Oh, uh oh, yeah.
Hey, what is up? What's up? What's up? What's good? Was good, was good.
This is a really late stream.
This is a very late stream.
But I gotta talk about something.
Talk about something that I already have a video that's shot for for my YouTube channel.
And I'm gonna have to record a second video very, very soon.
Talking about ah, very, very similar.
I mean, it's the same topic, honestly, but it just goes little deeper, so just give a little bit of, ah, of of a of a background here.
I'm gonna be talking about Cam's foot injury I might talk about is injuries in general, but I'll probably stick to the foot injury, which you can probably assume has been kind of widely reported.
Now it's a Lisfranc injury to his foot, and Lisfranc injuries are very, very serious.
Uh, it's when you need it amid for injury.
It's either a sprain or Liz Frank.
For the most part, sprains obviously are a small cup of things.
You can be gone for two weeks, maybe three weeks, maybe sometimes four weeks, but it's honestly a Lisfranc injury is 4 to 8 weeks.
If you stop at the onset, came up to not do the surgery, which people, people usually would choose to do the surgery on that.
Just because a Lisfranc injury, if you didn't know, is when the technical term is when the metatarsals of your foot are are what is it? They're just kind of like offset from the tar sel, meaning your toe bones, the longer of the toe bones are are just kind of offset, and sometimes they even rub against ligaments.
I'm not sure if it's ligaments or if it's up or if it is cartilage.
But the point is, the point is that whether it's a strain or sprain, whether it's a a Lisfranc injury, they're both.
They're just because they're different levels of, ah, of how bad injury is.
But it's very obvious to both the person who has the injury and the doctors, the coaches, the front office people.
It should be very, very obvious to everyone involved that your quarterback is in pain, not to see what is in pain.
He was in pain back in a week three of the preseason.
He was in pain during week for the preseason.
He wasn't paying before the first game of the regular season.
He was in pain and during the first game of the regular season, and he was in pain during the second game of the regular season.
Let's go ahead and get a real quick hold up or get the actual date, UM, a National Day of Week.
Serie A, the preseason that was, or the third game, August 22nd.
So it's been a full month.
Right? It's been up to right now.
Has been a month in in five days.
Excitable house in this nine days.
It's been 36 days since Camas heard her split, but he played even as recently as the 12th of September, so he's only been off his feet for what, 15 days? Cam's only been off of his broke, not broken but very, very injured foot for 14 days.
So the 4 to 8 weeks of of ah, what you call a A an estimate for return time or a turn like timetable from this kind of injury doesn't start the 22nd off of August.
This starts at the latest at the earliest? No, at the earliest, the 12th of September.
Which means that we're looking at a timetable of maybe our mid October, maybe, honestly, November mid late November.
I'm thinking their earliest we could ever see Cam.
The earliest possible game would probably be the Packers game.
But that just gives me a really, really weird Ah, early word feeling.
Because I remember 23 years ago, I think was 2017 when when Aaron Rogers got her early in the season and he was out for a minute and the Packers will doom, All right, they're they're kind of a float for a little bit in the in the season, but it came to a point where it was late in the year and an and Rodders had to come back.
The Packers had to win out, basically to actually, uh, toe actually make the playoffs.
And the first game first game that Aaron Rodgers came back was a game against us, and I'm pretty sure that game was in.
Ah was in Green Bay.
The game was at Lambeau. It was Atlanta.
Remember, the odds were stacked against us because if you remember, this is a long time ago.
The lead up to that game for two or three weeks we were hearing about.
Okay, and Roger's been practicing, but don't feel bad practice daily here.
Then we see and rodders in the pregame and the sideline throwing passes in the week before when they actually announced, Okay, he's gonna come back next week.
We see an Rogers was hell, ah, whole lot of practice video and Rogers.
We see this man doing crazy.
Things are in the pregame of the game before and all the media is talking about Oh, man, this is that. This is the beginning.
This is gonna be a rebirth.
You're going to see a Aaron Rodgers who's ready, ready to go.
He's not enter anymore.
You can tell by the way he's throwing the ball, that he's the Zohar missing good and what happened in that game? Number one.
The Packers lost everyone to pick the panders to lose what was mad wrong.
But number two and most importantly, Aaron Rodgers got injured again.
He re ended on officer's collarbone, but he hurt himself again.
I feel like it was the same exact body part, and I feel like it was uh, Julius Peppers who did it? I might be wrong with that, but I'm pretty sure it was Julius Peppers who got that hit on him and the Packers.
They've kind of been in a bad situation ever since.
Then, everybody's been getting hurt over and over again, can depend on his defense.
But the main point of that story, that parable there was, you know, when you're not rushing the quarterback back, even you do give him a couple months off.
It's not a guarantee they won't re injure that body part.
And luckily for Ann Rogers, one is considered one of the best quarterbacks not deserve this Arab of all time.
So he has to get a lot more leeway than Cam does.
But ah, before that injury, he wasn't really having a bunch of connected, Ah, long term chronic injuries like Cam.
Having the Kim having the the What's it called.
It is a of the temporary, the temporary fix, uh, shoulder surgery and then getting the permanent fix the shoulder surgery and then hurting his his foot.
What he thought was a sprain at first.
Turns out it's most likely a Liz Frank, so two different long term, long term rehabs based off surgeries and then, ah, third injury of third injury that really the best you could.
The best you can hope for for Cam will be to come back, maybe in the Titans game November 3rd.
But honestly, November 10th 1st the Packers is probably the most, the more likely at the earliest at the absolute earliest.
And that's in, what? 123456 games.
But seven weeks? Because our bye week is When is that our bye week isn't three weeks, or, I guess, two weeks.
If you don't count the Texans in a couple of days are bye week.
Is is the, uh is 1/20 of no, actually asked us about a month, Three weeks? Yeah, three weeks after our after our bucks game, making this country a lot, actually.
But the point of that is the point I'm making here is I.
Whether or not the weather, not the the rehab looks good.
I just don't want I don't like the idea of Cam coming back.
There's not really I couldn't think of a single reason.
I couldn't think of a single reason why I would ever say, Cam, come back and then come back and start playing football.
There's one reason there's one way I would want to see Cam come back this season, And that would be if the team makes the playoffs.
If the team makes the playoffs as a wild card team, if making playoffs as a 10 and 16 or maybe even a nine, a seven team that wins a whole bunch of tiebreakers somehow I don't see 97 get into the playoffs in the NFC.
Too many good teams.
Um, this This NFC North is a little bit open right now.
A lot of key injuries, a lot of good teams here, good teams here with ah with very strong strength and very weak weaknesses.
I actually don't know what to make of this NFC North Division.
My money would be on the Bears, but I can see things going left because of Mr Minsky.
If if we assume we don't win the divisional Drew Brees is out to were actually all the you know, you know, this whole the NFC South and the NFC North are kind of toss ups, and I mean the North NFC West, as is really strong as well.
But that only reinforces my point that I don't think that nine and seven is gonna win this division.
So, yeah, it's gonna be 10 and six, at the very least.
And if that's the case as a wild card team, I can see I would be okay with the team saying, Okay, Cam, come on, go ahead.
We want to bring you back for the playoffs, make a playoff push by that same token, if your backup quarterback and win 10 out of 14 games when you want to ride with him.
I had the idea of doing a corporate accounts like a double and bring guy out.
That's kind of crazy to me.
Wouldn't do that at all.
Um, but the biggest point of trying to make here is that a lot of points I want to make here one.
Cam knew he was hurt and still trying to play two.
The coaching staff in the front office knew Cam was hurt, and they still let him play or still pressured him to play.
There's a subset of that because there's not a single chance that if this was a Lisfranc injury, which were pretty much thinking it is that no one knew about it.
The symptoms of a Lisfranc injury are pain in the paint in the middle of the foot or the air. That got hurt.
Very strong pain that hurts to even stand up.
It hurts to stand up and walk.
Imagine what you're doing as an NFL quarterback, even during practice, even doing warmup drills.
You doing like the karaoke thing like Hye Mi's? How you gonna do Hye Mi's And no one knows you're limping.
You tell me that? Not a single playing on a single coach on a single Amy, one of the organization noticed that Cam was limping.
I don't know about that.
I mean, in practice, in the pregame north.
Hold up, Can you? Good, bro.
You're 100% sure You're good.
Because what I'm seeing right now ain't they ain't looking really good.
I We might have different definitions of good.
Keep it real with you.
But three this and me candidates proves we got a coach.
Rivera has to go.
I don't really care if we win 10 games this year.
I don't care for win 12 games this year if, if, uh if Cow Alan lights it up and there's a great, great quarterback, one of situations where you see a backup become one of the best in a while, one at best, but a really good, strong backup for the team.
That doesn't matter to me in the in the sense of Rana very keeping his job.
We've just seen way too many times way, Jimmy up opportunities, way too many situations where we've we've played Cam hurt.
We've played camera and it's and it's for a number of reasons.
I guess one could be because you don't want to tell Cam to get off the field because you don't because he's a competitor or whatnot.
But that's part of the job.
It's not just a you guys ready to play, not just to, you know, make sure guys are focused.
Mission that game plans right.
It's also Toby, a leader, even two of the leaders on your team.
Like if you have a guy on the team who the guy was a leader, like Cam or like Luke or something, But you know they can't go without telling you they want to go and they're telling you they can.
That's when you go to the team doctors.
That's anything watching yourself and say Okay, he said, You can go But I don't think he can If he can't go, he just can't go and can really couldn't or or Coach ofher knew we couldn't go, but understood that the team's success or his is job security is tied to the team's success, and that was just a risk he was willing to make.
We're willing to take.
Hopefully, Cam wouldn't get hurt.
No one can get hurt.
But if it comes down to it, he wanted to save his job.
It's wanted to look.
It's one of the two situations there, and there's no middle ground.
There's no way you can say, Well, maybe Ron Rivera didn't know about it, never noticed the foot never noticed.
Oh, another another.
Another symptom of a Lisfranc injury is large bruising on maybe possibly both the top and the bottom of the foot.
You tell me no one saw big bruise telling.
No one looked at Cam's foot for the world from the 22nd to the eighth.
That's 9 17 days at 17 days.
No one got his foot.
No one saw a bruise.
No one noticed anything.
Another four days goes by 21 days.
Three weeks later, no one saw a thing.
No one noticed anything.
I don't know, ma'am.
I You tell me I might be wrong.
But from what I can tell from what I can tell, there's been some gross mismanagement of Cam Newton as as a quarterback as a as a as as as a player on the team in general.
And I think, uh, I think even scheme wise.
I think, man, that's a big one, But yes, scheme wise injury management.
And, uh, it's just kind of hard to to really just think about teams mismanaging.
They're they're they're franchise quarterbacks.
There's no other way to describe what has happened with Kim.
Any job, video what, like six hours ago? Giving his own perspective, giving uh, talking about what happened in his own words.
And that's a cool video.
It's a cool video.
It's enlightening a little bit, you know, talking about how he had a little bit too much pride and he wanted to fight through the injuries, even though he knew himself, he couldn't go.
My thing is if Cam knew he couldn't go.
I love it when you're an athlete.
I don't expect youto want to always want to come out.
Your job is to play.
Your job was playing to win and athletes when, especially come on, especially franchise quarterback guys who have guys who have proven that they can be good and guys who want to prove that they can still be good after taking a quick little fall was from injuries or just not having really good seasons.
Guys like that aren't just gonna be so willing to take.
It's about the game.
As as a front office as a coach, as a GM s, anyone as an owner is whoever it is you got.
It gets to be able to see what's going on with you, with you with your man's and say Look, and now you want to play.
I know you want to win and I won't compete.
I know you want to contribute, but right now you playing like you playing in this in this state is not our best chance to win does not present us with the best chance to win.
And if you would keep playing like this, you gonna you're gonna end up being not only you're not only not our best chance to win, but you have become our best chance to lose.
Because if you if you get yourself entered, even Maur, then you'll be out longer or out forever.
Now, we only have backups that I'm in line up, So just rest rest for the fresh for the next 6868 weeks.
If you're good bye, then we can bring you back in and we can make this thing work, See if we can salvage this season.
Hopefully, we have a job that we hired him to do.
I mean, they're the NFL players themselves.
I got to come in and be prepared.
You gotta be willing and able to say it to your franchise.
Quarterback is there.
Someone has taken so many hits like Cam, and there's just been a failure there and culture there isn't a bad coach.
Sometimes you gotta you gotta you gotta want better.
You gotta want better.
And this is on both of its not not just blow.
A coach of a cam knew in the front office.
I want to even go to ownership.
Even though this is only his second year owning a team, he hasn't really dare temporarily put his fingerprints on the team just yet.
Not too much on a few important ways he actually has, actually.
But But I want to say, Yeah, I got a woman that you and I put the temper in there, too.
He's been pretty hands on with, Ah, with things that are both player elated and non player related.
You gotta mean you he's gonna be that hands on.
Then you've gotta include him as well, because he does have a say is looking bad.
Simple as that is looking bad, Cam's injury will probably keep him out the rest of season Gimple.
It's probably gonna keep mounting the rest of this season, and that's disappointing.
Not as disappointing as Connie A lying about what lying about this.
Ah, Jesus is King album coming out Friday or last night at midnight and then today at 8 p.m.
He lied about that.
I don't like being lied to either by yea Coach Rivera.
I mean, I gotta Vera B line.
No matter what he did to that podium, I'm allowed to you this man, this man on it very well.
Get up there and say a lot of words.
Not a single one of them. Be true.
Okay, with no not being super forthcoming with the media.
You're a coach in NFL league.
In a league where scheme, you get one advantage, you can win a game learning the scheme, learning.
Ah, what what your opponent's thinking about it.
It's a copycat league, too.
So if you're planning something, that's that sounds little bit too good. I can be.
You know, my work's a hole up. That might work.
I'm going to steal that real quick.
New ideas are hard to scheme for, even if you're the one who thought of the new idea.
You can think about how you're gonna run it, but you may not have.
Actually, you had ah, at time to think about how you would defend it, since it's two different units completely talking about and coming up with their ideas.
And since as a unit you're only really trying to scheme around what you've seen these teams do in the past we've seen these players do in the past.
The point is, the point right here is I know you can't always be truthful, but it'll be a lot more helpful of Ron Rivera was close to sometimes truthful rather than rather than rarely or or conditionally truthful.
That's how I feel about it.
I mean, if you're not, it's not gonna answer the question.
You don't feel confident to the question.
Just go. Bill Belichick.
Just just get crazy.
It's just just don't answer the question.
Yeah, if you don't ask the question.
Still, ask the question and say, I can't that I'll talk about something else, but not that answer.
Then that's cool.
Or or giving our super vague answer.
You don't have to this outright lie. I don't know.
It is what it is.
But the way I see it, Cam's out for the season.
This Lisfranc injury is is a was a 4 to 8 week injury without surgery.
Cam's probably gonna need third reason like it's like what I think it was 6 to 10 weeks, eight was 48.
I think it was 6 to 10 with surgery, but it's probably longer than that.
with Thea with the rehab as well after the surgery.
I want to be a full year.
I think I think Cam sitting this year, he's done.
Maybe unless we go to the playoffs.
But that all depends on whether or not I think it's the surgery and it makes no sense toe not get the surgery.
Now, if you want to sit there, you want to know not not get the not gonna surgery.
You can try that.
You saw what happened into Greg Olsen.
That's really sad, real set.
But that's where we live in right now.
Hopefully can get better, hoping it's better and I hope it happens soon and I hope he's given a chance to get better.
Honestly, that's the biggest thing, hoping it's a chance to, ah, to get better.
Either way I feel about it.
I'll definitely making a video tonight and tomorrow we have the video of the Lisfranc injury, my breakdown on that record.
I gotta edit that tonight and it's gonna go tomorrow When the reaction to his video he put out just earlier today talking about are really just going over what his mindset waas and I'll have it out for you tomorrow as well, Other than that man.
So I got for you.
Probably back live tomorrow, Take my YouTube channel out and we out.
