and we are live welcoming everybody to second in gold Sports talks.
Coverage of Steelers versus Ravens This game has been postponed six days, but it's finally happening as we get started here with the second half.
I'm Calvin your host, and I'll be with you here for the entire second half of this game and the Steelers just ran out.
The Ravens kick off to about the 27 yard line.
There's a flag on the play, the Steelers air winning right now, 12 to 7, and there's gonna be a holding call on the return team, so that will back them up to the 17 yard line.
Ray Ray McCloud was on the return, the Ravens missing several key players here in this game, including running backs Mark Ingram and J. K. Dobbins.
And then quarterback Lamar Jackson, who tested positive for coronavirus, is out for this game.
And so the dealers walks should get lined up with their own 19 yard line.
Here is Ben Roethlisberger stands in the shotgun.
He'll take the snap and fake the handoff.
Roethlisberger looking deep on the first play left side and that is broken up in complete.
Ah, good throw their from Roethlisberger.
But good coverage by the Ravens defense that passed was intended for Chase Claypool.
But there is a flag on the play.
Claypool didn't seem happy.
This might be pass interference, which would be a huge blow to the Ravens.
Yep, it's gonna be pass interference.
So with 14 45 left in the quarter, just 15 seconds into the half, Marlon Humphrey gets called for the penalty, and suddenly the Steelers are already in Ravens territory.
So it'll be first down.
And there was some contact, it looks like, and a decent call there.
The ball is on the Ravens 45 yard line.
Roethlisberger in the shotgun.
He'll give it to his running back, running up for about three yards.
There is Benny Snell.
James Connor is not playing in this game.
Also, do the coronavirus.
So Benny Snell is starting running back and he gains three yards for second down and seven Roethlisberger, lining up again.
Ball on the 42 yard line, is in the shotgun.
Roethlisberger takes the snap quick throw to the left side.
It is complete about two yards short of the sticks there, but Roethlisberger found Deontay Johnson.
It'll be third down in short clock, still running here under 14 minutes to go in the third quarter.
Marlon Humphrey was also in that coverage, but it was a nice route, thereby Deontay Johnson, who slipped down and caught it about.
Actually, he may have caught it about a yard from the sticks.
So, yeah, it'll be third one and the Ravens 36 yard line.
Roethlisberger in the shotgun, got a man to his right.
Three wide receivers on the field.
Quick, throw over the middle and it is dropped there.
A nice throw by Roethlisberger, but dropped by Deonte Johnson.
It'll be fourth and one, and the offense is staying on the field here.
The Steelers gonna try to make it a two possession game and can keep the drive alive instead of attempting a field goal.
Okay, Caylee for joining the broadcast.
Down and one, Roethlisberger takes the snap key.
Play here throws and it is broken up.
It was actually nearly intercepted there.
It was bobbled around from multiple Ravens defenders, including Patrick Queen, who was the one who had the chance that the interception.
But that will be a turnover on downs, and the Ravens will get the ball back with quarterback Robert Griffin.
The third, who came into the league is the second pick overall.
Is I'm sure all of you remember in 2012.
Had a great season with the Washington football team, leading them to an NFC East title.
Got injured early in his second season, was out of football for a while.
Came back to the Ravens about a year or two ago or came to the Ravens about a year or two ago.
And now he's been forced into a starting role with Lamar Jackson out tested positive for coronavirus, and RG three is starting in this game.
He was five for nine and passing in the first half.
Ran for 56 yards on five carries, and he's kept Baltimore in this game.
Baltimore had a chance began and a half for a score, but there was no delay of game penalty.
Called on the Pittsburgh defense a questionable call, letting them run out the clock at the end of the half.
Oh, so we're in a commercial break right now, and once we come back, the Ravens will take over and This has been a good game so far, actually called the last Ravens Steelers game, in which it came down to the final play in an incomplete pass intended for the end zone.
For the Ravens, that was a wild game fun to call, so I figured I should also call this game the sequel.
Second Ravens Steelers of the season.
So we are back now two Ravens and Steelers and with just about a minute and a half for about a minute and a half into the third quarter right now.
And what should be an exciting game, The Ravens surprisingly staying in it.
But they're fighting for their playoff lives here as of now there out of the playoffs at six and four.
But they need to beat the undefeated Pittsburgh Steelers here.
This is E mean they don't need to.
This isn't a must win, but it is pretty close, and it definitely hurts to be without Lamar Jackson.
As Griffin takes the snap, hands it off to his running back.
I believe that was Edwards, who got up to about the 44 yard line, got seven yards.
They're on the run, actually knows.
Excuse me That was Justice Hill, who now has more carries than Gus Edwards on the game.
So it'll be second down.
I think I believe he has more carries there.
Either that or about equal.
He has certainly been more productive than gusts in this game, as Edwards is now on the field and Griffin breaks the huddle.
Yes, second down and four, they'll actually mark him down a yard shorter than I thought they would.
As Griffin hands it off to Edwards, Edwards is stuffed in the back field for no gain.
He maybe got half a yard there.
Multiple Pittsburgh guys were in on that tackle, including Highsmith for Pittsburgh.
And it will be third down.
Alex Highsmith, the backup right outside linebacker, was in on it.
So third down in four is the clock continues to run.
Thank you. Okay, Caylee for the whistle.
We really appreciate it.
They're down in four.
Griffin, in the shotgun with an empty backfield, sends a man in motion to the right side of the formation.
Now he's actually going in the back field.
This is Justice Hill.
Griffin snaps keeper Robert Griffin dives ahead for five yards and he gets the first down, I mean, say what you will about his passing ability.
He's fun to watch.
He is now over 60 yards on the ground today, and I mean, not a lot of teams run keepers for the Q B on third down and four.
But Griffin got tripped up and he dove ahead for about five yards on the fake handoff to Justice Hill.
Ah, bold call from Jim Harbaugh or John Harbaugh.
Excuse me, but it worked out for them.
So it'll be 1st and 10 now.
Griffin's just thrown for 22 yards on the day, but he's grand for a lot more.
It's also throwing a pick ball on the 48 of the Ravens.
Griffin in the shotgun.
Gotta get the snap off.
He does fakes the handoff.
Griffin hit his He throws and he just throws it away.
It was in the direction of one of his receivers, marquees Brown.
Griffin was on the ground, and there's a flag on the play that might be roughing the passer on Cam Heyward, the defensive tackle.
We'll see what this is.
I mean, that was close.
I don't know if you can call that roughing the passer, but that's what they're calling it.
We'll have to see a replay.
BJ Nats 96 I don't know about that call.
Griffin had barely I mean, I don't know if you can stop there.
It was a tough hip, but it looked clean to me.
I don't think I agree with the call, but either way, that will definitely help the Ravens out for 1st and 10.
So, first down in 10.
Now, Griffin in the shotgun, got two guys in the backfield.
One of them is this full back.
The other man is Justice Hill Griffin, 10 on the play clock. Heel snaps.
He's gonna keep it, Griffin across the 30.
You actually get stopped at about the 30 there, three yards short of the first down marker, which is the 27.
It'll be second down, RG three looking like his old self on the ground, not necessarily through the air, as he gets a nice run there.
And there seems to be an injured stealer on the field talking to trainers.
We'll see who this is as the clock stops with 11 minutes to go in the third quarter and now he is walking off the field.
It's Chris warmly.
The defensive end doesn't appear to be seriously hurt.
Maybe it might be something with a concussion.
Seemed to point to his face.
There may be something with his nose or something, but warmly walks off the field, a tough blow for the Steelers.
It'll be second down in three Steelers air, missing their starting defensive end. Step onto it.
Who, actually, I guess, would have been starting in the place of warmly, UM, but he has not.
He was not available right now.
They also lost their center, Pouncey and marquees Pouncey, and they're running back.
James Connor second down and three.
Griffin hands it off Here, this is Edwards.
Edwards spins off tackle.
He gets a first down in a lot more down to about the 22 yard line.
Gus Edwards showing some life and there's another flag on the play.
It seems like there's been a flag pretty much every like every play at this point.
When I was announcing the Colts game, they had seven holding penalties.
I believe it was seven holding penalties that will this will be holding on Fluker.
Um, the offensive lineman here. D. J.
Fluker the backup right guard, but this is, um, it's seven holding penalties.
Just kept backing them up in backing them up, and they were getting hit hard by that, and they still managed to win the game.
Gus Edwards did a good job of escaping, but a holding call brings it back to 2nd and 13.
That's the Steelers, his third penalty on the day.
The Ravens have five 10, 25 counting to go in the third quarter.
Edwards in the back field to the left of RG three trips to the left, nobody on the right side that's visible on the screen.
Quick throw their on the play action is complete to his receiver.
That's markets Brown, who keeps dancing around the dancing around, and it looks like he turned two yards into about three.
So it be 3rd and 10, maybe 10.5.
It took a while to bring him down.
There is he ran out of bounds.
The clock stops at 10 11 to go in the third quarter, Justin Tucker jogging around on the sideline, probably the most talented kicker in football.
Practicing snaps for a potential kick is now.
The clock is running ball on the 37 yard line.
Tucker could definitely hit from this range.
This would be a 55 yard field goal.
It was almost automatic for him.
Shockingly, Griffin takes the snap.
Justice to play. Clock expires.
He's gonna hand it off to Justice Hill, and Hill is brought down in the backfield for a loss that will probably bring it to about the 40 yard line.
Nice play there by the Steelers.
Walked in on the tackle, one of the biggest stars of this star studded Steelers defense and looks like he'll actually made it up to about the 39.
So if they decide to take the field goal here, this would be a 57 yarder from Justin Tucker, something that he's certainly capable of making.
He is automatic from inside 55 but they're punting.
I mean, maybe because of the cold conditions, and this one will drop inside the five yard line marked down at about the four.
So I mean, I guess conditions aside, Justin Tucker.
People hit that something like that.
But Sam Cooke made a nice punt down to the floor, so the Steelers will get the ball back in just a moment because we had to do a commercial break.
Go on mute for one second, all right.
Sorry about that. I'm back now.
Lookee here and winging Joe for making joining the broadcast.
So once we get back, the Steelers will start off with the ball up 12 to 7 deep in their own territory at the four yard line.
We should be back in just a moment here.
Later tonight, I will be recording a new episode of the second in Gold Fantasy podcast.
If your fancy football fan go check that out a little drop tomorrow morning.
First thing as Roethlisberger takes the snap, hands it off to his running back that Snell, who only gets about a yard up to the five nice play there.
Marcus Peters, among others, was in on the tackle.
But the Ravens saw that one coming, and their defense has been pretty tough today, even while being hurt by Cove in 19.
But, um, the ball will be at the five yard line now second down and nine.
Roethlisberger, standing at his own goal line.
Send a man in motion. It's Deontay Johnson.
Roethlisberger takes the snap looking looking, just gets rid of it and completes it to DeOnte Johnson for the first down across the 15, the ball will probably be spotted it about the 16 or 17 yard line.
Roethlisberger was facing a tough blitz, but made the smart play and got rid of it and found Johnson for the first down.
Deontay Johnson's really been a breakout receiver for the Steelers this season.
As the clock dips under eight minutes to go in the third, Johnson jogs back onto the field, lining up next to Juju Smith Schuster on the right side.
Roethlisberger got a man in the backfield on 1st and 10. Hands it off. It's Snell.
Snell gets up to about the 17 for a gain of one yard, another one yard gain for Snell.
The second of the drive is he gets stopped again by the Ravens defense.
Derek Wolfe, the defensive end, was in on the tackle.
Roethlisberger in the huddle now, and Steelers walk up to the line.
Snell is in the backfield once again.
Eric Ebron Juju Smith Schuster, both on the field to other wide receivers.
Deontay Johnson lined up on the left side of the formation, Claypool motioning to the right.
Roethlisberger takes the snap four man blitz rolling to his right.
Fires back left complete Thio Ebron across the 20 to the 22.
Good awareness, thereby Roethlisberger showing some mobility.
LJ Fort was in on that tackle, along with another rave In It will be third down.
Thank you, Jacob Rep. N.
Y R for joining the broadcast.
So third down and four as Roethlisberger breaks the huddle once again, key third down here for the Steelers to try to keep the drive alive from their own 22.
Roethlisberger empty backfield got a brewing on the field to the left side of the formation as he takes the snap.
Roethlisberger throws over the middle, complete to Claypool, but that will only get him one yard.
The Ravens defense coming up big again.
Marcus Peters making another huge tackle as he walks off the field.
Peters was one of many Ravens in on that run.
One of the run stuffs earlier this drive, and now he makes a nice play as the Steelers will be forced to punt here on fourth and three.
So now the punt team is on the field for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Jordan bury the punter, standing in about his own eight yard line.
Snap and the kick is away.
And that's gonna be a very, very solid punt.
Fielded it about the 21 by the Ravens across the 25.
Running all the way up to the 33 yard line is James Prakash, and that's where the Ravens will get started.
But there is a late flag on the place, actually, on second thought this might not be where the Ravens get started.
Good amount of penalties.
As the second half gets going, we'll see what this call is.
Is gonna be an illegal block in the back on Baltimore that is the second special teams penalty of the half that will set them back from decent field position.
Thio about mediocre field position as we will return with 5 27 to go in the third quarter, Steelers Air winning 12 to 7 vs Baltimore.
We'll be back in a moment, and I'll just be going on mute again for one sec.
I'll be back, though, Alright, so I'm back now, but the game is not back just yet.
Should be very soon here, 5 27 to go in the third quarter, the Ravens trying to come back here down 12 to 7 and defensive battle that the Steelers were expected to win pretty handily.
The Ravens have been struggling a bit lately, but they've been able to stay in it as Robert Griffin.
The third, is back on the field now when he breaks the huddle for first down and 10 Gus Edwards in the backfield.
Griffin, in the short shotgun, sends a man in motion to the right side of the formation ball on the 20 yard line.
Griffin takes the snap.
Edwards is bottled up for a loss of two that could have been a loss of three.
It was able to find his way back up.
It'll be second in 12, five minutes to go here in the third quarter, Griffin stands in the shotgun again.
Edwards in the backfield is a man goes in motion the right side of the formation.
Now back to the left, one on the play clock.
He'll take the snap, Griffin looking.
He is brought down in the backfield for a sack that is T. J.
Watt bringing him down about the eight yard line.
So, obviously, the younger brother of J.
J want t j looking really good.
There was unblocked on that blitz, actually, and just brings down RG three.
It'll be third down and very long.
Huge play for the Ravens, but they may not be able to get much done on it.
That's the third sack of the day for the Pittsburgh defense.
Third down and 21 under four minutes to go In the third, Griffin takes the snap.
Little pitched Edwards Edwards across the 10.
Edwards gets up to the 15.
Actually, Scuse me, not Edwards as Justice Hill, the 4th and 15, and the Ravens will presumably punt this away.
Thanks for tuning in.
Sam Cooke, now on the field to punch it away, standing in his own one snap, and the kick is away.
It'll cross midfield be fielded by Ray Ray McCloud at the 33 yard line.
McLeod gets it up to about the 38 maybe the 39 yard line before he's brought down 12 7.
Pittsburgh on top of Baltimore with 3 12 to go in the third quarter will be back in just a moment.
So the game is scoreless so far throughout the entire second half.
12 to 7 remains the score.
As the Steelers have the ball, they'll try to extend it to a two possession game, or at least an eight point game.
They could do with a field goal.

That is our that our is our shows.
It's not good grammar, but you know you know what I mean.
Roethlisberger stands in his own 34.
Now in the shotgun, the balls at the 39 yard line of Pittsburgh.
He takes the snap under pressure throws.
It is incomplete.
Good pressure there from the Ravens blitz.
They haven't been sending very many Blitzer's, but they have been getting Roethlisberger.
They've been making him hurry, and it'll be second in 10.
The Ravens defense has been really impressive.
They have come to play today here in Pittsburgh, in a road stadium when which there are no fans.
I mean, actually might be like 250 which are like family.
It looks like, but no fans in the stadium right now, other than them as unique and gawk.
Way, Who was the new acquisition mid season, was in on the hurrying of Roethlisberger.
2nd and 10, Roethlisberger takes the snap throw sideline.
But then juju Smith Schuster, who caught the ball.
He lost the football, and now they're saying it's incomplete.
So that's a close When I couldn't really tell if that's a catch or not, but he did lose.
The football is they showed the replay.
It looks like he tucked it in, and I think that's a fumble.
So if it is a fumble that will give them a few extra yards and make it third and more manageable, I mean, you see Jude, you catch the ball, tuck it in, take three steps and then Marlon Humphrey knocked it out.
So I assume that's a catch.
It'll be, and it'll be third short, but they're actually ruling it incomplete.
And Mike Tomlin is not challenging this.
So it'll be third Donington.
Actually, it looks like you may challenge it.
Here come the referees now and see how, with 301 to go in the third quarter.
And yes, they are challenging the ruling on the field.
And so we'll see what happens with that.
That's the Pittsburgh's first challenge of the game.
I believe that's what it said on the screen, at least.
And yeah, that's definitely I would say that's probably going to come back as a um It could make it third and five movie 33 depending on where the Bumble came up to.
But yeah, we'll see if, um, see what happens.
We're in a commercial break right now.
So once again, we will be back soon to find out the result of the challenge, which presumably will overturn the call in the field of an incomplete pass.
I don't see why it wouldn't showing after we saw the replay.
So the announcement's gonna come in soon.
It is actually coming in right now, um, and want to see what the call is.
Hard to tell with sound on mute.
So it's still not showing one screen what the call is.
Well, probably find out in just a moment and yeah, I don't know.
That was You know, when you look at it, it is kind of hard to tell whether he had full possession, But I looked like you did for enough time.
Yeah, and they will.
It looks like they called it a complete passed on a fumble.
So the forward progress of the fumble is not counted.
Was, was I was, which was what I was wondering about whether it be 33 or 35.
It will be 35 as Roethlisberger takes the snap throws over the middle.
Complete Diatta Johnson, who has the first down in another yard, up to the midfield.
Marcus Peters came up limping after that play, favoring one leg, but it looks like he'll be able to stay on the field.
He is walking around gingerly now, as the huddle is broken quick approach to the line for Roethlisberger and the Steelers first down and 10 with 2 27 to go in the third quarter, ball at midfield Roethlisberger standing at his own 44.
He'll take the snap looking fires right side to a wide open receiver.
That's Chase Claypool, who gets about 10, and Marcus Peter seems to be having trouble running on his leg.
He's now clutched.
He clutched his knee and then sat down on the sidelines.
Has now he's standing back up and limping around with his helmet off.
Hopefully, he's okay.
He sits down now on the bench.
The Ravens definitely can't afford to lose him.
So on the original play, he was making a tackle on Deontay Johnson.
It looks like something in his knee got May have twisted his knee a little bit.
And then, while he was trying to chase down Chase Claypool, he felt it again.
So he's now sitting on the sideline to afford to go in the third quarter as he talks with a trainer here.
1st and 10, Roethlisberger takes the snap fires over the middle, complete.
That's gonna be a gain of about eight yards and complete to chase Claypool so they look to Claypool again.
Second play in a row and it'll be second down in two Steelers getting something going for the first time this half, really? So let's see if that continues.
Second down in too late in the third quarter.
Ball on the 32 yard line of Baltimore, Claypool has four catches for 41 yards.
On the day we're off this burger in the shotgun.
Benny Snell to his right.
Snell running left.
Actually, that's Anthony McFarland, who got the first down getting about 3 3.
5 yards and Baltimore there inside the Baltimore 30.
Now is Pittsburgh down to about the 29 1st down and 10 as it looks like McFarland is staying on the field.
Fourth round draft pick out of Maryland are awful.
Burger in the shotgun now got McFarland in the backfield.
Eric Ebron, Juju Smith, Schuster.
One of the receiver on the field.
Roethlisberger throws deep looking for the end zone, and it is incomplete.
A nice play there by the Ravens defense intended for Deontay Johnson and about the three or the two yard line.
But that one was broken up there by D Sean Elliott, the free safety.
So, actually, I don't think that was excuse me.
That was not to Sean Elliott.
That was Devante.
Harris apologized the corner backup cornerback as Johnson had it for a second inside the five.
And then Devante Harris broke it up 2nd and 10 of the 29 yard line or office burger in the shotgun.
Empty backfield fires over the middle.
Complete Eric Ebron gets about 7 7.5.
So be third down and short and that it might have been the last play. The third quarter.
We'll see if they run one Mawr before the quarter ends.
This Ravens defense is just so loaded with talent they're still looking good even without Marcus Peters.
The Steelers air getting more stuff going now as the referee steps away 12 seconds to go in the third quarter.
Roethlisberger in the shotgun, 10 987 Now he steps up 43 to 1.
He's got to get it off, and he does not trying to draw the Ravens offsides, but it will be the end of the third quarter.
When we come back, we'll have 33 from the Baltimore 22 yard line.
No scoring in this third quarter. It will. It is.
Steelers 12, Ravens seven.
It's Ravens try to get a stop here on this Wednesday football game is we will head into a commercial break and that will be back in a moment.
Alright, so we'll get back to the fourth quarter in just a moment.

This game is so early It's just such a weird time because the Christmas tree lighting scheduled for eight PM Eastern tonight, the Rockefeller Center And that's, uh, I guess definitely.
I guess that takes priority over football as the teams switch signs on the field.
And now Benny Snell, on his second effort on third and three, gets all the way down to the 12 yard line for a game of 10.
What a run there by Benny Snell, who looked like he was stopped in the backfield, then made it 1st and 10 there as he ran out of bounds with 14 52.
And now the clock runs again to go in the fourth quarter.
So nice second effort by Snell.
They're finding the whole bouncing outside and a good run there by him, filling in nicely for James Connor on that run.
And now there's an injured stealer on the field.
Chuck UMA Okura, for the right tackle is down.
He seems to fall awkwardly on the play, and now he walks gingerly off the field for on 1st and 10.
I guess the rushing attack still hasn't been that great with the Steelers today.
38 rushing yards, 10 of them coming on that one play, but it's now looked good on that one.
Run first down in 10 ball on the 12, Roethlisberger sends juju Smith Schuster in motion to the left side of the formation. They'll take the snap.
He's gonna throw quick pass to juju.
Inside the 10 Smith Schuster runs out of bounds at about the five yard line, a nasty, stiff arm there on a Raven defender.
Tramon Williams, the backup cornerback, was the victim of the stiff arm, and juju got himself all the way up to about the fine for a second and three, maybe even the four yard line.
And it looks like that actually may have been a face mask that the referees missed.
So it'll be second down in two of the four yard line.
Roethlisberger, in the short shotgun, got Benny Snell behind him.
Snell up the middle, gets halfway to the two he actually got up to about the one yard line.
He'll get the first down but does not get the score.
And now the tightening.
The Ravens defense.
You have to come up big to try to prevent this from becoming a two possession game first and goal.
So first and goal with one Roethlisberger in the shotguns now to his left, takes the snap.
Roethlisberger looking for the end zone touchdown.
Steelers juju Smith.
Schuster from one yard out.
Makes it a two possession game, and the extra point will make this a 12 point lead for the Steelers as Juju celebrates in the end zone.
There a nice throw, thereby Roethlisberger good route and juju.
Schuster makes it a two possession game, so the extra point now is good for the Steelers with 13 20 to go in the fourth quarter.
Steelers 19, Ravens seven will be back in a moment after this commercial break.
Alright, so we'll be back in just a moment here in this 12 point game.
A field goal would make it a nine point game, which would still be a two possession game.
So the Ravens really need a touchdown here.
With 13 20 to go in the fourth quarter, they'll let the kickoff go through the back of the end zone for a touchback, so the Ravens will start off now with their own 25 yard line 1st and 10.
Robert Griffin hands it off to Justice Hill, who slips in the backfield and is also brought down there for no gain.
That'll be Henry Mondo, the defensive end on the play, and will be second down in 10.
Griffin takes the snap, working quickly.
He's gonna throw it deep, hit us. He throws.
And it is incomplete.
Intended for Marqise Brown multiple Steelers in on the coverage there, although the throw was just a little bit to the right and intended for Marcus Brown.
But show Hayden was also in coverage on that play.
So to be third down and 10.
And Griffin was hit hard similarly to the way he waas earlier when a questionable roughing the passer penalty was called.
But this one was not called the nose tackle Tyson Alu Alu was in on the head.
Third down in 10.
The line to gain is the 35 yard line.
Griffin and Shotgun got Justice Hill in the backfield to his left to to snap it one second, and they get it off Griffin.
There's a flag on the play.
Dumps it off to Justice Hill Hill, trying to get to the first down across the thirties, brought down about three yards short.
Good tackle there by Williams for the Steelers.
Vince Williams, the Ryan linebacker, was in on that one.
So the officials talking this one over on the sidelines, this is on Pittsburgh.
This would be huge for Baltimore.
Gonna be false start on the offense and actually an illegal formation.
So they'll actually have it.
Will actually be third down.
I believe it looks like they're going to replay down.
So an interesting call there by the Steelers to let them replay the down.
Maybe this was one where they couldn't decline the penalty.
I don't think that would be the case, though.
3rd and 15 at the 20 yard line.
Maybe they didn't want the fourth and short.
And it looks like a Steeler jumped there.
That might be offsides.
It was Ahluwalia who jumped, but I don't know if this is a false starter.
They're going to say it's a neutral zone.
Infractions on all.
So it'll be third down in 10.
So the illegal formation penalty I just checked, Can actually it can be declined.
So the decision not to decline could be could be hurting the Steelers here.
Third down and 10 25.
Griffin in the shotgun have to get another stop as he takes the snap.
Looking over the middle, Complete found a receiver about two or three yards short of sticks.
That was Devin Duvernay on the catch, so it'll be fourth down in two.
So forth down and two and the punt is away from Sam Cooke with 11.
5 minutes to go about in the fourth quarter is Ray.
McCloud calls for a fair catch, and he'll get one of his own 21.
So the Steelers will get the ball with 11.
5 minutes to go in the fourth quarter.
It is 19 to 7, a two possession game in favor of Pittsburgh.
So Pittsburgh will be looking to extend their lead even further if they could show up a lot of clock that this would be a huge drive for them, and Ben Roethlisberger is jogging onto the field for first down and 10 at the 21 yard line.
Eric Ebron, Chase Claypool, Deonte Johnson all on the field as well, and juju Smith Schuster.
They break the huddle.
The five offensive lineman Ben Roethlisberger and Benny Snell will join them.
This is the classic Steelers line I've except without James Connor, 1st and 10 at the 21 yard line.
Roethlisberger fields the high snap, dishes it off Benny Snell.
Little dump office smell brings it up to about the 28 yard line for a gain of seven.
Nice decision by Roethlisberger and a good run after the catch by Benny Snell.
So, second three, now for the Steelers at the 28 yard line, Roethlisberger throws it quickly completed Deontay Johnson.
Johnson bounces off a potential tackling.
Gets up to the 35 for a first down Ravens defense, having trouble stopping Pittsburgh now for a zits, first down and 10 clock running.
Now, with 10 40 to go in the fourth quarter 1st and 10, Roethlisberger and his own 35 Snell in the backfield, Roethlisberger takes the snap.
He's gonna pass a little short dump off to Juju Smith. Schuster.
We'll get it up to the 40 for about five yards.
Bunch of little dump offs going on here, and that's been working well.
Is that sub joined going on between the Steelers and the Ravens? Second down.
So the ball is at the 40 yard line.
Now for second and five.
Roethlisberger takes the snap, looking under pressure.
Fires complete, but it will be for about no gain.
But Chase Claypool gets up.
It might actually be a gain of eight or nine.
I don't know if he was marked if he was hit down or not.
Looks like he might have been.
But nice, smart play there by him.
It looks like it'll be a first down.
I don't know if he was down by contact.
Looks like he may not have been so a nice, smart play there by Claypool.
So first down and 10 at the 48 yard line of the Steelers, Claypool now has five catches.
Roethlisberger takes to snap four man blitz from the Ravens.
Dumps it off over the middle to Benny.
Excuse me, who gets about five yards? Three Ravens were in on the tackle.
It'll be sucking down in five.
So Juju has eight receptions today for just 37 yards in the score.
Very weird Stat line.
8 14 to go in the fourth quarter.
Second and five for Roethlisberger takes the snap Foreman blitz again.
Fires over the middle, complete this time Thio Chase Claypool, who gets it about two yards short of the sticks, third down and to in a key play here for Baltimore.
They have to get this stop pretty or they don't have to, but pretty close.
They haven't been getting anything going on offense through this second half.
No points for them so far in the half.
So it's third down in two.
Steelers will chew as much clock is possible here.
Roethlisberger in the shotgun ball on the 44 of the Ravens quick path, and it is dropped by Eric Ebron.
That's a key dropped there.
It will be fourth and two.
Ebron would have had the first down if he had caught it, and Roethlisberger walks off the field, so the throw was hit him right in the hands.
But Ebron tried to run with it too soon, and he wasn't able to haul it in.
And now the clock has stopped.
With 7 28 to go in the fourth, the Ravens have a punt returner back deep.
It's James Prakash, George Barry, standing at his own 41 yard line for the Steelers, ready to punch it away.
Two on the play clock and it is snapped.
The kick is away.
Looks like process will call for a fair catch in his own 14 yard line.
And that's where the Ravens will start off.
And who is this? Unbelievable.
We see Trace McSorley coming on the field, the subject of so many of that video that went viral on tick tock, which I haven't really I can't believe I haven't haven't seen I don't think I've seen the full thing.
Don't want guess I'm not.
I need to get with the times here, but everyone's favorite trace McSorley.
And I'm sure Twitter is going crazy about this.
I'm not sure what's going on with RG three.
We're gonna try to get some new soon, so we'll see what happens.
But this is gonna be fun to watch. I'm not sure.
I guess RG 3 may have just been benched trying to get a change of pace here, Cube, Seeing if they could shake something up late in the game and the product out of Penn State.
Trace McSorley coming on the field. Now.
Hear about midway through the fourth quarter, 7 28 remaining.
And it's his two possession game.
So a tall task for the Ravens.
We'll see if they could get this done after the commercial break, and, I mean, McSorley jarred on the field, look back to the sideline for a second and he continued coming onto the field and then it cut to commercial break.
We'll see if what he could Dio.
So again, we will be back here in just a moment.
Trace McSorley was a recent activation from the Cove it list and, um, with Robert Griffin not playing the greatest today.
He has been benched for Mr Number seven, who might have might be the most famous backup quarterback, the most well known backup quarterback who had not played single snap in the NFL.
I don't think he has just yet in quite some time, maybe ever.
And now he gets his snaps and they're showing an overhead view of the Steelers, the stadium here.
But yeah, I mean, it's RG three standing on the bench right now, you're standing on the sideline.
He's actually got something wrapped around his knee so he might be injured.
But McSorley on the field with 7 21 to go in the fourth.
His first play is a pass, and that was woefully under thrown intended for Marqise Brown.
So 2nd and 10 McSorley takes the snap, he's gonna keep it.
McSorley gets about one yard, but he sprout down.
So a key third down already coming up his camp, Hayward was in on the tackle under six minutes to go in the fourth quarter.
Now a key third down and long mix so early in the shotgun got a man in the backfield.
McSorley takes the snap looking fires over the middle, finds a receiver about two yards short of the sticks.
It's Devin Duvernay, and it is fourth down now in very short, and it looks like X surely will stay on the field.
This might be the game right here, fourth down and to, and the Ravens gonna take their time thinking about this here.
Gus Edwards on the field is McSorley is in the huddle, 6 14 to go in the fourth quarter, Edwards to his right, McSorley in the shotgun, fourth down and to ball on the 22 yard line.
The 24 is the line to gain.
McSorley takes the snap.
It's a Q B keeper to the right side.
McSorley gets the first down across the 25 he is hit hard out of bounds.
And there is some jawing going on between him and Minka Fitzpatrick.
This game had a lot of jawing going on throughout, and McSorley gets the first down on the Q B keeper he has hit.
That was a brutal hit there, though by the Steelers defense.
I mean, somebody did not like that video.
It just doesn't like the Ravens.
But its first down McSorley fall in the 27 takes this now 1st and 10 throws over the middle, and it is off the hands of Dez Bryant.
Who would have thought that in this year we would see Troy's Trace McSorley and Dez Bryant um unable to hook up on a path playing in the same game? That's pretty crazy.
I don't think anyone would have thought it.
It's fun to be calling this game.
Even if the Ravens don't make it.
Competitive work is still own.
My RG three is getting a massive bandage on his knee on his leg.
Yeah, who would have thought that RG three was the one who got hurt and brought out of the game.
He started this game.
McSorley with Edwards in the backfield.
He'll take the snap dropping back.
McSorley, scrambling right, showing his mobility here, fires on the run and that is nearly intercepted.
A nice play there by the Steelers defense.
That was Minka Fitzpatrick, Who else? And on the play who has proven to be a great player for them ever since Steelers gave up a first round pick.
McSorley looking really good on that throw until it wasn't making Fitzpatrick was right there a risky throw and then close near near nearly an interception.
Excuse me, and they'll face another long third down 3rd and 10 5 25 to go in the fourth quarter, all on the 28 yard line.
McSorley throws over the middle, and it is incomplete.
He was looking for his tight end there, and it will be fourth down and another fourth down coming up this time on 4th and 10 and McSorley coming off the field with 5 21 to go in the fourth quarter.
It looks like the Ravens will punt tough drive for them.
RG three Talking to Marqise Brown on the sideline doesn't have a helmet on.
Sam Cooke will get ready to punch it away for resume obl e.
Unless this is a fake Steelers playing some guys back, just in case.
As he kicks it away inside the 30 where it goes out of bounds and the Steelers will take over 5 13 to go in the fourth quarter, Pittsburgh will try to ice the game here with they're up 19 to 7.
We will be heading into a commercial break.
I will be back in just a moment, all right? I'm back now during this commercial break once the As I thought, Twitter is going crazy, so the commercial break is almost over.
Once we're back, the Ravens will be trying to stop.
The Steelers were up by 12, 19 to 7 and, um, the commercial This commercial break should be over soon.
Just feel pretty long, but in the second we'll get to see the Ravens defense try to get one stop here.
Dealers will be looking to shoot clock it a two possession game 1st and 10 for the Steelers at their own 30.
Roethlisberger gives it to Benny Snell.
Snell stopped after about three yards, second down and seven, and the Steelers will continue running clock.
So second down and seven and Bud Dupree looks like on the last possession.
He may have been hurt on a non contact knee injury.
He went down, pounding the ground, holding his knee.
That does not look good.
Hopefully, he's okay.
So second down in 74 35 to go in the fourth quarter, Roethlisberger got five on the play clock.
He'll chew a lot of time off the clock is, uh Claypool goes in motion, and Benny Snell breaks a tackle out of the backfield.
And then he's brought down after a gain of two third down and five key.
Stop here for the Ravens defense.
They've got to stop the Steelers here, and the Steelers have a really easy actually, a really easy next three weeks schedule, so they actually might be able to go face the Washington football team.
Actually, not really easy.
The Bills, the Bangles, the Colts of the Browns.
All beatable teams, though, so they might be able to go 16.
No, they're 10 to know right now trying to survive against Baltimore, third down and 53 44 to go in the fourth quarter.
One of the play clock. He'll snap.
They're gonna throw.
This is a surprise going deep, and it is off the hands of Deontay Johnson.
That might have been one of the easiest catches I've seen all game, a perfect throw from Ben Roethlisberger and a gamble from Mike Tomlin that should have worked and Deontay Johnson could not hold on.
He beat Marcus Peters, who was back in the game, and, oh, man, that just bounce right off of his hands.
But that gives the Ravens a chance.
We'll see if RG three comes back in the game.
Great McSorley fans might just riot.
If that happens as Jordan Barry gets ready to punt, it snap and the kick is away and fair catches called for by Prasit about the 16 yard line.
So whoever is coming in a quarterback will have his work cut out for him and against the Steelers defense.
That may have just lost Bud Dupree, but they've still got T.
Watt still got Cam Heyward, Derek Wolfe or no, excuse me not Derek Wolfe.
Obviously, um, Joe Haydon make a Fitzpatrick and others ready to wreak havoc on the defense and T J Want has had two sacks today.
Been absolutely fantastic.
5 minutes to go in the third quarter, and McSorley remains in the game.
RG three was getting his knee taped up or his uh, maybe his hamstring, But, um, we'll see.
There's they flag on the play here.
Yes, RG three is not coming in. It will be.
I think it'll be off signs Ravens were pointing.
Yeah, it'll be neutral zone infractions.
So first and five McSorley get some help.
That was on Alex Highsmith, the backup right outside linebacker.
He was the one who jumped.
So first down in five, Baltimore will have to score a touchdown quickly and then stop the Steelers or getting onside kick.
So first and five of the 21 McSorley sends Hill out wide as he motions, he'll snap McSorley on the keeper across the 25.
He slides down in about the 31 yard line.
The Ravens need to hurry now, 1st and 10.
The Ravens need to win this toe, have a better chance at the playoffs to try to knock out the Steelers. Undefeated.
UM, undefeated record so far this year.
McSorley snaps, throws sideline complete.
He finds his receiver a wide open marquees brown brown inside the thirties and 20 Brown to the 10.
The five touchdown Balta war marquees.
Brown caught it about 20 yards downfield, choked back inside.
And that is gonna be trace McSorley first touchdown of his NFL career.
And it couldn't have come in a better way.
What an unbelievable play there by marquees Brown.
It wasn't a bad throw from McSorley, but then he juked out his defender, and there was only green grass in front of him.
Is Terrell Edmonds nous to tackle? He juked out making Fitzpatrick, and he made it into the end zone for a score.
And suddenly this one's a ball game.
Edmunds went flying by as marquees.
Brown takes it to the house, helping out his rookie Q B, and this extra point could make it a five point game.
And the extra point sneaks in there just barely.
But it is a five point game.
What an unbelievable play.
Marquees brown and Trace.
McSorley gets his first career touchdown catch, protest down pass on the deep ball. Unbelievable.
What a fantastic gave this has become glad.
I have decided to broadcast at Ravens and Steelers Part two.
And if the Ravens could get a stop and get the ball back, that would be huge for them.
And it looks like the Ravens will be trying an onside kick here to 58 to go in the fourth quarter.
And Justin Tucker who? I mean, who better than the best kicker in the league to try an onside kick? It's, um, motioning going on now.
Maybe some trickery going on by the Baltimore Ravens might have a plan.
A lot of guys running around now.
Three on the play clock and they got to get this one away.
Justin Tucker runs up and it looks like he got it off, and they're actually gonna kick this one away.
Field it about the six yard line and a nice play there by the Ravens special teams unit drinking to the Steelers and the thinking.
There was an onside kick and stopping Ray Ray McCloud inside is 15, and now Ben Roethlisberger will try to run out the clock here.
That was a smart play there by the Ravens.
I was not sure I agree with the onside kick call, but a great play in Pittsburgh will try to stand defeated here.
What a game we've got on our hands.
It would be unbelievable.
Trace McSorley were ableto lead Baltimore back to a victory and back.
This could be the turning point of their season.
Honestly, I mean, Lamar Jackson.
I think he's gonna come back next week, I would assume, but we'll see ball on the 13 yard line.
Roethlisberger in the shotgun with Benny Snell behind him.
Tight end, motioning Roethlisberger gonna pass on the first play and it is incomplete.
Or maybe it's a catch in a fumble from Deontay Johnson.
This looks like a lot like the juju catch and fumble from earlier today, but we'll see.
If Johnson had full possession, it's gonna be second down.
And if that's an incompletion, that's huge, because that stops the clock and it looks like that's gonna be a catch from Deontay Johnson and a fumble.
But the fumble actually went out of bounds.
So now that I'm realizing it, that's gonna be a that's gonna stop the clock to.
So the second in a road either drop or fumble from Deontay Johnson, who it's been struggling as of late. Marlon Humphrey.
Getting in there, who was also the one who punched the ball out from Juju and the ruling on the field looks like a catching a fumble and that that would stop the clock to.
But I think this is going to stand and it'll be second down in about eight or seven, and they're actually saying second and nine, I don't know if there's gonna be a challenge here.
So Johnson caught it.
He gets one step, two steps, three steps.
It's hard to tell.
It looks like it looks good to me.
Second and nine, Roethlisberger will snap.
He's gonna throw again.
Completes the past, though, but a nice tackle there by the Ravens defense is James.
Washington catches it for about a two or three yard gain.
Devante Harris getting another key tackle.
It will be third down ends Baltimore.
I guess they've taken clock is not running.
I guess Baltimore is taking a time out.
So a key third down here for the Ravens after the Steelers gave Baltimore a lot of time on the clock and I mean this should I wouldn't have thought this would be a comeback.
It didn't look like they had much of a chance.
So third down and six now a key play for the Steelers.
Roethlisberger in the shotgun got Snell. Do is write.
The Ravens need to get this, uh, play here and they will pass.
It's a first down caught by James Washington, and the Steelers went to the air again.
I cannot believe it.
1st and 10, the clock stops.
With 2 24 left in the fourth quarter, the Ravens will take a time out, but a key first down for Pittsburgh, giving the Ravens a lot less time now.
And James Washington had some attempts at a strip there, but he was able to hold onto the ball a nice play there.
Now it's the Ravens defense really needs to stop 1st and 10 with 2 25 left in the fourth quarter, they added back a second on the on the clock.
Baltimore has one time out to go along with the two minute warning first down and 10 for the Steelers.
Roethlisberger breaks the huddle, talking to Juju, sending him in.
James Washington out to the left side, Benny Snow on the field, to Roethlisberger's left.
This will be the second last play, presumably before.
The two minute warning is Vance McDonald motions to the left side of the formation Roethlisberger gives to Benny Snell.
Find some space up the middle.
He's got a first out up to the 46 yard line.
Thereby Benny Snell and Baltimore will need to take a time out here. Pretty soon.
I guess they're not gonna use it yet.
Let it run down to the two minute warning. E.
I would think they should probably use it now.
Still, at least save a few seconds.
They used it with two or three to go in the fourth quarter.
I think I don't know.
They probably should not have run that much clock down because now the two minutes to stop for the two minutes, Actually, they'll actually it looks like they added back.
So it's gonna be to 16 to go in the fourth quarter.
So a nice run, thereby Benny Snell.
The Ravens will get one more stoppage with the two minute warning, but they'll probably get the ball back with about 35 seconds in no time.
Outs needing to score a touchdown, maybe even 30 seconds.
That assumes everything goes as planned.
But Benny Snell just got a nice game there.
So a huge play now, huge set of downs for Pittsburgh.
They could try to ice the game right here.
Snell running right across the 45 Snell stiff arms across the 50.
He falls two yards short of the first.
What a run there by Benny Snell jawing at Marcus Peters.
There is that we will hit the two minute warning.
Baltimore needs toe hold Pittsburgh for two more place to try to have a chance, some drawing on the field.
Now, as Snell got outside, Absolutely destroyed.
Marcus Peters there.
So now there's still some jawing going on on the field here.
Haven't gone to a commercial just yet.
It looks like there's some stuff in Beni Snell's helmet that they're trying to get out.
RG three still sitting on the bench and Benny's now now walking off the field.
So Roethlisberger, now in the huddle, second and to the Steelers are out of time outs.
One more first down, it will actually be second in 31 more.
First down would ice the game.
Game would be over.
Roethlisberger 36 for 51 passing on the day for 2. 66.
Touchdown, an interception.
They break the huddle here for second and three, two minutes to go.
I would not pass if I were the Steelers.
So it will be third down and one now they'll actually give snail two parts on that run a minute.
They'll snap gift to Snell.
Snell Gotta push from his teammate.
I mean, it looks like James Washington was kind of tackling him there.
And this one is gonna be so close.
This might be the decider for the game.
I'm not sure what was going on with James Washington there, but maybe try to give Benny Snell on extra little boost.
But it looks like they're gonna mostly they spot this just gonna be so close.
And I guess it was more getting a push from Washington.
Looks like Oh, he might be short.
Looks like they stopped him short.
Maybe about a half yards shy.
Wow, That's gonna be an interesting call.
They're bringing out the chains for this moment.
This is critical.
The ball has been spotted and all.
Can you even tell with the chain? I don't know.
They're taking it back off its like, half an inch, fourth and inches.
They're gonna call it fourth and inches.
That is about as close is.
I've ever seen the stick as I've ever seen a spot that's crazy.
But right now, it looks like the Steelers going for a sneak play here on a run, bringing out all their big guys.
Think TJ Watt might be on the field? Actually, I don't think he has.
They're bringing out older, big linemen.
And this is gonna be a review for the spot of the ball. Unbelievable.
It was so close.
Even with the change that they had to review the spot.
What a climactic ending or close to ending.
That's really close.
Although I think Benny Snell is gonna be sure.
We're gonna see there's place still being reviewed.
Looks like Benny Snell.
I think the spot.
Might have even been a little bit generous.
Save might even move this one back a little bit.
I assume the Steelers would go for it on fourth down.
They can't get this, although, I mean, the better decision might be to punt deep in their own territory or too deep.
Punt The Ravens deep down.
So the call does stand, but they might want Thio.
Actually, it looks like the ruling.
They were saying the ruling.
It says it stands, but the ruling was, um, a first down.
I'm not sure it says first intent on the screen, so maybe it doesn't stand after all.
Or maybe that wasn't the call in the first place.
No, it's not gonna be first in 10.
It looks like clock is reset.
Now it's running RG three, standing on the sidelines watching.
Yeah, it's gonna be I guess they're gonna call it 1st and 10.
So there's gonna be one Neil and that will do it.
The Steelers will get away with a victory.
It looks like the original call was fourth and inches, but they'll give it to him.
Was I guess it's hard for me to tell, but I guess they decided he made it and the Steelers will escape.
They get to 11 to know here with a victory 19 to 14 over the Baltimore Ravens.
Everyone for tuning in Got a podcast episode to record later tonight.
So I gotta save my voice.
I'll see you guys next time.
