everybody two, the Bulls.
And, um, we're looking at a little bit of what we did against the Giants.
And then we're looking ahead to Cincinnati, plus a little NFL news and how it affects the bill's little intro.
Music Intro Music Goodbye.
June could dance on musician Armand Choose a different song Every time I use my own band couple I play with a couple of advance used them.
So I'm gonna try to bring in some new stuff.
I'll put a link.
Yeah, everything here.
Um, starting with the bills.
First the Giants or to know to know, MetLife State and Kings in New York.
Um, very happy about that.
We came out great.
You got punched in the mouth first.
Stay quiet, Barclay.
Just like they did against the Giants. Came out.
He was a calm Barclay on me, and he's the best back in the league.
Hands down, in my opinion, so hard to tackle.
And, you know, he busted my cell 27 yard run to the right, just like, you know, kind of like we expected.
But as a whole, we gonna keep him to 120 yards in one touchdown for a full game where they were trying to use them more and be the focal point of the offense.
He still only touched the ball 18 times, which another New York Giants fan base was screaming that he only got 15 touches Week one.
They wanted to see him well over 20.
Hell, even 30 touches nearly got 18.
So I don't know what Pat Shurmur is doing if they're trying to keep the tread on the tires because they know they're not very good.
But we'll see, uh, effectively.
Like Adam Schein predicted, we ended the lies career.
Uh uh, which kind of sucks.
I mean, I'm looking forward to seeing the Giants with Daniel Jones, see if it gives him a spark.
But I just that defense, they they're year two away.
So, um, but you never know, You know, they could land Jalen Ramsey.
Tomorrow would be totally different.
So, um, enough about the giants.
Little more about the bills.
Um, it's a great first half.
Allen had over 200 yards, two touchdowns.
He was on pace for career day.
Everybody kind of thought so.
And then we came out in the third quarter.
Shines made some adjustments in the first half, and we've only got blitzed arm like roughly 50% of his dropbacks, whereas in the third quarter it was like 87% or something like that.
So they made out a little more uncomfortable and we weren't exactly able to do what we wanted to do.
But when it came right down to it, I mean, our running game picked up the slack a little bit.
We had over 100 50 total rushing yards, 253 passing yards for hundreds of yards of offense.
Ellen didn't get hurt, that that's a good game.
He managed the game very well, and we saw some some really great place.
You know, Alan rolling out to the right and unleashing some lasers.
That one to Knox was just play of the game.
Um, and, uh, you know, I got a touch on Alan, not only during the game, being awesome turned the postgame being just fantastic, and I think he has bills.
Fans already know what we have in Josh Alan, because you know, he's just been so endearing to this fan base has embraced the bills Mafia has, as we have embraced him and the national media is starting to figure out what a gem that we have over here.
So, um, if you don't know what I'm talking about In the post press conference, one of the reporters out of New York City asked if you know what, Josh, Alan, did you ever consider what his career would be like in New York? He landed.
And, you know, with your New Jersey Jets, I am in New York, you know, and, uh and he goes, Hey, I know.
But, you know, you ever thought would be like down in this media market.
Basically, that he comes back is like the only team in New York.
Give him a little wink, Just awesome, right? And if you look at that plate and knocks where he rolls the outside, we get pressure up the middle.
And he does this little juke right guy against Duke down of his shoes and and and even kind of points.
Give them a little point wink.
Even during the game before the press conference, laser to knocks on the right sideline, pinpoint right between two defenders were only He could catch the ball, and that's the kind of stuff we know he can do.
We've seen that potential.
Unfortunately, every time he's world out there, right across his body like that, it's been an interception.
So we're seeing the growth and receive him start to make some smart decisions.
He even threw the ball away three times today, so that was very important to has adjusted like PFF.
Rating with those throwaways made him number one.
It was like a 94% or something like that.
So, um, Allen's making the right place and again on second week in a row with rushing touchdown.
And you know, he's he's rushing only as needed.
Not to run for his life, which is just awesome.
Um, I want to touch on David's play call.
All right. Brian De Vil.
Um, my friends over hashtag sports, Really, but they kind of always been hard on table.
I just I feel he hasn't nailed to call to his full potential yet because he's just kind of been handcuffed with a really bad group of receivers last year.
No offensive line and rookie quarterback, and you know now he's got better offensive line, a couple of weapons to throw two and you're seeing him start to be able to utilize his creativity.
And the more Josh Alan just kind of gets the system better off that we're all gonna be, Um, I'm not the biggest fan of Tom Brady agrees.
They had the best success.
I don't think he's the best quarterback.
I think he's more or less a part of this, um, but part of the system that allows him to be great.
And if I'm being 100 7 it's Josh Ellen, although I think he's gonna be the best quarterback out of that class.
You know, he he has some areas where he's not great, But this system puts him in situations to be great and takes away the stuff he's not that good at.
So the more I see Brian Table kind of build Institute, what he's trying to do and the creativity he's putting into it.
You're seeing that script go from only 57 place to 15 20 plays and then making the right adjustments at halftime and moving forward.
So, um luckily we've kind of been a position where defense is playing lights out and we can do whatever we want with the ball And so coming into Cincinnati team, that's owing to its got beat up a little bit.
They just got walloped by the 40 Niners last week.
You know, I like Jimmy G.
I like the 40 Niners, but I think Alan has hired potential of him.
Our team has a higher potential of them.
Um, you know what to see.
See what happens in this game.
The one thing I worry about this week three games is some people, like are we overlooking them because we have the Pats at home week for and we all know that's gonna be our first real test it for this team.
Although the Giants game start the Jets game was definitely a test, but the Jets already use to see if have imploded.
I'm not gonna be.
The fact that we thought there were gonna be somebody was imperative that we won that game. That's huge.
But, um, you know, we two verse insurance.
I mean, look at the schedule.
We knew we had those two games at Met life.
If we can come in and get some consistency, we could be two No.
You know, if we beat the bangles like we shoot at home and be looking at four. No, Patsy.
I mean, it is a potential trap. Him.
That's the whole reason I brought it up.
But I really don't see us.
You know, Dermot and this coaching staff has just taken it when we get a time so well compiled with the fact that it's our home opener.
And we're doing an amazing tribute to Pancho Bia and his family, his girlfriend, His two kids are gonna be there if that doesn't bring the freaking juice for the bills, just come out and just lay down on the bangles.
What? You know what I mean? Um, part of almost wishes we were doing this week for, but it is what it is.
Um, this 1st 2 games were two games we're supposed to win, and we didn't know you were.
The national media is now start to take a little bit of attention to the bills, and they're like, I was the Jets and the Giants will see we're gonna be three, and we're going to get a little more attention.
And then that's why we were so important.
Even if we don't win, we can't just get blown out like everybody else has, you know? And on top of this, the Patriots have the Jets this week.
So again, they're playing, You know, they have the Dolphins and the Jets, and the Steelers and Steelers have been, you know, they didn't show up.
Also, the Patriots haven't been tested yet, either.
And they've had another injury on their offensive line.
Um, our boys need eat week for that's all on you.
Um, so, you know, do you think this bengals game is a trap game? Let me know.
Uh, I'd love to hear your opinions on that.
Um, speaking of the national media, I love watching I I spend much time researching the bills and the, you know, G m f b had Josh Kalen on angry runs.
Even Colin Cowherd, who has had nothing nice to say really about the Bills ever or Josh Allen doesn't even give her bills.
Mafia fan based enough respect.
Um, finally admitted today that, you know, bend the bills look good.
Josh Ellen looks good.
He's got us in the right positions for him not to fail and a key staff.
He pointed out that I wasn't quite aware until I saw that was that we've had five red zone trips, five touchdowns.
Only Latino do that league.
So our red zone efficiency is that 100% we're taking advantage of the opportunities.
And you know what? Even if we don't score touchdowns, you know, we got house money booted in 50.
I really like the odds, Martine putting up enough points.
Allow our defense to just do its thing because I don't see many people score more.
17 on is all year, 20 points all year and our offense on average, 24 28 points a game. 30 points again.
Here we go and it's all again.
All notes on Josh Alan, and he's making them steady.
Incremental movements chart as he's going on.
He's got another hi Kate game.
Let's see what they can do against Cincinnati.
And, um, the other key to that game is Devon Singletary.
Not sure if it was a cramp or complete pulled a hamstring.
McDermott did not want to give up much during Monday's presser.
Um, he considered it day to day whether gather more information on the energy of injury so What that tells me is that he's still a little tight and, uh, still a little tight.
And he, uh, you know, I almost hope we arrest him and get T.
J Yeldon a little bit of work.
Um, you know, Gordon Yeldon can go into the game and have Singletary as a healthy scratch in a sense, and then have him fresh for a week for a swell, because for some reason, we haven't seen T.
J Yeldon yet this season.
I know, like, you know, you fumbled Week one, preseason, and there's some people doubting he's gonna make the team, you know, just from the contract situation point, we signed up for two years, $4 million or something like that here.
He was gonna make the team just from a contract standpoint, I believed.
And, um, you know, we've been using the heck out of Patrick DeMarco.
Murray? Yeah, Patrick, our full bed.
Can't think his name right now, but, uh, Patrick tomorrow, So we may see a little bit more out of him, but I'd like to see Yeldon gets some work.
You know, keep keep pouring their toe, get the great ers and do some past pro and then have yelling out there, catching some screens and doing some stuff because you saw a week for the preseason game, just what he can do.
I almost feel like we're establishing Singletary and given Gore reps and yelled in just kind of been the casualty of that.
But you know what With this team, I love the way the coaches on rotating players, and we're gonna have healthy fresh guys all year because this team is deep and that's gonna really help us.
Hopefully, when it comes to injury front as well.
So just love the way of coaching staff has approached it so far.
Speak of injuries on journey.
Roberts is still gonna be out with that quad injury, and Theron Johnson is going to still be out.
Um, which surround? You'll feel them pretty well last week, current in that nickel corner role safety.
We also got DeMarlo.
We've been stepping up in that role as well.
So, um, all those guys are her second area are just so versatile and that's, you know, comes back to what teammate Beans been bringing in years.
He's highly versatile guy, so we have really nothing to worry about, Um, a little bit of news from around the league and how it kind of affects the Bills.
The biggest one, obviously, as we saw a couple of veteran quarterbacks get hurt and Drew Brees with a thumb injury might come back towards units in Bridgewater.
Keep that team held together.
Um, and then obviously, Big Ben Ben Roethlisberger, elbow injury, noncontact elbow injury Looks like a Tommy John's kind of a situation.
So he's definitely done for the year that we used them with Mason, Rudolph and then the Steelers.
Very next day sign make a Fitzpatrick traded first round pick swaps mother later round picks to even things out.
But, um, you know that leads the Steelers and the throw into, and they're important cause we're playing the NFC North this year.
It leaves question marks for sure, but the fact that if they're gonna be as bad as what some people think and they still treat to raid their first round pick for Mika Fitzpatrick when they could easily picked up, you know, one of these good quarterbacks coming out next year that they have some confidence.
And Mason Rudolph when we saw him come in and play pretty decently for just being thrown into the role of me is 1/3 round pick. Their value there.
Um, he's a big guy, you know, kind of like Josh. Helen.
It's hard to take down, so it's gonna be interesting.
Um oh, The other thing with Mason Rudolph is James Washington is a guy.
I kind of had my eye on fantasy purposes and whatnot.
He kind of jumped out the field and flashed her meter in preseason.
So I picked him up my last pick of the draft, thinking he's gonna have a good year.
He has really done anything so far because him and Big Ben just haven't been on the same patient correctly, but office.
Just not looking great as it is.
But I think it makes a fruit office.
James Washington have played together in college, have chemistry, and that's why I keep Flash so well, probably in preseason, because he knew exactly where this guy wants the ball.
So if there is, ah you know, positive light shining situation.
Maybe Mason Rudolph comes in and revitalizes team a little bit.
Little youthful energy.
See, James Washington starts flash again.
I don't know what's going on.
James Conners knee.
But if they could get a running game, which we just seems like because they have a good offensive line.
And where was running the ball for the Steelers? Lost right hard.
They're gonna get four yards.
So I'm not ruling the Steelers out, um, this season and, uh, speaking of the A F C North, I mean, we're gonna have to play the Browns coming up around Week 10 and just a quick opinion on the Browns.
They're dangerous team on paper, and they haven't quite playing up to their expectations yet.
And I believe that really comes down to their offensive line.
So if their offensive line doesn't gel and I mean soon Baker, Mayfield get a plane.
By the time we see impress this guy, he's taking two plus crushing hits.
He got really smacked around week one, and he took two monster heads and weak, too.
He can't be feeling too good.
You look at him after the game.
He just looks shot, you know? I mean, he's not a big guy.
And with guys like him and Russell Wilson, they could be so dangerous if you could give him, give him, Give him a pocket to work with.
And it's a lot to move outside the pocket and not get blindsided.
And I have to worry about it because soon as you start worrying about it, you're seeing ghosts.
And as much as I love you like Manning, who we kind of started this off with, I just feel like even though he had a decent offensive line like he starts seeing ghosts tucks the ball down and it just takes a sacher way too quick sometimes.
So I'm just gonna start to wrap this up.
Um, really looking forward to the bills.
My office showing up home opener.
We really showed up weeks.
Wanted to invent life enough that we're pissing their fan base off. It was great.
Um, quick, side note.
If you guys are ready, get on Reddit and follow the Buffalo Bills.
That shit is hysterical.
Um, also, if you guys are sportscaster, follow my friends.
Hashtag sports believers talk.
Those guys are awesome.
And even the reason I do this stuff just trying to get my opinions out after you listen to these guys and I kind of a little late on this video.
You Normally I would try to do this after the Monday night game or something like that, but I kind of like to listen to the media here.
If they have to say, I get a lot of people's take something is taking all the information and what's going on.
And, you know, just like in the last 24 hours we saw the Fitzpatrick trade all this stuff going down.
So it's Ah, it's interesting to see where the bills airheaded get a little more media attention in a positive light.
And, uh, you know, let's see how we circle the wagons, school bills.
