You have enough this.
Hello, everyone, and welcome into another broadcast.
Today we have the Steelers and Washington football team.
If I could spell it right over here as this kick is going to go back to the to and the return here from Washington gonna get out near the 18 yard line here on SportsCastrs.
Johnson with the return.
The Q B comparison so far.
Ben Roethlisberger, 19 of 27 198 passing yards 122.
Alex Smith, who's 15 of 22 2 touchdowns for Roethlisberger, None for Alex Smith thus far.
And that is where the Washington football team will take over at the 18 yard line.
The first half positions first three were a punt, then a loss of downs, two punts and a field goal coat.
So clearly this offensive scheme needs to be fixed today if they wanna win, their defense has been amazing.
So far, they have played very, very well, especially that goal line stances.
This past is incomplete here, looking for a few yards and it's gonna be a flag down on the field as well, and this is illegal used to the hands here on Moses, who was covering TJ Watt here.
Well, blocking TJ Watt rather.
So after this is gonna go, takes them back to the nine year old line.
Now Washington has one field goal.
Like we said, that's the only point of the game.
And that came on a wild wild into the first half in which they were sacked twice.
That kind of knocked about a field goal range seemed it was going to be a 49 yarder.
So not really out of field goal range, but a tougher field goal than what it would have been before.
And then some wild sequence after that, as there's a flag here where, you know.
So the ball Alex Smith took it off the field.
They had no time outs. Clock was running.
He took the ball off the field with him rather than giving it to the officials, so they had to bring in a new ball.
Time was running down.
Washington ran out of time, but they they put more time on the clock and ended up doing a radio and the kick was good.
So it had Alex Smith not took them off the field.
The Washington football team probably when I had enough time because they were running out of time anyways.
But the fact that they put more time on the ball was very important.
The injury update.
One of those guys on there is Antonio Gibson, who has been having a good year this year, and he's got a toe injury as this past here is caught by Simms.
Catches it low here.
It's a really low pass, and he's able to actually grab it in between his legs.
Yeah, he catches this ball with his legs. That's incredible.
Now all of that.
Just for what? Almost nothing Alex Smith looks around throws this ball is caught and a hop skip and a jump to grandmother's house.
They pick up four yards as he jumped over his man there.
My gosh, what a hurdle that Waas.
It was right with the hurdle.
The tight end and gives him a few more yards.
It's a nice pass over the middle here and just jumps over its man Hilton, who tries to get a low hit on him.
But his eventually just ran over jumped over with a hurdle there.
Packing me Austin for doing the broadcast was about to say pack land over their 3rd and 14 4.
Washington 13 30 to go.
Now less than four seconds on the play clock.
Alex Smith throws and this ball is caught.
They're gonna try and pick up some more yards.
They dio 20 five.
That's the 30 way past.
The first down and all the way down to the 46 yard line goes Washington as they pick up the first down.
And it Sims, the tight end who picks up a big time catch.
Here is a nice screen past.
They've got two blockers, actually, not a great blocking job here is the guy almost gets to him right away, but he breaks out.
They've got the whole offensive line blocking and they're able to get down all the way to the 46 yard line.
And I was about to say, Why did you throw a screen pass on a third down? That is a very bold thing to Dio to do on a third down, and that's what they did right there.
So now, down to the 45 yard line.
They hand it off, and this run is going to get close to the first down with McKinsey, and that is the second time he's ran the ball. Today.
162 yards now in the game, Washington has held down as much as they can on defense this far.
So you think Washington's offense is really gonna have to play.
A good second half of the Steelers might just break open on offense as this run is going to pick up a first down again.
They run the ball and they get close to the firm's down with Barber.
But just to know Gibson.
So they have to kind of improvised here, work on everything they got, figure things out, paint Barbour now his fourth rush of the game for 98 yards so far.
So they've tried to pass the ball a good amount tonight and the hands it off here.
This run is going to get four yards down to the 38 year old line in Washington's often seems to be rolling downfield.
They had this pretty good.
They had it going pretty good towards the end of the first half.
Rather, they hadn't going pretty good.
Like I said, they had to settle for a field goal.
But they actually didn't settle, really.
They had to kind of just get together, a stressed as they could.
But you know, those two sacks of the end of the drive really shut them down.
But they were playing some good offense, you know.
They had two great place where it seemed like things were clicking.
They got the blocking in place.
So I think, really, when you're thinking about Washington So far, the offense has been good on that driving.
This drive's been okay.
This pass over the middle, though, is incomplete.
We haven't injured stealer down the field that past must have gotten hit by somebody because it came out very funky towards the end of the play, and we injured stealer.
Down in the play is Spolar spleen, and he was the guy who got a piece of the ball here.
He was holding onto his knee at the end of this play and, yeah, he hits the ball, goes down and somebody kind of jerks his knee to the right here, and he's walking off the field on his own power here.
So seems as though he is okay.
It seems like they're going to take him to the tent now 3rd and 64 Washington right now, trying to get down and score what would be their first touchdown of the night.
They have been very, very shut down by the Steelers defense, who, by the way, coming into this game has allowed the least passing yards in the entire NFL.
But you know who's second? Yep, it's Washington.
So the tale of two great defense is you've got some great players here tonight playing in this one as this past is gonna be complete for a first down.
And it is Sims Jr.
As they pick up another first down on this drive in Washington, really starting to move here.
They've got Splain on the cart now, so it seems like he's gonna goto locker room.
They've got eight plays on this drive, 53 yards in 4.
5 minutes and counting on this one.
So good start to the second half for Washington.
They try and get an offensive boost, and they're still, you know, in contention for their division the Giants beat the Eagles without Daniel Jones.
So it seems like it will be a tough, tough road for Washington to get into the playoffs as a tackle is made here.
And it's a loss of two on the past.
Hilton with the tackle and losing two yards is Washington here? It's Sims Jr.
They've got the screen pass all set up, but again goes right through the blocks right through.
They see it and they go right through the blocks and they're able to get him now.
As soon as the emotions back, they know it's a screen pass that gets right by the guy that's trying to block him, which I believe was Thomas.
I'm not sure, though.
I didn't get another look there.
But it's a nice play there by the defense Hilton, who read it as this past outfield is complete.
That's Thomas all the way down to the one yard line.
Washington what a big play that was.
Alex Smith all the way down field has now over 200 yards today and Thomas, as he breaks away from his man, is able to pick up a huge gain all the way down to the one they hands it off in this run is gonna go nowhere Buried by the Steelers defense.
Esma kissy You tried to get someone there.
Excuse me? That is a time Mr Through it.
Yeah, it's Thomas.
Yeah, it is, Thomas.
But again, right here.
What a great play.
All the way down to the one yard line.
And here's another look at the run right now.
That does not go anywhere.
Second going now.
Thank you, Dallas girl for joining the broadcast.
This drive has taken a good chunk off the clock here early.
The first drive always does.
They flip it to the end zone, and this ball is incomplete.
What a great job.
Their sins trying to be on the receiving end.
There was on the receiving end, and it was Joe Haden who knocked it away here.
He almost had this bond.
Joe Haden plays this past perfect.
He waits for it to fall into his hands, knocks the ball out of Sims hand, and that is a great play right there.
That is an incredible play from Joe Haden, right here to knock it right out of his hands.
And Joe Haden does a great job.
Now for Washington.
Eight in the first half on conversions, but in the second half are two of two.
Alex Smith looking, has to fire in this ball is incomplete.
He was looking to Sims Jr towards the sideline and throws it out of bounds.
Fourth and goal now for Washington and looks like they're gonna bring the field goal team on.
If I'm Washington right now, I keep the offense out here.
I think that's the You're at the one yard line.
I think you have toe, and I don't know why you would do to pass a place here.
Second down or at least third down should have been a running play.
I don't know why they're forcing themselves into two straight throws when you're at the one yard line, but you could see right here some great defense from Joe Haden on back to back plays, and I really think, yeah, you're going for it.
Alex Smith is out there fourth and goal.
Let's see what they're going to do here.
Three seconds, two seconds.
Smith takes the staff rolls right under pressure throws to the end zone and it is incomplete.
There is a flag down on the field.
We will check the flag.
Fourth in goes what it waas under pressure right away.
It's TJ Watt going at him, and there was literally I don't know.
I think that's the foul right there.
T J What? There is literally almost nobody open at all, and an automatic first down T J.
Watt called for holding here in Washington will get another try.
Remember earlier, the Steelers have the same problem where they got down to the one yard line and could not do anything.
Now Washington's taken their turn.
They have had four straight place that have not worked out in their favor.
But this penalty on T J.
What is going to give them four more tries to do it, and that's the thing right there.
Just a little hold means the little difference here between, you know, a victory and a loss in this round goes in for the touchdown.
Peyton Barber, the running back goes in and Washington strikes here in the second half, two straight drives in which they have scored points after their first what, like eight drives were nothing.
They strike with the touchdown here, right over the middle.
Little nice run here finds the whole right through the blocking, and that's all you gotta dio for the touchdown.
As we said, one of the greatest, greatest passing defense is in the league right now.
The Russian defense has been pretty name good, too, But all right here, Washington put it through Washington football team.
Well, will they be ableto win? The NFC sees this year? Will they be the Kings of the NFC East? What to see here after that touchdown, it looks pretty good.
Washington down by four, well ahead with us into Excuse me, we will continue with the broadcast here on SportsCastrs.
Stay here during the break.
Washington has played exceptionally well since.
You know that punt there last month.
They had the field on the last ride.
That last drive look pretty good.
This drives looking pretty good.
That often certainly seems to come alive right now for Washington.
Pittsburgh, on the other hand, has had a great day today.
James Washington has been the big receiver.
Let's actually check the stats here.
Um, I believe James Washington has somewhere around.
Yeah, he's got two receptions for eight years.
Thank you, Tammy New York 32.
For during the broadcast, you got DeAndre Johnson, who also called a touchdown.
Today, he's got five receptions for 39 yards, hold two receptions for 38 yards.
Eric Ebron four for 35.
But you can see how this offense works.
You know this will probably be Ben Roethlisberger as well as last year's.
A starting quarterback.
I see his downfall after this year.
I think that it was looking good this year.
But next year, even they thought about Dwayne Haskins.
Maybe being the quarterback for Pittsburgh.
There are many options for there are many options.
Really, there are many options for I'm looking at this out right now.
I feel like it's clutching.
It's just a bunch of pictures, pictures.
I think my whole screen is like broken for a second year.
You look at Pittsburgh and you look at what they've done this year 11 and so I really think they need to be 12 and oh, because I think in the first round they could get knocked down.
I think that that is a big weakness for Pittsburgh.
I think they've beaten the Ravens, but and they beat the Titans.
But there's a lot of teams in the playoffs that they haven't faced.
They haven't faced, you know, in my opinion, at least, I feel, though they haven't really, you know so far.
They haven't shown me what they're capable of when they face teams like the Chiefs, obviously, because they haven't played them teams like the Chiefs, plus the feeling that it sounds stupid.
But the Patriots, if they make the playoffs, could make a big impact.
Um, you know that that's what I feel.
They played the Ravens.
They played the times, they played the courts.
They want all those games.
And you may look at me and say, What are you talking about? Well, the Bills were still, so I think there's plenty of things that can knock out the Steelers if they're playing began.
But right now, the Steelers look pretty good, and, uh, Washington is trying to gain on Pittsburgh.
Pittsburgh again hasn't lost a single game this year, but Washington certainly creeping up on them right now, it's only a four point game, 8 16 to go in the third.
This kick is gonna go back to the end zone and come out to the 25 for Ben Roethlisberger getting his first look at the field since it's probably been about somewhere near an hour since he last saw the field and was actually on the field.
Gotta be somewhere around an hour at this point since he actually had the ball.
Here we go 1st and 10.
Now Office Burger takes the snap from his own 25 throws, completed to Billy Snow in the backfield.
He's gonna regain about where they work the line of scrimmage, maybe pick up a yard later today.
You've got the 40 Niners in the Bills.
Two great teams this year.
I mean, 40 Niners aren't great, great, but they certainly are still competing for the playoffs.
What do they like 44 and 65 and six? I don't even know their five and six, I believe.
Still competing for the playoffs.
They're gonna be playing in Arizona until they get to go ahead, because Santa Santa Clara Count said no contact force for what it was a two week period.
I believe as this past is incomplete over the middle, looking for Eric Ebron so that means that the 40 Niners had to move Arizona.
Kyle Shanahan said in a press conference that he was very disappointed.
He did not get the message himself, so they were clearly I'm prepared for this, and they do end up getting ready to play the Bills here on Monday Night Football.
And then tomorrow you have Cowboys and Ravens on a Tuesday night football.
We've got a lot of weird football games.
We got Wednesday night football now Tuesday Night Football.
We've got Saturday games coming up soon.
Assed, this past is complete.
Juju Smith Schuster hangs on.
There is a penalty on the field as Smith Schuster is going to pick up the first down.
If it stands, seems it was very close.
We'll see if they did hold them.
Depends on what the penalty is here.
Holding on Jimmy Moreland.
Number 20 right here.
Smith Schuster Hold, hold hold and he is ableto he's able to get the ball, catches the ball.
Hangs on, doesn't pick up the first initially, but that penalty does give them the first down, so they will move the sticks in with less than seven minutes and 30 seconds.
They'll pick up some more yards to the 31.
Roethlisberger looks throws completed Smith Schuster for about a yard before he has tackled by Bostick and Moreland.
Like I said, currently leading their division and they have a good division lead right now.
Next closest is the nine and three Cleveland Browns, but Cleveland kind of falls into a trap in these last weeks of the season season.
Excuse me? They have to face the Ravens next week.
They have to face the Steelers again, and, you know, they still they still haven't showed me that they are the team to be when it comes to or they can't win in the playoffs.
Rather, you know, I believe that they are a good team, but I just don't know if they could win in the playoffs.
Is this ball here? Was dropped and Billy Snell was lucky.
He got it back and he loses a few yards here.
But right away here.
Roethlisberger ready to take the snack staff.
And this is a bad staff that goes right to Snell.
Yeah, it doesn't seem like they were trying to snap it to him, but you guys might have came up with a good play there.
Thank you, Gabe.
Ex Moss for during the broadcast, 3rd and 13 out for the Steelers after that last play, Roethlisberger looks, has time throws, and it's incomplete.
He was looking for Deontay Johnson over the middle.
Would have been short of the first anyways.
4th and 13, we're so they'll have to punch it away now and the kid goes back near the 34 he's ableto make the catch there.
So that's where the Steelers Well, I have to hold.
Washington Washington's offense coming back out.
The Steelers lead at 5 47 to go in the quarter.
We'll come back after the break, your on SportsCastr and we're back with the broadcast here on SportsCastr Washington, taking over at the 34 yard line after the punt from Pittsburgh, first in 10.
Now they have 114 total yards through their first six drives and through the last 2, 123.
So that often seems to be clicking lately.
This run with but kiss er, excuse me, that's actually Barber.
Peyton Barber picks up one yard.
I saw 41 there, number 34.
Peyton. Barbara, Of course.
No. Antonio Gibson.
So they're working with what they got right now, and we've got a injured.
We've got two injured guy or excuse me? No, we've got there looking at the Splaine who got injured earlier.
We've got, Ah, Washington lineman down on the field right now here, and it's Brandon Sheriff who's going to come off the field three time Pro Bowl selection and seems like does his ankle get stepped on here? Well, actually, runs into.
He runs into paint Barbour, and it seems like it's his ankle here.
I can't exactly see it, but it looks like he turned his got his ankle turned Z.
That's what it seems like.
Second and nine now, after that one yard run clock will continue to tick down.
Spend a pretty quick quarter.
So far, Washington has highlighted the quarter with that one.
Pittsburgh have one, but resulted in nothing Smith throws over the middle.
It's caught to the 41 yard line, and this time it is McKinsey, the running back who comes up with a catch.
Yeah, if Washington would say it will still be the Giants who lead the division because they did beat Washington this season, However, Washington still has a few games left to play and if they can actually, you know, still find a way to get into that, you know, position where they win the division.
I think there's a chance for them in the playoffs.
I think there's a better chance for them than it is the Giants in the playoffs.
And I say this because the Giants did beat the Seahawks, but I feel like that was a fluke.
I think we have seen more of Washington this season playing good defense, and I think their defense can compete with good offenses.
As this past year jumped off is incomplete.
So it's gonna be third and three.
Now let's look, Smith went down here.
They're gonna be fourth and three now.
After that, play right here takes the snap, TJ.
Why, I believe, was the guy who gets the sack here.
Smith was able to dump the ball out T. J.
What's been so incredible this year? He's got, what, 12 sacks? He's been playing so great.
Yeah, no reason for a penalty.
He hit him and he threw the ball after he as he was being hit, you threw the ball fourth, three now for Washington, so they'll come off and after Pun Now.
Washington's offense was looking pretty good, but a quick three and out here is going to force them to punch it away with 4 26 to go make Cloud back to return.
I mean, I think the stills, you know, all I really have to do is score once, maybe a 10 points and that pretty much shut it down.
I think Washington has to play amazing defense.
To even win this game like Washington's office just still isn't there and that's the thing.
They have such a great defense, but the pieces on the offense are still there.
They still really don't know who their quarterback is.
I mean, Smith has been in for a while now, but it's like, Are you really gonna have Smith as your starting quarterback? I mean, his career is on the downside, so you really don't know.
As this return goes too near the 17 yard line, we will come back after the break with the Steelers and TJ Watt facing the Washington football team.
When we come back, you're on SportsCastr and we're back with the broadcast Steelers right here on first down, and they're going to pick up nine yards on the run and we have another injured player down on the field.
The injury bug certainly alive tonight for both sides, and it is Washington's Curl who is hurt and injured down on the field.
It'll be second and one for the Steelers now with 407 to go.
I think you know, again, Washington has a good defense, but the problem again is the offense.
They don't have that cemented quarterback like a Patrick Mahomes or Lamar Jackson.
They obviously don't have that.
So it's like, Where do you go? I think you got to give up under Wayne Haskins.
I think you know that's something that you probably have to gosh numbers up here.
Best winning percentage in NFL history 81 then you've got one guy in front of him, 6 82.
It's pretty close, but again, Washington.
You know, I think if they have to go off for maybe somebody in the draft, I think that might be their best shot.
I think, you know, that's really looks like it's their best shot in the draft, because you'll look at Dwayne Haskins and, in my opinion, still is not, you know, the guy that they thought he would be.
So I think it's possible you could trade them away to something like the Steelers, where they think they could do something with them.
And that possibly gives you the opportunity.
Thio gain some or offensive players.
Maybe they can reel in a guy like Chase Claypool.
Maybe they could bring somebody and you work with Alex Smith towards the end of his career.
And then you hand them off to a guy like, you know, Justin Fields or somebody who you pick up in the draft.
As you can see right here, All the greats Bill Belichick, 16 and oh, Don Shula went 14 and all 13 and Dollar Jill, George Balasz, all the greats.
Well, he's never gone undefeated, but um, certainly looks like it could be that way this season.
He started it off 11 and no looks to go 12 No tonight.
So curl now coming off the field, and the Steelers will take. We'll start.
Well, after the gain off, nine yards will be at the 27 yard line.
Roethlisberger takes the snap, fakes the handoff, throws it over the middle blockers in front, and Dionne Dionne Johnson, out to the 41 yard line, picks up a first down.
Another reception for Johnson tonight.
He's had a pretty big night already.
I'm looking pretty good, but this is the thing stores.
If so many guys, they've got Johnson.
They've got Smith. Schuster.
They've got Claypool.
They've got Washington.
They've got Eric Ebron.
They've got so many guys that can catch the ball.
And this is why when you have a quarterback like Ben Roethlisberger, who doesn't have to be Top 10 in the NFL can still get things done.
And he's got one of the fastest releases in the NFL.
And that's exactly why they are where they are right now.
And that passes incomplete looking in the direction of Johnson.
There is a flag down on the field here with three tend to go in the third quarter and it's holding on offense number 66 so that will move them back, gonna be first in 20.
231 consecutive drop backs without sack.
Last sack was Week eight at Baltimore.
My gosh, last week, guys.
Last week was Week eight at Baltimore.
He has played so well that he hasn't had a sack on a drawback since we gate.
This is how good Roethlisberger is.
And this is why, again, he doesn't have to be the best to be in the NFL.
He's got a good release time, and he finds a way to work it out, as he does here.
The on the past.
Excuse me like something in my throat.
Takes the step from the 37 looks over the middle, and it's incomplete looking for Eric Ebron and did not hold on, and I'm writing the numbers in.
That is something that you just cannot miss.
Five dropped passes tonight for the Steelers.
Last week they had seven, so the drop passes have certainly been a problem tonight for the Steelers.
But not on that one.
It's DeAndre Johnson, who has not had a problem tonight.
My gosh, another completed pass here as he picks up the first down and right away.
Separation loses this guy there, turn it over to the zone coverage.
There's nobody that can get him.
And he's all the way down to the 47 yard line of Washington as he picks up the first down and then slides down.
So got it all in one.
Nice play their first to 10 now for the Steelers.
Goto Johnson again. Here.
What I'm feeling like I I think Johnson touchdown right here.
That would be nice.
Add to your resume a 47 yard bomb.
There we go. Wash.
Roethlisberger incomplete looking for DeOnte.
Johnson could not hang on.
And so now they have six dropped passes tonight.
The leading receivers today.
Washington for 80 yards.
But Johnson's creeping up on him.
He's got seven receptions for 69 yards.
Eric Ebron has five for 41 yards.
Chase Claypool has got to for 38.
So Claypool, you know, starting off the season as a big thing and still is a great receiver, but they haven't used him like, you know, an Antonio Brown or a DeAndre Hopkins.
So he's still evolving and becoming a continuing to become a good receiver.
So I think you still have to look and you say he's a good trade package when you could ship them over.
For a guy like Dwayne Haskins is, this run is going to pick up about eight yards.
Here is gonna be third down, though.
After the run with Samuels, they're throw rather throw and catch, and one but a nice miss tackle there, another miss tackle there.
There was to miss tackles on this play from Washington.
And if you could get that tackle done, which is Moreland, who misses a Jimmy Moreland.
Those air two tackles right there.
When you take a third and long and it's now a third and short because you couldn't make the tackle, it would have been around 35.
But you missed a tackle.
It's now third into, so those are the things where it's like just missing a tackle.
If they get this right here, it's like, Well, it would have been a lot tougher on a third along then.
A third and short is this passes incomplete, looking for Chase play pool, but a defensive pass interference is gonna be called on Fuller here as he was covering Claypool, and it's gonna be defensive p I.
So this is going to get them all the way down to the spot of the foul, which was somewhere near.
I can't exactly tell you where this was guys, but it was somewhere near the 15 yard line.
It's kind of Fuller called for Pat's interference here.
Yes, so they're gonna get down to around the 25.
I don't know why.
I just thought it was around 15.
I was close enough guys 1st and 10 51 seconds to go in the third quarter.
Pittsburgh leads it 14 to 10 from the 25.
Roethlisberger hands it off.
This run is going to pick up no yards with Billy Snell Junior.
And it was to Hill, who was able to stop him on the run combined yards today.
39 off of penalties, 56 off of rushing.
So penalties have been a big part of this game.
You could certainly see that right now in the third quarter as it's winding down less than 30 seconds about 20 seconds now, remaining in the quarter 2nd and 10 for the Steelers from the 24 yard line of Washington trying to get into the red zone off 14 to 10.
You're on Monday Night football.
Roethlisberger unwinds over the middle and incomplete in the direction of Eric Ebron.
But it seemed like he was looking in front of him and it will be 3rd and 10 now, with seven seconds to go, he was looking for Washington.
I think Roethlisberger takes the snap pump fakes, looks under pressure, is gonna flip it.
Thio, Ebron Ebron gonna get past the 20 down to the 18 yard line, but they're gonna hold them and it will be fourth down when we come back with the fourth quarter.
You're on SportsCastr.
Yeah, that's yeah.
You being hey, every now years and then all right.
And we're back with the broadcast here on SportsCastr Washington and Pittsburgh Pittsburgh 11 to know this season, if you have not been watching Pittsburgh football, well, then you're missing out.
Pittsburgh leading the division in the A F C North.
They have beaten the Ravens twice.
They are 11 to know the best team in the NFL.
But Washington creeping up on them trying to win their division at Yes.
I know it sounds like a terrible record.
And now Matthew, Right? To kick the field goal.
This is his first field goal attempt of his NFL career.
Boswell is out tonight, so that means that this guy is going to get his chance in.
Uh, this will be his moment right now.
Try and make this field goal on the kick is good.
So he puts it through.
And Pittsburgh ads on there.
Now up 17 to 10.
So they are in a good position right now.
Washington going to get the ball back to start the fourth.
And in that third quarter, boy, there were only four.
There were only four drives, two apiece.
So Washington certainly took some time off the clock.
And they get to start this fourth quarter with a drive that will start after this kick.
But what a big moment that is for right.
You'll always remember that.
He'll kick off now.
Yeah, You always remember that.
Even if he never gets another shot, he'll remember that one time where he made that field goal that put Pittsburgh up 17 to 10.
And who knows? Maybe that will be the game winner.
Maybe they'll Washington will score and then miss an extra point.
That field goal will have won it all.
You never know, but it is very nice and very freezing in Pittsburgh right now, and I'm sure that everybody is pretty glad that they have a hat on on the venture.
It's some sort of a jacket.
Guys on the field must be pretty cold right after his first field goal, now to kick off toe Washington and with 14 57 to go as the kick is going to go back to the one yard line, here is the return.
10 20 miss tackle, their 30.
And that's where he will be tackled a nice run it and return out from the one after the missed tackles.
So Washington will take over there here on Monday Night Football, another Monday Night Football game coming up bills in nine hours.
We're getting pretty close to that starting one that's an 8 15.
I'll see if I could broadcast that one.
It depends on when this one ends.
If it does, if it ends and it will most likely go into that one, So if it doesn't fact go into that game.
I might do the second half instead of the whole time, whole entire game.
But it is definitely interesting to see these games.
You know, you got to on the same day, so you get a double header here on Monday.
Smith completes the past two McKinsey, and he's gonna get about six yards on the catch and go.
They run it with a kiss E now, and he is going to lose the ball.
Ball is out there able to recover.
And it was Thomas, the tight end who was able to recover the ball.
What claps his hands at the end of the play? He knew he had it.
He rips it out of his hands right there, and he almost got the ball.
He almost has the ball has to put his hands down to stop himself from going down.
He almost had it, and that is a tough play right there.
That would have been big.
Had they got it, they would have had it in Steelers in Excuse me in there in Washington territory third and four.
Now, though for Washington they are two for 12 and 10 average yards to go, however they have made.
They're two of three here in the second half.
This passes incomplete.
He was looking for the first down and could not get it. It was makeup Fitzpatrick.
He has made such a big impact on the Steelers team since his arrival mid season last year and is able to give them a boost.
Energy here as this pest McLaurin is incomplete.
So the punt here from Washington goes back to the 35 actually, 25 bounces.
They go to good bounce out of it all the way down to the 10 yard line with 13 15 to go.
That is where the Steelers offense will take over when we come back here on SportsCastr.
The Yeah for Yeah, thank you.
And we're back with the broadcast here on SportsCastr.
First to 10 play here goes nowhere.
It'll be 2nd and 10 after the blocked and knocked down past here.
Roethlisberger 26 of 40 day, 249 yards and two touchdowns, I 98.
9 passer rating.
So today it's been pretty pretty dang good for Ah, Ben Roethlisberger has not been his best night, but it's certainly been pretty dang good.
I mean, certainly better than most cubes in the NFL.
Roethlisberger, looking downfield, throws over the middle of this ball is knocked away.
He was looking for juju, Smith, Schuster and Smith Schuster slow to get up after a big time hit right there as he was going to catch the ball.
Yeah, this is just a, uh, that ball is just ready to be caught.
They're like, This is just a ball where it's perfectly thrown.
But there's two guys right there like there was just two guys.
So it was Everett in Boston were just right there, ready to knock it down.
And there was no hit hit.
Smith, Smith, Schuster still in the hands.
But two guys right there.
There was no chance he was going to catch that ball.
They run the ball.
And that was not a good decision at all.
Billy Snow gonna go nowhere on a loss of two.
And again it is Bostick and this defensive line that has been so, so good for Washington that is gonna get to on they have one of the best defensive, um, you know, units in the NFL.
I mean, this defensive line unit is just so good.
It just I just certainly seems thio click for this Washington football team and also four Pittsburgh lived to great defense is here is the kick on fourth or 12.
Gonna go back somewhere around the 46.
And that's where the fare cuts will be made by Sens.
Junior Washington football team will take over there when we come back.
You're on, SportsCastr.
And we're back here with the Washington football team and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Here's the handoff that is going to get near the 50 yard line for Washington as we head into the final stretch here this one about 12 minutes to go in TJ Want to tackles today to Kuby hits and one sack against Washington tonight and T J.
What Number 90 Been having a great season this far.
And he has been a powerhouse for the Steelers on defense, making big tackles, making big plays and really just creating tough, you know, pressure on Alex Smith.
And he's been doing a heck of a great job today, creating pressure and making nice place this past is complete.
Touma kissy to the 43 yard line close to the first down.
He's gonna be a little short, maybe third, and one is what it will be and Washington's office today.
Again, we mentioned it lackluster.
This is what they've been all year.
It still has not been there, but the fact that they're getting close to what they need to be at this year shows that you know or student.
Getting close to what they need to be at toe win football games shows that, you know next year when they pick up the pieces they need, they could be in contention for the playoffs again.
And certainly in a division that is one of the worst ever, so it certainly helps as well.
This run is gonna pile through and get Thio.
What 42 yard line pick up a first down? We have an injury.
Steeler down on the play.
It's Joe Hayden help.
It seems like a severe injury here.
We had the referee was standing over here and never a good sideline when they never a good time when they do that to the sideline and have that motion.
Certainly when the coaches coming out.
It's never a good thing.
Joe Haden right now, hoping that everything is OK right now.
Joe Haden walking off the field. Yep.
Like this with a little help.
So it seems like he will be okay.
We'll have to check those.
See what happens. Hopefully, we'll get another update tonight.
Smith motions, fakes the handoff on play option throws downfield, and it is behind his intended target, which was, I think it was Men's here.
Rather not men's, you know, just a little bit behind Simms here.
2nd and 10 from the 42 Washington trying to get closer to the Steelers.
Right now, Smith looks downfield throws and completes it.
It's McKissick who has been a very big target here in this fourth quarter.
Another completion as he picks up a first down and keeps the chains moving for Washington.
Alex Smith trying to get Washington down field, you know, they really need to score right now.
I think this is where you have to get a touchdown.
You know, you have to tie it up with Steelers because the defense is probably gonna allow at least another field goal, maybe a touchdown.
You cannot settle for a field goal.
This is a must score touchdown drive right here.
If you're Washington, I just can't see them going downfield and scoring like two more touchdowns after this.
Like, you could see that this offense is hurting and they need to figure it out.
Right now, they hands it off, and this run is gonna pick up about three yards with none other than a kissy once more here.
But you could clearly see you.
This this Washington's offense is hurting.
I mean, they've been hurting all year.
The Onley great game they have had is really was against the Cowboys on Thanksgiving, but their offense with Alex Smith plus 14 in the second half in points per game yards per game, plus 240 for most in the NFL since Week nine.
So you can see that clearly, things have been getting better there on the uprise.
Alex Smith has really been leading this team, but there's still one of the worst offensive teams in the league, so it's like they gotta figure thing out.
Things out this past complete again.
Guess whom a kissy first down in a little more, and he's going to get close to the 15 yard line into the red zone and again, McKinsey.
Same play where he goes out to the right.
He's got a blocker.
Well, should have been a blocker.
Didn't end up being a block because you had the man that was kind of wide open in front of him, but a kissy again.
He's been a main target here in this fourth quarter, and again, you know, they're utilizing him as much as they can.
And now you've got Barber to the right.
Smith looks throws to the end zone.
This false **** Thomas Touchdown Washington It's Logan.
Thomas, who had another big reception, got them all the way down to the one yard line, and he finds himself wide open for the touchdown.
Washington As they strike back, and with an extra point, they tie it up here and right away.
He's not the fastest guy on the field, but when you leave this kind of guy absolutely wide open and even in T.
J was even able to get to Smith.
When you leave a guy like this wide open, there is a problem and they deliver right here for the touchdown. That's a problem.
That they left him that much wide open on that play.
And the extra point is good. 17 17.
Washington tied it up.
We'll come back after the break.
Your on SportsCastr.
Hi, but Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Be? Yeah, right here.
And we're back with the broadcast here on SportsCastr Alex Smith, 27 or 40 today.
And he leads Washington right back, tied with the Steelers, 17 17.
As this kick goes back to the 10 bounces, here is the return.
Got to get past the 30 and a leaf escaping and jump to Grandma's house out to the 40 yard line.
Hopkins was the guy that finally got to him.
The kicker as they pick up a good amount of yards right there and they going to start around What, 30 something? Your online? The ageless wonder.
Tom Brady, these and Angels owner.
But so is rough. This burger.
I mean, there's nothing that you could take away from RAF this burger.
He's a great great player, and certainly Washington again four and seven overall in the NFC is their second if they lose today, it doesn't matter because they'll still be second.
But you really need this one.
This is really a must win game for Washington.
They have to stay even with the Giants, and I feel like you gotta win this game.
This is a very important game, especially if you want to win the division.
So and I want to make an impact and show that you could beat teams like the Steelers.
Is this past completed? You just in the Shuster out.
So the 45 yard line second and three with under nine minutes to go in this one approaching the ending here today of was been a great game.
We are, we have been.
We've watched a very, very close one between these two teams, and, uh, it's so interesting to see this one today.
This past is complete along the left side and out of bounds.
They go as they pick up a first down Roethlisberger.
Again, this is one of his last season's.
You see the downfall of Roethlisberger coming.
I mean, it's just seems that way, but there's no doubt about it.
He's a great quarterback.
He's having a great year this year, but they have to get ready for his, uh, you know, demise.
They have to get ready for his downfall.
So the first step in the process is getting him a backup quarterback.
And I think that you from experience, they know that they can't go with a guy like, you know, Devon Hodges or what? Whoever the other guy was Mason Rudolph.
They have to get a guy like Dwayne Haskins to back him up, and I think that's very crucial if they want to contend next year and the year after that.
This past completely.
Deontay DeAndre Johnson for about two yards as they pick up some more yardage today.
Nice little pass over the middle of Johnson, then his main target today, and they've hit him a lot.
James Washington's been pretty quiet since the 50 yard touchdown.
There hasn't been much action action since then.
He has only since then on Lee to catches he's had today, but for 80 yards.
So he's come up with some big plays, a 50 under in a 30 yard Oh my gosh, Ben Roethlisberger.
All he had to do was move out of the way, didn't even have to make a big move.
All he did was turn around that he completes this one.
Did you just miss Sister? Let's take another look at this one.
All he did was turn around.
All Roethlisberger did was turn around.
My gosh, I was fine.
All he did was turned around and he lost his men, Man.
So third and three.
Third and three now from the 41 takes the snap.
As time throws completes it.
It's juju Smith Schuster, and it's going to stretch out for a first down.
That was a heck of a pass right there from Roethlisberger.
I mean, he's just he's not even in the position to throw.
He's like, backing up.
He's being hit and he still releases this bomb, and that's what a great quarterback does.
You know you're under pressure.
You're not one of those guys where you have to roll out of the pocket because Roethlisberger can't roll out of the pocket to be honest.
So when you look at him, what he's doing right now has been so great this year.
This past is incomplete and this ball was almost interception intercepted.
He was being hit and just had to release a little bit of, Ah, just a kind of flick, their 2nd and 10.
Now all really Pittsburgh has to do is get within field goal range, kick a field goal and then start and then get a good defensive Siri's.
And essentially, then all you do is run out the clock on offense.
So that's three things they have to dio.
They have to run out the clock if they can pull off these other things.
But the most important thing right now is getting the field goal, and then you have to hold Washington and then you run the clock out.
Three things they have to do with 5 45 to go.
The thing about Washington, though, is that they still have the two minute warning.
They still have three time outs, so it's not as easy as you think.
If your Pittsburgh this past is completely juju Smith Schuster and he's gonna get past the 30 down to the 29.
But again, you have no Boswell.
So you got the back up kicker in there, so it's really you have to get very far to be able to kick a field goal.
You're hoping on third one here, you pick up the first down you need.
You really need to get Ah, touchdown right now.
I mean, that's what is very important is to pick up a, uh, not just the first down here, but pick up a touchdowns drive.
I think you really have to go for that here.
You have to trust in your defense and say even on, you know, maybe 1/4 down.
Even if you can't go for here, you got to go for it.
I just feel like even, you know, if they could get in within, like, 25 then you kick the field goal.
Maybe, but whether I right now, I don't know what that looks like for a field goal.
This past is incomplete.
And here you go.
Here's the scenario right here.
Or do you kick the field goal or do you go for it? I mean, if you have a boss, Well, this is a no brainer that you're kicking the field goal, but with the back up kicker, looks like they could keep the offense out here.
And I think you have to have trust in your defense.
I think you have to trust your defense.
You have to trust what they've been doing today.
And you have to say Okay, you know what? That's what we're gonna do.
But the same thing for the Steelers, you know, they have three points in the second half.
Washington, on the other hat hand, has 14, and they have 17.
Uh, really, When you think about it, that last that last drive in the first half since then, since before they drive, they had nothing.
So they have 17 points where they've rallied and they've tied this game up this ball downfield.
He was looking for Anthony McFarland, and it is incomplete.
It was broken up.
53 Washington's defense is gonna come in the clutch right here.
They're gonna come in the clutch, and now they're gonna get their chance back out on the field like, Oh, my gosh, that hurts.
This is right here.
Face the past to him, then lobs it up to him and this ball that has to be reeled in it.
But that's a tough thing you're asking for.
Like that ball is just out of his reach.
And that stinks.
If you are the Steelers right now, you give Washington.
Not only do you give him the ball back, they still got three time outs on Now Washington.
You put Washington the driver's seat, so that is a sad scenario right there for Pittsburgh.
They hands it off.
It's Peyton Barber, and he's going to get to the 31 with a three yard carry.
So, you know, that's something right there.
Where if you had Boswell, that's a no brainer.
You kick the field goal Europe 20th 17, but with no boss.
Well, it's not a simple as kicking a field goal with the back up kicker who's never played in the NFL before.
This past is complete.
Now it's MMA kissy again, who picks up the first down and a kissy once more, comes through with another great play. They're gonna actually Markham.
Sure, it's gonna be third and inches about very, very close right now, but Washington, without Antonio Gibson trying to fight their way into Atlanta over Pittsburgh, They're getting very close right now, and I said, Go into this game, I told myself, You know, don't you can't just say this is an easy game for the Steelers.
This is a hard game.
Washington has a good defense, and I said, You know, there's a chance Washington could pull this off.
Well, anybody could say that because really, when you look at these two, defense is That's what you gotta look at.
And Washington has certainly done that.
This passes complete Touma kissy out to the 44 yard line.
Oh, it's McKissick.
I thought it was, um a kissing.
This whole time is McKissic.
Somebody should have corrected me.
Somebody gotta tell me It's McKissick and that McKissick my gosh.
Second and four now Alex Smith trying to edge his way close to 300 yards today but more importantly, notched a win and put themselves to five and seven this year and try and contend for that division title and this past is incomplete.
Knocked down 34 4.
A huge play coming up and you have got right here.
You have got to make things happen on this third down again.
This is just Hayward sticking his big hand up there.
There is nobody.
There is nothing that Washington could do right now with that kind of in that kind of scenario.
3rd and 43 10 to go Clock has stopped after the incomplete pass.
And here we go from the 44.
Smith looks downfield, Throws one up this ball.
Ah, one handed catch.
He's finally touched down.
He was not touched immediately, it seems, with a big catch on third and four picks up the first down.
What a game changer Right here.
He's one on one.
He passes his man right here.
Get separation, gets the catch.
Keeps on going past the 20 five and Oh, my gosh.
Washington could pull this off right now.
What a catch from Sims.
The catch of the game right there.
Comes up with a huge one handed reception down to the 27 now, first to 10.
Eight seconds to go in the play clock.
Time ticket down sends this guy in motion it Simms again.
They hand it off barber, and he's going to get down to the 24 yard line.
And, boy oh, boy is getting very close right now between these two.
But again, if you're Washington, you just gotta run the clock down.
Pittsburgh is gonna take a time out.
You run the clock down here, you kick the field goal.
So second and eight right now, you want Pittsburgh to use their time outs Right now, you don't want them to have any left.
If they have to go on offense, you don't want them to have any left.
So again, if it's second and eight here, I'm running the ball again.
That's my scenario.
I run the ball again.
They're probably gonna use one more time out, and then they're probably gonna let it run after that to the warning.
But we'll have to see her.
But again, Alex Smith played so well, Week 11 got the win over the Bangles.
Then, in Week 12, he was able to beat the Cowboys, came up with a nice win against them.
And now, in Week 13, trying to not you win over Pittsburgh.
This past is complete.
Behind the line of scrimmage clock will keep running here, and it looks like Pittsburgh has used another time out.
It was behind the line of scrimmage clock.
So I'm guessing Pittsburgh's used another time out, and they have so this will use this one right here.
Then they'll let the clock tick down to the two minute warning after this next play doesn't matter if it's a run or whatever, and then they'll keep that last time out, most likely after that.
So that's what will happen here.
But again, I don't know why you would do that.
It's second and a I run the ball here.
There was no reason to throw a screen pass right that, like it was just silly.
But again, it was better off than trying to throw it over the middle.
There was a better chance this was gonna be caught, so I guess that's the reason why they did.
That makes make the Steelers used another time out right now.
Ravensfirst Colts Tomorrow.
We've got another game on Tuesday Night Football.
I'll see if I will be covering that when I'm pretty sure I will tomorrow.
We'll have to check from the 27 Now.
Smith takes the snap looks on 30 10 throws and Cano it is incomplete, and with 207 it's 4th and 10 hours.
So the Steelers did a great job.
Good use of their time outs.
Now because with 207 you still have the two minute warning.
So the Steelers did a very smart jump.
They really playing this out very smartly because right now you're forced Washington into a field goal, and if they make it, then they kick off.
You get the ball back and you still might have one second you're gonna play.
Then the two minute warning so the clock doesn't keep running.
So they did a very, very smart play here by using their time outs the way they did.
Coming your way.
Right now with two or seven.
Here's the kick.
It is up and it is good.
Washington takes the lead 22 17.
There's a flag on the field and let's check the penalty real quick.
It could all be coming back right now and we'll have to check what the penalty is right now.
Offside Defense penalties decline.
Feel those good Washington leads it.
Oh, boy. Oh, boy.
The 17 Washington, They lead it.
And this is a big scare right now.
Right now they have one time out remaining.
They stubbed the two minute warning and the two of four to go.
Washington will kick off.
But this and this kick, of course, just barely good.
Of course, it doesn't get any better than that for Washington, with Ron Rivera his first season as Washington's coach, trying to get them to the playoffs.
And what a big time field goal that is certainly seems to pay off.
And what it would be for Ron Rivera beating the Onley undefeated team left today in the NFL.
But it's not over yet to four to go, but again see you kick the ball off.
And again, this means that they if they just let it go out of if they just let it go back to the end zone, that means that you'll still get another playoff.
Then you'll have the two minute warning, which will stop the clock.
So the Pittsburgh did a very smart They really did a smart job off utilizing their time out here.
They didn't use another one.
They used it perfectly, and that's what's gonna put them in this position right now where instead of having a minute and 30 maybe a minute and 10, they have two minutes and four seconds.
Still, the two minute warning this kicks gonna go back to the end zone.
Let it go, let it go.
So they let it go here.
So you possibly get another one, maybe even two plays before the two minute warning.
Depending on what happens.
11 game win streaks, which three through 14 in 2004 and weeks, one through 12 or 2020 points per game.
Pittsburgh has 5.
8 more than they did back then.
Past percentage for Roethlisberger is much better, and he's doing a lot better cubes to win 1st 11 starts of season, 1st 11 starts of season twice.
Well, the other guy that did that was Peyton Manning.
So certainly in that same kind of feel that yeah, I think they both think they're both pretty good.
I would say this past is not so I picked off.
It's picked off by Washington.
It is picked off with 1 59.
my gosh, it's picked off by Bostick.
Washington is going to get the ball back.
It was knocked down and then caught.
Are you kidding me? Washington.
They might pull it off.
Washington leads at 1. 59 to go.
They have the ball at the 25 yard line of Pittsburgh.
Will come back after the break.
Your on SportsCastr? Yeah, Yeah.
Just right, people.
And we're back with the broadcast here on SportsCastr.
If you're just joining us, Washington leads it.
22 17 after a field goal and then an interception with 1 59 to go.
Washington football team.
They have not won three straight games since week.
Six of eight in 2019 2018.
Rather well right now.
Oh, out of breath.
They have the ball at the 20 What? 25 yard line, I believe.
My gosh, you had 25 yard line.
Big time right now for Washington.
They hand it off and this goes nowhere and you could see T. J. Watt.
His frustration rips him down second down, But again, you don't use your time out here.
If you're the Steelers and I don't know, you could pull this off if your Pittsburgh, it's gonna be definitely a tough thing here.
But again, right away.
It's knocked down, the pressure gets to him, and it was actually not the guy who had his hand up immediately that the guy comes and he's like, Oh, you're throwing the ball Okay, Hits the ball out of the my gosh, I believe it was Chase Young who hit the ball.
I'm not exactly sure, but I believe it was Chase Young.
2nd and 12, Maybe not.
Was Bostic who did get the ball after it was tipped second or 12? Pittsburgh does use their time out right now, so this is a tough scenario, and again, you run the ball here.
There's no reason why you would even think about throwing the ball here.
You don't even forcing incompletion.
You have to run the ball of these times and again, they stop it.
You're not looking to get a first down here.
Of course, that'd be nice, but you're more looking around the clock and then kick a field goal.
I don't even think about throwing the ball.
There's no reason why you would throw the ball ever on these kind of place because you don't want to risk an incompletion when you can run out the clock like this.
You don't even have to think about that possibility.
All you have to dio is run the clock out now 30 12.
All you do is run the clock out and you run it down.
Maybe maybe you're on a third down right here.
You might actually you know what? Maybe maybe on a third down like this, you you might think about doing that.
But I really think that you would just run the ball here.
I won't even try and throw the ball.
I think you just run the ball at all costs.
They run it here.
This is going to get the edge in.
Not really gonna lose the yard.
Actually seemed like he was gonna get the edge there so ripped down.
It's fourth down now, and the difference between the play clock and the game clock is about 11 seconds.
So a field goal here is going Thio put you up by six.
If you're Washington, Pittsburgh has no timeouts.
So all three intact.
So if your Pittsburgh you have the ball with, like, maybe 17 seconds, you would just have You just have to hope and you know, hope things go your way.
You have to hope and pray things go your way.
I mean, there's really nothing you could do at this point.
They called time out with one second round Rivera trying to get his team to a victory.
So you're gonna have to around 17 seconds.
There's car gene 20 seconds currently, but of course they're gonna kick the field goal here.
So it's like 17 seconds by the time we're done kicking a field goal.
So Hopkins going to try his third of field goal today? Number three trying to give them three more.
And when their fifth game of the year here, Hopkins two of two today made one from 49 made one from 45.
This is also a 45 yarder.
But you know, this really doesn't if he misses this one.
It really doesn't matter that much.
I mean, unless they go on field and they you know Pittsburgh can get a field goal.
Really? Pittsburgh relatively has to get downfield, and they have to get somewhere around the 40.
They they I mean, with the kicker like this, you have to.
They really it really has to be a touchdown.
I mean, unless they could get down to the 20 yard line.
But it's like, impossible, so they need a miracle right now.
I mean, maybe on the kick return, you try and get something.
But there's a few possibilities for Pittsburgh after this one.
We'll see what happens here.
It's close, but it is good.
Washington leads it 23 to 17.
It's a six point game.
And now wow, my gosh, 20 points in the second half for them on Lee.
Three for Pittsburgh.
Pittsburgh gets the ball again.
You have a good chance where you can set up a scenario where you could run a few plays and try and get close.
But if you had, Boswell would be a completely different situation, because earlier they would have kicked the field goal.
This field goal would have taken the lead, but it would have been a whole different scenario.
Have you had Boswell in this game? So this is certainly not the promising scenario that the Pittsburgh Pittsburgh Steelers wanted to be in right now, but 17 seconds.
You're down 23 to 17.
You're gonna get the kickoff.
And now it's a matter of what happens on this kick off.
Do you return it or do you not return it? I think you already.
You have no time.
I think you've just gotta let it.
They're probably gonna squib it. Honest.
They're probably Honestly, they're probably just gonna do a little short kick.
That's what I would do if I'm Washington.
I don't even bother kicking it deep because I think you want to run out as much clock is Pittsburgh has because it's not like they have to get a field goal here because with the range of this guy, you really don't know what the range of this guy is.
So it's like they have to score touchdowns.
So if on Pittsburgh I I probably be looking to return this football right now, to be honest, here is the kick.
It's going to go back to the around the end zone and will come out to the 25 so they will not bother returning it.
That's where Pittsburgh will start.
They have to go really 75 yards in 17 seconds.
I really don't see them kicking a field goal.
It doesn't even one of my saying It doesn't even make sense to kick in.
You can't even kick the field goal anymore.
You have to score the touchdown.
When I just forgot for a second, I forgot that they kicked the field goal.
But even if you were down by three, you have.
So they have to go 75 yards.
By the way, the Steelers are 78 1 and one in this home stadium with a 14 point lead.
But that's certainly seem to be a race today.
They were all 14 to nothing.
And then things came alive, this past downfield knocked away from Chase Claypool.
And again, Washington's difference comes to the aid off their team right here.
And it's Darby on the initial coverage, and he's the guy that gets a hand on it here.
So it's just been it's been all over the place for Washington.
I mean, they haven't for the Steelers offense in the second half, they have been all over the place.
Now, with 12 seconds, you're hoping maybe you could get another play.
Get out of bounds again.
You can't go over the middle here, so you have to go to the side They've got a lot of rules to follow.
That way they can actually make this thing work out.
They throw it down.
Field is caught by Eric Ebron He doesn't get out of bounds and the game is gonna be over.
He does not get out of bounds.
Washington is gonna win it.
The final score.
Washington has ended Pittsburgh's undefeated season.
Pittsburgh falls to 11 and one.
Washington sneaks out of victory.
There now five and seven.
Washington Their first win vs Pittsburgh since 1990 one.
My gosh, Pittsburgh Falls! Final score 23 to 17.
And an amazing game from Washington as they come back, they went.
If they were down 14 to nothing.
And what youth hate to they come back and win.
