What's going on? Unwrapped family and the beautiful sportscaster community recording outside.
It's a beautiful day here in Los Angeles, North Hollywood, to be exact and Mrs Van Nuys for my location, but wanted to chime on what just happened with Antonio Brown.
I'm not gonna get into too many vulgar details, but also mentioned the waiver wire pickups for me and thank you so much at Coach that sent me whistle.
I appreciate that, man.
Thank you, everyone for tuning and also check out the rest of the U.
S and staff at sportscaster dot com slash unwrapped.
Anyone with a U.
S Senate at the end of their names will be putting out amazing content from Unwrap Sports Network.
So thank you guys so much for turning into my stream.
All my people stream.
We're having so much fun with this, and the NFL continues to give a story after story to talk about.
If not, you know, I'm always here for fantasy football advice.
Tell you guys what's up every single week.
I'm not gonna get into the vulgar details like I said with Antonio Brown, but he is now being accused of sexual assaults and multiple other kind of weird folds in this mix that I'm not gonna get into.
It was kind of very vulgar situations, things that she It's a former trainer of his and they actually went to college together.
Essential Michigan. Her name is Britney Taylor.
It's public information you could see online right now.
Of course, that's why we're all reacting to it.
It's really unfortunate to see just another story like this folding in the NFL.
If it's true or if it's not false allegations awful.
If something like this happened awful, I think they're both absolutely terrible.
Obviously, if it was true, it's the worst it can be.
False allegations are, I think, should be punishable.
But at the same time, if it's not, then he should be out of the league and she should be heard no matter what's happening.
I understand it's hard to come out in the Open.
I understand people keep saying that timing's a little fishy.
I'm not gonna look into the timing.
I'm not gonna sit here and speculate for me.
I'm just here to tell you guys what's going down.
Um, you know, some things that were done.
She was saying, without her consent and things like that he is now.
I believe his side is now countersuing, which you should do if you're innocent, so we're going to see how this pans out.
I just wanted to update our listeners and people that tune into my stream about what's going on with Antonio Brown so much this offseason, starting with him.
Bring his feet in that hypothermic chamber and, of course, two different grievances with the NFL that he lost.
And then, of course, weaseling his way from Pittsburgh and Oakland and finding his way onto the Patriots, which is his preferred destination all along.
But now this is coming out, and it's just seems like another thing for him.
It's just been a really unfortunate off season for Antonio Brown and Antonio Brown fans is really what I'm gonna highlight because these guys are celebrities.
These guys are massive athletes, and they need to realize that people look up to them.
So regardless, if this particular thing is true or not, look, Antonio Brown's off seasonal as a whole.
That's what I'm talking about.
The fact that he's done all of these different things treated teams the way he has the GM Mike may act the way that he did.
It's just showing people that you can run your world, however you want to be defying.
You don't have to listen to any authority.
You can sit here and make a fool of yourself and people around you, and it's OK.
You'll still get rewarded with another guaranteed contract on a better team and continue to feed into this bullshit.
So I'm not gonna read to India.
If this is true or not, it's just another story surrounding him.
And that's the last thing that he needs right now.
And blessing that the NFL needs because, like I keep referring to, it's just awful that this shit keeps happening every single week.
It seems like in the NFL, obviously it's over exaggeration.
But there's something else that's screwed up that happens with the NFL from last year's anthem debates.
The domestic violence from last year, you know, the year before.
Obviously, it's always been a thing, but the frequency and how much it's vamped up and all of the scumbag stuff that's happened, it's no longer just people that the Oakland Raiders and the Cowboys take on bad boys.
That you know you want to take a chance on now.
It's just what's true, what's not.
Why does this keep happening? We just wanna watch football.
We don't want this much controversy, and these are NFL athletes, so keep yourself out of situations like this.
Keep yourself away as best as you can.
Don't be an idiot like Zeke was, for example, at the music festival running around on God knows who want, you know, knocking over security guards.
That's things that you can avoid, of course, if these air women from your past or anything like that that May of came back to bite you in the butt or they're just Fox's accusations.
Of course, I'm never here to judge someone until they are ran through the legal system, proven guilty and proven innocent.
Everyone deserves justice.
Everyone deserves a platform.
But I just would like to see these stories stop continuing to pop up so often so we can focus on the game that we all love.
And it's just doesn't seem to be happening.
What is often in other leaks? Not that this is a thing that Onley NFL players do.
Obviously, that would be ignorant to just group them together as the only people that are doing this and course other leagues, too.
But it seems more frequent.
You all have to agree with me on that.
I am sad to have to report on this.
As much as I have to sew for the NFL, I hope that they can get to the bottom of this.
I hope that they can figure it out.
I don't like how they handle be, you know, Hill situation or anything like that.
I feel like no matter what goes on, if this is something that the NFL should take a public matter on, you make statements and be there and really go thorough with this.
I think investigations about a lot of holes in it throughout the last few years with the NFL.
So I really like to see them step it up since the frequency and all these matters have step it up.
Yes, Not hitting people hard is a big deal.
I understand C T is a big deal.
I get that and they are doing very good work with that.
I under I I agree with the helmets and I agree with not having the lower your head all these different changes in the game, but you have some serious PR mess is on your hands and some serious allegations for some of your players.
Some truce. I'm not.
And I think that you need to bring on, you know, maybe a sponsorship with a domestic abuse company or anything like that to where they can show that they're on the forefront and actually care about this matter care that it's such a common thing in the NFL.
I understand the business.
You can't let everything affect you, but at some point you need to give a shit.
So I would really like to see them step up and take the moral high ground.
Even not just the situation.
And don't think I'm just assuming Antonio Brown's guilty.
It's the fact that this is happening so often, so many players throughout multiple years now, not just this year.
And it's something that very much needs to change.
So that's all I'm gonna chime on about the Antonio Brown situation.
Let's switch the gears to talk about fantasy football, which I love talking about always positive for me.
Nothing like the last kind of topic which is always theory and you want to tiptoe around.
This is something I'm balls to the wall.
I love fantasy football.
Keep it honest with you.
You always can d m me and my personal account at Perry Aston, my co host for our fantasy football podcast that's FFB unwrapped in my co host Adam at everyday FFB were always there to answer your questions.
We may be putting out a podcast tonight recording.
I probably ended that up.
Put it later on this week.
If not, we're gonna be recording at some point this week.
I know it's been really tough and acted with beginning of football season us launching this amazing partnership with sportscaster and putting out so much NFL and fantasy football coverage anyway, So we are an absent by any means.
We are right here on this app killing it, and we're having such a fun time like they keep alluding to thank you so much to the people that sportscaster and unwraps sports network.
For all the continued dedication and work that we all continue to put in, it's an honor for me to be a part of it, and I am honored that you guys tune in to hear the rant about crap and listen to my opinions and actually value those because I value yours as well.
So continue to comment on my livestream.
So that way I can answer all of your questions.
Give my take on your opinions.
I really, truly, Carol answer every single one.
So I start ignorant and, you know, throws me off stream.
So make sure to stay active with me.
It's my favorite part about this up.
It's my favorite part about the network and the fact that we're also active.
I think as of yesterday, we had seven people out of the top 45 for views.
I did the entire sportscaster leaderboard.
I don't know how that's gonna continue.
Hopefully we continue to infiltrate it even more.
But we're so proud to already be getting so much attention from you guys and being able to drive in so many of our people to this amazing platform that it's still up and coming in.
And still people need to see this sportscasters amazing and thank you guys for being on it.
Let's get back to fantasy football guys.
We got my waiver wire pickups mean Adam put these together on a weekly basis.
It's called our fire waiver wire.
We have this year a little bit of a change.
We're going smaller leagues and deeper leaks.
So for smaller leagues this year, so that would be closer to an eight team, A 10 team and a deeper league, more being along the lines of 14 16 even some of the crazy leagues.
And I'm interested to see the kind of rosters that Aaron 20 people weeks, but that's a lot to handle.
I think my opinion, the sweet spot is 12 people.
You still get your fair share of stars I like to do to flex spots.
Some people like Super Flex I like either.
So as long as there's to flex spots, you're challenged instead of just one flex spot in a deeper bench.
So that's definitely our preferred route of playing it unwrapped sports network, especially with my family league and everything like that.
So are smaller league accusations this week that we were hoping that you go for on the fire waiver wire and guys you should be looking out for and this is strictly upside.
Of course, Mark He's Brown Hollywood Brown on the Ravens put up two touchdowns, some serious big plays with the Mark Jackson.
Yes, they were playing with the paper Thin Dolphins.
People gonna wipe their ass with them the entire year, but that's a performance that is worth noting.
And with Lamar Jackson, he the story all off season's been how he's improved so much as a passer.
And the fact that he comes out this first week and puts a perfect passer rating that is impressive.
You need to admit that so any my Lamar Jackson haters, I can't wait till he continues to show you throughout the season.
It's not just the Dolphins, but it seems like that's the only counter argument people have now.
But Porky's Brown's gonna benefit from John Brown.
Not being there anymore, of course, and other changes to that team, to where he's gonna be a big play threat and he still had multiple big plays.
So I don't think this is one of ah Boomer, but it is in a sense, a boomer bus guy.
But I still think that he's going to continue to improve as a receiver because of the fact that he is so young and he's a rookie and he's gonna get that report with Lamar Jackson.
I think it's gonna be much more than just a boomer bus deep guy.
He'll be able to, you know, really fine tune his skills as a receiver.
And, of course, like I said, his report with the team and he will continue to be valuable with fantasy football, a solid waiver option and a solid flex option, depending on the kind of leave that you're playing.
And if you have more detailed leagues, everyone has different settings in different ways that they play.
So you're gonna, of course, message me And here after the fact on Twitter or anything like that, so I can specifically tend to your league and what may fit for you.
Another. My next guy, Michael Gallop.
I had him rostered in almost every league, so, like I said, this is smaller leagues.
Maybe guys that didn't go for him strictly off upside.
I'm a couple of fan myself on top of covering NFL on around a year round basis.
So for me, I know exactly the kind of player that he is the kind of camp that he had the kind of hype that was behind him, with a lot of the trusted reporters that I follow out of Cowboys camp.
So to see him come out like this week, one put up almost 20 fantasy points, depending on the league setting that you're playing in roughly.
It was very impressive, seriously, and that's not a fluke.
The Giants of as well, they suck.
I am gonna give you that.
Yes, Jack Prescott as, well, perfect passer rating against the Giants.
I get it. That's your counter argument.
But he's showing up when it counts.
The money is about to show up for him.
He's really playing well, and I think it all comes down to his preparation that he's put in this season.
So we're gonna keep going.
Michael Gallop, of course, is that guy John Brown.
A guy just mentioned who was on the Ravens last year.
He's on the bills now and again.
This is for smaller leagues.
I had him rostered in most of my leagues as one of my last bend slots.
I knew the kind of report that he gains quickly with every quarterback that he's played with in his career.
He is one of the more underrated receivers in this league.
Yes, he is, Ah, slot type receiver.
But at the same time he could play on the outside.
He could make that big play.
Josh Island's gonna need tohave reliable guys on this offense, and he's gonna continue to impress.
Honestly, I think that he's a guy that can start really any league.
If you have a to flex Lee.
He's definitely a streamer that you can put in depending on match it.
But I really liked his matchup last week with the Jets on my Sunday morning stream.
I told you guys to start him if he was on your roster already.
So you guys know that I know what's up when it comes to John Brown.
And at least with Michael Gala by Adama's well, Dak Prescott, a guy that I recommended playing for good reason, he's gonna eat.
That's why Michael Gallop and Lamar Jackson and I recommended playing as well.
I knew he was gonna eat.
Hence marquees brown.
So it all correlates.
Listen to what I'm saying.
I'm not as stupid as you think.
Sometimes we have T J Hawkinson as the tight end from the Lions right there as the last guy on our smaller leak streams put up a great, great game.
Seriously, I thought that he was gonna take a bit for him to find his report with this Lions offense with Stafford.
And he's a rookie.
So you are gonna get cut him that slack if it takes him a few weeks, comes out looking great.
I'm not going to replace him over some of the top end tight ends.
But if you were a guy that has a guy like Vance McDonald or Trey Burton or anyone along those lines, he's not a bad idea.
Bad idea to stream and see who may fit better with matchup each week.
Another guy, Darren Waller.
I didn't put him on here cause I expected to be rostered and more leagues already with the Antonio Brown situation.
I'm sure people picked up and I saw that the number of leads that he was rostered in went up in a big way.
So for him, I didn't have him clearly on here.
But if he's available in really Waller, go grab him 100%.
A great story I talked about on one of our broadcast is well recovered addict like myself.
Always talk about that.
I've turned my life around in a big way, and I know that he's the kind of guy that has to earned himself a starting Ross response for the Raiders.
And I root for guys like that.
Absolutely. The comeback story is fantastic.
Second chances or what it's all about.
Deeper leagues, guys.
Malcolm Brown There's a lot of browns on this waiver wire.
Pick of our keys.
Brown, John Brown, Malcolm Brown.
Brown picked him up this week and we got a plane flying over.
So excuse the loud noise over me, but I couldn't pass up sitting outside tonight on this beautiful Los Angeles evening and for anyone that's not here wanted you guys to just feel a little bit jealous from me.
So we're gonna go to Malcolm Brown, a guy that ate into girlies workload more than I think any girlie owner wants.
I was nervous if I was a girlie owner, of course, for me, I didn't want any part to do with that situation unless the ADP was fantastic.
And for me, a lot of guys reached on him and most of my drafts.
So I'm not a big, girly guy for 80 p reasons.
And because of the fact that it's good for the person that they're gonna ease his workload and continue to get other parts of this offense going, it's not good for the fantasy person.
So I'm glad they're doing it for his health long term.
But for owners of him, that's not the best news to hear Rahim most their most start Harvey want to pronounce it.
He's on the 40 Niners, a guy that's gonna eat because of the fact that Tevin Coleman is now injured, and they already were pretty thin with McKinnon going down.
So this is where fantasy football is just the next man up.
Go look for him, who continued to take advantage of his opportunities last season when he was a waiver wire stream when they were dealing with injuries as well.
So not a bad streamers go get.
He is in the Shanahan offense, and he knows how to use the pieces that he has, regardless of who's gonna roster each week.
We got Nicole Lee Hardman, a guy that some of you guys may have of course, roster, already strictly off height.
But when that Tyree kill situation went down, he was released in a lot of leads, and I think people were waiting to see and semi walk ins in a big way.
So that's a guy that should have already been rostered.
If he's not, go grab him right now. That guy blew up.
But McAuley, Hartman's a deeper league dive for us.
I don't see him as to start right now, but I see him as a guy you may want on your team toe.
Just in case the next guy's gonna be deejay Shark? Yes, unfortunately, Nick Foles out with that injury for about eight weeks, but he still played very well last week.
You could tell that gardener Minshew is no joke.
He played pretty well.
I mean, yeah, the chief's defense isn't very good, but at the same time, he came out confident that was his first week.
I can only imagine how he's going to continue to feel more confident each week as he practices with this team and plays harder.
Competition really approaches his team as a starter, watches film as a starter playing with first Team.
It's gonna make a big difference.
So I think deejay sharks a guy that's gonna be a solid, deeper addition to your team, and I don't see him quite as they must start quite yet, but a guy that I'm keeping an eye on as well.
DD Westbrook's a guy I was high on to begin the season, didn't get off to the best start, but at the same time still ended up with a touchdown.
I was impressed with Dede Westbrook still finding some sort of connection with Gardner Minshew, but deejay Shark was the number one receiver for them for fantasy points.
So I am not gonna I'm going to give respect where it's due and you need to go Ross Stream if he's available in your league and keep an eye on the Jaguar situation and the last guy Terry McLaurin from the Redskins really, really performed well, had a clear connection with Case Keenum and case Keenum proves that he can be a good quarterback as long as you you attend to the things that he does well, as long as you play a somewhat conservative gain conservative game and let him option into things that he knows that he's best at and can build.
His confidence is the game goes on.
He's a good game, Andrew.
He shows Alex Smith flashes, not hate to keep eluding the Alex Smith and a lot of different streams because of the fact that he's liable to play right now.
But he's a very efficient quarterback, Even Dak Prescott.
You know, that's a guy that is very efficient, can still run the ball and be somewhat mobile.
I think moment more mobile than Keenum, I would say.
But Keenan is a guy that can still go get that first down with his legs.
Still have to account for that and the fact that he doesn't have very good weapons on his roster.
Terry MacLaren's a guy that's going to benefit from the fact that Kingdom needs to find a guy, and he may be one of those guys.
So go get him in deeper leagues.
Another guy that I really like.
So that's my fire waiver wire from this week put together by me and everyday ffb Adam.
Of course, we were together on our fantasy football stuff and we're proud to be doing it now on sportscaster I see at semi pro US San What's up, Cory? Yes, McLaurin 4.
Yet do the guys lightning fast Lightning fast John Brown, Another guy that lightning fast, really performed? Well, I don't like him long term.
Agent Green will come back at some point, but that's another guy if he's there to go look for him.
But yet McLaurin is a lot of speed.
That was the one thing that we all knew about him coming into the draft.
Same thing with Macaulay Hardman.
Speed, speed, speed.
So take advantage of that.
I'm so proud to be talking like I keep saying on sportscaster, Keep an eye out for any of our podcast That may be coming up, but, you know, you're gonna get consistent content from us on here were absolutely killing into a shout out to the entire U. S.
