So be sure check back this Thursday were about your game this Thursday.
Thursday night football contest picks Thanksgiving.
Yeah, I haven't got a chance to take a look at, but with three games, I guess we're gonna have a nice pool.
Uh, I'm gonna I'm gonna start diving in that tomorrow.
A lot going on there on Thursday.
I'll talk about a couple of developments that have happened here this afternoon, but you need to keep a nigh on for your your fantasy team.
You know, your fantasy fans teams, your props, whatever it might be, but yeah, Thanksgiving's here.
I got my my cowboys gear on uh, broke it out last week for the first time, we got a victory.
I'm not superstitious.
I'm a little bits dishes.
So I figured I'd, uh, keep the Cowboys gear going, you know? Hey, we're one game out of the playoffs, alright? Three and seven.
So it's not bad.
Not bad at all, because there is not looking good at all.
So hey, you're one Aaron Rodgers injury away from the playoffs.
That's that's how it is.
Yeah, that's how it is every year.
I remember that game when he did get injured.
He still killed us, so that was not good.
I was at the 2014 divisional playoff game at Lambeau when he got hurt the week before, limped around the entire game in 20 degree weather against the Cowboys and the dead's catch game.
And, uh, I was like, I thought, Aaron Rodgers, he's not magic. Dude.
Guy could play on one leg.
He here and so much respect that day, you literally have toe.
He has to be out for there to be no chance in him winning a football game.
Yeah, it's crazy, man.
All right, let's kick it off with some out injury outlook.
So what we got to sweep? Yeah.
So, a couple of late injuries last week, guys, you know, DeAndre Swift was a late, late scratch, Kind of unexpected, uh, concussion protocol did not practice today.
Coming up Thursday.
Probably not looking good.
And now looking good now looking good for DeAndre.
So if I'm gonna just go ahead and say he's probably gonna be playing this Thursday, which is a real bummer, he was really starting to come on as a great flex RB two option s.
So I don't expect him, Uh, you know, finding option in your line up.
We'll talk about some additional people later.
Do not pick up Adrian Peterson.
I did that last week.
He got me a real solid 1.
8 points while I sat. J. K.
Dobbins, who finally had the game we were all waiting for, uh, Chris McCaffrey.
Word out of Carolina today is he's not.
He's unlikely to play against the Vikings.
Uh, that shoulder still banged up again.
It's not to me anymore.
The high ankle, right? You know, with the lower leg injury, it's the It's the shoulder.
Now again, they're wanting to be.
I mean, he's their franchise player is potentially the best player in all of football.
They're already on their back up quarterback P.
J. Walker, who look great.
Eso I don't expect to see McCaffrey.
Mike Davis is gonna remain that r b to c R B to conversation.
I mean, the guy has been on the injury report every day, you know, every week for the last 10 years, and he got in the league.
It just depends how he feels that day.
If he feels good on Sunday, he's gonna go.
It's always risky.
Um, he's a guy you gotta have a backup for when it comes at this time of the season.
He stayed today with a hamstring.
Yeah, it's it's really going to depend how he's feeling.
Um, so it let Zo That's one.
To keep an eye on, uh, juju, the weirdest injuries of the weekend.
So 2020 he got injured, rolled his ankle, stepping on a penalty flag on, didn't come back in on didn't practice today.
So with them coming up Thursday, they already have Claypool.
They already have Deontay Johnson do Jews really pushing towards the doubtful with the short week turnaround.
So keep an eye on that.
I don't expect to see you.
Do you Do you do out there on Thursday night? Um, and some good news we got, we got, eh, killer back in practice today again.
I don't He's how the how how the new IR system works.
Guys, you get IR, you're on.
I offer three weeks your designated return.
You've heard me use that term a couple of times.
You start practicing, and then the team has three weeks to activate you to the to the roster.
Um, and if they don't activates with Russia, then you're out for the season.
So, eh, Killers now designated to return these back of practice off to the sidelines, doing minimal drills.
I do fully expect him to come back this year.
I don't know if it's gonna be this week or not.
Won't know until Friday.
Potentially won't know till Sunday.
Just depends on how the, uh, you know, the their lineups need the work.
You know, they could only have 33 men on the roster for a game, so keep it on Heckler.
He's in your playing them.
The charges of Great Herbert looks great from a fantasy standpoint.
They're losing those close games still, But from a fancy standpoint, heckler with With Herbert man, it's, you know, fantasy fireworks, right? All the way that that offense is gonna be fun to watch here in the future.
Andan Another one talked about him last week.
Zach Ertz wasn't able to suit up last week.
He's in Week two of that designated return again.
If you're in a tough spot with your tight end, I can't promise you you're gonna get Top 10 tied in production.
Out of Urge this year because Carson wins is still bad.
He's still not a good quarterback, but there's nobody else you're gonna find to fill that spot at this time of the year that can put up top five top three titled number.
So use a waiver claim if you wish, but he's somebody that if you can, I stash him.
If you you have a open roster spot on the bench just in case because he gets hot, winds gets hot, they have a really favorable schedule.
The back in here Hey, could be somebody that you know really put you over at that tight end spot because that has been such a weak area this year.
Aside from Travis Kelsey, who is basically, you know, he's a he's drafted like a wide receiver.
I mean, he puts up numbers like a wide receiver.
I think he would be like wide receiver.
Six wide receiver five s.
Oh, yeah, he's a cheat.
Um, s oh, yeah, urges their fifth.
You need him? Uh, and then even bigger picture guys Thursday s.
So I'm not sure if you've seen the news rich, but Baltimore has had 10 positive Kobe cases.
Five players, five staff members.
That's not good coming into a Tuesday for a short week game.
Um, I I think based on the information, I'm seeing that if they get a number of additional positive players, I'm talking to three mawr that games in serious serious risk of being postponed, if not potentially canceled.
Um, where you know, if the if the outcome doesn't matter for playoff seeding, that game might not get played on this in the week 18 that they've been discussing.
K Dobbins Mark Ingram already ruled out for that game.
I don't know the names of the other players.
Um, so keep an eye on that.
We're gonna talk, you know, on the waiver wire.
A bit about another Baltimore Ravens guy that's gonna jump to the top of the list because the German Dobbins air out.
But keep on eye on that.
If you have heavy Steeler lineup, if you have heavy Ravens lineup, you gotta be careful because we're getting into that weird area right now where this this game might not happen.
So, yeah, that's crazy, Man e.
We have a full slate of games this week, so there's no buys.
So that's crazy.
It's been a while.
Yeah. Fun, little stat.
I heard from Steve Levy on Monday.
There's never been a team that's had a week 13 by week S o Tampa Bay's Week 13 by week.
Well, be officially the latest bye week that has ever happened.
Um, coupled with there being no by weeks this week, we know that a lot of this was because of the shuffle earlier in the season that come in the NFL for I mean, we've only what they had toe Cancel one game and they had to move around four or five.
Uh, that's a hell of a job.
I mean, you know, we came in here week one.
We were like, covert protocol.
We don't know Tennessee Titans.
They don't showed up looking like the ST Louis Cardinals with the whole team tested positive.
So, um, the NFL has done a really good job again.
It comes down to the teams and all that, but, uh, yeah, no buys this week.
So where's, uh, no buys.
But where's your Where's your lineup gap at this week? Where? What do you need to fill, man? Um, I lost last week, so it was pretty rough because I had a bunch of guys, so it was, like, pretty bad.
So I'm clawing my way to, like, the playoffs because I'm pretty good on one league.
I'm like, second, almost third.
I'm, like, tied in second.
So my one league and the other one, I'm, like, maybe fourth so I might climb away.
But, man, I just need probably like probably no, I've got cubes.
Maybe, uh, by receiver, probably.
But a couple of great options this week.
Uh, especially if you need to flex or running back a guaranteed 15 points.
I think this week if the game goes off his Gus Edwards theme, the Ravens absolutely gashed the Steelers a couple weeks ago to the tune of 236 yards.
Granted, some of that was Lamar, something that was Dobbin, something that was the Ingram.
But again, 86 of that was once Gus Edwards.
Who's been seeing some just blocking work, I expect.
It's a not a favorable matchup for the Ravens with the Pittsburgh Steeler defense, However, that way they're playing Lamar.
It's a been don't break.
They don't wanna give Lamar that big play.
They're going to give him four or five yards of carry.
Gus is going to get those touches.
I'm saying he's good for 80 and a touchdown, no matter what.
Um, but that's if he plays.
So if if you're sitting there, you need a running back to fill in.
You need a flex? Uh, I'm I'm waste.
I'm using ah waiver claim for a one week flyer on Gus Edwards because Dobbins an Ingram would likely be back in the next couple weeks.
And, uh, Edward is not a horrible guy to have on your bench, But I would not typically say, Hey, go out and waste the waiver claim on somebody.
This is the week that especially if you need to win.
I don't see a lot of guys you can pick up on the waiver wire that they're gonna give you.
Write your top 10 running back finish.
Um, and it's Thanksgiving.
You're gonna get a chance to watch your guy on TV.
You're gonna be drunk.
You're gonna be full.
Why not enjoy your You know Gus Edwards punching it in from the one yard line with with the turkey leg in your mouth.
So Gus Edwards, my number one waiver wire pickup this week.
I know you mentioned you need a wide receiver.
If you were watching last week or listen to me last week, my favorite wide receiver was Michael Pittman.
Uh, Michael Pittman.
Again, he starting toe look like, uh, the guy that Philip Rivers wants to throw to when the game's on the line.
Um, targets were down last week, but he did a lot within three catches, 66 yards and a touchdown.
You got a chance to see, he crossed the entire secondary for a beautiful touchdown, 45 yards.
I see them trying to get him in the game.
Or the better part of that.
What I like about all of it is his snap count was at, like 83%.
So he was on on the field.
83% of offensive snaps there for the Colts.
Uh, they didn't have to throw the ball as much as they needed.
You know, they got a late lead against the against the Packers and were able to just run the around the clock out with with Heinz and Wilkins and on Taylor.
And so you likely see another.
Another couple catches there another 20 yards, but hey, that's a great week for a guy like that who's getting hot at the right time of the year.
The rookie receivers have proven that they could be very viable.
Uh, you know, CD lamp.
Great week last week.
Justin Jefferson puts up great week, week after week.
Tee Higgins stocks down with Borough getting hurt.
But hey, eso, we know these guys can play.
Van Jefferson got his first touchdown in the year last last night with the Rams.
So we're looking at one of the best rookie receiving classes.
Pima was towards the top of that one.
Um, if you see the guy he looks, he just looks like a wide receiver.
They could put up fantasy points, just takes Philip Rivers getting the ball.
So he's my number, my number one receiver coming off just because I like what he's done.
I like the trajectory received.
We got Deebo Samuel in San Francisco coming back this week.
We know that there's been a carousel wide receiver there for.
For those guys, it's, Hey, I can't guarantee you he's gonna be your wide receiver one or wide receiver to He's a safe wide receiver. Three.
If you're dealing with injury, you need to slide somebody in the Flex.
Also, he is, uh, he has only touchdown coming up the ramps.
You know, the the way that Rams defense plays, it's gonna be a lot of dink and Dunk Depot.
Ah, mean, dude, when he gets his hand on the ball, so he's likely available.
Most your leaks.
If you need somebody down the line, I like D boas well, so if you can't get Pippen Debo.
Somebody that you're gonna want a lot wanna line up on, then you know, jumping back Thio.
James, White guy that's traditionally drafted every year.
Really? His points come from the passing game.
He'll see four or five carries a game, you know, just to keep the other team honest.
But he had nine targets last week, you know, six or nine, I think 64 yards might have been 66 yards, but yeah, great week for for for James White.
Even Maurin PPR league, because then you're getting, you know, you're you're looking at double digits.
Um, he's always gonna be touchdown dependent, but he's a safe option if you need it.
And, uh, and again, he's a known commodity.
He's gonna he's gonna get you 78 points a week, no matter what.
So he's Ah, he's again.
When I look at these waivers this week toward the end of the year, I'm only gonna give you guys I think are worth using a waiver wire claim on, um and to wrap it up.
Sterling Shepard Guy, I've talked about a couple of times here over the last few weeks.
Giants wanna buy last week.
I'm sure a lot of people forgot about him.
Most of these leagues, you see, uh, they only show you the projected points, people.
They're playing eso you, don't they? They don't pop to the top of the yahoos.
ESPN s o last week.
Hopefully, you Listen, You got him.
I was able to, uh, but Sterling Shepard.
The Giants are going in tow.
Pretty favorable part of their their their season.
Some really favorable matchups, especially in the secondary.
They're getting healthy.
Daniel Jones is starting to look a little better.
Goldman ran the ball pretty well.
Matti Freeman will be coming back.
Darius Layton's back.
Ingram. You know, even in Grams looked OK.
I like ****, but I think he's the number one in that offense.
They're gonna be playing from behind again.
They play in the N F C.
East. So they're not a great football team.
You want that, Danny Dimes, if you don't recall.
You know, last year he finished the season his last 10 games.
I think he was like you before so the guy could put up numbers.
Um, Sterling Shepard is a playmaker.
I think he's, uh he's somebody again.
A lot of great receivers out there this week between Pittman, uh, Debo and certainly shepherd all three guys Not afraid to sleep in my lineup, you know, starting this week.
So So I from that, you know, no buys, but some Cuban, you know, I don't know if you've got injuries.
If you had your sending burrow out there, it's a bummer.
It's not, you know, don't look like we're gonna see Borough to 2022.
They're saying that 12 month injury, um, you busted it broke everything in his knee.
M c l A C l eyes, uh, meniscus had some, you know, some bone bone bruising.
Like they're not even gonna build a cut for a while.
So, you know, thoughts out to Joe.
It's again, never fun to see these top guys go down.
He's proven he's gonna be a star in this league.
Uh, it's but it's looking like we might have to wait till 2022 to see him.
But you don't like to match up.
You're not happy with the production out of your quarterback Derek Carr.
Put another great game together, Uh, this week against Kansas City That's two great games against Kansas City.
If he could just consistently do that, he's somebody that I could I could start every week again.
He's going up against the Falcons.
You've heard me say this lot.
The Falcons secondary is one of the worst in football.
I'm pretty sure Rich could go out there and throw for at least one touchdown.
Um, and then, uh, Andy Dalton.
Now, this Thursday night against the against the Redskins, it's Hey, you wanna watch your quarterback go out there and play? Hey, look great Against the Vikings, the Redskins secondary is not as good as their their interior line.
So again, he's got a lot of weapons.
He's got a lot of weapons. He had a lot of poise.
Uh, they're gonna need to score points, because again, that defense is still not great.
Eso Yeah, those If you need need a couple options Toe Phil on Ben Daniel Jones.
I talked to him, talked about him.
He's somebody like his schedule down the line.
So if you're hurting, you wanna take a shot? You wanna put him on your bench on, Just see what happens.
You wanna get that backup quarterback.
Those are the three guys I'll be focusing on this week.
So we had new stuff on her horizon, and, uh, let's see, we can follow us on Twitter.
We have a new handle, same name, but it's at S y S s FF lifeline.
You can follow us on Twitter.
Um, it just looks more efficient.
It looks so more official.
And you know, some new stuff, guys, you know, here, we're coming up on 2012.
Uh, next week, the week 13.
Then we'll be working in the fantasy playoffs here.
I know not everybody is still, you know, in the game.
I appreciate everybody that's followed us all year.
Aziz, we wind down the, you know, the fantasy season.
I'm gonna continue to do this.
Luckily, I'm still playing, so I'll still have some will and want to do it.
You know, come championship week.
If I'm not in it, you're gonna see a real depressed Jordan over here, but, uh, no.
Azzawi work into the playoffs.
Guys, we're gonna be rolling out the new stuff here when you know, from shoot your shot sports.
Uh, you know more.
Based on prop petting and, uh, and some of the, you know, the outlooks.
Maybe a little daily, but probably probably more on the the props on point bedding.
So it's, you know, we're gonna we're gonna keep this going As long as the NFL season goes our, you know, our knowledge is still valuable.
And again, you know, whether you're sucking less or making money, it's all the same.
So keep an eye out for anything.
You know, we're gonna be putting stuff out here.
But just because the fantasy season wraps up doesn't mean we're going.
We're gonna be going anywhere.
Yeah, it would be really exciting.
So stay tuned, guys.
E got nothing else, man.
Uh, enjoy your thanksgiving, and, uh, well, yeah, You'll see my my, my thrive picks.
I'll probably shoot on Wednesday with with, you know, we got 11.
Love that on Thanksgiving Day, fingers crossed.
We're gonna get this Steelers Ravens game.
We've got a great, great set of games, You know, the lions in Houston, they both They both are horrible.
Uh, fun offenses to watch.
You got the Redskins and the Cowboys playing for first place in the NFC East on.
Then you got Hey, Ravens and Steelers.
That's old school football.
We smash mouth and again, fingers crossed.
We'll get to see that, because that Z you know, old old school football, you know, never gets old.
See you guys next week and have a good Thanksgiving, guys.
