morning sports fans and welcome to another episode of all things to watch.
That's me, baby.
Uh, couple things before I get into today's, actually, uh, Zika Elliot and Jared Goff both will contract extensions.
Elliot held out.
He had two years left on his deal.
He Yeah, frickin pain.
Um, his extension is 90 million over six years.
50 million guarantee s O over the next eight years.
Getting $103 million.
Insane amount of money for a running back.
Oh, he's the fifth player to leave the lead and lead the league in rushing to of his 1st 3 seasons.
And he's a second cowboy with 1000 yards rushing and 500 yards receiving.
Herschel Walker was the only other cowboy to do that.
Jared Gulf still is, um, even more insane.
It's a $134 million contract attention over four years.
So the next six years he's getting paid.
100 and $61 million 110 of the extension is guaranteed NFL record right there for guaranteed money on the contract.
Crazy, crazy, crazy, crazy.
So with that being said, today's action, we got, uh, there's a little bit of stock go amounts of, ah, lesser known countries trying to qualify for the World Cup.
Uh, handful of Mexican league, uh, soccer and just a couple of us sail games going on.
Um, not much in soccer.
Um, we got a major league baseball U S.
Open, and we have one game in the WNBA.
Major League Baseball.
We are going to start with the Mets and the Nationals.
And holy heck, did you watch the game last night? What a comeback for the nationals.
There they were, down 10 4 going into the bottom of the night and they were 11 10 off a walk off home run.
I was at the sports book watching the games last night and that one, like, really stuck out for me.
Huge game right there, I think.
Washington case that moment over to today's game starting at 10 o'clock.
And I think they take the win here.
It gets the Mets Zach winners on the mound for the Mets, and Anibal Sanchez was on the mountain for the Nationals.
Um, both pitchers are going okay, Nina.
One is, you know, this having a break out year contract year like that.
They're not doing phenomenal, but they're not doing bad.
I just think with last night's game, the Nationals insanely momentum carrying over, UM, moving on to the later games.
3 30 Other Rangers versus the Yankees in New York, Phillies against the Reds in Cincinnati.
I think that this ship up to be another good game, Um, the Phillies and Cincinnati and not, um, they're not disappointed over the last couple of days, said the nanny Lost six to yesterday, but I don't think they could make a game out of the one today.
Um, with Aaron Nola on the mound for the Phillies and Trevor Bauer on the mouth of the Reds.
Trevor Bauer coming over in that trade deadline deal from the Indians, UM, Marlins versus the Pirates.
White socks who upset the Indians last night.
They go at it against the afore plot.
Another key game is Minnesota at Boston.
Barrios is on the mound against water.
Rodriguez for Boston.
I really like the twins in this game.
Eso If you're a betting man, go ahead, take him.
Take the Minnesota Twins here.
Um, would ached.
Boston's minus 1 40 So you're getting getting plus money on the Twins today, I would least look at first fight if you're a betting man.
Um, those two matchups there.
I don't think Rodriguez is as good as he used to be.
Especially with Maria's on the mound for the Twins.
Think the Twins trying to hold on to that innocent or the L Central.
I see the Twins winning today.
Giants at the Cardinals.
They did not disappoint yesterday at all.
Do you love six? Five games? You're mistaken.
Um, I know it was a one.
Game 65 game was, uh, Royals and Detroit.
Oh, the Twins and Red Sox was in 65 So Red Sox and Twins have been valid back before.
The Cardinals and Giants have been doing the same.
We got Madison Bumgarner on the mouth for the Giants today versus Michael Walker.
Walker Walker, Huh? James causing Fozzie Bear.
Um, but they are in St Louis, and seeing those is a slight favorite at minus 1 30 Bumgarner's been playing a lot better since the trade deadline when he wasn't moved, so I kind of have to give the edge to the Giants here.
As much as I don't want to as a doctor.
Um, but I do see the Giants taking the wind.
Hey, what's going on? Buddies over Run, boys Northeast.
Thanks for joining Broadcast.
Really do appreciate your support and jumping in and watching this man.
I just got done talking about the twins and Red Sox game.
I think that I think burritos is going to be able to handle Rodriguez on the Red Sox.
But what do you thought on the Red Sox and twins? Oh, all right.
Uh, Detroit and Casey is going live at 5 15 6 40 Is the Yeah.
Very tough call.
Especially after last night's Game 65 win for the Twins.
But I think it's gonna be a really good game, and it's gonna be fun to watch.
Uh, San Diego at Arizona, Chris Paddock on the mound for the Padres.
Something special so far for the Padres.
Uh, Galen is on the mound for Arizona.
I'm gonna give a slight lead to Arizona in this game.
Maybe they just, especially after taking three or four from the Dodgers over the weekend stick.
Arizona Diamondbacks are trying to make a move for that wild card spot, and I think they may get it.
I gotta take a look at the rest of their schedule for the year, but I think they have a chance to taking that wild card.
That second wild card spot in the National League.
Um, Angels at the A's.
Patrick, uh, Sandoval versus Tanner work for the A's.
You gotta give it not to the A's.
Um, the Angels have just been disappointing Tow watch this year.
Uh, my trial's been the 11 bright spot Shohei Otani has not performed to my opinion, upto what he should be for what he's getting paid.
Colorado at the Dodgers is the last game on the slate for Major League Baseball, and you have said patella or Colorado going up gets Yeah.
Uh, that's exactly right from Red Sox.
The pitcher needs to be deep.
Dodgers pitchers routinely go into, if not complete, the sixth inning, and I think that's the deepest there. Started.
Any starters go in Major League baseball this year, so if the Red Sox pitchers can't somehow figure we're getting at least into the sixth inning, the Red Sox aren't gonna make the ale wild card or the playoffs and all.
Now just my opinion.
I agree with the pitching needs to get better, go deeper.
Um, reading on the mound for the doctors against the Rockies.
I think I just pulled that one out easily, moving on to the WN ba yet the wings at the Connecticut son.
Right now Connecticut is the number two seed, a game and 1/2 behind Washington and two and 1/2 games up on L.
A and Las Vegas.
There, so not a lot of motivation to toe win here is Ah, I think, like two or three games left for all these teams.
But if Connecticut has a chance to mathematically and to take the number one spot, I said I didn't go out there and they've all their butts off and try to do so.
Another set of quarterfinals in the U.
Open. Matteo Tarantini versus Gale month.
Not feels, uh, started.
Yeah, there we go.
Seven, almost eight innings sometimes.
And yet, now, you know, you hardly ever see that.
Now you get pitches going five innings and then you get a lead referred inning or to another relief for another inning or to get a Senate man eight and then the closer in the night, it's it takes away from the bench, so it doesn't give us many options later in the game.
It really is, Ah, disappointment for your, uh, old school baseball enthusiasts like myself.
But it is the way the game is going, and you just adapting, overcoming and trying to do your best.
Um, after a very teeny and my uncles, you have Diego Schwartzman going up against the door.
I think there's no question you're an adult.
Moves on to the semi's.
I think it's a coin flip for marvelous and guarantee keynote from yesterday, uh, was greed or Dimitri all took out Roger Federer the first time he's beaten Roger Federer in eight tries.
And Dakota, Thanks for the text there, man.
I really do appreciate it.
Um, thanks for jumping in and watching us.
Really knew official support from, uh, the sportscaster community.
Ana, we just love doing what we do as well as you guys do.
Thanks for that, man. Really do appreciate that.
Um, so on the women's side of the U.
S. Open, we're Belinda.
Uh uh, Bench it.
Red Sox have been up early in the year.
They were plagued with injuries.
I think they've come a long way since then, and you know, if they can figure out the pitching, I think they got a shot of making it.
But I think that that's the keys they're pitching.
Whether they're nothing to figure it out and get some, uh, at least four quality starters.
That'll take you into the playoffs, maybe play around with that good slot rest of the year.
But now, But now mid season left.
And I think they're only, uh, like, what, 56 games out of the wild card slot? Um, look, yeah, they're five and 1/2 game out.
Ah, second wild card spot.
It isn't a type of that spot and Tampa Bay one game on those two teams, so they have a chance of making the wild card, just not a very good one.
The last game last match up in the U.
Open is Bianca and risk Oh, versus police merchants.
Not a huge flow, not a huge fan of women's tennis, but also don't follow that deep, so I can't speak to, uh, this quarter finals here for either either these ladies, but I do expect the dog make it into the seventies, and that's gonna be it for today's action.
Ezekiel Elliott, with a huge contract extension.
Six years, $90 million.
50 million Guarantee and Jared Golf.
Four year extension.
110 million guaranteed.
These contracts are getting astronomical, and they're only gonna keep getting bigger, especially for the quarterbacks.
Um, that Prescott and the Cowboys are in negotiations for his extension.
Expect that to be somewhere in the 130.
550 million? Uh, with probably 115.
220 million Guarantee.
Just my opinion here.
Yeah, that was huge.
Roger Federer losing again.
That is the first time Demetria has been able to beat him in a tries.
So it did go five sets, and it was a heck of a battle of watching that movie last night.
And, man, um, I'm not saying Roger Federer has lost a step.
I just think he, uh he faced with an opponent one too many times that figured out how to beat him.
And I think over the next few years, these two are gonna face off a few more times, and then they're gonna go back and forth now.
Before this, he was just completely dominant over.
Um, yeah, that that's ah, how you say them's the breaks.
Um, some, you win some, you lose.
And just before, um, but anybody have anything else they want to talk about, Pretty much done with today's run down action and get ready.
But I want to do think run, boys, North East and Dakota for jumping in.
No, it is absolutely great match.
Uh, if you have a fan attendance, you're not gonna like it.
But I haven't be a fan of every single sport.
Both those guys gave it their all last night, and it was a hell of a match.
Uh, yeah. Thanks for joining, guys.
Have a great day, catchall.
Tomorrow, Um, pending on what? Actually going on when I get home tonight, I may go live tonight.
Well, thanks for jumping on today and really do appreciate everybody to support this
