All right, we are live.
I'm just waiting for some people to join real quick before I get into what I have to say today.
Um, once there's some people on, I'll get into, like, the normal introduction spiel.
We got another person on, all right, just give it a few minutes.
We feel like that's a like 23 more people joining and I'll, uh, I'll start.
So just hang in there.
I'll give me two seconds swimming for some people to join really quick.
And I have to set my fantasy football lineup.
I forgot to do that.
So let me set that real quick.
We've got some people on here.
I hope you guys are doing great.
I like to do a little discussion nights on Thursdays.
Maybe joining a little while, I don't know, but for now, it's just me.
On part of the four line podcast Yankees Yankees podcast, as I meant to say, We're we live on here on Thursdays, sometimes Fridays.
Um, Brandon wasn't Brandon might be able to come on later.
I don't know, but for now it's just me.
I just feel like I am.
She wanted to hang out with you guys, see what's up.
Got some football? Well, some some baseball news.
I'm sending my fantasy lineup right now, and I'm a little, um, a little off, but we got some baseball.
Everyone who joined so far.
Welcome to the stream.
I hope you stay for a while.
I'm about to be here for I say, like, 45 minutes.
Maybe, I don't know.
I'm probably gonna get too long because it's not too much to discuss right now.
Um, I'm kind of just about to go off the top of my head with most things.
But all I have to say really is, um, if you're a fan of the New York Jets or any of the Tri state hockey teams, make sure you follow this channel because tomorrow I'm debuting my new Jets podcast views from 3 15 that's coming on tomorrow I'd say around like, four ish, and then we're about to get Trance state trappers with podcast hockey teams.
I'm a double fan.
She jersey and back got my co host Rangers, not on the fans.
Check that out every every Wednesday at 4 30.
So make sure you follow this channel in your sports to make sure you check out the new exports dot com.
I got articles on there of all kinds.
If you like two of those teams, then we would be would be great friends if you like both of those teams.
But like the Jets, that'd be even better.
But anyway, getting what I have to say the hot stove in the movie is getting a little exciting.
Um, nothing too big, Um, no signings anywhere, really.
I mean, just kind of boring this offseason.
I really didn't expect it to go like this, But looking at it now, you see, a lot of teams lost money because of co vid pretty much explains e mean, when your teams teams in the league lose tons of money, they're not gonna go out and pay for all these guys.
You know what I'm trying to say here? They're not gonna like you see, the Phillies lost the most money in the league or something.
There's no weather affording a mega deal for real Muto that way There. It's, like, impossible.
I mean, people like, Oh, Phillies battery, Sanjay T know I doubt it's happening.
I mean, the only good thing that comes out of the M o B.
Like the covert thing again.
People losing money.
Well, this well, let me rephrase that.
There's really nothing good about losing money.
It's just the Mets, for example.
A cross town rivals.
Big didn't lose anything.
The only people that lost anything with the Wilpons and the Wilpons are longer there.
I mean, now you got, um, Cohen comes in with all his money, cool, and everyone's like, Oh, well, let the Mets get George Spring here.
Let the Mets get Trevor Bauer, Mexico and all these guys.
That's not the way it works.
I don't know how many times I have to go over this on my shows that that's not how free agency works.
You can't just go out and below as much money as you want on players.
I mean, some of these guys might not perform.
I mean, it's it's it's very weird.
I mean, Mets fans, they haven't seen much success at all in the past 10 years.
except for 2015.
So they're just like, Oh, we're getting everyone.
They're excited for no reason.
They're not getting everyone, but I'd say they could get George Springer.
And possibly James McCann.
James became was looking Hey, was looking at the Well, let me rephrase that.
The Yankees were looking at MMA Ken briefly, But you haven't heard anything since, Um, last time I was on here last Thursday, the Yankees supposedly we're in close, close, close contact with Corey Kluber.
I haven't heard a word about that since last Wednesday.
Um, it feels like forever since I've heard the Yankees really related anything besides these two things here.
Which is D Jalen Mayhew.
His agent wants a five year contract.
Um, and the Yankees supposedly offered him four if I were the Yankees.
You know what I mean? I've been seeing on Twitter all this stuff don't sign.
LeMay you for more than five.
Don't sign him for, like, six. Don't sign for seven.
I actually think that would make sense.
And let me tell you why.
Because say he declines as his career as he as he gets older.
I mean, how old is D J now? 31.
Let me take a look.
Sorry, I don't know this. I feel like an idiot for that.
But if he gets older within this contract, there's gonna be and he doesn't pretty.
He's 30 to say We saw him to a six year, five year deal.
Will be 37 38 by the time it's done.
That's really not what you want.
And I'm gonna just say that because you don't want to say that guy doesn't produce at age 37.
You don't want that.
I mean, that would not You're paying this guy that ma much to not produce.
I mean, I'd give him for it.
I'd give him four.
I will not give him five, but yeah, you're probably gonna call me out on this.
I want to give him five.
Because of that reason, I mean, you don't say he's declining and like the 4th, 50 year that deal, you can't stick around with that for another two years, you know? I mean, that's my spin on it.
I personally don't think I personally think they should 100% absolutely bring back D.
J. I mean, I don't.
I don't I don't I don't understand why some of these other Yankee fans like, No, we shouldn't bring back.
Then why would you not want to bring back a guy? Won the A L batting title and been your most consistent hitter and probably your most consistent player for the past three seasons? Hold on.
Let me just fix my camera for the best, like, three or four seasons.
I mean, I don't mind my messy bed in the back, but that's not how it's supposed to work.
You know, I'm trying to say here, you don't want to just not bring back a guy who's produced in this whole time here.
You don't want that.
I mean, I doubt anyone would to not bring back a guy who has done the amount of who's contributed amount that he has over his two year tenure in the Bronx.
I mean, especially lessees when all these injuries, I mean, you have a judge staying out.
This guy stood up and this guy was bowling out.
No matter what the cir***stance was, he was hitting the ball he was playing on the field.
That's the type of stuff you need man on.
That's why I quite frankly don't get why people are like, Oh, we shouldn't bring back t.
J how? Yeah, you should bring back LeMay you for that reason and that reason why? Because he hits when no one else is hitting the baseball.
I mean, the Yankees were, in my opinion, offensively, this team needs to grow, and they need to grow a lot on the offensive side of the ball.
You cannot have the guys like judge stand invoice right out, like every single time they like.
You cannot have.
I need to fix my cameras like acting whack today.
I don't like the way some of the angles look, but you don't want to.
Now bring back ago actually hits the ball and heads for contact and not strictly power.
And you, like for say, for example, do it's like LeMay dudes, like avoid John Stanton.
They hit for power.
I mean, And when you hit for power all the time, there comes some risks to that.
And those risks are strikeouts.
You cannot have a high powered producing offense when you're, let's say, 23 and four guys cannot hit for their lives.
I mean, who do you start at? One.
Okay, not bad, but Aaron Hicks needs to hit the ball more.
That's what he needs to do.
And that's what all these guys need to do on the eggs and stop striking out and hitting for power is trying to hit, hit the ball 4 50 breaks Statcast every time.
Europe with the plate.
That's not how it works.
That is not how it works.
And that is not a good way.
Um, producing offense.
That is a terrible way off attempting to get runs on the board.
If you want to call me, I'm a new school type of kid.
I'm turned 16 next week.
On Monday, You want to call me like like new school? You think I'm like a new school guy like, Oh wow, home runs all the time. Now that ain't me.
I want to see small ball baseball where people actually hit for contact instead of trying to hit a grand slam every time the bases are loaded or trying to hit a home run every time there's a guy on beach, I'd rather see just if it's your pitch, hated I don't care if it's just blew up single.
I don't care if it's a double.
I don't care if it's a triple.
I don't care if it's a home run.
Whatever you do, don't swing for absolute power to hit a ball 400 ft to right field.
When there's a runner runner or two on base and you need to bring in a run and then the next guy comes up and does the exact same thing in strikes out, you just need to hit the ball for contact, driving a run, move runners over.
That's all you got to Dio.
Instead of trying to hit monster shots all the time.
You know I'm trying to stay guys, that's what I have to think.
That's what I have to say about that, and that's why you need a guy like LeMay you in your lineup who hits for whatever is available.
If there's a meatball right down the pipe, he virtually it's the home run.
But if it's just like a little, he is also a very good to strike hitter and he also has a great eye to play on like guys like Giancarlo Stand.
For example, who swing at sliders in the dirt every two seconds.
That is not good.
You need guys who could take pitches in your lineup.
Guys like the Mayhew who have great eyes at the plate.
That's what you need.
You don't need toe load up on with a home run hitting guys who swing at a pitch 2 ft below the zone and outside.
That's not what you need.
That is not what you need.
You need people to hit the ball and big situations and to make contact.
That's all you need here.
And secondly, there's been rumors that the Yankees were interested in Josh Belt.
First ba*****t for the Pittsburgh.
I almost said San Francisco Pirates, for some weird reason.
I don't know why.
Hold on one second.
All right, hold on, give me two seconds.
But, oh, as I was saying, Josh, Bill.
I'd like that trade.
I mean, I'm still actually you know what? I'm kind of a little tourney on it, to be honest, I mean, says the Yankees were interested in Alright, that's fine.
I mean, Josh Bell is known for hitting the ball, but he was a little inconsistent last season.
If I'm not wrong.
I'll pull up. Is that they were also talking about a picture.
Tal Italian apparently is pretty good, but he's coming off. Tommy John surgery.
I really wanna wanna risk at risk bringing guy just had Tommy john surgery back in your like rotation.
Like I really wanted risk that.
I mean, unless he actually, like, starts the season Good.
Then you consider trading him trading for him, But here, let me pull up.
Um I mean, pull up his Josh Powell stats, sir, I should have had this prepared, but obviously I didn't.
All right, little pull this up.
So that's winter, and all right, here we go.
Here we go. Bear with me. 2020.
Josh Bell batted to 26 with eight home runs and 22 r b I s all right.
That's That's not bad, but I mean to 26 average.
That's not the best.
All right, so let me look.
His careers at 2019.
Let's see batting average was 2 77.
This was his best season. He was the nominee.
He was in the M V.
1 43 games of 2019.
5520 seven at bats.
94 runs, 146 hits.
Ah, yeah, I mean 37 home runs. That's monstrous.
116 R B I 74 walks and only on Lee.
101 118 strikeouts and 527 at bats.
Alright, let's think about that here.
So he strikes out in 1/5 of his at bats about all right, That's actually not bad.
But when you have, that's actually not bad at all, quite frankly.
But if you have a guy who that's 2 77 like that and hit all those home runs and then falls off a cliff, that's I mean, yeah, it's a short season.
I'll cut him some slack here, But let's look at the strikeouts.
59 strikeouts in 60 games and in 57 games played, that really isn't the best.
If you want to say that, I mean, yeah, after having 118 through 100 through 100 how many games? 143 and 20 1958 strikeouts then? But then he has 59 60 and 57 games.
That's a that would be that would be a bit of an increase, I'd say, but I mean, it's really not bad, but I mean, the batting averages.
What concerns me here, You bad to 26? That's really not the best.
And you have a 33 or five OBP.
That's really not that great, either.
Uh, through 67 OBP in 2019.
Now bed pretty good.
And let's look at the batting averages as the Yeah to 61 in 2018.
That was also one of his other better seasons and was a rookie.
He's had solid averages his whole career.
From 2016 when he was a rookie to 2019, he batted 2 73 and 2016 to 55 2017 to 61 in 2018 three sixties.
Now I'm reading that wrong to 77 in 2019 and then to 26 this year in 2020 with a combined overall average of 2 61 for the career.
Alright, that ain't bad.
I mean, he's decent defensively.
He's a left handed bat.
I'm pretty sure to switch hitter as well.
Let me double check here.
Yeah, it is a switcher, that is.
I like that I like to switch headed switch hitting batters here because dude like Aaron Hicks, because they could face any picture, they could just switch change, All right? Yeah, but the batting average when he bats to What was he to 73 to 77? 2019? Yeah.
That's actually pretty **** good, if you ask me, but I hope he could bounce back in 2020.
Say the Yankees straight from them.
That probably means Luke Void is out the window.
But again, this brings up on alternate scenario here.
Say, Well, actually, it's a little confusing if you think about it because say, you trade for Bell, then you'd put him at first, and then you put LeMay Husic Alright.
Oh, actually, that does make sense.
Sorry about that.
You put Bella first. LeMay you second.
If you re sign him, Torres that short and then Geo at third. That's solid.
But again, last episode or less discussion stream I mentioned that the Yankees should consider trading for Francisco Indoor.
I would love to see that.
I think we all would.
But say you trade for Bell, which really makes no sense.
If you want to trade filled indoor because then you put LeMay you first or a second, um, lend or a short and then geo a third.
That really makes no sense waiting for Josh, because where would you put him? That's wrong.
Where exactly would you put Josh Bell in your in your in field? That's what I quite frankly don't understand if you want to trade from.
But also, you don't have to trade for Linda.
You can if you want to, but you don't have to.
I want I want the Yankees to trade film, though I think I speak for every Yankee fan when I say that if the price is right, though, if you want to give a blue boy in one of those deals, move the maybe the first.
Fine, because look, boy could go thrive somewhere else were here, he would wouldn't even get a spot as the everyday th because you have Giancarlo Stanton.
God forbid he's actually healthy for once.
Instead of sitting on the bench getting paid the millions of bucks to sit there for the whole season because he's always hurt, made out of the glass, but or I mean, it's just it should ever just pose a bunch of difference in euros.
I mean, I'd be open to it, and to an extent, I would not.
I see people on Twitter fooling around.
Oh, let's trade Davey Garcia for Josh Belt.
No, no, no, man.
I ain't giving up Davey Garcia for Josh Bell.
I mean, all right, let's think about it.
Though. Bell is kind of entering his prime.
How the off season it's a 60 game here, Okay, but you need a lefty bet.
But you don't want to treat your top pitching prospect.
I mean, that's just that just makes no sense to me.
I I mean, like, if you wanna throw and Clark Schmidt all right, I could understand it.
You want to throw in some other bums? Alright.
It's a mother prospects.
I mean, not bombs.
I mean, cause they're gonna be good Eventually you wanna throw in some prospects flying? Do it. I mean, I don't care.
I mean, if it's a solid if the if the pirates don't ask for an insane amount of players or all that stuff, I'd be fine with it. I have no problem.
But I also don't want the Yankees going out there and trading away quality prospects or quality players like Garcia and Clint Fraser for Josh Bell, who kind of fell off in 2020.
But again, I mean, it poses a bunch of different scenarios.
Ah, it's it's confusing.
It's help to me.
Um, maybe we'll get answers one day. I don't know.
Maybe a little trade for Bell.
But the first order of business should always, always, always let me sneeze real quick.
Actually, yeah, that was not my point.
I was meaning to make the point.
I was meaning to make is you need to sign LeMay you and you need to do it now.
You can't let a guy like that walk away a proven leader, solid fielder who could play anywhere you want in the infield.
And a very, very, very did I say very good hitter.
You don't You don't wanna let that walk and potentially have that dude end up in Toronto or in the or for the playing for the Mets, especially the Mets, because their inner city rival but the Blue Jays would affect us the most division rival.
You don't want D.
J. Lim a huge assignment.
The Blue Jays, after you missed out on them, that would screw your franchise, bro.
The Blue Jays are going to be good next year.
They're gonna be pretty **** good, And they're gonna make the playoffs again.
They're gonna be a wild card team.
Might even better than a welcome, Because you know what? The A list is gonna be a lot tougher.
If there was a year the Yankees could have wanted, it could have been either in a 2019 or even 2020.
I mean, the Yankees got cheated, cheated in 2019.
We could say that.
I mean, there could have been cheating going on with Houston.
We don't know what what I have to say about that is the Yankees.
The Yankees should have at least I mean, I'm trying to think of what? How exactly? I could freeze this here, but you don't.
You don't want that division to slip away from you.
I mean, you let him slip, lest you you let the raised take first. Alright.
You face him in the L. D.
I'm still ****ed off by the fact that we lost the race in the playoffs.
I hate the race. You guys know this.
I hate the race, but I just don't want to see the Yankees have another free fall of a year like they did near the end of last season.
And like and the August September, this team was like free.
Falling down ended up in third place when the Toronto move, the Toronto could be a legitimate threat to the Yankees.
I feel like the Yankees always have an issue playing at Rogers Center in Toronto.
The Yankees also have an issue playing a Tropicana field for the Rays.
These are legitimate contenders here.
We're just gonna say, I mean, yeah, let's say the raids wanted trade Blake Snell. Alright.
I mean, that takes what one good picture out of a new, already pretty **** loaded rotation.
You want to get rid of one of those guys, Okay, but the razor's still gonna be good.
People seem to forget that people also seem to forget that the Blue Jays are the most underrated team in the league, or one of the most underrated teams in the league.
They're gonna be really freaking good when I say that they're gonna be really good.
I mean, you have Bichette, T Oscar Hernandez, Lourdes Gurriel, Vlad Junior.
And possibly if they signed the May you that could be one of the best teams in the league, one of the most on the radio teams.
And all right, Blue Jays.
They need some pitching help.
I mean, they have hinge in Rio.
Not the best season from this year.
He kind of fell off a bit, but he was alright.
Serviceable. Pretty good picture.
Still to this day. Still a good picture.
But there's guys still on the board.
Say Trevor Bauer signs there.
I mean, talk about that rotation.
Does that talk to the rotation? You have henge in Rio and Bauer.
I mean, that's pretty **** good.
I mean, I'm scared of the Blue Jays.
I've been saying this since 29 the end of 2019.
If I were a Yankee fan.
Well, I actually I am a Yankee fan. Obviously.
Look at my room looking my shirt like my head.
It was I'm a Yankee fan.
I'm trying to say this to other Yankee fans out there.
I'd be scared of the Blue Jays for next season. I'd be held.
Hello, Scared because the Blue Jays are going to be good people.
Well, seem to forget the Blue Jays have one of the best young cores in the league and they're gonna They're gonna be an issue for the Yankees to get past next season.
There's no denying it.
And also the Orioles, we had some issues with them At one point in the season.
The Orioles are going to be good as well.
People forget that, too.
The Orioles are gonna be better.
Well, I weren't necessarily good, but they'd be better.
Then what? They were back last the last three or four years.
I mean, they have a pretty, pretty good young core as well as the as Toronto.
I mean, the Red Sox okay? I mean, they're not they're not really a threat.
I mean, I'd say they finished last again, but the Blue Jays, they're gonna be a tough team to get by.
Along with the raise, the Orioles may pose some issues at some points along the road.
But all I have to say is the Blue Jays, they're gonna be a threat.
The Rays, they're gonna be a threat as they were last season.
We beat them twice in the regular season.
That's a problem.
You got to be teams in the regular season.
You cannot go out and lose meaningful games because, say, we win like three or four more of those games.
Boom, We win the area leased.
That's all that said and done.
We were in the division, but that doesn't really matter at this point.
I mean, it doesn't matter when you have a one seed in a neutral site playing at Petco Park, it doesn't matter and I wouldn't want to play the blue.
I wouldn't have wanted to play the Blue Jays in the first round.
I'd rather take Cleveland because I don't know if you guys know or took notice or remember this.
But every time we faced the Blue Jays last season, it was a shootout.
Every game it was or it was just Ah, lopsided victory.
I mean, you have the Blue Jays scored like 10 runs in an inning one game, absolutely absolutely destroyed us, and then we go out and win the game 22 6 against them to a week and a half later.
And then we went 13 01 and then they beat us like 12 to 2.
It's lopsided as hell.
I mean, it's not really the best baseball.
I mean, yeah, it's fun watching The Yankees scored 20 runs, but it's not fun to see the Yankees give up 13 and only score a singular run.
That is not fun to watch, but the thing.
The thing here is the I wanted.
I wanted to face the Blue Jays in the playoffs.
That's all I got to say for that.
But again, I mean, if the Yankees want to take care of these teams, just manhandle them, take care of them with no problem.
Well, there's obviously gonna be problems.
But if you wanna, if you want to take care of them in an easier and more simplistic way, what you're gonna want to do is re signed.
LeMay who go look for pitching.
Look for Korea, Clubber Bowers, kind of just a dream. At this point.
The Yankees don't have as much money as they once did due to the cove.
It, um but yeah, they might be making some revenue next season with fans.
Understands, But we gotta wait for the vaccine.
The early trials, Aaron, we don't know.
This is not a again.
This is not a co vid podcast, this Yankees, but we need the Yankee is to sign a picture.
I mean, there's some guys out there.
There's Jose Quintana.
There's Corey Kluber.
I mean, I would have no issue with either one of those dudes, but I'd also consider bringing back Tanaka because I discussed the rotation every episode.
It feels like now, last three or so, I'm disgusted.
I mean, say, like to open the season, you have a rotation of coal Tanaka, Clubber Herman and David Garcia.
I mean, it's really not the best.
I mean, that's not a rotation that could win your world, Siri's.
But then you have a guy like Louise Severina.
Boom, boom! You have Coal is a number 17 Reno is your number two Clubber number three.
I'd put Herman four Clubber.
Hold, hold, hold up. I lost track.
Someone just tuned out because of that.
You have cool number 1 72.
Possibly Clubber three, Herman four to knock if I know I put.
Actually, I mean, it could be any order, but I could see the top two being cold. Sovereign.
No, depending on how that goes.
Say, Domingo, her mom comes out the gate.
And by June, he has, like, a one point something.
You all right? Let's Let's just assume I would give him that number two spot in an instant.
But the losses of Severina and her mom were a big but we're huge for the Yankees.
I mean, those were those were terrible losses.
I mean, you can't afford to lose out on guys like that.
Her mom got into legal issues and savory.
No, Tommy John, Tommy John sucks.
I just want Severina be able to stay healthy for a full season.
That would be great, But you need these guys these pictures to come produce.
You need to also sign a guy.
You gotta add extra insurance.
That rotation because, say, a young guy like Garcia, he may have some ups and downs, ups and downs young guy like Schmidt.
You put them in their ups and downs, ups and downs.
You could sign Tanaka again.
I'll bring him back.
Maybe on a one year.
I mean, he looked good in the regular season, but playoff Tanaka was just a shell of himself.
I don't know where.
Playoff Tanaka When I think he was still in New York.
I think the Yankees left playoff Tanaka in New York and we just had inconsistent Tanaka in San Diego.
I mean, don't forget about Georgia Montgomery.
I'm not forgetting about him.
He the 2017 season.
He was actually not been.
But you need him to be more consistent.
He was inconsistent last year.
I mean, he had some solid outings.
That and he just ended up getting no run support and the bullpen just blew it away.
But he we can use some more consistent outings from him.
I'm not saying that he's bad.
I'm not saying that he's good.
I'm saying he needs to be a little more consistent to kind of meet his expects expectations.
You see where I'm coming from here, That's all.
All you need to dio that's all I needed you need him to produce in a way.
And I read some stupid article.
I mean, actually, I wanted necessary.
Are kind of call it dumb.
Actually, that's a better word.
Like like close minded dumb where the Yankees said trade for Sonny Gray again.
Well, if something didn't work the first time, why would you try the same exact thing again? Does that make any sense? Yeah.
Sonny Gray look good in Cincinnati last year. I'll give him that.
Kind of bounced back, and we didn't really lose much from that trade.
But you brought him here when he was at one of the higher moments in his career.
And then you wanna and he sucks.
And then you train them away, and then you wanted to bring it back at another high point in his career.
And so, yeah, you could say Larry Rothschild ruined him with the pitches.
Okay, You can't say that you could say that, All right? It could be a scenario that could have happened, but I don't I'm not quite sure how we will do under Matt Blake.
I mean, my impression of Matt Blake really isn't the best.
I mean, I really I really don't think the guy is super special.
Uh, the rotation kind of regressed last year.
Tanaka then look, is good.
Hole was a little off at some points.
Um, Montgomery looked horrendous for quite a bit.
Um, you map lake needs to be a little market.
And the bullpen? The bullpen was awful.
I mean, all right.
Well, a guy like Louise Cecil stepped up that a little better.
Zach Britton had a great season, but Chapman, Chad Green Ottavino.
What the hell happened to those guys? Those just to be like our three headed monster coming out the pen.
Shut everyone down.
What the hell happened to them? I mean, Ottavino gives up, like, eight runs in an inning right before Ted Green gave up like four.
Ted Green gives up three homers in an ending to the Mets.
Uh, inconsistent performances from both of those guys.
Chapman gives up the game winning home run again in the LDS.
And the regular doesn't look as good in the regular season after coming off the covert list.
I mean, give them a walk off homer to the Mets.
I mean, in your own home ballpark as well.
Don't forget about that.
Where the Mets walked us off in Yankee Stadium? Yes.
Where does that sounds? That actually happened.
But you don't need this.
You need these guys to be better.
You need them to be need him, need him, need him to better.
And that's why I wanted the Yankees to go on son.
A picture of a bullpen guy like bread hand out there. Okay.
He kind of he gave well, game to was your game to the wild card? Siri's bread hand looked awful.
We got to him, we beat them.
We moved on to the next round.
One of the more magical moments of that playoffs on one of the more magical moments of that 60 game season.
But he's shown that he's a solid reliever in this league.
Um, you could also look for a guy trade for a guy like Liam Hendriks, the price is right.
If it isn't, then don't do it.
If it is, then Yeah, but I don't want the Yankees going trading all clump sums of prospects trading all these prospect guys for absolutely garbage.
I mean, for not the best and not the most ideal return.
Like, say, there actually work out.
Yeah, but I don't want to see some prospect to be treated going off somewhere else that would that would suck to see that would suck to see you trade a guy like Garcia and he goes on balls out, like in Cleveland or somewhere else.
And the guy like I mean, I don't want to trade.
I know I speak for a lot of Yankee fans.
I mean, a lot of its kind of thorn.
I mean, some Yankee fans want to trade him some don't.
I don't want to trade clan Fraser.
I think that'd be stupid.
Hey, could be your franchise left fielder, for all I know.
I mean, if you bring back Gardner, he might not get his pull much playing time. As you should.
Let's say you don't bring back Brett Gardner.
You got your starting left fielder and his name is Clinton. Fraser.
I mean, you got him right there.
There's there's no need to consider shopping him unless you're getting like an absolute hall for Hull.
And he's a part of the package.
There's no need to trade him.
I mean, he showed he proved his worth last season.
He showed that he could be a part of this team moving forward and that he is a vital part of the Yankees.
So why give up on him? Why give up on him, Mr Cashman and management? Why would you want to give up on him? Why? Just just explain it to me because he has turned upside Still, Young proved himself, turned himself around, um, became better in the media, became better teammate, became a better fielder, better hitter, and three Yankee fans called him out.
He was like, Alright, bet I'm coming back and I'm going to do better And he did better.
I mean, he comes up in his first game.
It's a home run has, like four hits or some 33 or four hits in his first game up against the breeze.
That time, he needs to continue.
Thio do stuff like that.
I'm getting back to the point where I said, I know I'm skipping all over the place.
I mean, it's the off season.
There's not much to talk about I'm just bringing up a bunch of scenarios that I think are interesting but you don't want.
Yeah, I don't want the Yankees trade for Sonny Gray if it didn't work out the first time there.
I honestly doubt it will work the second time, but it's weird.
The Yankees that the rule of the rule five directors today.
Yankees Obviously some guys were selected by other organizations, and the Yankees also selected some players from organizations as well.
I don't know too much about it.
I have to look into it more and we'll discuss it next discussion.
But I don't have any questions in the chat.
I mean, this really isn't the oh, also another thing.
I mean, I said James McCann Yadier Molina, the Yankees nontendered Sanchez.
Um, I don't think the Yankees should sign Molina.
I mean, he's getting older. He's declining.
I mean, I don't I'm kind of I kind of want to give up on Sanchez because he sucked the past two years, but I really don't want to give up on him.
I mean, yeah, it was 16 game season will say that, but we shouldn't give up on him just yet.
I mean, I wanted I I'm ****ed off at Sanchez for playing awful last year.
I mean, I kind of want to trade him, but I kind of don't, um I mean, CNN Mass.
Right now in the Dominican League is fun to see.
I mean, the guy's raking the ball, and I just hope that carries over to spring training.
And I hope that carries over to the regular season, where it turns back into the Gary Sanchez he once was and shuts everyone up, including myself.
Um, I doubted him.
Pretty mostly Yankee fan bases doubted him.
If he if he could shut us up, stop us from doubting him.
I would love that.
I mean, I don't really like people trying to shut me up, but if Gary Sanchez go ball out from my team, I love it.
I'd absolutely love to see him go off next season, but again, we don't know.
It's well as you.
If you think about it.
Baseball season is about Well, I mean, if you want to say about, like, five months away, Um, it does.
It seems like a lot, but it really isn't.
I mean, I'm in school right now, for the school.
I'm at my house.
Obviously, I'm doing virtual school.
I mean, this year is kind of going by a little quick.
Honestly, I mean, I don't like school too much.
It feels like the Yankees just eliminated yesterday, Miss Yankee baseball.
But also, I miss other sports.
I mean, I'm a Sacramento Kings fan for basketball.
We come back tomorrow night.
I played with the I actually like knocked over one of my wires set up on my desk, but I'm a big Sacramento Kings fans for basketball.
Preseason MBA starts tomorrow.
I'm like, I'm hella excited for that dude.
I mean, the king's kind of suck, but it's fun.
Toe have other sports on TV.
The Jets are dog poo, Asai said, doing the Jets podcast soon, But I'm just I just miss the Yankee Yankee baseball and I probably speak for everyone when I say that, and I mean, yeah, basketball's coming back.
Also, I can't wait to watch it, but and hockey I mean, you see, I'm a big double Fanuc about in my room here.
Um, I'm looking forward to it.
I know the devil is probably gonna suck this year, but I can't wait to see it.
Um, but, I mean, I pretty much covered everything I wanted to talk about today's episode.
I mean, it really wasn't too much.
I mean, the comment chats kind of dry. No one, really.
No one really talking, but hold on one second.
Yeah, but I I'm pretty much, I guess, wraps up.
Today's episode actually got some 22 people joined, but, um, there's really no, I mean the chats.
Been driving. No questions. No nothing.
Um, has been questions since for a few weeks.
