So we're gonna begin today's show with Southeast and break down South East and versus the Mac Mini State cowboys This coming Saturday, 4 p.m.
The game will be on **** sports television if you're outside the viewing area, Um, the ****s area like Wallens and stuff like that, you'll be able to get the football game.
But if you're outside the area, it will be on ESPN.
Plus it's $5 a month.
It's, um so it is not under my control.
It's under, um, the, um well, the conference control with stuff like that.
Um, let's go ahead and give you, um, what's begin? But what's up on the screen? I will have the same, uh, Frank's cell phone press conference.
Frank's cell for press conference will be up one on the streaming live, so we'll be having that in just a second.
So how's everybody doing once again? So we're gonna get get ready this and then we'll break down the Mac least we'll do the breakdowns right afterwards.
Let's go ahead and do the Frank's cell phone press conference from, um, Monday.
That was Monday, September 30th.
It was the last day of the month.
So let me go ahead and play this conference Press conference.
War that blocked the I can't get the press card.
Knowing the ads to disappear.
So Everyday's press conference up to the McNeese game, the going on the road.
This conference we talked about it all the time is, uh, it's a difficult chore for everybody.
And to be able to win on the road in this conference is really special.
So for us to get a win in Nacogdoches this past weekend was Oh, that was big as big force able to go to a no in conference play and put us in a position right now where, you know, again, we go on the road against Mac Knees.
I thought we played well, especially on offense against Northwestern.
I was pleased with my efforts.
Uh, we had ball.
We had four possessions in the first half, scored on three of them and then really got hot in the second half, especially the third quarter.
The uH way had some big plays.
We had some explosive plays and I think that's what that was a key for us in both the past and the run game.
And you always like to see that.
It's tough to drive 80 yards and 16 plays.
You don't see a lot of those.
So you want to make sense of explosive plays and we had a bunch.
I think we have tended to pass game and four in the run game.
So uh, that helped us out a great deal.
I think defensively made a couple of breakdowns in the game that led to two touchdowns, but other than that, I thought we played well on defense.
I thought we shut down the run game.
I think they ended up 23 yards.
Russian, except for the fake punt, was another 20 yards.
But I think defensively upfront we shut down the run game.
I thought the one of the big things going in was not allowing explosive place for them.
Then we're gonna complete balls which you didn't think completed what 33.
But we kept the explosive plays in a minimum, which means we tackle well and that was that was a key for us is to be able to tackle when they got the ball in space and that was we did a good job of that.
We affected the quarterback, we hit him.
We had eight tackles for losses and so we did affect him back there in the pocket, maybe move around a bit and get off his mark and I was happy to see that on the down side.
We had 13 penalties and so did no Western.
So I don't know if the officials were flagged.
Happy or not, Wave had 15 penalties in the 1st 3 games total and for us that 13 that was disappointing.
The three pre snap penalties, all on offense was bad and then we had 12 men on the field when the guy ran out there was supposed to be out there so those that there was a self inflicted wounds that we just can't have that.
I think I was a disappointment standpoint that took away some of minimum in the first half from us on both sides of the ball and then you don't allow them to stay in there, Uh, at times So we gave him some way.
Three passing affair DP eyes in a row on, You know, we question them all we want, but they got called, so we gotta live with that.
So we got to do a better job of, of working through receivers and things like that.
So when I look at that, when I look back at that game as many mistakes as we made in the first half with the turnovers and things like that, it was 17 17.
So even though it was a, uh, you weren't comfortable at the first half of the game was tied when went in at halftime, and we'll just make a few adjustments and settled down a little bit and we'd be fine, I thought were like I said, I thought we were playing well on both sides of the football.
The fake punt gave him the moment, um, and got him another first down and kept our offense off of the field after we had just stopped him.
One of the fumbles also took place.
We gave another possession off of that, you know, that's why that's the reason why we didn't have football much in the first half.
Moving forward to McNeese again on the road in this conference, we know how good they are at home.
That's one of the toughest places in this conference to play at, Um, I think defensively there, probably as good or better than anybody on our schedule this year.
There's the front four very active, good size, athletic, the linebacker, Same way I think.
The their front six is extremely active.
Their safeties get involved in the run game.
Frontin their safeties get involved a lot in the run game, downhill players really aggressive.
So we're gonna have we got our work cut out for us.
I think it's, you know, we've been going back and forth.
Old Miss was an odd front team, and then Lamar wasn't even front.
When we come back to an ID front now we're back in even front.
So, you know, I think the lines got their work cut out for him, but they're playing well, so I feel good about those guys.
Uh, effectively almost have struggled some, but they're Maur what you're going to see from them? Probably similar to what Coach Gilbert's got Baylor background.
So you'll see a lot of the same stuff that Baylor did.
Uh, and with that's gonna come.
A lot of our pose bubbles screens.
They'll take some shots downfield and then also try to run the football.
The quarterback or Dylan doesn't really nice job back there and running the outfits.
He's also does a good job of running with the football, take off and run and a lot of more designed runs. He'll just take off.
So we gotta be prepared for that.
I think running back to transform himself, Florida and really a powerful runner got good speed, got a chance to break something in one run games.
So they're they're group of receivers as a whole is the best group of receivers we've seen.
Now they don't have that one guy that just, you know, you say we got a double this guy, we've got to make sure I make all of across the board a pretty talented.
So, you know, it's it's they're gonna present for us offensively, give us some stuff that we haven't seen yet, but I feel good about us the way we're playing on defense.
of Sparta's adjusting some of those things.
And then defensively, you know, we feel like we're gonna have to run the football.
That's what I want to be able to do.
And then, you know, I think chasing again had a really good game against Northwestern.
He's got a stack, another one on top this week on the road.
But with that, I'll take some questions for you guys and one, I think it's our guys, the mental focus, and, you know, our guys just saying We're gonna play hard for 60 minutes.
You know, if you wantto you wanna be this play the whole game on and it's just it's not a 30 minute game and we, you know, we played.
We played nothing was 24 20 against Lamar at half 17 17.
So it's not like we're getting blown out in the first half.
I think that's a I'm not thrown up any bells and whistles.
There's not a uh, no panic or anything like that.
We're going in and half time, making a few adjustments and coming back out and play in the third and fourth quarter, which is what you have to do every week.
so I don't think it's There's nothing magical taking place.
I think our guys were just locking into what we're doing and feeling more comfortable.
Oh, because the game goes on and we're playing hard for 60 minutes, so that takes its toll on an opponent.
Also, if those guys aren't gonna, they're gonna take some place up, maybe that take.
Maybe they're taking place off in the third quarter because we're continuing to play hard, and so it's good to see that that trend.
But, you know, we're just gonna play hard for 60 minutes.
But there's nothing magical that's taking place.
You know, you said, You think, Reverend, how's it changed? Yeah, it's more 10 person out now.
They're not as much, hardly any 21.
But there are 11 and 10.
You'll see a lot of stacks, wide stacks.
You'll see bubbles if you watch Baylor.
A lot of years he was at Baylor with Briles and that that group and there's a lot of similarities in those two offensive.
So he's evolving to that.
That's what he wants to eventually get to.
You know, you can see that, so there's gonna be some growing pains with that, and they're not.
They're not in the smash mouth mode.
Get under center I formation.
They're not doing that anymore.
That's not that's not who you're gonna see when it when you play when watching this week, but on defense, that identity that they had as a hard nosed physical defense football team that's still there.
They're still doing that step.
How big? Yeah, you don't rob the injury situations just part of the game.
I mean, those happened and there's, you know, you prepare your players each and every week to play.
You prepare my altar play and, uh, when guys get an opportunity to take advantage of it, we talk about it all the time. It's nobody's.
There's nobody back.
We can do without me.
We could go without any player on the team and plug somebody else, and then we've got to be able to go.
I think recruiting has really helped us this past year when Ed McGee's catching balls and Kendall Collins is out there playing and Derek Turner is playing, you know, we got some younger guys that are playing Davion.
Nazari took a bunch of snaps the other night.
Herman Christoph Alex, whose are these all freshmen that we just got in.
Those guys are playing, contributing and doing well and so that's where the recruiting building up our debt, creating some depth.
Last year, if we would have gone into this game without the guys that we didn't, I'm not sure what would have happened.
I'm not sure who played, but this year we created depth and guys are buying into just play hard for as long as you can practice exactly what he's saying absolutely.
And it's some high in demand, that one about it.
It's absolutely high in demand.
So so I say what he's saying, it's true.
So let's go ahead and go back to what he was saying.
I'm tryingto get it back with Wait was talking so when we pull it back, but with screen, we'll go back stretch, that's what.
We'll go back to his press conference in just a second.
So I just wanted to reiterate what he was saying in his press conference, so creating some depth last year.
If we would have gone into this game without the guys that we didn't I'm not sure what would happen.
I'm not sure who were played.
But this year we created depth and guys are buying into.
Just play hard for as long as you can practice hard for as long as you can.
Let's keep developing them and let's see what happens.
So we had some guys step up the other day and really do a great job for us.
And it guys aren't ready to play this week.
Well, we got those, got some other guys coming in there ready to go.
As a coach, you want to get as many of these guys in the game so they can experience planning these games because we knew they were gonna get no Weston's best shot.
We're gonna get.
Mac needs his best shot, and our guy's got to be prepared.
So that's what we're doing right now.
We're preparing these guys for that.
Yeah, yeah, I thought so odd.
Really played well.
They probably took too many snaps that you truly I think he played 61 snaps the other day is probably a little bit too many.
We usually, you know, back him off a little bit and put Kendall out there.
But both of those guys I thought did a really good job and protection.
They both both of them both, um, did a good job running the football, getting downhill.
You know, Ron had explosive run right there to the end.
Kendall had one for the touchdown.
They make some good cuts, reads things like that.
These are guys that, you know, when you like.
I talked about when you have the opportunity.
They hadn't been getting the number of reps in practice because they want to start.
But this past week, terrible to get all the reps and you saw him grow.
Now they've got to continue to grow.
They got to continue to fulfill the whatever they got to do to stay on the field.
They got to keep working like they've been working and they put themselves in a position to do the house.
I was so happy to be able to watch those guys.
Okay, I don't want to say come of age, but contribute like they did.
That was that was awesome to just watch those guys do that.
What we're seeing in with some other guys at other positions, it's just the running back position is just one of those that people notice.
Like I said, head McGee, He's out there doing the things that he does.
I linebacking corps.
All those guys that contributed.
Derek Turner is a freshman in the second, a contributing, uh, try.
Smith played the other day, so we got.
We were playing freshman right now, and sometimes they get overlooked because their own defense on another position.
But we got a lot of guys in a contributor right now.
Would you talk a little bit about Josh Car a little bit last week? Where he came from? Did he actually changed position? It was just an adjustment from outside linebacker.
He's a defensive and he's been a defensive end.
He was last year.
We just changed the way we're attacking now with the front Raymond Monica's.
He's got those guys playing that way.
Getting up the feeling and getting into the back that we want to play on that side of the line of scrimmage is not on our side.
That's just a philosophical change that we made what was.
Josh has made the most progress in the weight room, you know.
He's put on about £25 since last year, It's all muscle.
He's still a lean guy, so he's able to exert more power, still maintain his athleticism, his ability and rush the passer and things like that.
But because he's got some more muscle, he's able to hang in there longer, play longer.
He's got plays defense. He runs down on kickoffs.
You know, he does a few things for us, but he's playing well right now.
I think I've been Han Isaac on the opposite sides.
Give us, um EJ pressure that, you know, we're fortunate after half.
Yeah, with okay, Yeah.
All of these guys should be on practice this week.
There will be game time decisions just like, well, every week, you know, it's, uh, we'll get a much practices.
We cannot of him, and then we'll go into Friday before we leave and say Who can come? Who can contribute? Who can help us win and who can? If you can help us win, you'll stay here and watch it on TV.
If you can load the bus and let's go so way don't bring anybody that can help us when we need guys that can help us win and those guys that make the trip What is considered business trip for us? It's not a We don't reward guys just for being good. Guys.
We want you to be a good player and take care of your business in the school classroom, things like that.
And come help us win a game.
No, you know that to me, that's hard, because I don't think we missing anybody.
We brought 66 guys and we play.
Then we want Wade.
You know, we just, uh, all these guys have played before, so they just took more snaps.
They got extra wraps, you know? So, uh, it is what it is.
You know, you can't You can't sit around complain about what you don't have.
Sometimes my wife does that, but I don't just let's move forward, man.
You know, our conversation last this leak service is gonna be a little Yeah, yeah, yeah.
You know, where it's good is that he knows his knowledge of the players.
So talking to him, we spent offensive staff talked to him yesterday.
Obviously, in sharing is knowledge of what's going on.
Carrie Joseph talked at defense of staff to give inside on the offensive players.
So that's where the big that's where we'll get some insight, the schemes of the schemes, you watch him on film and that they are what they are.
But to be able to find out more about the personnel, what what affects them? What's their strengths, weaknesses, things like that.
That's where he's been really valuable for it.
This isn't about him.
He'll tell you This isn't about South Eastern techniques.
It's a bitter rivalry.
Some think this is a big A rivalry that Nichols game.
So it's a big game for us.
That's not It has nothing to do with him.
If you ask him he's not gonna talk about.
He's just talking about what he's able to do for us to give a chance to win.
And like Charles on Saturday, recruiting is the only advantage that we have.
But everyone who counts the same in the record books.
So, uh, when it comes to recruiting and we're going up against yeah, you get an advantage by playing while on winning the game in the conference standings, they don't look at in state, I'd state that doesn't matter.
It's important for us to win this game for the conference championship.
For us to be able to get to where we want to go and then, you know, it's it's obviously it's most important game because it's the next game we're playing.
But the opportunity again to go into a hostile environment and went on the road is critical in this conference.
Because if you do that man, you get judged a huge advantage of everybody else to be able to do that.
Make me went overto Abilene Christian She earlier in the season and really outplayed him when you watch him on film.
Really outplayed him and then just couldn't pull it out.
One on the road in this conference would be able to get a win.
And Lake Charles this weekend is huge for us.
They got him over the doctor right now.
We'll find out about him either sometime this afternoon or maybe first thing in the morning.
It was in the Yeah.
So we'll find out.
You know, his prognosis or whatever.
That word prognosis.
Yes, we're going conference.
They're down Conversion.
That that's got yeah, what I think it's a result of our players understanding what want to do.
Being situationally smart.
We spent that way and we do it all the time now.
But we really spent off season this summer helping our guys become or have more situational awareness is down and distance and places on the feeling.
What teams like that dude in certain situations.
And I think our offensive guys, when it comes to third down conversion, have really done a good job with the expectation.
It's third and medium.
Here's the five or six plays that we carry it on third medium and they know what they are and they know what to expect from the defense.
And I think a lot of it has to do with how chases playing.
But also it's all our guys knowing what our expectations are in that situation and working through it during the course of the week.
I think offensive staff, it's really done a good job preparing our guys.
But our players are the ones that you don't have to go out on feeling do it and the communication process really been good.
I think that's the reason for where we all turned down Convergence, you know that you're talking about a little bit, but like all the rest of their city injuries on road, I think so.
I think you know, you look at it.
You went on the road.
It's so big just to be able to do that.
But I've been talking about I love this team.
I love the way these guys play.
The way the operation takes place, man, they don't Like I said, you're gonna be this.
You better play 60 minutes because we're gonna play 60 minutes were proven that butt.
And what's happening is that the more we're playing, the more confidence we're getting and that confidence is spreading throughout our team.
It's a we're getting.
We're getting more, more close knit.
We get more Maur of Ah ah, Bond within offense and defense, if one struggling and the one side of the ball struggling, there's no finger pointing anything like that.
These guys are growing together.
So is there confidence level? Yeah, there's gotta be a confidence level.
But I think there's a a level of awareness that if we just give good effort all the time for 60 minutes thinks it can happen to us.
I told him after the game, If you wanna win, you better play 60 minutes against this.
Don't play 30 and say, Well, that's good enough.
We're gonna go in half time, and then we'll be fine because we're coming back out.
We're gonna play the second half, and we'll see how you hold up looking.
What? What? Yeah, I think it starts with the quarterback.
You know, he has a lot of movement from him.
Him taking off, running, throwing the football, getting out bubbles.
We gotta tackle well again this week because of what they're gonna do.
But I think the key for them is gonna be the running back. I think he's fast.
He's got a chance to break a run on DDE That always worries.
You know, when somebody gets a run game going, they get some momentum going, and that's a tough deal to stop defensively.
And when you look at all the defense categories, that probably they're higher than us in almost every category.
So they're playing better defense from a numbers standpoint than we are.
And then the other thing for them is that the turnover margin.
You know, the second conference.
Internal margin. We're last.
So I talked to the staff today.
We gotta get that thing flip.
We gotta take care of the football.
And then we got to go get something, some turnovers.
So I want to be able to do that.
And I think that's where you know the problems.
Some of the things when you look when you really look at the statue, what really matters those some of the things that you know that matter for us.
Good. Thank you guys. Appreciate it.
Okay, I have a really great with the set, and it's you have to take care of the football.
That's the main.
Um Um, that is the main thing we have to do is take care of football and then let's go get the ball on defense.
Let's go get a turnover.
That's what he's telling you right there.
He's telling you, Done.
He's not showing it out because he wants that.
Tell you that because the coach speak? No, Uh, you gotta do those things.
You kind of take it at the football on offense and also get turnovers on defense because their last in, UM turnover margin for Southeastern matinees is second in the conference internal market.
That's one thing we have to do going into this football game this coming Saturday afternoon when we play em.
And like Charles, so that's some How's everything going? What's up? How you doing? What's up A.
How you doing? We're talking about Southeastern footballs.
If you're If you're not familiar with Southeast Football's football is a predominately division one Double A school.
C s school here in Louisiana.
It's located in Hammond, Louisiana.
So and also the match.
These cowboys as well.
They're on Division one F, um, one double a school as well.
So we do these breakdowns every single third way.
We do these breakdowns every single way.
Do these breakdowns every single.
So what drops this down? Sorry, but that I don't have to be here in 20 times.
That does it all the time.
So, um, so we're gonna be breaking down what happened last week? Southeast and back alleys.
Last week it played the same Houston bear cats.
So they did lose 28 to 17 will go over that game for you.
It's up on the screen game recap.
Give me one second, um, to switch it.
Wait, knowing the switch over.
So if you're sire, but the low because it's sometimes the SportsCastr on the website.
Um, so let's give you the last week they did.
I lose to mak me back.
He's lost to Sam Houston, 28 17.
Ah, in that game, McNamee said.
That's what they had.
They passed for 280 yards, but they ran for 30 eights and ate their arms.
Their running game wasn't that exciting in that game.
Birds of Sam Houston and I could tell you that right now that was the one now with 38 towards Russia.
Um, on third, Dale's Maxie's was in the game with 4 15 and they gave up seven of 20.
So it's like I said on third down, Um, if you give him if you, um let him give up seven for 20 bucks, they're not that good.
They're not good on third down.
So that's what we're looking at right here.
So this is so this is the We'll give you the box score when we go ahead and put my arms stats up one here.
So tell you what happened.
Okay? The score place.
I'm gonna go over to score place.
Um, um, line by line in the first quarter, back east to school in the 67 yard pass from OSHA, Iran that was on two plays and 67 yards.
17 seconds off the T o. P.
And, um, match these cowboys.
Um, Sam Houston came back with a 21 yard pass play.
Um, six plays, 84 yards, two minutes and 14 seconds.
He's made it 14 to 7 on, um, six play in 69 yards.
Down from owes Iran.
Um, but Hudson, 27 yards away, made it 14 7 Maxie's gave up a safety that was six yards safety.
So in the end zone with 14 to 9.
Um, but, um um Sam Houston State at a 61 yards past play for touchdown, it was on five plays in 89 yards.
They used five plays in that game.
Now, Mac, please kicked the field goal.
That was on 10 plays in 35 year old.
So that was **** on Bailey hits a field goal Now Sam Houston kind of took over this game.
Um, they went on an 18 play, 73 yard drives with a 12 year touchdown pass.
That was at the 11 13 mark in the football game.
Now, um, let's see.
Um, Sam Houston's last school was on a three play, 43 yard drive.
Three plays and 43 yards took 59 seconds off.
The GOP made a 28 to 17 Sam uses, so they gave up some scores right here.
They definitely gave up scores.
Um, if you asked me for the, um, Maxie's Cowboys, let's give you what, what they get on when they drive somewhere and we'll pull it up.
Can you drive? Summary Survive Summary begins like death.
They had a punt that was some first on the drive.
Someone six plays, 22 yards.
They had a field goal with jumped six place, 18 yards.
The two play 67 George Drive with on what's in the first quarter.
Then they punted again.
Night play free place, nine yards.
So and then they put it on off four plays of 15 yards.
Um, on an interception that was on the defense of touch.
That was one of the defense of touchdown.
Um, So with six plays and 69 yards to the Maxie's cowboy, um, also, they put it on a free place and nine yours.
Once again, I took one minute, two seconds off T O P.
Which is time of possession for short.
I'm getting my parentheses.
Okay, Um, the safety happened on to place and minus four yards.
And then second quarter, they did, But that was on three places to yours.
Same thing in the third quarter.
Replace one yard.
And then in the third quarter, today at the front, they put a lot of times in this game.
They put it a lot in this football game.
Birthday save you some bear cat.
Um, they kicked the field goal that was on 10 plays in 35 yards.
Now they had an interception.
That was on, um, two plays and minus one yard to plays and minus one yard.
And then that last play on six play 41. Your drive.
They had an interception so the drive ended on an exception.
So So I look at it.
This wife, if you could get Mac, needs to put in games like that, get him a three and out.
That would be perfect right there for this football team because you've got to get off the field on third down.
That's what he's saying in these conferences, downs and distance, 1000 distance of very important, because look, if you don't get off the field on third down, you're going to continue.
And defense is definitely going to get tired.
That's up right there.
But they're trying to cut clamp down there, sees it, and nothing there.
Trying to clamp down on one is pretty snap penalties, because once you get those pre snap penalties, you're gonna continue to do it over and over and over and never learn your lesson, not get those priests that penalty.
So that's the important thing is to stop doing the pre snap penalty like the whole grains and the passing appearances and stuff like that, and and this ticky tacky stuff that just some get drives a coach absolutely crazy.
So let's give you the actual team stash will pull them up on my screen last week back, he said.
14 1st out, they had 12 on passing.
Well, first down on past, they got most of the first round's on passes on the Maxie's Cowboy, now running the football.
They did not have a good running game.
I'll be honest with you.
That was just such a suck ass, um, running by the maxi State Cowboys.
Against some Sam Houston's defense, they only has 27 carries for 38 yard.
They absolutely held him.
Their defense absolutely held him 27 38 yards on 27 carries.
Now, throwing the football, Um, Mackey said.
280 yards passing.
That was in that game versus Sam used to state, and there was 18 40 passing day to intercept in a football game.
They had absolutely two interceptions, but they had two touchdowns.
So now the total your it's a bomb offense.
They ran 67 please.
The defense was going to feel for 84 plays.
Now, Now tell me something about that now.
Is that, um, silent beauty, or is that not playing defense? That's some.
That's what we're saying right there.
So? So I look at it this way.
Look, if you can run, I don't care if you run 90 plays against them.
You got a tired.
You gotta wear the defense out.
You've got the wear, their defense.
That's the That's the, um, we have to do toe win this football game versus Maxie's this coming Saturday now penalties.
They only had four, apparently.
So they kind of, um, limit their penalties.
They limit their penalties now.
They had to put nine times in a football game.
So now in the third in the fourth Duncan person that they didn't convert red zone efficiency back niece was one of one exactly what they gave up.
Um, they have won, but they gave up pre sack on.
So they have one sack.
Yo, it's so so That's what we're showing you right there.
But show you what happened with the individual stats and we'll pull him up on my screen.
OK, er Sharone had two touchdowns with sacks three times, So that's the reason why show that some the son of a coach at er Jerome And I know it's, um I know.
Uh, he went over there and saw his son played football for Mac niece, and he kind of was not happy about that.
But hey, look, that's the game.
Um, son Cody Orgeron.
Um, I had on I love Paris with 17 yards.
He wasn't effective in the running game.
There was absolutely effective, but they didn't have a good running game to be island switching.
They had a very absolute, um um **** boys running gained.
Poor running game versus the, um, Sam Houston State.
So? So, um, why would receive a cord so that the main guy was catching the ball with some See Ryan Sutton yet 10 catches for 1 60 He had one touchdown.
Also Drake showing, um, Hudson had one touchdown as well.
Yet, um, now the defense, the side of the football.
Maxie's only had one.
But the sack, yo, it's only one guy, one guy in a sack on that with some CJ *****.
Hey, had one for eight yards.
Felt one for eight yards.
I don't want my hands get.
So that's, um, that's the defense performance by the ah Maxie State Cowboys.
I once again I'm gonna tell you this game right here.
Look, they gave up, so we'll give you the young breakdown.
Oh, Maxie's I'm about to do that.
One second give you on.
And then and then that breakdown on them, I'm gonna get the staff or Maxie's will pull it up one second.
Tell you how they look going on paper.
Okay, That's what we're showing you on the screen, Mac.
Niece and third down. Convergence.
That right? 100 22nd nationally in 11th in the conference.
And that's not good on third down.
So they're not that good.
I hate to tell you that.
I mean, if we can get get him off the field 1/3 down, that would be a perfect example right there.
I mean, because we're showing you the stats right here on the screen.
Now on third down defense match.
Niece is in the top five in the conference, but right, 61st nationally.
So they ranked 61st nationally and fifth in the conference.
That's the Southland Comp now on fourth down conversions.
They're not that good at all needed.
There are 11 in the conference in 113 overall, and on fourth down defense.
That's another thing right there.
So and not so good.
Not excellent. Oh, no.
Some third and fourth down, Um, both offensively and defensively.
Now let's give you the, um, first down offense.
I'm about to do that. One second.
First offense must show it on my screen.
First offense, right.
Um, with 77 1st sounds, they also ranked 73rd in the national poll.
So naturally there, 73rd.
But their test that next.
I think their next to last in those first down offenses.
That's one thing about it, Um, so that next the last rate gets to them near the bottom.
I hate to say it there near the bottom in the conference.
Um, also, let's see passing offense.
I'm the right step of passing offense and but do you have a little cold? I'm having? It's 78 brawl 78 nationally and one hurt temp overall in the Southland Conference when it comes to passing offense now, um, scoring offense.
Let's give you the scoring offense to break down.
Okay, scoring off.
It's a breakdown on the right step in, Um um, in the Southland Conference with 18.
4 and ah, 100 seconds.
So they're not good in scoring offenses, while they only scored 18 points a game.
Um, to be honest with you, they only toward 18 points a game, but a match? Any state Cowboys? Now let's give you the running game offense.
I'm about to do that.
The running game from about one second.
Okay, the running game.
Now that's run defense.
Pull it up to here.
Okay, Run the run offense.
I got it on my screen.
So if you see it right there, run offense.
They ranked seventh in the conference with 136 yards total and also 70 seconds nationally.
So that left so there, Right now, I'd say they're they're in the top 10 When it comes to Russian rust in the football.
That right in the top 10 now run defense was given a run defense of breakdown.
Okay, run defense of breakdown.
There, right forefoot run defense.
So they're in the top five when it comes to run.
Be fat with 100 19.
6 yards a game and 31st nationally for the Mac Mini State cowboy.
So that's the young breakdowns right there were giving.
Okay, The red zone offense.
They're right night with 68% in the red zone.
That's a knife in the Southland Conference.
Also, that rake.
Um, 102nd nationally there wanted second nationally, but knife in the Southland Conference.
But he max these cowboys now on the wrestle defense, Let's give you red zone defense of breakdown.
Um, so this is very impressive back pieces, right? Third in the Southland Conference Center in the top three.
So they got a pretty good top three defense right there in the red zone.
Whip, Um, 78% the rank 39 in the nation that's in the F.
So I'd be honest with you.
They got a good red zone defense.
Top three without a shadow of a doubt.
Top three, um, red zone.
Now let's give you the passing efficiency from acne smack Nieces ranked eighth in the, um, Southland Conference with 118.
Right, 82nd indium national poses.
Now passing efficiency defense.
They're ranked seventh in the Southland Conference.
That's about the Max East cowboys that ranked seventh.
Um, they also right 94 nationally in those conferences.
That's this is thes of the stats from the NC.
Double labouring it.
These are not fake fake news.
Stats and stuff like that are phony stuff like that.
So team offense.
Let's give you the team off that the team offense.
They're ranked 11.
And, um, once again 11th in the Southland Conference with 329.
2 and all right, 91st nationally.
Now the team, right? 91st nationally, knave. A team.
All right, 91st.
So sorry, but that I mean, I know it's I know it keeps doing that.
We're apologized for that.
So, um, I had to turn that off.
So okay, team defense, they're right for giving a 414.
But, um actually state Cowboys and 67 in the national rankings, they're they're right for in the Southland Conference, a team B pat, but 67 naturally.
So now turnover margin, They're right.
Third in the Southland Conference.
So they write third.
So that's what Coach um cellphone was saying that right? Third in the Southland Conference, So they got good turnover margin right there.
Now they're right, 26 nationally.
But I'm gonna tell you if you could get turnovers on the Mac bees office because that they're not They're not that good.
I'll be honest with you.
I'm not that good when it comes to, um total.
Um, when it comes to different categories, we gotta look at these things, But they're red.
They're good in the red zone that they're in the top five red zone that they were in the top five.
Read some, and they're in the top five.
I don't know why I keep doing that.
Sorry, but that folks I mean, I don't know why I keep doing it.
The computer side will apologize for that.
So So I'll be out of with your watch.
Once again, they are ranked in the top five in the red zone.
But the truth of the matter is, if you could get him in the three and out in the red zone, make him kick field goals, that would be That would be a plus right there.
So once again, I'm sorry for the low.
The thing that's on sports gas are really looking at that.
So, once again, this is the breakdown Okay, um, tacos belong doctors.
Um, Maxie's is ranked seventh in attack with the law with 5.6.
Also, that right, 77.
Okay, in time of possession, Mac nieces rank six in the conference and with 29 minutes and eight seconds and also 77 and, um um, nationally.
So I kind of look at this team.
I say, what if you could get if you can get a win up? These guys, I'm pretty sure you can.
I mean, you got you got you got to get those on scores.
You got to get those scores, because that's important.
If you don't get those scores, I guarantee you you're not gonna have another opportunity at it.
So So this is for the Mac Mini state cowboys.
Will we bring dip breaking down fire.
So Okay, anybody has questions about what I'm talking about? Um, with the Maxie's cowboys Southwest Airlines, you could post your comments.
Here are questions Be, um, the SportsCastr chat room watching me right on my phone, so I don't want to watch you on it on the computer.
It's kind of shows those things about five or six times, so we don't and we have a mess.
So So that's what we're breaking down today.
South Beach in football on Max.
Knees will give you South Beach break down.
Well, but to do that in just a second when he pulled us up and my screen.
Okay, we're gonna break down the entire Southeastern breakdown, so we're gonna give you a break down right here.
Okay, let's begin on scoring offense.
A student at the start with scoring offense.
Um, now we're with South Beach of Lines, Southeastern trying third and scoring offense with 38.
3 and also 12th nationally.
So that's excellent for the South Beach in football team.
I like to see that Even Maur progress now scored defense.
I'm gonna keep my arm scrolling down.
Okay, South pieces rank fifth and scoring defense.
And also, that's in the Southland Conference.
So, um, and a 59th overall in the scoring defense with 28.
8 points a game.
So that is, um, what we're talking about.
How is everybody going? Okay, um, in.
I mean, thanks for following us today.
We're breaking down the Southeastern lying to the Maxi State cowboys.
The big game this Saturday on ESPN Plus and also **** sports television.
So if you're in that area, you can watch the Southeastern football team take on the maximum state Cowboys.
Um, okay, let's give you the red zone offense.
Red zone offense.
Southeast right first and Southland Conference.
Also 64 brawl with 93%.
So that's excellent.
I like to see that production in the red zone now.
Red zone defense selfie since right tip with 85%.
So they gave up on the 85% that are in the top five when it comes to um, Red zone defense.
I would like to see us be number one, but it's not gonna happen in real life.
So 72nd and the national rankings as well.
So let's give you the running game.
I'm going to give you the run run game.
South polices run game like a thin the conference, so it's kind of, um, nearer at the maybe at the middle Top top 10.
So a pin the running game with 130.
3 yards a game and drank 75th nationally.
So that's in the NC double a side now on the run beef that Southeast. That's right.
Thirds and its third best running defense in the Southland Conference, Um, and 20 night bum.
In the national rankings, some South pizza gets up 116.
3 yards a game and, um, running the football, um, or defense aside.
Now, let's give you the passing offense.
Are passing offense.
Southeast is ranked on third.
So they got the third best passing, um, offense And on the Southland Conference, right knife and the national rankings up with 319 point pray yards per game now passing.
Oh, it's allowed.
I'm putting my, um so I could show you right on my screen passing.
Oh, it's allowed Southeast right temp in the passing yards, alive with 322.
3, uh, 118th overall.
So Okay, let's give you the team passing efficiency.
I'm gonna do that in one second.
Okay, Chris, You see, I'm going to do that in one second, okay? Did you see I'm gonna do that in one second.
I don't like keeps doing that.
Sorry, but that Sorry, but that I really apologize.
Every time I try to, um, do it only josie about maybe about six times plays about six times.
So I apologize for that.
So get back to what we were talking about.
Okay? Was talking about passing efficiency.
I'm before we got.
Okay, um, Southeastern is right.
Second, passing efficiency with 1 61.
6 and also 50 pin the national ranking.
So, second in the conference, passing efficiency and 50 bum overall.
Now, in thine passing efficiency defense Southeast.
Six in the Southland Conference with 1 39.
5 um, 77 um, team past 50.
See, I'm on the defense's side of the football, so I'm looking at these numbers right here.
I'm looking right at these numbers.
Okay, on first down offense, let's give you the first offense.
A bum production on first down South pieces, right.
Seven with 94 1st sounds on.
And, um, and the overall ranking.
So seventh in the conference 44 in the, um, national ranking.
So on first down, defense, let's give you that on the screen.
I I have, um, on a screen. Okay.
Southeast is right.
Third in the conference and first down defense with 93.
So that's not bad.
I like to see that officious.
See? Right there.
Um, when you look at it now, um um, sake, Um, first down, defense nationally is rake suffering.
So the third best.
So right now, I'm gonna be honest with you.
That door pretty well on the third down on those birds down defense's That's the biggest.
Um, plus, it's right there.
I'm looking at on these time third down efficiencies and our first standoffish Excuse me.
Now let's go to the third down.
Okay, Third down efficiency.
Southeast is right first.
Outstanding in on the conference with 29% and, um, 17 nationally.
So So that's something.
We're making some progress on the third downs and distance.
That's the thing right there.
Now, third down defense.
Southeastern drank seven with 40% so they kind of like, um, in the top 10.
But I look at it this way.
It's kind of, but if you could get off the fuel on third down, that would help.
Um, now fourth down efficiency.
That's on the offense of side once again.
But southeastern um, they're right.
Um um, let's say knife in on the Southland Conference with 42% and 71% naturally.
Now, um, defensively on the defense, the size of football Southeast.
Right? So they're in the top five when it comes to, um, those officials sees those down distance proficiency.
That man is right there.
Um, dip with 44%.
And also, um, 46 and, um, fourth down defense.
Now, let's go over to the penalty.
Let's give you the penalty breakdowns.
Okay? I'm penalties Fuel fewer penalty selfies to strike third in the conference with 28 um, and 62nd overall.
Now your penalty for a game.
Part game Southeast is right.
Fifth in the arm.
Southland Conference and 74 put fewer penalties for game.
So that's like left.
Now you if you if you view with fewer penalty yards So So I look at it this way.
Now let's look at the young going to the turnover marching.
That's the biggest, um, thing they stress every time when you look at the the sheets and stuff like that, Southeast is right.
Turn of a margin. Look, we've got to do better.
Taking care of the football we got to do battle cannot sit there and allow defense is to get the ball from us.
We got to take care that football and also on defense.
We got to start getting more turnovers to be efficient on those areas.
So that's that's, um, everything.
That's priority one right there.
When you're on offense, take care of the football or you're on defense.
That's on the turnover.
So So that's the breakdowns we do right here every Thursday.
Southeastern it break down. It's called Southeast.
Okay, let's give you, um we just broke down there.
So we'll give you the Siri's history on this game.
Okay, Serious history.
Sleep the serious 24 to 20 Southeastern least a Siri's and Hammond 14 to 7.
Um, Maxie's Lisa syriza like Charles 17 ***.
So, um, fantasy.
Okay? Last year they finished for seven, South reaching.
It's our three and one on the season.
So Okay, this is the depth chart going into the football game.
So we're showing you this on the screen.
If you're interested.
I got a question about this about, um, you can send me a question through the SportsCastr chat room.
This is the game notes right here.
This is the depth chart right here.
So I'm gonna go ahead and give you some information, Maur breakdown information.
Okay, Um, that's what we're showing you right here.
Tasting burger was fifth in the incompletions.
Also chasing burger with second.
And, um um, total your offense maximum of seven games.
Um, second, now passing touchdowns.
Chasing burger was right thumb.
Um, four on the young team.
So also kickoff.
Petite Pereira Lisi Kickoff return.
The speech there for them.
So we're gonna scroll down.
So what? What else we could talk about here? I got everything on the screen.
If you want to talk ex me a question about it.
You can, um, give me, um this is some game.
Knows some information right here.
We're showing you.
The next game for Southeastern after this one is going to be, um, say it's going to be after this one is going to be you.
I w that's gonna be the next breakdown Will have next Thursday here on this show.
Um, so So that's all breakdowns and stuff like that from Let me give you some stats. on.
Some players do that.
Okay, let's give you some individual numbers.
Okay? Would give you some individual numbers on.
Okay, Um, Elijah. Elijah.
It's when they're running back.
Averaging four point A.
Also, Cody owes Iran is also there.
Wanted that ball carriers of Wow.
So I'm gonna be honest with you.
We gotta we gotta contain, um Cody or is ruined because he is a runner, and he may be a passer as well.
Now, the next guy is Justin Price.
He's another guy.
He's carries 454 yards, so they got some good stop running back when you look at this running back or pretty, um, Max, these cowboys now let's give you the passing.
Okay? Cody urged.
Iran has ah, completion percentage of 54%.
He has eight touchdowns and five and acceptance his quarterback rating as 1 21.
1 This at a guy I don't know.
He only started two games for, um, Max Keller always started two games.
He's not a factor in this offense, but Cody are.
Huron will be now the main guy.
It's catching the football.
That's one that he's got three.
Um, travel big B B G u E Hey.
Has three touchdown dances.
Well, um, the Andre Hicks says it's another guy that they rely on and also Drake going, Um um, Hudson.
Also, they rely on some of that Y ver see, was this? Um um no, don't don't give it to some of those wide receivers, this stuff like that.
But domain guys are going to be the threat for the Mac Mini State Cowboy's Sutton be and, um, be Andre Hicks.
And also Trey Shaun Hutson that catch the football put down.
So let's see what else on now? The defense of guys they have They have 11 sacks in the season, so they may sack leader on the football team is say, CJ *****.
He has two sacks in the game.
Also, Chris lived 11.
Um, Levin's saying his name right.
He also has two sacks as well, so they only have 11 sacks as a team.
So So I look at it this way, this game right here.
If South Priest could come out the gate, Mike, take it against some, um, Northwestern state.
Get four possessions out of those possessions.
Get a touchdown.
That's the day we got to get those such stands early and often.
Because if you don't get those such sounds early and often, guess what you're not gonna get those possesses back.
So that is the biggest t to go into this game this coming Saturday.
So, uh, if they can do it, take eliminate the pre snap Pelly and, um, and do what they have to do run the football and throw the football.
I think, for one thing, for one instance, I think they could win this game And, like, jump because they haven't won since 2013 over there, like Charles.
So that's some maybe about six years ago.
Six, 5 to 6 years ago.
So they're gonna have to get a win over there.
If you're gonna be a conference champion in this league, you got it.
You got a win on the road.
So, um, I look at it.
This I'm looking forward to seeing We will have the recap on Saturday after the game.
We'll talk about it and stuff like that.
Um, we'll have the that.
Well, what? Well, um conclude right after the game, so we'll have it right after the game.
So we also will have l s u and two lane recaps stuff like that.
We'll talk about those games as well.
