I'm Matt Williamson, with yard barker here to talk about the Washington football team coming to Pittsburgh to take on the Steelers after having their originally scheduled Thanksgiving night game moved to Sunday, then to Tuesday, then finally toe Wednesday.
The undefeated Steelers now take on a Washington a battle of for two first place teams, actually, on Monday at five o'clock Eastern.
So the scheduling continues to be a little crazy for Pittsburgh.
The football team has won two in a row, and even though they're four and seven, they've only been outscored by two points this year, a 25.
0 yards per play.
Only four offenses are worse than Washington, but the football team's defense only gives up just five yards per play amongst the best in the league.
Without question, these are two of the best pass rushing defense is in the NFL right now.
Uh, Washington has an outstanding defensive line and are averaging 3.
3 sacks per game on Lee.
The Steelers are better than sacks per game or on the other side of the ball.
Pittsburgh is at the top of the league, and the football team is at the bottom of league in sacks allowed.
But it must be noted the Pittsburgh did lose but the pre last week for the year, which would be difficult to make up for you having an excellent year, Um, in terms of turnovers that favors Pittsburgh in a big way in this contest.
But Alex Smith is rightfully known as a conservative quarterback that rarely puts the ball in harm's way.
Terry McLaurin was far, in a way, Washington's top receiving option, and he dominates the production in this passing game.
He's a great receiver.
Um, Antonio Gibson is an immense talent, and he's taking over the Washington backfield.
He, too, is getting a lot of touches, both as a receiver and runner.
His stock is really soaring.
He's also getting.
He's getting a lot more involved in the passing game.
The Steelers, one of the most difficult defense is to run on in the NFL and allow the fewest points per game in the entire league.
Opponents are scoring a touchdown on just 17.
5 of their drives against the Steelers.
That's the lowest rate in the league.
Pittsburgh's first down offense has been a big unreported problem for them, this year.
But the Steelers first down defense is incredibly good, which sets them up fairly well to rush the passer on later down.
The Steelers offense has benefited from excellent started fuel position and done quite good on special teams when they and they do a very good job possessing the football, even with little running game.
Washington defensive line gets, um, gets most of the attention, but their government have been quite good.
This year is well, especially against slot receivers that affects juju Smith Schuster the most.
After playing Wednesday in a game where they made far too many self inflicted mistakes, the Steelers will be operating on an odd Wednesday to Monday, short week.
Still there clearly the better team.
I have Pittsburgh winning this 1 27 20.
I am Matt Williamson with your bar, okay,
