Call me Buffalo Joe live streaming on the sportscaster act, and we're at halftime Bills versus Bangles in Week three of the 2019 season.
Buffalo coming off halftime with a 14 to nothing lead against the bangles and defense.
We'll start on that side of the ball because I got a whole rant ready for the other half.
Defense looks good.
They're getting adult in early.
That line doesn't seem to be holding up against the past Russian, even though there's only been one sack.
It's definitely been holding off in the past game as well.
And when I said in the beginning of the of my earlier show, you gotta disrupt all you gotta throw was timing off.
If you can do that, you'll have your way with their passing attack because it's all based on rhythm.
And if you saw right at the end of that last drive that the Bangles sad before they got the ball back right before halftime, he had Boyd open up top.
I think it was Boyd or Ross.
It was John Ross Open up top wide open, you know, probably gets him into the red zone, but it's an overthrow by Dalton because the passwords, the D line just got right into the pocket and made it impossible for Don't get the timing off right, and you've seen Hughes with the head on him.
He just hasn't looked comfortable today, and that's so key and the defense got to keep that up.
But the coverage got to stay consistent to Trey got lucky and didn't give up that reception.
If you can keep up with Ross for the rest of the game, that's very big boats.
Well, for the bill's de unde, definitely liking what the Bills the offense is doing.
So far, though, that turnover was huge.
I wish we could have done more with it, and that's my Segway into my rant because this shouldn't be a close game.
If you are that time, it shouldn't be a close game.
And if everything's executed well, it doesn't.
That doesn't happen.
In football, there's always miscues.
There's always mistakes.
But even if there's a fraction Maur of things that are fixed for things that are different by the offense in that first series of drives, you you really are seeing a completely different game and it's very frustrating for me.
to watch because I'm getting angry at the fact that this case should be closed.
It shouldn't be an uncomfortable situation when you have a turnover, that huge fumble that gets him about the 40 yard line and you bring it all the way down.
And then Allen, with the good pastor, knocks and knocks, just drops and botches the catch completely.
That is, that is unacceptable.
Fumble is absolutely unacceptable.
That can't happen.
You need to be able to protect the ball ball.
Security is everything, and I can tell you, even though we're up, I am not comfortable.
And I that needs to be resolved in the second half because you aren't beating contending teams.
You are beating the Patriots, the chief's Ravens.
Any of these contending teams with those miscues, it's just unacceptable.
I'll forgive him because it's a tough catch to make.
But even then, I still think you should have had it, but it's it's just these mysteries can't keep happening, and then on top of that, all with Sheldon fumbles and they get the ball back.
That defense is able to stop up, but then you just have more nonsense and I mean, it's It's just very annoying to see the ball security issues.
Once again, they got away with one there.
They should be thankful that that didn't turn into anything worse anything, and getting the ball back to the 30 yard line and giving up.
It's on Leah to score game and they're still to have 2/4 left to play.
It's You have to protect the ball and you have to clean up those in this fuse and the offense is young.
It's early on in the season still, and they're still learning and I'm seeing them progress week after week.
Alex still looks good as a passer, but they gotta clean it up.
They cannot afford to have any more of these offensive misuse anymore fumbles anymore.
Any turn over anything of that sort.
Cincinnati is getting the ball back now and we have to hope that the defense stay strong, that they make corrective adjustments based on what they saw in the first half.
But the offense got to do the same thing and I can tell you one thing.
I would have felt a lot better going into halftime or going into the third quarter with 22 points is anyone would.
But even more so for the fact that you got your points early and it seems like this team has our trouble adjusting after halftime, and I want to see that, make those adjustments early on and keep being aggressive and keep getting points on the board, because the truth is they're doing great with time of possession, they're keeping the ball in their hands.
They're keeping it away from Dalton, the defense.
Cincinnati's defense is getting tired, and we want that.
But you can't win on that front unless you put the points on the board.
Because despite all the time they got that ball, 14 points to show for is nothing, in my opinion, because now any time Cincinnati gets the ball back, they have the possibility to cut the deficit in half and then time on the offense.
But it starts with fundamentals.
Don't drop that.
Paul Allen's got to be careful with how hard he's throwing it, but these rookies items.
I'm loving that they're getting involved in what Knox's touchdown.
I love the two point conversion that was so it was so fun to watch that that drive was what the offense is capable of, how they spread the ball, how they weren't left and then right pitches.
You know, they're not being predictable and shoving or the middle.
Every five, every five plays or whatnot.
They look like a spread offense, but they got a finch, and that's been the biggest problem all years.
They're not finishing their drives.
There are more than capable of being an offensive juggernaut if everyone's on the same page and gets things done, I like Colby Colby's Lee's involvement.
I want to see him get him or involved.
It's just the little things that if they can clean it up, make the right adjustments in half time.
I'm confident that they could go out there and do some damage, But if not, you're keeping a close game.
And, like I said in my first show that Bangles offenses explosive men, John Ross might have had a fumble when he has dropped issues.
But he's fast and he could get open any time.
And you better believe that Dolphins gonna be looking down the field ever since he had that one chance to get that touchdown when Ross got over entree white and you know it's It's just This is why I get really annoyed with offensive misuse, and I want to be optimistic and how well they're moving the ball in the game against the Jets.
Didn't the same thing. Turnovers.
They could move that ball downfield but can't finish the drive against the Giants in the third quarter and up until they had their final drive, would actually put points back on the board to actually win the game.
It's just the misuse kept happening, and it just seems like the team is young and trying to find their footing trying to figure out how to quit his own offense.
It's a very complicated offenses, they mentioned, so I can understand it regardless.
I do have things that I am encouraged by offensively as well.
Like I said, I like the way out looks as a passer. I like.
I was giving us more, you know, for the most part.
Even despite the drops of throws happen accurate that one to Sweeney would have been the most unreal play he's made so far.
If you could have had that and I was impressed with the fact that he was able to make something out of nothing on.
The three aren't passed when he fell down.
But it also brings concern because one of my things with Alan is I don't like when you place too much hero ball because that's how you get in trouble.
But it's worked out for him so far today, but his decision making needs to be cleaned up on top of his ball security.
You know that intentional grounding was just dumb.
It took a drive away, took points off the board for the Bills.
That can't happen.
So you gotta snap out of it and half time and come out with your team and be aggressive making the right throws.
The Bangles pass Rush hasn't been the best, but it hasn't been bad by any means.
They've so don now.
In a few times, I think they cleaned it up a lot more towards halftime.
From what I watched it.
I'll go back and watch it later to see if I'm wrong or not.
But is that the online starting to hold up a little more? But that pass rushers still prominent and it's all a matter of just being able to keep moving the ball, keep exploiting those holes with linebackers and take a shot every now and then.
I mean, they tried Wednesday, Jones, but Alan hasn't been able to hit that mark and it's a tough road to make.
Cause is under pressure.
He's moving out of the pocket.
But honestly say Jones was wide open.
That's a touchdown.
This game's a whole different story and I'm in a lot better of a move right now.
But regardless I liked our Boyd.
I like John Brown.
I think John Brown's doing well.
He's getting open, he's getting separation.
He's really always a threat to go up top and they're respecting that and he's keeping the defense specifically the secondary honest and keeping them back.
But he gets face and he creates a constant target for Alan.
If Alan could keep hitting him would be great because we can keep the ball moving forward.
The bill's on third down are just un riel and that play before that I think it was about 20 yards or 10.
I have to look at it, but that's strike two Alan to Brown wife, the one he made last week and that one he made in this game was just a thing of beauty, and it's so important that they can just establish that even on third and warm there.
Still, their passing game needs to be respected because they can always make a play.
They're always capable of doing it.
So for me personally, while I am encouraged by certain things, I also want to Seymour.
The mystery's got to stop.
They gotta hold that ball and they gotta finish their drives.
Number one things.
They've gotta finish their drives.
They got a hold that ball as much as they can keep any, Don't off the field and win this game by completing their drives, getting as many points as they can. Obviously.
And the defense got to stay arrested because the truth is like an explosive offense does.
If the Bangles are on the field more, they're going to start getting more completions.
John Ross is gonna keep having Trey White get exhausted.
They're going to start finding openings, they're going to start making big plays, and the game is not gonna be as close as you think.
So that is my tape right now.
I'm hoping the bills continue to dominate because I guess that it should be a close game and I'm hoping that they'll actually make it in the coming half so that that's it for May I gotta go back and watch this game streaming on my laptop.
