What is happening, guys, it's every day ff be here getting ready to cover some injuries.
Uh, Monday night football.
Connection was a little, uh, you know, it's kind of glitch in.
Hopefully, you guys gonna see this Pretty pretty fine.
We'll talk Monday night football, some injuries and, of course, the Jalen Ramsey trade that I'm sure some of you may have just seen.
But, you know, first things first.
Uh, have you have your questions on Twitter? DEA, me? Uh, I'm looking for Syd of stardom.
Questions, Any type of questions.
I'll be the mailbag segment every Tuesday and Wednesday.
Be post not tons of videos.
Dancer in all your guys Questions.
This is fun stuff for me.
So, you know, I just love making these, But let's get into thinks, uh, first things first the Jalen Ramsey.
Let's talk that that kind of just broke news that he requested a trade.
His agent has requested for a trade, and the Jaguars are looking for a trade partner.
There's been talks that since he got into a big, heated argument with his head coach on the sidelines during the game that that can't really be mended, and they just both players have to move on and walk away.
It's, ah sucks because Jalen Ramsey was kind of franchise player for the Jaguars.
But, you know, it's just that the end of day business comes first and the NFL's a business.
And if too two business partners don't work well together, then that's it.
So I think Ramsey does get traded very, very soon.
I've heard it could happen this week, but the Jaguars do play on Thursday night against the Titans, which is coincidentally, one of the trade partners or one of the teams that Jalen Ramsey said he wanted to play for.
He said he wanted play for the Raiders and the Titans.
I believe the Raiders, because they're moved to Vegas and they're gonna be one of the biggest marketing teams.
He could make a lot of money in Vegas.
The Titans, his boys, Aaron Titans.
He's got Taylor Lewan, that whole offensive line.
And he was on busting with the boys and Tilda Juan's podcast.
So their own great friends and I wouldn't be surprised if they trade happened.
I would be a little sir presidents in division rivals, but I wouldn't be so much surprised because the Titans they have the capital.
They could pay for Ramsey.
They could re sign him.
And I think they would want to trade for him if they knew Ramsey would re sign, although it isn't in division rivals, so they might have to pay up a little more.
But it'll be an interesting situation, something that you probably wanna watch out for.
But some other teams that have a high salary cap who could afford him colts I definitely could could make a move improved.
Their defense absolutely help logically percent.
I don't really see them making a trade.
They just drafted Greed Williams.
They have guns Award, both very, very young quarterbacks, both contracts.
So maybe they do make a trade, but I just can't see that happening.
They greediest looks pretty well in the first game, and he looks pretty good preseason, so I don't think they make a trade.
The Dolphins, of course, they're out there, but he's not.
There's no way of dolphins will make a trade for him.
They are tanking this year.
That's another kind of interesting one.
I don't see the Eagles making a trade for him.
But you know Doug Peterson? He loves his trades.
He tried to trade from helping.
Gordon tried giving up Jordan. Howard in 1/5.
Didn't work out so well.
So I don't think the Eagles would be such a good trade partner.
He could go side by side to Davis White.
That would be That'd be a nice tandem.
Uh, bills have fifth caps, both cat, fifth most cap space was a tongue twister.
But Bill's conducting afford him.
It's if they do want to make the trade form.
I definitely think he would be a good suitor in Buffalo, but he trashed Josh L and so I don't know.
He, um he and Joshua Alan don't have some.
I don't exactly have good history, so I doubt he goes to Buffalo.
Number six. The Titans.
They could afford him.
It's if they want to trade for him.
You know, it will be hard for the Jaguars to trade.
They're starting their star player to marry Is Tom Tree stumps That just got a notification about to Marius Thomas.
Ah, he's active for Monday Night Football.
I'll get to that later.
Anyways, uh, I don't know if they want to trade Jalen Ramsey to an inn division rival, someone they're about to play on Thursday night, and someone they're going to have to play two times a year every year.
And not to mention you could see it in the playoffs, too, so it would be hard to see him going there.
I definitely see the Raiders, who are seventh most cap space, than being a more ideal spot for Jalen Ramsey.
He would obviously want to resign there, them being a team that he likes and moving to Las Vegas.
I assume he wants to be in Las Vegas.
Um, I mean, who wouldn't? Honestly, it's crazy City, Very warm.
But, you know, the Raiders also lost Johnson Abrams there, rookie safety.
So I don't know if they want to like trying to beef up their defense when they just lost a piece.
It'll be interesting, but I think a team definitely makes a trade forum.
I'm just gonna mention coz you have to the Lions.
I would freak out if the lines may have trade for him or did something sent the first rounder and, uh I don't know what trade would look like, but a first rounder and something else to get, uh, Jalen Ramsey to go side by side.
Darius Slay would just Oh, my goodness, that would be so good in math.
Patricians defense with Justin Coleman and quandary digs.
Oh my gosh, look here.
Would there be ambience saying they would be to lock down corners? But this jail Ramsey talk is going to be interesting.
I'll cover it all.
I'll be posting everything a sap as fast as I get the notifications.
You know I have in Rapid Where am Chef? For just about every big time NFL news breakers, so to speak, on my notification.
So I'll get it within a second.
I'll tweet it out I have to do is just follow me, and it's like following all those other guys.
So that's what one cool thing like I should follow me.
You know, I break news pretty fast.
I love to do it, but on to our next topic the injuries.
The injury bug really, really has hit hard the 1st 2 weeks, especially with quarterbacks.
We saw Nick Fools going down with a broken clavicle and then garden meant you had to step up.
And now we just saw Ben Roethlisberger with an elbow injury out for the season.
Big Ben's gonna be missing 14 games, so I'll I'll get talking about what that's gonna mean for Judy James Washington, Dr Moncrief, Vance, McDonald and even James Connor.
But another person who got injured was Drew Brees.
That was brutal.
I can't believe Drew Brees thumb injury.
It was just a simple, you know, little smack on the hand.
He, uh, tore a ligament and his thumb. Drew Brees.
A very, very durable guy will be out.
Teddy Bridgewater will have to step up and lead the way.
But, you know, Teddy Bridgewater was hostas the highest paid backup quarterback in the leak, so I definitely think he's prepared for the situation.
He obviously knows the playbook.
Ah, he's been there for a couple of years, and he even wanted to come back to be a backup and hopes he could take that that role from Drew Brees.
What he retired.
So he chose a backup job over a starting job.
I think that shows a lot of his character.
What he wants to do and what he's all in for.
And he's all in for the Saints, and the Saints are all in for him.
So I definitely think it's not the worst situation world.
Yes, it does suck that Saints just lost Drew Brees.
Hall of Fame quarterback, possibly one the best quarterbacks of all time, if not the best.
Statistically, I think this is gonna impact Michael Thomas.
You know Ted Ginn, Trey Kwan Smith and Jared Cook.
The most avid car, of course, will take a hit.
I'm not really sure if Teddy Bridgewater will be targeting his running backs a whole lot, so I think you can just phase out.
I got a little Paula start about that.
I think you could just phase out with devious Murray.
I'm not sure Teddy Bridgewater is a running back target er, so Octavius won't have too much of a role.
I do believe it's a downgrade on the offense.
I think Drew Brees gives them a lot more scoring opportunities and scoring chances than Teddy Bridgewater would.
So Jared Cook Octavius Murray.
I think they take two biggest hits.
Next up would probably be like the wide receivers tranq want whoever that number to us.
I think Michael Thomas will still be very consistent just because he's the go to. He's the man.
Everyone knows that.
I think tomorrow you know he won't drop off too much.
He'll still be very, very good standard and very good in half quick PPR.
But I think his ceiling is kind of gone for that number.
One overall spot for running backs in PPR league I don't think I don't think that's possible.
I mean, could it happen with Tamara? She's just so talented, Yes, but I think guys like, say, Quan, Zeke, I think they're They're sealing for, ah, number one overall.
Running back is much, much, much higher.
Even Christian McCaffrey, even with how bad can new it's playing.
So let's touch up on Ben Roethlisberger.
He went down with an elbow injury, was questionable return people thought, OK, it's just a little double injury.
2 to 4 weeks, Maybe he'll come back in the game.
But they were wrong.
People were sadly mistaken, and Big Ben eyes going to be out this entire season.
It sucks for Steelers fans.
This is going to be kind of a wash season, almost unless Mason Rudolph is the real deal.
He can come in to do something special.
But I'm not sure about that.
He's still a young kid.
It's is going to be his first career start next week.
It'll be interesting.
He they play on the road against the 40 Niners, a pretty easy team.
But, you know, the 40 Niners defense did look pretty good.
Uh, they took down two pretty bad teams, though.
James Winston, the Bucks and Andy Dalton bangles.
So I mean, is the defense that good? Probably not.
But they do have Nick Bosa, Richard Sherman, Jason for at some some star players.
Um, I think this effects James countered most.
I definitely think James Connor is.
His stock falls even more.
I I've never been a James kind of lever, so thankfully, I don't own any of his shares.
And I even said he was gonna have a bad week of this week, and sure enough, he got bailed out by a touchdown.
11 carries, 33 yards.
He just looked bad.
He I just don't think he has counted enough.
He wasn't drafted to be the number one running back.
It just I know he looked very, very good last year, but sometimes when players don't have you know any tape or anything on them, they just they look a lot better when further first few games.
And I know we played the whole season and looked amazing, but I just I wasn't quite sold on it.
He slowed down at the end of the season, so I think this this really makes James Connor take a hit.
I think you still obviously start him every week.
You know, he still got that RV to even R B one upside.
Uh, I think he's more off like a back and R B two now or a uh, not back and our B to a high end R B two.
I think he's a real back and R B one, at best for a ceiling.
I think this floor is a mid range R B two of these in this David Johnson type role.
Now, you know, I think how David Johnson was last year, he kind of just was no average and not what you had hoped for.
As for where you drafted him condoms draftable later.
I just I don't believe in him without us is Big Boy, Big Ben.
So another player that's gonna take a hit is juju.
I think he takes a small head, you know, he's still he's still going to be very good this year.
But I don't think he's going to be wide receiver one overall.
It sucks so much saying that side, so much confidence in him.
But you know, next year come back stronger.
You're gonna have Big Ben back next year, maybe get some chemistry down with a new quarterback, potentially the quarterback of the future.
So I think this is good in the long run.
For them to get some chemistry going.
Even makes enough to get some chemistry of James Washington we played with at Oklahoma State and Donte Moncrief, who needs all the help in the world and advancement down, who threw two touchdown passes to so May Smirnoff.
I think Vance McDonald gets a maybe a little bit of a bump just because he could be a tight on target guy.
I think I think he's gonna be being not too shabby, though I don't think Mesaros will be as bad as a lot of people expect, he will be a nice filler.
I don't think the Steelers are anywhere near close to a playoff team or, you know, close to it.
I think they're gonna be like a six in 10 79 which is so weird from Steelers.
Normally, they're so dominant, but a tough season for them.
So moving on to Monday Night Football, the Browns versus the Jets and somewhere to say, literally like two years ago.
Browns versus Jets.
I have seven fantasy football teams, and it comes down to this game with all those fantasy teams.
I wish I want to believe that.
But here I am. I'm in that situation.
I have some lovely on Belle shares.
I'm playing against some Baker Mayfield load of Oh, bjs Jarvis Landry, James Jamison, Crowder.
There's just so much in here.
Even without seeing Donald playing, there's still tons of fantasy guys.
I think this is gonna be a fun game to watch.
The Jets are home underdogs.
They were getting getting six and 1/2 points Browns.
They looked horrible last week, and the Titans just absolutely gave them a spanking.
The the Jets looked great to start off, but then they just they had a 16 3 lead and blew it.
And, uh, Josh Allen led them down the field blood the bills on the field to a victory where the Jets kind of choked it away over under its 45.
Give me the the under.
Um, I think there's gonna be a low scoring game.
I think this is gonna be a real defensive game.
And, uh, I'm going to take I don't like the Browns, but no, Give me the Jets.
I'm gonna take jets in the points.
I think their home.
I think love Ian Bell is going to step it up.
Hey, tweeted about it.
Even he said, We want the fans to show up.
I think the fans are gonna show up.
They're excited to see their new players love Ian Bell.
Um, same Donald can't make it out.
But you know Trevor Simeon.
He's been he's He wasn't NFL quarterback starter before, so he's got it in him somewhere.
He's just got to find it.
Um, I think the guys that are gonna have big games are gonna be Nick Chump in O B.
He's just I think he's gonna have a vengeance with what Greg Williams said, He's he's pretty mad, you know.
Those comments were stupid off their grand blames to say that, O.
Who like Who says that? Come on.
Of course, you know BJ is, uh I think is gonna make him pay for it, I think.
Baker Mayfield, you know, well, obviously get him the ball, O P J o off the ball more.
And Baker just simply needs to play a little better.
285 yards and three interceptions last week.
That just does not.
That will cut it for the season and even nicked Trump. 17.
He It's good, but he needs to get more.
Working needs to get that touchdown.
He needs to be involved in the past game.
Or, I believe I think the Brown Street incorporate Nick Chop, one of their a great catch and run player into their past King.
He had, ah, phenomenal, phenomenal around the back catch last year in the corner of the end zone.
It was just insane, but yes, so some other news and notes We got our Adam Venit Terry, head coach um of the Colts said that he's our guy.
He will not be retiring, so that's good for military.
This is happy ending.
I hope he kicks some game.
Winning field builds drills every extra point.
I'm definitely rooting for him. The guy's great.
I'm gonna you know, Maya's well, while I'm talking, I'm gonna touch up on the Sunday night football game.
This was pretty crazy.
The Falcons took it, took the Eagles down and a 24 20 victory.
They looked a lot better than they did last week.
Their offense could actually get going, even though met crying, threw three interceptions and look just kind of bad it sometimes he still came out with the wind.
The big play the game was that Julio Jones screen pass, where he went honestly, like 60 54 yards for the touchdown.
It was just, Ah, Jim Schwartz getting burned simply.
He was blitzing them all game long, and sure enough, they caught him and they did a little screen past Julio Jones, an excellent blocked by, uh, Jake Matthews and turn off he was gone.
Uh, there wasn't really much the Eagles could do.
They still had time to come down, but in the end they they couldn't get it done.
The choked, uh, Carson once could certainly play a better game.
25 43 1 interception, one touchdown, two interceptions, 61.
Only 10 carries, 28 yards.
His long swan was five yards.
That's not good.
Jordan Howard. Eight. Carrie.
So this is still a timeshare backfield? Uh, no. Darren Sproles.
He didn't get any carry, so that was interesting.
He did see some targets.
He saw three targets.
But still, that was nothing compared to Zach Ertz.
Is 16 targets? Yes, I said it. 16.
Hertz is still the target man in town.
Obviously, he caught half of those eight balls for 72 yards.
He was just a yard short of getting a first down to extend the drive.
To maybe have the Eagles score touchdown and go go up and win the game.
What didn't happen? They made the Falcon's being excellent tackle and he was stopped.
Uh, Nelson, Jaguar, 11 targets, eight receptions.
This game was so weird.
I had to Sean Jackson and it really sucked.
I it sought, uh, seeing him questionable, even though he was just out the entire game.
I wish you would at least got something.
But, you know, that's how fancy football goes. That's how this goes.
But, uh, I'm getting ready to you watch this.
The money in a football game.
