our New England Patriots hosted the New York Jets at Gillette Stadium this afternoon.
As you all know, by now and from start to finish, the Patriots never let the Jets make the game competitive.
Tom Brady started the game looking like the goat leading a huge early offensive charge for the Patriots.
Luke fault on the Jets looked like a deer in the headlights.
The Patriots defense is starting to look like the Pittsburgh Steelers Steel Curtain of the seventies.
After three games, the defense still has not surrendered a touchdown.
And despite some offensive and special teams hiccups today, the Patriots are looking better and better every single game.
The Patriots walked away from this Game three you know after defeating the New York Jets, 32 14.

We had a lot of fun, a lot of good conversation, and Lisa jumped up and said, It's time.
It's time to start talking about our New England Patriots here after a victory.
Because here on DP and we like football.
We like football season and everything that goes with it.
So here's how the game started.
The Jets started on offense if the Patriots deferred and kicked them the ball, and they racked up 22 yards on their 1st 2 plays of the game, and that is by far the closest the New York Jets came to making this game competitive today.
Basically, from that point forward, the Patriots defense and offense kept his game out of reach, and they were really in full control the whole game.
And in the blink of an eye before anybody even knew what was really happening on the field, the Patriots were up 22.
The Patriots defense was absolutely relentless today.
All over Lady on Belle all over Luke Falk, recording five sacks on the day.
On the offensive side of things, the Patriots controlled the ball for 35 minutes and 14 seconds of the game, and controlling the ball for more than half a game is huge.
And in the past, what we've seen is the New England Patriots play down to lesser competition.
We've seen many times the patrons go out and play great, huge games against big teams, and then the teams were supposed to destroy.
They let them kind of hang around.
That was not the case today.
The Patriots took it to the Jets from start to finish, and for the most part, the Patriots rightfully acted like the superior team.
Now, of course, there were times today that the Patriots offense sputtered, especially after Julian Adelman went down with his eye look like a rib injury.
The last report we got on Edelman came via Twitter, Adam Schefter and Mike Reiss, and they were saying that his X rays were negative, and that's really the extent of it.
People who saw him after the game and saw moving around are expecting that he will play next week, which is good news.
It was great to see Josh Gordon fight through injuries today.
We also got to remember that there was sputtering times for the offense, for the game plan also changed very late into the weak, and they had to change things in a hurry.
With the Antonio Brown being with Antonio Brown being released on Friday.
It obviously through a big kink in the offense of game plan.
Considering that he was still at practice Friday morning, the Patriots were expecting Antonio Brown to play on Sunday, and I'm sure that he had a prominent part of this game plan again.
I think they were still trying to acclimatize him to the Patriots Offense is why he was a big part of the offense against Miami, and the James White was also inactive today because his wife was giving birth.
This second Patriots baby born on a game day, Kyle Vanoy was Week one and now Mr Sweet Feet Jr on Week three.
But for the most part, the Patriotsoffense did just fine.
They locked away with 381 yards of total offense.
They also recorded 21 1st downs for the day, and Brady was able to connect with seven different receivers throughout the game.
Rex Burkhead worked on getting the running game going, and he was able to put up a few yards.
Unfortunately, Sony Michelle continues to struggle on the running game.
He had nine rushes today from the 11 yards.
It looked like the Patriots really started moving away from him and putting the perspective.
Philip Door set had 12 rushing yards on the day, so Philip Door set had one more Russian yard over Sony. Michelle.
When we try to look at who is the outstanding player of the game, I give that to Jamie Collins.
He finished his day with two sacks of four tackles.
He came very close to an interception.
He was all over the place.
He was getting pressure on Luke Falk.
Even when he wasn't recording sacks, we got a couple of quarterback hits.
Jamie Collins was my outstanding player of the game on either side of the ball, but a big catalyst for the defense.
Devin McChord, Air defensive captain Are, you know, Staple in the secondary on safety? Recorded his third interception and three games on an absolute gift from Luke Falk.
And I don't think McCord You could have asked for an easier interception he was making.
This was making jokes on the sidelines, showing that he was gonna call for a fair catch the way it kind of just went straight up into the air and right into his arms.
But the defense continues to grow better and better every single week.
Danny Shelton has really come around and having a much Maur improved season this year.
Then he did last season.
I've been very impressed with how Danny Shelton is.
Look, the past rushes getting better and better each week.
Michael Bennett was in on some hits this week.
He was in all over the quarterback.
They were in all overly lady on Belle.
When they're trying to stop the running game, the Patriots are setting records in the Super Bowl areas.
Now through the 1st 3 games of the season they have, the Patriots have not allowed a rushing or passing touchdown through three games.
I think it's unfortunate defense can get that statistic against them for the muffed punt by Gunnar All Cesky.
But that doesn't mean that the New England Patriots don't think that they have things to work on.
And Devon accordion Diran harming two leaders on the team.
Let everybody know that Belichick is keeping them humble, that there will be a game film tomorrow breaking down all of their mistakes.
And I don't think that's a bad thing.
This is September.
For the Patriots defense.
That means they're still building and still growing.
And yet they still look so good and they as a team, and the players especially expect them.
They expect themselves to be better when it comes around week nine, Week 10 which can Onley excite us as Patriots fans.
I think that's huge, exciting news that they believe they're gonna get better.
So we didn't talk that much about the Jets this week.
There was a whole lot of other stuff to talk about.
The Antonio Brown saga is now over, and we can focus on football going forward.
And it's now time to close the books, at least for the first time this season on the New York Jets.
And it's time to set our sights on to the Buffalo Bills.
The Buffalo Bills are also three.
You know the Patriots and the Bills are tied for first place.
Names see East out of perfect record.
Each one of those records will be broken next week when the Patriots travel off the Buffalo to play the Bills.
I also believe that the Bills will be the toughest opponent that the Patriots have had to face already.
The Patriots will need to prepare.
Need to be ready.
Buffalo has a very good defense, but I don't think it's anything that the Patriots can't handle.
And Tom Brady has absolutely owned the Buffalo Bills with the last few years.
I don't want to get too much into the special team blunders for those of you who were on my Livestream earlier today, as it did play by play throughout the game, you knew how I felt about Gunnery Jetskis muffed punt.
You all know that I felt what Stephen Gostkowski, who missed another extra point going into this season, Stephen Gostkowski's career high, was three missed extra points in this season.
He has already matched that in three games.
He needs to get something going.
There's something going on with his head right now that he needs to get right, and I hope that Steven just as he can get it together.
But that doesn't mean that the special teams was totally out of whack.
Jake Bailey had a fantastic game today in Matthew Slater was showing his elite NUS at the safety are at the on the special teams.
That's why he's been a seven time Pro Bowler for special teams.
It's why I will continue to make the argument.
The Matthew Slater needs to be a Hall of Famer because of his special teams play.
I think ultimately we can all agree as Patriot fans when we watch this game.
The Patriots still aren't playing their best football and they keep getting a little bit better each and every week.
It doesn't mean they're not playing good football.
It just means they're not playing their best football, which is also exciting as Patriot fans knowing that this team is only gonna get better now.
A lot of the stuff that they need to work on in the room for improvement is on the offensive side of things.
I don't want to call it issues.
I want to call it room for improvement.
And, of course, every single player on that team has room for improvement.
But I'd like to see Josh Gordon get a little bit more consistent now.
I think that could be a combination of Josh Gordon and Tom Brady, two of them still trying to work through things.
I didn't get much of a training camp together.
This is almost like them playing through a preseason as they're getting more in sync.
But the consistency hasn't been there.
Josh Gordon made spectacular catches today, spectacular catches, But then you saw things like on the touchdown opportunity and that kind of thing, where it just wasn't working properly.
And I'd like to see that combination get a little bit more consistent, like to see Tom Brady work on his passes a little bit.
I understand that he likes to throw a low, but he couldn't begin very low today and those look passes are low by design, but even Adelman was having a tough time getting down and getting some of those balls.
Phillip Dorsett, another big game today, did what he need to do.
Mr Dependable and I was happy to see that.
But when we look a room for improvement, Sony Michelle obviously needs to get going.
And a lot of some of that is also on the offensive line.
They were missing James Devlin today, which of course, made a big impact.
The tight ends haven't on the greatest of jobs blocking in the run.
They need to do it. They need to open up some holes.
As much as I like to sit here and just criticize Tony Michelle and I know some people who are a little bit I'm educated and football are blaming Sony. Michelle.
It's not just Sony Michelle.
If you look where he was being hit and where he was being just mauled by New York Jets defenders.
Ah, lot of that's on the offensive line because when holes opened up he burst through that whole like his touchdown run.
So the offensive line obviously needs to get into gear and the only place that they are, you know, not their starters from Week one is that the left tackle position with Isaiah win out in Marshall Newhouse Taking over and obviously don't have David Andrews.
But Joe Tooni and Shack Mason or the best guard tandem in the NFL, need to do a better job opening up some holes.
Same with Marcus Cannon.
The run game could be very, very important for the Patriots going into this season, especially to keep those defense is off balance with the run game, not working effectively.
That's why you saw the Patriots absolutely dominating the Jets going up 22. Nothing.
And then you started seeing the offense spotter a little bit.
That didn't have to.
That wasn't so much as the Patriots not executing in the past game.
It had to do with the Jets adjusting and making adjustments to what the Patriots were doing and with run game not working, they knew that they had to cover the receivers.
If the run game can get going and they can run a balanced offense, it's ain't gonna leave.
Defense is a little bit more off balance, and they won't be able to smother the receivers kind of like he did today.
The important thing is Pats Nation is.
The Patriots are three, you know.
Last year at this time, there were one in two.
The sky was falling in.
They'd lost two straight games to Jacksonville in Detroit, two teams that didn't make the playoffs.
So I think that we should appreciate three, you know, as they go for for no next week against the Buffalo Bills again, which will be their toughest test.
I love how people are walking around, run around saying that the Buffalo Bills are weak when they're three, you know it's gonna be a tougher game.
It's not gonna be a cakewalk like usual, but the Patriots should come through.
And with all that being said, dear Pats Nation, thank you so much for tuning into my video.
