What's going on? Party People going on Part of people should boy famous again Here, back at the crib.
Coming to you live from sportscaster.
I'm coming from the young rash sports networks as well as the finish line podcast makes you follow us on Twitter have finished sports.
Um, what a game.
What? Again? I mean, let's just started there.
How do you stop an offense as explosive? It's Can City Chiefs, um, and hold them to 13 points throughout 4/4.
I mean, that's amazing.
The cold shot out Soon the great went on there in there, going into a bye week, so they'll be able to get some rest.
And hopefully a lot of guys that they get banged up, we'll be able to come back healthy.
But I mean, hell of a game on their side of you.
I mean, they did what they were supposed to do, and they came out with win.
Um, but this this sports cast their lives is gonna be all coats our chief's.
Um, today, uh, tomorrow I'm gonna actually come back and kind of talk about some other stuff about the rest of the games that that did happen I want to kind of talk about some fantasy.
Some fantasy guys that had really good games as well is like some some predictions about the next time these guys in the May end up facing off, which may be in the playoffs.
But again, shout out to the coast hard work, hard earned when definitely did what they had to do to be the team of the Kansas City Chiefs caliber.
Um, but it all goes back to what we always have said.
Where is your defense? And luckily, you know, there were.
There was a few times where, um, the coast could have scored probably more than what they did.
Some turnovers, you know, and not taking care of the ball.
Um, there was a one point in time where they just weren't punching it in.
There was it could have got some touchdowns in the red zone where they had to settle for field goals, but overall, they did have a good, solid game.
Um, I think the key factor of them went into game.
Had to be their running game.
I mean, he was a stud tonight, but also Nadeem Highs and Jordan Wilkins I mean, like, they all produce pretty well, but, uh, shadow tomorrow, Matt.
He had 29 rushes, 432 yards, pretty much averaging 4.
6 yards per rush.
Um, he also had a few receptions.
He was three for three at 16 yards, but it was a great effort on, um, you know, on this side of the ball for the coats.
When we talked about that running backs, they all were involved.
They all were happy to get whatever rushes and attempts they had.
And they ran the ball come, like throughout the entire game.
If you look at it like Nadine Heinz, he has seven Russians, you know, they spread the wolf against these.
Ah, against this chief's defense that is lacking in lackluster on the defensive line Right now, um, overall, like you, when you think about how they beat them, they place more football.
There was probably times in which Jacoby per se it probably could have started throwing the ball a little more and probably started getting t y healing into the game.
And, you know, Jack door area, Bron etcetera.
But instead they decided to be smart and do what was working, Um, and with Marla Magna.
Dean, not he. Heinz.
Excuse me, Um, and Jordan workers.
I mean, they they all did with that do.
And they used Heinz in the passing game a lot.
I think he had about five receptions about 45 yards.
So he did what he was supposed to do.
Um, it overall, when you think about this coach team, the guys that the teams that they played and teams that they won in the way that they have one, they're going to be a tough team to look at in a c.
I think the Colts are just as good of a team as Texans.
They both have the same record they're both through into at this point.
Um, when they face off, we're gonna be talking about them for, you know, a pretty good time.
Because I think the coast have so low expectations right now because of what happened with the Andrew Luck situation.
Andi, I think that's huge.
I think not having him.
Everybody kind of counted the coats out, but, you know, you have to realize I still have a solid offense.
They still have Jacoby Brissett, who actually is a Super Bowl winning quarterback, even though he didn't start that game, whatever.
But he has a Super Bowl ring.
He has that pedigree also has the coaching from Bill Belichick like he's been, um, in situations in which he can produce right.
So putting him in a situation where he has weapons, he has a running game.
He has, ah, really great offensive line, and he also has a defense that's being able to make some things shape.
This is given this, given the Coats the ability to really take, you know, take it on and take it far within their schedule.
So let's actually look at their schedule overall because, you know, going forward, this might be something where you know, when we start talking about after the bottle, we could set her.
And after that, like the Colts have opportunity to make a good another playoff run.
And if they do make that playoff push, I think that is long as they're healthy.
They'll be pretty solid.
Um, after the body come back and they play Houston, that would be a tough game.
I don't know if they're gonna want to lose that one.
Oh, it's a little late on this side.
Um, but Houston's playing lights out.
I mean, they just put 53 points up in Atlanta, which is huge.
And I think, um, when you think about the Colts organization going, you know, plan against Houston and they're they're gonna be a home for that game, um, they should be able to win if they can run the ball just as effectively as they did today.
You saw what Christian McCaffrey did to the Texas last week.
Um, but if they are able to do that, they could come away with a win next week.
After that would be at our at home versus Denver.
I think that's definitely a winnable game.
When Denver just won their first game against the charges that I wanted for the charges can get their offense together with him.
I don't think that'll be a problem for the, you know, for the coats.
Going up against them, especially being at home Jacoby Brissett In those guys, I think they'll be pretty solid.
So that's I mean, that's two wins right there that you know, too very strong possible ways that they could get.
Um and then you know they got Pittsburgh Steelers that that wouldn't be on the road.
But it's a very winnable game again.
This is something that they, you know, the Pittsburgh Steelers.
They don't really have an identity just yet, so we don't know how they're going to be.
Um, but, you know, we'll see what happens.
And then we've got after that.
They've got Miami and everybody knows Miami is pretty much about week.
We're not worried about Miami.
We're not worried about, uh, what they're going to do.
And when I say we I mean the coach, I'm not a coach fan, but I'm speaking as if I am at this point.
Um, they have a very winnable lt's, you know, rest of their schedule.
So well, you think about how well they play tonight against a team like the can City Chiefs.
It only it only shows you that there could be a lot more in store for this Coast organization and his team.
So I would love to see them do great this year, especially with everything that happened with air with Andrew luck, Um, I think it's just ah, it's a matter of, you know who's going to be healthy, who's going to be playing well and consistently.
They have to play well consistently because if they don't play well consistently, there's no way that they're gonna be able to be successful, especially in this league.
Because, as we all know, it all comes down to consistency.
Health as well as just being having your game, having your night. Some.
Some people just have their night, so you know you gotta play well, um, but let's look on the other side of this game.
Can City Chiefs definitely banged up on the defensive line.
Pat Mahomes didn't have that great of a game, but he did have a solid game.
He had 321 passing yards.
He had a touchdown.
Um, he did partially what he was supposed to do.
They probably needed more scoring from him, And I think if they would have gotten that scoring, um, it would, you know, we're talking about an entire different ending to this game.
But they did what other teams have been trying to do.
They put pressure on Pat Mahomes.
They put enough pressure on Pat Mahomes, where he couldn't do everything that he used to be right, and I'm not saying that, you know, he can't still be as consistent and do that.
Those things, I mean, every every game.
This year he's already passed for over 300 yards.
That's kind of that's not an issue for Pat.
My moves, The issue is the pressure.
I think he took three sacks tonight, Um, which is huge for that for that defense, because they don't usually.
I mean, they're not really getting to the quarterback that often.
And I think what we did see with the Pat Mahomes game today is that he has the ability.
If he's mobile enough and we know he was a little hobble with his ankle and everything.
But he has the ability.
If he's not as mobile, he looks very pedestrian.
He still has the arm strength, but he can't get out of the pocket.
Um, which the Coats definitely exploited.
I mean, they had those guys coming from everywhere and they just were beat.
Excuse me, They were beating their offense alive.
They were stronger, they were faster, they were playing harder and it seemed like they wanted to get to patent homes a lot more than an offensive line went to block happens.
Um, but, you know, I think it was a crazy, crazy, crazy, defensive minded game When you talk about the Indianapolis coast, they did what they were supposed to do, and they definitely shut down Pat Mahomes.
And when I say shut down, they made it.
Hey, they made him look somewhat pedestrian.
Like I said, he didn't have one of those 500 or 400 plus yards, three touchdowns, et cetera.
He did have 300 plus yards, but you only have one touchdown, and they were able to neutralize their running game.
They had one huge run or one huge, passin play with.
Let's try McCoy, and then that's when he fumbled.
You can't turn the ball over against Team like the coast where they were literally in the second half.
They had had the possession of the ball for over 17 minutes, you know, they literally took the ball, ran it and kept running.
And they continue to, you know, take care of the football.
I don't think they turned the ball over tonight, Um, which is huge.
When you're talking about a team like the coats, that's trying to be a team like pecan City Chiefs can.
Cities came into this game undefeated and they were at home.
They were feeling good.
The crowd noise was a lot.
Um, there was a few times in the game where I thought that, you know, this might get out of out of touch for the Kansas City Chiefs.
Um, are for the Coast.
If they cannot stop.
This can see the chief offense.
But they stood up to the task every single time.
Um, I've never seen at Kansas City Chiefs game with that many punts.
To be honest or with just that many changes of possession, the Chiefs have a way of kind of like blowing teams out.
And I think the coats stood strong.
Um, they took advantage early and they got such a quarterback early and they said down Ron LaSalle, McCoy, Damian Williams couldn't get me or Danny Williams couldn't do anything.
Um, it just wasn't there.
Game wasn't a game to win.
They needed to guys like me, Cole, Harmon, Robinson, Travis, Kelsey to kind of get involved and do more traps.
Kelsey kind of head.
I think he had three catches in the first half.
But after that, he kind of pretty much fell off the face of the Earth, which is just showing you like they played those guys.
Really, really Well, um, I know they didn't have the number one was saying We walk ins throughout the game.
I think he had gotten hurt sometimes some at some point.
I think he aggravated that hamstring issue that he was having.
But even even then, you know, when you look at the other guys on their team, they just didn't do that.
Well, I mean, Travis Kelsey had 10 targets, but at least um caught the ball four times for 70 yards, and the last few catches were the ones that gave him a lot of those yard or the the last. Cash is one.
Gave him a lot of those yards, so that's when they were trying to heat up, get to the end zone or at least get into field goal range toe, you know, make this game manageable.
Um, but overall, I love this.
I love this Kansas City Chiefs team the way they're constructed, but they have to get a defense.
They have to be able to stop the run because that's exactly what these guys were able to do.
They were able to run up and down their throats, Um, and there was nothing that they could really do in order to stop.
And I think as long as there's a team that is going to be able to run the ball effectively against them, they're not going to be successful when it comes down to the playoffs and after that, because once you get to the playoffs, you know everything kind of slows down a little bit and is more of a, um, there's more of a strategic game at that point.
And you, you've gotta be careful about how you're, you know, using the clock and how you're using your time outs and the way to end to replace It seems like he's the type Thio to really look at.
Ah, the big place.
He wants to have those big chunk yardage.
Those 30 to 40 yard plays on Deacon do that with this offense.
But the issue is, can you do it consistently? And when it matters most, when the playoffs come around and you have to play this coast him again and everybody's full strength.
Who's gonna be who who's defensive scheme is gonna be better than who's? Um And I figure to be, ah, something interesting to see coming out of.
Ah, you know, this his regular season.
Um, but again shouted to the cold shot six Jacoby Brissett.
He played a pretty decent game.
I mean, he didn't do anything crazy.
Good, but he didn't do anything crazy bad other than his one interception.
And, uh, you know, I think he kind of knew that that was gonna be a bad ball after he'd do it, But well, when you think about just him taking care of the ball, other than that one turnover, he played a pretty pretty good, pretty good time.
Um and I think the biggest thing to hit that I like that the coach were aggressive enough to take some of those chances on fourth down toe.
Let allow him to sneak for those you know, Fourth and warns or fourth ensures that, you know, that allowed them to stretch the ball game a little bit more as well.
A cz keep the ball in there.
You know, the possession of the time of possession in their hands and allow them to ultimately win this game.
So shout out to the coast, managed out to the cheese out there.
Hopefully everyone comes back healthy.
I want everybody to get healthy quick and soon.
I would love to see Tyree kill out there from the next me.
And if they do meet again, Um but again, like I said, great game.
Um, this is your boy famous.
