I'm Matt Williamson with yard barker here to talk about a big game with the Vikings going to Tampa Bay to take on the Bucks and the Vikes now sit at 500.
They've won five of their last six, while Tampa Bay's coming off their bye much needed by, in my opinion, and they've dropped three of their last four.
Tampa Bay's record is seven and five, but they've outscored their opponents by 64 points this year.
Thats Buck's defense hasn't been the same as it was during the first six weeks of the season, especially verse the past.
I mean, could that be different after their by this late by things, a big deal for Tampa Bay, The Buccaneers opponents have really chosen not to run much against his defense.
That probably won't be the approach the Vikings take, though, and Dalvin Cook should once again be the foundation of Minnesota's offense.
But Tampa Bay allows for very few long runs and, in general, very stingy against opposing running backs.
The Vikings throw deep regularly and do it very well.
They also excel throwing off play action.
Adam Dylan has 16 end zone targets.
That's the most in the NFL and since being named the full time starter in Week three, Justin Jefferson is averaging a ridiculous 96.
9 yards per game.
Like 97 yards per game, this is a great pair wideouts.
I mean, simply put, surprisingly, opposing quarterbacks and wide receivers have put up massive numbers against this buck's defense and Kirk Cousins, having a much better year than most given credit for.
Minnesota has turned the ball over far too often this year, but only the Chiefs air producing more yards per play on offense.
The Buccaneers offense is one of the most pass happy in the league.
I expect Tom Brady to have some answers of what ailed this offense coming out of the by.
I'm sure he's been grinding it like crazy of these last two weeks.
Minnesota's pass rush has been their real problem area, but the red zone defense has been tremendous.
The Vikings have the league's worst average starting field position.
A lot of that has to do with their immense struggles on special teams.
Maybe I'm given this bucks by week too much way too much credit, but I think it could be a turning point in Tampa Bay season.
Give me the bucks.
I'm Matt Williamson with your barker.
