I'm Matt Williamson with yard barker here to talk about the Patriots going to L.
A. To take on the Rams.
And I think this should be a really good recent Super Bowl matchup for Thursday night and New England Blue the Chargers out last week to get the 500 they've won three of their last four games.
But this is a much better Los Angeles team than the Patriots played last week.
Uh, the Rams defense is the best in the league by a pretty wide margin in yards allowed per play.
No one runs the ball a higher percent of the time.
The New England and their offensive line has been exceptional this year in the run game, however, the the Rams opponents this year have really chosen to attack this defense through the air, and that New England line will really have their hands full with Aaron Donald and this scheme in general.
Um, Los Angeles is other elite.
Defender Jalen Ramsey really doesn't have a true number one Patriots receiver to follow in this matchup, though I'm really curious how they employ him.
Maybe he does a variety of things in this game UM the Rams were one of the best.
Defense is in the lead on a points per game basis.
They're one of five.
Defense is the average at least three sacks per game and have been incredibly good on third downs.
Cam Newton could really have difficulties against this unit, especially throwing um, as usual, New England has been very strong on special teams, and that has been a problem area for the Rams.
Something to really keep an eye on.
We saw that really come to fruition with the Patriot Charger game last week.
Um, only five teams are allowing fewer points per game than the Patriots.
The Rams are amongst the best offenses in the league at not allowing sacks, and New England's defense is amongst the worst of producing ***.
They don't really have a high end pass rusher and more so than most quarterbacks, Jared Goff is clearly better with a clean pocket and should have that on his on his side on Thursday night.
The Rams air amongst the best teams in the league in time of possession and their run blocking has been outstanding.
Cam makers could be in the process of taking this back field over.
He's really come on of late.
He's actually running more routes now, too, Which may be his reception numbers will start to spike a little bit. They've been very low.
Uh, this seems like a low scoring game to me, and I think Bill Belichick, who have a great understanding of Shah McVeigh's offense and what they're trying to accomplish, but I still like the Rams, 21 20.
I'm Matt Williamson with yard bargain.
