What's up, Pats Nation? I was everybody.
Today we're going to be talking about, um, the Patriots and their game against Buffalo in about two days is currently Friday, September twice on the 2019 and you is at is on Sunday, September 29th at one o'clock.
So there are many headlines to go over, and I don't know why I said, Look, this this as a pre game. But I did.
Many people are concerned about what it means for Tom Brady by the signing of Cody Kessler.
They the Patriots recently brought in Cody Kessler.
I think he was on like Thursday, Wednesday or Thursday.
Remember which one? Um, but, yeah, Tom Brady has been, ah, having a calf injury the past two weeks.
He's been on the injured per report earlier, early in the week last week when we were going to play the Jets, Um, he was the addict who was listed as questionable with a calf injury on Monday and Tuesday, and I think also won today.
But, um, on Wednesday or a Thursday, and they took moth injury port, you played the gaming at a great game against the Jets, especially in the first half.
And now this week again, um, who got he was put back on the injury report for the calf, Inger meant some Patriots fans are like saying, Oh, what does this mean? He keeps on my king.
I raided his leg and stuff.
It's not anything big.
If it was something big, they would.
People were he wouldn't have had a game last week.
I think they're just gone.
Signing another backup quarterback, um, to kind of Philip more spots in that room because jurors did him.
Right now, he has been stunning film on other teams or the opposing team that we're facing.
So there's He's studying the film on their offense and stuff, so so he can contribute by giving the Patriots Intel and more eyes on the on the offense.
And he's not really focused on or the Patriots don't have him focused on play on the game plan from the Patriots and playing for them.
So I think they just brought in another quarterback so that they could just regulate that and have another backup quarterback, the focus on the pager.
It's stuff besides somebody because Tom Brady is gonna be there and I would practice.
And so and plus Jared student is new and he can't have that much on his plate yet.
I think he will, and I still think he's the future.
Even after that one drive, where through reception people are like, Oh, you Mike resigned.
He just needs to develop.
He needs learn under Tom Brady a bit more and, yeah, so that's That's my opinion on that.
I definitely think Tom Brady will play this weekend.
I think I'll have another great game.
I don't think it will be as good as the Jets game because of how Buffalo plays a defense.
They only allow, um, they only allow, like strings of place.
They don't allow many big plays.
They force you to drive it like 8 to 10 to 12 Um, play drives and pound it, and our running game is not the best right now.
And so I think it'll be a bit of a challenge for Tom Brady.
Will not, you know, when working they'll be.
It won't be as easy as the Jets is.
All I'm saying, and so um, I don't think we're still going.
I'm just thinking it's not gonna be that.
It's gonna be harder.
It's gonna be the hardest game you like this, I think now do I believe that the built the but Buffalo can actually challenge the Patriots and dethrone him? Hell, no.
Weird, our defenses too good.
And our offense is pretty seller.
I don't see there.
There's no way anybody's I there's no way the pages lose this game to me.
Oh, let's see what other talks? Let's talk about Sony Michelle selling Michelle was predicted to have a great year.
He was predicted to, um, I have 1000 yard season and, like maybe 200 touch.
No, no, I don't remember how many touches, but he was a predicted for a very good year, and so far, son Michele has not lived up to that, and he has not had a strong start to the year now.
Part of that is because the offense of line, uh, when he's in and we actually different Paul, which we have a need to do often that the offensive line can't isn't giving him big enough holes, and so he just hasn't been performing the way he was predicted to do.
I think he's going to get better.
I think once he gets back into the groove, he'll be all right.
But he won't be as good as he was last year, which is going to be a disappointment.
Um, James Warrior is going to continue to have a good year like he's had every year.
Rex Burkhead is gonna be another good weapon for a Brady.
Um, Steven cost.
Kowski is, has missed, I think free extra point attempts now in the past three games and like there's something wrong with his head, I think because he I just don't know.
He keeps on missing and he seemed out of sync and out of group with team.
So but there are no better auctions, really.
In free agency, there's no one we can go out and get.
That's gonna make more than Gostkowski.
I think we do need to keep our faith in him, But if he continues missing at the Brady is now, we gotta either draft or get a freezing kicker or something.
We gotta do something.
If he keeps on continuing this streak of bad kicks, I don't have that much to say about the defense.
Besides, it's amazing the defense has in stellar and you cannot it No one has scored on it yet.
And, um, the defense.
There's really no headlines to talk about it except how good they are.
Devin McCourty has had an interception the past three games.
I think he's probably not going to do this, But if he continues on this pace, he'll have like a 16 year, 17 in reception year.
Andi might not even have just one per game.
He may have two or three so, and Stephon Gilmore is still playing amazing, such as last year.
And our linebackers have really stepped up, especially Jane Collins and Kyle Vanoy have been leading this defense really well.
And Bill Bell check has been game planning really well with, um, for every team like usual.
But this team is just stacked on defense and pre stacked on offense.
I don't think this game is gonna be a blowout like the past three games.
I hope it is, but at the same time, I don't because I want a good game.
I think this is the first game that our defense gives up a touchdown because it's probably best offense in this season that we faced.
The Pittsburgh Steelers were good talent wise, but they couldn't execute.
So I think they're going to score at least once, and I think we're gonna score a lot.
But not as much as we were, but the past couple weeks.
So, but we'll just have to see.
We'll have to see what happens on Sunday.
Uh, comin down below.
What do you think I should talk about next? Because I've ran out of topics going to endure them? Um, let's see.
I think Julian Edelman is playing this week.
I'm pretty sure he is.
I don't think the chest injury was a big problem plate and Josh Horton.
He's probably gonna have another group game, especially, and also felt or set is gonna go.
He's gonna have a begin to.
It's sound like Tom Brady's gonna lack options in this or any game, as long as we can keep our guys on the field.
This but this Buffalo defense is God is the hardest events that the Patriots have played all year and so I think that maybe in the beginning of the game.
It will either shocked, Um, or they'd have practiced so well for it that, though, just fire on all cylinders and opening drive again.
Which will be fine.
Um, how, no matter how they often plays.
I think I think they're gonna play good really well.
I don't see there's any way, because in this game I seriously don't.
Their defense is good, but our defense is better.
Their offense is decent.
Our offense is way better.
Our offense can beat their defense, even though it's good.
I don't I don't They'll be able to beat him for at least a touchdown.
But I don't see the Bills defense being are or I'll see the Bills offense beating our defense and I think somehow more.
I'm hoping somehow Stephen Gostkowski.
It's his Hound Street and actually makes a few extra points.
He's made it already, but um, like I said, the key talent players are defense have really stepped up this year, especially Stefan Gilmore, Jason McCourty, Carl Van Noy Jamie called the addition of Jamie Collins back from the about Brown's and our young corner.
Jonathan Jones has been playing really high level for where he's at in age and the position explain.
Is it Barrymore? Gilmore? No, but I think eventually and this prime he'll be better.
Hey, just shows that much.
The offensive line situation.
It's okay, I guess.
I mean, it's not like Brady's getting hit every play, and he's getting exact, like every other play or anything like that.
I mean, the offensive line is blocking, all right, They're not doing the best job of it.
We have a lot of injuries on our offensive line, including Joe Tooni, not charge you, Um, we've lost.
I we lost, lost some depth at some of our offensive line positions, especially with losing Isaiah win for the second year in a row.
I think he'll come back this year, But if he keeps on getting injured, I don't think the Patriots should keep him.
I think that we can find a way to trade him or something because he he seems injury prone at this one and we don't need injury prone players.
That's all I'm going to say.
Our offensive line isn't blocking well enough for the run and they need to do a better job, I think.
But I think they're doing all right, Let's just hope that injuries don't keep plaguing our offensive line, and I think we'll be good in that regard.
With Antonio Brown leaving, I don't think it's as likely for the Patriots to go 16 to know, because all the talk of the Patriots going 16 though, happened after Week one.
I think it was when Antonio Brown aside and there's still a chance, especially if our defense keeps this front of greatness on and our defense is putting up numbers than the 85 Bears or 2000 Ravens.
That's really good, but I don't think it's as likely without Antonio Brown to go 16 You know, now I'm not saying I want Antonio around.
I don't want and turning around.
I didn't think it was going to work out from the start, but I'm just starting today, so I'm I never communicated that, but, um, we're one Wes receiver down at the receiver spot and we traded away do Marius Thomas to the Jets.
Um, and maybe his roomie talent really talented receiver.
So I don't think I was likely to go 16 you know, But I think its constituent happen, and especially if we keep away from the injuries and something.
Michelle Ops is game, and James White and Rexburg had either stare, stay where they're at or get even better.
And Julian Edelman's gonna have a great year.
He always does, Sarge.
Tom Brady's on pace to have a career year this year with just the rigs he's been having from week to week.
And if you if he continues this, it'll be second best year next to the 2000 to 2007 page.
It's worth Randy Moss, Um, but so I think they're gonna win the Super Bowl, as most Patriots hence do.
But, um, I think they're gonna win this year, will.
But I don't know if we're going to go 16.
You know, it's still possible, but I think it's more likely to go 15 1 or 30 or 14 in two, which is still really good.
There is no there's not really a team that scares me at all.
The Ravens and the Chiefs are good.
Don't get me wrong, especially the Chiefs, and but I just think we will really prepare hard for them and will play her guts out.
And especially if our defense holds their ground.
I don't see us losing those games.
We may lose one of them.
Either one is like, Well, either one could happen, But I don't think we're gonna lose very many games this year.
Jake Bailey has been our new Jacob it for, if you don't know, Jake Bailey's our new punter.
We cut Ryan Allen in the off season when, um, Jake barely came to our team.
Um, he's been having a really strong games.
He's been putting it really well on DDE.
I think he's gonna be our punter for a very long time.
And I think he may even be better than, uh, Ryan Allen was or whatever his name was.
Um, yeah, so that's pretty much it.
