And we're lying.
Welcome to the title Town Show.
I am your host, Matt.
Score a We got my co host in the middle, Mr Sam Daring.
And we got a special guest.
Also off with special Guest.
Ben, how are you this this fine Saturday evening? I am doing great.
How are you doing, Matt? I am doing great as well.
And let me ask my coast that same question.
Sam, how are you this fine Saturday evening? Doing well worked all day.
It's good to end the night talking sports, though.
Yeah, you're right.
It definitely is.
And for today's title town show, we will be discussing the ultimate beat down the Packers had against the Bears.
Last Sunday was a full on massacre.
And then we'll talk about the upcoming matchup Week 13 on Sunday between the Green Bay Packers and the Philadelphia Eagles.
Definitely going to be an exciting match of the talk about.
But before we talk about the Philadelphia Eagles, let's get into the beatdown that the Packers put on on the Chicago Bears.
It was the ultimate beat down.
I believe the final score was 41 to 25.
I'll go to you, Sam.
What were your thoughts on the Packers win against the Bears and then moving toe? Eight and three, uh, Packers win against the Bears? That has, ah, well above average defense.
I think I put 27 to 17.
Is that final score? And obviously they definitely exceeded those expectations.
It was a ton of fun to watch.
Yeah, it definitely was.
And I'll go from from from a new neutral fan and Ben, when you watch the Packers beat down on Sunday Night Football against the Chicago Bears, what were your thoughts on that game? I mean, it just shows that the Green Bay Packers, they're a really good team, and they're gonna be a force to be reckoned with.
I mean, I feel like, uh, two.
I just feel like the Packers really could be a Super Bowl contending team, even with those three losses, like they're gonna win a majority of the rest of their games.
And it also highlights that the Bears have a really big offensive problem.
I mean, you don't you can't win at quarterback with with either fold or Travis Key.
I mean, Travis keep pretty much had a average true biscuit game around 242 yards, two picks.
So I I feel like, Yes, it was a great win for the Packers, but it also exploits Ah lot of problems with the Bears offense.
And I like that you brought that up, too, because I think it exposed even more problems than the Bears already had.
I mean, we feel like we've definitely realized that before is their run.
Their run game is not strong at all, and their quarterback is obviously not not the only problem on their offense.
Alan Robinson is having a really good year, and nobody's talking about it because of the quarterback situation that he's in.
And I think he's he might.
He's either on pace or he's already broken 2000.
Hey, had 1100 last year, Um, and he put up numbers of Blake Bortles throwing the ball.
Hey was on the A F C championship game when the James from the A F C title game.
Um, and they run deep, they're running their run offenses awful.
Um, their their their offensive line has taking it taken a really leave a huge leap backwards.
They've taken huge steeps, huge leaps of regression, Um, huge steps of of regression.
Um, in the past few years and David Montgomery's rookie year, he was very promising.
And now you're seeing him going up against, um, like defense is like the Packers who aren't overly impressive.
But defense is like the Colts where he was exposed.
Um, and they're running.
Their run game is also another huge issue.
And, um, it's this Bears offense.
It's starting your getting well over halfway through the season, and you're starting to realize that it's more than just a quarterback problem.
Yeah, quarterback problem.
But more than just a quarterback problem.
Yeah, you guys definitely hit it on the money that I think it was a great win by the agreement Packers.
Definitely a bounce back from from their bad loss against the Indianapolis Colts.
Just toe put the smack down on the Chicago Bears.
That was definitely a great thing to watch and also a fun little fact.
What that Packers win.
They actually made it to 100 wins in the Bears Packers rivalry history.
They were the first team to hit on her winds in that rivalry.
So I was definitely a good thing to watch, and it was also good to watch Aaron Rodgers.
Did you guys know in that game he did not have a single hit or a single sack at all? I mean, with with how great that Bears defense is, I thought Rogers would get hit a little bit.
I thought you get pressure a little bit, but to be able to hold them to know, hits or zero sacks have that clean of a game and dropped 41 points on the Bears defense.
I think it was a huge win for the Green Bay Packers and and like and like Benn said, the Green Bay Packers have a lot of winnable games for for the for the rest of their schedule, like they're probably the toughest games for the rest of season is probably gonna be that Tennessee game.
Weak, weak 16 at Lambeau Field.
That's probably be a tough game.
Tough games, so we'll see how Green Bay finishes out.
But they put themselves in good position to still be in that number one seed conversation because they're only a game behind the Saints, who have a 92 record, and I think the only team above them besides the Saints, is the Seahawks due to tie breaker.
Oh, that that's about it.
Like if green bacon stay in that one seed conversation, their chances of potentially going far this season have have a very, very good chances.
And if they could continue to play like this and one thing that I love the most I love how Preston Smith stepped up in that game against the Bears, seeing him recover that fumble and running in for a touchdown holding.
That's a spark for Preston Smith because Preston Smith before this game, it was kind of having a little bit of a down here.
Obviously, he said, expectations high from himself last year because he had.
I believe it was 12 sacks last year and Za'darius Smith had 13.5.
Obviously, Big Z is doing his part.
He's near the top of the sack totals.
I believe his top five and sacks for a defensive player.
But one guy has been disappointing.
Little was Preston Smith.
We kind of thought you would continue what you do in a year, one with Green Bay and year to its kindly, been a little slower.
But seeing him have have a good game against Chicago, hopefully that helps helps them get better.
Because if Preston Smith can get it could get better.
Help stop the run game.
It's a very Smith keeps on doing well as well as Kenny Clarke, especially with that front defense with how much of a liability our run game is.
If we could play like that, then we're definitely going to be a team to be to be reckoned with for for the rest of the remainder of the regular season and into the playoffs.
And let's get into tomorrow's matchup.
The 371 Philadelphia Eagles head toe Lambeau Field to play the eight and three Green Bay Packers.
Now a lot of people look at this and say that these two teams are on two totally opposite perspectives, once clearly competing for a suitable in the elements competing for the number one pick.
But you're actually wrong.
My friend Philadelphia Eagles still got a chance to win the NFC East division now for agreement package.
On the other hand, they still got a chance toe thio to go far this season.
But let's let's get into this.
Let's talk about the Green Bay back.
Let's talk about the Green Bay Packers side of things.
I'll go to my co Sam.
Who do you believe on the Green Bay Packers on the offensive side of the ball is gonna have a fantastic game.
I'm gonna go Davante Adams on this one because the Eagles second, it doesn't really scare me.
Darius Slay is a good corner.
Darius Slay was a good pick up from that team.
Um, but I mean, they to me.
I just I don't see anyone outside of Darius slay on their secondary that, you know, that scares me.
Um, but I'm gonna go Davante Adams on this one.
Aaron Rodgers is a very close second.
And then I'll go to our special guest, Mr Ben Hoyt, who's a diehard Eagles fan from the Philadelphia Eagles.
Who are you most scared with on this Green Bay Packers offense for potentially having a great game? So you would think I would be scared of Erin Jones.
But I'm not because usually running back struggle against the Eagles, because we are.
We are a above average run defense remember our Super Bowl year.
We shut running backs down and we and we, we still have a glimpse of that.
However, I again I am very scared of our secondary.
I am very scared of Davante Adams and the Aaron Rodgers combo.
You could also see Cem receivers like Lazard and Vallas canceling having a good game.
So I don't know if I could pinpoint as specific player other than Davante, Adams and Erin, I'll say Davante Adams and Aaron Rodgers combo.
Definitely a good point there.
I'm gonna go with the bad man. Aaron Rodgers.
I'll go with Aaron Rodgers just because of the fact that you know he's in the M V P race.
I think it's the M V P races between Pat Mahomes and Aaron Rodgers, one and two.
Aaron Rodgers right now leads the league in touchdowns with 33.
I feel like this could be a game where he could potentially pad had those stats more and further ensure his case as a potential M V p this season.
Hopefully, he could get M V P. Number three.
That would be fantastic have happened, but I'm also going to go with Aaron Rodgers just for the fact that last time Aaron Rodgers played the Philadelphia Eagles, it was last year.
In Week four, he had over 400 yards.
I believe you have 422 yards and, like a touchdown or two with With how, with how banged up the Philadelphia Eagles secondary is and how suspect it is, even though they do have Darius Slay in there.
Aaron Rodgers knows variously.
He played them twice a year.
He was in Detroit.
He knows his ins and outs, knows where he's going to go on stuff.
So I'll just go with Aaron Rodgers just because of the fact that one the quarterback is one of the key reasons toe that they could win games and to he know he knows what the Eagles are gonna bring.
He's seen he's played this team before.
It's essentially the same team as last year, except maybe a couple additional pieces, like a Jalen Reagor or a Darius Slay.
But it's pretty much the same same pieces on defense as as last year, so I expect Aaron Rodgers toe have to have a phenomenal game and hopefully he does because Green Bay is 83 they can't afford toe lose.
Lose any games risk of season if they want to have a chance to get that Number one seed.
Uh, let's move on to the other side of the ball.
The Green Bay Packers defense.
I'll go to our to our guest and Ben from the Eagles offense. Side of the ball.
Who do you not want on the Packers defense on the ball to have a phenomenal game? I mean, you're Alexander is a scary person.
I mean, I think Carson is just such a liability right now throwing the ball.
We've seen glimpses of him running the ball last game, which is a great site because you're getting 10 12 yard runs without fumbling.
But I mean, John Deere. Alexander.
He gets picked, and I bet he's going to get some pics off Carson.
What about you, Sam? Who do you believe on? The Green Bay Packers defense is gonna have a good game.
China is a good pick just for the fact that they don't have.
I mean, they're still trying to find their identity at you know, the wide receiver corps, Travis Fulgham, who has obviously been a stud.
Um, my other friend is very indifferent on Alshon.
Jeffery Jalen Rigor at when you When Jalen Rigor gets his opportunities, he's not a bad receiver.
Um, my pick is going to be so Darius Smith.
Um, the offensive line on the Eagles has struggled with injuries so much.
I'm not I don't think that should necessarily be an excuse for the performance of Carson once.
Um, but I do think it is a small factor.
However, it's not a huge excuse, but the Eagles offensive line have dealt with so many injuries throughout the course of the season.
Um, and I do things there.
Smith is one guy to watch out for? Definitely.
You're gonna say something, Ben? No.
Good players with Julia Alexander and Za'darius Smith definitely go wrong with either one of those players.
But I'm gonna go with a different route.
I'm gonna go with I'm gonna go with the defensive front and Kenny Clarke.
Kenny Clarke just recently got got paid his extension before the season started, and he's kind of on the same path where he's quiet during the first part of the season.
But when it gets down to the final weeks of the season, he starts to turn it on and and rack of sacks.
This is the game where Kenny Clarke has to perform well and has to get the sack numbers because because as of lately, Kenny Clarke has been a little quiet this season.
You know, he he had his injury, where was out a couple weeks and then he's come back in.
He's been pretty much quiet.
I mean, we paid.
He gave him his extension before the season started because he was are made run stopper.
Defense is still a liability, and he hasn't really contributed much to try and stop that.
And so I think I think this is a game where Kenny Clarke wakes up and starts to be a force.
I mean, we've seen throughout Kenny Clarke's career in Green Bay, where he struggles early in the season.
But when it comes late in the season final stretch, that's when he starts to rack up those ***.
And that's why he gets toe.
You know, being mentioned as one of the better, better defensive tackles in the NFL, obviously not one of the best, but you know you could probably put him in Maybe like a top in the top 10 conversation, at least, you know, from a defensive tackle standpoint.
So I just think for the fact that Green Bay has to try and get pressure on the quarterback to make to make Carson Wentz uncomfortable.
I think Kenny Clarke has to be one of the reasons why, you know, if I had to pick other players besides Kenny Clarke, it definitely would be Giant Alexander and Za'darius Smith.
I think you guys make great great pics with those players on.
You know, I'm just going with Kenny Clarke just to go from or more of a different perspective.
Mawr, more of, ah, like a interior kind of got to try and shut down the run because for being honest, if the Philadelphia Eagles could get the run game down, whether whether it's with whether Miles Sanders or Boston Scott, I mean, it would make the game a lot easier for for Carson Wentz to do well because I feel like when the Eagles can't get the run game down, they got to rely a lot on Carson Wentz and we've seen Carson Wentz be a liability all season.
So you know, I got Kenny Clarke because if he can stop the run, that Green Bay is gonna be in great hands for this game and let's go on the other side.
The other team, the Philadelphia Eagles.
Let's talk about the offense.
I'll goto you, Ben.
Who do you believe on? The Eagles is gonna have a good game on the offense.
You know, I'm tired of talking about the offense, Matt, but all jokes aside, I feel like Boston Scott's gonna have an amazing day.
I mean, I think he's had pretty decent games all throughout the season, but I think this is a game where he's gonna break out.
I believe Miles Sanders is also going to have a decent game on the passing end.
I would like to see a little revival of draft of Travis Fulgham.
I mean, he's had a few down games and this could be a game where he really breaks out of shots.
What about what about you, Sam? From the from the Packers? I think who you not want tohave a good offensive game for the Philadelphia Eagles.
So who are not? Who do I not want to have a good offensive game.
I'm going to go Miles Sanders in that run on that run game.
But I want to shift gears and kind of talk about a player that I'm in, you know, intrigued because you don't know which guy you're going to get.
And that's obviously Carson Wentz.
Um, and I don't know if you watch 10.
Um, I don't agree with some of his Eagles takes, but he's an ****ytical.
He's an ****ytical genius, very close to it.
Um, and I've listened to him cover college football games, and he does a really good job.
But his his Eagles takes are kind of blasphemous sometimes.
But, um, I'm really interested to see what Carson once shows up, because this defense, the Packers defense on paper, they should be top 10, but they're not.
They are outside of the top 15, I would probably say top fifth.
I would probably say in the 15 to 20 range right now, Um, there, sitting at the mediocre side, um, their secondary looks promising.
I've always said this splash of the offseason underrated, um, off season move that the Packers made this past off season.
But this is not an elite defense that Carson wants.
That Carson Wentz is going up against the run defense is atrocious.
So and we've seen the amount of times Carson once has gotten sack.
And you have even mentioned Ben that your egos air make.
They're expecting Carson Wentz to do more than he already has, and because of his injury history, he shouldn't have to do that.
And he has the weapons.
And, yes, they're not elite weapons.
He needs to accept the fact, especially with their three and 7371 and they're still in contention to make the playoffs.
That the run defense for the package is awful.
The secondary is not great.
It is a developing secondary outside of J. R. Alexander.
The pass rush is very promising, such as Darius and Preston Smith.
We've seen limited flashes out of Preston, but I'm interested to watch and see which Carson Wentz shows up.
Is it going to be a Carson Wentz that is somehow playing? I'm not saying he is, but he's somehow playing like he's a regressing quarterback, or are we going to see slow improvements out of Carson Wentz and very promising statistics and promising performance out of Carson once against this Packer's defense, I mean, not Thio interrupt, but I think Carson does well when he has time, and I don't think he's gonna have that time with that pass rush.
I mean, we make opposing defense is look better than they are.
I mean, we look, we made New York look good.
And I think if I'm the Eagles, I am going full force with Rush on first downs.
I mean, we cannot be losing yards on first downs because that will put us in holes holds.
That means that we're gonna have to pass, and Carson will be eating *** against that pass rush because it's just inevitable with that defense.
So if on the Eagles I really need to take advantage of the Packers week run defense, Yeah, definitely make good points there for the Eagles offense.
I don't want to have to have a good game.
I would I would also agree with Sam and say, Carson Wentz, the reason being is we've seen Carson. Wentz is flashing.
We've seen them play great.
I mean, you look at look at the final drive you out against the Giants, where he just look like that 2017 Carson Wentz were wondering where that once where that Carson Wentz player kind of was, and even in crunch time against the Seahawks, where he decided toe throw off every betters money line for Seattle when it was minus 6.
But it's one of those where for Carson once, you never know what kind of once you're gonna get, and that's what's kind of scary for the Packers defense's.
You could as a defense walk into this game and expect, You know, the Carson Wentz is not gonna be good this game, and then he somehow goes back to M V P form and just slices and dices the defense.
And then you're in a world of hurt.
So I'm going with Carson Wentz just because for the Eagles to do well this game and for them to have a chance to somehow some way, compete and win a division and host the playoff game, they need to have Carson Wentz played great because if Carson Wentz does not play good, this Philadelphia Eagles team is going to struggle and they're gonna They're gonna etch their name for top 10 draft pick.
But because it's division is so bad, they could either be a top 10 pick or have a home playoff game.
No, it's it's kind.
It's kind of Ah, kind of a pick or choose.
But I'm going with Carson Wentz just for the fact that everything, everything revolves around the quarterback.
If your quarterback is doing well, then your offense is gonna do well on your team is gonna do well.
If your quarterback is not doing good, your office is gonna be very stagnant.
And unless if you have a **** good defense, you're pretty much going to be over and out of the game really quick.
So I'm going with Carson Wentz just for the fact that if the Packers defense doesn't hold it on, whence it doesn't get him pressure.
Like Ben said, if Carson Wentz is comfortable in the pocket has no pressure, he could swing it down the field to make great passes.
So that's why I'm going with Carson Wentz just for the fact that you need to have Good Cube Plato win, and this is a desperate Eagles team last time the Green Bay Packers play the Eagles.
Last year they were one and two and very desperate.
And what happens? They go into Lambeau Field.
They win that game, saved their season and go to and to.
It's the same exact situation for the Philadelphia Eagles.
They go into this situation.
The 371 Green Bay is 83.
Gravy has a commanding lead in the division. Historic.
We're gonna lose the division, but the Philadelphia Eagles there 371 They look at this game and say, Hey, a lot of people were down us.
A lot of people are going to sleep on the Philadelphia Eagles, but we still got a chance to win this division.
We maybe 371 But if we win this game, take it one game at a time.
We could potentially win this division and host a playoff game so Carson Wentz can play well, Great, but it's gonna be an award of hurt, especially on that defense.
Inside of the ball.
Let's move on to the Philadelphia Eagles defense.
I'll go to you, Sam.
Who are you most concerned with? On that Eagles defense? Thio potentially having a good game.
I'm gonna go with Fletcher Cox on this one.
Fletcher Cox hasn't been bad.
Um, but for his age, yeah, he is getting up there in age, but he's got 29 total in 5.
5 sacks this year.
But if I had to pick one guy to stop, I think the Packers have the pieces to stop him.
But Corey Linsley is added to the I R.
Um, so obviously, that is one big glass, because Cory Lindsay's played well this year, and that's making the offseason that much tougher.
But Elton Jenkins played center in college.
You might see a weaker side on that offensive line, but I'm gonna go with Fletcher Cox on this one.
Definitely a good tick there.
Let's go to our Eagles fan and Ben.
Who do you want on the Eagles defense to have a great game against the Green Bay Packers? I mean, I love Brandon Graham.
That guy just gets sacks and I and we need sacks on Rogers.
I mean, you remember the Super Bowl sack against Tom Brady, stripping them and pretty much clinching the Super Bowl for the Eagles.
That was Brandon Graham and and he's continued to do that to this day.
I believe Brandon Graham, Fletcher, Cox and the rest of the deal.
I need to have a tremendous day for the Eagles toe win because they need to get pressure on Rodgers, period.
Love you guys points there.
I'm gonna go on the secondary.
I'm gonna go Darius Slay the reason why I'm going with Darius Slaves.
Eagles traded a lot to get variously out of Detroit and into Philadelphia, and everybody thought that was the peace.
That was the piece that the Eagles were missing to get over the Hub and push the Cowboys in the NFC East division to do well.
And so far, the addition of Darius Slay been okay.
Has it made a grand impact on the Eagles defense? No.
Their second hysteria still have problems.
Yeah, I've still got some problems, but this is a game where Darius Slay need needs to do well.
Darius Slay, obviously knows, knows the Green Bay Packers offense.
He was with Detroit his career most of his career.
Until this season.
He's played them twice a year, so he knows.
He basically knows what this Packers office is gonna do and Darius way.
He's gonna need to shut down Davante Adams, because if we're if we're being honest, it's Vontae.
Adams has a good game.
If that Rogers toe Adams combo is doing great, that it's gonna be pretty much over for Philadelphia, it's gonna be over.
But if Darius Slay confined away to contain Davante Adams and shut down Davante Adams through the game and basically tell Aaron Rodgers, rely, rely on your rely on the inconsistent receivers.
Try and beat us with Alma's are Try and Beat Us with Marquez Vadas Scammon If they could find a way.
If Green Bay can be Philadelphia with MVS and Alba's art and basically take away Montana's throughout the game, I think if you're their defensive coordinator, Jim Schwartz, you just have to tip your cats, Um, and just say, ****, Aaron was just a great quarterback utilizing his weapons, But I'm sorry.
Jim Schwartz, I believe, was the defensive coordinator for the Eagles.
He is basically telling all of his guys in Darius Slay.
Do not let Davante Adams have a big game because it's Davante.
Adams has a big game against the against the Philadelphia Eagles is gonna be a rap.
It doesn't matter if you shut down the run.
Doesn't matter if you contain all the other receivers.
If that Rogers and Adams combo is working, who is gonna be tough to stop? Because, in my opinion, is very hard to name combos besides Rogerson Adams on the best in the NFL.
I mean, maybe my homes and Hill, maybe Breeds and Thomas, but Rodgers and Adams, that's one of the best in the business.
And once that gets click and it's very hard to stop.
So I'll go with Darius Slay, just just for the fact that if he doesn't contain Davante Adams, it's gonna be a long day for that Philadelphia Eagles defense.
And let's let's move on to to for, say, a probability, our confidence meter in this game. Let's go.
Let's go with the Eagles fan and Ben Ben.
Is there any confidence on the Eagles winning win this game on Sunday? I mean, that's the million dollar question, Matt, and I'm still asking myself that question.
I have almost no confidence because, like you said, we need to contain Davante Adams E.
And I don't think he can be stopped.
I think he could only be contained.
I believe you said at one point, Matt, that Aaron Rodgers would have to test the other receivers.
Throw it to Alan Lazar.
Throw it to market balance.
This canceling the thing about the Eagles is they make the secondary receivers look good.
I mean, for Dallas, they didn't throw Tomar Cooper.
They threw the Michael Gallup have made him look fantastic.
I just believe that are offenses so bad and our offensive lineman is gonna give no time for Carson Web.
So the run and I just believe Aaron Rodgers he just throw dimes and he just He's been doing it for years and he's gonna be like, Yeah, definitely love the points there.
Let's let's go toe to you, Sam.
What is your confidence meter in the Green Bay Packers, this upcoming game against the Philadelphia Eagles? I have a lot of confidence in this game.
I think this should be a game where the Packers gonna come with the chip on the shoulder.
I mean, they the loss to them last year start like once they lost to this team last year.
This was started to be a completely new team because what I think they started up.
What I think was four.
No, there there.
Three, you know, three, you know, And that laws, I think, took a lot of confidence out of that team.
Um, and it's somehow turned into a trap game.
And this Eagles team from this year is a completely different one from this year.
And But if I'm not mistaken, did the Eagles come out with a report the other day that they said they're keeping Howie? Roseman is the GM? Uh, it's more likely than not, but I still believe, okay, I didn't really just like a headline office, said he that he is or he's not staying.
Um, yeah, but before you go on, I think that's just Philadelphia sports media.
You know, rumors were flying all the time through W I 80 or 97 5, the fanatic.
So unless it's confirmed, I don't think you can really go to any conclusions, and I want to get your thoughts on this to Azaz.
I think this team needs to change whether that be blowing it up, whether that be looking for a new GM like a right GM, And rumor has it, I'm saying, if Doug Peterson gets fired somehow in some way, John Dorsey's name is heating up, and rumor has it he wants to bring Eric the enemy wherever he goes and Eric the enemy.
John Dorsey coming Thio because the Eagles have a good amount of draft capital and they have a quarterback, a position that is very hard to come by.
And you have Carson once.
Yeah, Carson once is not playing well this year.
And what I don't like, what people do is they write people off.
They write players off after one bad year.
Um, Carson once is one of them.
Baker Mayfield is another.
Mayfield is underachieving as a as a quarterback.
Yes, um, even though the Browns are, what, eight and three right now.
But that's the one thing that is a really gets on.
My nerves is people are writing players off because of one bad year.
Yes, he is one of the most injury prone quarterbacks in the NFL.
Obviously, what the key phrase there is when, when he's healthy, if they they had a mock draft.
Um, you guys really picking seventh right now? Andi, I'll just do a little spoiler for you before I kind of we kind of, um, shout out or other stuff.
Caleb and I did a Caleb Skinner and I did a mock draft.
First we have the Eagles taking Micah Parsons.
Um, it's like the seventh pick because the Eagles need a face of their linebacker corps way Had the Packers taken on raw state brown.
But my point is, the Eagles need a change.
Yes, they need to change.
They need to blow this team up.
In my opinion, I think they need to pick one, maybe two guys on that defense of side of the ball to keep and build around whether that be a guy like Fletcher Cox, especially their D line.
The D line is one of the positions that I would be least worried about outside of maybe their secondary, obviously, in their pass rush.
Because you're right.
I mean, they're the Eagles run defense is above average.
They're not a Green Bay Packers run defense assed faras.
My confidence goes, I'm not sure if we were doing scores yet, but I'm gonna go 34 20 Packers.
I think the Packers When Andi, I don't know if you ever So what? What is always irritating is unless it's just Oh, like we're gonna win.
Anyways, the Packers always let teams come back, like, try to let teams come back the last, like, 5, 10 minutes of the game and week one against the Vikings, Um, last Sunday night against the Bears and like, Yeah, you're just preventing the deep ball.
At that point, they're not coming back.
But I think this is gonna be a game with the Packers.
Um, but I think they're still gonna end up winning.
Um, and I think they're gonna win that game.
And I was gonna ask you that to Matt.
Do you think the Eagles should blow up this team? Do you thought I think they need They need to change.
Yeah, I think e think they need to change.
I think it should be Howie Roseman.
I mean, I believe in Doug, and I know I'm like I was Garrett said that Matt Nagy.
Nagy, Uh, I can't say the word.
I'm doing a Matt Nagy, but here's the thing.
I mean, he took it to the playoffs three years in a row.
New Orleans lost in New Orleans in the second round and then lost of Seattle.
I believe Carson needs this day, and here's why.
I mean, I think this is just a weird, rough year.
I mean, it's 2020 and I think that we need offensive line help, and that should be your first pick in the theme.
The what? The 2021 NFL draft.
I believe that if Yeah, I, I believe if a new coach comes along, fine.
But I think the GM needs to go because his draft has been horrible.
I believe Carson needs to stay.
We need defensive help.
So this will be a offensive line defensive draft because even like Jason Kelsey, the center, he's getting older.
We need someone to replace him.
Johnson's getting older by the day and the rest are not really that great.
So I think this is going to be a complete rebuild for the offensive line and defense.
Yeah, I was gonna say to I'm sorry, Matt, but I was gonna say to is, they need to blow up that team.
They need a culture and yeah, obviously, Carson Wentz is the Carson Wentz is the face of that franchise right now.
Um, and it's they've made it clear they've forked over all this money for him.
Um, yeah, He is having one struggling year, but is how he rose.
We're gonna be the with this team in the future.
Is Aziz Doug Peterson.
I think there was another guy. I forgot his name.
There was another guy in the front office.
If I'm not mistaken less, I'm thinking of another team.
He didn't go to practice earlier that week because he was so frustrated.
I don't glory. That was the owner.
You practice? Yep.
I personally think Philadelphia needs to blow it up.
If they don't make the playoffs this year with their team, they got They got to find a way to move on.
I think I personally think regardless, um, because it's like, yeah, if you don't make them, If you don't pick the playoffs in this division, I should say, if you don't win this specific division because this division, Yes, it's obviously the weakest in the NFL, But there's some talent on there, And if if they if teams if GM to these teams build this team right, like David got on my awful GM.
Um, Howie Roseman.
Yes, he's not a good GM at all.
Um Redskins, GM Redskins haven't had that bad of a draft.
Um, they can't finish games, but the team looks very promising, especially if they go draft the quarterback.
I don't know how the Cowboys are this bad, Um, and no, Mike McCarthy is not getting fired.
I think he'll get one more chance.
I think he'll I think he'll go into next year on the hot seat.
Um, but if you have a smart GM, unlike all four of these teams, and you build that team right, that division that that division itself could be competitive with other teams.
And Sam, I love I love You mentioned of John Dorsey.
John Dorsey, everywhere he has been, has made the team better.
When he was with Green Bay, he turned them into title contender.
There's when he was in Kansas City, he turned, he turned them around.
He turned the Chiefs around with with Alex Smith into a content into a consistent playoff team.
They weren't really contenders because you still have the Patriots there.
But you knew that the Chiefs were gonna be in the playoffs year in and year out, whether it be a wild card or or when the division and even even when he was in Cleveland, he turned Cleveland around and he drafted some pretty good talent.
Granted, it didn't really work out well in Cleveland, and he got. He got canned.
But look at where Cleveland is now.
They're eight and three, and it was pretty much all John Dorsey that that built the team.
I feel like if the Eagles should move on and blow it up, if they were to move on from Howie Roseman and Doug Peterson and knowing that John Dorsey would bring in Eric, the enemy found Jeffrey Loria and the Eagles, why not? Why wouldn't they want to do that? Because because if we're being honest, the Eagles are nowhere close to what they once were in that suitable bread.
I mean that that's who will run.
It's looking more and more like a fluke here.
I mean, with all the injuries that they have had with all of their talent, just seeming thio age over the years.
Even if you make the playoffs is you.
I would just say, Why not blow it up? It's always better, in my opinion, to rebuild a year early than too late, because if you do it early, you know, maybe you fail.
You know the first two years, the other team has their fun while they get the clown on you.
But when you're on the come up and they're on the rebuild, you get to look down at them and laugh at them.
That's why I think the Philadelphia Eagles should do.
They may be looking at the other teams they may be looking at that they may be looking at the Cowboys.
They may be looking at the Giants, even even the football team.
They may look and say, You go ahead and you compete for the division.
You compete for the playoffs, you know you'll be below 500.
We're gonna be smart and and play and play chess.
We're going to get a top 10 pick.
We're gonna move on from our head.
Coach and GM get some new talent, gets, um, draft capital build around Carson Wentz better I don't think they move on from one.
So I think that contract is too bad.
You're not going to get rid of that contract even if you want to cut him.
All that dead money you gotta absorb it is not worth it.
You gotta find a way to make it work with Carson Wentz.
And even even though you drafted Jalen Hurts in the second round, which is a bad decision.
Even though you drafted Julian rigor in the first round, it was a receiver.
Obviously, I think we're doing better.
If you would have Justin Jefferson instead.
But you gotta receiver Jalen Reagor.
You have You have to find a way to make it work.
Let me add to that.
You got a receiver.
The Packers didn't.
Yeah. There you go.
Received for Green Bay. Did not.
And this Philadelphia.
It's a very interesting team in Philadelphia.
I mean, you look at even even though the last two years that Philadelphia has made the playoffs, you've kind of looked at them and said, Yeah, you made the playoffs.
All right, I guess something after the Super Bowl run, Obviously, it's phenomenal.
You go 13 and three, but once tears his a c l when he comes back and Nick Foles finds, um, Miracle pixie dust in 2018 somehow beats the Bears, and it's really close with Saints.
As the Eagles fan, You kind of looked at that and said, Okay, I'll take that.
Even though we went nine and seven, we beat the Bears in Chicago.
We almost beat the Saints.
This is successful season, but then you go in the last year and it's like, Oh, my God, what is this? What what happened when like Like, I think you probably want a lasting and just be like just take, Don't don't make the playoffs.
I don't care if the Cowboys are choking.
Just get us a higher pick and just build offensive line.
And then, obviously, you know, you make the playoffs and you get a clown on the Cowboys.
Like ha, you choked.
Now where the playoffs.
But then what? Carson Wentz goes down.
I bet you better.
So I think it's like, Oh, great, Once is down again.
His first postseason start and cloudy just put the c**** of the coffin on him.
Obviously, we counted everything he can in that playoff game.
But you knew once once went down, the game was over.
Because I'm sorry to tell you, I know Josh McCown.
He was a great player, but old Josh McCown was almost 40 was not going to beat that Seahawks team that that that just was not gonna happen.
You knew Once once went down that first quarter, it was only a matter of time of when you were gonna lose that game.
And then it's so funny because I was at that game and we weren't getting updates.
So we didn't even know whence was like down with an injury until we saw Josh Macau coming.
And we're like, Wait, what just happened? Um, so but here's the thing about this city, and I want to talk about this city for a moment.
This city likes winning.
They don't like rebuilding, they don't like losing.
And the sports media is gonna have a field day with this because you're gonna get a bunch of angry callers and I think it's gonna be such a negative atmosphere in this city if there's a rebuild.
I mean, I would be all in favor of Eric B.
I think he's an awesome guy. Awesome, coach.
But if it's gotta be a rebuild, it's got to be quick because we just hate Dallas and we don't want them waiting.
We don't want them having pride over us.
We wanna be the team that makes the playoffs every year like we did the last three years.
So it's gotta be a really quick rebuild e.
I think it will be.
I think it will be.
I don't think it's gonna be a rebuild I'll take.
I'll take 3 to 5 years.
Like like in the dark days with Chip Kelly.
When when you you took years to fix what Chip Kelly, I don't think it's gonna be that.
I think it's gonna be one of those where it's like a retool like a quick retool, Maybe missed the playoffs one year, but better make it the next year like a Cleveland situation.
Obviously, you know, Cleveland had terrible success beforehand, but talking when they had all the hype last year and they failed Philadelphia, Chicago Take that approach.
Take, you know, this year just tank and get a top 10 pick.
Move on from the g M of the head coach.
Get a new guys, get new guys in new revamped team and then kind of sore.
Because the NFC East is not a good division, it's not like it's not like you're in a tough, competitive division like the NFC West of the A F C North.
The NFC East hasn't had a consecutive division winner in 15 years.
I mean, a different team has won this division every year since, about probably 2000 and six.
And the last team that did repeat was your Philadelphia Eagles.
And they don't they don't look like they're gonna repeat this year.
I mean, granite.
There are miracles.
Miracles do happen.
I'd say like a half game back from the New York Giants in the first place, so you could potentially repeat.
But, I mean, the Eagle schedule is not friendly.
It is not friendly.
I think you got Green Bay tomorrow.
Thank you. Got to play the saints.
You know, you play Seattle last week.
I mean, it's it is not pretty, is not pretty.
This might be, you know, down the stretch that this might be a point where the Eagles has got tested pride like it might be at a point where it's like, All right, how long can we keep this a competitive game? Because a year Thio to make it even more miserable the next three games You got the backers, you got the Saints and you got the Cardinals.
All three of those teams are either battling for Super Bowl or bowing for a playoff spot.
I think the way the Cardinals air playing, I think the Cardinals are beatable.
For for the for the Yeah, it definitely is.
It's because, like the yes, the Cardinals are good and the Cardinals had almost if not just about the same hype as the Buccaneers dead because of that DeAndre Hopkins trade and how lethal that offense, they're the top.
Think the number two now.
I don't remember who's above him, probably the Chiefs, because they were.
They were the number one offense in the NFL for a few weeks for quite some time, and I think I think they're too right now.
But some of their losses don't look good.
Um, and one of them is definitely the Detroit Lions, who's now fired Bob Quinn and fired Matt.
Patricia, Um, and now they're lobbying for Robert Sala to become their head coach.
Defensive coordinator for the Niners.
I think they said he has family ties.
Um, I think to the organization or to the owners, to the owners.
I'm not mistaken, but I think the Cardinals are beatable team for both the Packers and the Eagles, because some of the Cardinals losses don't look good at all.
Andi, I think the Cardinals I think the Cardinals are gonna end up being the last seed in the NFL are in NFC in the playoffs.
But I wouldn't be too shocked if they get canned right away in the playoffs.
Yeah, I wanna be shocked, either.
I don't know why Detroit's going after Sala.
I mean, obviously solids.
A good defense going there.
But didn't they go after patrician last time? Because, yeah, exactly.
They need offensive minded coach.
They had Jim Caldwell, who was a defensive minded coach.
You know, a lot of people are saying to is the Lions that Lions ownership should apologize to Jim Caldwell because weren't they like there were nine and seven for two? They were 97 for two straight years.
And then they fired Caldwell because they had enough of nights on which, which was the right move at the time.
I mean, you look, that's what I'm like.
I think it was the right move at the time.
It's just this is you.
Hire is just you hire him with Patricia, who was done much well.
What's interesting, too, is this is the best team map pictures has ever had the work with with his time.
With that, you're in Detroit There.
He brings in almost every free agent he brings in his from the Patriots to build the Patriots scheme because he's from that Patriots regime.
So now whoever comes into that is gonna have to deal with trading all these players or how many.
How many players on that Patriots like from that Patriots team that's under short now? Are they gonna end up keeping like how, how big of a blow up are we going to see Detroit going into? Are we going to see Matthew Stafford's name heating up in free agent or heating up in the off season trades? I wouldn't be too shocked.
I think the quarterback situation in general with Matthew Stafford, San Donald, Dwayne Haskins.
Especially if they draft the quarterback.
All those names and they're gonna heat up in the off season and especially the draft.
Yeah, especially in the draft. Detroit.
Detroit's one of those teams where they pretty much have to blow it up.
I mean, they can't They're not going to compete in the energy north.
They're not being in Green Bay.
They can't be Detroit.
No, no, that can't be destroyed.
They can't beat themselves.
They can't be Minister Soda or Chicago.
They essentially should bought.
I think they should have blew it up years ago.
I mean, I made I made a bold prediction when they had the eighth pick in the draft before they took TJ Hawkinson.
I thought Detroit you should have traded.
Stafford moved on from him and took Dwayne Haskins.
Obviously, Dwayne Haskins is, uh, not not looking good right now.
But with the hyper on Dwayne Haskins, I thought Detroit should went into that season and say, Look, we're not we're not competing this season.
We're not going to make the playoffs.
Let's just rebuild.
Let's trade Stafford.
While his value is high let's move on from Slay while his value was high.
Let's just revamp this entire team.
Take that eighth pick, get our quarterback of the future and go from there.
Obviously, they did not take my advice.
They did not take wise Jesus advice, and they have slumped ever since.
Which is good for us because, you know, for Green Bay, it's It's easy to wins, even though even though they players close green.
Biggest done in the end.
And let's let's see, let's see what Detroit could dio.
I mean, it's gonna be a very interesting off season for for ah, lot of these teams.
I mean, for Ben's Eagles, depending on where the Eagles fair up, if they make the playoffs, do they run it back with the same team because they have hopes that they made the playoffs? Or do they blow it up because they missed the playoffs? You know, how's how's even salmon eyes? Green Bay Packers? How are they gonna take take on the off season? We got a lot of free agents to worry about with Lindsley and Jones and Williams and Kevin King, depending on where Green Bay shapes up if they hoist the Lombardi Trophy somehow.
How are they going to take the off season if they somehow disappointed the playoffs? How are they going to take on during the off season? If they make a deep run and fall short, how are they going to approach the off season? It's gonna be very interesting with how these teams approach their their off season and how each team is going to shape out, which then brings into our score predictions for this Green Bay Packers Philadelphia Eagles game.
Sam, you mentioned your final score.
You said 34 to 20 Green Bay.
I'll direct the same question toe you.
What do you think the score prediction is gonna be between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Green Bay Packers? I mean, Sam almost nailed, uh, nail on the head.
I mean, I think I'm very similar in terms of score.
I mean, I think the Eagles are going to score just because the Packers defense, But I believe the Packers were just gonna score more because the Eagles defense is so bad.
I believe the Eagles defense is gonna be stopped on a few drives.
But I do think also that the Eagles are going to make a two point conversion before this game is over.
Because dog does not like kicking extra points for some reason.
So my final score is pretty close to Sam's.
It is 31 2, 22 31 20 to screw up those betters who had minus minus eight, minus 8.5.
I was gonna say, Yeah, spreads 8.
5 so spreads and a half.
So knowing, knowing Doug Pierce and they'll probably be them by eight Eagles have done a pretty good job of messing up.
Those better so far have done a pretty good job so far.
I'm gonna go with I will go with the Green Bay Packers win.
I'm gonna go with 37.
I'm gonna go 37 24.
I think Green Bay wins by two scores.
I think this is gonna be another good game by Aaron Rodgers and the Packers offense.
I mean, this is essentially a game for the Green Bay Packers.
Green bag can't take any games lightly.
They can't afford to lose any games down the stretch.
I mean, we're talking.
If Green Bay wants a chance that the number one seed, they're pretty much in a win out mode the rest of the way through because, I mean, you look at the Saints and Seahawks.
They are very, very, very good teams.
And their schedules are very friendly for the Seahawks and the Saints, the remainder of the scheduling the Seahawks.
It's pretty favorable down the stretch.
I think they got the Giants, got the football team and then one other easy opponent before they got to play the Niners of the ramps.
You look at the Saints.
Their schedule is pretty favorable throughout the rest of their season until they play the Kansas City Chiefs.
So I mean, you look agreement Packers.
They're in pretty much a situation where they can't have a bad game.
They can't have a game like they had against Minnesota, where they just like Dalvin, Cook, cook them.
They can't have a game like Indianapolis, where Europe big at halftime, and you let them come back in and win in overtime.
They can't they can't have that happen.
They gotta play like they did against Chicago Bears, put him away early, and then if you want Thio Plame or conservative defense.
Don't let the deep ball go buy.
Go up like the Bears.
Like Go up 41 to 10 and maybe let them win final school, 41 25.
It has to be that kind of game for Green Bacon's Philadelphia you got.
You gotta put away the Eagles early.
You gotta make Make them toe where they have no conference of winning.
Because I'll tell you right now.
They like the underdog mentality when they wanted to well, run.
They have the underdog Mass.
They have a dog mask on because everybody doubted them.
Don't doubt the Philadelphia Eagles.
You gotta put him away early, even even in a way like like the Seahawks did, even though the Seahawks struggling on Monday night, they put the Eagles away early, early and often, and they wound up winning.
Winning the game, you know, because of because of what Wilson Wilson was able to dio Green Bay is gonna do that same thing.
Get up early on the Eagles, put them away early and get the job done.
Because a lot of ****ysts are gonna look at this game and say, if Green Bay keeps it close with the Eagles.
Uh, the same old Packers.
Same old Packers not going to get it done.
They keep it close with the bad teams.
They lose for good teams.
But if Green Bag can put the can put the foot on the Eagles throats, just fully beat them up, they're gonna look at the Packers and say, Oh, this team's got offense.
This teams like ****, this team could make a run.
This isn't this isn't the Green Bay Packers of last year where they just fold against good teams.
Uh, they could go make a deep run.
So that's personally what I think Green Bay has to do in this game.
That's why I got a final score.
Sure, what was going on, I think, is 30 37 37 toe 37 to 23.
They gotta put a beat down on.
They gotta find a way to get the job done, and I believe they're going to do that now.
There's one thing I say what will be talked about if they don't get the job done, this team is not going anywhere.
This Green Bay Packers team, if they can't be the 37 and one Philadelphia Eagles team.
They're not going anywhere.
You're pretty much going to kiss the Super Bowl.
I mean, I mean, it's gonna be very hard for Green Bay 20 Super Bowl this year as is.
I mean, the Saints are a good team.
Chiefs are looking great.
Steelers got a legit team, so even winning the Super Bowl this year is very hard.
But if you can't beat the Philadelphia Eagles, you could pretty much put it away.
I mean, that is complete.
I I completely agree.
And I think, uh, news stations like ESPN and Barstool and stuff like that or other news stations, even unwrapped, will say, Wow, the Eagles beat the Green Bay Packers.
Are they going to be the playoff team at the NFC East and are gonna be hyping up these playoff talks when I'm like, Hold on, hold On a minute.
You see people are still gonna be ahead of them.
We're gonna lose a bunch of games.
You still have a top schedule.
Let's let's hold on the brakes for for a sack before naming the Eagles is the NFC playoff team, so not Onley will the Packers season be done and people will downplay the Packers.
But people will a play the Eagles.
Yeah, I think you don't want that.
I think you're probably a situation where just give us a top 10 pick.
Yeah, let us draft the linemen.
And what are the odds that that this has ever happened? You know, the Eagles in the running for a top 10 draft pick along with winning their division, and they could win it with less than seven games.
Yeah, Now, I mean, it doesn't look as bad as you would think.
I mean, we played the two toughest divisions in the NFL, and I said this on one of the unwrapped teams that we played the NFC West and the A F C North, all which have pretty good teams there.
The two toughest divisions, in my opinion, in the NFL.
And we're not doing terrible against the division, but we're not doing well either.
So if we can really win these division games and maybe win one or two non conference games, I think we could be a I think we could be the playoff team.
And we look at in history is passed.
The two teams that have won a division below 500 The 2011 Seattle Seahawks went 7 to 9, and the 2014 Panthers, who went 781 actually won their home playoff game.
So records don't matter if you make it to the postseason any given Sunday as possible.
So we could be looking at a situation where the Eagles, somehow some way, have a terrible record.
Yet they host the playoff game.
It could have a good chance to win now.
Granted, in those two times that has happened, there were obviously fans in attendance. You know, beast.
Quake was born when it was the Seahawks.
And when the Panthers played the Cardinals, it was pretty much know Carson Palmer.
His A C L was Tor, obviously, those playing a different perspectives.
And if the Eagles do make the playoffs, this won't be the playoff atmosphere in Philadelphia.
I'm pretty sure Ben knows as well.
Billy fans are rowdy.
Billy fans get wild whenever their teams, they're in the playoffs.
They don't care who they're talking.
They'll talk all the smoke.
They'll thrash all all the road players.
They'll thrash their own players.
It gets crazy in Philadelphia now.
There won't be any fans in attendance, but you still best believe if Philadelphia gets the playoffs, get into the playoffs.
Whether it's with or without fans, traveling to the link is a different animal.
Yeah, but let me say something.
I mean, the link is just something different.
I mean, being there myself for all these playoff games, it's really tough for opposing teams that here and really communicate at the link, especially with our rowdy fans.
Well, in the city of Philadelphia on.
Fortunately, we are going back to shutting things down again.
And there most likely will be no fans of the link, making it way easier for these opposing teams because they can hear again.
And you're not really having that atmosphere of Philadelphia like you normally would.
So I think that it could play huge advantage for the road team because now you just have to face the actual team instead of the fans as well.
Look at all these layoff quarterbacks to I'm sorry, Matt, look at all these playoff quarterbacks, like if if if the playoffs were to start today or tomorrow, you'd have Baker.
Mayfield has never played in a playoff game.
Kyler Murray has never played in a playoff game.
Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen more so.
Lamar Jackson have a lot to prove in a playoff game.
Carson wants Aaron Rodgers.
Are, you know ones that I can think of.
I'm trying to think of the other content like teams that are like in contention for the playoffs right now.
Brady, um, Jared Goff That's fought so like you have.
You have, of course, what Russell's but like you have almost half of the quarterbacks, though, that either have yet to play in a playoff game or have so much to prove because Josh Allen people.
Josh Allen, I think, is one of the most slept on quarterbacks in the NFL because of the people who write him off.
Because of that shelf performance last year and early in the season, he was putting himself in the M V P race.
I don't think he's not gonna win it.
I think it will be, um, I think it'll be my homes.
I think it'll be between my homes and Rogers.
I think Russell Wilson um, for a while, I think that was his to lose.
But now I think Russell wasn't his lost it.
You're starting to see struggles.
Exactly. He's lost.
He you're starting out.
Um, but, I mean, the bills, Air Strong team and the bills.
I think they're gonna be team to be a team for a while now that the Patriots, um, might be done being consistently competitive or, you know, divisional.
Um, winners for a while.
For a few years, people are gonna consistently write the bills off the map.
Yeah, a lot of people forget.
Buffalo Bills are 83 the Buffalo Bills are eight and three, and a lot of people are sleeping on the Buffalo Bills.
The Buffalo Bills have a good chance to actually win a playoff game for the first time in over 25 years.
They might actually have a chance 20 playoff game this year, and not a lot of people are talking about.
A lot of people are talking about the Steelers and the Chiefs and whoever is in the A F.
C South Steelers.
I feel like a split in half, though, too, because they don't play anyone, and they played the Ravens with a trace.
McSorley and RG three.
So they didn't have Lamar playing.
And they did play Tennessee pretty pretty well when they beat them early. Wells.
Yeah, they played Tennessee, but, like even Baltimore the first time to when they have all the tax's two games out of all the other ones that they played 11 and office as they've nine games that they played absolutely nobody, Um, I, for one, still think I think the A C title game is Steelers Chiefs.
Um, my friend said this and I agree with them.
I think that she's seven easier route to the Super Bowl than they did like than this year than they did last year.
Um, because the NFC this year is not as strong as it was last year.
But I do, I think, in a F C team is gonna win.
I don't think Drew Brees is winning a ring.
Another ring ring in his career.
Hey, broke like 12 bones in his 11 ribs, 11 ribs, 88 on eight on one side and three on the other.
I think his career is sadly done.
Um, and now I think they're giving Taysom Hill a shot to see if you can do it.
And I think this is the season where, um, he's gonna start proving the Sean Payton and his game against He was Atlanta like, two weeks ago.
Um, he went off.
He played very well.
And I've always said Taysom Hill can win you games, but not a quarterback.
I've never been a believer in Taysom Hill being a guy that could take over a franchise, but, um, I mean, if he show I'm rooting for Taysom Hill, I've never had anything against Taysom Hill, but he's got a lot to prove because that's the big shoes to fill, Not just the quarterback.
What, you're taking over for Drew Brees.
Um, and I don't think it's gonna be Winston.
I think Winston's gonna go leave and get another contract somewhere else.
Um, I think the Patriots should get him. It's nothing.
Cam's gonna be there.
Guy, Um, I think, um, I think some would do very well in a, um, in a Belichick system.
I don't think he'd be elite by any means, but I think he'd be a quarterback that be good enough to win the football games I don't think he he wouldn't be the Cam Newton the way Cam Newton is right now.
Um, but another I've I've said this to Matt to like a team toe.
Watching the draft to make some noise for a quarterback is the sense.
The Saints are definitely team to watch out for in the draft.
Then you make you make good points.
Like NFC team does definitely have have a great chance to win the Super Bowl this year.
I mean, even the NFC as well, like you're the Saints.
When Breeze comes back, you know, if he does, you okay.
Even the way how Taysom Hill's play, I think they'll still be fine without Breeze.
I think I think what the States will probably do is just simply wait until breezes, like 100% ready to go, not rushing back like, Oh, just because we need you in the playoffs, Bob thing.
I don't think he's playing in the playoffs.
Even even even the thing with the Saints is, can they replicate the regular season success and a postseason success? What the sayings remind me of are my favorite baseball team, the Los Angeles Dodgers before we won the World Series this year, it was hard watching the Dodgers in the postseason.
You're in and you're out successful regular season when the division, but they would choke in the playoffs.
That's what the Saints have done the last three years.
They've made the postseason.
They've had fantastic regular season records, but every time they make it to the playoffs, they'd find a way to choke in the playoffs.
Whether it was the Minneapolis miracle in 2017, where all Marcus Williams has to do is tackled digs and they're in the NFC championship game do the state's going with Who will that year? I don't know.
That Philadelphia Eagles team was something special.
That was a storybook team.
I don't think they go that far, but you best believe in 2018 if they would not have missed that call.
And if the Saints wanna have messed up in overtime, you best believe they would have won that suitable.
I'll tell you right off the Saints make it Super 53.
They would have beat the L A Rams, they would have beat the Rams, and Breeze would have retired as a champion in 2018.
Now a lot of people want to say the ref screwed over the Saints, which they did.
You don't you don't that That should have been a P I call, but the ST still had a chance to win the game.
You still could have held the Rams to not have a field goal to force overtime.
And you have the ball first and over time.
So there is essentially no excuses for the Saints.
You are given ample opportunity to win that game, and you chucked it away.
Even the same situation last year against the Minnesota Vikings.
You're playing against a six seed Vikings, and you're 13 and three at the Dome.
You fall down 20 to 10.
Granted, you come back and force overtime, but your defense lets you down with one time.
Marshall Lattimore isn't in the game.
Kirk Cousins throws a deep ball to feeling, and you're inside the five.
Two plays later, it's Ah, it's a mixed mismatch, kind of play between believes Kyle Rudolph and Williams, obviously both hands shoving back and forth.
Rudolph wins the match game over.
People want to save his offensive p I.
I'd say it was a good note call.
They're both fighting for the ball but Saints This year, this could really be the final right with Brees, especially with that ribs injury.
This could be it for the Saints if they want to try to make a run with Drew Brees.
And that's a big if, because NFC teams are very good this year.
Grieving Packers are a team not not to sleep on.
We've had some bad losses, very bad losses, the Vikings, the Colts and the Bucks.
Where I would play.
That has been very bad, but you best believe Aaron Rodgers in the postseason with how opponent this offenses.
This offense is so much better this year than last year's office.
Toe watch was a disaster.
Because you've got one or the other, you've got either good or very bad this year.
This offense is fun to watch.
I love watching this offense.
I look forward to watching this offense.
I love watching this.
The kit THAT doesn't care.
I see him on the Pat McAfee show, just having a blast, telling it how it how it is.
That's the end. Roger that.
Green Bay's the team not not to sleep on.
Even Seattle is well, even though Seattle's defense is very suspect and they're pretty much pretty much relying on Russell Wilson if we're being if we're being brutally honest, if Russell Wilson can cook, they win.
If he doesn't cook, they lose that.
That's pretty much how the Seahawks are going.
I mean, look at when the Seahawks have lost.
When they lost the Cardinals, what happened? Well, not a bad game.
When the Seahawks lost to the Rams, What happened? Russell Wilson did not have a good game.
And what what was the other? Was there other loss they had? They had another loss as well, but it was once again well, Wilson didn't didn't have a good game. It was about the Bills.
There's the Bills, Will Wilson and have a good game and then lose.
So you know we'll see what happens.
It's definitely going to be.
I'm going to be an exciting, exciting rest of the regular season.
This is the time where the contenders separate themselves from the Pretenders that we 13 to 17.
That's when you get to see who really wants it.
How badly does the Green Bay Packers want the number one seed? How badly do the Eagles want to claim the NFC least? How badly do they want it? That's that's what's going to be the thing and this game, and even for the rest of the teams in the NFL going down the stretch.
How badly do they want it? Because I'm telling you right now, whoever wants it, they're gonna play the hardest.
And that's even that's even with with this game.
Doesn't matter what the record is.
Doesn't matter that Green Bay's 18 3 in Philadelphia's 371 Whoever wants it more is going to take care of business this game, and I will conclude it with this.
Do you guys have anything else anything else to add? Special special guests? Ben, You go first.
Do you have anything to shout out or anything to add on? Yes.
So for the Eagles again, this is a This is a big game, and I we had a catchphrase after, uh, Super Bowl year hungry dogs run faster and, uh, sticking with the underdog theme that we had.
I think that really applies during this game, and I believe if the Eagles want it bad enough and execute to the best of their abilities that they can win this game.
However, it is unlikely.
