News Monday Morning Edition Going over week 13 Sunday Slate of games This time.
Sunday Night Football.
The Denver Broncos at the Kansas City Chiefs.
The Denver Broncos attempted to do something that a lot of teams try to do against the Kansas City high powered offense.
And that's bully them.
Not only offensively trying to run the football but sending tons of pressure on Patrick Mahomes trying to force him to make mistake's.
However, Patrick Mahomes ended up on the day 25 of 4318 yards and a touchdown and was able to make plays in the second half.
He was only able to score this.
This Broncos defense kept the Chiefs toe on Lee, scoring one touchdown this game.
They ended up forcing Onley five field goals.
The chief was able to move the ball between the twenties without any issue.
Generally, because of the high powered offense, they were able to just move the football.
Now, granted, the Chiefs did a are.
The Broncos did a great job getting pressure, but on Lee got one.
Sacked by Jereme Maya.
A tout you, but a ton of pressures now in this game.
Melvin Gordon carried the football 15 times for 131 yards.
Handler added 13 and Lindsay added 26.
They ran the football down their throat.
Drew Lock had another busy, abysmal performance.
15 28 151 yards, two touchdowns, two interceptions.
Why was Drew lock throwing the football at certain times of the game, and why were they running it during certain times of the game? It made no sense.
There was a second four in this game late, where Denver was trying to drive the field to take the lead, and they lined up in a big formation.
Kansas City crowded the line of scrimmage with 10 men in the box, and yet Denver still tried to run the football.
Why there wasn't a play action called Audible at the line of scrimmage before the snap happened is beyond this.
I don't understand.
There was also times when you thought, Hey, they should be running the football.
They were running it very, very well, and at times in this game they did. They ran it.
However, Gordon was the guy who was getting all the big yardage, and Phillip Lindsay was the one to ended up carrying the football late in the game for the majority off the second half.
Why? Why didn't Gordon get more yardage? Why didn't you get more carries? This is beyond me and my thought process e don't get it.
I don't know if he was hurt or not.
They did hold Kansas City rushing the football.
My poems had 26 yards.
Tyree Kill, obviously on an end around, had a 30 yard run.
But in general, Levian Bell carried the ball 11 times for 40 yards, 3.
6 yards a carry.
But that 40 yards and 3.
6 yards a carry was actually a little bit skewed by one big run of 15 plus yards.
Travis Kelsey was the player of this game by far.
Hill had a touchdown taken away off a blown coverage late in the game by ah holding call where in which he did a flip in the end zone from the celebration.
But because of the hold, it was called back Travis Kelsey.
It catches 136 yards and that single touchdown for the Kansas City Chiefs again weekend Week out.
Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelsey show up for the Kansas City Chiefs.
Denver had multiple chances to win this game, and just the play calling the offensive play calling was questionable.
Multiple times makes you kind of wonder what's gonna happen later on in the season with the coaching.
Is there going to be, Ah, hot seat? Who knows? I want to thank you for watching this edition.
Denver versus Kansas City, Sunday Night Football Week 13 here on SportsCastr and as usual until next time, I'm Laurence Owen, and I want you have a good one.
