What is up? Everybody at If a student doc here gonna talk some weak one injuries would have right it. Waas.
All right, let's do a little bit of injury talk.
So, first of all, Houston Saints, Houston and New Orleans game is not We're not going down.
The path expected it to go.
I didn't expect it to be 14 to 3.
That's Ah, I think that's a little unexpected.
Uh, what continues to irritate me? Ears hate the crap out of me.
Is the amount of hits that dish on Watson takes because I don't feel like Bill O'Brien does anything in his power to talk to Theo.
I'm watching him land right now.
This looks like he landed on his back.
Ah, I don't see them doing anything to change the protection.
I don't see them doing anything to change even the personnel on the offense of like like I don't see them making any effort.
And then, I mean, maybe he does have these conversations with Shawn.
Maybe he's Maybe he does say, Hey, try to take fewer hits, Try to, you know, stand in the pocket a little, a little You throw the ball away you know, don't stand pocket so long is what I was trying to say.
Maybe those conversations happen.
You know, we'll never know that.
I just have a hard time feeling that they do.
I feel like Bill O'Brien is hanging on to that job.
Ah, and he's just cleaning on to do Shawn Watson and letting him make River decision.
He wants, you know, his health be damned.
Last year he had a was a punctured lung.
I think it was, which is traumatic and what you just saw him do.
So Land boom heart on his back that way is not conducive to protecting his lungs, not conducive to protecting his ribs.
That shot said he takes when he's in the pocket or Joe. It's ridiculous.
The guy's super talented.
The last thing we want him is spiraling into the into what happened? Andrew luck.
So from a health perspective, it's actually the first thing I wanted to talk about.
Keep an eye on to Shawn Watson.
I mean, yes, he has a chance to be Q B one overall in fantasy football, but holy crap, I don't know if I would be comfortable with him.
as my only quarterback, considering how many hits he takes.
Uh, but anyway, and then album Camaro.
I said this on Twitter.
Ah, looks like he may be bruised tailbone from the way he's acting.
Yeah, I haven't seen him walking around.
Ah, but that might mean that's right.
That very well could be the case since you landed so hard on his back.
It seems like it might have been more above an upper back issue, though I don't know, I haven't been paying attention honestly as much.
I've been doing things multitasking.
I have homework and stuff like that.
But I'll have to watch. I'll keep an eye on it.
Thank you for letting me know, though.
You always give me updates, guys, because I'm not paying attention to every single game in every single play, and sometimes a player gets hurt and I'm like, Well, what the heck happened? We'll keep an eye on that.
Yeah, best case scenario to bruise.
Oh, because you can play through Bruce.
It's not a big deal.
Hopefully, he didn't, you know, re puncture a lung or something.
But anyway, something to monitor the same thing goes for album Camaro.
I said this on Twitter.
The album Camaro takes so many hits when he's going outside.
When he takes his takes, his runs to the outside, it catches a little.
That ball flat takes it outside.
He never I've never seen the dude step out of bounds.
I appreciate that.
I appreciate that.
He wants to get every yard, and I appreciate that.
He's, you know, obviously going balls to the wall.
But holy crap, dude, step out of bounds.
He will fight tooth and nail for last.
You know he takes shots, and that's how he got his concussion last year.
Is he just took a big shot right by the sideline, if I remember correctly.
Hey, thanks grew Stream brother.
Ranting is essentially what it is, so but anyway, I'll come here.
Also, I feel like needs that have I need to have a little bit of ah, a little bit of a yellow light there from Sean Penn and I don't know how I don't know how much conversation goes on between those people, but, uh, essentially, what I'm trying to say is that DeShaun Watson and Alvin Kamara, great players, great fantasy football players.
They scare me to death in terms of how high they run, how they aren't as protected when they run album Camaro and super high.
Anyway, it's not what you came here for.
Let's talk about some of the injuries that I saw that I wanted to discuss here.
So Nick Foles and Punches looks like they are headed to the I.
R Remember folks that I r is, if I'm not, if I'm not mistaken, the I r means that they can come back after eight weeks.
And I don't know if that's just from Don't know if somebody can answer that question for me.
I don't know if that's just from the preseason that leads into the rest of season if it bleeds over, but ah, and I'll get to the point here is about to kick off, but the's players can come back after eight weeks.
I'm pretty sure so watch out for fools.
Especially depending on how eight weeks from the point of the going there, There you go.
Appreciate that. So, yes, they can't come back.
Eso watch for nickels.
Potentially coming back.
I know it won't make that big of a difference.
Although he's a receiver, that's a little more difficult.
Uh, Coleman and mixing. All right, Coleman.
So, to two different types of injuries here.
Coleman, she, Tevin Coleman through Sanchez coordinators.
Right. So he had a high ankle sprain.
I've explained this before a high ankle sprain.
You got your shin bone.
You got your outside your little bone.
And what happens is it goes.
What's part? I mean, it is a couple of feet apart, but it ruptures the connective tissue in the middle.
Okay, that take.
That's why they needed an Emory to see what was going on there.
So that's gonna be anywhere from 367 weeks.
It depends on how severe was if it was a great one, then he'll be back.
He could be back in three weeks.
But if it was a great agreed to, then he's definitely gonna be out at least four or five weeks.
Okay, Great. Three.
It could be even longer, but we don't know the extent.
So the opposite of that is Joe Mixon.
Joe Mixon had a low ankle sprain.
Okay, low ankle sprains.
Our best case scenario for Well, I wouldn't say best. Kissner for running back.
I would say the best case scenario for ankles are ankle sprain, low ankle sprains like that Nixon had.
So essentially, it was an inversion lateral ankle sprain his outside of us, but was here anyway.
Okay, And essentially, what happens is the ligaments get strained.
The best part about those types of injuries is that you can rehab them Capri, have them.
I'll talk in between place and see what breeze does here, Booger McFarland said.
Let's establish the run, and maybe it'll do that.
And they sure do one yard in time.
So low ankle sprains are a little better of a scenario because you can rehab them.
You could do some, uh, you can pump the swelling out of there.
You're gonna expect to see mixing, because right now he's already day today.
Ah, he did he step out of bed? Oh, my gosh.
I would have been so excited to see maybe might.
Maybe I Maybe there's a lag.
Uh, but Joe Mixon, he's gonna be on the injury report.
He's gonna be day to day.
It Don't expect him to practice, especially early in the week.
Check first walkthrough.
See if he's on the walk through.
I think I'm a locum era.
Oh, he did. God bless him.
He was stepped out of bounds.
He heard my rant. The universe all was right with the universe.
Okay, anyway, so I expect you're next to me on injury report.
I would still fire him up if he's active.
Don't expect him to be your super productive anything like that.
But especially goes.
I talked to a few people that I had told him.
And if you're Joe Mixon league May is freaking out.
Panic and go get him.
This is a This is a to game and not even at this point is probably a one game Max.
Unless he re injures that one game Max injury for mixing.
So go, go pick mixing up.
Go by him. Whatever.
Yeah, my TV is definitely had a lag.
So, Nixon, his beast.
You are very right.
Well, look, it was us us and showing up.
Now all of a sudden coming in hot with the comments.
So the next person I want to talk about so to ankle sprains.
Coleman will be out for a few weeks and ah, and makes it should be back.
I'm a little concerned about Jude.
You? They had X rays on him.
And so what you need to know? Low angle, Fix a running back, side to side.
Yes, you're right. You're right. No jump cuts.
So if he comes back, he might like I said he might be a little limited.
Ah, but I'm just not seeing a score with the heck.
So yes, jump cuts are gonna be rough for Joe Mixon if he comes back.
Ah, however, if he's out there, there's a chance that you could still be fine.
I would definitely say unless you re injures, uh, two weeks from now, he's gonna be totally fine.
Especially good on you if you have Giovanni Bernard.
Do you do? I'm nervous about Do They did an X ray on which was negative.
I think you would have seen them do an m r i today.
But since it was this foot in his toe From what I read, it still could be Ah, something that continues to bother him because turf toe, you can't pick up ligaments because because they were nervous about his turf toe and all.
Turf toe is essentially when your big toe goes like this and over starts is the ligaments.
Kay, you can't see that on an extra.
You have. You have toe have an m r I.
But the good news is that the X rays were negative, which means that they didn't see a fracture.
Essentially, there's no massive dislocation fracture, anything like that.
Keep an eye on juju.
Because if you remember, Julio Jones has a lot of those issues with turf toe, and it can be scary, so just keep an eye on that, uh, seconds.
Last dude here, Darius.
Guys, I have no idea what's going on.
Various guys, the guy can't catch a break.
I need to go back and watch the film and see how it happened.
Where if it was just bothering him in the first place, but he had it.
He has ah, meniscus issue.
And essentially, how you hurt your meniscus is by planting, compressing down into the knee and then twisting.
Okay, At some point that happened either had somebody land on him.
Something happened where his meniscus was damaged.
Definitely, prayers for guys do.
The guy cannot catch to break him.
And Jerick McKinnon, I I feel so bad for those dudes there.
There's sometimes the thing with injuries is that these air these air elite athletes and a lot of times they just can't hold up to elite standards.
And that's why I go.
I go on a rant about injury prone.
That's why I wrote the four categories of instead of injury prone label is because if they were playing like, yeah, college level ball, they'd be fine.
But considering they're at the highest level of their profession, your body just can't hold up with that grind.
It's unfortunate, but that's just the case for some people.
And hopefully that's not the case with Geiss.
But I guess go pick up Adrian Peterson, 39 49 year old Adrian Peterson, and see if he's got any juice left.
Although that offense is a fantastic anyway, all right, he who shall not be named had a stern okla vehicular dislocation.
Absolutely, Uh, he was not.
She shall not be named clavicle.
Bone went this way and it was dislocated.
The only reason I'm even talking about it to be, to be honest with you, because I try not to talk about this dude is because it was.
That's extremely rare.
And so if anybody wants to buy into the karma narrative, I mean, whatever I think, it's like some number I saw anywhere between, like, seven and 10% of all those dislocations Air Post yearly directed.
The reason that's a problem is because, obviously, right behind here, your collarbone right underneath, it's your first rate.
But underneath that are your lungs.
Sorry, my dogs barking, and that's obviously dangerous for anybody.
So that's just something you're gonna have to monitor.
They said he's gonna avoid the ai R, which essentially means he they don't expect to be out eight weeks, which means potentially that the you have not to get too much into it.
So you have your SC joint.
That's what they're calling it sternal clavicle er and then right behind it.
Like I said, you have your rib, but you're cost of clinical er joint.
And if that if you're his rib didn't also become damaged and structured and mess up there, then it could be still pretty stable.
And that's what they're really worried about right now.
Is stabilizing that joint so that he doesn't have a further another recurrence, right? So it's essentially what it's gonna be a pain, stability.
He's gonna be doing a lot of rehab with the With the Pts and athletic trainers.
He's gonna try to do a lot of isometric, uh, isometric exercises, that resistance exercise, which are hard to do in this position for this muscle for this condition.
But just watch him, um, if you think that you're in fantasy bubble, if you think that your golden that you're gonna have a home stretch I mean, I guess go by him because in all reality, he's, uh, I took a personal stance.
I'm never go for a free country or whatever, right? I think those are the main injuries.
I just let me know, and I will do that.
Obviously, make sure to catch my articles over on unwrapped sports dot com under exports network dot com.
I just can't believe the way this game's going.
This is not what I expected.
Like I said, make sure that you pulled slaw, shout out to James Cole slaw, are you? What is your actual name? Calls like you're still watching.
Don't think I've gone too before.
I know, Sam, and no, you're not stand.
Uh, but anyway, if if something major happens, let's write.
No, I didn't know that.
Lawrence. Sorry, dude. I didn't know that.
I have seen your name.
There are so many people in the group that I just I just confused in up here in my brain, there's too much useless information and knowledge in here about sternal clavicle joints and caustic a particular joints.
Ah, but that's it. All right. No more injuries.
Nothing, really, You guys, because I have 40 seconds now.
I'm just gonna draw it out because I didn't intend for this long.
Um, I really think that's how the direction they're gonna go.
I rarely take victory laps, but since he's healthy, I'm gonna take a victory lap.
I'm going to say that this is what the Rams intended to do all along.
They're trying to protect his knee.
They're trying to protect him in golden situations.
They don't want to use them up, and they expect to be in Super Bowl contention.
Contention by the end of the year.
They'd rather have Todd Gurley and Week 14 then taught early in weeks. Seven.
So that's just like I said.
Expect to see more Mountain Brown Go pick him up on the waiver wire.
Probably not Darryl Henderson as of yet, but all right, if there are no other injuries than that, is it? Enjoy the game.
Let me know if you have any more questions at that student on Twitter.
