hairs guy who had some minimal success with the Packers, Maybe one or two years in the playoffs and the final guy.
No one here, by the way, could be a top running Bacchus.
Well, him Richard Center Lance Dunbar.
I guess it just depends on how you're playing Air raid or you want.
You want a bigger back.
Come on by the ground and pound.
You know, I don't really know these guys, these coaches Stiles.
Maybe, except for Bob Stoops use.
I mean, I guess he's not the only guy.
He's been a head coach.
I know Marc Trestman was a head coach for a little bit.
Camera. Jim Zorn One year.
So you know, I don't really know everyone's place, always, really besides Bob Stevens.
But we'll see the last thing that really intrigued me a lot of, by the way, a lot of a F names to thes three list.
I think I've counted relief from the legends and themselves.
I think I've counted at least 30.
So you can just imagine times, eh? That's probably probably a little bit over half the list being former Alliance of American Football guys, so super cool to see them continue their career.
But the last guy I saw that was interesting was Benny tested murder.
Junior, who is obviously the son of a Vinnie Testaverde E.
On, and I think he's a quarterback at Albany, is what I know.
I've been really good to see him.
I know he spent some time with the Cowboys in the off season, maybe this past offseason, so she see, we'll just see the names tomorrow when they come out, they usually been coming around around like 12 to 3 Eastern somewhere in that time frame and pretty cool just to see these guys named I I had to say it, but I'm intrigued.
I'm not gonna put in the effort to, you know, cover it.
And I'm not I probably we'll start a podcast or anything about it unless it comes that land at some point, which that would be two or three down, see down the road if it even makes it.
However, that being said, I don't mind watching these teams and see how they are put together and rooting for a team taking the team and seeing who I want to get behind.
Right now, I'm kind of in favor of Seattle, mostly because I know they have a football team, but I feel like they're, you know, they don't have a basketball team, so I feel like it's good for the XFL.
They deserve something.
Those sports fans up there.
So I think I kind of like their logo the best in the Seattle Dragons.
But none of them are too close to me.
I think the closest is gonna be either Tampa Bay or need, or I think the name for panel are kind of interesting and really out there.
But you created them for one would do something like that.
But yeah, I don't know.
That's just my thoughts.
And Nancy felt maybe I'll come back over the weekend and talk a little bit more about the last two days and see how much new leaves that's that's been put out there.
You know, Day four and a five.
Who knows what they do for Day five could be a grand finale.
So a podcast I've been listening to is This is the XFL show podcast.
I was pretty good, but like I said, there's ton of Tana podcast time social media accounts out there that are dishing out kind of information no hard.
If I hit any of this stuff, and if you can't, you know, it's obviously you can just go to that hotel website, so definitely check it out.
If you want me to talk more about that step fell on just my brief thoughts on it.
I would be happy to do that.
Unfortunately, I'm saying I'd be happy to do it.
But football is football, and it's that's something that it's hard.
Once you're entertained by and once you're stuffed into, it's hard to get out of it.
Plus, that means more fantasy leagues, right? So so XFL Fantasy leagues, I'm sure, is something that they are going to get into that business.
It seems like, uh, you know, from a business standpoint, it seems like the smart thing to do, So I definitely think that's that.
That will be a part of the fantasy football world, and that may be the main reason I watch it, and I'm okay with that.
I think that could be fun.
We'll just see if this thing can last.
We obviously haven't seen a kind of spring football leagues last very long, But we you know, we've seen at least the USFL life for three years before Ah, that collapse.
So we'll see if maybe that's it felt.
Maybe they've had 19 years to try to create this thing.
It's been since 2001 yeah, 19 years ago, they started 2020.
So it should be interesting.
I know that the draft is gonna be like October 15th through October 15th and 16th so next Tuesday and Wednesday.
I guess they're just gonna from what another is gonna post on their social media.
And I guess they're just going to say so.
And so is on the clock.
So it's a clock.
Um, I I'm sure they're gonna have multiple social media managers, that they are whoever's working the social media sites because they're gonna have a lot of work to do with 70 rounds.
But I know that they do have the the order of the dress for each one.
So the skill position want front seven ones.
Like I said, I couldn't tell you who's first in any of them.
I haven't looked that deeply into him.
I just know that Tampa Bay doesn't have any first round picks for any of those or they don't have any first picks.
They don't get to pick first.
I think I'm more intrigued on how the quarterbacks air dished out whether or not the coaches a decision and picking them and which quarterbacks is gonna be.
I mean, I'm not quarterbacks to being assigned, but are they the tier one tier one guys, I mean, that would be something that be helpful.
If anyone do that, are they the tier one guys that are gonna be signed? Other other skill positions? That could be Tier one player so super intrigued by all that.
If somebody has more information on this, I would love to hear from you because I'm not too sure.
But that's all I have for you guys today.
I appreciate you guys tuning in.
I will hopefully come back on the another stream.
Maybe before the college football we can get started over the NFL football.
We can get started.
So I appreciate everybody tuning in, and I hope you guys have a great rest of the night.
