but up, Ladies and gentlemen, this is your boy Lo Ro Antonio for the Wednesday sports report.
So let's start off with the Dodgers.
Last night's win over the San Diego Padres by the final of 6 to 3.
And, uh, let's talk about what I liked about yesterday's game.
Max Muncy hit a grand slam, and also Jock Peterson put the icing on the cake to make it 6 to 3 as the Dodgers beat the Padres 6 to 3.
And Tony Gonsouland is the winning pitcher.
He had a solid day yesterday, and then, uM Rich Hill.
He pitched to good innings.
I really was encouraged by the way he pitched, and ah, our date of when it's his next start on Sunday in this in the regular season finale against the Giants, he really could go at least three or maybe four innings.
We will find out for sure what the issue is.
The situation that now that being said, ladies and gentlemen, now, let's also talk about uh today's pitching matchup for the Dodgers is to take on the San Diego Padres in Game two of this three game set, and Ross Stripling will take the mound later today as he will go up against Nelson.
Lament as the daughters look to when the Siri's over the San Diego Padres so that they can go for the Siri's sweet against the San Diego Padres tomorrow.
And Clayton Kershaw is on the mound for the finale against George the Case and Dave Roberts did mention last night.
He said that Kershaw starting Thursday doesn't mean he's lined up to start Game one of the NLDS.
And speaking of of the NLDS, Game one of the 2019 and L.
D S will be next Thursday on TBS, and we don't know who's pitching them.
And we know that the Dodgers have home field advantage throughout the entire National League playoffs.
So, though either be playing for sure, the winner of the NL wildcard game between the Nationals or the Brewers.
So we'll find that out next week.
So with that being said, um, I will do my key player of the game for the daughters in just a minute here.
So let's talk about some football stuff and let's do my thoughts on Week three for the Patriots, Rams and Chargers.
So for the Patriots, a 1 30 to 14 over the New York Jets.
And I gotta tell you, their defense looks very scary.
Their offense is just their offenses good.
As long as Tom Brady and Bill Belichick were on the show and I think, uh, I gotta say, Yeah, Josh Gordon had a great game against the chats, and, uh, even though that the Jets I have what it takes to be a good team.
But I felt like that they were lost with that Sam Donald.
So I was expecting the blowout, but heading into week for I'm expecting a close game with the Buffalo Bills.
But at the same time, the Patriots are gonna sneak one in with a win, and I think it's gonna be a close game.
I say the Patriots to me, are a seven point favorite over the Buffalo Bills and for the Chargers.
I think that they can overcome their.
I wanted to start.
This team is too talented to start off slow, and I think, uh, they just he asked out on themselves against the Texas and in the Rams.
They're a team that just always plays for the big moments and and always always stops a team at the last minute, so I felt like that.
The Rams did a good thing against the Cleveland Browns and got the wind.
And the Rams, however, will play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
I'll dive deep into that on the podcast on Friday on my NFL show.
We'll also talk about the Chargers game against the Dolphins and the Patriots be playing the Buffalo Bills.
Tom Brady versus Josh.
Alan, I think, is gonna be good.
And Josh College of me, I think he's really he's really I feel like the second best quarterback in the A F C East.
I think he's had a much better season.
Then he had his rookie season, and I think he showed a lot of growth.
But the consistency I think he needs to work.
And also, by the way, the Lakers will have media day next Friday.
And then I'll die more deeper into what I think what I expect for the Lakers next week as well.
And also Kyle Kuzma is gonna miss the start of training camp due to an injury.
I would expect him Thio kind of sit out the preseason just to get treatment, rehab.
And also, uh, you call this rehab.
And, uh, I think he should be able to ah, play against the Clippers on October 22nd when the Lakers begin the 82 game marathon.
And I I am optimistic that this Lakers team is gonna do good things this year.
So with that being said, uh, I want to see, uh, I'm gonna say, Course eager tonight.
Today are expected to have another good game today against the Padres.
So that being said, I hope everybody has a good evening.
And, uh, this is low.
Rohsaan it off for now.
