Guys blew from one rash forts here.
A lot to talk about, but a lot of stuff happening since last time I was on here haven't been on him on Saturday, But, yeah, let's get right into it.
Um, Monday Night Football.
Brown's said friend, um, I'm a huge Jimmy G.
Guy loved Jimmy Garoppolo, but he's got to get back.
Um, that defense is unbelievable.
They just put it absolute beating on the Cleveland Browns.
It was really bad.
Cleveland had no answer on the old line, and I just think it's we see this loss.
It's coaching in the old line that that is what it is.
That two of the biggest pieces and to the reasons that good teams are good teams like the Patriots every year.
I know Dallas doesn't have a great coach, but great old line, uh, the pack is this year.
Goto line good head coach.
Same thing with the Saints.
Good head coach and I just feel like a guy like Bacon. Mayfield.
He's not athletic enough to get away from defenders like that, especially when this getting killed on both sides.
You know what I mean? He's not costing ones or Russell Wilson that that can do these magician acts and kind of get out that he's a pocket passer.
It is what it is, and I feel like they didn't plan for that.
They didn't plan for the old line to break down like this consistently, And it's not just you're in verse verse, bad teams and good teams.
Nick Bosa had had not had a great game all season until Monday night.
You know he was not, and he was not even in the Rookie of the Year talks until now, like this.
Put his name on the map because of how bad that that online was.
And it's the same foot from when they played Baltimore.
I know involved more than look great, but they were still hitting Vaca.
He was still getting hit on, and I just don't know why it they thought that this old line was good enough.
They literally left out.
A key fundamental piece of winning good football games is having a good old line.
We've seen it time and time again.
It makes quarterbacks like Dak Prescott looked like Tom Brady in certain games, you know, it really did.
It's the number one thing you have to have for a young quarterback on.
They just don't have it.
It's just not there.
They have the receivers, tight ends, heart.
They have running back agreement.
One comes back to running backs on.
They have a good pass rush.
But there's no line and there's just no stability.
The coach is just all over the place, and I think it's just very obvious that we see that this was a big Mayfield who was behind this.
Hiring it wasn't wasn't really well thought out.
Well, they just thought that, hey, he likes Freddie kitchens.
He likes his play calls, So why don't make him the head coach, And it just really tough to see that.
I mean, like, I didn't think the Browns were going to be that good, but I did not expect them to be this bad.
I thought if they were gonna lose games, it would be because they just weren't.
They weren't all messing with.
Baker would have a beef with Landry.
No dellape, but they're getting along fine.
They're getting all the flying, but it's just a head coach like you have Odo back in return.
The kick at the end of the game, you're getting blown out.
What kind of call is that? It he Egypt.
He's your best player.
Why would you even play him in that situation? Especially when there was a risk of injury? He did fumble.
The dude holds the football with one hand.
I know he's a playmaker, but if you want to get in, touch is and you want a satisfying do it on the offensive side of the ball.
Not I'm not on the kick returns.
It just made no sense.
It looks like Freddie Kitchens is winging it.
Um, and it's exactly what I said coming into this season.
I said, I don't trust them because I don't trust the coaching staff and it's tough for me to see a team that's always been dysfunctional, just goto functional off of a year and every Q B.
Uh, that's a sophomore takes a dip down like we're even seeing Mahomes in its second year.
But it started, but second year you've even taken a slight step back like nothing crazy.
But he has taken a step back.
But Mark Jackson, who wasn't great last season in front of the worst of them all last season, is the only one who's progressed because he he was.
He wasn't much of a passing begin with, and he's gotten better.
Is a throw of the football.
But but Baker Mayfield just he's not even that accurate right now.
I mean, there were throws that just behind receivers a little too far outside a little low, and like even when he had time in the pocket, he was just slightly off.
That passed the Calloway I get talent should have caught it, but that was a little low on to the side.
You gotta put that right in the wheelhouse, especially in the red zone.
It looks like he's just unequivocally frustrated.
He doesn't know he's never really had this happen to him where he's just not consistently accurate and he's never not had passed protection like this.
I mean, he's running for his life after time.
I don't know what what it is, I mean, and they lose a big weapon and chub when they make him sit back and pass block and even then it still doesn't work.
He's still not that pass blocker that they need back there.
It's not like they have, like, Justin.
Use check back there for the 49 is that Fullback was an unbelievable blocker and past Kasia.
They don't have that.
They really, really need to rely on the old line.
It was such a mismatch, and I can't believe it was as bad as it was.
Um, you know, that was terrible.
On the 49 aside, their defense is legit.
I don't know about the offensive side.
I love points out, Jamie, That's my guy, but he's got to get better.
He looks like an ultimate game manager.
That's what he looks like.
We know he could be a little better than that, But how much better is really the question like, What's his ceiling? We really don't know he's started less games than the Baker Mayfield in his career, so that, you know, I mean, that's crazy to even think that at the age of 26.
But it's true, so he's just gonna get better.
Um, how Shannon heads in the top three for coach of the year.
It's probably him, Frank Reich, and probably like the Florida have a floor at this moment because of how he's kind of changed the Packers offense and the defense is unbelievable, too.
That was, Ah, big shock.
I didn't it did not expect San Fran to just beat on the Browns like that.
I thought they would.
They would win the game, but not not that bad.
And Robbie Gold.
Adam had had a bad game, very rare for all the gold.
But they could have even had more points on the field.
And they would have had a Cleveland have had worst field position off the kickoff so that he would have been even worse for them.
Um, but enough with that beginning my picks of the week.
This Reed first time I actually have all on the dogs on my picks of the week.
Last week we went three for four this week, hoping to go forth before um, 1st 1 is the Saints at Jacksonville.
They're getting plus one.
I'll take the Saints over Jacksonville any day.
Uh, yeah, I don't think John Ramsey's gonna play, and I just don't trust gotta mention verse that good of a defense and I don't think the Jaguars can stop that great Saints offense.
I really don't even if Drew Brees and he's not there.
But Camara, Michael Thomas, Jared Cook goddess thing going last game.
They're just so goddamn good.
It's really scary, but I thought they would take a step back this year, and I was completely off on that.
Good without Drew Brees.
I hate to say that, but it's true.
They're just a good football team and I just think them getting points for us.
A team like Jackson go.
I don't care if it's in the in the Superdome or not.
I'll take the Saints all day.
Next one got the Rams plus three and 1/2 verse for 49 is I'll say this.
I'm like the 40 Niners defense much more, but Jimmy Garoppolo and that offense handle the pass rush.
If the run game isn't going in, they're gonna have to force the ball into Jimmy G's hands.
I think it could be a big problem and I do not know if if teams can keep this Rams offense, they haven't kept this.
Is Rams offense contained? Seattle couldn't do it.
Tampa couldn't do the only team we saw kind of do.
It was Carolina.
That was the first game of the year.
So I just don't think the Rams can finish this San Frank and win a shoot out in L.
A with the Rams.
I just don't see that happening.
I think they're going to get it together.
I have faith in the rims, and I do think if San friends gonna lose a game this year, it's gonna be on the road to a division team.
I think the Rams have been severely underrated.
I know they haven't looked too great.
I know people have been giving off a hot time, but the defense has been awful.
Um, and I don't know if it could get any worse, and I feel like once Aaron Donald explodes on, say Friends online might be game over.
Went out with a what? It's a concussion protocol, so we'll see you step is huge piece.
And when he went out on Monday, you could just see the 40 Niners offense just wasn't the same, even though it was for a driver to you could just tell he adds an element that blocking and passing out of the back that they really, really need, especially for Ah, run first team.
That's my 2nd 1 Rams plus three and 1/2 My next one.
The Titans plus two and 1/2.
I really like the Titans.
I liked the Broncos the beginning of the season.
I thought they could beat the charges and be second in that division, but I just don't think they're that created a football team right now.
I think the Titans defense is really gonna give Joe Flacco problems, and I don't know if the Broncos will be able to stop the rush.
And if the Russian attacks going, Marriott has been good to see you, and I still don't know if he even has a pick yet.
If he does, it's only one.
He's been better this season that I've given him credit for, and I give him a lot of lot of crap.
So he's really impressed me.
Mike fables a hell of a coach.
They just had a better season overall than I thought.
It's just that defense is very, very good and I did not see that coming.
I thought their secondary even cause Malcolm Butler last year was great.
He was when they signed him, he was getting blown by by a lot of receivers.
It was it was getting ugly, and it was clear to seed it.
Maybe he was a system guy, but he looks a lot better.
And him and Logan Ryan have that paper thing going up up in Tennessee and Derek Henry's a beast on the other side of the football on that kid.
Brown is, however, receiving a cover, and I don't know if the Browns, I mean, the Broncos can hang with them for 4/4 especially put up points of them, because that offense stagnant.
It's very, very stagnant outside of Phillip, Lindsay and then, uh, my last one, Um, the Eagles at Minnesota plus three and 1/2.
We've seen the Eagles be good on the road this season, You know, when they were losing games, they were just barely out of it like verse.
The Lions and they beat the Packers on the road, and I don't see Minnesota.
Minnesota does not play well versed teams that are about 500 just a fact.
Car Cousins hasn't that You guys have a good pass rush, a solid front line.
They don't let up a lot of Russian young.
So Dalvin Cook might need to catch more passes, then runs this this game because he he's going up against a team that does not allow the run.
I know their secondary's a little banged up so I could see feeling having a good game, maybe digs putting on a show.
But I just don't know if they could go tit for tat with that Eagles offense, especially if they're not dropping the ball.
If you catch the ball for Kostya once, he's going to put it there, and I feel like he's done it verse just about every team this year, and I don't think it matters.
Home rode with with the teeth with the years because they're that good and they smell blood in the water with the Dallas Cowboys.
They can sense it, all right, and if we get a little thing going, we were down two games to them.
Let's see if we can get the momentum going and really kind of, you know, I mean get right on their ass and put pressure on Dallas because I don't know how well.
Dallas, What will play in the Eagles were proven they use a proven they have been to a Super Bowl with those guys I owe.
Casamance wasn't the style, but it's about the same guys.
Really mean Fletcher Cox, Al Shaun, Geoffrey Angle.
You know what I mean? Like these guys are all all pieces that they've gone deep within the playoffs.
They even were a playoff team last year, and they looked better than Dallas did in the playoffs.
In my opinion, I just don't know.
I don't trust Kirk cousins enough in a big game verse, a great team, and I think the Eagles are hot.
I think they're coming up and it's gonna be a long day.
And I think I just even the three and 1/2 You still win if if the Vikings win by three, because I think it's a close game and I think people are really overrating how bad the Eagle secondary is and how bad the defense can be just because I did a little good early and they're getting things together of Qassam wants gets the run game going, and then he makes his ears.
Houdini act passes.
The Eagles are a really good team.
I think people really slept on them.
I definitely did.
I like Dallas over the gate, but again, the Eagles for me, wrong.
I've been proven wrong a lot this season on a couple of teams, and I've been proven right, like on the charges.
I said they weren't going to be what they were, and they were gonna take a huge setback and no playoffs.
And I still think that, um, even though they have Melvin Gordon back and just one more thing a couple of picks in each position that I really like this week, the 1st 1 Brady on prime time on Thursday in New England, playing the Giants.
First of all, Brady plays great against the Giants in the regular season.
When they have to play them, it's at home.
It's gonna be a rainy game.
The lot eternal is from the Giants.
It's gonna be It's gonna be a bad game for them. It's gonna be Schlopy.
Daniel Goldin is coming into probably the hottest stadium in the NFL play on a rainy day and Bella Check just eats those guys alive.
And if you give Brady good field position, he's going to school.
The football, especially on a terrible, terrible secondary like the Giants my wide receiver picked this week.
D hop in Kansas City.
Uh, the Kansas City Houston game.
Absolute shoot up.
This is going to be probably the game of the week, maybe outside of the Rams and 49 is, but this is gonna be a great game.
D hop's been a little slow this season, but I think this is the game he really gets on track.
We've seen in Kansas City defense be weak, and I just don't think they have what it takes to cover the consistently foot for 4/4 and running back.
How can you not pick McCaffrey? He's the best player on the offensive side of the ball this season.
On this hands down, he's the only player that's not a Q B.
That should be on the M v P, lest he is doing everything.
I incredible more yards than Zeke and Girly combined this season.
That's that's unbelievable.
He's really doing something special.
Even though I don't.
Cam Newton comes back I think it'll stunt what McCaffrey's doing.
So I kind of owe back came, takes his time coming back.
S So you admit Caffrey is just unbelievable in the tight end.
Austin Hooper playing Arizona this week.
Cooper as I'm pretty sure the most fantasy points for any time and already in Arizona usually lets up, I think.
Besides, last week they let up a touchdown and 70 plus yards to a tight end every week besides to Tyler Eifert last week.
So I just think, Austin, who was gonna eat? I think they're gonna be way too focused on Julio and talent.
And I think Austin Hooper, I'll have a really good day.
And I think he's so consistent and he's kind of been met.
Ryan Safety Blanket on third down this year, so we'll see Guy should tune into since the sandbox podcast.
We're doing our fantasy rankings for this week.
Kind of spoiled mine a little bit.
Who will be at the top of mine, but listening
