Welcome to the sports talk with Carolyn Marsh.
Welcome, Thio Stock with Carolyn Marsh Tuesday, October 8 We're gonna be going over to lane breakdown today.
Sorry about everything.
Little late, but better late than never.
So how's everybody doing? What's Castor live? We're going.
Going to go to the to a press conference in progress.
So let's go ahead and put that on to a press conference Where we Fritz is on the, um hold him so well, they're gonna be reviewing previewing you.
You kind this week.
You time to lane to 45.
Kickoff at home. A stadium.
The game will be on.
I think it will be on ESPN, I think three or something like that.
Or our ESPN news, whatever.
Check in ESPN local for Let's go ahead and set this up.
Well, he French at the podium.
Precious Hole turned to stop.
We'll tackle the guy.
So it was good and someone worked on a bunch.
We didn't execute very well with the next guy over there at that point.
So luckily, uh, they call what happened sometimes it didn't happen.
But you think this is like a mature? Yeah, Yeah, you know, you go on the road, you play good team, it's it's tough.
And against that type of team, you gotta be, uh, extremely, uh, you know, tough mentally and physically because, you know, that lets front guys camp sampling DeAndre von right, Those guys playing, looking chopped and cut every other play.
And and that's just how they do it.
Sit around your wine about it.
You're not gonna play the next play hard.
And those guys, too, did a good job playing tough guy football.
We could make a comparison there to say, I like it out there.
Yeah, you know, there is the comparison there, you know? That's said it a few times.
Guys probably sick of me.
Say aye more one of my first jobs, our head coach told the offense coordinator.
You know, it's get the fast guys the ball in space that's always resonated with me.
And if he get those fast, quick guys, that ball in space, some is good gonna happen.
And no longer can that be with the running back.
Just handing them the ball.
Give him the ball on the perimeter, either by handing in her passenger or Ah, running, handing it off and getting on the perimeter and we're trying to get the ball.
We can close in a couple of kick returns.
You know, I think he touched the ball 15 times offensively another four times.
One time the sun was in his eyes on a punt return.
I thought if that wouldn't have happened, he caught the ball, had about 20 yards space.
It had been a big place.
Yeah, that's a It's a good comparison.
It's good guy to be compared to you.
Medical party up.
How much is how good it is? He's an excellent ball ball handler.
You know what? He does a good job of faking, and that's a really important part of the game that goes on.
Coached in, uh, Coach Hall is an excellent job of coaching him on it, and Justin does a good job executed during practice.
We got a lot of different ball handling that has got to do where he's spinning around his right to left faking to a guy handed it to another guy.
Everybody's gotta be on point when we're doing that, but you're right.
He's an excellent ball handler.
Replay the guy gets that field running the wrong way.
And then the other part of it, too, is you know, when he gives the ball, you know, acting like he has the ball and carrying out its fake you.
After he hands the ball off, I get another set of eyes on the secondary on him, and now they're losing leverage.
If we break through the second level and you know he does a good job of that, it's like quarterbacks. Not very good.
Obviously, that was, You know, that is unique in its own right.
Yeah, yeah, that's good question definitely helped us because, you know that that understanding, triple option, you know, we play it every year with Navy.
So we're we're always working on that, particularly in the off season, uh, during a summer a little bit.
But if we wouldn't have had that week off, would have spent a lot of time on this during preseason camp.
So our guy's got jumped right into it on game week.
Uh, so yeah, that's that was good.
That a game they did week off to, you know, an extra week to prepare and put a few things and there's a few wrinkles they put in that.
You know, we weren't, uh, ready for, but it always happens.
You just gotta be able to adjust.
Sideline are out there on the field.
Is it a poor transition to go back way? Did some good all good during the week to where we went against our offense.
And and there's a lot of similarities with our offense.
Does at least formation Lee and run game pass came and other teams doing in particular What were you conned desk just started acting different.
Oh, you know, that's one of things we talked about on Monday is just got turned the page.
And, you know, you know, there's, uh, you know, one of the things you gotta do is way.
Tell her guys all time you gotta put the team first, and that's hard in this day and age.
People in your ear, you know, in Tennessee is for people who get selfish.
But we want to put the team first, and everything we do and number two is, you know, drown out the noise, you know, and don't worry about that.
And it hasn't been important.
Up until last couple weeks, and, uh, I think our guys understand that I I really believe if you sitting linger on past successes or failures, you're not gonna be the best.
You can be that following week.
So, you know, hopefully this practice was any different after all, Burner after the Army game, that's all.
Got to be the same with preparation station this year.
How do you guys still like one for me? Well, we got a long ways to go, you know, And, uh so it's just, you know, we all we also talked about wanna know every week, everybody does that.
Do you really prepare that way? That's that's what we got to get the guys to do.
And I think they understand we have a lot of room for improvement, particularly penalties.
Side Mints didn't play very well in the kicking game.
I didn't finish the game that should do.
You know what should have been? She had been different.
Ballgame should have been died my fingernails over there at the end of the game that I shouldn't have to do that.
Our guys realize that your things out is proud of its after game.
Our guys were disappointed coaches were disappointed players.
At this point, I did rally everybody.
Tell me, man, it's hard to win.
Everybody's trying to win.
You know, there's a reason they've won 15 home games in a row there.
11 and two last season.
They should've beat Michigan.
Got beaten double overtime at the big House.
Shouldn't beat Ohio State.
You're going over time.
It's good football team.
So be proud of it.
And then let's let's don't repeat these mistakes.
Position well, you hope you're in that position.
But, you know, uh, it's just the growth of maturity.
The program, you know, top 25 years all I I think it would be any any anything we're getting right now.
I mean, you've been around a long time, and someone told me this four on one is since 1998.
The last time for that was 1979 or something like that.
Yeah, I've been for one of much time.
Yeah, so? So, uh, that's why you gotta drown out the noise and block it out.
And just, you know, you worry about all that stuff seizing.
It's over for you.
This is just Robin Did a long time So it's, you know, I just I said when I came in here too late, I wouldn't make too late a consistent winner year after year after year after year.
And, uh, you know, and we can do it here.
There's a lot of we got somebody plus in here.
There's no reason why we can't get it done.
Obviously a plan.
How to get rid of all the arranging a game after many running backs.
That case, you know, it's tough, you know, one you know, coaches call sheet, he's he's got that and he knows the amount of touches we'd like each guy to get to.
But then things changed during the course of the game with either an injury or a plane that's working that maybe one guy does a little bit better than the other.
You know what we loved to get? You know, there's about four or five guys he'd like to get all like them touching 10 to 15 times and some other guys 5 to 10 years and all of a sudden here, you're doing the math and you're you're after 120.
So you gotta have an unselfish dudes, you know, when they get opportunities, you gotta take advantage of it.
But it usually evens that during the course of a whole season.
Surprising what? To cut it too, you know, you know, it's, uh, well, both was subscribed there.
Same analytics company, and that's what they got.
I'm not a 15 that when I was 15 I agree 100%.
But but the 9 to 7 I, you know, with the time that was left in the game, that's what it tells you to do.
And there's only a few situations where I don't follow the analytics to the T, and that would be one of them.
Sometimes I think with 18 20 year olds don't get it, you lose hope, you know, because now you get the guy, get the onside kick, You got it.
You know all that other kind of stuff.
Now you two scores there's one enough time, in my opinion.
But that's what it told us to.
It's because he spent all that money too.
Go opposite, huh? Card is changed.
They give us a book this thick. Yes.
They give us the book that's the fourth quarter is different than the first quarter than the second quarter.
Third quarter? You know how many scores what's been happening in the fourth quarter? Sometimes you look at the game, you gotta go off of the analytics because, hey, man, this might be the last score.
It's tough sledding to get the ball in the end zone, you know? But other games shoot will score two more times or three more times in the fourth quarter.
Going back 11 told me.
Oh, that was extra point because we were playing at home, you know? Yeah, I just thought we were We're having a tough time.
Stop him at that point time.
So we went, we went for 200.
He's gonna be able to play this week.
He could have played last week, but he was about you know what, 88 85%.
Something like you had me.
I don't know how they like him up with that number, but somewhere, rather.
And, uh, he, uh, he's ready to go.
You know that game.
You gotta be able to push off both ways and s so important for those, uh, defensive lineman, have quick movement.
Hey, he'll be getting a call this week.
Years? What? Don't ask you that.
I'm probably a little older.
Most those guys.
That it, But I wanna know every good.
Hey, but anymore, That's anymore.
Well, we'll break for the podium.
Um, I'm gonna say that.
Look, to be honest with you, this doing team, look, they got to put that for one full with this inside them.
Because what? A lot of people on social media I'm gonna tell you.
Look, they're gonna they're gonna run with this stuff.
But the truth of the matter is, we got to drown this out.
We still have a long way to go in the football season before it becomes a success.
So people just got a whole wanted here.
Look, I know that, too.
Ain't Fans are eager to get a second winning season And also a bowl game.
That's that's susceptible.
But what? When you look at it, you got a beam or discipline, Because if you let this, um, this is good.
I've never seen this before.
I've never seen this scene, um, go for him one like this.
I mean, it's always too into.
It's always two and three is always suing Ford stuff like that.
But look, I'll be honest with you.
Uh, today look, if we beat Yukon, we go five and one going into, um, Memphis.
Memphis is gonna be another team that we gotta be.
We got the beat, Memphis.
I mean, that's not a team that's gonna be next week coming down the line.
So I look at it this way.
We can't rest on our laurels.
We absolutely cannot rest on our laurels, because that way we do rest on our laws.
Guess what? It's gonna all come back to bite us.
And that's what's gonna happen.
I mean, that's something I don't want to see.
I don't want to see this scene, Paula Point for any reason.
I want this scene show.
We got a good team you got.
I will host the officer coordinated.
We also got Jack Curtis sec defensive.
One day, I'm gonna tell you, Look, if we could get a good game plan and kind of beat them because you can look, they're leaving the conference that absolutely leaving the conference and actually too late without our opponent next year on the conference schedule.
So, um, let's go ahead and give you.
Let's go ahead and see what's going on to a football.
Greenway will break down the match up.
Well, I'm gonna do that in a second.
Okay? This is Ed Nicholson is this weekend.
They were duct, Ed Nichols says into the chilling Football Hall of Fame sports Hall of Fame.
Eso also, let's say Happy Birthday.
Let's see what's going on.
Such a clock with 6 p.m.
The Memphis game will be for six on October 19.
So October 19th the game will be 6 p.m.
for, um uh, too late.
And let's see, um, on on a roll of more Jones Congratulations, Omar Jones for making the honor roll on the honor roll.
So also So this is all from two A's Twitter page.
Okay, College football Awards came out.
Congratulated Coach Willie Hall, Um on Hiss as the offense, a coordinator of the week of graduation will haul so co child number 70 to follow him, um, on Twitter as well.
So let's go ahead and give see what's going on the on the Yukon side.
But I had to do that.
Go to the Yukon side.
Let me get the Yukon football.
Okay, You can football.
Let's see what's going on.
Last week they did lose, um um Central Florida about a final 56. 21.
Let's go see what's going on.
You can football.
Okay? This is Randy, asshole.
I use the coach of bomb.
You said you can't.
This is a photo photo.
I look in a bum.
You kind a ticket on a two lane this Saturday.
So this is Coach Jessel.
You could follow him.
That is the coach of bottom.
So this is what we're showing you right here. The kickoff.
Houston will be 12 with seeing we got any news on you can't football.
Put a second touchdown of the game.
Most Morsi has rushed for 2000 yards, so that's the guy you're gonna have to stop right there is bossy in the game this coming Saturday.
So? So we're showing you everything was going on on u conn dot com the happenings of Yukon football as we lead up to the game on Saturday versus, um to laying.
So I'll know we have a press conference will go ahead and we give you a break down on them.
Give me one second to switch over.
Okay, let's go to you.
Break this down. Okay.
Bullets up on the screen.
And we'll pull my screen up right into the thing.
Okay? This is the team stats on breaking down.
You can As of 10 5 you can't Averages are 18 points a game so that they're not scoring that many points a game.
When you look at it, the only scored 18 points and give up 38.
So that kind of, um, topsy turvy right there.
They give up 194 points total and games.
Um, let's say on first sound cute.
Kind as 93 to have 37 on runs, 43 on passes, 13 a penalty.
So they're going to get there first.
Sounds on those penalties that gonna get first sounds, and also they're going to get there first.
Sounds on, um, pass play.
So they're gonna pass the football now.
They'll pass the football on first down.
Now, um, rushing towards you can runs 188 plays 524 yards.
That's six touchdowns and they go on the ground to they have six touchdowns on the ground now passing the football.
I'm gonna go ahead and go to decide They passed some 147 times.
They'll throw 100 and 47 times while running 188 times.
So it's a mixed bag right there.
So it's an absolute mixed bag for UConn.
So I look at it this way.
This is This is gonna be a good football team right here.
We'll show you that lost wins and losses in just a few moments.
Okay, The defense passing the football e.
They give up 15 touchdowns.
So that's Ah, center right there for the two.
Ain't offense Toe.
Take advantage up right there.
Now total yards of offense.
They averaged 1541 yards.
U Conn defense averages gives up 2082 yards on 313 plays, so they kind of, um, give up 2000 yards on 313 snaps.
Also, they put, um um five times the games so they kind of that don't put that much of a point, maybe five times a game.
Um and, um, the poll.
Um, let's say, um interceptions, thrown, interceptions, returns.
So they have four per one score moves.
They, um Okay, nine fumbles for 30 nine for months and more fired.
So they kind of, um not, um it very carrots with that football.
So that kind of that fumbles upright, damp.
Um, um, you can I'm gonna tell you right now if you could get turnovers on, you can guess what? You can keep the ball for a long time.
Now tell your say, a 31 penalty for 2 45 So they kind of racking up the kind of racking them up on offense.
A rocket him up or defense as well.
They have 40 penalties for 3 78 now.
Third down efficiency.
We're looking at it right now.
Third down efficiency.
You can have some 20 of 68.
They're not nearly as good on third down.
There are only about 29%.
Ah, in games now on fourth down there, five of 10.
So they'll go for it on fourth down.
They will go for it now That red zone opportunities.
We're looking at it right here.
They're at 92% so they're red. So scores.
Our scores out of 14 in the red zone.
Now, Phil goes to kick five of eight.
So that kind of stats kind of look at I mean on this page right here.
On paper, I must say you can absolutely on paper looks pretty good.
But in some areas, not all areas.
So let's give you the, um the results from last week.
Okay? You can't.
On week one defeated Wagner 24 20 1 day they lost the Illinois 31 23.
They also, So they kind of right now that one in, they want their wanna pull one to Ray on that one and four this season.
They're not that good this year.
They're not good.
I mean, I'll be honest with your kind of that kind of slippery slope football team.
So this is this.
This right here? Might be a trap game.
Um um two lane to endure because 28412 And it's got everything going for him there.
So they're wanted.
They always do on the road that always two on the road.
It's not that perfect.
Go on the road so they can.
If you can get a win and and come out Rosie, you'll be fine.
But you cannot make the same mistake that you made against Army.
Kind of what pretty snap penalties and stuff like that.
If you do, you're gonna pay the price.
That's the thing about it.
You will pay the price.
Your team will absolutely pay the price.
So this is what we're breaking down right here.
Okay, let's give you an in depth look on their quarterback situation.
We're gonna go ahead and go into the quarterbacks.
Must pull that up, kid Quarterback from the screen and got him on my screen.
So show you a photo of a setback in our photo shop.
It for him said that, um, I'm a snap of a crop it to snap it.
So you never see what I'm talking about.
Right now I'm going to profit give you and then that look on this scene right here.
Okay. That's what I'm showing you on the screen.
So when a priest you're gonna decrease this So about, say, pull us up in this rain, you'll say that my sprained if you if you could see it, let me know if it's small enough.
I'll kind of I'll kind of bring it down for you.
Let me bring it down.
Can I give you the full stats? Right here.
Um, this is the guy we're talking about right here.
Say, Okay, I got it right on my screen.
I assumed it in.
Okay, They got they got a quarterback name Mike.
Um, Mike, both dry and trying to say his name.
Bo Drying might blow dry.
They have to to freshman on the football team.
They have two freshmen that's been starting for their on team The Be honest with you.
So his name is Jack Garrett.
I'm trying to say his name.
He has three starts.
Hey, has four in deception.
So he's got four in deception, so he'll have a touchdown.
The first guy, the first quarterback that cigarette, cigarettes.
I'm trying to say his name.
Hey, complete 36 of 62 passes is rating at some 95 7 Also, Bo Dry has 367 year old passing.
Hey, throws up 50 of 32 passes.
He has one touchdown and one in it.
And also steve Car trying to read his name there.
Um hey, Kate, I'm trying these names.
Hard to pronounce.
I'll kind of show it to you on the screen.
I don't wanna bore you with my spelling, okay? He throws for one touch, three touchdowns and one interception.
So they're going to use one of these quarterbacks in their line up against some the Tulane Green wave.
So make them with think about it.
So if you could see it, let me know.
I'm going home on Snapchat.
So we'll give you another one in the second.
We go ahead and give you running in the running game.
Yeah, Let's give you the running game about, um, put this in a, um, snap area.
So you've ever see it on my screen, so we won't have to move the screen around, see if I could pull us up into my arm scream so I could show it.
Tell you in a snap snap, snap shot from a show it to you.
A snapshot in just a second.
What was then? Caption? There it is.
Okay, we'll show it to you on the screen.
I'm gonna keep my screen alone.
So this is what we're showing you on the screen kind of moment in a little bit.
Running back they have. It's Kevin.
NASA Gavin Message.
M e f um m e n s a h.
Yeah, he's a junior carriage, for he has four touchdowns.
That's the running back game right there.
That's the whore running backs right there.
We're looking that also, um, Art Tonkin.
You also has 140 162 yards off on 44 carries.
Also the quarterback.
He also carries the football as well.
That Stephen, where gas key could gas key.
I'm saying this name right.
Also, um, so that's your main guys is gonna run the football for, um um you can you can average is 2.
79 yards for average in games, so I will get it this way.
You're gonna have to stop mess, Messer, mess.
Messiah, you got.
You're gonna have to stop him big time.
You're gonna have to contain him in the back field because they will run that football.
They won't run him.
They were absolutely Run him on those arm, run place or screens.
So stuff like that.
So let's give you the wide receiver corn.
But to do that second, I'm gonna give you their wide receiver corps can with bullets up.
Give me their wide receiver corps breakdown Po san into my scream, a crop it to snap my crap.
Crap this stamp on.
Go ahead, cosign.
So we'll show the whole screen so we've ever give you a break down on them.
Okay? This is what we're showing you in the screen.
I'm gonna put it in full screen again.
Okay? That's what we're showing.
You okay on the wide receivers.
This I'm Cam Ross.
He has 20 catches for 2 74 Ordell Brown has some, um, 15 catches.
So that's another guy That's gonna be a bit of a pickle from them.
Also, Matt Drayton Drayton.
I has 10 catches.
So also J Raw Rose has 13 catches for 1 24 so that's a good That's a good wide receivers that they have on this football team.
But you can so so I look at it this way.
This is some decent visit.
Very good wide receivers.
They have four touchdowns on pathways, A averaging 11.1.
So? So we'll give you a not a woman.
Okay, let's give you the, um, so that's the offense right there.
That's the offense for the Yukon Huskies right there.
That's the Yukon Huskies.
Now I must give you their defense of people.
That's let's give you that.
Let's give you are Let's begin with their sack leaders, my full sack leaders in just a second.
Just give me Let me pull the sand full assent to my beer when we pulled them.
We've both scented mom screen.
You close in my spring.
Give me a second to get the screens set up.
So you've ever see it? You could see it.
Let me know in the screen, in the message.
I got the phone on.
Come, let me know.
Um, so we're gonna go over the sack, guys.
Zach, y'all into stuff like that.
Let's go ahead and give you that.
I'm a pull us up with the screen again.
So this is what we're showing you on the screen.
This is a screen shot to show you every time.
Okay, They're scraped their main guy.
It's this guy right here.
Uh, I go, I I'm trying to say his name is, um, common spelling.
Is are you g and a que He also he s three sacks.
D J. Morgan has two sacks.
Guilt and Harris says two sacks.
Also, TJ Jones has won.
Jones has one sack.
So they have 13 sacks as a teen.
13 sacks as a football team.
So they have 13 sacks going into the this game versus too late.
So So that's your sack leader, Yukon.
Okay, let's give you, um okay, let's give you their interception leaders and give you the interception, Guys.
One second, which is all.
Well, put your three young, so I gotta set in the screen, so I'm gonna go full screen.
Once again, you'll see me on the video, but I'm going full screen this time.
Switch this over.
This is I, um We pull this up one second, so you could see it in 1 25 Okay, this is there.
They have four interceptions for 105 yards and one touchdown.
The main guy, um, is, um, cold A c o.
Why l e Also, this guy right here is not a guy that some their sack leader as well say every one of them's got one sack on the team.
One sack of peace on the football team.
But the biggest some stat that stands out of suits on touchdowns right here for intercept these interceptions right here.
So these you guys have some getting intercepted, but one would what's returned for a touchdown.
And that was, um, cow.
Um C o L e c o y l e.
How you doing? Um, thanks everybody for coming into the croc can.
So if you could see it, let me know.
Let me know if you could see the, um ah, snapshot screens on Because we haven't. It's on the snapshot.
So if you could see it, let me know.
This is for you.
Con right here, Kate.
It's in the Yukon in reception leaders.
Okay, Um say? Yeah, they could see it.
Somebody could see it.
Next one, we're gonna be going over its tackles for loss.
We'll go over it tackles for loss, and I'll show you, um, tackles for loss.
Let me set this up on my screen.
Give me one second to set this up on my screen.
Now, I'll run it in there for you, but, um, see it.
Yukon, This is the Yukon Huskies right here.
We're capturing right here.
Yukon Huskies, this is your tackles for loss leaders games.
Okay, Um, deejay Morgan.
Um, let's see this guy Unger.
Um, it's a hardening Laurel eyes.
It's, um so he's one of the guys.
He's got three and 1/2 tackles for loss.
This guy, Dylan Harris, has three and 1/2 tackles as well.
Also, Ryan, um, you know, Martin has three.
This is for you.
Con, um, que Sean Paul has two and 1/2.
So this this this team can tackle for loss that could get tackled down.
That's the biggest.
Some concern right there.
The two lane, Um um offense.
Look, we got this don't get those sun tackles for loss because of you get tackles for loss.
I'm gonna tell you, you're gonna lose your dicks like that.
So And And they and they got some people that could make some tackles for loss on defense aside for UConn.
So that's the concern right there going into this football game versus the Tulane Greenway this coming Saturday afternoon at 2 45 So I kind of look at this and I kind of we're gonna go ahead and break down their rankings.
Let's go ahead and do that.
I'm gonna switch over to ante double a football dot com.
It's the website you go get.
Follow all your teams.
Whether it's college football, are are you team from? Ah, whatever sport.
You could follow NC double way that time has you covered.
So it's ahead and give you you can't some Rankin's about to do that in one second.
Scroll down and get him.
Get Yukon Rankings.
We'll go to the American Conference.
What's what's that? Over.
Okay, let's give you a team.
Let's give you calm.
You can. There it is.
I got it on my screen.
Okay, Let's give you 1/3 down conversion breakdown.
Third down conversions that ranked 12 in the conference on 123rd and on third down conversions.
Also on the defense.
So it's even 12 on third down defense.
They're ranked 120 seconds.
And the national rankings.
This is the F B s rank.
It's not beyond, um, regular conference.
The conference is 12.
Um, now, on fourth down, conversion for you, Khon.
You can't drink, eh? In the American Conference.
And also 64 in Fort Down.
Now Fort down defense.
So they have ranked second in, um, the American Conference.
So they're kind of good on fourth down defense.
Now they're ranked 22nd nationally in the FBS side.
So they kind of don't give up that many, um, Fort down efficiencies.
Now, their first down on offense.
Let's give you the first offense.
Um, they're right.
Temp in the American Conference and 107 in, um, first sound offense.
So they kind of rank near the bottom, so they rank near the bottom.
So that kind of not that good on first down efficiencies at all.
Um, now, on defense, force down defense that ranks seventh and the, um A a C That's the American conference.
And, um, 78 overall, which is some in the f.
So that's a first down defense.
Now, let's give you the scoring.
Um, offense I'm about.
Do that. One second.
Let me crop this over and give you a in depth breakdown on them.
But to do that, let me pull us up right in this area.
What was box? You don't see the white box on here.
This is a A spreadsheet.
It's like a spreadsheet.
So said your arm Interested in this? Uh, your, um I'm saying my police up in a second list.
Right about there.
Okay, we got everything on the screen.
So let's go ahead and give you a break down when I'm about to do.
On scoring offense that rank 12 in the American Conference and also, um, 118th overall.
Also a scoring defense that rank 12 s 12 in that area.
1 22 Um, scoring.
Scoring defense, Scoring offense both by 12 in the conference.
Now, um, passing efficiency.
That's passing efficiency.
That's what the offense They're ranked 11th in the American Conference in the 104 overall with 120 0.
84 yards a game.
Also, total efficiency defense.
Um, that's some passing efficiency on the defense allowed.
Um, that right. 12.
Um, that's Yukon Drink 12 with 1 66.
Sorry, but then I don't want to mess up 1 66 1 They also wait ranked 126 also in team sacks that ranked second.
Also, they're ranked 37 overall on time of possession.
That right third.
So they got 32 minutes and 27 seconds.
So their rank in the top three.
And when it comes to the American national rankings now, total offense that rank 12.
So you can not that good when it comes to offense above efficiency.
Now defense ranked 11 turnovers, marching his minus some um, 0.
60 on the ranked 11th in the conference and turnover margins and also 101st.
Also turnovers. Game.
Um, they're right there.
And, um, the American that's Yukon Onda.
Also fit before Also, um, we're looking at it, um, turnovers, loss.
Um, they're ranked well in the American conference and also, um, 106 in the overall ranking.
So if you see 106 and you wonder why that some that is that fbs Rankin's, that's not actual.
That's where they ranked in the country when it comes to, um, those plays made by on those football teams.
So that's Ah, that's why we break this down.
That to tell you to give you an in depth look on what some have these offenses progress and how these defense's progress.
So that is a, um, rankings.
Breakdown of UConn will give you a ranking breakdown.
Do that, Kelis began.
Get where we're still in the American Conference.
I will go ahead and break down a few.
Go ahead and do that.
We'll get spring shot set up so we'll have end up information.
I will go ahead and pull us up for you, but I hadn't go all way down, too.
Um, turnovers loss will scroll it, and we'll go over eternal with loss it was good There it ISS so it's gonna be a full pace.
We'll go over the break down there.
This is I'm like a sheet.
So we're just going over some stuff.
I will have it on the full screening job ever.
Still see me in the screen? See, that is 82% were trying.
Bag it up a little bit.
Looks like a low pile up.
You say pickers still say I'm a see if we could still see it.
No, but still shared.
I know. He's gonna let me know something.
You still could see it.
Let me, uh the colder at the colder.
What We know we have it on the screen shot.
Let me know if you could still see the the rankings of Stop.
We're going over to lane this time.
Kind of moving away a little bit.
So it's home I might have I might have to go.
So God, I just go over it.
75 on you could see it low 75 a little bit.
You could say I might have to move it around a little bit so he can see it a little bit better.
We could see that screen we may have.
We may have to do it like that so we could see it.
We may have constructed this way.
Everything's back on screen.
I'll just go ahead and do the best I can try.
Toe, show you what's going on.
I'll do it. I'll do it.
I won't go too fast.
I'm going too fast.
Please let me know.
But we don't want to have a problem.
Okay, let's go ahead and begin.
To Lane is ranked seventh in the third down.
Efficiency with Mom, 40%.
I like to see that production.
Go on with this offense.
We capped a week.
Also, um, third down defense to Lane is ranked temp in the American Conference in 94 overall, also in fourth down deficiency.
That's when the offense aside to Lane, it's ranked third.
So that's one thing I like to see when you get on fourth down.
Um, continue your drives if you go, so they're ranked third in the American Conference and also 24 24 now.
And, um, let's say, um, fourth down our defence two ladies drink six.
So they kind of getting up there with 42% and 53rd block.
It's they have one.
So they're ranked sixth in the conference of the getting attempt to block Point.
Yet on kickoff eater, uh, part now on fourth on first down, off.
It's ranked third It first down offense with 117.
Um, total first downs.
Also, um, 51st in the national rankings.
So it's nationally there.
51st and, um uh, 3rd 1st down defense to Lane is ranked 4 96 1st down.
So they give up 96.
When it comes to first down deficiencies on both sides of the football now scoring offense.
Uh, scoring offense is right. Six.
Um, yeah, for their rank.
For so excuse me.
Four, um, in a scoring offense.
So scoring offices for total defense is scoring defense. Six.
That's in the American conference.
So both teams, I would say that's a topsy turvy.
So it's a flip around I'm scoring offense is in the top five scoring defense.
It's in the top 10.
So that's not bad.
Having 21 points a game.
Um, when you look at it now, sacks alive would give you a sex allowed breakdown.
Okay, Sacks allowed, Um two.
Lane is right there and 28 nationally.
That's third in the American Conference.
And, um um, 20 eight nationally.
That's in the FBS level.
College football now passing efficiency.
Let's give you the passing efficiency numbers or K passing efficiency.
Two lanes range six with 138.
77 and also 20 63rd.
So 63rd in passing efficiency.
So now the next one we're gonna be looking at is, um, teen passing defense Gene passing efficiency, defense.
That's all the passing efficiency with the cornerbacks and stuff.
The ranked four in the American Conference on that side and champ overall.
So that got a good um um um, passing official seal on defense.
So they allow Onley 100 and five yards.
So okay, sacks team sacks will go over that once again.
Ah, loving two lane in the American Conference and 80 knife in the arm.
Um, national rankings Time of possession two Lane is ranked six.
Ah, and also, um, 50 sex nationally.
So six in the Conference 56 the NASA rankings with 30 minutes and 20 seconds 23 seconds.
30 minutes 23 seconds.
Team defects to Lane.
Dumb six with 344.
8 and also rate nationally, 44 with 344.8.
So that's the same number now.
Tulane averages some four and 68 yards a game.
Third in the American and 27 in the, um, FBS rankings.
Now, um, let's say, um turnovers gain, um, two lanes, right third in that area and 37 turnover margin.
Two lanes ranked second and, um, on the American and also 31st in the FBS, which is some d one football fbs football now.
Turnovers Lost two lanes.
They only have six.
Right, 34 nationally.
So 34th nationally.
What I am So I look at it just like this team's coming in.
This team on paper right now is Kana.
Good on some levels, but some of the other levels, they're kind of not that good.
So it's like a topsy turvy.
Like I said, topsy turvy situation.
When you go into a game, it's kind of a flip flop, but stuff like that.
So that's the, um right down that we're giving you here.
So switch that out.
So the issue your rankings right here.
This is from NC double late dot com.
Let's go to NC double late that or excused Nancy double or stats that dot org's stats that double that organ.
You want to look at the teams that that interested you in your college football? Um, error, where it's Michigan are a wherever you have you covered.
So So I'm I use these all the time to break down the because here I'm an analytic guy when we break down a lot of stuff and that's what we do on the show s O if you like.
I say you interested in this show? Do I know you don't know? A lot of people don't like stats.
Yeah, I mean, and that's understandable.
But a look that's that's part of the game right there.
So let's give you the, um, our production on the arm.
Wide receivers, quarterbacks and running backs.
And but to do that, give me a second to Swiss is over to Blaine.
We'll break down to Lane this in the second.
Okay? Why the quarterback on play? Quarterback play? Let's give you adjustment millions on game log stuff.
But to do that in a second, give you his game logs.
Its last few game Boggs.
Okay, Justin McMellon Crap.
Crap it. I'm a prophet.
Make it look like a nice low crop.
Everything by your so well, better you've ever see everything that goes on.
This is Justin Mellan stuff right here.
We're gonna focus on Justin Mellan Gates.
Justin MacMillan will pull it up one second.
I mean, I don't wanna wanna confuse anybody.
Someone give you, give you a low indepth look into screens.
Go ahead and do that.
I don't want to give you too much of a yes.
Just a big melon, John.
Dr McMillan's last few games.
Okay. Against Army.
He was some 15 of 21.
He had 201 yards in that game and one touchdown.
His rating was 1 67.
4 So he had a pretty good showing against some Army.
So he threw for 201 yards in that game also.
So I'll be honest with you if I want to see another production of UM, week by Dustin.
But Mel, I want to see that definitely out of him this week.
So let's give you his outline.
Numbers will give you his total numbers in one second.
Give you switch this out.
Case numbers right here.
Okay, it's numbers passing wise.
Um, he's thrown for him.
He's thrown six touchdowns on Lee got picked off twice and games.
He also runs the ball, so he's like a running back.
Ah, quarterback situation.
So he's like a door packin right there.
He's gonna run the ball, so yards from scrimmage will show you his yards from scrimmage.
He has 264 yards rushing. The football.
He also has 59 plays, so and he has a total of about 2 64 from scrimmage, so he's got a pretty good number.
Now. It's all purpose yards.
It's the same adjusted McMellon, um, in this two lane offense, so I look at it this way.
He's cm so offensive bomb unit right there for two lane.
Now, let's give you the running game, and we'll give you the running game on Different.
I'm gonna give you the running game in just a second.
Okay? Kion? How? What? I'm kind of low leery about him.
Hopefully, um, he threw 416 yards, but he did play two games.
I think he played against Houston, but I want to see what this guy can do once.
If he does get hurt.
I want to see what Cheon? How it could do, um, with the football on running the offense, but two lane.
So that's something I I want to see happen in this game.
If we run up the score, let's give you the running backs and give you the runningback breakdown.
Okay? Get out in one second and some what I'm gonna do, it's a sock, because sometimes spring is a kind of I'll give you the setbacks right here will give you the running back.
So do that in a second.
Let me kind of I like the ones that need okay, Um, mostly these guys, right here that I can't give you.
Talk about him in a second.
Let me pull this up on my screen.
Let's pull us up in my screen, okay.
See if I come back to simple little bit on one.
Go too fast when this caddy got it up on my screen.
Okay, there is Brad.
Well, I'm very pleased with Darius.
Brad Wells doing in this sum game last week.
Well, look at this game box in a few minutes.
Cori Dauphine as well.
Look, another back that we gotta count on. Right? That's Cory.
Also Justin McMillan now Maurice Jones.
I was impressed with Mauri Jones.
Martha Jones will look at his numbers and also, um uh, can Carol also tie J.
Spears? That's not a guy we have on our running back core, So I'll be honest with you.
That's no reason why Coach um Fritz says there's no reason why this doing football team can't be successful, so I won't get it this way.
Look, you got Brad.
Well, you got golfing.
He got McMellon and they also got, um and then you got? Step on, Hudson.
That's another guy, Joe.
He's got 11 carries for, um, 65 yards.
That's the thing right there.
But look, between those guys, I would count on, um, Bradwell on Dauphine to make those plays going in tow.
Those play, um, plays.
So Okay, let's give you the wide receiver corps about to do that canonical Darren.
Brad Wells game game.
Brad Wells, game log will pull it up in a second.
Brad was game log, give you, um, his game walk.
Okay. His game. Organ screen.
Had 12 carriage for 70 yards on.
Kind of pleased with that, Um, that gave him the ball 12 times.
Hey, had a touchdown in the game versus Army.
So that was last Saturday, so I'm kind of like I said that that's what I'm pleased about.
I'm very pleased on our production right there.
Okay, let's give You are not a guy.
Um, but that I'm gonna give you, um I'm gonna go Corey Dauphine cool with the core dolphins game lock and get his game walk up upon my strange.
We'll be ready to do the football.
Okay, this is this game block right here.
Okay, I got it right on my screen.
Dumping in the game, It gets all me.
He had nine cowards for 75 yards.
He also had a touchdown in the football game.
He also had a touchdown.
So I'm looking forward to see it with Delphine and Brad.
Well, could do versus you kind.
So now the last game against Houston, he had a carry, so he had eight carriage for 71 yards.
So he's got 28 carats right now.
He's averaging just over nine and 1/2 in games nine and 1/2.
But Cory, don't be so Let's give you are, Let's say no school.
Let's go to the other guy.
We're gonna give you a more Jones.
I want to see what a more Joneses numbers look like.
Can you go? Go. Omar Jones.
This is our guy right here.
This one of our backs right here.
He's got nine carries for 65 year olds.
He's averaging seven point, um, to yours for average.
So I say kudos to him and more junk, because look, Amar Jones can be used for, like a wide receiver tandems and running back tandem.
They could be used in those different ways.
Um, to tell you that.
So, um so that's a more Joan to give you.
One more we'll give you.
Um Well, kind of wrap this up.
We've been going a hour and 1/2.
Okay, let's go to, um, can Carol.
Let's give you can carry and also step on hottest.
And that would give you step on Hudson's game.
Walk breakdown would give you his breakdown.
Okay, He did not play against some Houston, so he kind of getting play.
He had five carries.
Get that off screen.
He had five hours, 55 yards.
He had a touchdown.
So he did not play against Auburn.
He did not play against some.
He played in Southeast Missouri State game.
Hey, had five carats for 33 that football game versus some, um, south, um, southeast Missouri State.
I was against Missouri State.
So So that's the deaths of things we're gonna have to look ball with, Um, in this game this coming Saturday, it's our running game, because if we can run that ball.
I mean, because you cause not that good mobile Young's which in I'm defending the run are defending the past.
They're kind of look like they last and they just kind of flapping around.
So I look at it this way.
This is gonna be an easy game.
Now, It's not gonna be an absolute easy game, t bear, because you can could come in and beat you Any team that's one and four.
Yeah, like they're like, ah, lying That's waiting to strike somebody, um, in the bowl when they mean And i'ma tell you if you don't get that up, you If you do those pre snap penalties, If you don't sustained your drives on third down, getting not gonna score, that's the thing about it. You will not score.
I mean, these people I mean, look there.
It's like a trap game.
I'm gonna tell you right now, sure to lane.
Right now, it's foreign one going into the some Memphis game, which is next.
They have to be more consistent in these games because they don't be consistent and games game at the game at the game.
Like Willie, friends said, You've gotta drown out the noise.
It sure you're gonna have people in your ear.
You're gonna people on social media saying on a two lane, all this scene could be better in a black, blah, blah, blah blah, blah, blah, blah.
No, we got the drowned off the noise after the end of the season.
When we go to the young bowl game, I go to the championship.
Then they all say all kind of stuff like that.
So But, hey, right now we're in the middle of the season.
We got to be more gets a point and Maur conception lto The room is ill.
Let's give you the point spread breakdown.
I'm about to do that.
Second, um, I'm gonna go over to, um What's that out.
I'm gonna go over to staff box.
Let's give you step box breakdown.
The second go step box stat box dot com.
Okay, We use stat box all the time breakdown to stuff like that.
This is like a game site.
We break down the football stop.
Um, let's give you their, um, game breakdown give you that week.
So my scroll down on would give you, um give you that.
Break down a back seat.
Can I give you the seat sheet in just a second? Katie.
Okay, you can in the road games.
Some will show you that racket.
You kind of road games going to last three games.
That Owen three Turk games.
Also conference games.
They want to get over to, um, that's in the game to Lane's favorite, but 35 point gain.
Two lanes favorite, but 35 point gain. Too late.
So sorry, but that I know it's a low annoying with these if something comes up.
So sorry about that.
Okay, I'm we'll break it down for you.
So? So it's a 35.
8 35 point outcome, but you can and too late two lanes of 35 point favorite.
Look, if to Lang could come out and, um, slow them down and not have pre snap penalties and stuff like that, I think they could win this game by maybe 40.
But on the one kind of over, Um, I don't want to kind of overbearing myself with that with that thing, so we'll give you the point.
Spread breakdown in just seconds.
Let me pull this back staff box.
Give me one second to go back to the extended match up.
I'll give you the point.
Point spread information.
Um, this is key information that we have.
We show you every time.
Okay, um, as an underdog.
31 points aboard.
You kind of go with 752 against the spread in all games.
That 5 24 and 10 and 19.
That's Yukon Line games.
So that kind of 24.
So the kind of 24 10.
So sorry, but that I know this notices some ridiculous, but I got to keep the poet so apologize for everything I know.
Same old, because I got the screen.
So let's give you another breakdown.
Okay, um, after playing, um, conference games to two and 13 straight up.
Five and 10 against the spread on tart.
There always seven and two and five against the spread.
Now, after a loss against a conference rival, they're one and 12.
They're not that good.
Not that good. When it comes to the point spread.
To be honest, witches, they're not that good.
Be honest with you, so I will be honest.
Now, the next game, we're gonna show you the next slide.
I'm going to show you in home games.
It's 11 and 4 10 4 at home against the spread.
But 11 and four straight up.
So good bracket there now in line Games to Lane is, uh, Jen and four last three seasons.
And also 10 and four, um, against the spread.
So tended four straight up and 10 for against the spread.
So that's what you look at when you when you do these debts and stuff like that, you goto your favorite sports book What you sell in.
I got some in Mississippi, Biloxi and all that.
You can go there and make that's from this game, so it's gonna be a 35 point game.
I'll be honest with you.
It most likely will be maybe a 30 I say between 24 30 point 20 and 40 point victory, but it's seen if they don't screw up in this game.
If they do screw up, that's gonna probably be reduced to maybe a 6 to 7 point win.
So So that's some my take on it.
This concludes the two lane breakdown.
We will have it Not, We will have the l s U break down this coming.
We'll have it on the sports time.
The water sports podcast tonight.
So if you want to come in, we'll talk about l s U vs Florida.

I mean, I know that that one on the computer is kind of he shot doing a five or six times.
So what? Show your social media pages and now and I'll see you later
