This is the line killer podcast, and we're back.
Nate is traveling, so he won't be here this morning.
But we plan to get something together tonight, uh, to do the thing, man.
Uh, man, I noticed something.
I'm really tired of the intro music.
I'm gonna have to change that up.
That came standard with stream yard, and I'm kind of tired of it.
I need to see if I could get some banging track Thio introduce The Lion Killer podcast because, you know, I get tired of I don't like the same thing all the time, So But it's there.
You use it, you make it work.
Yeah, Yeah. Yada yada, sis.
No, guys, I want to get into something.
Um, I was scrolling through my subscriptions on YouTube.
I'm actually not subscribed to too many boxing channels, but one of the ones that I am subscribed to is Mr Boxing today.
Uh, if you haven't subscribed Mr Boxing today, I don't know, Mr.
Boxing today is you need to go and find out his specialty.
His focus is the heavyweight division, and you'll find very few people who gnome or about the heavyweight division and Mr Boxing today, uh, currently and historically so shout outs to Mr Boxing today again.
Go over and subscribe to him.
Check him out here on YouTube.
If you're on a SportsCastr, jump over to YouTube and subscribe to him as well.
Now, the reason I bring this subject up and forgive me, I don't have a lot of time, So I'm gonna drop go about 10 minutes or so.
Um, Mr Boxes today put up a survey on his, uh, on his YouTube page.
And so the question was where the question was most talented Cuban heavyweight of this group.
So your options are Felix Savan.
Jorge Luis Gonzales.
Okay, now I've been around a bit.
I've seen some of these fighters over the course, and, um, I was surprised when I pressed my answer.
Uh, 73% of people 73% of people had Luis Ortiz as the most talented Cuban heavyweight of this group.
It just completely threw me off.
It completely threw me off because this isn't This is totally, totally not true.
Don't get me wrong.
but out of these five guys are Yeah, these five guys, he's number five.
But you won't know that unless you've watch some of the guys in this thumbnail with the exclusion of Ali, the two guys to the well, my right from what I'm looking at.
So you got Felix Savon.
That's the guy in the red with that, that mutated right hand and big club of a right hand, one of the I think he's actually the most decorated.
He's the most decorated international boxer in history, definitely in Cuban history.
But I think in history he is the most decorated international box.
If I'm not mistaken.
Tia Phileo Stevenson, the guy that's standing above him next to Mohammed Ali, who was an amateur during Ali's era, started.
And I want to say he started a 68 Olympics, uh, and and actually competed through the eighties.
Now I'm not the biggest boxing historian I know.
I know my boxing.
I'm not an aficionado of the history.
I haven't invested like that, but I know a lot, and I know enough.
If you don't know anything about T affiliate Stevenson.
If you don't know anything about Felix Savan, Nino Valdez or Jorge Luis Gonzales.
You need to delve into educating yourself about what boxing is because as talented as Luis Ortiz is has avoided, as Luis Ortiz is, he doesn't come close to the abilities of other people.
Two of these people that are pictured here, Tia Phileo Stevenson, is listed at 6 ft three.
He is clearly clearly much taller than Mohammed Ali.
Mohammed Ali is actually 6 ft three or was 6 ft three.
T affiliate has also passed on to pass on a few years ago.
JIA Phileo is about 6667 Consider that in the 19 seventies, late sixties, early seventies, I got it.
You know, if you look at him, Young looks very similar to Mohammed Ali.
I hadn't had extensively.
Long jab had tremendous power, had a lot of knock knock downs and knockouts at the amateur level.
There's video of George Foreman, uh, talking to Howard Cosell during the Olympics.
Looking at Tia Phileo Stevenson's uh um, he's looking at a boxing match with him, and he's commentating with with the Howard Cosell and how Cosell ask, ask, ask him about what if Tia Phileo uh, defects from Cuba and becomes a professional boxer.
And George, like, said, he has the most skill I've seen of any any amateur or pro coming out the bag that that I've seen you could all you could literally here.
The trepidation and George Foreman speak when looking at T afia.
Leo Tia Phileo Stevenson's T affiliate, was a huge dude who had great boxing skill, who had a long ass job.
I don't even know his reach.
I have to look that up feeling Savan knocking people out ridiculously with that club he has over right hand.
Now, historically speaking, most Cuban boxers come to the pros, and they're not a successful as they were in the amateurs.
Different rules, different game, different requirements.
Now you had a lot of you had a lot of Cuban boxers come over like rigging.
Dow Kasam mayor.
People like that who are at the smaller weight classes that have seen much success.
Rigondeaux is a champion.
Casamayor is a champion at the heavyweight level.
It's been a little bit.
It has been a little bit more difficult.
Uh, Luis Ortiz has fought twice for the heavyweight belt, but he's come up short honestly, he was winning both fights on the carts, but he just kept getting caught.
Let's face it, Luis Ortiz eyes is in his forties and he's still able to compete with the best in the business, and he's still being avoided.
He's still being avoided by a lot of guys.
Sorry, that's my phone, guys.
So I want you to consider.
Consider what's going on and consider how talented Cuban fighters actually are.
But that requires boxing education.
In boxing, education is lacking.
You know why it's lacking Because there's so much propaganda.
There's so much.
Oh, Floyd, is this and expenses.
This and Crawford is this and and Lomachenko is this, and it continues over and over and over.
So when people start to put the greatest, uh, subject matter when they say Who's the greatest this and who's the greatest? That you have to have an education in the sport to understand, Uh, toe understand what's going on? I don't get bombarded today.
I got things to do.
But you gotta understand the background.
You gotta understand.
You gotta dive in to footage.
You gotta dive into records.
You gotta dive into encyclopedic knowledge in order to get a comprehensive understanding off the not only the history of boxing but the different styles and techniques, the different victories, who they were against.
You gotta Delph.
Ah, lot of people aren't educated in this sport, so they say any and everything because that's the extent of their knowledge base.
And if you don't have a greater knowledge base, you can't appreciate those that came before those that were probably better than those, uh, that you're currently watching.
Now, Christopher Nicholas says yes, they are Onley in the lower divisions.
Bernard Nexus is salute.
Christopher Nicholas also says t t affiliate Stevenson versus Ali was the match people wanted to see.
And that's arguably the greatest Cuban.
They are the greatest technicians.
You're You're correct.
You're absolutely correct.
Go! If you have never seen Tia Phileo and I'll spell it T e oh, f i l o Stevenson s t e v e n s o n Look him up.
Look up, Felix savant f e l I X s a v o n.
Educate yourselves in this sport.
Give yourself the opportunity toe.
Understand the various dynamics of boxing.
Give yourself an opportunity to understand how strong, how complete the Cuban boxing program is because honestly, in the amateurs, they are the best, consistently and the amateurs, they are the best.
They're the most talented.
They have the deepest pool that is, like, literally the focus.
Yes, there's been great US heavyweights.
I'm not. I'm sorry. Great great U s.
But when you look at depth, wall to wall talent, skill, completeness, you gotta go with Cuba and especially experience.
Since their communist country and these guys can't defect or and and the ones that do, they're not the same.
They don't have the same graduation process as pros and other countries, so some people never catch on.
The heavyweights have never been able to catch on. Gonzalez.
I remember when Gonzales was boxes 6 ft eight had a long ponytail in the back of the ball here with a long ponytail in the back.
Talented guy, you got chin a few times, but very talented boxer.
But he's one of the first super tall dudes that I ever saw.
That inbox, super tall, super large Christopher Nicholas is Ortiz vs Hoosick, or elites uh, say Ortiz with whooping.
There's no reason Mayweather didn't fight.
Laura and Laura be canela.
Yep, there's a said.
There's a reason Mayweather didn't fight Laura and Laura.
Be C****. That's a fact he did.
He got riding the c****.
If I even Canelo knows he lost that fight.
Depth, talent, skill, development, their program is second to none in amateur boxing.
The better the amateur, the more likely the Pro is to be good.
But that's where the that's where the That's where the follow up goes at the heavyweight division.
I don't know why Cuban heavyweight hasn't been able to take a belt yet.
Like I said Luis Ortiz, if Ortiz had gotten through UH, both wilder fights or one of the Wilder fights, he'd be champion.
He'd be champion because he was way ahead on cards.
There weren't rounds until knockdowns that Luis Ortiz was losing.
And consider the fact that Luis Ortiz is at the bottom of this list that Mr Boxes they put out.
In my opinion, he's at the bottom and he's not close to Stevenson.
He's not close to Savan inability.
It's not close at all at all.
Good morning, brother.
What's cracking, man? Christopher Nicholas says.
Rick and I had to go to classes.
No one to fight them.
Ringing down goes up two weight classes because he's destroying people.
He's destroying people in his weight classes.
He goes up against Lomachenko and you know he looks like a dwarf child.
He looked like a dwarf child.
He didn't look like he belonged to their weight.
And at some point, great big man is gonna be being a great little man.
And I'm calling.
I'm not calling Lomachenko great, because I don't I've never thought he was great, but he's there. He's good.
Breaking down is great, but Rick and I was giving up a lot.
Not only in size, weight, everything pound for pound.
Rekindle is a is a kill shot artist.
But the skill of rigging rigging down that is not isolated amongst Cuban fighters.
Cuban fighters are deeply talented again.
I invite you to educate yourself because education in boxing is lacking and that is the bottom line.
That is what we're getting at.
You got a lot of this fan boyish, you know, narrative.
Layton Bs outside of the Lion Killer podcast outside of channels like Mr Boxing today, outside of of of platforms that are trying to educate and further the sport.
Go educate yourselves on T Ophelia.
Go educate yourselves on feelings.
Understand why Luis Ortiz doesn't write that high to me when it comes to heavyweights that come out of Cuba, It's not that he's not talented, it's just these guys.
They're that much more talented, that much more skilled.
You don't watch the footage go read a book, Mr Boxing today.
What's up, man? What's cracking, dude? Dean, I said, Salute, Mr Boxing Today I've been I've been talking about you, man.
I've been talking about you quickly.
What's up, girl? That's puzzle for real, says Salute.
Lion killer Eric, R. Says Shoot.
Had Ortiz gotten that age a fight, he'd be rocking the belt right now.
That's what they didn't want.
This guy is a cut above these guys.
Do you not? Do people not understand that Luisa Ortiz is complete? What A J is trying to establish and learn in the game of boxing right now with what he displayed against Pool F.
Luis Ortiz has that in droves, and he's able to do it because of the level of skill that he attained through the Cuban boxing program applied by his talent, He's able to prolong his career.
He's able to prolong his career to his forties.
He's 41 42 years old, maybe older.
What's riel? If people talk all that noise about Ortio Ortiz Ortiz a bum, So why don't you boys get in there with them? This is the one thing I credit Wilder with.
I credit water for getting getting in there with the second most dangerous guy in heavyweight because you could say all you want, whether you're a Fanboy or fan of a fighter or not, You cannot say that Deontay Water is not the most dangerous guy in the division.
He has a he has one punch kill shot.
That's that's dangerous.
But Luis Ortiz is highly skilled in comparison to the heavyweights of today.
He gives every heavyweight problems he was given.
Deontay water problems could watch those fights.
Mr Boxing Day says.
I wish YouTube allowed me to add a few more Cuban heavyweight to my poll.
I wanted to add Oh Dilanian police and Roberto gelato gold medal winner died very young, who would who have done a video on years ago and also guys I don't even know about.
I'm just giving you I'm giving you.
I'm giving you knowledge on people I know about.
Like I said, Mr Boxing today is extensively researched and educated in the field of heavyweights.
When it comes to the amateur, boxing and pro boxing, that's dedication.
That's a that's being an aficionado.
The food says Salute, line killing, chat quickly, says Keith Alexander.
Queen says I have respect for teas. He's a beast.
And what's so crazy? He's a beast, but he's a cub compared to the guys that are in this thumbnail.
He He's not as talented as these guys are.
That's just that's the truth.
That's why I invite you to go watch, go find out who these men are.
I didn't even show them in their primes for a reason.
I showed them post Felix Savon got some legal issues that I'm not even gonna talk about because it kind of ****es me off.
But as far as his boxing career goes, man, come on.
Like I said, I'm gonna take this out.
Look at that right hand.
That feeding savant has it Looks like a It's a mutation.
I don't know if he broke the hand or not, but it looks like a mallet.
A large mallet, I imagine.
Get Deuce with that T affiliate probably had a 85 86 inch reach.
I'm not sure he had a long ass reach.
Mohammed Ali is listed at 6 ft three.
They said to your Phileo Waas, 6 ft, 6 ft three.
He's about 6667 He is clearly much taller than Mohammed Ali, and this is Mohammed Ali.
When he was still, uh, still fully bodied, he hadn't been weighed down by old age and and Parkinson's.
He had Parkinson's, but he's still a full statue, that XYZ one picture that I decided to pick Go look it up both of them online and Google it, Mr Boxing today says, shaking my head.
I surely thought Stevens in a savant with when the poll.
I was really shocking.
I like Ortiz, bro.
I was shocked to I'm like, Dude, that's the easy one.
It was like easy, I knew, wanted to instantly, and you can.
You can interchange depending on what you think, but one and two is clear cut one way or the other.
But But that shows me, Mr Boxing today that there is.
So that's That's why I did this when I saw your poll, the lack of education, understanding and overall, uh, footage comprehension off the average boxing fan.
It has to be upgraded, just like we need to upgrade our education in American schools.
It's horrible, he said.
Salute qui qui Christopher Nicholas says Jose Napoli's greatest lightweight and welterweight.
He had to go up like Brooke and fight Month zone at middleweight.
He lost, but went down and dominated.
Man, y'all don't If y'all don't know anything about the Cuban boxing program, you don't You're not really boxing heads, but we here to help you.
Listen, I don't pretend to be this encyclopedia boxing.
I know enough, and I always I continue to learn and learn and learn.
But there's things that I that I'm seeing that I know just off the rip that most people have no clue about, quickly says, Oh yeah, against those fellas.
Yeah, I understand what you're saying.
Yep, it's a lot of those fellas.
You know, it's amazing that that that people just don't know No, these histories.
If you're boxing head, this is what you're supposed to know.
De ha just says Salute, bro.
What's up, man? Dion says Mr Boxer today salute the bevel says top of the morning line.
Killer piece. Quick, quick.
What's up? The bevel.
The bell says salute. Dee Hodges.
This is why this channel this platform and I'm on multiple platforms.
This is why we with me and Nate are dedicated to the sport.
We don't need your super chats.
We don't need any of that ****.
We're not requestioning we don't need. We don't need.
We don't need that.
We just want you to be mawr educated more comprehensive in your conversation about a subject that you favor.
Yeah, we could delve in the other stuff, but when we're talking about the sport of boxing, if you come in here and tell me Luis Ortiz.
Uh huh is a greater heavyweight amateur than Tia Phileo Stevenson are Felix Savon? I might clown.
I might clown Nate.
Mike, It's guaranteed NATO clown.
You got to get it together.
Listen, we all have different different levels of this.
So there's many, many, many more people more educated than boxing than me.
Just that's the way it ISS natives, natives, farm or educated than me.
I mean, basically, compared to Nate when it comes to boxing ability, Nate was a pro.
I'm basically a in comparison, a Nate.
I'm a third or fourth grader.
He's a he has a doctorate.
If you understand where you stand, there's room to grow.
So this is not a this video.
This is not any of that BS.
This is learning, finding out, enlightening and illuminating yourselves to what has come before, what has been seen and how you can kind of expand your horizons when it comes to your ability to understand the sport.
You've got to understand this sport.
Boxing education is lacking, and Mr Box in today's polls show how much literally, I think I said, I think it was 73% 73% man.
73% of people thought Luis Ortiz is the greatest Cuban heavyweight boxer.
Come on, man, come on, We got to do better.
Like I said, it's going to get to a point this platforms, because this platform is gonna be niche.
It's gonna be a niche platform amongst a niche sport.
Because unless you're willing to be open minded, unless you're willing to abandon your narratives and your agendas and your propaganda, you won't thrive Online.
Killer Podcast You won't get a voice online killer podcast because we're not entertaining that.
And again, I'm speaking on this because it's problematic and people think narratives and propaganda or education.
People think that arguing about what Bud and and and and Spence arguing back and forth.
They think that is boxing knowledge.
They think that that having gaps in between fights and what people were doing, that's boxing debates and knowledge.
Because I I saw I saw something on A on a debate with two guys and I couldn't believe the bull**** that was being debated.
They're not debating boxing.
They're debating soap operas.
They're debating drama.
They're debating there.
I say, ninja ****, they're they're debating men's and **** **** that's irrelevant.
That does not matter.
My personal opinion is, unless you are are producing a do***entary like blood boxing.
All the hearsay should go to the side all the years, say should go to the back unless it's pertinent to your argument.
It should only be, ah, talking point to assist A main idea.
But the talking points have become the main idea.
This is part of our biggest issue.
This is what we face we face.
We're facing the destruction of boxing understanding.
I ain't worried about what Tia Phileo was doing at his house on March 15th, 1996.
Unless he was knocking somebody out unless he was beating the breaks out Somebody.
I don't care if he was doing farming or whatever they do in Cuba.
I'm not worried about what Errol Spence is doing right now in his ranch.
I don't care what Bud Crawford is doing right now.
This morning, that has nothing to do with me or the sport.
Boxing education is lacking homies.
Boxing education is lacking, and it's up to us to refocus the tool so that that to educates, I'm out on that bs, and if you come in here with it, you're gonna get popped.
If you don't know, Listen, real talk.
I'll let you slide.
Wanted to comments before I say, Hey, man, we don't We don't We don't talk about that.
That type of **** here.
We're not about the drama and controversy.
If you want that, you could take that ****.
Thio them Disneyland's that.
Y'all go to little play parks.
ST. Louis San Lucas. This is Fiji.
When it comes to boxing talk, this is Angel Falls in Argentina.
I can't remem ranch falls is quickly says I don't mention Crawford expense at all.
Mr. Boxing today says debating money splits.
Who's more popular and who I like? Mawr Exactly.
That tells me Mr Boxing today it tells me that you never ****ing box in your life.
It tells me that you you're you're what they call Ah ah! Holder of nut sacks You have.
You hold them and you're trying to be the best ******* holder there is.
I hold up these nuts.
444 for the benefit of man.
He's not so heavy, but I got to carry.
I will not do that for a fighter.
I will not do that for fighter.
I have favorite fighters, but if my favorite fighter has a deficiency, I'm gonna call it out.
I'm not gonna ride rah, sis.
Boom bye for that fighter.
If I feel that there's something short or he lacks something that gets another guy stylistically, you got to call it out. You got to be fair.
You gotta be unbiased.
You have to keep it.
One billion. ****.
You gotta keep it.
One billion as a pistol says fax The bevel, says the champ.
I'm sorry to building a channel I'm reading.
Chase Athletics is angel.
Father is in Venezuela? Yep.
ESPECIAL says it seems that what the media wants, that's what the media wants.
They do very little educating on the sport anymore.
Yeah, it's all about pushing the guy on the promotion.
And if that that promotion is aligned with the network, that's all it wrote.
I just saw the other day, and me and Nate are gonna talk about that tonight.
I was watching the zone.
Um, in fact, I got a picture of it.
I'm gonna read it off to you guys.
I was watching the zone broadcast and they had after the age a pool, a fight.
And they This guy, Chris Mannix Who? I've heard his name, but I don't really know who he is.
And the first thing when I saw his Uh oh, that's the box record.
I'll tell you about the box record.
Let me let me get to the Chris Mannix one.
I got a box wreck pole to That was offensive.
That was outright offensive Now Chris Mannix.
Like I said, I don't know.
The guy is I've heard the name, but I don't know his his top 10 heavyweight rankings.
Check this this bull**** guinea out, as Nate would say, Bull****. Kitty.
Anthony Joshua had number one who's 23 1.
Tyson Fury, 30 and, oh, number one who beat the longest reigning heavyweight champion of this error.
Then he has Deontay while to rank three.
Alexander Preventing Fourth, Delia White.
Luis Ortiz. Eight.
The Most Avoided Man Next Toe Wilder in this Division eight.
Cooper at Pool at nine.
What the **** is Hoosick done to be in the top 10? He was *****ing and complaining about Derek's or the other day.
Are you out of your ****ing mind? But that is what they want they want to manipulate your mind because they know that most of y'all ain't watching ****.
And most of you are not watching boxing.
You're waiting you're waiting to hear from from from your from your platforms to tell you what to think.
And most of the platforms on YouTube ain't ain't ever ****ing laced up the glove.
Ain't ever stepped in a boxing ring.
Haven't even done any exercise.
Chase athletics is peace line killer.
What's going on? Chase the bell, says a side by side Seaside, decide shaking my head, laugh out loud and spills his Mannix is a joke.
This is the epitome of problematic in the sport because boxing education is lacking.
It's absolutely lacking.
You'll smash that like Button.
I need you to smash that like button, because guess what? What I learned is, and I knew this, but I wasn't really parting on it too much.
The like Button gets that algorithm working likes and comments so comment on this mother****ing video okay, likes and comments, likes and comments puts this type of education this type of reality onto the YouTube face so people could see it.
So if you don't smash that light button.
If you don't come in in the comments section, not just in the chat.
People don't see this.
So now this is why the like button needs to be smashed.
The like button needs to be smashed if you want to.
Further your sport.
Not because I want it is I don't care generally, but I do care about what I'm doing.
So in order to facilitate that, I need to participation of the audience of the chat.
I need you after this.
After this live stream is over.
Drop a comment dropped 20.
Drop me 25 comments.
I'm unrealistic, but I don't give a ****.
Come on, This is how we get it.
This is how we make people understand what the hell is going on.
We have to make them understand what's going on.
We're stronger than the jokes that are out there.
Chase Athletic says Brian Kinney said 47 more competitive 54 Bob paid for bottom paid for, sir.
Now I'm gonna touch on box Rex.
Best boxers of all time, which was even crazier.
And then I'm gonna get off of here because I'm way over always go off.
Best boxers of all time.
Floyd Mayweather Ninja, please.
They got him at number one on box wreck Manny Pacquiao Number two Carlos Mons own at number three.
Carl Zeman's own belongs on the top 10.
Many? No, your sport and you'll understand why I say it.
Mohammed Ali is fourth Minge a please.

Oscar de La Hoya.
Hell, no, man, but he said he's a He's a top 50.
He's a top 50 guy.
Julio Cesar Chavez.
Not in the top 10, but he's there.
In my opinion box records.
A **** fool is a **** fool.
But this is the type of stuff that people are referencing when they jump on your platform when they jump on your platform because they never watched boxing, they listen toe Fanboys on platforms.
Fat cookie shaped Fanboys, sugar cookie built some *****es.
That's what they're listening to.
That's what they're listening to.
That's their boxing knowledge accomplished.
Okay, not somebody that's ever hell.
I rather take advice from somebody that's had one amateur fight because I know at least they got in the ring.
I know at least they had.
They have an understanding.
I'm just saying I'd rather take advice and knowledge from a guy at least worked out on the heavy bag.
Once in their life, there's somebody sitting in a chair built like a bag of peanut butter trying to tell me about boxing, because that's what a lot of these platforms are now. Little hose.
Think what I'm talking about.
It's sneak this now it is dissing.
I don't have to meet your names.
I'm keeping it one billion in this whole and you could feel a certain way all you want.
You're not talking box and talk.
You're not educating people on boxing.
You're firing people up to get something from them.
Whatever it is, whatever it iss we're here to give.
I'm taking time out of my day before I got **** to do to do this.
I do this around what I do.
I'm not trying to make a living off of it if it happens, great.
But that's not That's not the objective.
The objective is bringing quality content with quality people who have a resume in the sport so you can hear from their mouth, not my mouth.
This platform is Maura about here, from Nate for me than myself.
This is This is about sharing.
There's not enough of that be, Romero says.
Box box records a joke.
It definitely is The Bells laughing, Uncle Jack, 3 28 says Top of the morning brother Man, Keep cooking.
I appreciate it. Thank you, but I gotta go.
I gotta dip the bell, says Box Wreck box Wreck box Wrecking the sport of boxing? Yep, Lance Marks is saying.
And so let's Meyer is laughing, Alexandra Wilson says.
Steve Bunch said.
In the UK, there aren't any boxing trainers anymore.
The new generation, our fitness training.
There's not boxing coaches.
That's a big problem.
They're not educators at all, Lance Morrow says.
We appreciate you like hell.
I appreciate you for listening and he says, and definitely make, too.
When me and they decided to do this, This was this was where we were going Yeah, that Zafar un and comedy In between all this, but at the root of it all, this is what it iss.
It's that it's that grittiest, that riel.
It's that it's that it's that place where holes don't go.
They don't stroll here.
People could talk, they mess, do all this ****.
But at the end of the day, pull up on one of us.
We ain't what you think we are.
We ain't what you think we are.
I want you to know that ****.
We back and we nasty.
But we keeping it one billion.
That's what it is.
This is lying Killer Podcast.
