Oh, I know you're tired.
E No, you're hurting E.
I wish I could say something that was classy and inspirational, but that just wouldn't be our stop paying heels.
Chicks dig scars.
Glory way shotgun, D C.
Dig on the center, on the center.
Ready! Hit that thing hit that way.
Hit that thing! Hit that thing! Keep coming! Keep coming! Finish, lady.
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome into another episode of the Bills guys presented by Buffalo fanatics.
My name is Steve Mathis.
You confined me as always on Twitter at Judge Mathis.
And I am joined, as always by my co Steve Hilton.
You can find him on Twitter at Tilt Money.
And Dave, guess what? Tonight? Uh, no competition.
No competition tonight.
We That's a lot of pressure.
Were the only thing left to give people any kind of keep us in, like law and order is for you.
I think they're the only things on today.
I can tell people are missing it because we had a lot of people in the in the chat room early, so people were wondering.
So let me go through who we got, Ryan.
Teel was in here like 30 minutes early, having everyone smashed Those like Sergio Chavez and I were chatting beforehand.
We've got Anthony Green.
Zach Allen is in here.
John Mitchell, P.
J ty Got a regular bar.
Scott, one of our contributors from BF is in.
Um, Sean Munley is in.
Travis Senate. Mark Bloomquist.
I don't know how you mentioned him, but we've got We've got a lot of people already in the house and more on the way.
So thank you, everyone for joining us.
Yeah, we got it.
We got a full slate tonight, guys.
I know there's, ah lot of pressure on us with No, there's and a football to compete with.
So we got Z Bob who will be joining us in about half an hour at 8. 15.
And Jeff Landers will be joining us at 8. 30.
So we have a the full BF crew.
Yeah, my Raiders pick last week was not too hot, so Oh, e I pulled the Raiders out of the bucket.
I mean, it was like, Oh, Atlanta? Yep.
Like, yeah, and it's who it was I jinx the Raiders, so I guess it helps the bills.
But I will say this Wednesday night football is like the NFL's version of action.
That was, uh that was rough.
Uh, and hey, we gotta make sorely.
Thank you for the super chat kicking off the show.
Let's show the Niners the power.
Yeah, we, uh we will We will do that.
And but, yeah, Wednesday Night football.
The thing that was tough for me is like, you know, I know it's already tough for you because you're in Arizona.
It was a 3 40 Eastern kick off, and I was still working.
So, like, by the time I'm done working, it's like, Like started the fourth quarter midway through the fourth quarter, ready? And then I like, kind of look at the box score and someone like the scoring place, and I'm like, it doesn't look like I missed a whole lot here, so didn't seem like a great game.
Yeah, I'll tell you what.
Like I was watching the game on my phone while I was finishing up the day at work, so I had the Children on one screen.
I had, uh, my presentation on another screen, and then I had my phone with the game on.
So I was triple tasking there.
But then, once to 30 rolled around.
I was free to watch the rest of the game, but quite ugly.
And the biggest trend on Twitter yesterday, at least within fills Mafia, was that maybe the Steelers are a pretty winnable game, and maybe the Steelers aren't all their cracked up to be.
What are your thoughts on the team that we play next week? That could be, what, 12, you know, if they beat the Redskins heading into the showdown on Sunday football inside Bill Stadium.
I mean, I think it was the culmination of like them being in the spotlight on Wednesday night.
Again, Um, you know all the talk about how they were complaining about the game being rescheduled in like so I think a lot of Bills fans just felt a little salty about that, considering like the the stuff we went through with Titans game.
And then, obviously, you got to feel bad a little bit for the Broncos on the other end for their game not getting moved, Um, given their situation, but talking about the Steelers, right? There was a lot of stuff on Twitter today, I think One of the best graphics I saw it.
I don't know who originally put it up, but it was like the Steelers wins.
Like they just went down through the schedule and they showed who they be and by how much.
And you start like, going through it, and you're like, man like that.
That wasn't that great.
And you kind of put out a lot like the Bills.
So you look at and you're like, Okay, the Titans, that one's one stands out to me.
Um, you know, uh, not the Titans, the Ravens, The first Ravens game.
They played right where, you know, Minka broke up the play in the end zone.
And obviously, last night there was no Lamar Jackson.
So you look at their schedule and you can say like, Well, it's been an easy schedule.
But again, the counter argument that we always make is you can only play who's on your schedule, right? So we will find out in 10 days how riel, Both like way.
Believe the Bills aerial they beaten some very good teams is here, and we'll see how real the Steelers are.
We know they struggled against the Cowboys to finish that game off.
They struggled last night against the Ravens with RG three and McSorley.
They've struggled against other lesser opponents throughout this season, so it's very difficult to win and style points don't count when it comes to record, but the style points short count when you're kind of sizing up the opponent and whether or not you feel like you could beat them the next time you go out and play them.
So we will find out I want to give.
I want to give Pittsburgh a little bit of a benefit it out because we saw how, um, that schedule shifting affected the Buffalo Bills.
But that being said, what really stuck out to me was the way the Baltimore Ravens, Justice Hill, Robert Griffin, the way they were able to run on them, and a one of the biggest stories that came out of that game to me was, um was but Dupri tearing his A c l, um, TJ Watt no longer has that other big pass rusher on the other side of him in that defense, which is going to drastically change.
I think the way they play defense.
I mean, they're still very good with Watt and Hayward and Hard Hargraves and Minka Fitzpatrick and Joe Haydon like they have a lot of talent back there.
But but you pre helped them do a lot of things on the defense by having those two elites edge guys on both sides of that 34.
So that's gonna be really interesting to see how Pittsburgh responds to the loss of Buddy Pre.
But let's jump into the Buffalo Bills at the San Francisco 40 Niners in Arizona, A little bit of desert redemption.
We got Phil gone coming in again.
If we beat the Chiefs in the playoffs, we would it all.
I agree with you and Tonto me.
That's the That's the mindset that I think we as Bills fans have to start thinking about, like as we close close in on the playoffs, the mindsets gotta be.
What does this team have to do to click to not only make the playoffs, but once they get their win some games because We're in a Super Bowl window these next two years, and it's unfortunate that were in the middle of the Super Bowl window in the middle of number one, a covert year and then next year in the middle of what a year That's gonna be salary cap health for just about every single team because of the lower salary cap.
So that's unfortunate, but we'll worry about that this offseason.
But as always, we're gonna go through here.
Me and Dave are gonna go through a couple of topics.
Then we'll be joined by Z Baht.
If you guys want to talk about stuff, throw it in the comments section.
As always, the Super chats get priority.
If there's something you wanna talk about, throws a super chat, let us know what you want to talk about, and we will cover it.
But right now we're gonna start with what is the biggest reason for optimism in in terms of the Bills versus the 40 Niners.
What gives you the most hope going into this game are in the fact that we're the better football team.
What gives you the most optimism heading into this game in the desert gives me the most optimism is where their two main things we got out of the by.
We got that wind coming out of the by.
Got the bad taste out of the mouth from the two weeks later after the Fail Mary.
Right? So that's number one.
Probably less important now that we got the win against the Chargers.
The second and probably more important reason why I'm more confident in this game is just the lack of star power the Niners have due to injury.
Right? They're missing Bosa.
They're missing Kittel. They're missing Garoppolo.
Um, you know, they've got Richard Sherman back. I get that. Deebo.
Samuel pops up on the other report today, right? So the Niners are definitely a less healthy team at this stage in the game.
And the bills are as the Bills are getting healthier, we'll see what happens with Milano this week.
Um, the bills are as healthy really as they've been.
Are appearing to be as healthy as they've really been all season and coming off a win.
Obviously the Niners are coming off a win, too, so I don't want to discredit that, But the bills top to bottom just are healthier right now and the injuries that the Niners have had to overcome this year and don't get me wrong.
Kyle Shanahan's done a great job with that kettle is a guy that we would struggle against, I believe right and whatever you want to say about Jimmy G.
You know? Sal Cappuccio made a comment about how he's been following the Niners beat reporters, and some of them are on the Mullens camp, and some of them are in the Jimmy G camp.
I'm sorry, like I would much rather go up against Nick Mullins than Jimmy Garoppolo.
Like Jimmy Garoppolo is a better quarterback than Nick Newman's.
Like I don't care if Nick Mullins is dinking and dunking it down the field.
He he's not as good as Jimmy Garoppolo.
Okay, so the system quarterback and it's the perfect system that he's in with Kyle Shanahan.
But so for me, it's the key.
The key personnel that would really give the Bills problems.
We saw Nick Boss's brother wreak havoc on us last week, Joey Bosa.
So if Nick Bosa was there, I'd be worried.
More worried, the forest bunkers gone.
He's an indie and George Kittles out.
So for me, that gives me some degree of confidence.
Obviously, we'll see what happens with the bow, and I You will be back.
So those were those were tough guys to contend with.
I would say, overall, the confidence is because of the personnel, the injuries for them.
We got we got a regular bag.
Joshua Barrett Haven't seen in a while.
He says, Don't worry about Kyler Murray.
At least this time, Judge.
Yeah, trust me as much as you know, I talked about Tyler this offseason being out here in Arizona and and, uh, getting to see him firsthand.
Um, I've done a full 1 80 since the start of the regular season and seeing Josh Allen getting closer and closer to that ceiling.
So I'm definitely, uh you know now Joe Burrow is like missing a leg, so I would definitely I think Josh Allen, number one on this list.
Now he says, Do you like Garoppolo to me? He's right about the same as Nick Molins.
He's a little souped up version of Nick Molins.
They're both West Coast system quarterbacks who just happened to be in a good situation with Kyle Shanahan.
But what gives me optimism is I want to read off some names here.
Um, Josh Allen is gonna go daddy mode on the Niners, and we're gonna talk about that in a second because I think that's gonna be the key to victory.
I think that's gonna be the key to victory.
Thank you. Again filled with super chat.
I think that's gonna be the key to victory.
Is Josh Allen throwing the ball 40 50 times? But But we will get there, and it's a It's all right, Josh, we know we understand.
We start a little earlier than everybody else in the off season.
Will be back to nine o'clock, though, but I want to read off some names.
Uh, Ezekiel Answer.
Nick Bosa, Jonathan Cyprien de Ford.
Uh, George Kittle Uh, Jacquizz tart, Jamaar Taylor, Solomon Thomas These air all of the players that the San Francisco 40 Niners have on injured reserve like it's insane.
They have some some elite talent.
Like we just saw what Joey Bosa did to us.
We don't have to face Nick Bosa this week when a team is this depleted.
As good as the 40 Niners still are with this roster that they have, because I think they're starting finally starting to turn the corner, and the players that are playing are starting to get comfortable.
They're coming into their own, which is scary.
And there were very well coach.
But the same time when that is what the injury report looks like for the other team and they're starting their backup quarterback, you can't lose if you wanna be a playoff team.
If you wanna be a Super Bowl team, you can't lose this game if you're the Buffalo Bills.
To me, this is a scarier game than the Chargers game.
And to me, this is one of our biggest test of the season because the next topic we're going to talk about is our biggest reason for concern.
And the biggest reason for concern for the Buffalo Bills is just how good the San Francisco 40 Niners are in the trenches.
They beat the L.
A Rams at the line of scrimmage, both on offense and on defense.
They just worked that team at the line of scrimmage.
It wasn't even close, and that's a team with Aaron Freaking Donald and if they come out and they do that to the Buffalo Bills, I want to see how this team responds to a team that's his physical, as the San Francisco 40 Niners are.
Because I don't think we've seen a team that physical in a while since probably New England eso.
And here's the really interesting.
Here's another reason for concern.
Uh, you're not Sean McDermott's not coaching against Anthony Lynn this week.
Sorry, he's code he's going up against, in my opinion, one of the best young NFL coaches, Uh, best young coaches in the NFL in Kyle Shanahan.
I think he's a You could make the case.
I think he's a top five coach in the league.
You know, maybe that's a little high, but this isn't Anthony Lynn.
He's not gonna make.
He's not like every coach makes questionable decisions.
I get that, but he's going to have far and fewer questionable in game management.
Um, hiccups in game management, head scratchers in game management, weird wasted, time out type things happening.
Then we had the luxury of dealing with last week with Anthony Lynn, the wasted time outs, not knowing whether to send the field goal unit on whatever it may be so up front, you're totally right.
The trenches are a concern, but I also think from a just a head to head coaching standpoint.
Kyle Shanahan is, ah, great coach.
And it's going to be an important game for McDermott to not get outcoached by Kyle Shanahan.
Because if he does get outcoached by Kyle Shanahan, then he might lose this game.
And that's what happened last week.
Kyle Shanahan's got Sean McVeigh's number.
It's a divisional opponent, obviously, so they're very familiar with each other.
But he's had a good track record against Sean McVeigh, who also, um, is well regarded in the NFL is one of the better young coaches, So that's another concern for me.
Not so much for the for the Bills themselves in a vacuum, but the concern off.
You're going up against a better coaching staff this week, and you did last week with Shanahan and Robert Sala, who's now kind of put himself into the into some short list for head coaching candidacy jobs next year.
Then I would be You've got to respect those guys.
Yeah, Robert Salas starting to look like McDorman junior over there in San Francisco with sort of the way he coaches the bald head, the defense of styles a little bit.
But Brooks says, Let's be honest.
The Niners have an All Star I R t.
They have some very good players, and I are just much, and I missed two of them on their physically unable to perform list.
They have Ronald Blair, who is a very good rotational defensive end in Western Richburg who was supposed to be their starting center this year.
So that's two more guys who would have been players for this team.
And you know, a really good comment here from Matthew Montgomery about the Rams they were missing.
They're all Pro left tackle last week, and that's true.
But guess what? Our offensive line looked really bad and pass protection last week. Really bad.
Eso ItT's gonna be really interesting fellow coming in again.
We always appreciated Philip, he says.
All the national media is picking donors.
You know what good they were picking the charges last week.
Keep Buffalo a secret.
Buffalo versus everybody in my right.
It's That's what I want to see the Buffalo Bills doing.
I want to see the Buffalo Bills keep exceeding these people's expectations.
Everyone expects the Buffalo Bills to Buffalo Bill.
That's what they expect.
The national media is like, Okay, they're eight and three.
At some point, Miami's gonna turn it on.
They're gonna take the lead in the division and the Bills, they're gonna fall back, their schedules so tough, Like they're playing all these teams. Like the Bills.
They're gonna fall back the bills, they're gonna fall back.
It's We're gonna take the Chargers, We're gonna take the Niners.
We're gonna take the we're gonna take the Cardinals, like every single week.
They're picking against us because they feel like that's the week we're gonna slip up.
Yeah, but we haven't slipped up yet.
And that is, um, you know, kudos to this Buffalo Bill.
See what we did slip up to the to the Cardinals.
But, you know, that was elected play at the end of the game.
To me, we only have two losses this year. I don't consider that a loss.
I just consider that I want to forget about it.
Philip says screw respect only gets his 1st 500 yard game on Monday.
Well, here's the thing.
And we're gonna get to this when? When Z Bob comes on in about 10 minutes.
Offensive game plan.
Uh, I think this is a team.
If they're going to dominate the line of scrimmage, I want you see what the Pittsburgh Steelers did.
Thio the Baltimore Ravens yesterday where they were.
Just throw, throw, throw.
Quick, quick, quick, Spread them out.
I think I'd like to see the Buffalo Bills spread out.
The San Francisco 40 Niners defense really spread them out.
Challenge the safeties.
Get Cole Beasley matchup on the linebacker.
They're nickel corner.
Williams was the Onley riel starter on the injury Report with a DNP today.
Feed Cole Beasley.
Get that dude like 20 targets This.
We just iso Cole Beasley on the nickel on the safety on the linebacker and let that boy eat.
Let's let's make this the Cole Beasley game and let's get Josh Allen 40 50 40 50 Throws this game because I don't know how much success.
Despite the fact that we fixed it last week.
I don't know how much success we're gonna have on the ground against a team that's pretty stout along their defensive line, even with all the injuries.
Well, and let's not forget the stud in the middle there with Warner. Right.
Um, empty green lawns.
Green loss Really good, too.
So, like, yeah, those some of those runs that, you know, Singletary was taken off left tackle.
Moss was taken about, like, some of those you know, those are gonna get closed down a bit more this week.
I would think with the likes of Warner and in Greenland, your green while You're right.
Um so I like that because if you spread them out a bit, you kind of, you know, let's say you go four wide.
You spread them out a bit.
You kind of take Warner not out of the game, but you you take him out of, like, what he's best at, which is sideline to sideline, taken down running backs and sideline to sideline covering tight ends and the like.
So I like that idea.
And let's Yeah, we still have to respect the players they have because although you just ran through that All star IR lineup, they still got some good players on that team.
There's a combination of things.
And Philip comes in saying the Niners corners aren't good.
Feed our receivers.
I mean, you gotta Sherman him.
Jason Verrett is having a pretty good season.
They still got Jimmy Ward back here.
But here's the thing about the San Francisco 40 Niners defense.
It is thin after their starters.
There are a lot of names that maybe you haven't heard off.
So if I'm the Buffalo Bills, not on Liam I throwing the ball of tin.
You know what the Buffalo Bills need to do this week? Tempo.
Don't let the 40 Niners sub get those guys tired because, like they're starting defensive line is Kin Law Street, Haider and Armstead.
But behind them, it's Kevin Givens and Dion Jordan.
So if you could get those starters tired, if you could work those starters in the tempo and forced guys like Givens and Dion Jordan out of the field, you're gonna have success behind Richard Sherman and Jason's Red.
It's Dante Johnson, former Bill alert, and you know Emanuel Mosley, who I think was also on the injury report this week.
So it's Ah, spread the defense out.
Throw the Baltin go tempo and really put a strain on the San Francisco defense because I think there's a lot of areas you can attack them, especially in the slot.
Yeah, and that's something that the Rams did not dio last week.
I mean, they were like they were there.
Tempo was slow all game.
I know Cam makers kind of broke out a little bit, but Jared Goff, you know, never really got into a great rhythm during that game.
I think, honestly, if you want to talk about you know how we go from, you know, maybe jump like kickstart Josh Allen Tempo is the way, right.
Like, let him start, let him come out and sling it like 10 times.
Yeah, let him cook and let him swing it like 10 times to open the game if you like.
We're thinking that this is like a 40 passing attempt type of game.
Then the tempo to me is a nice way to kind of get that going.
P J talk says, get Croft back in.
Yeah, I mean, well, here's what I'm going to say about that.
If we go and we're looking at the inactive list on Monday night and we'll be live from 7 to 8 on Joe Miller, Clay, TROIA and Zieba will be covering the 6 to 7 hour and we'll be joined by, I think, by Jeff Landers.
So we got you guys covered on Monday night before the game.
But that being said, if we get the inactive list at, like seven o'clock or 6. 30 whatever.
And Tyler Kroft is on it and Lee Smith is active, I'm gonna I'm gonna start to be scared because it's gonna be one of those ugly game.
Sean McDermott is going to try to win it ugly.
I want to see that if you're gonna talk to talk, walk the walk, Brian table, we strategize every game to beat the opponent that we're playing. Whatever.
Our opponent is weakest that we beat him.
This is a thin defense.
This is a defense that you're gonna want to spread out.
Bring Tyler Kroft in inactive Reggie Gilliam, who I think was injured with a hamstring or Lee Smith.
Pick one of them.
Inactivate them. Bring Tyler Kroft back.
Beasley gave Davis worked at the field.
Maybe even get you Crumb row involves well, John Brown's not on the injury report to start the week as well.
Well, he's on IR.
Oh, yeah, I forgot about that.
He's not on the injury report because he's literally on injury reserve, but yeah, I know it's tough.
But speaking of that, speaking of IR, there are two players who could be back this week in Matt Milano and Tyrell Dodson.
Our defense could be getting scary Good at the right time.
Can you imagine? Who would have thought would have thought? Right.
Who would have thought? Who would have thought that? What's that? Paul? Rod, I wish I had the video clip.
I should have saved that.
Paul Ryan. Look, that's what I thought. Not may.
Um, yeah, I'll get that video clip so we can use it in the future.
But you don't have announced you just have my terrible impersonation.
But could you could you imagine? Could you have imagined, like, five or six weeks ago? A world where okay, we get Matt Milano back.
We get Tremaine Edmunds in Matt Milano at this to every down linebacker spots, and we get to just let a J.
Klein loose on the defense and Lorenzo Alexander role.
If somebody would have said that to you five weeks ago, what would you have said? Like it's It's absolutely insane.
Player of the Week Devens.
Kudos to a. J. Klein.
When I think about a J.
Klein words, words like this words, words like this come Thio.
That's how I feel.
That's how I feel when when we talk about a J.
Now talk about a 1 80 from the beginning of my my old takes exposed Would would be would look really bad right now, but in my defense he was bad for, like six games.
So So So you know, at the time, I felt pretty good about what I was saying, you know? But you know what? Kudos stage A client like you said, because he's heard it.
I'm sure he's not.
You know, he's knows people are a ragging on him.
He has to write, and he he's been put now in a position where he's he's doing things that are suited to his strengths, right? He's coming straight at the quarterbacks.
He's taking better angles to cut down some of these running plays.
He's not asked He's not being asked right now to play a lot of coverage, which is great and that that makes sense, right? Phillips says.
Milano Edmonds Client Best linebacking corps.
I wouldn't go that far, but you know it, Z That's the thing with the Bills Linebacking corps, though, like before the season started.
I said, Well, if clients just a strong side linebacker and he's only playing like when we're in our traditional run sets on the Golan on special teams, he could be a decent piece and it turns out that that could be true, like maybe he turns into into a game breaker.
But the problem with our linebacking corps has always been this, and this was the issue.
Our starters, Air Good Milano and Edmunds, the two of them together, they're great.
They're some of the best in the league when they're healthy and both guys got hurt.
So now if we get Edmonds back healthy, Edmonds is looking healthy Milano.
Hopefully, he comes back healthy.
Soon you have a decline, going back to maybe his more traditional role now as a Sam linebacker and Tyrell Dotson, who looked pretty good filling in.
I'm not gonna say he looked great, but he played admirably.
Now is your fourth linebacker who can play all across the line all across and and multiple different linebacker spots.
That's a good four linebackers tohave heading heading into the playoffs if they can stay healthy.
But that's always been the thing.
Kyle Wilson comes in and says, Um, Dodson, Milano split snaps.
No, I think it would decline in Milano.
That would split snaps as much as I think.
Doctoral Dotson flashed.
I think the injuries pushed him from having a chance to really be a factor on this defense.
Unless there are injuries.
I don't think there are plans.
Toe reinstate, um, to reinstate.
You know Tyrell Dotson in this lineup on defense, like there would be a Matt Milano on keeping a guy like a decline If a J.
Klein was still sucking ass.
I think that that would be a consideration, but he has really turned it around.
Uh, Matthew Montgomery.
Yeah, that is the comment. Right there.
Klein is drinking, Brian Winters needs to start drinking it.
And that miked up with Sean McDermott.
Sean McDermott pulled the offensive line aside, he pulled the offensive line aside and he said, like, Listen, you guys are the best five.
Go out there and show it.
Did you say that? Or did he say like, give me your best five or something like that? Meaning, like five like their best, like five minutes of play or five minutes? No, I think he meant that.
They're the best five.
I think Buck is gonna hear that this week could be extra motivated.
Well, maybe Maybe that was all by design.
It's the process, right? Yeah.
Ryan Bates has gotta feel super disrespected, but Phillip coming in again, Philip er, every pizza night, he says.
Biggest issue is the corner opposite a tree right now, and that's what's really interesting about this defense.
Leslie Frazier has has fundamentally changed what he's been doing on defense.
We have been blitzing the **** out of people, and we've been blitzing.
We have been blitzing good quarterbacks and young quarterbacks and making them feel anxious and making them feel nervous in the pocket.
Now the issue that that that we've been blitzing a lot and trusting our guys in the secondary and the ball has to come out quicker and it's really worked for us.
But the question now becomes, Is that gonna work against San Francisco? Because this is a team that can run the heck out of the football when they want Thio.
They've had a lot of injuries that running back this year.
They've had a lot of injuries along their office of line, but Kyle Shanahan is the best offensive coordinator in football.
It's Kyle Shanahan and its Bill Callahan and probably built for them as well.
Yeah, Bill Belichick, when it comes to running the football, those are the three guys you look at as like the elite of the elite elite play callers in the NFL when it comes to running the football Kyle CNN, Bill Belichick and Bill Kelly.
So the fact that we're going to go up against those guys, they're not the greatest running backs in the world.
But Erin Quinn from Cover one, pointed out like they hit the whole fast.
They hit the whole heart, and that is something our line struggles with.
You saw Austin Ecker with that quick burst the couple of times he did run the ball.
He was running it right through our defensive line.
So it's gonna be a challenge to figure out what we're gonna be able to do against their running game, because if they can run all over us, then it gets a little scary.
Um, got Sergio Chavez, fellow fellow desert native here coming into the Super chat, he says, Does having Milano, Milano, Emmons, Klein help us play more based defense and a little less nickel, possibly making our Runde a little more stable? Yeah, I would agree with that wholeheartedly.
And that's something we're gonna get Thio when Ziebart gets on the line here in the next couple of minutes because we're going to talk about what we need to do on offense and what we need to do on defense.
So it should be super interesting.
We're gonna have bought join us in about 30 seconds to a minute.
We're gonna 111 last super chat here from Philip Dog.
He says the real M V P of bills Mafia is Brother Bill.
I agree with the man is a treasure.
He he's making regular appearances on Buffalo fanatics every Saturday with Jeremy and Max over there on bills overdue, and before we get bought on Randy Harmon.
You just hit the whole hard and fast, like 13 kids or something like that.
Travis Henry, Story E.
He was manscaping before all of us, apparently.
He was manscaping before he was manscaping.
Before we were even born Travis Henry was manscaping in the womb, as that is the story of.
All right, now that I've put that image in all of your head, we're gonna welcome in, Ladies and gentlemen, we are gonna welcome in the one and the Onley.
Zach, about how you doing tonight? Set up, fellas.
I just saw that video prior to coming on.
Laughed, laughed my ass off.
That was absolutely the clap clap like cycle throughout that that video was fantastic.
I need to ask you something, man.
And this is not This is not intended.
Thio offend you at all.
Has anyone ever with that means it's going to offend me.
Has anyone has anyone ever compared your your voice to Farrell from Pharrell on the bench? You know who that is? Go look up.
Some clips of Scotty Farrell.
He's like a famous radio.
Yeah, Everybody okay? No, no, no, actually.
And Pierre and Rico brought up when I was on with them, because when I first started with the fax back, like a couple of years ago, I couldn't do anything without somebody saying that.
And it was getting to the point.
Oh my God, yeah, it was getting to the point where it was like I had some some people getting ****ed about it.
It was like it was It was weird.
Good, though it's so good, I think it's a choir.
I appreciate it.
I think it's acquired.
But yeah, Phillips Phillips got it right.
I don't even get my mom loves it that much.
Truth be told, I will say this.
I never I didn't know that that had had happened, that that was just me right now saying that No, till I think it's hilarious because I mean, like, if you don't embrace it, it's whatever.
You say that because the other day somebody said it when I came on again and I I hadn't looked it up. Wow.
So me and my dad have like a very similar voice, and we cued it up on YouTube on the TV.
We were dying, laughing for like 15 minutes straight.
It's so spot on. And that's the thing.
But his is almost like me on steroids.
Its's Yeah, yours is listenable.
His his like like it's like, really doesn't look like he sounds either.
It's like it's super strange, but he looks like he kind of looks like a like Tony Hawk a little bit.
He kinda has, like, that skater, skater guy.
Look, I'm just saying I'm sitting here having no idea who this person is.
Just I'm afterwards.
Yeah, you anyway.
But you are getting quite the following here.
The people have been since I put in the banner that Ziebart will be joining us in a 15.
They have just been clamoring for you.
You are the hottest name.
You are the hottest name in Buffalo fanatics, you and Claire that you and clear the hottest commodities in Buffalo, fanatics. J.
Spence gave clay a shout out and like like I haven't heard from Jay like Jason's has never once given me a compliment.
I'm like, **** Clay must be killing it, man, But, uh, Scott coming in, we'll start this.
We'll start this session with you bought with the super chat from Scott.
So thank you, Scott, he says.
I was just watching NFL Network, and they were given the predictions on who would make the playoffs.
They give Buffalo 91% chance with who they have left on their schedule.
I think that's based on record.
Uh, teams they have.
They have that woman, Cynthia Freeland.
I think she does the ****ytics bit.
My guess is that would be the ****ytics, uh, the ****ytics person.
The Bills really do like they're in the driver's seat to make the playoffs right now.
It would take a massive, a massive.
It would take a massive collapse for them.
Yeah, for them not to make the playoffs.
We're talking all the time collapse.
If they don't make the playoffs, it's gotten to the point where I don't even consider that in the realm of possibilities.
I can't imagine it and going down the line here.
You look at the games, watch Pittsburgh yesterday, right, and I'm thinking to myself the entire time, there's no way the bill is loose to this team.
I don't know who I'm watching right here.
There are 11 to know.
I tune into Coward like I do every day, and he's a guilty pleasure.
My I know it's E.
He's my favorite and he opened up the show and he goes all you people in Pittsburgh with their terrible towels ready to cry in them.
There's in a Super Bowl team.
I couldn't agree more.
They have beaten now four backup quarterbacks, and they have not looked impressive against a lot of teams who are struggling to feel a team in general.
So I look at the rest of the way here That game doesn't necessarily concerning.
I think we win Monday, although I think it's a tougher game and it might look on paper and I don't think we lose to Denver, and I think we probably get the best new England again.
The way they have been playing in Miami at the end, I think will probably be, you know, quite close, depending on what it comes down to.
But to even consider the bill is not making the playoffs.
Uh, at this point, I just can't even I can't fathom you got a chat here from from fellow Gong.
I don't know if you have Children around cover your ears, but those will embarrass Niners and Steelers back to back weeks on national TV.
Joshua, I'm gonna win this man keeps Wong for the nation to see.
I love that, Philip. Thank you.
Well, this is This is a point for the Buffalo Bills.
Like this is redemption time, right? Because we had this conversation before you came on where the national media is just waiting for the Bills to collapse.
They all picked Arizona.
And even though Arizona one on the Hail Mary, it's whatever everyone picked the Los Angeles Chargers.
Everyone is picking San Francisco this week.
Everyone's waiting for the Buffalo Bills to collapse, and they haven't done so.
And I think a lot of the reason for it was the Bills found themselves in an unfortunate situation, playing Tennessee on that Tuesday and then having to go and play that rescheduled Kansas City game so they kind of there to national games this year came up a little short.
So now the Buffalo Bills get to go on national TV again.
They're on national TV, literally the entire month of December.
Every single game is on national TV This is redemption.
This is time for the Buffalo Bills on a national stage to sort of shut these guys up and show the nation that we are the new team in the A F C East, not Miami, and the Patriots are done.
Well, let's start right with that.
And I know there's a lot of Bills fans out there who are so accustomed the one o'clock schedule that they don't want anything else.
They don't want to go away from the status quo.
We need to bask in the fact that this team has arrived at the point where they're gonna be on primetime television for a full month straight.
And I remember when I was a kid during the drug growing up, if we had one BS Thursday night game, it was literally like Christmas came early when the schedule that was the courtesy game you had to have because they exactly every team had to have one, and that was all we got right back.
Then everybody got one, and I think, you know, I mean, we would get the courtesy Browns game checking today.
The Jets, of course, Yeah, the color blind game So I looked at this.
And what better indicator do you need to know that the bills have indeed arrived than to look at that schedule and say, My God, this team is playing four straight weeks in prime time and a season that they've looked better than they have in previous seasons all the way up to this one? So it's just the lineups. Amazing.
I agree with you and I'll say this.
The Bills better get used.
If they If I dare say that better get used to playing on prime time, and they better get usedto winning on prime time because winning primetime regular season games is probably the closest feeling atmospherically that you're going to get to before you get into an actual playoff game, right? There's a little bit more buzz.
There's, I mean, I get it.
There's no fans, but like playing in a prime time game is probably the closest thing you're going to get to the feeling of a playoff game.
And if the Bills want to be a perennial playoff team and they want to win in the playoffs, they need to expect that they're gonna be playing on prime time more than they have been in the past.
So this last stretch of games is really important, and I don't wanna be that team.
That's like, Oh, there ain't, you know, on one o'clock but their own foreign prime time, like we need to shake that as well.
Thes primetime games.
Phillip coming again Philip always appreciates his Bills versus Dolphins.
Week 17 will likely be a Sunday football flex.
Yeah, I mean, they they always I don't know if the Bills do their job.
I don't know if it will be a Sunday Night Football flex, but it could certainly be a four PM Flex because if I think the Buffalo Bills do their job, then you're not going to see this be one of those games.
Oh, boy, we have so many super chest cavity.
We'll get to my promise, folks, but you'll see that.
I think you'll see a Flex to four PM but the Buffalo Bills do their job.
Miami won't have a chance for the division, so it'll just be a game where Miami is fighting for like, a wild card spot.
So if if it's a game where Buffalo in Miami are playing for the A F C East and the loser gets like a wild card spot.
Um, either Miami got went on another heater with Ryan Fitzpatrick or the Bills epically collapsed.
One of those two things.
So hopefully that doesn't happen.
The Buffalo Bills do their job, but I still could see it being flexed toe like the main four PM game.
If it's like Miami loses their in the, they're they're in the air out of the playoffs or something like that.
But we got Scott coming in again.
We always appreciate you, he says.
Yeah, I watched the Pittsburgh game.
And to be honest with you, Ben Roethlisberger didn't look at Ben Roethlisberger in that game.
He looked rattled the whole entire game, scrambling, trying not to get sacked to me like I'm just gonna be completely honest.
I chalk I chalked 100% of that game up.
The way that the schedule was shuffled like Ben Roethlisberger has changed the way he plays quarterback this year.
He went from a guy who would hang in the pocket and he would take forever to throw kind of like Josh Allen, and he would wait for that big play to develop.
Now he's like Eli Manning, where he's just like think, think, think, think, think he tries to get that ball out as fast as possible.
And that was Pittsburgh game plan Throat a ton.
But you're throws were practically running place because Baltimore was so beat up.
They were playing a soft zone the entire game.
So I think that was just a game plan for Pittsburgh was just soft zone and and Ben Roethlisberger was just exploiting it.
And the Steelers.
I mean, they were ****ed off it the way they played because they let up a couple of big plays.
But honestly, that that game, despite how close it was, never really felt that clubs eso I don't know.
What do you guys think? Well, Steelers dominated the game, and they have settled three field goals, two or three field goals early on in the game.
They obviously missed extra point.
You have the big play to McSorley, so I agree with you, Steve.
I think the game never like score wise.
It got close there when the Ravens, I think, cut into what like 1914 or something or whatever it was.
And, um, but it never really felt like it felt like once the Steelers got up by more than one possession, that it was like an insurmountable lead.
Um, to me, that's how it felt to me.
I never really had any doubt that they were gonna win that game.
Um, they also had a couple dropped passes as well in the end zone.
So that game very easily could have been like Steelers in the thirties.
Ravens like 10, right? So, um, the score, as we know in talking about a lot of bills games this year, is not always indicative of kind of how the game played out.
It'll be interesting.
Yeah, it'll be interesting, too, because Washington, under Ron Rivera and with Alex Smith is their quarterback is just They're just a smart football team, like they don't make mistakes and they play solid defense.
So it'll be really interesting to see how Pittsburgh responds to the Washington football club.
Ryan still coming in and smash those legs.
Thank you, Ryan.
That's two super chest now and you're at the bar.
You said you're at the bar in a previous comment.
So we appreciate you watching us from the bar.
Um, he said He said He's got us on mute.
So he's just looking at our our beautiful faces.
I guess I don't know what's going on, but, uh oh, my goodness.
I don't think I've ever seen Ah, line of super chats like this.
Thank you guys so much. I appreciate it.
We got broke coming in.
He says national media needs to admit they were wrong about the bills.
And Josh Ellen, I'm still of the belief that the bills gotta prove it over these last over this month.
If the bills fall flat on their face this month, they're just gonna be right again.
And I don't want them to be right again.
I don't want the national media be right again.
It gets back to what Nate said, and we put on the Twitter thing Monday.
Like the Bills don't play to their ceiling as often as the teams like the chief.
So the bills play their ceiling more often than not these last stretch of games. They're going to be fine.
Allen will get that attention is likely to make the Pro Bowl.
He's not gonna win the M V P most likely unless something crazy happens.
But he can at least put himself, you know, in the top five ish conversation.
And if the bills, for whatever reason, like run the table or whatever, maybe he gets a voter to right.
But the key thing here is that the Bills need to finish the season strong and give every chance they get.
Give fewer and fewer reasons for people to doubt them into make excuses for why they either one? Because they shouldn't have or they lost because they expected them to.
What do you think, Bob have the bills already earned? Should they have already earned the respect or they still got to prove something? Well, I don't necessarily know if their respect has been earned to its fullest extent, but I don't necessarily know if the media has been hating on as much as a lot of people think.
I see the bills ranked in the top seven at the very least, in every single, uh, power ranking that I've that I've really looked at as far as the main ones.
They're concerned, and what I'm looking at what I see out of this Bills team week in week out.
From a media perspective, it's not necessarily that they're getting hated on. They just don't get a lot of coverage.
That's what comes down to the fact that the Bills are in Buffalo.
I mean, unless you are undefeated at this point in time, Look, Steelers, they're getting a lot of coverage in 11.
, and it's only because people think that they suck.
So it's very odd to get really positive coverage.
The only team that I see get that consistently is typically Kansas seven.
But my thing is, is the power rankings come out on like Tuesday or Wednesday or whatever, right? And there's really not like while the power rankings air fun and people talk about them when it comes time for these national pundits to put their money where their mouth is and make their game picks like the records people see at the end of the year and judge them on, um, they seem to be tending towards the other team, that it is the Buffalo Bills, but Philip comes in, he says.
Bill's path of Super Bowl Brown Steelers chiefs uh That's a pretty tough road.
So the teams got to get hot at the right time.
Randy comes in, says This is what happens when the rial America's team returns to prominence.
I would love absolutely love, uh, you know, the Buffalo Bills to be that team that every single every single year starts off like one o'clock one o'clock one o'clock, one o'clock.
But then, when December rolls around, when the holiday season rolls around, the Buffalo Bills air in prime time, that would be great game on ABC to both Monday night games That just announced.
So that means anybody who has even basic cable gets the Bills Game ratings joke.
Ladies and gentlemen, Speaking of ratings juggernaut, we are gonna welcome onto the show thehyperfix of the B F tailgate.
Jeff Landers himself will be joining us now.
How you doing, Jeff? I am. Good. Mic check.
How do I sound, fellas? You all right? See, I'm having been in the television industry for 10 years.
I'm so used to having feedback so I can hear myself in my own headphones.
I don't have that with my current set.
So I always gotta ask you guys what? I'm what I'm sounding like.
So how's it going on this? What day is Thursday? Right? We don't have todo no no competition and a Philips Philips coming in hot right away.
Jeff, you've inspired him.
He's feeling he's feeling the hot take.
Ellen won't be in the Pro Bowl because he is will be in the Super Bowl.
That's hot, right? There it is.
As much as the hot take is, I had I had packers bills this year.
Both sides still cling onto hope there.
You're still in playoff contention, but all right, Jeff, you came on for for a reason tonight and you're you're more than welcome.
You're more than welcome to stay on with us afterwards.
For the for the gauntlet that we're gonna go through, you get the bucket of death for us right now.
Right? I got the bucket of death bills.
Construction had actually pulled the e, pulled the safety harness out of the hat.
So it's an actual construction hat.
My dad's a little more.
Jiggles it up a little more, I think 1996 colt Bills.
He didn't take me with him, so I guilted him into buying me this from the stadium.
So I have, actually, Well, I mean, it's sat in a closet.
I'm not a construction worker.
Otherwise I would have used it.
Eyes that Is that construction ready, though? I don't know.
OSHA is that OSHA? It is.
Actually has a warning label here.
Uh, I can't read it because it's so small and imprinted, but it is an actual construction hat that could be used on a site, so wow.
All right, if you don't know the rules, Here we are. Way.
Pull a helmet from the hat and you're trying toe win.
Like you want to pick a team that's going to win.
I just randomly picked the ramps.
Okay, So the Rams this week, they are at the Cardinals on Sunday.
Well, we'll see.
Maybe I could keep that or I put it back.
And then I've locked into my second pick.
We got seven guys from the BF tailgate on Sunday mornings who are participating.
Now, here's the standings.
And regrettably, Clay is number one at four and one.
Last week, he had the bills two judges in second place.
He's also foreign one.
What? First loss? What's the What's the tiebreaker there? Because his name was better before mine.
No, Just because you're judge, you come in second behind Claire.
Also play is Ian Rappaport.
Have you noticed that if they need Ian Rappaport to do something dangerous of this vocal chords, they call Clay TROIA number three Tilt.
You're in third at three and one.
Last week you had the saints, Mitch.
He hasn't picked in a while.
He is two in one, so we're gonna pick for him tonight.
I'm in fifth at two.
And to Zach, you're too, and, Oh, because you joined late and only have two games in your to and, oh, you're down in sixth and nap.
Yeah, map is in seventh and last place at one and three.
Last week, you get stuck with the Broncos.
So, uh, and for the for the guys who are not on with us, we get to pick for them tonight.
What does that mean? That means we get to go season ticket holder drew gear petty on those guys and try to get the jets or the lions or whoever else we think is going to lose.
So we get to go petty on those guys, and how should we do it? Should we pick for nap first and see if we can get him the Jets? Or should we? Should we give play? I'm gonna go bottom up.
So picking first four nap and we'll have to come to a consensus.
So I'll do the picking and it'll be the three of you voting so we can have an odd number.
Thio break Any ties, Nap going first and out of the bucket of Death and Allah look it away.
And the Rams, the Rams at the Cardinals.
What do you guys think? That's a tough one.
That's a 50 50 game.
My opinion, I say.
I say, give him the Rams.
I think the Rams will beat the Cardinals, and I kind of want I know you wanna give Napa win.
Well, here's the thing.
It's like 50 50 game like I like that.
I like nap and he's in dead last.
And if it's a 50 50 game, that's better.
The better chance than he had last week with the Broncos.
So let's just you just last week.
So let's just give it to him.
Let's give him the Rams.
I mean, I love naps, but I Seriously, I think we should try for the Jets or the Lions.
You're right, actually.
Throw it back and he gets the Jets.
That means we won't have to get the Jets, so yeah, throw it back.
You put the hell back in.
Yes, the Rams go back in.
He could pick the Rams again.
It's like the next thing he picks once he like.
No, no, nobody else can picked up.
Oh, yeah. Throw it back, in a way.
Are being Drew Gear Petty tonight? Bengals and the Bengals have the Dolphins.
No way will be rude anger nap toe win.
We will be rooting for nap toe win, but yeah, way Brandon Allen is gonna get murder.
All right, Zach, you are too, or no.
You've joined the party late.
Here you go, buddy.
Out of the bucket of death.
He's got a mirror of top.
He's looking into it right now.
Yeah, I wish I could be your up top.
You have the Stiller's on Pittsburgh.
Yeah, I was the Washington football team.
I will stay with that.
They're going on to feed it into the Buffalo Games.
So I will stay with that. That's alright.
It take for Zebo out there.
So your next Jeff, right? Yeah, I am. Next.
I'm two and two on the season there.
Really? We haven't decided on any prizes.
Maybe we get toe Post Rico show if I can convince him of that.
But let's see here.
Oh, f that the Shaggs.
Jags State Doug Marone.
What? Looks good.
I mean, they are playing the Vikings like you have been kind of hot lately.
They have been out of here.
No, I gotta throw it back out of principle in Doug Marrone.
I'm gonna quit on you Jags helmet.
Oh, there we go.
Could be in their hosting the Broncos on Sunday Night football.
The Kansas City Chiefs.
Jeff had the Chiefs helmet outside the bucket E If I were gonna cheat, I would have pulled the bill's helmet.
Okay, Fair enough.
Okay. All right.
We are picking for Penn State Mitch tonight who has not picked in a while.
He is too. And one.
How about the Detroit Lions and the Lions air at the Bears this week? Who bears air money? Mitch? Money. Mitch.
So we've got it for Mitch.
We gotta sticking with lions.
Yeah, You gotta stick with the lions.
You have been voted on the Lions.
Till your turn, buddy.
Alright, way Got an easy one last week with Saints Arizona Cardinals, Cardinal.
They're hosting the Rams four or five Eastern.
You just said you thought the Rams were gonna win.
I don't want to risk getting like the Jets of the Jaguars, though, so I think I'm gonna I think I'm going to stick with the Cardinals.
I'm going to stick with them.
You're gonna stick with it.
You don't want to put it back.
No, I'll stick with the cardinals.
The cardinals till it goes with the cards.
Judge, you are up.
You had the Raiders last week.
Gave you your first loss on you stuck with him.
That was my first pick and I stuck with him.
I thought they could take Atlanta.
The Denver Broncos going into Arrowhead E hope Denver comes out again.
Denver through all of us.
Remember that? Remember that? E bucket? Casey was so confident they were gonna beat Atlanta.
I stuck with him and they screwed me.
You have no confidence in Drew lock or brute ripping.
Not against Kansas City.
Not against Patrick Mahomes.
Go through for 800 yards in the first quarter last week.
All right, here we go.
Judge the Dallas Cowboys on they.
Where did they go? The Ravens and yeah, that's on Tuesday.
You are locked in on Tuesday Night Football, and Lamar's gonna be back for that one, I think. Right.
So they need to start Garrett Gilbert.
They need They need to put aside their pride on They need to start the A The what? They call the A f l uh, M v p Garrett Gilbert on the radio.
They gotta start mixed Harley.
So he looks like he's got the highest passer in the NFL as of week 13.
Get him in there.
Oh, maybe bending versus McSorley.
Alright, because Ben DeNucci is worse than Kendall Hinton.
According to Jerry Jones, Jerry Harry Jones went on a local Dallas radio station and said the Dallas Cowboys, playing with Benvenuti a quarterback, was the same as the Denver Broncos playing with a wide receiver and quarterback.
Holy **** like, How do you as an owner, how do you as an owner do that to your own players? E.
I walk out of that building? I would if I were Mike McCarthy.
I'd walk out of that building.
He's gonna be walking out soon. Probably.
That's what I'm thinking.
All right, we are picking for play.
He had the Bills last week on.
He is in number one in the standings.
Number two in our hearts, the Chicago Bears.
And they have Detroit.
We stick him with the Bears.
I think you stick play with money, Mitch.
I think you stick play with money, Mitch.
I think I'll be interesting.
I want to see Clay.
Troy, I have to root for money.
Mitch, What do you think, Tilton? Zack? Yeah, I mean, the bare stink man.
I think the Lions could win that game, but they're both Those teams are both terrible.
So I think that should just be an ugly game, and I think what? Who is it? Is it nap that had the that had the Lions who had the lion's so much? Mitch.
Okay, so Mitch and and Clay go head to head.
I kind of like that.
Let them go ahead.
You don't want to try for the Jets? The Chiefs air gone.
The Steelers air gone? No, because he could get, like, the Bills or somebody really good and clays in first.
So we gotta at least maybe hedge a little bit and go with the team that could lose.
Like the Bears could lose that game.
I don't know these guys.
If you guys, if you guys disagree, we can throw it back then but guarantees one of them lose to you want to stick them with the bears? Totally unanimous.
We're sticking him with the bears.
All right? We are sticking him with the Bears, and that is our bucket of death for the week, fellas.
Um, yeah, I wish we would have started at the beginning of the season.
The standards will look a lot better.
A lot more ****led maybe, um thoughts.
Thoughts on the game on a bucket of death game, I should say, I like it.
I'm not happy right now.
I have the same record.
Is Clay I lost after Clay, and yet I'm somehow in second place, not tied for first place.
All right, I'm going to go deep psychological issue on you right now, and I need you because I heard your comments on your podcast from earlier in the show that you hate John Murphy.
So I need you to describe.
Let's go, judge.
Why? And what about John Murphy that you hate? All right.
So number one I used to work at Monza is in Orchard Park, right? And three orchard.
The Orchard Park elite would come through Montas in Orchard Park.
Sammy Watkins tipping twenties.
You had like, ah, bunch of built Ray.
Ray McCloud was tipping to at least five.
Like there was some solid tips from Buffalo.
Also fumbled punt.
Jerry Hughes Would hook would hook me up with, like, twenties.
Um, John Murphy, John Murphy local select.
What was local celebrity John Murphy that do **** and singles? Like I get, like, 23 bucks from the man to three buckets.
What was in his pocket? I will come to his defense.
Local media makes crap money.
He works for the bills.
He's a broadcaster.
He's not even he's not even a coach. He's a broadcaster.
Even the man won't even make eye contact.
He was just like all right.
Just dropped his keys, Like on the ground in front? Not really, but he doesn't look like he's missing any meals.
I will tell you that there's a psychological pro, uh, psychological principle called projection that what you don't like about other people might be actually what you don't like about yourself.
I'm guessing what you're describing about John Murphy is what you don't actually like about yourself.
You are in second place.
I am a great tipper.
No. When I go to a restaurant.
Okay, So the typical tip is, what, 20%? Right? At a restaurant.
I always tip 30 because I worked in the restaurant injury injury industry.
All throughout my twenties, I always tipped 30.
I always tip 30%.
Even though I can't afford to 30% I always tip 30% I, as my favorite, make you have to tell me where did the audio from that come from some, like pastor laughing about laughing about Joe Biden winning the election.
It sounded like maybe a ****led prices, right? Bob Barker.
Somebody took that video of that priest and play guitar riff over it.
You have gotta watch it. It's unbelievable.
They turned into a death metal song, and it's It's must listen.
Uh, almost say is number one.
He's a lousy tipper.
He's no Van Miller.
I do not like the way he calls a football game.
I think it's very generic.
I think it's very bland.
And number 31 Bills live is almost unlistenable.
Like it is almost unlistenable.
I can't I can't even listen to one Bills live.
But I guess it again, like I have immense respect for Chris Brown because Gris Chris Brown, despite the fact that he, like, literally, is working for state state run media.
He's working for the Buffalo Bills.
He finds a way to toe that line and give you credible takes.
John Murphy is just the biggest homer, like over the top.
Andi Yeah, Lone Wolf says he was rude to callers.
He's extremely rude to callers like I've just I've always had a problem with John Murphy, but do you think he gets into the Ring of Honor that he's got it right? Because Van Miller is right there by the time he's done, he's got to go right next to him, right? I don't know about that one.
You don't think so.
It's been he's been there for decades.
You have to think dumbfounded, Judge.
You look at the look at the look on judges face.
You have dumbfounded him with that.
He's gonna be at the game and watch his boy, John.
If you get into the ring of he's ****ed, Look at him.
You're gonna have to send their as John Murphy gets a halftime speech from Chris Berman like he did for Thurman, as they put as they put John Murphy into the ring about it.
I can't even like that.
That thought never crossed my mind.
I thought never crossed my mind.
Let's get some more positive vibes here, going Realm and Nancy, calling the Super Bowl this year on its way, haven't got a Tony Romo game this year.
E no good man. I like him.
I like How is nobody given paying Manning a blank check? Yeah, I know. He said no.
He turned down 18 million for ESPN show.
I don't care what it takes.
He's gonna be a general manager.
He's gonna be a general man.
He won't go broadcasting.
I bet you he goes.
You think Dallas You think you think Jerry Jones gives it up for Tony, not Jared.
Wait for Tony Romano.
It's a good question.
I think Jerry likes himself from Jerry, so he doesn't want anyone on the spotlight on anyone else.
The McCarthy is a perfect coach for him, cause McCarthy is like the least spotlight herbal coach there is.
Spotlight remain Hung. Jerry.
Judge has Dallas this week.
Okay, I'm never against rooting for any Dalton.
The man got the bills to the playoffs. He broke the drought.
That seems to be in the Ring of Honor and I'll die.
I'll die saying that.
I say that I don't have a presence on this show, has turned it into Bailey of sorts.
And you guys were on a hot streak with the super chats coming in.
So let's get it back on track.
I'm gonna take over your show for a second, push you guys to getting it back on track to the game.
And I had an ****ogy that I wanted to use because I'm a Yankees fan.
I grew up a Yankees fan mid nineties.
Everything, Um, there's the pick off move by Andy Pettitte.
Is border line illegal? It's almost a buck, but it is elite.
Okay, Andy Pettitte's pick off move is elite.
The Bills running game does not need to be elite.
It needs to be the lob over to first base just to keep the runner honest.
If the Bills can use their running game, just to keep defense is honest and make sure that they're not playing.
Josh Allen's arm just just lobbed the ball over to first base.
And if you pick off a guy every once in a while, you're great.
If you get a Singletary or Zach Moss to break a 15 yarder every once in a while, we're going to keep the defense's honest so we don't need the Bills running game to be an Andy Pettitte pick off move.
We just need to step off the rubber and throw it over there so that they know that we're watching them lead off first base.
But it can't be Jon Lester in the playoffs, though.
That's gonna throw it away.
I'll tell you what.
I like that ****ogy because you know if if the Buffalo Bills throw the ball like I said 40 50 times a game and they could really get that that passing game going like they have and the running game steps up its like give Devin Singletary 68 carries a game, gives Act.
Mosque 68 carries a game if they can average five yards a pop.
You got yourself.
You're pushing yourself towards 100 yards rushing a game without even running the ball that much.
Eso just the threat of the running game and you get big plays from the running game.
Obviously, if we're leading and controlling the ball, give the ball to Zach Mosque. Compound the rock.
But I'm totally with you.
I think this team needs to understand what it is, and we need to pass the ball.
The ball this year didn't seem like it was forced.
On Sunday, though, they ran the ball more than it was 100% of beating.
But that shouldn't be the case.
How would you want the Bills out running the pro game in any game, no matter what the situation is? Tyler Kroft was a healthy scratch in San Diego.
Secondary isn't even that good.
Like Josh could have thrown for more than 100 57 yards like that.
Game played was literally pregame, too.
Yeah, that game plan with situation.
Well, the key play was absolutely ridiculous.
They started Lee Smith over Tyler Kroft, and they ran the ball way more than they had to you.
If you're the Buffalo Bills, you should never run the ball on first down.
You shouldn't unless it's like, unless it's a random draw, play every once in a while to throw the defense off.
You should throw the ball on every freaking first down because that's where your big place come from.
That's where your chunk plays come from.
You even see a lot of these plays.
The Bills run to dump off, so the running backs the dump offs to Cole Beasley.
The dump offs to step on digs.
It's almost like an extension of the run game.
Call those plays on first down, you don't have to run the ball on first down.
And if we have to run the ball on second down and 10 again, I'm gonna blow my mind like you see, that's what I'm getting at that that to me, it just tells me like, How do you not over a span of, however, many games realize that a run on first down, off tackle for one yard is going to probably be the same result on second down.
When you're on the exact same play, It is the most frustrating thing to watch out of everything that they dio by far my point on it.
Philip going says, Stevie Johnson should run one Pills life.
Yeah, well, that would be That's not a bad idea.
Z bob, When you were just what you were, you know he does.
What you were just saying is exactly what I was saying Monday, which is if you run the ball on first down and you pick up one yard or even two yards, really, what is the difference between second and eight and 2nd and 10 tell me there's no difference.
So wouldn't you rather give yourself a chance at second two or even just get the first down on first down and then give yourself the option than to run the ball on either like 2nd and 4th, 3rd and 2 or third and one that that, to me, seems like the recipe for success for the Bills? Kansas City against Tampa Bay? How much did they run the ball? Not a lot.
Not a lot, Right? They have Clyde Edwards hair and leave Ian Bell, and they really didn't run the ball that much in that game until the very end.
So you don't have Thio.
You don't have to kind of follow that traditional mindset of run to set up the past.
The Bills air now a past team to kind of mix in the run.
And that's I mean, there's only been two games all year from a running standpoint where they really kind of forced it. And that was the Patriots.
That was this last game. That was it.
Otherwise, it's been passed pass happy past first most of the year, and it's worked.
They also against Kansas City, and it didn't work at all.
That was probably a game of the year that was Rashid Turner comes in and says, where the bill's chances of being the Steelers.
I like the chances a lot if we throw the football.
But then again, mixing the run.
Like I said, Justice Hill had a lot of success.
Uh, Justice Hill had a lot of success.
Robert Griffin had a lot of success, But you don't want, like, you don't want a game plan where everybody sees it coming like you don't want a game plan where everybody sees coming about Phillip coming in hot here.
I'll take Mosque, become the next Lynch.
I love Zack Moss, but I don't know if he's the next Marshawn Lynch I'm or Travis Henry.
I'm on the Travis Henry train than yeah, that makes sense.
What do you guys so, um, issue? I have that I noticed, and it's something that to do with the wrong game, and I just think it's going to eventually happen, and we're all gonna be incredibly regretful of it.
Alan should never have nine rushes again, the way he and it's because of the way he runs. He refuses.
Let the play die.
And as we saw the other day, if you watched that replay, how he got up and walked off, I have no, I haven't a clue.
But his inability Thio and I think it's the biggest flaw is to not let the play diets the reason he threw the pick against the Chargers.
He just doesn't go down.
What your guys thoughts on nine runs plus a game.
Seeing the way his run style is, knowing that he's always going to take probably, ah, clobbering hit by the end of it, I think I think he's more likely to get injured on the play.
You mentioned where it was a pass play, and he's trying to extend it and trying to force a pass out of there and trying to escape the pocket, maybe and get a pass out.
Then he is on, like a design run play or a scramble run play.
So the nine runs a game.
Yeah, we probably don't need that.
Especially we're gonna be passed happy.
As much as we say.
We're gonna be, um, 5 to 6 probably is okay, so to me, I'm not so worried to much as much about like some of the place where he's definitely gonna run or he's scrambling outside the pocket or like the play he scored on where he dove to the pile on.
It's the ones where he's in the pocket and he's got guys around his legs and he's got guys around him and it's a passing play and he's trying to get out of there.
And then he decides at the last minute, Hey, I'm gonna try to throw it away.
I'm gonna try to go out of here.
That's those are the ones that worries me the most where I think he's most susceptible to get hurt.
Listen for me, it's not about the number of Russia's.
What I thought about Josh Allen the other day was he's got to keep his head.
I know in the video we've all seen it.
Sean McDermott McDermott came over not to scold him, but just to say, Hey, if you get another one, another unsportsmanlike conduct penalty, you're disqualified.
Just don't do it again.
I'm okay with it.
He has to keep his head because the Mo Mentum was all on Buffalo's side.
He got the touchdown It was all there for Buffalo.
And then he spun the ball on sportsmen, like, 15 yards.
That was the moment, um, shift right there.
You've got me calling him San Diego.
Now, Judge. Thank you.
Los Angeles comes down next, Dr scores the touchdown.
And then what happens? That going to the fourth quarter, we turned the ball over three times within seven place.
It was the Momenta.
Um, swing, I think, is a leader.
Just don't do that.
You can argue that as well.
But he put himself in a position to get called for it, Okay? He doesn't do that at the feet of another player.
He won't get called for it.
Okay, Just keep your head.
Be smart, be a leader because it's it could be anything little like that.
That will swing momentum.
And we don't want to do that in these bigger games.
That air coming up? Yeah, I could say that.
We got we got a super check.
Only hear from Rashid Turner again.
Thanks for Should we appreciate it? Says I need being to fix both lines this offseason.
I couldn't agree more like and it's not.
It's not the line like I'm content with Jerry Hughes.
I'm content with Mario Addison, A J F.
Vanessa Daryl Johnson on defense, I'm pretty content with Dion Dawkins and Darryl Williams.
If we could resign him on offense, it's the interior of these lines.
This is what scares me the most, especially this week against San Francisco.
Uh, at Oliver is playing the one tech he's doing his best, but this is a team that likes to run.
The football scares the heck out of me that Quinton Jefferson and, uh, you know at Oliver are two starting offensive tackles, not because they're not good players, but because there's no big fatty.
And then on the other side of the ball, you know, um, you know, with guys like Armstead and guys like, you know, Ken Law, Thank you, Ken Law going up against like a Brian Winners.
And even guys like De Greenlaw and Fred Warner blitzing into a guy like Brian Winners who just looks lost all the time.
It's the interiors that really needs to get fixed.
We just need some more, I'm gonna say, before I'll say again, we need big fatties.
We just need some big fatties I don't care who they are as long as they're fat.
John Murphy, can we cut that out out of context, please? Yep.
Yes, I like my interior.
I like my interior offensive.
The defensive line Players like I like my women.
Big fatties e just visiting.
I'm envisioning John Murphy gearing up at right tackle right now.
11 take John Murphy.
E think he'd He'd have some more money to go on.
And he was playing on the league minimum.
I think he'd probably have a more coin to give him.
Got Dan Brown coming as well.
He says, honestly, watching the Steelers game yesterday, we could beat them if we play well.
Plus, Buddy pre is out for the year.
Yeah, we mentioned that earlier, Buddy Prius.
Such a big injury for them, man.
Such an absolute big injury for them.
I think that's going to really change the way they play defense because they're not gonna have those two elite guys on the edge.
And it's gonna be able teams they're gonna be able to tip TJ chip TJ Watt more.
Andi, I think it's really they're gonna be less aggressive coming at the quarterback, which is gonna hurt their secondary.
I really think that's just a huge, huge, huge injury for them.
I was just thinking that I think Judge likes the big Fatties because then he doesn't have to put the time in with the man scape that z sorry.
Had to go there.
He loves putting that time in from what I want to bring.
I want to bring this.
Guys, I wanna bring this up to you.
I noticed this the other day and it was during the Bills game, ironically enough, and it ****ed me off.
It just goes back to what we were talking about earlier about? Not really.
The bill is getting hate from the national media, but more so not getting any recognition.
Two already has a national deal with Villa.
He already has a commercial deal and I will stand during the Bills game.
And my first thought was, There's no way in hell this by already has a commercial.
I I think that dolphins, they're gonna draft a quarterback next year in the first round, so I just want to get your thoughts and when If ever, do you think of Bill? Maybe Josh, when he probably has the best chance, will get a national spot like that at some point.
Yeah, when When Bakers.
When Baker ST Barbe deal is up, I think Josh get that state from you.
Josh Allen has a personality to do those types of commercials that similar to the one the Baker's doing.
But I think where Josh Allen might fit in, personality wise is with with Pat and Aaron in those State Farm commercials, it's like a little bit of, ah, more drier humor they've got, you know, they're kind of resin on their agents.
And, uh, you know, Rodgers and Mahomes kinda got that thing going.
So I think if, um, I'll put it this way if the Bills kind of maybe do themselves a service in these national nationally televised games and they may be, they win a playoff game, that's probably that's probably gonna set Josh up for these two of the only reason he's getting this is because he is in Miami and he's famous from Alabama and that, like that's that's it.
That's the only reason, right? So I'm sitting here thinking maybe we could unretire BJ Raji Put him on the inside of the defense of line for you, judge.
And then hey, conduce, um, commercials with Josh Allen.
Cem Rajhi Some discount double checks.
Phil, Coming in again.
Cover your ears if you have ah, women and Children around.
But they have gone coming in saying fatties give the best you know what? Just like Fatties do the best on the D line And listen, I want like like I like I miss like, as much as I like to rip on star because the contract that he got like, I just want, like a big Samoan dude in the middle of that defensive line.
Like my so two of my favorite players in this draft where John Pente Seaney from Utah and Lucky Foe to From Utah, Tennessee, Tennessee Gnaeus, starting right now in Detroit and photo before he got hurt, was doing pretty well in Arizona.
Every team should have a big, like Samoan dude on their defensive line just eating up space.
I gotta tell you, I live out here in the mountain west, just about three hours north of Salt Lake City and the the Polynesian guys love their football and I couldn't agree more.
Just being around the Polynesian culture.
Um, they like to eat big time, and they like to play football big time.
So didn't the Chargers have a guy that was on hard knocks that was Hawaiian or Samoan, too? He was, like, under the bottom of the roster.
But I think he was, uh, they did the chant or whatever.
The dance before the game.
Yeah, I think he played for L S U.
Or is it one of the houses? They would they would be, Oh, let me tell you a story about the haka.
We So we had a local high school go down to play Salt Lake City High School when I was working in the TV business and I had my camera, uh, and the two teams lined up on their respective forties before the game to do the Hakka.
And I'm standing on the 50 with my camera trying to film each team, and I have never felt Mawr Energy rushed through me.
Then being in between two teams doing the haka, it was pretty intense.
Uh, Speaking of Hawaii, Dan lives in Hawaii.
He lives in Hawaii He is our RBF insider from the Hawaii Hawaiian Islands, he says.
If you want a big Simone judge, just come to Hawaii and you could pick one up on the street. So there we go.
Just let's let's let's all get our plane tickets.
Let's go down to Hawaii on Let's just start scouting.
Let's start scouting.
That's That's what I was thinking of.
Hawaii this year.
Got canceled for because of Covidien was kind of bummed out.
There's this new segment that I wanted to get to you towards the end of every show called the Preview Superlatives.
And this is just gonna end up being the marathon show tonight.
I don't know, Jeff, if you want to stick with us, you're not.
You're not like you're not prepared.
Actually, I did send you the show notes as well.
I don't know if you've probably I don't prepare.
That's what I do.
All right, so I have a couple of superlatives that I want to get you in preview of this bill's 40 Niners game, some topics I want to talk about the first one.
The first one has to do with this video right here.
All right, so the can you take me higher Player of the game? What Buffalo Bills star player has to play his best game this week for the Buffalo Bills to pull out a victory.
I shouldn't say pull out a victory cause we're the favorites.
But who has to play their best game for us to win, who we start there.
I'll start with you. But I'll start with you.
Cole Beasley and I think this every week.
And it's because if they target him and get him involved, they're virtually unstoppable on offense and again last week.
And it wasn't just called.
The entire wide receiver corps didn't get a ball thrown their way almost the entire first half.
He's didn't have his first catch until the second.
I just don't understand.
I mean, I understand that the emphasis of last week was to run the ball and I get that.
But I think it's even more effective to just get Beasley going in the intermediate game and we all know San Francisco has a really good d.
I really doubt the Bills get that bit of a run game established.
So you have Cole.
Beasley is able to establish himself in the interior like he's so good to do it, and the Bills actually make it a point of emphasis to get him involved.
You could very easily, while I've been packed in this game, we've seen him do it time and time again.
It just has to be a focus.
Yeah, I I said before, before you came on.
I think the bill's best plan of action on special teams this week I'm sorry on special teams on offense this week is to spread them out and go up tempo because there's not a lot of depth on that defense.
So if we can spread them out, go up tempo.
I think we could have a lot of success.
And number one Williams, they're Nickel Corner DNP today.
Their safeties are hurt.
Tart is out, so they're struggling with the depth.
That safety Colby's is a guy I target like 15, 16 times this game, like straight up.
It's just fecal busy the football.
Dave, who's your take me? Higher play of the game was the superstar that needs to step up.
I want to say Stefon Diggs.
I'm gonna leave that for for someone else.
I'm gonna say our superstar.
Yes, well, maybe not superstar, our star in the making player in the making that needs to step up this game and has been stepping up ever since.
The Jets game is none other than the Mr Striped himself.
And the reason I say that is the 40 Niners have a great kicker on their side of the field.
He's made the game winning kick last week.
I have a feeling that there may be cases in this game where we're not able to punch it in and touchdowns maybe a little bit harder to come by than they have been recently.
The Niners have 1/4 rank pastie.
I think that we may have to settle for some field goal opportunities in this game.
So I think Striped Bass himself star in the making, is going to have the nail every kick he attempts this week, and I'm thinking he's gonna have three field goals in this game.
How about you, Jeff? You know, I had to think about it, but what I went back to was what I said on the pregame show on Sunday.
It was a question.
Fill in the blank.
Who who are the Bills need Mawr from Blank? And it wasn't a bad the Bills need more from It was a good Jerry Hughes has been playing very well, and I want Mawr of that from Jerry Hughes.
The Bills need more from Jerry Hughes.
Can you take me higher? Uh, keep it going.
Can you go from an A plus to an A plus, plus plus.
Plus, let's let's just keep the foot on the gas pedal.
And by the way, I had to go back and watch the clip.
Ever since you debuted it a few weeks ago of the Can you take me higher? Because I do know what Dalla Former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader.
So I had to go back and research e had to go back and do research to find out what year that Waas to see if she was on the squad then.
But she wasn't so, uh, Jerry Hughes.
Can you take me higher? I like this comment from machine here.
He says, White face mask forever.
Yes, we never got to that today.
But white face master just be every week.
I don't know why we only have to do it once, so it should just be on everyday thing.
I'll never get over that.
But he says a J.
Klein needs to have a big game.
Uh, my original thought was Tremaine Edmunds for this was was for this.
Those guys and Shawn Sherman, I'm with you.
My original thought was was Tremaine Edmunds.
But then I thought to myself, Who in front of Tremaine? Edmunds needs to have success in order for Tremaine Edmunds to have success, and to me, this game is going to come down to the interior defensive line.
So at Oliver, Quinton Jefferson, Vernon Butler, Justin Zimmer, Harrison Phillips can you take me higher because you need to set the linebackers up for success, Whether it's Tremaine, Edmunds and a decline or or it's remained Hemmens Matt Milano on a decline.
You need to set the linebackers up for success.
This offensive line is gonna try to push you around.
The 40 Niners are gonna try to control the clock and run the football.
Kyle Shanahan is one of the best at running the football in the game.
So I'm gonna go with the interior defensive line at Oliver Quinton Jefferson, specifically because they are the stars amongst the interior.
That defensive line, Um, but it's mostly to set up.
As Shawn Sherman says here, Thank you for the Super Chat.
We appreciate it.
Because if those guys have a big game, Tremaine Edmunds will have a big game, All right, that brings us to our next superlative, our next superlative here.
And that is the wild card of the game.
Who is a surprise player who is going to make a big, bigger impact on this game that we expect.
All right, but we will start with you.
Who's the under the radar player that we're not expecting.
That's gonna play a bigger role this Sunday than we might expect.
We're not talking about him, and often he's had an unbelievable season.
It's going well under the radar because the Bills wide receiver corps is so good.
Gabriel Davis, This guy has four te's on the year, and I think for a rookie, I I have you taken away.
I think you're right.
There are a couple that have been taken away So it's been It's been an incredible year.
I think, for gave Davis, especially because he hasn't gotten a ton of time, either.
John Brown out and we had this conversation in length last week.
It's an entirely different offense, and I said that collectively, the Bills wide Receiver corps was gonna have to come together to try to fill that gap.
And I thought gave David was gonna be a big, big part of that puzzle.
And he felt perfectly had two touchdown last week and he had that unbelievable catch on the sideline.
So I think Gabriel Davis is one of those guys for the Bills.
That could really could be an emerging star.
And we're not talking about it enough because we have a wealth of talent on the Bills offense, something I know we're not all used.
I think in years past, Gabriel Davis would be one of the top guys.
We talk about the Buffalo Bills team, so I think, you know, going into this one, you don't necessarily look for game day.
Visto have a big game, but he definitely could call people in the comments section.
They definitely agree with you, but They also got Andre Robertson, Isaiah Mackenzie S O. That should be interesting.
Phil Gagne coming in this.
Ah ha! Take read.
Ferguson Touchdown on Monday e don't know what play the Buffalo Bills could draw up for.
Read Ferguson the score touchdown because he on Lee is the long snapper.
To my knowledge, he doesn't come in on the goal line packages or anything like that.
So unless just like a humble, risky type of situation, I don't I don't know about that.
I would like to hear the I would love to hear the official yell.
Yeah, Randy says My vote is for Duke Williams, and I like that because even though Duke Williams on the practice squad, I wouldn't mind seeing him called up this week and the Bills just going heavy at wide receiver and attack in the middle. That defense.
But there's Jake Rum Row.
Dawson knocks Tyler Kroft, Cole Beasley.
Duke Williams attacked them out of that defense attack.
The safeties, uh, putting gave Davison slot, which they've yet to do, but there's a whole bunch of different things I think the Buffalo Bills can attempt.
All right, Jeff who is your wild guard this week? Um, I'm looking at my board on my wall, and I haven't filled in the 40 Niners step chart on it.
It also I have a big, blank space in it, and it gives me all this option for Bills players and I You're like, You're right.
I I have not prepared.
I picked helmets out of a bucket.
Um, what about Saran? Neil at a big nickel against this offense against a Kyle Shanahan offense, he's gonna have to be versatile in order to play.
Uh, the big nickel.
We know this about him.
So maybe that is the wild card that we can get a a good performance out of that big nickel.
Dave, how about you? Who do you and I like to take, by the way? Because if we ate eight men in the box is what I prefer make Nick Molins beat you.
But, Dave, what do you think? Was that a man scape reference eight men in the box.
Anyway, um, I'm gonna go with So we talk about under the radar.
Jeff said, can you take me higher? Jerry Hughes as a star player who's gonna take us higher.
How about a guy who kind of made a little bit of an impression last week with his with this play over an inactive Trent Murphy? And that is a J F.
Vanessa on the other edge.
I know that Mario Addison is gonna be there.
I know that Jerry use is gonna be there.
But I think the the coach like Fraser speaking about EP Inessa after the game and how he's going to get more playing time.
And he's like what he's seeing out of him.
Out of the by, we're gonna start.
I think unleashing maybe not, is the best word, because we know we like the rotation on that defensive line.
But man A J F Vanessa if he could, like, make one play, all it takes is one play, a sack, something.
Um, you know, that's fine, but he's also going to be important in setting the edge in the run game.
I think you know that Shanahan loves to run those outside zone run plays.
You mentioned Steve the interior that D line needs to be to be sound, but EP Inessa on that one on the other.
You know, on the edge kind of feeling that old Shaq Lawson role.
Maybe so Those linebackers can fill down on those safeties can fill down.
I want him to be an under the radar guy that has an impact on this game like that.
He's he's probably pretty key in this game and shutting down that run got a couple of people saying Nobody said Brian Winners.
I have no faith in Brian Winners.
Uh, Thio help us out and I really like this.
This Matthew Montgomery's on a roll tonight.
Matthew, you need to join us on a more regular basis because I like this, he says, Are wild card will be whoever knocks down the hill.
Mary, we actually settle this on month.
We actually settle this on Monday.
It doesn't matter who knocks down the hill. Mary.
We just got to make sure we have a two possession lead.
Yeah, and Rachel Bush to comment on it.
If we have a two position lead, like even when you complete like he completed, he completed that pass and I didn't even care like I was just like Okay, whatever the game's over, it doesn't matter.
They're not going to get an onside kick and come down and kick a field or whatever.
And then they still managed to botch it.
Not even score points, but my under the radar, my surprise player guy coming under the radar.
Maybe this guy, You might get a little bit of run this week, since we're playing a team that is so run heavy, how about the man who still needs a different uniformed number? I'm not going to get off of.
I'm not gonna get off this train.
He needs a new uniformed number because it's hard for me to root for him.
But Number 61 Justin Zimmer, He made one big hey made one big play the last game that really stood out.
He made a nice tackle, maybe against a team that is so run heavy, a guy like Justin Zimmer could get some or run.
I think if a guy like Justin Zimmer is stout against the run and helps push that San Francisco offensive line a little bit, we can have some success.
And we got Rico coming in here saying, What's Rico got to say he's got hold up, I missed it.
Here we go, guys.
When Rico says things, you gotta listen to him.
So just smash that subscribe if you haven't.
And while you're at it smashed that Like, um, you know, when Rico speaks, we gotta listen.
It's the it's The cult of BF is led by, uh, Rico here.
So that brings us, ladies and gentlemen to our next target, our next topic.
And there's a couple people they've said.
Debo. They said Seen Brandon I uke.
I've seen a couple people talk about opposing players, and that brings us to our next topic.
I pure straight hate you.
Oh, but god**** it.
Do I respect you? What player on the San Francisco 40 Niners do we have to respect? What player? What is the player we most have to worry about on this 40 Niners team? Jeff, I'm gonna I'm gonna start with you.
I know you need a maybe a little bit more time to process, but I'm gonna put you on the spot here.
Um, you know, I was going to say Brandon, I you But I'm looking back through their depth chart based 43 defense.
And I see a name that I like at middle linebacker from BYU.
I just think he's going Teoh.
He's a very good middle linebacker, and that's what I have for you not having come prepared.
Sorry, teacher know.
Hey, I mean, he's They said a couple of weeks.
They said a couple weeks ago on Sunday.
Football like he's probably the second best middle linebacker in football Right now. That dude is a beast.
And if the defensive front in front of them, if the defensive front in front of them pushes around Brian Winters pushes around, UH, Mitch Morse.
Fred Warner could have himself a day.
Ah, couple people coming in.
Who? Where was it? Fire play fireplace and EMC said, Wait, this is a cult? Yes.
Don't drink the punch.
Don't ever, ever drink the punch.
That's all I'm gonna say to you.
Ah, couple people coming in.
A couple people coming in.
They got a lot of comments in the comments section.
We see most, er, I've seen Nick Mullins.
I think that might have been sarcastic.
Mike McGlinchey, Rick Richard Sherman How what do you think about who is your player that needs to be respected? Well, if 100% most.
They're not to be cliches.
I think everybody's thinking that.
But it's the truth.
How I was doing.
People forget they had lost four straight prior to the Rams game and the reason one in Rams game.
Because Shanahan just has phase number.
They've won four straight, but I also don't think it was a no disadvantage.
That was, That was the one game they got most er back in.
It was the first game they won in five games.
So, knowing the struggles the Bills can have in defending the D, I have a feeling.
But since Nick Mullins is Nick Mullins, I don't necessarily think he's gonna win the game himself most.
It's gonna get a very, very heavy workload against the Bills on Sunday.
I think it's gonna come down to whether or not the bills can contain them, and we have seen the Bills have the ability to contain contain good rushers.
To some degree, I thought the Bills played really well against Travis Henry.
Despite getting blown out in that game.
The Bills have the potential to play decent D against a really good runner.
He's this is one of his first games back, but I think he has the ability to impact the game toward the W like he did against L.
So out of all those players on a really injured 49 team, that's probably the biggest focal point for the Bills defense.
You said something in there that really stuck out to me.
You said defend the D And let me tell you, ladies and gentlemen, if you man scape, if you got it over to man scape dot com and get yourself some of these man scape products, no lady will ever try to defend your d get 20% off plus free shipping.
Using the promo code, fanatics head on over to man scape.
They truly are refining the gentleman.
Alright, Dave, that segue, Who is your player that needs to be respected this week? I was gonna say Deebo, Samuel, But given what we were able to do to Keenan Allen last week, I think that, you know, with Debo a little banged up, you know, it's definitely not a guy that we should forget about.
We should certainly respect them.
We saw we needed to the Rams last week.
He absolutely like torch them.
But we need to pay attention to Richard Sherman, and the reason I say that is because he also missed a lot of time.
But it was mentioning how moster missed ah games and they came back.
You know, Sherman gotta pick last week against golf.
And you know, Alan, if he makes that bad decision sometime in the game, if he's getting pressured, if he throws the ball up, you know who's going to get it.
It's gonna be Sherman.
He's gonna be there. He's always in the right spot.
He's always in the right spot at the right time.
Turnovers are going to be the name of the game this weekend against, you know, a team where I don't think we're going to score as many points as people maybe are projecting.
We will turn over if we do the same amount of like what we did last week with the turnovers.
We're in trouble.
So Sherman is a guy we need to respect.
I know he's older, but he's a smart player and we need to respect him and obviously Debo, it goes without saying we got we got a 40 Niners fan the chat.
Always respect the opposing team hopping in.
Hey, says Kerry Hyder, Junior hires a very under the radar player.
Uh, if we were doing the show about the 40 Niners, he probably would be my, you know, one of my under the radar players, because he's been a very solid player along the defensive line, speaking the defensive line.
I mean, he's a guy going up against Darryl Williams if he pushes Darryl Williams around, or if they try to run some stunts with him and, um, him and kin law.
It could be a long day for Brian Winners and Darryl Williams over there on the right side of the offensive line.
But all that being said, uh, we haven't given enough love to Debo yet.
I understand that he's been hurt all season but said, Hey, it's not a coincidence that Debo are that most ER comes back for the first time in four games and they win.
Depot came back for the first time in a long time from injury and played that game as well and he was really good.
He racked up like 30 points for my fantasy team, so I understand that he was DNP today in practice.
My guest is that is there just resting him because he's been injured? I don't think there's anything to look into in there.
I think he'll be playing on on Monday night, and that guy is just literally He could run the ball.
He can catch the ball.
He has a big play waiting to happen.
And if we let him break off 234 big plays and move the chains and and flip the field, the Buffalo Bills could really be in trouble This game, Debo and most er, are the two guys in that offense that could really do that and flip the field.
Um, if Nick Molins could get the ball in their hands because no offense to Nick Mullins.
He's the kind of guy who facilitates so he gets the ball into the hands of the playmakers.
It's the playmakers that make the place, not the quarterback in that offense.
So you really got to contain those two playmakers, Debo and, uh, most all right on to our next topic here.
Under our next topic, I'm looking for some hot takes now.
I'm looking for some hot takes.
I'm looking for you guys to really, really bring the fire.
Really? Bring the fire with your with your hot takes for this game.
But before we do as always Oh my God! We're having a fire sale.
Oh, the burning! Okay, All the school Children Oh, made a fever thing.
I can't even see where the job is.
Alright, What are our hot takes? What is the take that will make us go? All go Tobias Funke A This Monday night Dave, we will start with you.
What is your hot taking the game Hot Taking the game, Andre Roberts finally breaks one.
Whether it's on a punch or a kick return, he takes one to the house this week.
That's my hot take.
He's so close and you can tell he's getting a little bit frustrated in some of those where he's close, he gets up.
He kinda slams the ball a little bit, but he's really close to break in when he's taking great angles right now, he's patient.
He is do no better time than prime time for Andre Roberts to go Liotta's McKelvin Monday Night Football against Dallas from years ago and break a kick return for a touchdown, this game on prime time or punt return, either.
All right, But who? What is your hot take for this game? That was a good one, too, because we're not talking about under Robert's Enough.
My God, he is unreal.
He could have been in under the radar guy or even Can you take me higher because he's a star? I mean, if he's probably gonna make the pro toys like you just saw the difference between him and anybody that Chargers had on their spiral teams last week, It's like night and day, and they really can.
It could really change the game for me.
The hot, thick, the Bills D will have their first offensive touchdown since 2000 and 17 there on a turnover street.
Thus far, the defense is hitting strong.
In the last several weeks, I've loved, I've seen and they have gotten turnovers down near the other end of the field near where they would be in the red zone so that they're getting turnovers near where they can score points.
I think Nick Mullins has a tough day against the Bills D that seems to be hitting stride I think something happened where the bills wind up getting the ball in the end zone on D.
So that's my hot take bills.
So but what you're saying is, if my hot take in your hot take come true, then we should be starting the Bills.
Specialty and special teams in fantasy lock of the week.
We're both doubling way.
Got a hot take here from a sheet Turner, Nate, Tom.
Nate Robinson will be at the game.
I think he used to play for the Golden State Warriors, so maybe, uh, maybe he will.
But that was my next question.
My next question was hopefully, the Buffalo Bills will be the Logan Paul to San Francisco's Nate Robinson.
Uh, this week never thought I would compare the Buffalo Bills toe Logan Paul in my life, but, uh, Riesgos coming in with coming to the hot take.
He says Brian winners gets yanked.
A like or Ryan Bates takes over. Right guard. Yeah.
No, I'm sorry, Rico.
I love you, but Sean McDermott seems pretty obsessed with our man Brian.
Winners. I don't see it happening.
I don't I just don't I don't see it happening.
If it did make up, told the offensive line, You're the best five. Let's go.
I don't I don't see him on and that's and that's why, Rico.
I think it is a hot take, so I I appreciate it.
James Corti is coming in with the super chat.
Always appreciate our super tighter, so we'll take out a little time here. Thio.
Or maybe it's a question.
I haven't read it yet.
Just gonna I'm just gonna What sort of looking for? It's gonna process it as I read it here on the screen.
James Cortines coming in, says Bills will beat the Steelers and limit turnovers.
Protect Joshi on and run the ball.
Resign or extend Feliciano and extend Milano.
Limit penalties, Wind, playoffs and Super Bowl.
Honestly, James, go.
Thank you. Cool.
Let's let's do it.
Let's beat the Steelers.
Let's limit our turnovers.
Let's run the ball.
Let's resign, John Feliciano, Matt Milano and let's win the playoffs. Let's go through ball.
I'm with you, man.
We mentioned this on our Monday's show.
If this team plays to its potential, if this team plays to his potential we could beat anyone.
We mentioned it earlier in this show.
When it comes to Feliciano Milano, it really stinks.
The Buffalo Bills truly are in a Super Bowl window right now.
They really are Josh Yonas rookie contract.
The roster is good as it is.
We have the Super Bowl window and it just, like, were good for the first time in, like 20 years.
30 years, and it's in a cove it season.
And next season's gonna be in a season where the salary cap is probably gonna stifle us from maybe adding a weapon or two that we could have to put us over the top.
So, like, you see all these teams like the L A Rams and all these teams that are like in their windows and they go out and they make a big splash when they probably shouldn't.
The Buffalo Bills aren't even gonna probably have that opportunity because of the cove in salary cap rules and stuff.
But hey, Matt Milano, like you know, Hombre Llave is coming and saying Matt Milano, the China deal, Maybe you can give Matt Milano like one year prove it deal where he wants to come back, prove himself and then hit the free agent market again when the salary cap goes back to normal, Maybe you can offer him a low deal in the first year on, then some bigger money in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th year.
Who knows a lot of things to talk about this offseason, but my heart take for this game, and this is predicated on Brian Table listening to me, which you know, who knows that's gonna happen.
Like I said, my philosophy, this game.
I want to see the Buffalo Bills come out spread.
I want to see them come out, Hurry up.
I want to see them work the ball down the field, dink and dunk, even if it's throwing the ball, really get the San Francisco 40 Niners defense tired because they're lacking at Nickel Corner There. Nickel corner.
Assert their safeties air thing up.
There's a lack of death in that defensive line.
Tire him out in order to do that.
If the Buffalo Bills do come out with that strategy copiously.
10 plus catches, 100 plus yards, two touchdowns.
You want a hot take? You want a hot take.
I want Colby's Cole Beasley to have one of the best receiving games of the season of any NFL player this week.
On Monday Night Football, he's gonna absolutely shine the dudes used to playing on my night football.
He was a Dallas cowboy, and he always seemed to make plays on prime time.
So I'm going with Cole Beasley.
Alright, ladies, gentlemen way.
Do we not go, Jeff? No, you just gloss over cold pizza.
Jeff, you're well, You're typically the moderate.
I'm not used to be the right.
That's what you get for putting the second place.
That's what you get for putting the second place in the standings.
But anyone who is your who is? What is your hot take? Well, I was trying to flip through some stats and try to figure out something how the Bills could stop Mostert and Jerick McKinnon and all of that stuff.
But I don't want to go that I want to go.
That the last time the Bills played in Arizona before this season, not the last time.
You know, three weeks ago, whatever I was at the game 2012 Buffalo Bills and Jay Feely made a 61 yard field goal.
If I pull it up and that made it 16 to 16 in the fourth quarter, and then later in that game, he had, like a 30 yard, 35 yard chip shot that actually got deflected off a defensive lineman hit the post and we went into overtime.
So I want to see if Tyler Bass can hit that 61 or longer in this game.
I want to see because I don't think he's made over 59 58 59 yet this season, If I recall correctly, I don't think he's made one in the sixties, so I'd like to see.
Yeah, he ate one, but he missed.
It was kind of a 58 was this long? I believe 50 nine is his long this season.
And so I want to see down in the desert, you know, slightly above sea level.
I will see if straight back home he can kick one longer than I saw Jay Feely kick in that stadium in 2012.
He's got the left for sure, and he was kicking the hell out of the ball in Arizona to.
Did he have a couple of 50 yards in that game? All right, ladies and gentlemen, we're We are pushing two hours now, so it's time finally, for our game predictions.
So without further ado, trust and you know my it's time to show the people the money.
What are our game picks for the week since I left you out last time, Geoff, I will start with you.
What is your prediction? What is your prediction for this week's game? Show me the helmet.
The Buffalo Bills helmet coming out? Um, I don't Honestly, I don't I wanna be a Homer like John Murphy and say that it's not going to be close.
Um, but I'm going to give it, you know, a good 35 23 Buffalo e score prediction.
I have no justification for it.
So 30 five, but no.
But then how does that account for the past 61 yarder? You know, a lot of weight could have a safety.
We could have a safety. Okay.
Out of a lot of a lot of penalties on the extra point.
35 20 I just don't feel like it's going to be a close game.
I I'm going home er on this one.
I don't wanna put an announcer's jinx on it, but I am not nervous about this game whatsoever.
But how about you? How about you? What you got going on here? I wasn't nervous until I queued up my book today and saw that the bills air minus one and that's all you need to see.
I mean, Vegas is no dummies.
They know something we all don't at all times.
They think this game is going to be incredibly close.
I guarantee you it will be.
I also think it's gonna be low scoring.
I don't think the Bills, if they couldn't put up more than 30 against the Chargers.
I doubt they do it against the Niners.
But then again, the Bills defense is playing good.
Nick Mullins is Nick Mullins.
I think that at some point or another, that's gonna wind up being the difference.
The two quarterbacks and obviously it edges out in the Buffaloes favor.
It's gonna come down to the fourth quarter, the Bills.
We're now what six straight games that have been decided by one score.
We gotta get used every game, no matter what.
Seems to come down to the fourth quarter.
Mainly because they cannot put a game away in the third quarter's.
I'm not yet ready to say they're willing to blow out anybody until I actually see it.
Comes down to be a close game.
Fourth quarter, for sure.
But I think the Bills wind up taking this 1 24 to 21 in a pretty decent and fun, you know, fun to watch game tell what you got.
So Bob mentioned his book. I pulled mine up. It is a pick.
Um, it's a zero spread game minus 1 10 for both teams over under on the games, 47 a half.
So they're expecting something around 24.
Something like that.
23 type of game.
And honestly, I I kind of agree.
I think it's gonna be close.
I don't think that we're going to run away with this one.
I think it will be close to the end.
I think we're gonna settle for field goals and spots where we're going to kind of you know, get frustrated, go to Twitter and be like, man, you should sort of touch down there, whatever it may be.
Um, so I actually think that's I think that's what I'm gonna go with.
I'm gonna go with Bills 24 Niners 23 as my prediction.
Who who? As close? Uh, I went with the prediction last week of 27 to 23 the Buffalo Bills ended up winning 27 17 when it should have probably been 27 23 2027 24 if not for Anthony Lynn and Justin Herbert on the goal line there.
But God bless Anthony Lynn.
Yeah, I'm gonna go with that same score again.
I I don't think the Buffalo Bills are capable of scoring 30 plus points without John Brown.
I just don't see the Bills having in them.
But I do see the Bills winning this game because I do think, uh, because I do think Rico, we've been talking about it.
I'll show Yeah, I think that I think the running game takes a back seat this week.
I think Josh throws the ball 40 50 times.
I think we do enough to to win the game, but San Francisco is still a very tough team in the trenches. They could run the football.
They could control the clock.
Kyle Shanahan is a very good play caller.
They got players like Deebo, Samuel, Raheem, Mostert, Brandy, Yukon.
That offense going 27 23.
And here's my hot take.
Uh, last week I said, The defense holds the Chargers on the last drive.
This week, I say that Josh Allen leads a game winning drive, 27 23.
Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football.
I think a lot of the sports books to bring it in closer.
I think if San Francisco would not have beaten L.
A. I don't think it would be a close.
I think that L A.
When I think that L A when woke a lot of people up.
Well, do you also think that even though the Bills one last week, the way they won, probably maybe lower them a little bit in the eyes of Vegas is Well, I think coming out of the by a little sloppy, so we'll see.
Alright, so, gentlemen, unless any last second questions or comments come in, you guys you're forgetting about one thing.
I pulled it off the dolphins.
Helmet ice, the white face masks coming back.
How was video? That was awesome.
Their marketing teams killing it this year.
They're special stuff is awesome.
That was a pretty cool video.
Listen, and I said it on Twitter, I'll say it again.
They're not gonna They're not No, They're not gonna get me excited by bringing out the white face mask for one game.
You're not going to see me get all giddy and happy? No, until you make it a 16 game until you make it a part of your permanent uniform.
Don't come at me.
Bills with your white face masks like you're just you're throwing me a gift.
No, no, it should be a 16 game permanent fixture on our uniforms.
So don't come at me Buffalo Bills until it's a permanent part of our uniforms.
But rumor we're going with stormtrooper uniforms.
So Stormtrooper uniforms, all white white from head to toe.
That will be bad ass on my night football.
Badass because, like ESPN sucks like everything about ESPN is just freaking terrible.
Their presentation, their stupid cartoons, their announcers minus Luc Nilis Rid**** Mad respect, Luis Rid****.
Everything about ESPN just sucks when they call a game.
But, man, they do have the Christmas picture.
They have the Christmas picture like they dio eso Those stormtrooper uniforms are gonna look, *****! And I'm on CBS for Life Man CBS for life.
Yeah, I'm a CBS guy s o I know a guy who works in the bills equipment room and I'm having trouble just putting this plastic face mask on the plastic helmet so mad props to them for having to change out the rial face masks.
Wait, are ****ing and what? Rico Food e.
I wanna hear a reason why.
Yeah, Riga, you need to provide some justification, e.
I think you're going over for it with us on that one.
But, you know, you know what I want to see and I always do this in Madden.
I want to see the red jerseys with white pants.
Oh, the red on red bugs me.
I want to see red jerseys. White pants.
Yeah, you're right.
I don't like it already there.
Yeah, I mean, first I'm colorblind, so it really is not good.
You clothe Christmas color game was not good for me, man.
I could not tell.
So then when they went to the bills Red and the Jets all white, that was so much better.
Oh, man, it was so much better.
You know what I don't get, though? Why does the NFL not follow the model of the NHL in the NBA? Does where they have these awesome alternate uniforms each year.
Like, why are you only stuck toe one helmet color? Why are you only stuck toe one alternate jersey? You should be able to go nuts.
They would make so much more money to I I don't get it.
Yeah, well, a couple of things.
NFL teams have to pick their uniforms before the season even starts.
So the Buffalo Bills have to pick their uniforms before the season starts.
Yeah, that's stupid.
But as for the helmets, the justification the NFL gives is concussions.
They believe that if you're painting the helmets different colors, you're switching out the helmets as opposed to using the same helmet.
So the Buffalo Bills with white helmets are able to just swap the logo is really easily changing the colors of the helmets a little bit more difficult.
So the NFL, The reason for that is concussions, but, uh wow.
Rico says you're not color blind, your color impaired.
It doesn't explain why he doesn't like the white face mask he's deflecting here.
Hey, is deflecting for sure, but all right, I think that should just about do it.
We pushed two hours down, and this was impressive.
My fiance is gonna kill me because I'm pretty sure dinner has been ready for about 45 minutes now.
I know, Dave, your wife gets pretty upset when we push an hour. 15.
Well, she's pregnant and sleeping.
So maybe that's maybe that's my problem.
Just gonna get my fiance pregnant.
I wanted this problem.
Yeah, you guys, are you guys the only ones here without kids? Am I? Am I the only one here with a kid? I will have one in two months. Yeah.
Enjoy your sleep right now because it's going to change.
I'm going to tell you that.
And that that clip you showed of the guy from Arrested Development, Mr.
Fouquet? Um, how they He's just going nuts.
And then he's asleep.
That will happen for about two hours.
The kid will be running around and then boom nap on the middle of the floor.
It will happen, I promise.
Could you imagine someone asking Judge? Hey, why did you guys decided to have a kid and just says, Well, man scape was having a 20% off sale with fanatics.
Doubles are that.
But Okay, ladies and gentlemen, that should just about do it.
I'm gonna let I'm gonna We're gonna go with our typical go bills.
And then Sean McDermott is gonna close this out, so I'll start it off.
You guys can follow. We'll go down.
We'll give the guests the last two.
And then Jeff, one solid go bills go. Bills go.
Bills go back the Oh, I'm sorry, but you could go go bills one more times I interrupted.
You know, Bill's baby Get it done in prime time, baby.
