Yes, we are, Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Ray.
That man is Connor.
He's the commentary in together we are DPM commentary A SportsCastr featured podcast Ladies and gentlemen, tonight we're gonna be talking about how Jerry Jones thinks that Denver using a wide receiver is a quarterback is no different than Dallas starting Ben DeNucci.
We're going to talk about how hiring map Patricia is not a priority for Bill Belichick.
We're gonna look at how the Patriots nikkila Harry is not doing himself any favors.
There are rumors that rave in players were going to strike if they were forced to play on Tuesday.
We don't wanna **** off D K.
Metcalf and Matthew Stafford.
Stafford just wants to talk about football.
But before we get into that, I'm gonna say this to people number one.
I know that for those of you who are listening to the podcast and watching live on SportsCastr the titles about Jerry Jones, and that will be the story that we're starting with.
For those of you on YouTube.
McKeel Harry, story will be the third.
Connor, How are you, sir? Good man.
What's going on? How we doing today? Very, very well, actually.
We had a snowstorm last night.
We did you first implement riel.
Inclement weather of the season.
Did you see? I want to say a good foot and a half of snow.
Oh, yeah. We had to get plows.
And I was so happy.
Some kid came by my house today and said me and my friend are shoveling driveways for $10 and I paid him I don't have cash, but he had paper on my paypal intent. He did a good job.
Hey, kids, trying to make a buck cleanup.
Did you see the snow in Russia? No.
They had over two weeks worth of snow in, like, a two day period.
Really? They literally We're like digging out cars where the snow was, like, 6 ft over the car.
Really? Yeah. It was crazy.
If you guys got time, go check out the snowstorms in Russia.
It's absolutely just mind blowing.
And it's only December 1st it is. I mean, it's nuts.
Oh, I'm gonna do.
Got to do a quick apology to the people who normally watches on Facebook the last two shows.
For some reason, I forgot to put it on Facebook.
We are back on Facebook tonight that There we go.
What's up, Facebook? What's up? All right, man.
What do you What do you What do you thinking about today? Nothing.
But I I saw that you found my first ever YouTube video today of my original stand up comedy in my buddies ba*****t.
Man, what did you think? I told me it was terrible.
Well, let's listen.
Listen, let's see, right? First of all, I'm just like I just clicked on YouTube.
I was gonna actually just listened like a podcast on YouTube today that I listened to and it's something to wrestle with Bruce Pritchard.
By the way, if anybody is like an old school 19 nineties, like an attitude era wrestling fan, Perfect podcast.
Listen, I'm going on the look, but all of a sudden, on my recommended for you, I see Connor commentary stand up special.
And I'm like, What the hell is this? And it's you doing stand up in your ba*****t and I just first of all, your arms look absolutely jacked in that in that video, like your arm just like, huge like, it looks like you were just like, lifting weights for hours.
Yeah, but you look muscular.
Just, like, jacked up, right? Like they were just huge, like your arms were big.
Um, listen, I'm gonna describe your stand up comedy career the same way my comedy career is.
Yeah, my wife always says that I'm a really, really funny guy when it's off the cusp stuff.
I tried to have a stand up comedy career, believe it or not, did some shows, and I yeah, and did some open mics.
And it didn't go the greatest because I'm much better at just one offs and one liners and playing off of people.
I'm not good at coming up with jokes.
You're the very first joke on your first special.
By the way, guys, there's three of them.
Okay, I e put the links.
There was three of them.
I put the links to two of them on Twitter at d p N Underscore Ray, but you could go over the counter commentaries YouTube page.
It's just the greatest in, like, three minutes long.
Yeah, just go all the way back.
His buddy is filming it and the camera's shaking.
And then Conner yells at him because he took a vacation and just absolutely phenomenal.
But your first joke that Tom Brady joke.
I just kept waiting for the punch line, and it never came.
What a couple of things you said were funny, man.
But you, my wife and I watched them, and I was just like I was.
I was laughing for a different I wasn't laughing at you.
I was laughing because you never told me about this.
Like this was something you tried to bury.
And I found it and got so excited, decided I had to share it with world.
But you are much better at the one offs like I am, That's the whole thing.
It's that witty off the cusp humor.
It's your little one liners.
The thing is, if you did a comedy go look at like a guy like Jimmy Carr, because if you designed your stand up career like that, we're just one liner after one liner after one liner, you'd probably be hilarious because that's the kind of comedy you are.
It's like me. It's just those one liners.
As you kept going through your story, I kept going.
All right, Can I get to the punch line? And then and then you switch out And I was like, Where is the punch line? And it was done with, like, old school I movie.
I loved it, man. I was.
It was whatever whatever we were using in his ba*****t.
Hey, that's how I got started even before podcasting.
That was before I even did a podcast and I started the podcast.
So you did in August of 2019.
So you started you Did you do stand up or you just don't stand up in the ba*****t? No, I was just trying to do it in the ba*****t.
No audience? No, not the audience with with the biggest ass like podcast.
Mike, I've ever That microphone wasn't plugged into anything.
No, you could see it was turned off.
It's a podcast, Mike.
And the best part was you would talk if this was the mike.
If you were, you were talk like into it.
And then you would do this and keep talking and then bring it back.
And you were talking with your mike hand.
It was absolutely amazing.
Just it's You guys have to see it.
If you haven't seen it over the counter commentary and check it out, it's like his first video check out corners.
Tick talks to some of the earlier ones.
Like your impression of somebody if they to call Fenway a nug Lee Park? Yes, Z really old.
Yeah, well, you had longer hair there.
Like how old is that? That's got to be an old, uh I wanna say that's four or five years old.
So you look like a young kid.
I was a young kid that scratch your mike O e Um, Yeah.
You look like a young and you look drunk to that.
I think, Yeah, you were definitely at a party of some sort, but it was really good.
Alright, man, we've wasted seven minutes and 46 seconds of these people's lives.
Should we jump into our first story of the day? All right, So the owner of the Dallas Cowboys, Jerry Jones, believes that the Denver Broncos, using a practice squad wide receiver, is a quarterback is no different than the Cowboys starting Ben DeNucci.
Now I do want to remind everybody that Benda knew she played quarterback in college.
He was drafted as a quarterback in the seventh round.
And if you think that Jones believes that Denver starting Kendall Hinton is the same thing as the Dallas starting DeNucci, I don't know.
He basically, he said he didn't know if Denver had any more challenges than they had, and I know that that seems like a ridiculous statement, and it really is ridiculous.
So when she knew she had is one start against the Eagles, he had 21 completions for 180 yards, zero touchdowns, zero interceptions, but he did lose a couple of fumbles.
Hinton start last week against I got to say, the NFC first seed New Orleans Saints, he went one for nine for 13 yards and two interceptions.
That's the difference between starting a quarterback in Ben DeNucci in a wide receiver and Kendall Hinton.
I do want to point out, too, that the news.
You played the Eagles defense, so it's ranked 14th.
According to Pff, the Saints that the practice squad wide receiver got to throw against is rated fifth.
The Cowboys in Broncos situation.
That was very different, obviously, right? The Dallas Cowboys were dealing with injuries.
Dak Prescott goes out for the year.
Um, it was It was really just ugly.
Ugly injury to the ankle.
It wasn't what a Tony Romo call it.
I hope it's just a It was just a just a It wasn't a cramp.
And then Andy Dalton, who they signed to be the backup.
One of their quarterbacks contracts Cove in 19.
The other ones don't follow protocols.
Um, you know, Dude, I gotta ask you, though, like Jerry Jones seems to be one of those guys who likes to go hard at the league, you know, he felt that the deflate gate penalty was strong enough for the Patriots, and they should have been punished.
And then yet, when Ezekiel Elliott got suspended for six games, he had a little suck attack.
And it seems like every.
And then he went on a crusade, trying to not renew Roger Goodell's contract to the point that he was gonna get lawyers.
Doesn't it seem like Jerry Jones sits on a high horse when it comes to the Dallas Cowboys? And when it comes to everybody else's Jerry Jones, just a little bit of that spoiled brat? Yeah, pretty much, man.
He's just kind of a loud mouth.
He's always got something to say about everything.
Um, he's the most well known owner, and I don't know if it's because of its the Cowboys, who? I don't know what they shouldn't be considered anymore.
But are America's team.
I'm doing quotation marks over here because that's what everyone says.
They're America's team, but I think it's just because he's constantly saying stuff to the media.
I think that's an absurd statement. Hinton.
I don't even remember his first name and begin.
I know it begins with a K and you said it.
He wasn't even Yeah, Kendall Hinton.
He wasn't even on a team at any position until about Saturday.
Uh, Saturday, probably the middle of the afternoon.
Prior to that, he was on the practice squad this entire time, and he's comparing him to a guy that was practicing as a quarterback for the NFL.
For the Cowboys.
New the playbook as a quarterback knew what plays to run has probably already run multiple reps.
And he's comparing that to a guy that they literally just threw out there on like a day's notice and was like, Hey, you're a quarterback in the NFL now.
Good luck now, Prior to this season, I think a lot of people looked at the Dallas Cowboys is a really good team, and there was a lot of people in all of myself included that they were sort of a sleeper team in the NFC.
That could come away is the top of the NFC.
Obviously, things that went off the rails since Dak Prescott injury, but I'll also argue that things weren't great when Dak was already there and it wasn't Dax fault.
He just felt like he was trying to do it all on his own.
Ezekiel Elliott having a bad season.
Rest of the offense is doing OK.
Offensive line is terrible.
But one thing that really led Dallas down this year is their defense.
Their defense was just They're basically irrelevant out there.
And I'm just wondering, Are are you surprised? I mean, let's take I mean, they're last in the NFC East, I think There what, three and four on the season right now.
But outside of just what things happen after deck, let's start from Week one and on.
Are you surprised that they've had such a bad season? I'm very surprised that they had such a bad season.
I honestly thought they might have an opportunity to go all the way to the Super Bowl.
I was very high on the Cowboys to start the year.
The defense's astronomically worse than I thought they would be.
I don't think the defense was gonna be like lights out, but I didn't think they were gonna be one of the dead.
Last defense is in the entire league.
I also thought the offense was gonna be phenomenal.
Which Dak Prescott look great.
I feel bad for him again.
I know we've said that, but he was off to an MVPs type season.
I thought Zeke was gonna be a lot better than he's been.
Amara Cooper has been very hit or miss, but he's still been good.
I feel like it's taken a big step back.
He's been all mostly relevant this year, and then one of the bright spots has been CD lamb CD.
Lynn has performed as a bookie's look really good, but I thought they'd They'd be much higher up on the totem pole right now.
Man, I'm I'm very surprised that their records this bad So we wanna thank everybody that's here watching DPM commentary right now Thank you to everybody who is downloaded the podcast.

Alright, Connor, Let's get into this next story here, and basically Bill Belichick was asked about the possibility of bringing back Matt Patricia.
As we know Matt Patricia was fired as the head coach of the Detroit Lions along with Bob Quinn or general manager.
Both former Patriots and Bill Belichick basically said that hiring that Patricia is not a priority for him right now.
He's focusing on improving from the mistakes that they made in the Arizona game, and they got to play the Chargers out in Los Angeles, which is gonna be a tough game.
He also made a couple of interesting comments.
He said that the defense of staff right now work really well together, and they all have a lot of responsibilities.
And he made sure to add him that they've done a really good job since Matt Patricia left.
Now, Patricia was the Patriots defensive coordinator between 2000 and 12 and 2017, and he's had a really up and down time as the defensive coordinator in 2012.
The Patriots defense, ranked 25th in 13 2026th, made a massive improvement in 2014 and one of the 13 top rated defense in 2015 and 2016.
They were top tens at 9th and 8th altogether, and in his final year as the defensive coordinator, they dropped all the way down to 29th.
But I do wanna also point out that that's year that Dont'a Hightower suffered a season ending injury.
And I believe that the Patriots are a different team without Hightower.
But, of course, you cannot forget that 2000 and 17 Super Bowl against the Philadelphia Eagles, Nick Foles went 28 for 34 for 373 yards and three touchdowns.
The Eagles also ran the ball for 164 yards and a touchdown.
The Patriots defense gave up a total of 538 yards in that loss, and then Matt Patricia leaves.
He goes over to take the lines.
Bryan Flores steps in the Patriot of the 21st.
Best defense or worse defense anyway.
You wanna look at it, Flores, but don't take away what they did in that Super Bowl, and then Steve Belichick takes over in 2019 and they become the best now in 2020 with Steve Belichick there.
And we know what Steve Belichick because, well, Bill Belichick let it slip there.
The 16th ranked defense.
But I think we need to acknowledge that they lost Kyle van Noy.
They lost the land and Roberts.
They lost Jamie Collins.
They traded Duron Harmon.
Patrick Chung opted out of the season, and the most important piece of defense.
Dont'a Hightower, opted out for the season.
Connor, can you blame the coaching staff from the dip from first to 16th? Or do you think that they've done the best they can with the personnel that's available to them? I think they're doing a pretty good job.
I mean, they stopped Lamar Jackson.
They stopped Tyler Murray this season.
They've had a couple of games where they haven't looked great.
Obviously, I mean, the 40 Niners game, the entire team just got ran over.
Um, they kind of struggled a little bit on the Broncos, although they held him out of the end zone.
But I don't think it's been as much the coaching as much as it is just kind of the lack of talent, especially up the middle.
They miss Hightower big time.
Do you think there's any need for Matt Patricia right now in New England? No, I I think it's, uh, best to leave him in the past.
You know what I mean? I'm all set with them bringing them back.
I like Steve Belichick.
They have Gerard Bayo there.
I want to keep going in that direction.
No, no need to visit the past.
I don't think so.
Josh McDaniels left for Denver to be the head coach and went terribly awful.
He came back his offensive coordinator, and it worked out really well.
That brought it.
What? Three more Super Bowls for the Patriots after that? You don't think Matt Patricia could have the same impact on the Patriots this time around? Or do you think it's something totally different situation? Um, that's a good point.
That's definitely a really good point.
I'm really even thought about it like that, But I've never been crazy about Magic Patricia.
For whatever reason, I really have never been that high on him.
I like Brian Floor is better.
To be honest with you, I don't know.
I just don't think that bringing him back would be good at this point.
I think Steve Belichick's young he's getting ready to kind of, hopefully somewhat takeover Gerard Mayo's young.
He seems to be enjoying it.
I just don't see the point to bring him back.
One of the things that interested me in Belichick's answer was he talked about how the defensive coaches really work well together and get along together.
They all have a lot of responsibility, and they and even wanted to point out they've done a really good job since Matt left.
Is that Belichick in his way? Kind of saying, You know, we don't wanna bring back map Patricia's personality and attitude to that coaching staff because everything's telling Right now.
We saw the disaster, that he was in Detroit with his personnel.
We don't know what he was like with the personnel when he was here, but Belichick would know that.
Does he look at it now and go? You know, this is just gonna disrupt What's a pretty good coaching staff? Yeah, yeah, exactly.
And I don't really see the need to visit that.
I'm sure he's probably you never know what Belichick thinking, but he's probably thinking the same thing at this point.
Why even go out and stir the plot and bring him back? There's just no need for it.
Well, let's talk about another guy on the New England Patriots that is under a lot of heat right now.
Nikkila Harry has the unique where is in the unique position that he is the Onley wide receiver ever taken in the first round of the Bill Belichick era in New England that also brings on unique expectations and unique pressures.
And when you go over the last little wild Nick, you'll Harry is now starting to carry that label of draft bust.
And his play in 2020 hasn't necessarily helped him. None.
If we look at his 2019 record, he had two separate injuries.
Started the season on the I R.
He only played seven games for the Patriots.
He went 12 for 24 for 105 yards and two touchdowns.
Not what you expected of your first round draft pick, but I gave him a little bit of a past last year because Tom Brady made it very clear that he didn't wanna work with rookies.
He didn't see it as his responsibility to coach up the rookies.
He wanted to throw the veterans.
Josh McDaniels admitted that he didn't do a great job of getting to kill Harry involved in the game.
Okay, get in the past the 2020 season.
I think we all said McKeel, Harry needs to take a huge step.
You and I talked about that in the offseason.
Akil Harry needs to take that step.
They signed Cam Newton.
Cam Newton wants toe work with him, wants to mentor him a very different situation that he had with with Tom Brady last year and nine games this season, he's made 24 catches for 213 yards and one touchdown.
Pro football Focus has him ranked 110th overall of all receivers.
His greatest 58.
91 of the arguments is Hey, Nikkila here is a beast in the run blocking game, his run blocking Greatest 41.
4, which is well below the league average.
It feels like the last few weeks that he's just all these Air Force to ac***ulate penalty yards rather than contribute on the field.
And I think at this point Nick Eel, Harry or anybody who's been sort of in a keel Harry defender, which you and I have, we're kind of running out of excuses for him.
Now, I'm gonna ask you a bold question, but before I ask you that bold question, I want to make sure we explore this properly.
Okay, So let me ask you a couple, let me ask you these two questions first, trying to make sure that I don't jump the gun with this ball.
You don't jump the gun in this discussion with your answer.
Is this a situation where Josh McDaniels isn't doing enough to get McKeel Harry involved in the game plan? That's a good question.
I don't know if he's deliberately not getting him involved because he doesn't like what he's seen.
You know, I I know the past two weeks.
He's only basically ac***ulated penalties.
I don't know if in practice he's not doing that well, so they're deliberately not really giving him that many opportunities.
Or if Josh McDaniels is just going in another direction or if he's out there and they're just not throwing the ball because he's not getting any separation.
So I don't know if that's it or not.
Okay, another question for you and again, guys, it's I'm gonna ask a ball questions.
I wanna make sure I ask the right questions first, so we talked to sell properly.
My next question is, and I'm not.
I can already see the comments I'm not alluding to. This is what's happening.
It's just the question I'm gonna ask, maybe Connors when you got to send the comments to depending on his answer.
But when you start looking at the situations that Nikkila Harry has been in, he starts with Tom Brady, who wanted nothing to do with him.
So he gets Cam Newton, who wants to work with him.
But Cam Newton, I think it's fair.
It has been inconsistent this season.
We broke it down last night that every second, you know, basically half his games this year have been inconsistent.
He still looks like he's trying to learn the offense a little bit.
His reads have been a little bit off.
Is this a situation where perhaps if you put in a keel Harry somewhere else with either a more stable quarterback situation or a quarterback willing to work with with rookies, couldn't Akil Harry be performing a little bit better than he is now? Oh, definitely.
I mean, he definitely could be.
I mean everyone obviously likes to compare him to D. K. Metcalf.
We've heard that comparison one billion times.
I mean, if he would have be on the Seattle Seahawks and having Russell Wilson continuously working with him and continuously throwing to him, would he be better? I mean, there's a very good chance he could be.
I don't know if he would be D.
K. Metcalf. He probably wouldn't be.
But his numbers are very low to say that he couldn't have somewhat of an improvement by playing with Mawr.
Consistent quarterback over the past two years, he probably would be.
How much better do you think he would be? That's a good question.
It probably depends on where you put him in, who you put him with.
And you know, Russell Wilson would probably obviously be one of the best people because I'm sure he loves the work with the rookies.
I know they said that he went on vacation with D K.
Metcalf last night when I was watching the game and they were saying, I think he asked Metcalfe if he brought like his playbook or something like I was like, You're kidding.
I brought my helmet but that's also on the receiver.
Did you hear that at the gate on the game when he said that I didn't know it was something along.
Those lines in that Metcalfe brought brought his helmet.
So it was the same thing with Tom Brady and like Julian Edelman, of course, I think like Tom Brady helped make Julian Edelman better.
But Julian Edelman also putting all of that work constantly going toe all those practices constantly wanting to do that, so I think that could help him elevate it.
But at the end of the day, it's personal responsibility as well.
So it's a little bit of both.
Okay, it's now time for the bull question.
Your bold take where you know, coming to the tail end of his sop****re season in the NFL, clear that he didn't take the step that we were looking for.
Not in a great position.
Now I do wonder.
Actually, I'm gonna rewind and ask you one more question.
Let's keep the people on the hook.
Let's get a dramatic air.
Let's talk about this situation one more time in a difference factor.
Right now Jacoby Meyers is playing is the Patriots number one wide receiver and in fairness of Jacoby, Meyers took a big step from last year to this year, and and he took advantage of his opportunity and basically said, No, I'm gonna be the number one We have both discussed that Jacoby Meyers Wood be way better suited is the number two on the team.
If the Patriots had a true number one and then Jacoby Meyers is a true number two to take a lot of that attention away.
Because defense's don't respect the Patriots passing game, we're starting to see them play a little bit more attention to Jacoby Meyers.
Hence why his numbers go down against Arizona, even in a system where they're stacking the box question for you, though, if they had a legit one, Jacoby Meyers and now Nikkila Harry is coming into that number three.
Could we see maybe Nikkila Harry in a better position to contribute a little bit more to this offense because I think that's fair.
Is is that Nikkila? Harry will probably never be a guy who's gonna dominate this offense, right, But could he contribute better? Right.
I think he could contribute better as a number three.
Obviously, it would just take any attention away from him.
It's much easier when you have two other people that they were concerned on and you're the third option.
But I don't think they drafted him to be of the number three guy.
But if that was the situation, I think he would probably be a little bit better.
Yeah, okay, well, you don't think they drafted to be the number three guys.
So now it's time for the ball question.
Two years hasn't improved.
I had a whole set up that I was going to do, and I ruined it by going on.
Haven't asked another question at this point going into Week 13 of the 2020 season of his sop****re year.
He's carrying around the label, but it's a label that you and I have not put on him.
Do you consider Nick Eel Harry a draft bust? That's definitely a good question.
Um, he's on his way to be man.
Obviously, we both gave him a pass last season.
Brady wasn't too crazy about working with him.
He got very limited opportunities when he came back.
You know, this season it was kind of a big opportunity for him.
Cam Newton wanted to work with everybody.
Hey gave everyone nicknames.
He was looking for people to play with.
I feel like he wanted someone to come out there and I don't know what happened with the Kill Harry.
He didn't put in the work.
He didn't take the steps needed to be taken.
I don't know if he's still banged up or injured or if he's just not as good as we hoped he'd be.
Um, obviously two years.
It's still kind of a short amount of time, even though it seems like it's not.
But if he doesn't step up and start producing something pretty soon, they're gonna have to cut ties with them.
I think coming into next year's training camp, if he doesn't look good, he could be potentially on the chopping block for not making the team.
So we'll we'll see.
But if if he stays on this trajectory and doesn't make a big stride forward soon, he's gonna end up being a draft bust.
I have seen on Twitter to a lot of fans, Patriot fans in particular, saying it's just time to cut him.
It wouldn't even hurt the team I'm not there yet on.
And even if I was there, I would wait till next year at this point in time. Percent.
What? The Patriots being solo on wide receiver? Cutting them this year doesn't make any sense.
Yeah, definitely not.
I mean, I think it's gonna be very interesting if the Patriots go out there and start signing a lot of talent next season at the receiver position.
What's gonna happen when there's, you know, Belichick loves competition in training camp, so when they have a training camp, there's gonna be a lot of competition.
I feel like, yeah, and we got to see what kind of talent is gonna bring in to surround whoever the quarterback for New England Patriots is next year.
Now, we have completely overshot our time tonight.
We have three stories that we're not even going to get to.
But before I get into my three rapid questions that I wanted to finish this show off with, I'm gonna bet up 1.
2 because I know that a lot of people are going to listen to this podcast that's just on YouTube, and we're gonna get a lot of we could have had d k.
We could have had DK.
Everyone could have had DK.
Everyone could have Brady.
Everyone could have had it.
Oh, man, Everyone could have had everyone.
For the most part, I also want to point out that eight wide receivers were taken before D. K. Metcalf.
Now most of them good.
Don't get me wrong.
But marquees Brown was the first receiver taken by the Baltimore Ravens.
He hasn't had a great, awful year this year.
This year second was Nikkila Harry Deebo.
Samuel was after that down pretty good.
The guy who could be actually the best receiver out of that is Tennessee's A J.
Brown is a star Nicole Hardman, who I think had a bit of a drop off since last season.
Philadelphia then took J.
I'm just gonna say white side because I always first part, and he took Paris Campbell from the Ohio State University.
But Paris Campbell's hurt all the time.
He's never on the field.
So almost all those teams minus maybe Tennessee in Kansas City and I guess we'll throw San Francisco Deebo.
Samuel dealt with some injury this year, but of all those teams would have been better off with D. K.
Metcalf. I also wonder if D.
K. Metcalf is not playing with Russell Wilson.
Does he have the same success, right? The same way? I say if Tom Brady doesn't get drafted, the Patriots as he turned into Tom Brady? Probably not, because he probably never gets an opportunity to start that, too.
Yep, there's a lot of things that go into this, you know what I mean? There's a lot of other outside factors everyone just like to look at, like one little thing.
But there's so many things that play into it.
So we like I said, Guys, we went way above time tonight.
We're not going to get to our Stafford story.
We're not going to get to our d.
Metcalf story that I wanted to talk about how he just absolutely destroyed the Eagles last night for 10 catches for 178 yards or 77 yards or some of that.
He just bullied them.
He's bullied a bunch of teams this season, and we're not going to get into my Matthew Stafford story, which probably only would have interested me because I'm a little bit of a Matthew Stafford Fanboy, as people know.
S O Connor, I got three rapid questions for you that I'm gonna throw at you and know.
Set up? No. Nothing. I was gonna ask you the questions.
You get your answers.
Okay? So Steve Young says that nobody wants to watch a game without Lamar Jackson, and the game should be canceled.
After we watched the New England Patriots play Kansas City without new Cam Newton on the Broncos.
Literally played with no quarterback on Sunday.
Is this a stupid take from Young? Yes, Yes, very much so.
I mean, why would he come out and say no one wants to watch them if they don't have Lamar Jackson that nobody wants to watch the Cowboys if they don't have Dak Prescott.
Nobody wants to watch the Patriots.
If they don't have Cam Newton and nobody want.
If Patrick Mahomes does somehow gets injured that nobody wants to watch the chief Cit's, it's all the same stuff.
I don't know why they making the big deal about this than any of the other teams.
The NFL ordered a two day closure of all facilities on Monday and Tuesday to slow the spread of Cove in 19.
Unless you had a game, then you had to play.
Is the NFL now just patronizing their players by coming up with this kind of plan? They are a cluster.
You know what, Right now, man.
And that's just the top down I've We've talked about this weeks and weeks and weeks ago how they've had so much time to prepare and, like, make all of these different arrangements.
What will we do if this happened? What would we do if that happened? And now they're just running out of places to put people put running out of teams and where to put them in time to put them.
So they're playing Wednesday afternoon all of a sudden, and it's just a disaster right now.
I voted for Stefan Gilmore today for the Pro Bowl because I felt it was my duty as a Patriots fan to do it.
Plus, he promised a Retweet if I did it, and he hasn't done it yet, and it's something that I wanna flex.
But does Stefan Gilmore actually deserve to go to the Pro Bowl this year? Onley.
If it's behind J.
Jackson should absolutely make it above him.
I think Gilmore has been good.
He hasn't been great.
Last season, he was above grade. He was phenomenal.
Ladies and gentlemen.
