Hello, everyone and welcome into another broadcast.
Today we have the Ravens and the Cowboys here live from Baltimore, Maryland Ravens to kick off to the Cowboys on SportsCastr the Ravens This season, they have had a rocky road and are six and five, but not as bad as the three and eight Cowboys who last played a game on Thanksgiving against Washington.
And they lost that game.
So they're now three and eight as they take on the Ravens.
Here's the kick goes back to the fore.
The return is going to come out to the 14 yard line a little bit past.
They're actually more around the 19 yard line, and that is where the Cowboys offense is set with Andy Dalton playing in another season.
Yes, sir, he's been on a lot of them in his career versus the Ravens.
His record is 88.
Completion percentage is 56.
6, his lowest against any team.
So you could see the Ravens have gotten the best of him in a lot of matchups.
But tonight he looks to prove otherwise.
Does he face faces the six and five Ravens? Here's the handoff with Zeke Elliot and Zeke is pummeled with only a gain of one on the play.
Thank you gave Xmas for joining the broadcast.
This is our second day of NFL broadcasting.
We had yesterday the Steelers and Washington.
Washington beat Pittsburgh and what was really a thriller.
Nothing Steelers, but in the second half, boy did they turn on their offense.
Washington came out hot, and they beat the Steelers 23 to 17 for their fifth win of the year.
Again, they go to Zeke with the ground game, and this time he's gonna pick up a little more.
And he's going to get to around the 27 yard line pretty close to a first down.
Gonna be about third and short here, 32 to be exact.
The Cowboys this season still fighting for the division there behind Washington and New York.
It's still possible that they could win the division, but the playoff hopes look very slim going forward the rest of the five games they have, including this one.
So things look very, very, you know, not too happy for the Cowboys.
Is this past complete city land for first down? They don't look too, you know, optimistic.
But I think a lot of people, uh, in this Cowboys organization have faith that the Cowboys will be able to pull through.
Thank you Bleed Red and Jim Fan of Heat for joining the broadcasts.
But you could see this passing offense is one of the best in the league, their eighth overall.
But that running offense, 17th and Zik Elliott's certainly not the great Zeke he was, but trying to at least have a good game tonight against a Ravens defense that is certainly gonna have some struggles if Zeke in turn it on.
But that's if he can turn on.
This past is complete again to see the Lamb, and he's gonna pick up about nine yards and get close to a first down.
The NFL ranks. They're rushing.
Defense is 12th overall.
The Ravens are, but they're passing defense even better.
1/9 their defense eighth overall.
And they've had a great defense for almost a decade now, where it just seems like every year their defense gets better or at least stays the same.
So they've had a great defense over the years.
The handoff to Zeke Elliot is gonna pick up the first down.
So a combination of Zeke Elliott's running game and the passing game to see the Lamb has now combined for two first downs and the Cowboys getting close to midfield.
Now on their first drive of the game, the Ravens last played.
If you remember against the Steelers without Lamar Jackson, J.
Dobbins, Mark Ingram on many other players in that one, they ended up losing Robert Griffin.
The third could not hold down the fort, despite the fact that he had a pretty good running attack and the Steelers were ableto pummel the Ravens in that one.
This play here is gonna pick up the first down, but there is a flag down on the field.
Of course, the good thing about these extra games, quote unquote the games that have been moved is that we get an extending look at the week.
So you know you get this game on Tuesday and you have extra games that you get to watch that you normally wouldn't have any NFL games on a Tuesday.
So that's something optimistic penalty here on the offense, and it's the holding right here, just kind of lets him fall I mean, that's not really that much of a hole that was more of a flop than it was.
Ah, hold 1st and 20 now for the Cowboys.
After being moved back here from their own 32.
Dalton, with five seconds on the play clock looks throws, completes it to Zeke Elliot.
But for a loss of three, or actually gonna be a loss of four on the play, it's gonna be second down in 24.
And the Ravens, they're fighting for the playoffs.
But in prime time, they have had not so much luck.
I mean, I lost to the Patriots.
Obviously, they had that big loss to the Chiefs.
They've had a lot of tough games this season.
We're in prime time or in games that they should win.
They have not come up big.
You know, I lost to the Titans, two losses to the Steelers and now against the Cowboys.
So I think you can relatively say that this is gonna be a good game for the Cowboys.
I think you'll see the Cowboys come out attacking and we'll give you more.
I'll talk more about that as the game goes on a CD Lamb gets back to the line of scrimmage.
But I think I think you'll see the Ravens come out and take the lead first.
I think that, you know they will start off with, you know, that controlled kind of game where they, you know, have a little running kind of passing attack.
And I think that you'll see now on 3rd and 24 after that last one, where it went nowhere with C D Lamp.
I think you could possibly see the Ravens taking a 16 to 3 lead or something like that, but I think you'll see a diminished as the game goes on.
I really do like the Cowboys chances in this one, although experts say it's a Ravens ballgame today.
Zeke Elliot on the shovel pass from Andy Dalton, is gonna pick up about nine yards, but it's gonna be nowhere near what they needed for a first down, and it will be fourth down.
They'll have to punch it away, But those are the things right there, like a shovel pass.
Why not throw the ball downfield? Why are you doing a shovel pass like where do you think that a shovel pass is going to go in the NFL on that kind of, Ah, third and long right there.
I just really don't understand.
Here's the punt now on 4th and 15 fair catches made back at the 16 yard line.
That is where the Ravens offense will take over and Lamar Jackson, the former unanimous M v p.
Who did not play against the Steelers, as mentioned back on the field today against the Cowboys.
I think there's really two outcomes to this game.
I think it's either the Ravens choking, um on and or they destroy them.
I don't think the Cowboys will destroy the Ravens.
I think you will see the Ravens come out, have a strong attack, and I think you could see the Cowboys maybe pulling off the thriller.
That or the Ravens will destroy them.
And I say this because the Ravens we have seen it all year where they've played games like against the Eagles, where they had such a big lead and then it came down to the final moments.
We've seen games like this.
Ah, very ah lot.
We've seen a lot of these games for the Ravens, where it feels like they're gonna win it.
They've had games where they beat teams by a lot, and then they've had games where it's like Is this the team that went 14 to 2 last year? You had the best quarterback in the league.
You could say that last year.
Is this that team where you know, against the Titans, where they lost against the Steelers against the Patriots, where they lost? Is this really the team that is going Thio be feared among the NFL in the postseason? I understand that if the Ravens make the playoffs, they'll be feared.
But is it worth fearing the Ravens, when you're looking at what they've done this year? And it's like, Have they even they haven't even beaten any good teams this year.
They lost again.
They lost to the the Onley.
Good team is the Browns, who they beat.
The Brown still aren't really the greatest team they've lost toe.
The thing about the Browns is I'm I still don't have confidence and then I still think they are not going to compete with the best teams.
But there are good team overall.
So again you look at the Ravens.
They lost to the Titans the Ravens lost to the Titans.
Guys, thank you should be Cubby for.
During the breakfast, the Ravens lost to the Titans.
They lost to the Steelers twice.
They lost to the Patriots.
Those air four games that really make an impact.
You also lost to the Chiefs.
Those Air five games that make an impact.
Those air, all five of their losses are against good teams.
All five are against good teams.
So it's like again, how good are the Ravens when you put them in a category off? You know the NFL's best? Is that really what they are? I still think you could look at the Ravens.
You could say it's possible that this team will miss the playoffs this year.
If the playoffs started today, the Ravens would be out because it is the Dolphins who hold that seat.
However, the Dolphins have one of the toughest remaining schedules in the NFL, so most likely, you're going to see the Ravens have a chance at that.
See, it's either gonna be them of the Raiders or the Patriots.
So one of those three teams right there from the 16 now is Hollywood.
Brown goes in motion they handed off to J K.
Excuse me, That's Mark Ingram up the middle for about 2.
5 yards on first down, the more Jackson like we mentioned, did not play this Ah, this previous week, which they lost to the Steelers but Lamar Jackson this season.
A completion percentage of 68.
4, 1948 yards, 15 touchdown, six interceptions.
So Jackson's not having as great of a years he's having last year.
But you could see that the impact of not having a star wide receiver not having a dominant wide receiver like a Julio Jones or a you know, I don't I don't know.
You just don't have an Antonio Brown or something like that.
But he could certainly run the ball, as he does here to the 29 yard line.
Picks up a first down and you've seen his rushing attempts been minimized this year.
You know, they've used a lot of that attack with J.
They've used Mark Ingram, and there are a little bit, but Lamar Jackson, you know, hasn't used as much of his running game as he did last year.
But you could see right here clearly making an impact on second down is a picks up the first and moves that sticks to the 29.
Now, 1st and 10 takes the snap fakes.
The handoff looks to pass, does pass its Mark Ingram and Ingram is looking to get back to the line of scrimmage.
Might have picked up a yard in that little scramble catch right there on first down.
So again, Lamar Jackson still not sold on his passing game.
Yeah, I said it last year.
The 31st passing in the NFL There were 32nd last year, the third rushing their 23rd overall in offense.
I'm still not sold on the Ravens.
I still think that they can't pass the ball because they still don't have that star receiver.
They don't have a Julio Jones, which I begged for them to sign in the in the free agency period or, excuse me, not free agency, period.
In the trading period right before the trade deadline, I said they gotta sign Julio Jones because Lamar Jackson doesn't have the EVP caliber player to throw to.
This past is complete.
It is Hollywood, Brown to the 33 yard line.
Gonna be third and long now for the Ravens, so you know that's the problem.
I want to see what Lamar Jackson could do with a guy like Julio Jones or not even him.
Like a guy like Godwin or a guy like you know, I don't know.
There's so many guys that I just want to see him work with.
Personally, I think that I'm not sold on Jackson because I haven't seen him play with a good receiver.
That's why I'm not sold on him being, you know, not a good passer.
I'm not sold on him being good passer or bad pastor, because I haven't seen a work with some of the best in the league.
He really only has those two tight ends.
And, of course, this passes intercepted, and that passing game again can go nowhere.
Lamar Jackson seventh interception of the season.
We'll put the Cowboys in Ravens territory at the 33 yard line, but again here throws across his body.
It's tipped off of Denver Duvernay's hand and picked off.
So again you know he's got the two tight ends.
He's got Duvernay and he's got, you know, Hollywood Brown, all right.
I think that was Hollywood Brown who actually hit his hands.
It was Hollywood Brown.
So as I was about to say his name, This is the problem for the Ravens.
They don't have the balance passing game that they need to have to be in the playoffs.
And right away here an interception is gonna put the Cowboys actually at the 34 yard line.
Now here's Dalton takes the snap on first down.
He's gonna pick up two yards on first down.
Andy Dalton, already four for today.
So completion percentage.
You're looking pretty good on the stat sheet.
And Lamar Jackson, on the other hand, already got one interception today.
And you could see, you know that's just working off the roster.
You know, you will see that kind of play working off the rest for the Ravens, is they, You know, they've come off some tough games, and that really wasn't Jackson's fault.
That ball should have been caught.
So again, it's just working off the rust for the Ravens guys.
A lot of these guys have been out due to co vid they haven't played as much.
So you're saying, you know, you got to take that into effect.
You gotta put that into you know your head and say, Okay, well, these guys working off the rust, they're getting back into the NFL games.
Here's the Sikh Elliott up the middle down to the 19 year online, And this is the thing we talked about for the Cowboys.
Getting that Russian game going today against the Ravens is going to be key, especially when you see the passing game struggling.
You want Zeke Elliot to find these holes up the middle? You want the blocking toe workout.
So that way, the Cowboys can thrust on that running game today and again.
He's been one of the best in the NFL for a long time.
Obviously has not had a great season this year, but the fact that he you know, it's still the guy that he is still that image where you look Zeke, Zeke Kelly.
And you see that monster guy that he once Waas is still in your head.
This passes complete for about two yards here, not very much.
And second and eight coming up.
Lexie Poo for joining the broadcast just a little bit over five minutes to go here in the first quarter.
Second and eight Ravens have the ball at the 17 year old line of Baltimore after the interception that came off of Hollywood.
Here's a handoff toe.
Elliott up the middle, gonna get Thio the 13 yard line.
Pretty close, Thio.
You know, not really close to it.
First, I'm gonna be about four yards.
I was going to say pretty close to a first down.
So third and four coming up for Baltimore.
For the Cowboys, Baltimore gives it up.
So Cowboys in this position right now.
Dalton five or five for 11 yards and there's nobody in the backfield with him.
So you think it's something that might maybe CD lamb here? Here's the past to the end zone, and this ball is incomplete.
He was looking in the direction off Michael Gallup, who was Ah, lone man, the right left corner of the end zone.
And it's incomplete so forth of four, and the Cowboys might have to settle for a field goal here.
But again, this is This is a nice route.
He gets the separation that he needs, and Andy Dalton just can't put the past where he needs it to be.
So here comes the field goal.
Now it's Greg Zuerlein, 21 of 20.
For this year is long has been 59.
This is gonna be a little bit a little bit of a shorter one.
Gonna be on Lee, a 31 yard er So my friend is not gonna have to kick a bomb right now.
Cowboys lead it three to nothing as they strike first here in this Tuesday Night Football match up, Lamar Jackson and the Ravens look, Thio, get some redemption.
When we come back with 4 21 to go in the first, you're on SportsCastr, and we're back with the broadcast here on SportsCastr Ravens going to get the ball back after Lamar Jackson through his first interception today.
Seventh of the season Ravens defense, the third fewest in the NFL in points per game allowed this year, 19.5.
And that's certainly carried them along the way and will tonight against the Cowboys.
If the offense does not show that's scoring, drive for the Cowboys is gonna go down in the books as six plays, 21 yards, two minutes and 42 seconds and zero line to kick it away.
Now to the Ravens trying to redeem themselves.
And Devin Duvernay is gonna let this ball go out to the 25 1st and 10 for Baltimore's offense here on a cold and frigid night in Maryland as we get close to the winter season and certainly seems like it's gonna continue to be that way in Maryland, I mean, certainly gets cold around this time, and it will certainly feel that way for opposing teams.
We head into the winter season, quote unquote December late December and those last three games.
That's when it starts to really get cold.
And then, obviously, if you make the playoffs, that's when it's even more frigid in January.
Here's the run up the middle with Edwards, who was used a lot against the Steelers and that offensive scheme with out Dobbins and in room, and it's gonna pick up seven yards, second and three.
But Dez Bryant, obviously a main focus in this one, returning to play against his old team, Bryant was a long time cowboy and, uh, gets to play against his former team and has returned to the NFL.
Here's Lamar Jackson up the middle and dives for first and that some of the plays like I don't know if you watch him last year.
If he does dive right there, like if in a situational play like this last year, if he would dive right there or, you know, try to pick up some more yardage, Clearly they've been more.
They've tried to conserve his running game, so that way he's not running his legs out.
So I think that's also been a main topic off the Ravens offense.
Who has 25 rushing yards today.
So it's like, you know, trying to contain him.
So then he's not losing, you know, playing time due to injury.
So I think that's very important for the Ravens offense.
Here's a handoff. It's J.
Dobbins off the middle, down to the 25 actually, 45.
Sorry would have been 25 if you could have kept on going, but J.
K Dobbins, right here finds the whole right up the middle, is able to get through it and makes a great running effort here on his first run of the night and J.
Dobbins coming out of Ohio State, the rookie been very involved this year is able to get that Ravens off all the way down to the 45 yard line off the Cowboys is this Ball is going to be a bad snap.
Dobbins does fall on it, though.
It's going to be second and long now, with just above two minutes to go in this first quarter, Ravens currently losing to the Cowboys, three to nothing, second in 18 from their own now 47 yard line.
Jackson takes the snap, looks throws, completes it to Hollywood Brown of the line of scrimmage.
And he's gonna muscle his way for a few yards past midfield, down to around the 49 yard line.
And tonight's matchup rushing yards per came. Wow.
Well, the Ravens air second rushing attempts per game.
Their third Cowboys air 32nd in both of those categories and in points per game.
14th are the Ravens in points per game.
So you could see this Cowboys offense has certainly has certainly been a problem this year, and that's part of the reason why there currently three and eight, this passes caught over the middle, and I believe that was Hurst for the first.
For near the first thing, I'm gonna be fourth, the two.
We'll see what Jackson and the Ravens offense they're going to do here.
Looks like they're huddling up some guessing.
That was actually Wilson who caught the ball.
Not Hayden Hurst.
Well, Wilson, who caught the ball? They're gonna go for it here.
It's fourth and to their eight of 13 this year on fourth downs, and they take one now from no man's land at the 37 yard line.
Jackson, with David's in the backfield, takes the snap, takes the handoff, keeps it himself, goes up the middle, picks up the first down, and he's got no one around him.
Lamar Jackson up the middle, closes the gap and picks up the touchdown.
And right here, just a little fake.
There is no one near him as he goes right up the middle.
You've got you know, these two linebackers who wait.
Then they go at him, and then there's nobody to catch him.
Not a single cowboy in sight and the Ravens are gonna go up 6 to 3.
And now the extra point from Justin Tucker is good.
The Ravens lead it seven.
So, three with 25 seconds to go in the first, it's Lamar Jackson, Baltimore's finest.
You're on SportsCastr.
Yeah, you know, And we're back with the broadcast here on SportsCastr Baltimore leading at 7 to 3 and the Cowboys competing in a tough Division five and seven.
Giants five and seven, Washington three and eight.
Fill 381 Philadelphia should have been.
Should have been for Nate had they actually gone forward against the Bengals and the three and eight Cowboys.
That scoring drive gonna go down in the books is seven plays, 75 yards and a Lamar Jackson touchdown.
And this return is gonna go past the 40 45 50 40 30 and all the way down to the 27 yard line.
The Cowboys Pullard goes almost all the way.
What a great distance.
He travel on foot right there.
And the cowboys get great starting field position here to start their third drive.
But again, this is the thing where you just can't give this to the Cowboys and offense that suffers as much as they dio.
You cannot give up these kind of plays on special teams, where you're almost making your kicker have to make the tackle.
You can't do that because you're putting the Cowboys now at the 20 yard line, where if they can't score a touchdown, they still get a field goal.
So you're giving the worst off one of the worst offenses in the league, the worst in points per game.
Ah, great chance here this past complete to see the lamb to the 14 year line.
So it's like instead of making them go 75 yards, you just made them on.
Li have to go 28 now and now it's only 14 after that play, which already goes half the distance they needed to get the touchdown.
So it's like you're literally wasting everything that your defense is going to do for you.
The special teams that cannot happen.
End of the first quarter.
Ravens, up 73 will stare during the break, so it's like you just can't do that if you're Baltimore because you're putting this team in a position where they now have to play extra good defense because you're making the cow you're making, Think out.
Yeah, you're making the Cowboys, you know, very easy.
You're giving them or very easy scoring drives.
So those are the things right there where it's like if your offense is suffering the way it has been, then you know this defense is going this the this defense is gonna be a thing where it's like, you know, they have to work extra hard, and that's gonna be the whole entire purpose tonight.
So that special Teams unit cannot give up place like that.
And that Cowboys team, you know, they've got to keep getting plays like that because that's what's gonna propel them to this victory over the Ravens, who really need this game.
This is a must win game for both of these teams.
If they lose this game, they really put themselves in a tough position.
It's a must win game for both of these teams, especially the Cowboys, who right now losing this game really take themselves out of any playoff position.
If they had a chance.
You know, they take themselves to three and nine, and that puts them way behind where they wanna be.
You're still in contention, but three and nine is not where you wanna be.
So, you know, if I'm the Ravens right now, this is a very important game to win.
But even for the Cowboys, even more, you know the Ravens lose this and they're not tied for the Ravens and the Patriots.
Which is not a good thing to be at because the Patriots did beat the Ravens earlier this year.
So they have in that head to head matchup, they now have the advantage in playoff position if both teams were to tie it 10 and six.
So this is game is very important for both of these teams.
But, you know, again, especially for this cowboy, see him Thursday night Football coming up Very soon, just two days, we will be seeing the Patriots take the field.
And so if I stadium against the Rams, I'm very excited for that one to going to see my boys play the Rams, and I'm hoping we can win that one, too.
Here's Pullard on the run is gonna pick up a few yards to the 12 yard line you're on first down.
Andy Dalton today has not had to throw for many yards.
He's just six of seven for 25 yards, but the man is still playing in the NFL, had a long career with the Bangles, was signed in the offseason by the Cowboys as the backup quarterback and went into play after Jack Prescott suffered that terrible injury.
That he did and that gave him his chance of concussion sent him back.
But he is back better than ever.
It seems this past complete to get up for the touchdown, and the Cowboys lead it.
If this play will hold up, there is a flag on the field.
You're on this play passing touchdown to Mr Michael Gallup and we will check the flag here.
See what it's all about.
Could be an offensive holding right here.
But see, I don't see anything, and it is a penalty against the Ravens, so that means the call will stand touchdown cowboys.
They lead it as they take the lead right back from the Ravens, and this is the kind of game you want to see when you get a great matchup on Tuesday football, You want to see a close head to head game right off the bat.
And that's what we seem so far.
The Cowboys have played very well when they need Thio and the Ravens.
You know that special teams play really set the Cowboys up.
It's still on only ballgame 14 19 to go in the first half, but the Cowboys take a 10 to 7 lean off oven.
Andy Dalton, Michael Gallup connection will be back after the break.
You're on SportsCastr Quick, I'm Uh huh, Yeah, great.
I yes, happening and mhm.
Yeah, and we're back with the broadcast here on SportsCastr the Ravens.
Giving up that touchdown to the Cowboys puts them behind by three here in Baltimore.
A beautiful but cold night in the city off Baltimore here in Maryland.
And that's scoring drive.
Three place, 28 yards a minute and six seconds in Gallup.
That 13 yard touchdown to number 13 puts the Ravens behind 14 19 ago.
Here's the kick from Zuerlein goes back to the end zone and Devin Duvernay says, No, I'll let it go out to the 25 yard line, and that is where the Ravens offense will start.
Here's another look at Lamar Jackson and this interception or no, excuse me, this is the run.
Rather, this is the run where he is not the interception.
This is where he runs right away.
The fake handoff sets up a perfect run because it's man all man all the way, meaning there's nobody in the middle on his own coverage.
So they are not prepared for this run from Jackson because they have the two linebackers back who would be there to cover him in that initial play.
But when they pull forwards towards the blocking, that sense of Lamar Jackson for a perfect running opportunity again he goes to the ground game.
It's gonna pick up one yard on this play, gonna be second and nine so you can see how just a little little just technicalities in the coverage can change the swing off a game like this, which is so very important between these two teams who again need to win.
It's a very important game for both of these teams.
Second down for the Ravens offense.
Lamar Jackson hands it off.
The handoff throws over the middle. Could've sworn e.
Could've sworn he handed it off.
Did not, though, and throws it over the middle and connects with Hollywood.
Brown earlier this season was complaining about not enough connections.
Not enough, You know passes to him. Brown.
Obviously, camp coming into the season is certainly going to be was certainly going to be, You know, the main focus of this Ravens offense.
He was the focal point of the passing game, and so far this season, you've seen more of you know the what is this Ravens offense anymore? This run with Edmunds Edwards rather going to get all the way down to the 29 yard line, and Edwards, with a big time running game on third down, picks up a first.
And again, this was the thing that was talked about going into this game.
How would the Cowboys defense be ableto handing the hand handle the best running game in the entire NFL? And right here you could see Edwards having a big night.
K. Dobbins, Ingram, Lamar Jackson.
Everybody has had a big run tonight, and you can clearly see that this Cowboys defense is not prepared for a Ravens offense that already has 117 rushing yards.
They handed off again.
Here, in this run is gonna pick up a few yards down to the 26 yard line.
So the Cowboys already note already a note on the screen for the second half is get this running defense prepared for what is going to be a Ravens tsunami in the second half.
If they don't, if they don't already destroyed them in the first half and then get ready for an even worse second half, I'm telling you, notes, You've got to fix this Cowboys.
You have to fix this right now.
You have to allow them under 250 yards today, which is still a lot.
Anyways, this run with England picks up the first down and everybody joining the party for the Ravens today, and I think some of those offensive lineman might want to get a chance of running the ball here.
I mean, the Cowboys defense could probably let John Harbaugh won the ball right now.
I mean, they're all over the place, and with a running defense like this, the Cowboys clearly put themselves in a position where it's like you can't do anything.
You just can't do anything.
You just have to see how Maney you know, runs they're going to do, and you just you can't do anything, it seems.
And another run here, three yards, pick up.
They can run this over and over and over and over again, because if it works, why why would you change it? If something works, there's no reason to change it.
So again, if they can run the pause, you could see Greg Roman up in the booth.
Offensive coordinator calling these plays for the Ravens offense.
If they can keep doing this, there's absolutely no reason why you wouldn't keep running the ball.
Here's Jackson pitches it back to Dobbins.
Dobbins is gonna be tackled here with a gain off.
Nothing third down.
So it's like, you know, the Cowboys defense.
All they need is a few place where you know they can stop this Ravens offense.
And here it was Louis who actually did this right here.
It was Louis who went down to the ground on this play and then ended up redeeming himself and was able to get the leg of Dobbins and make the tackle third and eight.
Now, with about 10 minutes to go, the Ravens place place selection has been 13 rushes, six passes, and as time winds down on the play clock, Jackson will take the snap.
Look, throws completes it and it's the only gonna be about a four yard pickup.
They're gonna be short of the first down.
It's gonna be fourth down, and it looks like the Ravens they're gonna have to settle for a field goal right here on fourth of four.
But under pressure, he pump fakes here and he just has to sling one.
That really it really doesn't make sense.
I mean, there were five guys in front of them. It didn't make sense.
Should have looked downfield even more than I mean.
And that was really no man's play Land play right there.
So that just didn't make sense.
Justin Tucker 91 field goal percentage highest all time, and his career has been so, so amazing.
Here's the 31 yarder Zuerlein made one.
Let's see if he could make one and there are before snap penalties.
As the kick was good.
There were before sin that penalties and we'll see if this is gonna move the Ravens back.
Any yards here and false start on the offense.
So five yards will make this a 36 yard er.
That's on Bradley Bozeman.
Justin Tucker has made 70 straight field goals since 2016 under 40 yards.
He has made 70 straight, so you could see how lights out this man is.
When you talk about lights out, you think about a wide receiver, a quarterback or something like that.
How about a kicker whose lights out Justin Tucker is just lights out? Here's the kick and it is no good.
Well, we just drinks them. Definitely.
Come on, Joe Buck 10 to 7.
The Cowboys leader will come back after the break and hopefully just to talk about still be still.
He will still have some stamina, some courage.
After that, we'll be back after the break.
Your on SportsCastr? Sure he's used.
Well, yeah, Yeah.
And we're back with the broadcast yard SportsCastr.
The Cowboys taking over at their own 26 yard line after the missed field.
Goal passes complete and keep on chugging Is Amari Cooper who picks up the first down and is tackled with a gain off 11.
Now from the 37 8 20 to go and this passes champ, and it is picked off almost the same kind of play we saw that happened with with the Cowboys.
And it's actually around the same field position is Wake one back in this ball bedded, bedded up, tipped and picked off.
So same thing that happened with the Cowboys happens with the Ravens, where you have a ball that is tipped and then picked off at around almost the exact same area, and I'm sure people will be.
That's a coincidence right there.
I mean, that is literally the exact same area where it happened with the That's funny.
That's the exact same area, almost.
I mean, it might be a yard difference.
That's well, there'll be a lot of people buzzing about that.
I'm pretty sure, but you could see that is a tough play.
If you're the Cowboys right now, you could go up by 10, another chance to cook your defense with the running game.
He's going to go to the past the game.
He's gonna wide open, man downfield and in for the touchdown.
It's Miles Boykin.
Number 80 and it is a touchdown as the Ravens take the lead right back and it's Boykin over the middle.
Finds a great place to be in.
And Vanda Rash couldn't get to him.
When all else fails, go to the passing game and Boykin will be there with 808 to go.
The Ravens strike back, and here's Justin Tucker trying to redeem himself.
After that Miss Field goal, the kick is good.
The Ravens lead at 14 to 10, and we have already had 12 I about four lead changes already.
You know it to go in the second quarter.
We'll be back after the break.
You're on SportsCastr.
And we're back with the broadcast on SportsCastr Dallas has given up more points to Baltimore.
Baltimore leads of 14 to 10 here on Tuesday Night Football.
Both teams have given up big time interceptions that led to touchdowns and with eight a way to go in the second quarter, Baltimore has taken a decent 14 to 10 lead.
It's been very back and forth.
And now Justin Tucker to kick it away to the Cowboys here and they will let it bounce into the end zone.
Pullard will not give it another 75 yard return and the Cowboys will start at the 25.
But clearly right away you've got man.
I'm in there, man. I'm in there.
Then you got two little zone, like just I don't know.
You didn't have anybody covering Boykin on this play.
It was like half man, half zone.
And then I was like, towards the end, it was like there was nobody over there like that Just didn't coverage me No sense on that play from the 25.
Now that or somebody just didn't follow the instructions read clearly on the manual here is the run going to pick up three yards? You're on first down.
Zeke, Elliot and boy, Oh, boy, do I hope the Cowboys win this game? I really need them to win.
That way my Patriots could make the playoffs.
I mean, Ravens lose their six and six and we can make we can edge our way into the playoffs with four winds 90 yards for the Cowboys are, UH, 200 for the Ravens, and they have 100 and 30 of those are rushing yards and 70 of those air passing yards.
Cowboys have 49 rushing yards that are passing yards today, so both teams have.
Certainly, there's a big difference between both of these teams today, This past complete.
To see Lam, who I believe is the Onley one is caught in a past hip.
Or Excuse me, Amari Cooper and Michael Gallup, but especially CD Land was made the bulk of the catches today.
Andy Dalton, 2011 to 2010 with the Bengals 402 100.
Rather 204 touchdown passes, 28 games with 300 plus yards and and eighties.
I believe that was going to say 87.
5 passer rating, which are all team highs.
That's what I thought.
I think it was going to stay up there first to 10.
They flip it, and Amari Cooper is going to pick up the first down to the 50 on the pitch back.
Seven minutes to go.
Dalton 62 passing yards today, one touchdown warm reception, Also two touchdowns for Lamar Jackson.
Two touchdowns, form one passing, one rushing and one interception.
10 rushes for the Cowboys today.
They've had most of them going to actually, all of them have been a Zeke Elliot.
Most of them have not gone for very far, but he has had a few big runs today.
This one picks up two yards going to be second down now.
Sure, Andy Dalton's obviously had that concussion.
He also had Covad.
So you know he's really making his way back into the Cowboys roster, playing tonight as the starter, trying to get the Cowboys into the playoffs again this year and this past way out of the field.
I was a huge chief that went absolutely nowhere for dumb.
That's one of those places where it's just like you got to sit there and be like, Yep, yep, third and seven.
Now Cowboys, one of three on third down conversions tonight on third and long.
Right now, this past complete, none other than see, she said. That was Brown.
My gosh, whatever.
I see an eight. I think C d lamb.
It is Brown who picks up the first down a little Nice little up and right route a little square out and picks up a nice first down there first to 10.
Now for this Cowboys offense in RCD Lambs like, Yeah, I'm done with the trouble.
He was like, Yep, I'm ready to go.
And he was like, Oh, wait, You want me here 1st and 10, Don takes the snap and off the polar.
It is gonna lose one yard here.
Dalton over the middle.
Completes it is Michael Gallup to the 23 yard line as he picks up the first down across the middle.
Cowboys often seems to be looking pretty good right now.
You know, it's been pretty balanced.
The passing game obviously hasn't been the main issue.
It's been more of the running game, but passing game, certainly looking good tonight.
I mean, Dalton been looking good and most of all, his main areas.
The focus on today he's got 87 passing yards and certainly been hitting his men downfield.
Michael Gallops name was on the trade block and the Ravens were one of the teams Were you also thought maybe they signed.
Michael Gallup has again Pullard goes nowhere with a loss of one on the run, but they did not make a move.
So the Cowboys, despite the fact that there was a clear, you know, sign that said, You gotta sell and they should have sold did not, and they didn't buy either.
So it was like, You know, they think they can still compete, and if they win tonight, they still can.
But a lost tonight puts them well behind the Washington football team and the New York Giants.
So it's like, What is? There's literally no cause You have to win out.
That's pretty tough for a Cowboys.
Two units just got three wins right now, as this past goes to the back of the end zone and him and Michael Gallup clearly not on the same page.
Here's this ball floats way past him.
3rd and 11 now, Gallop kinda went.
He went up and then came back.
I guess that was the plan.
And as soon as he went started going up, Dalton did not understand the plane and just threw it to the end zone from the 23 on 3rd and 11, a drive that has gone 10 plays for 51 yards.
Will it stop here? The past two Pullard screenplay trying to get the out? He's going to be about three yards short of the first down here.
We'll see what the Cowboys want to dio.
Maybe keep the offense out.
The Cowboys have to remember.
It's not necessarily about just taking the lead, but staying with the Ravens tight is a big deal, and they're gonna bring out zero line to kick the field goal.
I think this is the right call here.
I mean, Greg Zuerlein already made a 31 yard or it's like, you know, you're not here to take the lead right now.
You're here to be in contention with the Ravens.
You want to stay with them and keep pace with them tonight.
That's gonna be huge as they let the clock.
Why, It looks like they took a time out here before the clock right now or no.
So they just let the clock run out on.
So this is not gonna be a 40 yarder.
So apparently the Cowboys did not use a time out here.
That was kind of an odd situation.
It almost seemed like at first they weren't sold on whether they were going to go for it or not.
They didn't get everybody out there right away. I don't think.
And then, you know, they ran out of time.
So here we go forth.
And nine, now 40 Yarder.
Justin Tucker got moved back and Mr Field Goal and Zuerlein.
Mrs Wide. Right.
So Justin Tucker and Greg Zuerlein both moved back five yards due to penalties and both Miss field goals.
So a blown opportunity there and don't they? Don't take the time out.
So that was very confusing.
We really first to 10 now for the Ravens offense.
Two minutes and two seconds to go.
So one more play.
They will get off before the two minute warning and McCarthy can't believe it.
It didn't seem like he had any intention Thio call a time out there, so that was very confusing.
Cowboys could get another chance.
It depends on what the Ravens do right now.
They hands it off, fake it.
Actually, it's a keep to Jackson and he picks up two yards.
So the two minute warning we dio cowboys missed opportunities certainly loom large today with an interception A Miss field goal.
But same thing happened with the Ravens, 14 to 10.
Baltimore leads it.
You're on SportsCastr like we mentioned earlier today, Thursday Night Football, coming up in just two days at 8 20 the Patriots will take on the Rams that Sophie Stadium.
And it's funny that the Patriots get there before the Rams do.
Because it is a Rams home game with The Patriots were already there on Sunday when they face the Chargers in completely demolished them, 45 to nothing.
This past outfield is no, it's incomplete.
But there there was definitely a flag.
I mean, the fact that there were three Cowboys guarding or guarding, there were three Cowboys in coverage, and actually, there were two at the end of the play.
Three were over there.
But the fact that there were two and they both knocked into the receiver and pretty much dragged him to the ground is an evident penalty.
I mean, this fall is nowhere near him.
It was way over his head, but that's definitely a penalty.
So that's a that's a killer for the Cowboys.
Here's the realm of diamonds starts at the 50.
He's gonna blow past the 20 and is going to stop there.
Big run from Dobbins, and he's been cooking today and again right here.
Run this time takes off right away.
No hesitation to the outside passes the 50 40 30 20.
And this guy all season long has seen this way and momentum carries.
A man abounds, finally, but he would have been able to go through the touchdown had he had about five more yards to the right, and you could see their averaging 10 yards rushed 10.
8 while the Cowboys are averaging just 4.
1 again, they go with Dobbins and he's met right away, and he's gonna be taken down for a loss of one at the 21 yard line for the Ravens.
And the Cowboys sit here and wonder why they're down by four right now.
But given up all these rushing yards has certainly killed them today.
They go to the passing game here.
Jackson escapes the pocket, throws a completed to Brown for about five yards near the 17 your line, so four officially in the book, and it'll be third and long for the Ravens.
But you know, this is the thing where the Cowboys, they get a good play.
They get a good play where they're able to tackle Dobbins for a loss of one.
Then they hold them here like this is the thing where a syriza play just three straight plays where you hold you, hold this ravensoffense.
That's what wins them the game tonight, where they can stop the Raymond's for three plays in a row and shut them down and force them to the field.
Golden right here.
You hold him to a field goal, and that's the wind.
This past is gonna be incomplete.
As Brown did not get his feet inbounds, however, there is a penalty on the field with 50 seconds to go here, Ravens, up 14 to 10, and this 37 could be first down, depending on what the penalty is here.
And it's illegal formation on the offense.
But the penalty is declined.
One missed field goal under 40 yards unless 71 attempts.
You know what day that was? Did he missed that field goal it was today because we jinxed him, but he's right back to normal cowboys.
I'm gonna call the win here on this drive.
The Ravens lead it after the field goal from Tucker.
46 seconds remain in the half.
Cowboys will get the ball back when we come back.
You're on, SportsCastr.
And we're back with the broadcast.
Jackson is eat of 10 today passing and 74 passing yards.
Dalton as 12 passing attempts.
Excuse me. Actually 16.
12 of 16 for 93 passing yards and the Ravens will kick it away.
Remember, the Cowboys did not use any time outs in the first half, so they have three remaining on this drive.
And that could be very crucial, as the Ravens do get the ball to start the second half.
Polar, it is tripped up around the 25 yard line is where he is tackled and there is a flag on the field.
So I have to check what this one is holding on the receiving team.
So that spot of foul from wherever it waas is 10 yards from there, so they'll have to start their own 10 yard line now.
After the penalty, 42 seconds to go.
Remember two or three timeouts all intact, and the hands it off to Elliott Elliott is gonna break away and get to the outside.
Near the first down is where he will land.
So that's right there.
That's a nice play right there, just breaking through on Lee.
Takes up six seconds, picks up 10 yards.
So that's the play right there, where it's nice.
You pick up a good amount of yards, you're now to the 20 yard line, and then you get yourself some breathing room to throw the football.
But I certainly, uh, Cowboys.
They're not one of those teams where if it's the final 30 seconds and I need somebody to get me downfield, I don't think I'd be picking the Cowboys.
But certainly that's the kind of situation they're in right now.
This ball is thrown and completed CD lamb and did.
Yeah, he did end up getting out of bounds, but he tried to make a move to stay in bounds and its thing right there where you when you're a young rookie like that, you're not.
You're still not educated with what you got to do in that scenario ends up being second, three How do you just going right out of bounds? It would have been second one, and those are the things right there where you would have saved one or two seconds.
So it's like those are the things you learn as you progress in the league and you start to realize how much of an impact that actually does make towards the end of the game.
Second and three, this ball's thrown over the middle, it's caught, and it's to the 42 yard line.
Gonna be called here by Andy Don't.
With 23 seconds even just a field goal here helps you out.
If you're the Cowboys.
Staying on pace with the Ravens is big, so you're gonna feel goal helps you out.
These time outs are very useful, though.
You still have two more left.
You on, Lee have used one, but you've already used up half your time.
So you've got 23 seconds still remaining 1st and 10 from your own 42.
So I have confidence right here.
You know, you get something down field around the 50.
You're hoping you could get somewhere down to the 35 yard line, then kick a field goal.
So realistically, 10 fit about 24 yards to go until a nice field goal don't throws over the middle.
He connects, and it is a Marquis Cooper and a time out called by the Cowboys as they get to midfield second and one at the 50.
But this is this is a nice, another nice play here by the Cowboys.
They've had good time management, and Andy Dalton already hit eight different receivers today, so you can see the time management has been key today.
The ball management has been key today.
Time management right now on this drive has been very he and at the 50 yard line, they're going to try and get a few more yards relatively here.
You'd probably be looking at a bounds towards the sideline.
Then maybe one more play.
Then you just call the time out kicked field goal.
So that's what I would look at here.
Target line is the 43 yard line, and that's only a few more yards Dalton throws in.
This ball is incomplete.
He was looking for CD lamb, and it was over his head.
CD did slip go to third and one now with 13 seconds to go, and, uh, they definitely need one last play year.
Get in the field.
They still have one more time out remaining from the 50.
Maybe you just run the ball and try and pick up the first down.
You know we have a flag.
I thought we had a time out.
We've got a flag.
Oh, who is this on? False start on the Cowboys.
Gonna move them back five yards on a third and one like that.
I say you run the ball, pick up the first down, then called the time out.
Because you always forget about the down management.
You have to forget about the down.
You can't forget about the downs in that kind of scenario.
And that's just a play right there. Well, that's unforgivable.
Another false start, you know, one of those penalties.
So now they're at their own 45 now they have 12 yards to go to the field goal target line.
Dalton roles left, throws deep downfield, and it is incomplete looking for CD lamb.
And he is in shock that there was no call on that one and its fourth and six coming up for the Cowboys offense.
They are not in field goal range here, so it is a must.
I almost a must score play here.
I think you I think you have to go for the touchdown here.
I won't even think about going for the field goal.
I think you have to go for the touchdown on this next play.
But right here, CD, lamb.
How is there no penalty? He throws him off pace with the ball.
I mean, he's going and the defender throws him off peace with the ball and oh my gosh and got clobbered towards the end of that, How is there no penalty? Their time out? Cowboys? As the play clock was writing down, I am surprised that there was no penalty called CD.
Lamb was completely turned so that it completely changed his angle to the ball so that he can not catch it.
Threw him off this path fourth and six now.
So if I'm the Cowboys here, I think there's two options.
You either go down field for a touchdown or you're going out of bounds for first for near the field goal target line for so you can kick the field goal.
You definitely 100% cannot throw it over the middle and then spike it.
You will not have enough time to get the ball set, so you have two chances.
Either go to the end zone or go out of bounds and pick up near the.
You have to get the first down, obviously, which is to the 49 of Baltimore there at their own 45 right now and a time out.
Baltimore The field goal target lines at the 43 so you have to go 10.
You have to go 12 yards to pick up the field goal.
I think you have to get the feel good target line down and make Zuerlein kick a 67 to You have to pick up a first down in this scenario where it's like or the field goal target line.
You have to you have to get a 12 yard pass and you have to leave at least one second on the clock to get the touchdown here.
I don't think you go to the end zone here on this last play because it just it just doesn't make sense.
When you goto don't feel 12 yards, kick a field goal rather than pushing yourself into a tough you know, 45 yard bomb.
They rush nobody.
And Dalton is gonna heave one here to the end zone.
The throw all the way is gonna be tipped in incomplete.
Lam had a hand on it and could not hang on.
That is halftime.
Let's take another look. Seedy.
Lamb gets up there and almost came down with this ball.
He got a hand on the ball.
Almost had it at the end of our broadcast.
I hope you guys enjoyed this one with not other than the Cowboys and the Ravens.
Go Cowboys go cowboys.
I need the Ravens to lose.
I will see you on the next one.
