It's time out with Henry going live.
This is the first podcast.
The first, um, it's probably gonna be a lump of ****.
You know, its's.
It's my first podcast ever.
So I'm usually used thio open mic.
I'm usually used to, you know, being on stage.
So for this, um, it z gonna be a whole different format for me, and, you know, it's it's gonna be I don't mean to feel like you feel I want to touch you, So I'm gonna put my hands behind my back.
You know, I feel like a ****ing suspect.
So this is gonna be a weekly podcast, and I'm gonna be getting an hour, and I want to thank Max and Luca.
All sports new york com dot com I just said dot com twice.
Um, all new york sports dot com.
Um, that's where you want to go to get all of your New York sports information, and they are going to be in, uh, they're gonna be including buffalo soon.
So bills, fans, you're gonna be in there.
Um, but I do want to thank Max and Luca.
Um, Luca is the one who actually recruited me.
Eso Thank you, Luca Muta Band Neck R O C and e.
I have no idea what I just said, but look at you.
You know, I forgot to pay the light.
The lights came back on.
I thought I forgot to pay the bill.
Um, yeah, but Luca recruited me.
And this is just a great opportunity for me to get out there and really represent all sports.
New York, um, and just be a part of the family.
And I think today what What I'd like to talk about is probably not my lack of hair loss, but I'd like to really talk about the upcoming if there is, in fact, an upcoming New York Ranger season.
I don't really know what's going on with the NHL.
Um uh, there's a lot going on behind the scenes.
I know that the players don't want to go back to playing, and I know the owners want Mawr from the players.
Should have went that way with my hands.
I'll get it right.
But anyway, yeah, the players don't want to give up mawr of their salary.
I'm talking more of the salary E mean, sorry, but the players don't want to give up mawr of their salary, uh, to come back and play for a 42 game season.
And I think what you're witnessing right now is a tug and pull on.
Really? What is going to work for the NHL going forward? I think that, um, in my opinion, But I know the players give 10% of their salaries and, um, 2020% salary temperature s cry the numbers.
I'm drawing a blank here.
I'm just excited to be here, but the C B A That was agreed upon with it.
There go the lights again.
Um, all right, so obviously it's a clapper, I guess.
I don't know, but Rangers, but yeah.
So it was a five year, I think, agreement Five or six year agreement with the C B A with the flat tax with and and and with the NHL, Um I guess the salary cap.
The players have given up so much.
And now the owners and the governors on the board want more from the players.
And the players were like, What are we doing here? you know, I have no idea.
You know what I mean? You want me to like going to bubble like they did during the playoffs? Um, you know, they want a bubble.
My nose is running.
I'm made of strictly water.
So I do leak once in a while.
Not the yo yo. Sorry.
But yeah, the owners, they want mawr from the players.
In other words, they want more than the 10% salary cat you are the 10% they took from their salary, and they wanted 20% put in escrow.
So that's 30% of a player salary For how many games? That's what everybody's waiting on.
That's really that didn't work that did whatever I did.
So now the owners want 50% of the players salary, and I just I I don't see an NHL season happening.
And if we can focus on the Rangers right now, um, I think I really Hey, what's up? Whose story? CJ.
So yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, what's up? C.
What's up for the Rangers, in my opinion, I mean, I've been a Ranger fan since I don't know.
I know I've been a Ranger fan since 1988.
And you know, I've seen the teams the Rangers built.
I've seen the messy.
Is the Gretzky in the tech line? Yeah.
Nevin Elovich DeVore act.
They scored 33% of our goals.
I've seen I have lived and died.
I died still alive.
But I'm just saying, as a fan, I've seen the Ranger.
It's just dump it like dump it.
And I think right now where the Rangers are, I think they're not playoff.
They're not a playoff team.
They are better.
They did move Mark Stall.
I don't know if it was a Sam Llegan.
I don't know if it was a I don't know what May Detroit take the contractor Mark Stall.
I don't know of any other NHL team that would take that contract.
You know what I mean? Yeah, let me take a $5 million defenseman.
That really is beyond this prime.
You know what? We'll dio Yeah, we'll talk.
We'll do the multibillion cardio sick it.
You know what I mean? I'm in the mob movies, but you know, with with stall off the contract.
And obviously, um, they bought out long twist, and nobody wanted to see him go.
But it was It was a must because you saw Jesse screen share skin.
Sure, Sure, sure, Sure.
Uh um, Whatever.
But you saw Igor come in.
Um, you know, Igor shuffleboard.
I don't have what is sure she skin No.
Sure. Shishkin obviously.
And he was tending to, and he did take us to the qualifying rounds.
Now you have your Gergiev, which I think is gonna be a problem.
Um, come with the expansion draft with Seattle because, you know, obviously a team can on Lee protect one goaltender.
So now it comes down to a season between your give and sure she skin.
So whoever plays the best is obviously not going to be drafted by Seattle, because Seattle is gonna be looking for obviously long term goaltending.
You know what I mean? Vegas.
They locked out because obviously Marc Andre Fleury was was available, and I think Seattle is in the right position to take your GF from.
I hate to say it from New York.
Um but I think if there's a player that's going to be taken from New York.
It's gonna be York yet.
But we do have other candidates that Seattle would say that, um, one of them is Keith Kincaid.
Keith Kincaid is He's shown he's been at best.
Now I'm in ghost hunting mode.
I'm a ghost hunter, by the way.
For anybody who right.
So anyway, so anyway, um uh, I'm a ghost hunter.
So when the lights go out, I'm just like my time, all right? Not my time to dance, but like what I was saying is, with Kinkaid, Kinkaid did come up with the Devils, and he did show promise of he's at least in NHL back up.
But he's not starter.
That's what's going to keep him in the Rangers organization.
My biggest fear is that your yev is going to be taken, and I just don't, uh I'm not having a good feeling with this expansion draft because I think that All right, we're in ghost mode.
All right, So now I'm in sports mode.
I do think that your give is going to be taken in this draft and maybe Husker or Wall is gonna have to come up through the ranks or they're probably going toe. Have to trade.
Ah, I Okay, So here, players, I think that are going to be traded by the Rangers.
New York Rangers not forced.
I don't I don't know if you know about Forest, but that is not gone.
A tribe between forest writing Joe's anyway.
So the New York Rangers e think, um, I think what the Just Thank you.
Anyway, um, no, it's actually Ah, Motion light.
Um, it's emotion light.
It reacts to when I move or not move.
I talked about new Rangers, Lieutenant day, and sorry.
I did it so fast.
Anyway, Um, okay.
What was I talking about? Oh, yeah.
So, anyway, I do think that your give is going to be, um, susceptible to the expansion draft.
I think, Um, for sure he's I see dead people just playing, playing around, um, just trying to play around with the environment, you know, improv.
And I'm an improv comic.
Um, for those who don't know me, I'm an improv comic.
I've been an improv comic for Parkinson's back in 1999 when Prince wanted a party so I mean, with that crew, not really.
Back to my point.
Um, I think your give is going to be on Seattle's radar because they know that we can only protect one goaltender.
And, um so we'll have to see going on.
I know that this is a career year for her.
This is a make or break year for a few rangers, and I'm going thio.
I'm going to tell you that.
Ah, Butch Novich.
Um, this is gonna be a year for him.
And the reason why I'm focusing on Butch Novich is because he currently plays on the right side of Zibanejad and obviously cried or plays on the left.
LaFraniere is a left winger, although he can play center, so we're gonna have to see how David Quinn plays it out.
You know what I mean? Coach Quin um I do think that the starting lines, according to Coach Quin, will be, um it's it's gonna be, uh it's gonna be a vintage odd Crider boots Novich.
That's the first line.
And it's gonna be strong, Panera.
Now that fat now the fost sorry Fost Yes.
Now that yes, per Fost is now a Carolina hurricane, which is ****ing weird, because sorry.
I said ****ing But I said ****ing sorry.
Which is ****ing weird because Brady Shea, I think in my in my opinion, in game one, Brady shade just went out and just targeted ****ing um, yes, for fast.
Just level them.
Um, it was It was It was a cheap hit.
I think it was awful, but, you know, not called.
And obviously I think that.
And I think Brady Shea that hit that hit on yes, for fast.
I'm telling you right now that changed the entire identity of that Siri's.
You know what I mean? Because you're talking about the Rangers who were hot, you know, before the whole Okay.
Before the co vid, which I don't have, I think I don't have, but I think, honestly, Brady Shea that hit on Fost That was personal.
And now they're playing together.
It's a weird dynamic.
Hey, what's up, Isaac? It's up.
What's going on? Isaac, what's up? Your anyway? Um So that was a weird trade for me. I wish.
The best of luck.
I didn't want to lose him.
Um, and here's my other thought.
I also think that the extension on Kreider was a knee jerk contract signed.
I don't think that Crider should have been signed for six years.
There's no he's not going to give you full value for the extension of the contract.
He's just not going to get.
He's not, You know Chris Kreider is.
Chris Kreider is an amazing player.
Okay, He's big, He's strong. He's fast.
Nobody can argue that.
But much like Bush Novich Beauty Novich book, Novich book, a book, a book, a book, a book abuse novich book, a book, a book up anyway, there spotty players there in your lineup, they're involved or not involved.
When they're not involved.
You don't do good when they are involved.
There's the sketchy players, so I think that, um, for me, this is a career year for Bush Novich because he's on the last of his contract and obviously he's going to be a free agent whenever the season starts.
I think in 2000, what ****ing 42? That's what Gary Bettman said.
We're gonna have an NHL season sometime when Moon and Jupiter and Saturn and they all like So I have no idea.
I know the NHL isn't a lot of trouble and, um, yeah, I just, uh I just don't see it going out well for the NHL this year, and it's a shame because players like, you know, LaFraniere they obviously quitting by field.
And, you know, Tim's shooting who went to L. A or whatever.
It's a shame, because they're probably not gonna be able t o A.
They didn't experience the, um the grand your and the welcome into the NHL.
Like, you know, Sidney Crosby did.
Or Boston Matthews or any of the first round.
Any of the draft picks, the high draft picks, they didn't get the pomp and cir***stance.
And not only did they get removed from that, but they're not even probably going to get to experience their first NHL season.
And LaFraniere A is not going to team Canada to represent them.
And neither is CAC oh going for Finland.
So you know, sucks sucks all around.
Um, I don't know what you Ranger fans think about Coach Quin in his first two seasons.
I think uh, I I really think he's unfair.
Um, in the way that a V was, um, to some players, I do think Quinn has his favorites.
I know that. Brett Howden.
Um I'm not a fan of Howden.
I'm now I'm in ghosts mode.
I'm not a fan of Brett Howden.
Um, but I think this is a year for him to prove himself because he's primarily been on the fourth line and he was a first round pick, former first round pick for Tampa Bay.
And I just think that this is just his his year to prove him.
And there's a lot of young players on the Rangers roster right now that are going to fight for jobs for the next season.
Maybe who knows? There's even ever going to be hockey again.
I'll just play NHL 21 you know, and hope for the best.
But I think that with Howden, I think were hell, uh, much novich.
I think those players definitely have a lot to prove because there's they're consistent.
Yeah, if if maybe some of the people listening or are too young or whatever.
But Sergei Nemchinov, right, number 13, right dangerous 90 for anyway.
He waas ghost mode again.
You must know the ghost Hunter because all right, so I'm at a ghost mode.
Um, I kind of like ghost mode.
You know what I mean? Um, but Sergei Nemchinov was a silent contributor.
You know what I mean? Like, he was never in the papers.
Like even he never made headlines.
Really? But he was central to what made that Rangers team.
He was a solid player.
And I think what's going on here is that he tal who? Everybody knew Waas.
Why him? Why did you pick him? Why? And you know, the Ranger management was like, Well, he's gonna be good. He's gonna be great, man.
He's been He's been below average, just like Putin Devic below average.
How below average LIBOR hack below average.
You know, um, it's gonna be interesting to see where the Rangers go this season because you have key Andre Miller coming up.
You have to arm a room in coming up, and it's it's it's a you know, Ranger fans, you're annoyed a little bit a little bit a little bit like Robert near a little bit.
Yeah, insulted them a little bit.
You're a little bit, but you have to understand we're going to be dumping in two years.
We're gonna be dominant because, uh, ****ing Fox and sorry.
I didn't mean to say ****ing but ****ing Fox and Lindgren ****ing I'm gonna go Boston here, Alright? So ****ing Fox and Lindgren are gonna go ****ing brutal on your kids.
They're gonna go wicked hard, and they're gonna be ****ing awesome and about ****ing two years.
You're not going Even They're gonna be the ****ing first ****ing pair, you know? I mean, you know, you know, ****ing trooper.
All right, so I'm done with Boston Accent it.
So, anyway, um, yeah, I think for next year, Um, I think we're pretty stacked.
Um, offensively, I really do think we're stacked because obviously, we're going to start off.
Um, it's gonna be, uh, obviously Mika Crider bush novich than the second line is gonna be Strom Panera CAC Oh, they're gonna promote him up.
Third line is gonna be, uh, he tal LaFraniere a and I believe it's going.
I think Gauthier is gonna be on the right side, and I think on the fourth line e think on the fourth line is going to be, um okay, Sorry.
So ghetto so ghetto.
May I please have light club The hands send lightning forth to the bones, make it so they can see us Anyway, I think the fourth line is gonna b e think the fourth line is gonna be Howden Lamu and whoever makes the the left the left side e think defense is gonna be I think it's gonna be Trueba and they're going to find a way to put DeAngelo with Trouba, obviously, Fox and Linda Grin.
They're going to be the second pair of lines.
The third line is gonna be the That's going to be That's gonna be the hard one.
It's gonna be our anyway.
But I think it's going to be, um, Johnson and Potato, um, Anthony Potato, who they picked up, um, free agency.
But I do think Colin Blackwell is going to make the team.
I think that it's gonna be Yeah, it he's gonna probably be the player that's gonna circulate within the within a roster.
I really dio um but, uh, so I see a lot of people joining, um excited to have you go need chua A table for one table for two.
How? Maney table.
You need tow watch, Stupid ass.
Make us stupid picture face maker Assa himself.
How much you wanna watch? That's how many table you need.
Anyway, Um, so I just want to recap for for anybody who's just joining.
I just want to say thank you to Max in Lucca for making this possible.
Um, I am glad to be a part of this team.
I'm grateful to be a part of all New York sports.
I'm a ranger fan.
Um, sorry. It says devils.
Sorry. Says sorry. Says anger.
Oh, that's comedy right there.
Dude, that's comedy right there.
E I used to be a stand up comic, and now I can't figure out how Thio arrange it.
And all right, all right.
Uh, anger or whatever, but yeah, it's funny.
Um, that's comedy right there.
But for those who don't know me, um, that was the voice of the devil knows the heat.
That was the heat coming out For those who don't know me, I'm a New York Ranger fan.
I have been since 1988.
Um, I'm a ghost hunter.
I've ghost hunted.
Lizzie Borden, Shanley Hotel.
Um, Newburgh Cemetery.
Um, a lot of places you can find me on landmark paranormal on Facebook.
Um, I'm currently planning on turning these lights on.
I'm a ghost hunter.
Um, Len Mark Paranormal on Facebook.
You can find me, um, been a stand up comic.
I'm a published author.
Let's rewind that.
Whatever you can, Um, an author.
Uhm Mark Lennon.
My books are 28 T shirts and Victor Sin.
Those were my books.
And I'm just having a great time hanging out with, you know, uh, all New York sports.
And, you know, they gave me this great opportunity to represent their channel.
And, you know, today was just going to be an epic disaster.
Okay, Anyway, I don't know what that waas but going to be an epic disaster because I had no idea what the structure was gonna be, what they wanted or what Max needed or be when he said Just go all Henry, I figured, Alright.
Oh, I'll go at it.
You know, I'll be Henry also represent the Rangers and all New York sports.
And I'm having a blessed and thank you for watching.
You know what I mean? Um, spent a long time since I've, um, been live.
Um, Didn't know if I still had it.
Didn't know if I was still funny.
I'm probably still not, but, um okay, So, Isaac, you want me to do some voices? I'll do other.
Yeah, Chicago P d.
What do you want or do whatever you want? Eso mhm.
This is my precious.
So people want me to do voices.
Um, e c you're watching You want to go to the habits? Is so, uh I don't know what the finger things is, but, um oh, Harley, let's go to Gotham.
What do you want? That's that.
That's part of my ****.
Um, I don't know who else you want me to dio.
They want me dio It did Joker.
I didn't Chicago Pity.
Didn't I do so many voices? Um uh he said SportsCastr.
Hey, Isaac, Relax.
It's like 3 49 albeit zoom at 6 p.m.
please wear something inappropriate.
I got you, Isaac.
I'll be there at six.
Um, with, uh, anyway, getting back to the podcast.
I'm supposed to be talking about the Rangers.
It's the Horn of Gondor.
Anyway, um, I think last season waas a big step for Quinn and for everybody, I think Quinn really in the first season, he didn't have a whole lot of team toe work with.
I really I mean, the whole think about it.
And you have to think about it psychologically.
And you have to think about it emotionally.
I mean, look at what Lundquist went through when they traded Zuccarello.
You know what I mean? Any time the management says we're ****ing getting ready, you know what I mean? You're all sitting around the locker room like, Okay, They're getting rid of the core.
They're getting rid of the core.
They're getting rid of all of us that went to the ****ing Stanley Cup finals.
You're all wondering wind your time.
How focused are you on playing for the team that's gonna possibly trade you? You can't possibly be dialed in.
And I know they talk about professionalism and, you know, uh oh, you're playing for the ****ing Jersey or whatever.
Do you understand? There's a really emotional person in that jersey, right? You get that.
So when you have a team of players who took you to the 2014 Stanley Cup Finals and failed, and yet they're carrying that failure as a part of their careers into that season with David Quint for right, he replaced a V, obviously, but new coach, new system, new everything.
You know what didn't change their feelings about the past season, about who they're going to possibly lose about when they might get traded? Nobody looks at it from the player's perspective, You know what I mean? You all want them to go out or, you know, fans.
We all want them to go out and be the best they could be.
Obviously, that's why you pay the price.
That's why you pay the for the seats.
That's why you pay for the pretzels.
Love soft pretzels, by the way.
Well, soft pretzels with the cheese? No, anyway.
But when you take a player out of their comfort zone, you have to understand they're no longer a player.
There are human being right, so they're no longer if if I know, I'm I'm in contract with the team for five years, locked in tight.
I know I have to focus on playing for that team, but if you send out a memo saying that, you know, everybody's up and and nobody is safe, Who the **** are you playing for? You know, I mean, you're basically you're your eye candy for another team to come and cherry pick you.
Am I wrong? Just saying so.
David Quinn came in his first year as an NHL coach with a broken locker room, in my opinion, and David Quinn, who? I think I think he did a good job.
You know, his first year wasn't obviously groundbreaking because of everything collapsing around him.
It's not as if like when he was with Boston College.
I'm just going to do this every time, all right? When Quinn was with Boston ****ing Boston, we could hide when he was fighting by when he was fighting coach in Boston.
It's It's a different when you are, uh, a college coach, because even your team on a whim, you know, I mean or just because your general manager doesn't like this guy.
You're right. You're **** you. You're out.
He's with the same collective group of players.
If you can follow me, I don't know you Dio so I don't know why I just said that.
I feel like an *******.
So can you forgive me? Can we move on? All right, Kiss.
He has the same roster.
He knows he has the same roster for at least 23 years, right? With the NHL to business.
So your shipping players out, you're bringing players in your shipping players out, and now I feel like doing martial arts.
But so, Quinn, his first season, he had to deal with a locker room that was broken.
And that's what a lot of people I I don't think a lot of people really understand that Quinn walked into a broken locker room and he had to really right the ship.
And I think he brought Look how he turned around Tony DeAngelo.
Okay, Tony d t d.
Or when he, uh when I Facebook him and he doesn't respond back? No, I'm just kidding.
But Tony DeAngelo um he was a player with a reputation, right? Look what he did last year.
People say it was.
Did he really mature into his role as a number one defenseman? Or did Quinn push him in that direction? I think I think it's Quinn.
You know what I mean? And people were really down on Quinn about the amount of ice time that he gave Caco.
You know, Kokko being the number two overall pick.
Of course. You expect him tohave.
What, Like Patrick Line a right Patrick line.
Austen Matthews was amazing.
He's great hockey player.
But you know Patrick line a right.
Uh, you can't expect Kokko who didn't know English A had to move away from his family, be to really acclimating himself because we all know the NHL Isis.
Smaller than internationalized.
We know that it za compressed area, so you're not gonna have the ability to move the puck.
You're not gonna have the open ice to make plays and stuff like that.
And so that's why European players obviously have difficulty adapting to right our our ice standards.
Right? But I think Quinn did a good job.
I think I really do.
I think he did a good job.
And I think he's on track to have uneven better 2024 season.
Or whenever we get over this Kobe it stuff.
Um but, ah, well, I've been ranting for 40 minutes.
Went by kind of quick.
Anyway, um, just having fun.
So, listen, I will rant, and I will go on on any topic, but this is important.
And I need you to get your okay.
Got these going.
Now I need you to get the landmark paranormal 76 at gmail dot com.

Sorry, that was run about bad joke just anyway.
Yeah, but Len Mark paranormal.

You know, I don't want 70 emails saying I think your eyebrows are ****ing fuzzy, right? So just do it the right way.
If you want me to go on about something, I'm always going to talk about the New York Rangers.
But obviously I can't because there's no ****ing hockey season.
So what's there to talk about? But I do want to do this podcast, and if you found it, remotely funny or remotely entertaining, then let me know, and I'll continue doing it.
But just send me an email, shoot me some ****, let me know what you think.
And, you know, let me know what you want me to talk about.
And, uh, you know, if you email me, it gives me a week, Thio, You know, look at what you're asking me to talk about.
And then, you know, this way I have some intelligent rebuttals instead of like, oh, nuclear science forming those sounds bad.
You know what I mean? I don't want I don't wanna have that rebuttal, you know? I mean, nuclear farming, nuclear science, farming.
To me, it sounds like it's something that can regenerate energy and can probably be used in remote areas where we can use wind cycled energy.
Sorry, I said energy so much.
Anyway, um, that's it for me.
Um, out Got to go.
My battery is running low.
I did not mean for that to rhyme, but it did.
So anyway, this is me, man.
Um, this is what I dio.
Uh, this is Henry.
Check out, please.
All new york sports dot com for everybody.
Nick, Isaac, Whoever I haven't met yet.
But everybody just check them out, man.
They're all great people.
They're great dudes.
They're ****ing funny.
This is just the best family to be a part of.
And I'm so grateful to be a part of it and that they allow me to be a part of it.
So All right, Until next time, this is Henry.
The or not such an old person.
Oh, did you hang up the phone? Is it still on dial? Jesus Christ.
You do it all the time, and then you fought and they all hear it.
