F F student Doc Mobile studio again.
Today will be a little more clear, I hope.
Anyway, a little more clear and I won't drop the phone 100 times.
Let people come in here.
Gonna talk about the Chiefs, running backs and the Carolina quarterback.
Um, reports came out today about both of them.
They're sort of vague ish reports.
I don't really know what's going on with Cam.
Specifically, it's interesting to me that he he was fine.
Just put in the preseason, right? We knew that and then was fine.
Wasn't on the injury report.
You just assumed that he got better way.
All assumed he was better.
And then he plays crappy.
Who knows that that had to do with it or not.
And now he's hurt again and he's in a walking boot.
They put him in that walking with first time around when he heard that put a month ago or so.
So I'm not too concerned about the boot itself.
We know that it was a fraction first time because we had the whole extra conversation about how X rays don't pick up on sprains and strains.
They're not specific to um, your X rays are specific to injuries.
And just tell us, did you or did you not break or dislocate something, right? So we talked about that before.
I don't know what's going on, Cam.
The worst case scenario is he has a list frank, which everybody's heard of that a Lisfranc injury where essentially foot comes, you land, the person lands on their tippy toes or their force downward while they're still on their toes.
That could be what's going on.
And if that's the case, it could be a looking issue.
And if that's the case, then you know they're gonna have to shut him down for at least a few weeks because clearly they did that for a week and it didn't get better.
And so that the cancer is moving forward.
Considering that they're going to, they lost you home games, and now they have to do the I don't even know who they play this weekend.
I haven't even looked into that have been looking at the injuries, but I'm nervous about Cam.
I'm nervous about his his outlook, and I mean I'll, I'll admit that I was wrong.
I This injury appeared by all for all intensive purposes, like it was gonna be no big deal.
And it was right.
It just they just creep crept back up.
But for my knowledge, or for my at least from what I can remember, Cam's never had foot issues.
And so when people say he's injury prone, this or that and they said they're worried about its health, that's not it's never been.
It's footers ankle.
And so that's just really it's This is just another player or I'm gonna have a soapbox about like, Has he had shoulder issues? Yes.
Did you run really physically? Yes, but he's never had a book.
Foot Ankle problems are very, very specific.
It's just another reason why we should really be careful when label player's injury prone.
Are they really truly injury prone or have they just been sort of unlucky? I think there's a shade of unlucky and unfortunate in cans current situation, so continue to monitor my Twitter as I'll keep sending updates based off what I know right now, it seems like it could potentially be a ligament issue the connective tissue issue and those are there's nothing you can do for those years have let the hell I honestly, as of today, I don't expect came to play on Sunday based off.
The fact that he's in a Putin didn't practice today.
I don't know how you turn around in clown Sunday NFL game after that.
So that's that on camera, next person in the next people to talk about.
Here are the Kansas City running backs who both were injured weirdly on me in the final quarter way, too.
So Damian Williams, who's injury I initially thought was gonna be a little less severe, actually held him out of practice today.
And we'll show on McCoy's injury.
Who, actually trying to point out an M R I.
That's on Monday is practising.
And so it's just you never know with these kinds of things when they're so big teams so big.
So I'm starting to believe that Damian Williams has a true contusion.
I wrote about this over at Wind daily sports that sometimes teams will just use that phrase breeze and it really just mean a bruise, like, you know, I got hurt.
Now I have a bruise on my arm.
However, if you start using working to shin contusion of the Perry osteo bone is be extremely painful.
And it's what it doesn't swell.
It's called a demon.
So you get your bone gets essentially swelling and that takes time.
It's actually hell, you know, that could get Malcolm out for three or four weeks.
I don't know if that's exactly what's going on.
It isn't a super severe, a bone contusion that he could miss this week and potentially be back next week.
But considering he didn't practice, I'm a little more concerned for his availability on Sunday.
Darwin Thompson sees on, or anybody interested, I think, but it really doesn't matter.
You throw in that backfield, I could get back there and maybe if I can catch a petition to catch up, so that's alive.
But it generally doesn't matter who's in the back.
Like I said, Damian Williams did practice.
So that's a note.
I mean, I'm sorry not digging Sean recorded practice, so I don't know if that's him gutting it out and saying, Well, holy crap, you know, the rest 13 has sort of taken a bite from the injury bug.
I need to be the one to tough it out.
I don't know If that's the case, I refuse, genuinely, just feeling better.
You never know stuff like that.
So, um, a little more optimistic about him playing.
And if he plays like I mentioned, he's gonna be productive because he is in the chief's backfield.
Anybody you know, you have to keep running backs or wide receivers honest, and it's easy to run and catch passes.
The backfield in that offense is that you're a Compton NFL running back, so his ankles clear he doesn't have a high ankle screen.
He doesn't have anything else structural going on.
So, really, at this point, it's just a painting, and I expect him to be fine.
David Williams, a little more nervous spouse, wanted to hop on and talk about that.
So at that student talk on Twitter, make sure you follow me.
Follow my stuff at one daily, follow my stuff, unwrapped sports nets work, and if you have any injury questions, keep shooting in my way, and I'll try to answer them as much as quickly as I can.
