drama on YouTube.
And I had run into a, um, another podcast with a bunch of guys that were talking to each other and and they had some people calling in.
What's up? How's it going? Gave.
What's up, Gabriel? Okay.
This'll is it? Go New York, New York. Go.
Well, you see way.
We don't want to make him feel left out.
I got plenty of Yankee stuff around, but you guys got me lost.
Ugo, that's okay, But we want you to share your thoughts on your team.
As a matter of fact, we're gonna start with you.
So you feel like you're part of this.
You're not gonna feel left out.
And so you know, But let me just introduce you to my other cousin.
He's from my other side of the family.
That's Henry he's wearing.
The New York had just like me.
And of course, he's a big time Nick fan.
And then, you know you know my sister.
So, um, there's what are you doing? Rough.
How are you? Alright, alright.
Right now I'm waiting for Well, we could get started.
One of my colleagues from work.
Hey, wanted to join in.
So I sent him the information.
Hopefully, he'll join us in a little while, and Nina send send the link to dominate because I sent them the previous Lincoln.
That one only takes you to the page, but not necessarily to this broadcast that he sees live.
So good starters off, Gabriel.
Because I know you got a lot thio say about Washington.
But, hey, I got the first question of the days.
So who's your daddy? Yeah, keep it.
Way went thio Yankee Stadium in, like, 2009 for the L.
D s against the twins we got when they won the Siri's.
But, I mean, I don't know right now, right now.
It's, you know, Russell Westbrook, I guess, Um oh, he's your daddy.
Excited about it, Really? When I first got announced, and I think it was mostly just like the, you know, nostalgia about John Wall and all that on I still love John Wall obviously.
And I e still think he's a great player.
You know, the front office was just concerned with his last two years.
Like he just hadn't been on the hadn't been on the court at all.
And, you know, they wanted to clear up the cast, so I don't know.
I don't know really what the play was.
Also, Westbrook is like, if the plan on trying to give him a deal and, you know, keep him around for longer or what? But I mean, these are obviously still, you know, I think he's still a pretty good player.
And, um, gonna be great for the fan base if nothing else.
And, um, yeah, great for great.
For just attention, I guess.
And you know, him and him and Bradley Beal together.
You probably aren't gonna be the worst combo.
Um, you know, that's the question.
That's the question that I have Is that was there something, you know, behind the scenes that maybe we nobody heard about some friction between him and Bill, like, you know.
Whose team is it? Yeah.
I mean, I don't know, really.
I think you know, they had been closed.
I know they had been closed.
Um, just based on, like interviews that they had given on John Wall, like personally talking about their relationship.
Like, I think when When you know, John Wall lost his mother, Um, on, like Bradley, Beal was one of the first people to, like, go console him about that.
And, you know, it just seemed like they had a pretty genuine connection.
At least you know this.
It could have, I guess, for you did at some point hoping the lies year to just given how little John Wall had been around, maybe or whatever.
You know, if they feel like he's distancing himself from the team, But I don't know.
I mean, you know, overall, like people in D.
C Love John Wall always going thio.
And, you know, whenever you know, fans are allowed back to arenas and stuff, the rockets come to play in D. C.
Well, we'll get a standing ovation.
Um, so I mean, yeah, you know, I'm still I'm still pretty pretty heartbroken, I guess, to see you just because he's been around for so long.
You know, just, you know, again, that just nostalgia, like they drafted him 2010 s.
So it's just a it really it hurts.
It hurts, but we'll get over it.
So whose team is it? Bradley meals.
Or I think right now it's It's bills, you know, just given his experience with the team, like rust.
There's obviously a start.
Uh, but, you know, I think I think Bill just has a good thing going with the team.
And he got absolutely smelled last year, Um, in terms of the All Star loathe to the All Star game, but, um, yeah, like 30 points a game.
You know, you can't, uh, can't deny that, And I don't think you can.
You can try and take that away from him.
So, um, I hope that there's no tension between him and Russ.
Um, e I hope they could work something out, but in my eyes, I think it's, you know, it's bills right now.
Just because he's he's the guy, you know.
He's the guy on the team, right? And he's younger, of course.
So you know he's the next marquee player.
Russell, although he's still in his prime, you know, he's already got a few years on him, so he's got to come in as a support to build and hopefully be able to blend in with him.
One thing that you may get with breast off Westbrook is that he's healthier.
Yeah, and, uh, and Wall coming off of a Achilles was an Achilles injury.
That's that's a serious was seriously, really.
It will be interesting to see how explosive he will or will not be with Houston.
And maybe that's the thinking in terms of the front office.
Yeah, you know, I think that's what it is.
I think they just in their eyes is like, you know, we love John Wall, but at the end of the day, you know it's it's a business decision for them, and they have to do, you know what's best? I didn't even know how many games he played over the last two seasons, but it can't be over 40.
Um, when you haven't got just, you know, sitting on the bench, Yes, that is it.
You know? Yeah, he's just sitting on the bench for the whole season and paying him more money than anyone know the team.
It's like you gotta You gotta reconsider some things at some point.
So I think that's what it came down to for them.
And they were just like any kind of, you know, more or less wasted.
Kind of waiting for him to be back at his full potential when we could, you know, go out and get something for Foreman on.
That's what they did.
Ah, you have a fan in the chat.
Who says you know, we will always be way love him, so, yeah, You're not alone here.
Yeah, I think that's I think that's one of my buddies I sent the link to.
So we you know it zits strong.
You know, like we're we're really you know, d C is always gonna love him.
He's always gonna love him.
E think Russell Westbrook is going toe help you forget about him? I think so, too.
Honestly, you know, I was looking at just some of the teams like social media today, and they had just some clips of Russell, um, you know, coming in.
And they had, like, a few practice clips and stuff, and, um, you know, he looks good.
Like it's It's Russell Westbrook.
You know, I'm not I'm not going to say I'm not going to say I'm disappointed about it.
Really, like he You know, he's still he's still a great player.
And so, um, yeah, you know, I once once we get the regular season rolling, and I think once we get to see him and feel in action, um, people, people are probably gonna get over that pain.
They're not gonna forget about John Long, but they're gonna get over the pain a little bit quicker, so Right.
Right, Nina, Any thoughts? I know your wheels attorney so far away, you know, I mean, I think Westbrook is is a phenomenal athlete.
Um, I just don't You know, I just don't see it. I'm sorry.
Yeah, I'm not a fan, and I'm not.
That was my gut reaction, you know? Yeah, well, not a fan off Westbrook.
He just He's a triple.
The whole machine triples wall.
He does more than any other player on the court that neither the war war number one.
Anything, either, either.
E, I think I think that the best players to play with you can't win.
Yeah, that's the thing.
I think I think that he can't win.
Like Russ is obviously, you know, like, like obviously like an incorrect.
Yeah, like he's obviously an incredible athlete and the, you know the production is obviously they're like in terms of the triple doubles like you could look at his stats, but But what you're saying about, you know what you're saying about He does more than anyone else in the court, like back and sometimes be.
The problem is that he's trying to literally just do too much, you know, like you watch him in the playoffs and he's just like, you know, like they It's like possessions late in the game where they need to score.
And Russ is just flying all over the court like trying to do literally everything.
And it's like just settle down, settle down and run a play or something.
It's not, Um yeah, No.
So that it's not exactly and that you know that that was my gut reaction.
Honestly, um, is that you know, and I still hope that, you know, when I was talking about earlier, that it's Bills team in my eyes, I hope that Russell doesn't come in and just try to do way too much and take the ball out of bills, hands and, uh and just kind of bleed.
Everyone else on the court.
You know Scott Brooks? Yeah.
You know Scott Brooks? He had a in okay soon, right? You know, he was his coach in O k.
When he first came up, No eso he might be able to get in his ear about, You know, this is a new situation for you.
Let's tryto make something happen, just like we had back in O K.
When? When they almost went toe the second round, right? Yeah, when he had him.
And when he had to Rats and, uh, yeah, but that was the organizational decision to give up harder.
Was not hardened in those days.
By the way, he was 1/6 man.
He wasn't six man back then.
But, you know, at the same time, you gotta thank you.
Gotta think about six, man.
I mean, I just remember watching, you know? Yeah.
I mean, he was a six Magal.
I just remember 2012 watching, you know, the end of the finals against the heat and just thinking like, you know, those three guys, you know, they're gonna be back soon, and yeah, it just didn't panned out.
That's that will always be, I think one of the biggest one ifs, um, is what if Russ keep it will be hard and had stayed together together on the thunder.
Oklahoma City might have been celebrating our championship.
Yeah, seriously, at least one.
I mean, they you gotta think, you gotta think they would have had at least absolutely, you know, even with LeBron with the way even with LeBron in the league, like, you gotta think they would have had at least one.
But that's not the way things go.
And actually, that's one thing I wanted.
So, um, I was thinking about earlier when you guys were gonna come on this.
I know a book like I could just introduced topic again, but, um, I was e I guess what you guys think not or, you know, issue or non issue.
I guess depending on how you see it of, like, superstar players, just like deciding to go where, um, there's kind of like, I guess, like a contingency now of people who say like that, it's a problem.
How? Superstars just decided to go like, you know, they're just bullying teams and, like hard and now apparently requesting a trade with, like, I think, almost like three or four years left on his deal.
Um, like, like with an option.
So it could be, like, four years left on his deal.
And so people are kind of like questioning, I guess what? You know, the future of the league is gonna be if guys, we're just going to start only in front offices, you know, get them out of there if they want.
I mean, it's a new era.
I mean, in years past, in prior generations, it was very, very rare where you had superstars dictate where they would end up thing.
You know what I mean? If they weren't happy given franchise, you know, trying to get management to actually trade into another team.
What what happened in the past would be a superstar player would get a coach fired.
That was very common.
Dab magic, it magic.
When he was with the Lakers, he didn't like Paul West full on as a result of the he work this, you know, channels behind the scenes to get him fired.
And ultimately, Pat Riley became the head coach there.
So that was Mawr, the common type of practice back in the day.
But things have changed in this era, you know, now because you have a lot of players that they've learned how to use leverage to their advantage.
And as a result of that, you have the hardens of the world or other players that also, and even Westbrook.
I think there was whispers out there that Westbrook wanted Thio trading.
It didn't just happen by chance.
You know, franchises.
They're gonna comment, you know, David it.
Yeah, my 80 right? Well, back in the day if I make time in during the organization's used to trade away players as they please, you know, like if it was whatever was beneficial for the team and you don't star players would get traded two other teams after they've been, you know, they were past their prime.
Or at least the organization felt that they were past their prime.
And one of those such cases was, well, Fraser, it was the face off the Knicks.
He took them to those championships and he got traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Really, for they bing, another old booze just like that s o I mean, the script has been flipped at this point, you know, it's a business.
That's the reality of it.
That's one thing I learned in my many years following the game, uh, specifically more so when I used to work at Madison Square Garden, I went in there with a purist mind at heart thinking, You know how pure the game was.
But that's when I really learned the business side off sports being at the professional level at the college level.
And that's when I realized a It's big money.
There's a lot of money at stake.
Both sides have a lot, you know that they want to get out of it.
And if it doesn't work for one party or the other, they're gonna try to force a trade or or team is going to try to trade a player.
It's just it's just the nature of the beast, and that's that's the reality of it.
But I think to your point, um is that it's killing the small mark itself.
That's yeah, Oklahoma, Houston, you know, like if he leaves there what? They don't wanna have anything for the next 10 years.
Yeah, at least this way they at least make it to the playoffs.
Yeah, and you know it, Z, I think it's, ah, it puts guys like, um, you know, I guess like John is, for example, or just other guys like that who are kind of, like stand out players on their teams.
Um, it kind of puts them in a weird position where I feel like, you know, maybe guys wanna guys want to go into the league and kind of stick it out with one team, like the whole time and just kind of, um, you know, earn their way to a championship on one team Or maybe some guys, you know, Do you just wanna bounce around or whatever, But, um, for the guys that you wanna, you know, just take like the Kobe or out play 10, 15 years for one single team and try to win a few championships like it makes it.
I get tough for them.
Um, you know, when you just you look around and you see people just going you know, it's whatever team they please in the off season and teams winning championships out of nowhere.
And, um, dynasties being built out of nowhere.
So, yeah, I don't know.
It definitely it It changes the It's something I guess can change the landscape of the league.
Really, really quickly.
Just overnight even.
So what do you think? In terms of the Knicks? What do you think? What do you see? You know, in terms off the coaching changes fundamental changes the team as it is right now.
Impressed, not impressed.
Yeah, I've been I'm gonna crack.
I'm a diehard Nick fan.
Right? And I've been so disgusted with my team e don't know, eight years, Okay? It's been horrible.
It that z eso, but by the way, I have a delivery from my end.
So, like, I see you guys moving, I see your mouth moving, But I don't hear the the audio.
So like flu, but I don't hear him.
Okay, so if I don't respond, it's because I'm not I'm not hearing you guys okay.
S o E does enjoy all the teams took a boy heartbreak that the Knicks have put me through this'd year plan on following because they make or no need.
I think every going like this, and I see that gave him wanted to say something.
I gotta delay from my end.
So I'm sorry that gave I was just going to say I mean, I feel like saying that the game, the Knicks, the Knicks do you have, like, draft picks going for them that they've just been ableto are, like, ac***ulate a lot of, like, up and coming stars out of college over the last few years.
Like guys like Dennis Smith.
I mean, they they didn't draft him.
J Barrett, like e mean millikin is not bad, obviously, like overseas pick.
But, um e I mean, they just I don't know what it is with them, you know, and you look at their roster and it's like they should be able to produce something out of this.
But, um, yeah, I don't know.
As an outside observer, it just seems like a year after year, you just you just watch him like, you know, confusion.
It's confusing, so I personally and personally don't see anybody beating the Lakers anytime soon after the Greek freak ended up being there for the next season.
We're done, Lakers got it way might as well just give it up.
Basketball is over.
That is the team.
No one's gonna beat that tape.
There's just nobody is gonna be this freaking t e.
I can't see how anybody is gonna be beat LeBron 80 The group freak.
What's that? Pope Pope Guy.
What's his name? Come tobe Ius can save you Talking about entrees from the Clippers.
Well, what Greek freak? Yeah, that's his brother.
Yeah, between 21.
Well, we're talking about right now, right now.
Not supposed to Nothing Until they signed the contract.
There's no final deal.
He's been walking.
Guys don't get it, Get it.
Don't get it Twisted walking a about what they are right now.
What what's the what's the What's the roster? Go ahead, Look it up. Look it up.
What he what? He check out the roster.
What? What's the Lakers roster? He has his younger brother on the team.
His younger brother is a telecom pose.
Brother is with the Lakers.
He didn't even play last year.
He wasn't even a bubble large.
Twitter is his brother.
It's his brother, just Yeah, but yeah, No, it's not not.
Don't worry about.
Yeah, but yes, his brother.
No, he's not going there.
Right? It would have been over.
Yeah, yeah, but no, he's not there.
He's got a good thing in a box.
He's still in the box.
I'm like, No, he had a good thing, But what's he going over there? Leave it alone.
A move on the Oh, you can breathe. You can breathe.
Okay, so that's not the case.
I still like them.
E like the devil.
Like a joke of it.
Keep their fundamental basketball.
Yeah, no, but Washington Nuggets in the playoffs. Beautiful.
It made it made no sense to me.
Like how Yokich is ableto like score points or anything in the paint, Like I mean, his accountability.
First off is one thing.
Like, he can actually I mean, he's a lights out three point shooter, like, you know, you'll be watching some games and any sinks like five in the first quarter, but, um, inside the like it down low, it's scoring down low.
It does not make sense to me at all, because you see, him with the ball, and he just has, like, some of the most awkward looking footwork I've ever seen.
And I guess it just, like, kind of makes sense for someone with his size.
But he just kind of like, you know, stumbles around, like, underneath the basket and then throws the ball up and it goes in.
But yeah, the Nuggets, the Nuggets make it work.
I get 111 pickup, actually, by the Lakers this offseason that I think is really good.
Um, Dennis Traitor or Schroeder from the Atlanta Hawks? Well, he was okay.
See, he was in O k c o.
He was hey, got traded to Okay.
Hey. Was with Chris.
Yeah, and he over the last couple of years has been developing its, like, really, really special player.
And I think, like the Lakers, you know, LeBron will figure something out.
They'll figure out a good role for him, and, um, yeah, I think he's a He's gonna be a big fan.
And Gondol that's right.
He got in his game after Rondo, but he has a more consistent perimeter shot.
Yeah. They got Marcus sold to.
Marc Gasol, Wesley Matthews.
Uh, the other guys and not so great they still got Yeah, uh, they should repeat.
They should repeal.
They got Alex Caruso.
You know, barring any injuries because you know, anybody looks good on paper until you get on the floor and you can stay on the floor.
Look at the Clippers, the Clippers.
Everybody would say there.
That seemed to be Then they had chemistry issues Golden State before.
They have those breakdowns in the finals.
They were the team to be, but the injuries going up to them.
So, yes, the Lakers looked like the team to be, But we have to let it play out because injuries can change anything.
And for the time could also catch up with LeBron.
That's what I was about to say.
I was about to say, you know, 36 18, I think.
So, going into the 18th year? Yeah, like James Howard shouting out the Karoo show, But no.
Going into his 18th year, I mean, that is crazy like that, that I don't understand how he's still able.
Thio, I guess just like take over games the way he waas this year in the playoffs.
But we'll see, you know it could.
It could finally be the year where his age starts to show a little bit.
Um, but I don't know right now.
I mean, I don't see it right now, but of course they haven't played a game.
But I just think I like the Lakers because, you know, just going off the last year, I think that it was kind of, I mean, maybe a long shot for them to actually win the finals.
Like people thought they were definitely gonna cruise through the West, Probably.
But like, I don't know, I don't know if at the beginning of the year, if you think with just LeBron and a D that they could have automatically in that much of a lock for the Finals like, but, you know, just building off of that with all the pieces they've added this off season, I think they are probably, uh, in my in my eyes, I think the favorite dogs Thio I think I think the shortest season I think the shortest season help Mama.
Yeah, you know, when the shortest season helped LeBron so that he was gonna stay okay or for the playoffs.
But I was surprised by Miami.
So I want to see what happens to Miami.
That xprize there.
Really? I e didn't expect him to do that.
Yeah, and And they're just, like they're just a team that plays really, really well together and like their defense is is pretty locked down.
And yeah, I I think the I think they definitely surprised a lot of people.
Um, and at the same time, you know, you got to keep in mind like you said the short season day.
It helped a lot of teams that didn't hurt a lot of teams.
Like the bubble, you gotta think, Yeah, the bubble.
You gotta think the sons, you know, given the one that they went on in the bubbles.
No, I'm making it into the playoffs, you know? What would they have been able to do with the full length seasons? So, um, you know, we'll have to see.
Yeah, hero hero is really good.
And Jimmy, Jimmy is a great leader.
Jimmy is the guy that's like he you know, he's not even he's kind of like the opposite of Russ.
You know where he's just, like, doesn't care about his stats whatsoever.
Like he's gonna pass, He's gonna rebound on.
But if he doesn't, if he doesn't get to shoot the ball, you know, more than five times in the first half, he doesn't really care a long as his teams up.
You know, we got to give him a moment here.
You know his guts out about the Knicks.
So go ahead and do your thing.
I believe o e 01 thing about that we can all agree upon with the Knicks is that they can only get better.
They can only get better.
And the way that the idea off bringing in a defensive minded coach that is going to give them an identity, it's already a plus.
Then they drafting pretty well.
Okay, That is not one of these.
Like they picked Frank Nil.
Akina a head off Mitchell.
What's the day, Mitchell? Donovan Mitchell.
I saw I saw the tape of that today somewhere, and I saw Donovan Mitchell congratulating, frightening the key.
The way he got called up, I was like Onley cow.
Donovan Mitchell was right there for US Bank.
But either way, this year with it wouldn't do too bad.
I don't think that there was too many mistakes with the draft.
And who knows if this guy will be similar to what Mitchell Robinson did for us? Which was a find.
It was a second rounder.
Never played college, you know, state, Uh, hey.
Didn't even go to Europe.
He just worked out on his own, came into the Knicks, and he was a game changer.
You know, for excitement, man.
I mean, and and we're a nice point guard, like quickly in their listen.
I'm looking forward to them playing all of these young guys and giving those young guys the opportunities to either sink or swim.
I think with this kid coming out of Kentucky, they might help knocks a little bit mhm, if not knocks.
Gotta get moved up, man.
Yeah, and let all these other guys play because we've given him two years to show what he's got.
So between him, Mikino, you know, I'm you know, let me see some offense that coach make those guys play defense and I think that I got a good squad, man.
I got a nice squad coming in.
Then I got Toby or we want Calo.
B o r J Barrett Emmanuel quickly.
I saw some tapes of Julius Randle doing what stuff? Even though he disappointed me last year.
Okay, I'm looking for Austin Rivers to do a little work.
Andi, I got big bigness, man.
I love the way that get worked out in the G League last year, and I'm hoping that he gets the opportunity, man, because he's like one of these.
What was it? The lead you remember, Lean when we had him a couple of years ago.
It's just a hard work.
It gets in there and does all the dirty work, you know, Whereas Randall just wants to take a shot and run the other way.
Yeah, so I mean, I think I agree.
You know, with your point about getting the young guys out there and just seeing what they could do.
And I think like you've seen a lot of teams try that out, like I have, you know, measurable success with that.
Like, I think you know one example, I guess, would be I think the Kings come to mind. Sacramento.
I love what they do, you know, like just trusting and deer and fox and trusting in the guys that they have.
Um, the sun e did it. Yeah.
The sun's or another one, you know, bringing in, like, obviously, if Devin Booker started the show.
But then you bring in guys like Kelly, you were and stuff you try to build around these young guys and you don't you don't go after, um, guys that you're not, you know, I'm going to get that much production out of, I guess.
Um, so I I agree.
I think that, you know, honestly, that they have It's like you said they could only go up from here.
So the the upside of that is, you know, it's obviously very high, but at the same time does take, like, a couple of seasons to develop.
You know that confidence and have the team gel together.
Um, but, you know, it's also I was gonna say Be funny, you know, it's gonna It's gonna be funny to see Austin Rivers kind of stepping in.
It looks like he's close toe one.
Like the oldest guys on this roster.
Like he's gonna be stepping in tow, like the veteran role veteran leader role on the Knicks roster with all these young guys.
So, yeah, it'll be really interesting, you know? What was that? Is he gonna be like Tatum from the Celtics? Do you think it No, no, no, no.
It would have been that already.
Know top of is gonna be like Tatum Tatum.
Yeah. Time is a bucket.
Tatum is a bucket.
Tatum Tatum is one of those guys that he's gonna be around for, you know, 10, 15 years, and you can see you can see him becoming like a you know, a legend in the MBA.
Honestly, take him.
Take him is a special player.
Yeah, and if he, you know, all Kobe passed away, he worked out with with Kobe s.
So he picked up a lot of stuff from Kobe, and he's taking him into his game.
And now he's become, you know, a second version of Kobe in terms of the work that he's put into his game e saying that he's Kobe, but the work that Kobe put into his game.
That's what victim is trying todo Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, He's gonna be Who's the leader? So, Henry, who is the leader in the mix? Who is the leader? Clean? Uh, the coach? Uh huh.
The coach is the leader on the next? Yes, Uh, there is no big guys a little use.
Okay, Uh, what they really need is for for dinner, Smith Jr.
So he developed or, you know, you know, like they say she don't get on or get off the pot, you know, because if not quickly, should be put right into that situation.
You don't want my starting five years.
I got quickly, R.
Topping Randall and ignorant press desk keys.
That's my starting 50 did I leave out Mitchell Robinson? I'm sorry, fellas.
I was topping Randall Robinson.
Okay, RJ and Emmanuel quickly e I agree.
With four out of five off your starting five.
Who would you like me have to? He has to come off the bench.
I still start painting.
Used the guy that that knows how to run the oh, quickly, quickly.
The rookie nature.
He's gotta earn his minute and he's gonna learn the league, and he's great coming off off off the bench because he's still got to learn the game, the NBA game.
I'm not saying that he's not a good player, but again, there's a transition.
You're not just gonna come into the league and be ableto just yeah, but did you say that? Did you say that about about this kid from from Atlanta last year? Oh, we got a win.
It's gotta be, You know, it just blew up.
He's not the same thing.
It's not just, you know, it takes a little guy, so it's a little thing, you know? I think it takes a It takes a really special player to be able to come into the booth straight out of college exactly, and even be able to keep up.
Honestly, you could be able to keep up with the game.
Okay, I'm glad that we have in this conversation because I hope that he changes a lot of minds, you know, on this platform.
I'm hoping for him and that, you know, he proves Toby, because, remember, he's, uh he's played a couple of years on the on the Calipari.
So you know, it's not like he's ah, one and done.
Yeah, it that came out of college.
He's coming out with some experience, even though he's a little bit of a, you know, a little under wait.
You know, he doesn't have ah, MBA body, But again, neither did the kid from Atlanta, right, But trade young Woods was, you know he was.
He was the guy on this team.
He came in having that kind of response.
Yeah, he had that kind of responsible.
Of course, we question what kind of MBA body he had to be able to compete at the MBA and obviously, his work for him.
That's the exception.
That's not the rule this quickly.
He's a solid player, but I don't think he can feel those shoes coming into the N B A.
If anything, I will start painting because Peyton already knows the team.
You know some people up and then you bring in a quickly behind him.
E absolutely, you know, being groomed potentially as a future point guard.
But I wouldn't I wouldn't start him.
I'm not ready, Not ready to run a team, right? Not at this level.
So But they also have Austin Rivers as a point guard.
Yeah, yeah, that's another fact.
I think I think that someone that you wanna have kind of like a mentor for these young guys just because of, like, his playoff experience.
And he's just, you know, he's been around forever.
Yeah, you know, he's just he's just a great guy to have around, I think, Especially when you have all these young guys on the team.
You know, you need some kind of Cem leadership and you're probably not going to get that.
Like, Look, Michael, get Michael Michael cool or whatever.
Yeah, our Nerlens Noel Because But yeah, you know, you know, they gotta want Omari Spellman, too.
Those guys are pretty good.
I mean, their players, they got skilled.
Let's kill players.
Villanova is one of those programs that, you know, they produce guys that that essentially game ready again.
Another four year guy, Omari Spellman.
Yes, it iss Yeah, that's a good thing because you bring it in guys that a little bit more, you know, experienced more mature as opposed to a one and done.
You know, you don't know what you're gonna get.
High risk, high reward.
But with these four year players, at least you get good, good, solid.
You know, glue Guys go.
That can help stabilize in locker room and potentially be a solid play in the n B. If not, you know.
Ah, Potential star.
Listen, man, he said the CO says everybody's gonna have to earn their minutes. Okay.
Should be So So I'm looking forward to that I 10 man rotation.
Listen, I go 15, man.
Oh, everybody, listen, that's the way I mean, you know, I know I'm going to an extreme, but the reality is this.
If you have such a young Squire on, you wanna put the premium on defense? You make sure that folks get minutes.
Not everybody's gonna get the same amount of minutes, but at least you're getting in and getting them gain in experience.
And also you create good habits.
Wait good habits.
Otherwise, right now, we can't expect them to be a playoff team.
No, they gotta be a team in transition and development.
They gotta show levels of improving throughout the season.
Yeah, there's a seven.
What is it? 87889 and 10, 789 10 19.
I was thinking that this year, the playoff, the format is that the last the 789 and 10 are going to be playing in for the eighth spot.
Yeah, or the 89 from the 10th.
You know, in the standings will be looking for the 85 like a plane round robin game.
Yeah, that's what they did in the bubble.
They did that in the bubble.
That's how important got in right on in Phoenix, although they want every game.
They just came up short, right? That's that's That's terrible, right? You win all your games, you don't make it.
That's pretty bad.
But somebody had a better record than them.
That's that's what happened.
Okay, the pre So, So, So So.
Winning all those games meant nothing to them.
You haven't playing this game for that? No.
Well, yeah, but they got experience out of it.
That's a young team.
That Phoenix team is gonna be a team to watch now, because now they have three.
They got Chris Ballinger.
Hey, knows how to set people up.
And then we got that shooting guard.
Man, that kid is he's the truth.
Yeah, he really is.
And you're gonna see it.
Is it here? A lot of Kentucky guy e? Think you're ready? Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'm following.
What was that? Nina, You have a bad delayed.
You need to connect it.
Ethan, that cable Thio, there's a lot of delays from my M.
Next time I will.
Yeah, because you're using your WiFi, and it's not reliable, but Henry e can't see any past or anything, because it slows me down further.
I gotta I can't see any stats or teams right now, because otherwise, if my Internet, it slows down even further.
A question from Henry s.
So you're saying you have a 10 minute rule? Yeah.
10 man rotation of the Knicks is what you're saying.
So, like, so you don't see them, you know, making the playoffs anytime soon.
They could come in.
They could be the ninth or the 10th team in the east.
Yeah, *** do that.
But I think What? What there was ninth last year. No.
Oh, tell you remember where I can't remember where they finished.
Honestly? Okay. I know.
Yeah, I wanna I wanna answer James in the shot.
I don't think the calves will make a run.
A Detroit All destroy cats of Detroit.
I'm not gonna make it.
Is this cat experience, man? Is he really saying he just throwing stuff out? This be a come on, man.
But I agree with his opinion about magic.
I agree with his opinion about E.
I agree about the green marble commentary, but the Cavs Come on, man.
Who is this K? Are you for real? He's just say stuff, man.
Can't take him serious.
Let me see who's gonna be.
But going back to what you were saying earlier about next having a 10 or a joke.
A 15 team, a 15 meditation.
Um, but I fully agree, You know, I think that's what they have to do right now.
And especially in a season like this, where you know, it's not like you're trying Thio.
You know, it's not like you're trying to make the playoffs.
You're not trying to make a run right now or anything like that.
You're just trying to see what you could do.
You know when as many games as you can.
Just trying to figure out what you wanna do for for your roster.
But as long as you know right now, when you don't even have set five man rotation.
Yeah, I think absolutely.
You got to be getting You have to be, uh, trying out as many guys as you can, and you have to be having a really deep bench.
And if anything else, you know, it'll just, I guess keep the guys on the bench which competitive and keep everyone engaged.
And, um yeah, you know, I just created good morale.
I think that it was a good coach, and I think out of a bunch of young guys like that, like he should be able to get something, you know.
And the thing about it is when you play that many players and again 15 inches the extreme.
But if you play, if you expand your roster, that means you could be that much more aggressive defensively because you can't work without trouble using players and you're, you know, is still in good habits.
You're not worried about foul trouble, and you're also you're not.
You're not overworking guys, so it's not, you know, You say you tell everybody listening.
You're going to get five minutes every quarter.
That's it s so you will bust your behind when you get out there on defense.
And left the office come off for the defense.
And if And if you don't play hard, Okay.
We got next, man.
Next man up is gonna come in, and they're gonna play for those minutes.
You're gonna want those minutes.
So we owe in the locker room, and well, then you were gonna so I mean, I'm all about defense.
I could appreciate somebody's gotta score.
So some there's our rhythm shooters.
So how you gonna How these players about rhythm shooter's gonna get the timing is only gonna be on the court for five minutes and didn't sound event well again.
You know where we're being facetious? That they were gonna get five minutes, but you're gonna have your rotation, and then you build around your rotation, you get guys.
You may not play every every, You know, every guy in every single game.
You can alternate from game to game.
You have your starting five, and then you work from there, the rest of your roster.
That's That's the way you think like that.
I don't think they even established starting five or anything like that.
We're playing tomorrow night, folks.
Where is the starting five? Who is it? Let me see. Let me see.
The only disagreement is quickly, um, you know, because you told quickly I chose them.
Peyton eso they got.
Look at that. They do have already.
Are they? Barry O.
B Topping? Julius Randle, Randle Mitchell Robinson on And Alfred.
Peyton, There was your starting five.
This is official.
Well, this is what I got here.
Looking at the New York Knicks death shot.
So the starters are Elfrid Payton, R J.
Barrett Trandahl and Mitchell Robinson.
Mama, I really like that guy.
I really like that guy.
Topping it's gonna be awesome is gonna be awesome.
And then in the second, the second they're talking about the Latina birds Reggie Bullock.
No, No, that's wrong.
No, I know is good coming off the bench, and he's a defensive guy.
So he's gonna be good to push Mitchell Robinson and coming off the bench.
He's a veteran. Also.
Is he a day to day? Yeah, okay, Kevin Knox.
The third is the third rotation.
He's not even not even coming off the bench in the first rotation.
You know, different games.
How? Yeah, he asked the question about Melo.
You Grant James a break up about the melon ball? What do you guys think about the melon ball? E o What do you think? You know, that's That's another interesting case, like just in turn terms of the Charlotte Hornets, where they kind of have a mix of like younger guys Davonte, Grandma, love at Kansas a week, monk.
And then they got, like, Terry Gordon Hayward, um, and then bringing in Lamela's So, um, Miles Bridges.
Obviously, uh, I honestly don't know.
I think out of the three Ball brothers, I honestly think I see the mellow having the most upside Really? E.
I mean, you know, just because I and I guess I haven't seen him play that much, but just, uh, building that kind of experience in the pro leagues, like in New Zealand or wherever he was going to play.
Yeah, you know, skipping college to go to that.
Like, you know, we've seen plenty of guys come out off the national leagues and, you know, it's proven to be it's proven to be a good developmental strategy for young players.
Um, that don't want to go to college route.
So I don't know.
I think Lamela's gonna be really interesting on, um, if you know, if the Horn has decided to play him.
You know, obviously they have a few older guys on that team.
But if they if they do decide to give us a minutes, e think I'd be really excited to see what it does.
Yeah, the mellow.
He's very talented.
I mean, he has the potential to be a star player in this league.
I do like Lonzo Lonzo ball.
He's solid, he's solid and he has the potential.
What I see in Lonzo is he has the potential to have a career similar to Jason Kidd.
He likes to distribute the ball, and he's further along in his jump shot than Kid Waas.
When kid came into the league, Kid was not a perimeter shooter.
He was get the ball and dribble it the length of the court and then either shooting or pass it off a lot of snow.
On the other hand, he grabs the rebound.
He's looking down court.
He doesn't dribble in 94 ft.
He's, you know, he's passing.
It would have cost that.
Even on the half, court said, He gets there, he keeps it moving and he's worked on his jump shot.
So broken, broken the fastest.
His defense in solid defense is solid and his rebounding inside.
That's why I say I've seen him like a Jason Kidd.
Oh, he has, you know, superstar potential, you know, be neighbors.
Yeah, it's a matter of fulfilling it, but he has that potential.
Hey, has a patrician.
Yeah, he has great vision, and it's also I think, that he has good players around him.
I think that he has good players around him that will be able to help him out, just kind of help him get his footing like Terry is one guy, um, specifically on that team who will go? Yeah, yeah.
Hayward and Hayward.
You know, But Terry T g, just because Carrie carrie was, like, you know, kind of built his own, you know, I feel like he almost came out of nowhere.
He made the best of his opportunity.
Uh, you know, with the minutes he was getting with the Celtics and built on that and he was able to turn himself into, like, you know, pretty pretty, highly sought after player in the NBA.
But he took a step back when he went well, he was with the Celtic.
He was like the guy. Yeah.
When, When, uh, I went down.
And then he went and toe the hornets.
And it's like, Hey, wasn't the same player? Yeah.
Yeah, you know, you know it Zhar to explain what it is if it's just I guess, you know, maybe Mrs playing in Boston or whatever, but for some, Yeah, he's just coming up short.
E eventually left.
He would have been in America.
Yeah, and that, you know, that is still one thing that we have to see pan out is how the Nets do when they have all the pieces ready to go when Katie and Tyree come back like there.
If they're not serious title contenders, I don't know.
That's gonna be interesting.
Yeah, yeah, that's That's one of those team that on paper they look Boston.
However, the chemistry that they had was without K D and Kyrie.
Now they have to all take a step back, give the Balto Kyrie and K d and then on the 3rd and 4th options.
Yeah, and And we've had this conversation and I know James from the chat rooms is bringing this up.
But this is a conversation that I've had with Henry before in terms of Kyrie.
Unfortunately, Kyrie is super talented.
I mean this kid talent alone, there's no dispute.
The problem with Kyrie is his leadership skills.
And on top of that, you know, it's about him having the ball 24 7 as a post as a point guard, you want to distribute, you wanna make sure your teammates are happy and what it's like.
They're gonna be more than willing to give you the rock so that you could shoot it and close the game.
But his mentality is he's got to score every single point every single quarter.
And that's not gonna translate into winning basketball.
It translates into great stats, you know, on a personal level, being a basketball, right, you know? And that's that's the unfortunate part because the kid is super talented.
I mean, he's a bad kid.
I mean, nasty, great hair.
But, you know, he doesn't help chemistry because you make that kyrie like, right, We're gonna put him on your team. Yeah.
No, E said we're gonna give them to you.
We're gonna put him on your team since Kyrie.
Oh, you could keep Kyrie.
You could keep Westbrook.
Don't want either.
Uh, they were two guys e definitely more than a head cases.
Yeah, you know, it's exactly like you were saying with Kyrie Is that talent is no doubt there.
You know, we saw that in Cleveland, obviously, but it's just a question of is he, you know, fully committed Thio giving the ball up for the sake of the team and is when he doesn't have the shot, is he gonna pass it all for He's gonna try to make the play and it's you know, he and what have the same similar tithe? Yeah, you know. Exactly.
So it's kind of, like, expected work.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
But But he doesn't have that mentality.
Want to school first? He wants to make players.
Yeah, he wants Hey, want to score first? And the thing about a point guard, right? That's what he is in the pudding point guard.
That's to fifth off the office.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Fifth of the office on.
And then the other thing is to in terms of chemistry and and how you come along and bring along place last year or last season, You know, he made a comment that doesn't sit well with I'm sure his teammates when he says, Oh, you know, we definitely needed, you know, a roster upgrade.
Uh, yeah, you could think that you could think that, but you don't make that a public say that you don't say that because that puts your teammates in a bad position.
First of all, they're gonna look atyou sideways, interval.
Now they gotta answer to the media.
If the media questions them about, it's just bad.
It's just bad for chemistry.
And then the second thing that he said this this season, I mean, before this would be positive.
Okay, but let me let me just add just one more point.
Or Dominic joined the broadcast, so hopefully he'll log in and he'll he'll be one of our co host.
Um, just listening.
Dominant, You'll find out.
So anyway, so the other thing that I found very disturbing about Kyrie is that he said, you know that they don't need a coach that they're going to coach by committee.
Collaborate? No, man.
Don't undermine the coach.
Yeah, you could make that statement behind us is don't make it public, because that doesn't it Doesn't You know, it doesn't go over well, you know, willing to listen to a coach.
Yeah, that's right.
Already undermining the coach.
Yeah, well, you know, of course, a good thing I would say that he's got going for himself is that him and Katie have been friends for a very long time.
So hopefully that relationship, he will give it some respect.
He will be able to say, Okay, Katie is the man in this team.
I'm gonna The rock goes through him.
You know, maybe he will say, Okay, I know my role.
And I'm the number two.
I mean, maybe you think you think you for that.
I think that that will have a delay.
So I don't know what Cleveland? I'll chat.
Do you agree? Really Problems with him in Cleveland? I just think that he has a relationship that he had been like.
Best friends referred to KB Now that he's learned he's more mature so that he could actually win, you know, you know, because they'll be it.
It's just it's Katie.
I mean, it's not like you're playing against somebody who's just coming up on the league.
This is like, you know, one of the best players in the league.
Yeah, I agree with the point e.
I agree with the point in the chat about Katie not really having experience as a leader of a team.
Um, you know, with the with the thunder.
He was still obviously super young.
Just getting a start, you know, on then when he went to the warriors, it had, you know, who wanted to be number one, right? And then when? But when he went to the Warriors.
He had to play with the team that was winning with nothing.
They had already.
They had already developed everything.
They had already built their chemistry and everything, and Katie was just adding to what they are doing.
But then in my differs him.
Yeah, but But at the same time, it's not like, you know, he didn't have to.
Really? He didn't.
He didn't have any, I guess, problems to solve on that team.
He came into a team that was already all there, pieces put together.
Essentially, they just fallen short in the playoffs.
Sure, you could tell that they were right on the cost of winning a championship.
They had already won one, but now they have really one.
They had anyone there was just making something that was better.
Eso Katie he came into that situation is just like, you know, let me coast off this to a regular.
See, I'm comfortable saying that, but he also felt he that he was one of the go to guys.
And that was his problem with Green.
Yeah, and he was one of the go to guys, you know, he asked me.
You know, you have pity on your on your team.
You're gonna give him the ball, especially, you know, late in the game scenario like that.
Um, but yeah, You know, it's it's tough when you're coming into a situation where they've already developed a kind of tree.
Like I said, they've already They already have their guys, you know, like, um on giving one side.
Yeah, Well, listen, I'm telling you, it z gonna be interesting to see the dynamics in in Brooklyn, they play together or don't play together.
I mean, they definitely have the potential.
Like you said, Henry paper.
They look great on people.
They look great.
However, however, paper and on the court or two different things, you know what I'm saying.
And until we see this play itself out, hopefully you know, Kyrie has matured.
E don't see it based on his comments because his comments are very current.
We'll see. We will see.
Imagine if Arden would have ended up there.
Well, s, uh, good on you.
So that would have been, but so isn't so I have to get up.
So isn't Nash the coach for the next.
Who's the coach for the Nets? You said it e He respects that.
Yeah, but he undermined it by saying, you know, we're gonna coach by committee.
You? Yeah, but according Thio Dominic, right? He's saying that he made that comment before Nash was hired.
I don't remember the timeline.
You're undermining the coach, right? Because they were gonna hire a coach regardless.
It's not like we're gonna We're gonna We're gonna have a player, coach, like, you know, Kyrie is gonna be the player coach, join our players.
Excuse me a minute.
Listen, that's gonna you want to be a little broad babes of debt.
He had his opportunity to prove himself to be as great or green within LeBron When LeBron left Cleveland for Miami, and then it was Irish team and they dunk.
They were trash.
Yeah, And then when he went to Boston, he was going to an upstart team and it hurt the chemistry didn't better.
They played better without him. There you go.
So, you know, super talented.
But without this guy, he's got a lot of growing up to do? Yeah.
Definitely has a lot of growing up to Dio and it Zain Questionable where it's like how, you know, at this point.
Like how long have you been in the league? Like 2014.
I feel like 2015.
He came into the league around then, Um, so, yeah, it's like, you know, you gotta You gotta kind of assurance of that role if you wanna.
If you actually want to be a leader on a team, Um, you know, if you actually wanna have control of a team the way he wants to, um, yeah, he's gonna have toe.
He's gonna have toe make that maturity.
You know, the thing is, you know, this is what happens with a lot of point cards that air young in the league when they don't have a mentor meaning another veteran who they respect on the bench that plays the same position is, um, off.
How do you with Okay, Yes, you push.
That's all you want.
And you know, team chemistry is another level off leadership that's required within a point guard.
And he's never had that veteran behind him whisper in his ear Listen, Kyrie, do this.
Set this guy up.
You're gonna see that it's gonna pay off in the fourth quarter for you.
Hey, so maybe maybe Steve Nash is the guy.
Now he's a coach.
You need a guy that that's, you know, a contemporary that can play on the floor.
Okay, I'll give an example.
So if I don't know if you follow Chauncey Billups, Okay.
So Chauncey Billups is one of these guys.
If if he was in his, you know, at the tail end of his career right now, and he was still in the league, That's a guy that I would have on the bench behind Kyrie on and whispering.
And Kyron's here.
Listen, this is how you set your teammates up.
This is how you set yourself up? Well, for later in the game.
And if he doesn't listen, you bring him off the bench.
You bring in a chance of building off the bench to show Kyrie and carry sitting on the bench to show courage.
This is how you set up your teammates.
He's never had that.
Ironically enough, Rondo would be a great guy.
The Nets missed out on him.
Yeah, they should have brought him in.
He needs somebody like that.
That's gonna help trade young tremendously.
Oh, a mixed in the house.
What's up? What's up? What's up? You? You! Oh, wait.
So hold up, Hold up.
Yeah, I was talking about You're talking about the LeBron What you're talking about.
We were talking about Kyrie.
We didn't talk about the LeBron Kyrie thing.
We're just talking about Kyrie.
Yeah, I mean, I think I think you need some light up in their Dominican ****, man.
You see your shadow? Yeah, I'm gonna go, You chattel? Yeah.
Yeah, I could keep talking about No, but we want to hear what you gotta say.
Well, I didn't know what I don't know.
What exactly you guys were saying is that better? Way looks much better now.
We were saying that Kyrie in super talented.
Okay, Super talented.
Unfortunately, he's not a good leader.
He's a tremendous point guard.
He's not a pure point guard.
He's a scoring point guard.
And as the result of that, it doesn't help his team win whenever he's had that kind of position.
He had the opportunity in Cleveland after LeBron left to Miami when he went to Boston.
He was supposed to be that missing piece in Boston to take him to the next level, and it just hurt the chemistry.
And now he went to Brooklyn.
The first thing that he says during the last season was they need to upgrade the roster in public to the media, which undermines your teammates.
So that didn't help the team on.
And then before Nash, you know, even coaches his first game, he said.
Look, way don't need a coach we can coach by committee on.
Well, here's up with.
Well, here's the thing.
Here's the thing I don't think you need to be like.
I don't think you need to be a great leader to be a great player.
I think that he is the third or second best point guard in the league and I think that if that Nets team is healthy, um, there will be the best team in the East.
I also think that Kyrie looks at life very different from everybody in the world.
Yeah, so it's kind of one of those things where, like like and I said this in the stream.
And I was like, uh, he said that before Nash kind of got hired.
Like I think it b'more appalling to me if you said, Oh, we don't need a coach and Nationals already hired and is the national Like you know, I think.
And I think Kyrie will like, I think national kyrie a lot and as being, um, or true point guard than he is now.
Because that's what you're gonna have to be with K D unless because unless they run sets in different lineups with Katie out and then Kyle, you're gonna have to score.
But with with Katy and Kyle on the same floor together, he's gonna have to be that you point guard.
And I think he will because Steve National help him, uh, march out of Myers on that coaching staff.
Dirk might be on that coaching staff Mike D'Antoni on that coaching staff.
So I think I think Kyrie has show like Kyrie in Boston.
That wasn't good.
Kyrie had no one in Cleveland to really hope with him.
Besides, obviously LeBron um s o.
But to be you don't need to be a great leader to be a great the NBA player.
I don't think you have to be a great leader toe be a great NBA player, but I think you have to be a great leader if you wanna have, like, success.
Well, here's the thing.
Here's the thing that championships that's true.
I was I was talking about this to earlier is like I don't think I don't think I re gonna get one without LeBron and like, if he is, he's gonna go.
He's gonna have to go through LeBron and if he does that, then I took the hat off to him.
But, like right now, I just put Correa's probably top 10, 1 of the greatest point guards of all time.
And simple is that I'm a duke.
I love Kyrie like Kyrie is my guy.
I just know he just he just looks at life differently and I've accepted it, and I think if that next team is healthy, there's a lot of that za lot of deuces and score 40 on that team live Kyrie Kyrie just kind of seems to me like like I mean almost like a Dennis Rodman level of just like wild card like it's like it could be.
It could be the week before the finals and Kyrie decides that he's retiring from basketball.
You know, something like that.
And he's just gonna like, you know, move toe like some random beat somewhere.
You know, like how How is that kind of where? Yeah, yeah, but I mean again, he He's hit one of the most clutch shots of all time.
He's got one of the best handle of all time.
There's no debate that he's talented.
Yeah, we're not debating that.
He's not talented.
A problem of him talking bad about LeBron just cause you don't have no chip without without LeBron, you don't got no LeBron so, like you like you don't got that opportunity of getting to the finals.
Is that LeBron so, like, the only thing that should come out your mouth is LeBron Was this and this for me? I accepted it like he's a big brother to me.
I don't want to hear.
That is the first time in my career I could give someone else the ball and they could hit like maybe you know, maybe it's maturity going up the chat.
Maybe this is, uh, Katie and Kyrie can bond off their mutual disrespect or hatred of LeBron LeBron.
They they want to team up and and get past them.
Yeah, and that's that's That's not gonna happen because the Nets don't have anybody to guard Anthony Davis.
So it's, you know, that's the thing.
Yeah, that's stuff that stuff.
Kyrie is listed as 23 23.
Best player in the of the best point guards off all time.
No, there's not 23 point guards better than him.
Magic Johnson, Oscar Robinson, Kid What? Fraser Allen Iverson, Gary Payton, Chris Paul, Nate Archibald, Derrick Rose, Tony Parker, Lenny Wilkens, David Chauncey Billups, Dennis Johnson, Russell Westbrook and some dude named Lafayette Lever a Hardaway.
And they even got you know who they got? They got white John Rando.
Well, e guess so in terms of scoring, anyway, so yeah, well, they got Stephon Marbury also, and Stefan was good and they even got John Wall at 40 to listen.
So listen, wrestle What? I'm taking Kyrie over ST Denis Johnson before before Kyrie.
I'm thinking Hey, you're championships.
You think there's Johnson? Yeah.
With on and with the Warriors, the San Francisco Dennis Johnson was over there, out west before Jack Sigma and those boys.
I don't know about those.
I don't know about that list.
That's before your time.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, that'd be working for you guys.
Whoever did that Johnson is not better than Kyrie.
Okay, That's not going to say that.
You don't know you didn't bored.
Where you watch? Give him 60 s? Yeah.
Jordan away, you know? Yeah.
Jordan scored 63 against Boston and lost.
So what does that 63 Dennis Johnson had? Yeah, but Curry Curry Scorn.
Oh, I'm what you will call it on your boy Kyrie. Right.
What gave him 40? Gave him 41 Sin Mob.
Not giving a $30.
Hey way agreeing that Kyrie is talented.
There's no debate, a meaning that he translates into wins.
That's the point.
And you said it best.
There is no championship for Kyrie without Lebron.
It's about winning.
It's about winning you.
Could you It's about the oh, What's the definition of What's the definition of winning.
So, like if they're the first seed and their ships it No, no, no, no.
If they're the first seed and they go and they win, they win the East right And they meet LeBron in the finals and lose.
Is he still a winning point guard? Understand what I'm saying? He's got to do it consistently, All right? You can't do it.
You can't do a one off.
He's gotta do it consistently.
LeBron has been in the fighting for E.
Greek Kyrie in order for him to prove that he's a winning player.
Forget about point.
Ah, winning player.
He has toe win consistently.
It doesn't necessarily mean that he has to win championships every single year, but he has to take his team and have a winning.
Hey has helped with K d.
He has helped located.
We gotta see they gotta do it.
Not just this season.
Next season in a few more season.
And then you're talking about a winning player, though, is Alan Iverson.
Is Allen Iverson a winning player? Yeah, they won games.
They want anything when the player who was whoever cancer Allen Allen Iverson, listen they won game E land right now.
I'm just saying that Anderson on that.
Yeah, on that on that list.
Alan Robinson, Ally, Ever since the top 10 point guard on that list that he just named off and he has no rings, he has no rings.
Right? So we're putting and Kyrie has one.
And Al and Kyrie, I think a better point.
He probably better point guard than Alan Rival Alain Robbe, Don't live person.
You really look at it.
He's probably better point guard and Allen Allen Iverson.
So therefore, that list I just don't see uh, e good players.
It's not just about it's not just about ranks.
You could say it looked longingly, was a central to have a flight.
He's not racist.
Look, yeah, it is not about direction.
Yeah, you're right.
You're right, you're right.
But we're talking about what? Winning, Winning, winning, Winning with Alan Iverson.
That was literally him.
Like he Ah, 6 ft point guard willed E.
I mean, you look at the roster of the 70 Sixers.
They were not that great of a outside of him.
Hey, will them to the finals on his own back.
Kyrie in my eyes isn't doing that.
Yeah, the league is a little different now, but okay, it is.
I mean, I don't think, and I don't think you could take that team now with, like, if you want to match the talent that that team had.
And this now, this era, I don't think that team would make the playoffs.
So, like, it's different areas, different team, but right.
But listen, E every car has never taken any team anywhere.
Hey, actually, he killed the chemistry, unfortunately, right underneath me. I love him.
He did a lot for my right.
No, it might not be a winning player yet, but like, it's okay.
It's okay to be a great too it is okay to do that.
It is okay to be like that.
It's okay to be ah great to it.
Like like Scott Iwas.
Like Kobe was for shock.
Like it's okay to do that.
Well, does you believe that? I think with K d.
He does because he actually respects k.
I think he was Katie that he respects LeBron so I don't know.
I don't think he wants to be set can to anybody.
He made choose to do that with Katie, and that's fine.
If he does that, then that's maturity on his level.
And I'll give him that again.
I think he's talented, man.
If you asked me if I wanna point guard in the mode of a Kyrie in terms of talent is killed handle shot, you know, killer instinct.
But if you're asking me because he wouldn't if you asking me, can he lead a team? You know, Does he have the maturity? The head t know how toe Turn it on when he needs to turn it on and also get his players involved.
His team is it? Well, I have to question it, but that's just being honest.
All right, I know tomorrow, So hire is not a winning player.
Is Yannis a winning player? Yeah, Honest Yanis Yanis is a unicorn.
Yanis Yanis is not even like Yeah, Yannis is like I Yannis is literally just like you have toe.
You have to just let him do whatever he is going to do with that team because he is so special that you can't even categorize it as any other kind of player.
Honestly, e, I think Yanis is just like a different.
But John, this is not a point guard that confused The honest with Kyrie Kyrie job is to distribute the ball Alright that Z that you do your job or your changing decisions that you honestly it is not the point guard That's not his job.
My honest, my honest brought up bringing him up with a different conversation So but with higher iso Um, I think that if you were to start a team right now, you don't start a team with Kyrie.
Kyrie is part of the team.
You start whoever you want to start your team with, understand what I'm saying like and I think that z fine.
That's okay, like I don't think that he's one of those.
I don't think he's one of those.
He's just not that person that you could lead a lead a team with, and that's fine.
Like he might not be like a leader, but I think he's a winning player, though I think he, like, will do what it takes to win.
Like like he wasn't leading Boston.
One player like he wasn't leading Boston was because, like, leadership had a role.
But he also wasn't playing good basketball.
Understand? I'm saying so.
Like he still was still trying.
He was still trying toe win.
He just played really bad.
So e think again.
He's not a leader, but I think he's a winning.
So questions that's happening.
Okay, you see? Oh, if you guys have Thio like, put a team together, who it's like from give me a starting five and can give you 35 1 bench players, if you're six, you have to do era.
You have to do error or right now, starting starting a team.
Who's playing right now? Miguel? You are 100.
I got How about this time you go? Point go.
Point guard point.
We'll do a little draft.
I'll point guard like that.
We'll do a little.
We'll do a little draft.
Yeah. So point guard Stefan Curry.
Now, now, like E playing right now.
So there's gotta be this current era you're playing right now.
I'll go with Rondo.
Yeah, Plane right now.
Currently playing? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, He he Oh, come on, you go.
Eso Here's what You gotta pick your five.
Okay? You gotta pick your five.
And once you pick those whose whoever you pick is off the roster, Okay.
Because you got wrong, though.
Off I got so I'm gonna go with Murray.
So, uh, probably go i e I think I'm split between I'm probably split between like John Moran Luca Dodgers.
But but not that not point cartel.
Mhm. Yeah, definitely.
Okay, e I could have said LeBron James as my point car.
Okay, uh, you're gonna go with job job that z Yeah, John to start running John Morant.
Um, so I get back to back picks and then we'll go.
Ok, um I will pick um, Damian Lillard who took my God.
I'll take Damian Lillard and I will take Devin Booker m I two.
That's your That's a shooter.
That's my That's my That's my everything.
You sure that's just that's just shooting off.
That's my dog. Yeah. Okay.
I'm giving Hannibal left.
You left out your man Kyrie o arguing for you.
David Little of the second best point guard in the league.
I would have picked him.
E dame falls into the category to me of Allen Iverson of, like, winning.
You could be a winning player without getting away with He's a I with leadership.
Yeah, you know what? So who just really I can't hear Gabriel shooting guard.
You I feel I wanna go.
I wanna go. Jimmy Butler.
Oh, Voeller I got my guy.
Yeah, I'm a Roman button.
Yeah, yeah, Rondo, Who you got? No, I got I got bandana Which that Zdanovich you watch.

She's got a bag.
All right, we'll get back to you.
Man e got the warriors the Warriors.
E got Thompson, Curry and Thompson.
He's out for the season.
Yeah, but he's a player.
I mean, if he was good, you know, if he wasn't it, You know, I'm thinking guys that are playing now, technically, he's not hurt.
Technically, he's not.
He's gonna be out the entire season, but Okay, so you're gonna pick another guy, right? You know, whatever you want, man.
As a shooting guard.
Um, man, you took Damien.
Um uh Oh, my God.
Who's out there? There's a really good shooting.
God**** you Look in the chat.
Some some guy would have some guy with a beard with a bit.
Yeah, e o that you could do that.
That's Gabriel, man.
That's a great picture.
I believe apart their victim.
Nobody picked him.
Nobody picked him.
There are a couple of guys we're missing.

Okay, it's And who's just moved forward now? Who somebody was e Oh, God.
He's got Rondo and Bogdanovich and back down a bit and it is a small forward.
Now my small forward, That's a we think way back down the way Mitchell and LeBron let me see whom I was gonna Who Who am I gonna pick? I'm gonna pick.
Cool Island. Uh, hi, Ma.
You got Maury Luca and a D.
Oh, okay, that's better.
Said John Morant and Jimmy Butler.
Yes, it would be o e o.
She just had this off.
Give me C J McCollum.
That's a small lineup, man.
No, we'll get it done.
Oh, you won't get it done.
Gritty guys. like Jimmy.
So who goes now? Uh, I'm gonna do Littler and Booker.
I'm gonna dio uh I'm gonna dio I'm gonna dio I want First of all, I'm gonna do Jayson Tatum.

That's what the work like that.
You get that already? Ugo, he gave me a factory.
