What's up, everyone? This is Pat Harry from Yard Barker, and we're talking about the NBA's Most Valuable Player award.
Now that you've had a chance to read about each candidate's M V P narrative, let's talk about which players gonna actually take home the hardware this season.
I think that Steph Curry and Anthony Davis are the two players in the best position to win the award.
Heading into the season, Curry will be relied upon to score like never before without Kevin Durant or Clay Thompson for most of this season.
In fact, I'd be shocked if he doesnt lead the league in scoring.
As for Davis, he should thrive playing alongside LeBron James offensively and received most of the credit.
If the Lakers arable toe turn that future defense around.
That being said, my pick for the 19 2020 eh? NBA Most Valuable Player award is Nicola Yokich.
That's right, the Joker.
The way I see it, the Nuggets will have essentially the same Zach roster that had last season and should have some of the best chemistry in the league, which would be extremely important considering approximately 40% of the N B A change teams this offseason.
I think that that kind of continuity will help them on their way to the best record in the West.
And Yokich will reap the benefits of being the best player on the best team, especially if he plays like he did last postseason.
25 points, 13 rebounds, eight assists per game over 14 playoff games.
