Not the mic, because I would have heard you loud and clear.
Yeah, I was same set up as last week.
Schweppes for the wind.
I'm a Schweppes guy myself.
I don't know why I like Canada.
I'm very on the fence when it comes to ginger ale because the only thing I put in my ginger ale is some Jameson.
Irish whiskey. Delicious.
Yes. That's a great combination.
Oh, we got into Canada dry in the house Okay.
That's how the way Andrew Andrews hard work over at B and G.
Glad to have him coming in.
Same thing, dude.
Same thing is going on.

Like I said, patryan dot com slash black and gold hockey podcast.
I will put that in the chat now.
Anything better? I can hear you, but it's not.
It's not any better.
Tallahassee is going on well in Tallahassee.
He comes with a mix of all kinds of avenues.
Yeah, that's weird.
It literally just worked the other night when we recorded No, I can hear you, but it's not like, not like last week.
Did you go into, like settings and make sure that your the microphone is not the computer might get to the yeti? Sometimes Sometimes my computer switches away from that annoying.
So I have to go in and fix it.
Or do you just Is that the link you to shared it? Yeah.
Nice and I, like copy of Gone.
Can I do that? Hair The hell is going on right here.
What is? Is that better? I turned my now all the way up. Anything? No.
Still the same thing changes and **** around.
**** s***bag to everything, right? It's all good.
Well, we could make Dio.
Yeah, I did not.
They dio Now it's gonna **** me off.
I mean, in my own head.
I'm a ****ing mental midget over here.
Yeah, Maybe it's you guys.
Yeah, all right.
No, no, I wouldn't do that.
I would not do that.
So I'll send it 18 18 people.
Billion dollars. Little around seven million.
Thoughts on the deal.
Mawr 600 grand Mar A meeting I was hoping for, but I like anything under four.
I was love anything. One.
Yeah, I I like the deal to it's good two years.
I wonder if it's like some sort of bridge deal, but I have no idea.
It sounds like it's it sounds like it could be that sound like they really want thio do short term.
And what it likes about it is is Don Sweeney mentioned and Jake mentioned in today's interview.
Um, with his presser about the deal was it was because of the due to the cove it times and so on.
They really got together and just mentioned that they let's get something done now.
And we'll revisit this when we can, when we have a little more cap space to deal with and so on.
And you know, this could be a big contract for him because they e mean the depressed camp wanted longer term.
But But with everything that's going on right now, it just that wasn't a reality.
So a two year deal it is.
It is a bridge, but it's just it's a show me now, deal or we're just gonna, in my opinion.
And if if it happens, then if he if he does not show up in the year one of this contract, then use that year as leverage and use his age as Leverage and Movil.
So that's just my.
Before he signed this actual, the deal that he has now was any Elsie, so he's automatically get under a million for at least three seats.
But I thought, Hey, is that working? I can hear you.
It is better a little better ****ing god**** Now mess with you. again.
Now you got to play with the game a little bit all the way up.
Okay, That's good.
It's a little better.
I don't I don't know.
Um anyway, better No, I can hear you.
Just not like it was last Tuesday.
It was all over the place, but it's all right.
Yeah, I like the deal.
I I thought it was gonna be at least 2.
So anything under four like Nick mentioned was was cream cheese for May.
So I'm Yeah, I'm looking forward to Dio Hopefully for HD yet now, versatile player could move up and down like that.
Andrew, I think this is kind of like more so a bridge deal for this upcoming year.
I mean, I don't think he wanted to go inside a one year deal.
What? You know, he e think like next year it's gonna be huge, because, I mean, where the Bruins going into the offseason with, like, 40 million cap space around 44 you're gonna have a lot thio and you know, they're losing some key guys and stuff like that.
And some contracts are up, but that's gonna I mean, that's gonna help.
What's his name? Jesus.
The breast Help to burn hostile help.
A lot of guys dio do Carax contract is up and you know he has.
No, He flirted with the idea of possible retirement after this one.
Go on just that he doesn't plan on the time Good just to **** everyone.
You just see Twitter explode.
And getting those dirty areas, it's just if you had had everyone's player written all over him and he was knocked back then for the for the smallest size and so on, But still, there's just he's e think he's just that young that you can you can really count on him to like and I know everybody thinks that he should have done a lot more in his entry level deal, but it's only been three years in the league, so I want to give him more of an opportunity to prove it.
And I think this small deal is a perfect time to do it.
Yeah, and I think he's grown into his body more to.
He's been more fish towards the receiver, but he does get try to get a little too flashy and kind of leaves his feet a little too much and stuff like that.
He doesn't necessarily.
I don't think that kind of skill to do so now.
Safe for him to do so.
He has a decent reach. He has.
He has great span eyes, you know? He's he's gone on to show that he can play with size too.
Um, he was saying that he what? Working out a lot more This thats offseason stuff like that, folks.
Stronger And what? So I think that I mean, we'll see if that helps.
Think that's gonna help.
Think someone asked Lots of Yeah, Kalusha, Um, I I would like to think so.
I would like to think that with conditioning and working out, it's gonna help him for a longer season.
And I mean, we're not gonna have a longer season this year, but games they're gonna be, you know, more back stuff like that.
They're gonna shoot for 60 game season in 4, 4.5 months.
They even have It's going to be a grind, this upcoming, see, And it definitely won't hurt.
No I hope it helps more than Oh, yeah, Speaking of that nice Segway right there.
But you're talking about if there's gonna be another season.
But Gary Bettman has been quoted on Hockey night in Canada, and that's pretty reputable source right there.
But he says the NHL to return on January 1st, and Arenas will have fans in the stands.
Is that just a PR thing, or is that just absolutely ludicrous? I don't know what the hell that is. That's crazy.
It doesn't make sense.
No, it's It's the drugs air.
Good, Andrew says.
Good. Yeah, that was yesterday.
That was posted yesterday.
And with all the **** that's going on right now, no way you're gonna have fans in the stands without a vaccine.
That that's just it's crazy.
And it's not a football show here, Um, but it kind of reminds me of what's going on with college football and and those guys that just continually toe have the stands not completely full, but pipe dream. I.
I like the direction that they're going.
I like the thought of starting.
It is early possible.
Getting it done is early possible.
He's also talking about an 82 game full schedule.
This is madness six nine.
I think his age is starting to get Thio.
He's a seriously I mean a destruction that by the first the fans and now you want an 82 game season? Um, no way.
I don't see either of those two possible.
Especially, um, you know, arenas being inside.
You see, the NFL is already struggling.
I think it was Denver who announced after this past week that, um, they're not having fans for the rest.
You saw the Patriots There is that haven't fans at all this season.
A bunch of teams are getting rid of fans and stuff.
And, you know, you see the spikes and whatnot.
I just don't see that even being close to a possibility, especially next what, five or six months? Because start January 1st.
I think there's just no way there's kind change in that short it.
He must have been intoxicated during that press conference.
Okay, It's the only logical explanation for that.
Yeah, carbonated **** water.
Jesus e might not look at a bottle of Schweppes.
And next time e Okay, Jerry is gonna be my new crutch.
Maybe I should just hiring for as an intern.
**** on me all day.
Oh, no, I wouldn't do that just half the day after day.
That's not Yeah, I think it's a little too premature right now with everything that's going on and so on, You know, 82 games, probably 21 22.
It happened in 2021.
So, um, yeah, I think he's either high on the gin because he looks like a gin drinker and, uh, possibility.
Ah, little senile.
So he's been a talk to Andrew.
I mean, he's been in house, right? I'm not even joking.
I think he's one of the better commissioners.
And I believe I believe you're right.
And from weeks after you have after your NHL p A.
Was blindsided by the owners.
There's, like, commission and stuff.
What surprises me about him.
What surprised me about him is his background, and he came from basketball.
So he was a commissioner over in basketball.
Pretty funny, huh? Wasn't, um the last n b a commissioner, like his understudy or something? David Stern? Yes, and then yeah, Now it's the new guy who I guess everybody likes.
I don't I can't remember his name of top my head.
Not that it's important because I hate basketball.
But say, man, um, yeah, E o over there.
All the other commissioner.
I can't even think of them off the top there.
Yeah, especially that clown in the NFL.
He's just a puppet for the link along with Goodell, then the guy for the MLB.
I mean, he's an absolute, and he was ****faced in the world.
Syria's so that that's one guy who was drinking.
Uh, so Carrie Schweppes that true? Oh, Adam Silver.
Thank you. Andr.
Um, another thing, Dan, for that I got loan to the Czech Republic team.
I literally just read that.
I just put in my notes because I was gonna bring it up. Yeah.
Michael Balboni in the host.
Gentlemen, how's it going? Yeah, What? Do you like to call you Don? Oh, no, I won't say I don't wanna **** off market.
See, it would be a great intern.
I'm telling you.
Yeah, he So he goes over to his native country to get some ice time, some games.
Um this is same thing.
This is good in its bad, because for me it's good that he's continuing his development.
The bad is concerned about the H L coming back this year.
And with these guys on loan, I know that they're coming back for some news.
The NHL training camps start.
Everybody's going back except the pizza Laraque.
He does not have an NHL to a contract.
He can stay his little *****y ass over and wherever he is, So everybody else is everyone's prospect or under a contract like that are and will come full in case something happens over here.
What do your thoughts on his movement? I speculated a little bit on the H L canceling because, I mean the way the East Coast League is doing it and they they rely on assets and the seats is the same way that the American Hockey League does it, and they rely on assesses and seats.
Those guys don't get TV contracts and so on.
So it's gonna be hard no matter what.
So I'm kind of thinking that this could be as it ramps up, could be more often that some players ah, sal***e and some of the season's over where they can in are eligible to play well.
And that kind of would make them unavailable to the NHL team, right? No, they're on loan.
So as soon as they as soon as the NHL team calls, they have to get over here as soon as possible.
And plus, they will have to go through a two week international mandatory international.
So that plays a big part in the day to day chaos that's going on in North America right now with this with this Covic ****.
So they get called up.
Maybe because the player goes down for 23 games.
What's the point of even call them up if they gotta wait two weeks before they could even dress? See, they won't.
That won't happen because they're already be be here.
They won't be overseas.
No, I'm saying, but like what? All right, hold on.
Let me reword that.
So they're coming from overseas, right? They have to quarantine for two weeks.
Yeah, So when have to be over two weeks prior to that? Oh, my question was based on, like, if they're in the middle of the season, or something, and someone gets hurt.
No, they won't be overseas.
Still all be back in North America.
Are you all right? Yeah, but if if if the h l and the NHL somehow do not continue, they can still play where they are at because they're they're on.
It's like a contract or agreement.
It's just alone.
All right, I understand now.
Jesus Christ took a long way to get there.
That's all right, man.
That's what I'm here for.
Just to help out and teach the way as much as best as I can and drink Pink Whitney until I'm blue in the face a chance h o are development.
I don't believe so.
I think that the way that these guys train and so on, I think he's going to be very, very red together and on track.
It's not like the old days when you take months off at a time and then you have to like, really, it takes you half a season to get back up to speed the way these athletes train and with a prepared their bodies and everything, I think they'll be all set.
Um, especially with with everything that's going on with, uh, training.
Coaching? I mean, just having Mike Dunham in this in the room with Bobby Sands are working with the goaltenders has been just an unbelievable tool because the guy goes everywhere.
He's been working with Jeremy swimming, and he basically you know him in Alfie.
Michelle, the if I'm often so on that, they'll be ready to go.
Yeah, and even, like, not just Bruins players and stuff, like even I read the other day that, you know, MK David and Austen Matthews have been skating together like they're all staying in shape even though they're not.
You know, it's not like, more times.
It's so, Yeah, I kind of share your up there.
I share your optimism there for sure.
Well, what team had a handful of positive test today? Oh, that was That was one of them.
That was one of my topics that I left at work, man.
Thank you Were like spying on me.
Is that boosts out the window being like, Hey, what she got on people over there? E have that mine too.
Um, wait a minute.
It was Vegas And the Blue Jackets. Yes.
So TSN Frank, Sarah volley.
He mentioned something about the Vegas Golden Knights.
There were four players that tested positive for the Vegas Golden Knights.
And then today he came out with another article says that there's news going around that a considerable or maybe a significant amount of players for the Columbus Blue Jackets have all tested positive.
But this is this is something that we're gonna have to go through because the NFL has been doing it.
Baseball did it and so on.
If you're gonna play you, you you can't escape this E.
I don't believe that this is gonna be a bubble system anymore.
I believe that they're gonna half the open things up, not to fans and everything like that, but possibly play in their own stadiums.
I think that the way that the Canadian division has gonna have their teams and play and then the Northeast is gonna have their teams and then the wet Midwest and then the in the West are all going to be those teams that just travel around in their own simple bubbles.
No fans in the stands and everything.
You're gonna have cases where you're gonna pop up here and there.
The only thing that will stop this down is if if it goes like wildfire and just goes right through the NHL and there's not that you can't stop it, that's when you're going to shut it down.
Yeah, um, I mean, can make sense while I mean, that's why the alignments kind of the new alignments.
Or, I mean, obviously it's good for one season, maybe two or half the season ever.
But I don't know what you guys isn't good.
We talked about on the pod. Mark.
I don't know what you think about the realignment after visions for the temporary divisions or whatever.
So someone from like Jordy Barstow or whatever said you should be permanent, whatever.
But I wouldn't e would want that as a broom family.
Find him a layup for them.
It makes for now at least.
But it gets you Tampin Toronto out of your division.
And so you don't have to see them in the playoff, you know, every every year or, you know, first off, I don't know what you go ahead, Jerry, Why don't you go? I'm going to do on this one for a little bit.
I didn't mind them at all.
And I like next time we did talk about this on the podcast.
Um, definitely for sure.
We're just a piggyback on what he just That's definitely good to get Tampa and Toronto out of there.
Um, they're obviously they gained like they gained the rangers.
Get in the island. There is, I think.
Well, Alan does not that good, but the Rangers could be a pretty good team.
Flyers? Yeah, some tape.
So there are a little bit scared right now, but I'll take them over and, yeah, the way the divisions lined up for this upcoming season, if that is true, I think it really benefits the Bruins.
And it could kind of maybe even helped, actually with the weekend back.
And, you know, maybe you don't have to go make so you can escape by with, you know, have all right, really have any Hi high powered offense is in that division.
I mean, obviously, you have the capitals, but what are they gonna look like? I mean, there's a lot of unanswered questions with what teams are gonna look like.
A well, but I'll take this.
I'll take these new divisions in.
No, someone else could take Tampa because John Young legs so will probably come out.
But times they start, you know, sometimes they have been notorious for slow starts, especially to grasp what? Not so if we can start in those divisions and not deal with those two teams, that makes me happy.
I don't like to Toronto during the regular season, but in the playoffs they're trying voters, you know, Um, I'll see to get away from Tampa, which which is Tampa.
Who knows what Their team's general.
You know what? There they're bringing back most.
I know there's another topic that we want to talk I saw on Twitter.
I don't know if you want to get there.
Service charge? No, actually, I wanted to touch on this topic.
Uh, I would miss the the Montreal and Toronto matchups.
That's just something I look forward to every year.
It would be it would be different.
Definitely would be different.
I mean, everything in 2020 but different so far.
So why not just go into 21? And with this this this strange division or whatever? Um, but that Z that's Ah, that's Ah, that's Ah, you know.
I don't think that's a layup either.
Because of the teams like Washington.
Phillips? Yeah, Philadelphia scares me for sure.
You know, you never know what's gonna happen with New Jersey.
The island is always gonna be there.
Uh, you know, they're growing and buffalo, you know, you got Eichel and Freaking Hall.
Now let's see if everything around them can come together and complete a team.
I mean, that could be a threat.
But even Carolina, the division, the Bruins plates off e goaltending down.
There is gonna be skeptics, so it remains to be seen, but I don't know.
I mean, this is something that the Bruins will have to definitely prepare themselves for, because now you're thinking outside of conference fricking games and so on.
Now you got to go back to the tape on a lot of things and get everything prepared for, um, for teams that you probably So I'm not for it nor against it.
I just want this year to be playing over and then we could get back to reality.
Hopefully and, uh, this season following? Yeah.
I'm honestly the second.
The second division here look is very intriguing.
ST Louis, Tampa, Chicago, Nashville.
Columbus is pretty good.
All in one division.
That could be pretty good.
Especially Tampa camp in Chicago.
Play each other for the help a few years ago.
Um, I'm making I think they did.
So either that do in the finals, right? Interesting. Yeah.
Well, Andrew kind of took the words right out of my mouth.
Buffalo talked me in the second half of the season.
Let's see how they're doing that.
Yeah, they're ****ing frauds because of Luci.
Luci just ended that whole, not it.
That whole, um they just he ruined that team.
Single handedly killed hay trucked.
That was, er that's funny.
Lucas is ****ing Michelin ****ing marks are still all over that organization.
Remember? E game seven or whatever.
So it wasn't Lucia.
Pollution commented on some other player.
Commented on the first.
Basically say Luke ended Buffalo. Whatever.
Um, someone made a comment about Lucia running over Miller or something like that.
I forget what it was.
Thought that was hilarious to see when they were doing the YouTube biased team of cut Game seven.
Caught any of that? I watched the majority of that because Lucia was gas and wine, and he was ****faced.
And he was coming out some great stuff along with Soupy.
So that was great stuff to watch.
And I remember that making a comment about which each running over Miller and saying they haven't been the same since the stuff.
Okay, that was hilarious.
Hey, how about How about Soupy going down? Thio Florida Panthers with old friend Sean Thornton Thio be the player development coach Player development role.
Oh, pretty badass.
I didn't even know that.
Yeah, he was working with the, uh, the Columbus Blue Jackets for a while, I believe is a scope tops off Jack's in the house.
Is, uh what up, Jack? I got to talk about him and his podcast in a little bit.
That didn't Campbell in his career in the Columbus.
But that's why I said e think, because of the fact is that he was going to be sent down and he didn't want to go to the h l.
He's like, I've already done that.
I'm going to retire or stay in the NHL and they would just they opted to do that And then it became one of those, uh, um legal things when you can, like, terminate a freaking contract and blah blah, blah.
And they just put their ways And he never really played again.
So so, you know, he's still he's a Stanley Cup final hero breaking his leg.
Guy was a warrior.
It was e Think it was the Eastern Conference while we got Pittsburgh, right? Hated the stratosphere.
What's up? Why did he hate him? Why does he hate him? Because he'd always fight and always lose a d. C. ****ing tried.
Uh uh, just like that.
I don't know how you can hit a guy who lays.
You want to give, uh, top of soft Jack in the house right here? Give him a follow.
Not only here on SportsCastr.
Follow him on Twitter.
Jack, put your, um, but your twitter up, um, he does a podcast on the Black and Gold fast network, and, um, he did a fantastic program the other night.
I was absolutely blown away.
He had his father on, which is really cool.
And the history, the history was absolutely nuts.
I was absolutely blown away by the stories this guy had and the story of of him, um, saying, Hey, Bobby, Bobby Orr, Can I have your stick and everything? But his his his dumb ass friend said something to Bob Don or e or something like that and says, Hey, you sock.
And then hey, hey, hey.
I didn't He's like, Hey, I didn't say anything.
Yeah, man, it was just I mean, the Boston Garden stories.
The trips this guy made, he went to Maple Leafs guidance.
He went to the Montreal Forum.
Um, I mean, this you've got to listen to this podcast.
It's the latest one that dropped last night.
Um, and I just I completely enjoyed it.
I think that was more of a distraction at the end of my day during my job than my regular job.
So I was just totally involved And listen to this guy talk.
So, um, nice job, Jack.
And, um yeah, keep it up and and I can't wait to You ought to have your dad on again because I really enjoyed it.
That kind of reminds me of Oh, my God.
His father's listening.
His father's right there.
God saw Very nice job, man.
I really enjoyed that program.
Please come back on again.
Don't I'll definitely give.
I'm definitely gonna listen to that.
Yeah, everybody should.
I'm gonna share that for the rest of the week.
Yes. E have. Ah, buddy.
Um, his dad had season tickets forest long as I've known him.
Right on the glass in the corner.
Um, he's had season tickets for probably 15 years now.
E think I know what story you're about to tell.
Um Right Where? Right where The Bruins shoot twice.
He's right there in the corner.
If you look, if you're watching on TV, you'll see him there.
And there is a fight once.
There's a fight.
Once on between the burns and Canadians right in the corner.
And where he sits, he's right.
Next city air mode first.
So you know, they have the little hole where they can stick the lens there and stuff like that.
He's sitting right there, then Bruins air fighting right in the corner right there.
And Kovalev's right there, and he, uh, he sticks his hand through the glass through the hole and he ripped Kovalev, stick out, stick out of his hands.
He just ripped it through the glass.
And couple of it's like in the middle of the fight.
He just turns around like starts staring at.
But But is that it was absolutely.
It's on YouTube, but it's not letting me seven a ****ing link there, the through here.
But thing here is SportsCastr tweeted Dude just tweeted out.
Yeah, if you just search Bruins fans stealing from Montreal are group talking with his son and I was over.
And the great thing is, the guys obviously filthy rich and stuff.
So he had a buddy naked to stick this thing.
And then it's awesome.
It's pictures left funny.
And then a kid came up to him, like after the game.
You the one who stole the stick? Yeah, he's like, Can I have it? And he broke it in half, and he gave him one half, and then he kept the other half.
Oh, a badass story.
Hey, speaking of badass, did you guys see the the table hockey game with the old garden? Oh, that luchador.
Um yeah, that thing is sick.
That is absolutely disgustingly sick, if that makes any sense, Thio at all the one.
The picture that he zoomed in on where I forget who it was.
But someone was, like, squared up in front of one of the benches fighting that was sick because they had the gloves off and stuff like that.
I believe that was absolutely unreal.
It wasn't Milton.
But that that the work that that guy puts in I is unbelievable.
I just I was just in awe of the up up zoomed in camera angles and so on and the, uh the it's just amazing work.
E gotta find him on Twitter because I want to ask him a question.
E think I follow.
I think I followed him, but he didn't follow me back.
Are they? Who built it? Yeah, right.
Understand, Thio, or you got an image of it.
Yeah, I'm looking at I mean, there's not a lot of fans when the picture that I saw, but, I mean, it looks like a very social distance picking Auggie game.
Probably what Imagine exactly, like only the only the millionaire's club because My dad says the took of wrasse comments should ring strong because he watched every goal he play.
And his dad was an NHL goalie before he says it was alive.
Took a is the best Bruins goalie.
Yeah, he was talking really, really, really higher.
Took on that podcast.
Um, can you tell me who his? His dad was an NHL goalie.
Who was his dad? I'm curious.
Who did he play for? I'm a goalie freak.
So Oh, all this **** if I give you call me.
All right, now I'm looking it up. Mhm.
So you wanted to talk about that off of sheep stuff? Because I just saw a tweet about something.
Yeah, well, I saw someone.
Oh, yeah. Yeah. Rink royalty.
My buddy Ryan, he writes for I want to say Jesus, I don't even know the affiliations.
And the has Bean see the Espy Nation or something.
Yeah, but it za about the kings, and it's rank rank royalty.
And he's a really good guy, because that's my West Coast team.
Um, but he's something about Bigfoot cause we don't see him too often.
You don't Tampa on me.
I think there are three million for caps.
So the Bruins bones are like four now, right? No. Three.
Right around three.
They got a couple million.
They got a couple 100,000 more than Tampa Bay right out there.
Make them the circuit chef, in my opinion, is gonna be making or you have, Like, you don't have to give up the first round.
And I always I kind of always think about those office sheets And how Maney first rounds it'll take to get a guy to come over here.
Like if you look at the logistics of in office sheet on the high, very, very high end, you could give up four straight first round picks for a player, Not a chance.
And now, I mean, there's been and people are scared over and over on the island.
What's his name? Barzel gain offer sheet.
But there's no happening because that would be, you know, four first rounders right there.
I appreciate it.
Find the work break for someone to create, lose, Not gonna let him go.
Yeah, they're gonna find him.
Yeah, and I love the Bruins.
pundits that they're like, Oh, here's your chance to get bars else when he only took it five years.
Use the son of a *****es. I hate them.
Yeah, it's like the I can't even think right now, but it's like that **** ghost.
And when we were kids, Scrooge, remember that? Some of the cartoon Scrooge McDuck? No.
Miley, Jacob Marley.
Mind you got the two young.
And I'm not shaping this, by the way.
And I'm not showing all these freaking grades, because guess what it is Movember a month.
Because since my boys here at the dumping change hockey podcast, which you should be fun form listening platform, these guys are Boston famous.
Not only that world famous, but they're also doing a great campaign on on the cancer benefit.
And it is Movember.
So, Nick, why don't you talk about your your campaign you got going on? We got a couple more days.
Yeah, so? Well, the great thing is, we, uh today, Actually, we surpassed our goal of $1500.
But I'm gonna jack that ****er upto like 1700 because, you know, we still got a week a week to go.
Um, for those who are listening and stuff like that to us, my dad passed away after an eight year back.
So, you know, usually do the Movember account and stuff like that not raise money.
But I only do a couple 100 because I don't have, like, I don't for dumping change.
I never had, like, you know, really any kind of social media just had instagram, so it was kind of hard to get the word out.
But this year I was like, I'm going to go for it because obviously, uh, no.
First year my dad, I want to honor his name.
And I want jacket the **** up I want.
I just want, you know, I want to make him proud.
I wanna honor his name, and he deserves it.
And especially being part of the Black and Gold Productions team.
Now, on being on Twitter and like, how supportive everyone.
Not just you, Mark, but everyone on the black and gold team.
They've They plugged the **** out of us.
They've been great.
A lot of guys have donated and shared already.
And because of that, we, uh, surpassed our gold.
And but everyone you know was sharing.
I mean, I get that times are tough, too.
So I know I knew 1500 was a stretch, but, I mean, with a week to go, we ****ing at it and blows my, like, blows me away because years, years, I make it some years I wanted, but it is more so just to spread the awareness to because, you know, prostate cancer awareness.
It's usually it's a big thing.
And hockey this month to they all grow the most.
They spread the awareness and for men to it z the killer.
It's, you know, if you don't catch it early, could really no could really hurt you.
So that's why it's, you know, talk with my dad.
You know, before he passed away.
Take care of your health because you don't want to leave everyone behind.
You want to take care of every m s and I'm gonna now, this is not just for the donations and stuff like that, but also further awareness.
People have to understand.
You gotta take care of yourself because you don't take care of yourself.
You can't take care of your loved ones.
And I know my dad would do anything right now to be here to take care of his, You know, his wife, my mom, us, You know, just be here for the holidays and stuff like that, because that's his favorite time of year.
So, you know, it's it goes a long way.
Just, you know, guys come discovered this ****ing way.
Don't like to get touched at the doctors.
I appreciate those, um, like it just you can't be so stubborn and you just gotta take care of yourself.
Because, you know, my dad was a stubborn man, and maybe, you know, you'll never know, But maybe his stubbornness is killed him and, you know, fit him in the ass.
But I made him that.
I want him governance him.
And I was just gonna bite the bullet.
And, you know, I'll get to shoved up my ass, touch my prostate, do whatever the **** you want to do, man, because you know he would die.
Thio have one more day here.
So I'm going to do everything I can spread the awareness to take care of my health.
even friends and family just to spread the awareness to them.
Because I want the whole black and gold team.
I want my friends, family, everyone.
I want them to be healthy, Stay safe.
Especially during times I'm cold.
The other concerns because the C word is so ****ing popular.
Now you hear it so often so if you could, you know, That's why I just appreciate you guys spreading all the love and spreading.
Um, you couldn't donate just spreading the, you know, sharing the link and stuff like that because also spreads awareness.
Everyone knows well growing.
The mo is usually for this time a month.
So the bottom of my heart, I'm truly thankful.
I mean everyone because But you guys have no idea how much it means to me because I never possibility you guys have gone above and beyond for May L A t.
I really appreciate it all around for everyone because it's truly amazing done for us over here at Black Google.
Um, dump and change ****ing awesome.
And I couldn't be more proud to be part of this team. Dude.
That's awesome on I just want to say one more thing with the week because the black gold hockey podcast and the productions is gonna give up $100.
So we're gonna add another 100 bucks to that cause.
Okay. Awesome, man. Wow.
Yeah, you guys are amazing.
And we're so glad to have you on this team.
And we're just gonna be running like a truck, guys.
So and to have you guys aboard and the and the process the pro what you guys have done from Episode 12 now has just been unbelievable to hear every weekend and then this stuff that you guys do, you know, So Oh, yeah, I always welcome even that nasty guy.
I can't one another 50 come to you as well.
I would so, um, shares as good as a donation.
It's, um It goes a long way, you know? Obviously you see how Twitter works, you know, simple retreat, or even a like People can see it.
People can click on the link.
We like a great car.
What Kobe has done to everyone this year.
We need a little bit of positivity in this world.
We need something toe kind of uplift us and just you know, and that's what you guys have done for me.
And I don't mean Thio get all mushy over here on you Like I was truly taken back to, like, just to get the email are saying, you know, seeing like all these black and gold members, um, donate and then all the Twitter alerts of people sharing it and stuff plugging in and listening to your episode this week of you guys plug Nothing.
Basically, it's truly, like, heartwarming, and it's just I mean, ****ing off can't I mean, I could go on and on about how awesome everyone's state.
That's why we're so happy to hear part a awesome you guys for us.
And just my dad would be so proud.
And he's the reason why we started the podcast.
Because, you know, I got all his chemo sessions and I talked his ear off about podcast hockey podcasts and stuff like that.
Just shut the **** up, own part.
And then, you know, he passed.
And, you know, Jared was like, Did you know There you go, Jared.
The only good advice I've ever given him.
Yeah, let's dial it back into some Bruins hockey talk.
Thank you so much for that.
So I thought it was important toe to continue the message.
It is in November and so on.
Let's talk about I mean, I didn't have much on the Bruins front except for the breast.
Really? Um, I did wanna mention that Kendall Coyne was hired as the Blackhawks, the development coach.
I know it's not Bruins related, but great topic.
Regardless, If it's talking, you know, on this program, it doesn't have to be all very under.
Later, we could just talk to keep it going.
So I thought that was pretty cool.
Um, I mean, the first thing that popped into my head was, you know, there's gonna be a some practice some of those, like in practice competitions with the fastest skater thing.
One thing I do two things I want to talk about.
One another Bruins thing.
Um, the back of nine in trade rumors.
What do you What do you guys think of that and stuff? I think that's now squashed.
Now that Jake signed.
Yeah, me too, I think.
Yeah, I thought that the Vaca nine and talk already forward and come in NHL defenseman and give us like a left shot.
D I think that was well, but they obviously work together because it got done today.
I'm sorry, s o, I think now I think now your host probably gonna be sticking around.
And I'm not saying I'm I'm happy about it.
I just want to see you make a bigger step this year.
In his development, I don't think he's NHL ready.
I think that honestly and I'm not I'm not a doctor, you know, e just think that that hit he took in the early part of season, which pretty much knocked him out for the compressed of year, even in the NHL and and the h l.
I just think that it was just one of those times that he took ah whole season to think about that.
You know, I think there was a lot of gun shy moments and I'm not saying that his development was bad.
He was blocking shots and he was doing the things that he had to dio.
But it was also times that you looked and said he just didn't want to get in there because he probably didn't was afraid to get hurt.
You know, just I see him as I call them, because I'm not bragging or anything like that.
But when you're at the games and you're seeing it live, you do see some great things.
But you also see sometimes of hesitation and you know it where it's human.
That's human nature to like, Hey, I got myself ****ed up in the head.
I don't want to put myself in that situation again, but when you're asked to do so, it's just it's just so there's a piece.
I also understand that as a business, too.
Yeah, that's what we said on the podcast.
Sounds like the Burns maybe are getting a little frustrated with his development and stuff that maybe a little bit and for the groom's core.
And do you need some help on that back end? And it would kind of make sense toe trade away back in nine, and for a hand offend or something like probably a piece that you would have to give up, you know, Calgary wants for But look, I was way off this week.
I was blown away to find out the ****ing back in nine was the first round there.
I don't know what in my little head thought he was a second rounder, and I've been thinking about for, like, ****ing two or three years.
I like I don't know why I was thinking that truly, both my mind.
I'm still rattled by it, thinking that he's the second round.
Or maybe it's because development is the slowest around her.
But yeah, that's what a tough one for you, Nick E was listening.
And I'm like, this is new.
This is usually a nester.
Fail e was just like you were eating it.
What else? What else was the one that Jared just like? No, that's not it.
E could see you shaking your head, Jared, when you when you mentioned it like **** is is literally right before beckon Island.
Something for the Panthers, nine.
Something on the panthers. Vetrano.
I thought it was, like, ****ing What's his name, son? Who has a job? We're kind of about that.
Scoring 20 goals a season for Florida.
Yeah, it happens.
Look at each other.
We're like, what, there Even Nestor ****ing was troubled by that.
You know that something like that.
That was pretty funny.
Eso Jackson Hilary Knight over. Kendall Coyne.
I mean, I like I love both players.
I just think kettle corn.
It has been more involved in the game.
Yeah, well, actually, I wanted I totally agree with him.
I think she I think she's better than coin.
I do agree with what Jack Sando, if you want.
If you want a face to, you know, communicate with the younger crowd.
I would just little coin is not playing anymore.
I'm not sure, is she? Is she not playing? Is Kendall Coyne not playing anymore? Like I know, Hilary Knight still plays those players that were striking.
So, uh, she's kind of like a all right.
I did not know that our Rachel played with growing up in the developed program.
They're still young.
Well, it just kind of it.
Kind of seems like Kendall coins kind of been more injured.
Maybe she's just more like you Haven't really heard much Hilary Knight really? With any Jones and I agree with Jack.
Hilary Knight is by far I think Kendall Coyne and what was but Kendall Coyne kind of just like you turn on.
You know, NHL Network.
She's right there.
You turn on nbcsn.
She's right there.
You turn on the All Star Game.
She's right there.
Um, there's something about her that someone is just like and, you know, campaigning coin.
Well, dude, it's the It was the All Star game. That's what happened.
And I mean, the whole fastest skater thing.
Coins pretty notice in the That's it.
I like her a lot.
Big fan of the night.
Um, but going back to the higher for the Chicago Blackhawks, I I thank God I'm not personal friends with these people, but the the jokes that were made on a trashy social media platforms like Facebook And I know Twitter could be just a just a bad, but the jokes and the e don't know what you call it.
I'm gonna try to be nice and everything like that.
We're just outright disgusting.
Like my concern with the comments.
No, it's going to get around.
Oh, dude, it was like, so freaking bad.
Um, it amazes me that so on and and this and that and but there's so there's so many women that play a very, very good style of hockey and some of them playing a very aggressive style of hockey, which is really cool, too, but that they can't learn the game and and figure everything out and try to teach anybody else to do it, especially professionals.
And the town grading on this on this platform and on this thread was just disgusting.
I was just appalled.
I was just I can't believe you guys are hockey fans, to be honest, because it's about the game and not about agenda, you know? And I just thought it was ridiculous.
So yeah, that's like, not you know what I'm saying.
They just They have the outlets if you can say whatever they want, as bigoted as it can be or a Z harmful as it can be.
But you know, I like like a couple of years ago, when the Dallas star is hired, or was the Phoenix Coyotes, they hired a girl, a lady that had really good skating skills. I mean some.
This teacher was like out skating the freaking participants on the ice, and they were freaking professionals.
So it was just a learning thing.
It doesn't matter what worry about who's doing it and what gender is doing it.
You know, it's just it's just Oh, it bothers me that we can't have a civil conversation without bringing freaking **** like that up all the time.
Just saying That's the world we live in the Yeah, unfortunately, yes, right.
It's just I mean, I've learned since we've been on Twitter, Twitter is just what is? It's a dumpster fire.
Yeah, that's what it is like, Um, I got is somebody I actually no, I'm not gonna say names, but the other night, actually, last night, as I was doing some edits and so on, this guy was trashing Carlo, like saying he's a soft player.
I was like, I mean, Carlos, not like the What's that? Maybe when he first came into the league, but he's going into his body and ****.
Yeah, it was injured a lot, too, but I think that especially last season e mean e no, there isn't award, but he should have gotten seventh player.
In my opinion, I think I said I think who wanted is ASHA.
Okay? E think it.
Waas? Yeah, I think it was coil, I think, for Think of my feet, but I hello.
Playing an aggressive game is it's just not the style that some people want to see.
They want to see the big, bad Bruin style of plastering somebody through the board that they write exactly the size just automatically says Attack, you know, like a German shepherd.
But, uh, to me, I think that his hesitance is good.
I don't want to commit to like going after the player with the puck and then leaving a man behind.
That doesn't mean a player soft.
It just means that he's his commitment to, like, protect the goal and anything that goes past that goal line.
Is that much mawr relevant? You know what I'm saying? Yeah, it is very smart.
Uh oh, go too far away from it.
A lot of especially a lot of players now they take up a figure skating and the like back.
If you're doing it, there's a lot of players that do it.
Now they go toe figure skaters Thio, you know, work on their skills, and their skating's asked a lot of players that just very true.
Yeah, it's I mean, it's it's crazy, but it's awesome.
It's just awesome how the game's evolved that we can now appreciate opinions from both candles.
Yeah, okay, The only way it's gonna grow You can't just shut woman out of the game.
I mean, there's amazing hockey players.
I I've gone to Boston Pride Game, third Blast.
They're skilled players.
You can't just, you know, Mitt.
Yeah, there's some that, you know, between the NHL N w h l like, Yeah, there's a huge gap there, but N W H l is on the right track right now.
Another team, um and you know, it's just three games.
Getting better for both.
For both genders.
I'm sick of seeing people, especially on Twitter, just kind of shut woman out of the game second.
And at this, it's like it's 2020.
I mean, circle skated around them in any kind of game, dude.
They can't even skate. Probably.
I can't wait to see it this year. I'm fine.
Been retweeting Mark hole.
What's that? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
It's, uh, the Grandal's getting sweaty myself.
Dude, I'm telling you cannot wait to go out there and just put the fricking ccm's on and just go.
I'm gonna buy a I get it by a ficus stick.
$100. I'm kidding.
No, I'm skinning.
Are there any nice ponds near you? Yes, I have several of them.
Which which, um many, Many former semi professional hockey.
Yeah, we just got Framingham.
There's not much there.
So you got That means seriously.
There's nothing there to skate on. No public.
There's one a few towns over and over.
They have one that they actually take care of, like, really well.
But the only thing is, you have to be a resident there.
They just can't win people.
They're not hard out there.
I mean, growing up, they were coming, like, whatever hockey here.
You know, whatever hockey attire was playing for that, not over.
And they all play town, you know, Jesus.
But now they don't really get a ship up the town.
You know, the firefighters will come flooded at night.
They have lights to Oh, yeah, that's awesome.
A lot of people think that there's a just a ****ing roll over there.
Just they can't escape by the end of the day because they're so e like it.
I like it s That's really all we have over here.
It's small, so it freezes up pretty quickly.
Um, Du Dudley Pond and wetlands Good, too.
Yeah, but that's just Yeah.
Where was I got Pond? That would be Twitter because it's just well in s***bags over there.
I mean, yeah, that's I mean, that's obviously true, but yeah, pretty good ice when it freezes over which one fall in the edges People's backyard.
E saw a kid followed that once.
He's like one leg went in.
It was like out of a movie.
One leg went in and everybody started panicking and like he was like, really calm.
And then just like fruit, right down right up.
I was I wasn't skating hard.
I was going for the park and real thin ice.
You know how you're creeping and creeping and the cracks get louder and louder.
Yeah, I'm just like, Oh, here we go.
I was a fat back then.
I was like £150.
But anyway, I grabbed the park.
I throw it between my legs and I just push off, right? I get, like, two or three strides in.
And then all of a sudden the ice breaks and my leg goes straight down and my other leg goes to the left.
And I had cuts from the ice up my leg all the way up my leg.
I had to get life again.
I think it was 100. Something stitches.
Oh, yeah, from that probably.
No, no, e couldn't believe it.
E was young, too, So yeah, you know, aging gravity, things go away.
No, but I'm pumped to go skating.
And I'm kind of thinking disappointed about this whole, like, um uh, Vermont thing.
Because, you know, the actually, anywhere you go now in New England, you have to, like, quarantine for two weeks.
So but one of the guys on the on the job, Yeah, Bruins breakdown, hockey podcast.
He's He builds a rink every year.
So I'm thinking sooner or later, once everything gets frigging healthy again, that we can actually hang around, hang around and drink beers and do some skating.
I think a road I would just wanna skate, have fun Trip is and just just make a weekend of it.
You know what? They'll be ****ing awesome.
Some team bonding.
Alright, bring corn.
If I don't quarantine when I get back, are the quarantine police gonna come after me? Well, see, the thing is, if you do go, if you do cross the body so you're technically half different and say something.
Ah, so like Or you have to show proof that you have been quarantined, which is absolutely ridiculous.
They don't say **** to him.
Can you provide a negative test? What's that? I don't know.
Can you provide a negative test? I have no idea That do***entation of a negative test if I get tested I don't know. That's stupid.
How are they gonna know? Important e know that it doesn't make it.
You have to show negative testimony.
All right, well, I'll go right to the hospital.
I mean, I ain't gonna get time off work like that.
Before this walked in, I was like, You can rent ice in the North Shore and try to get like, a good, decent group over there because I know some of the black and gold guys.
You guys air up in the North Shore and stuff like that.
And he even said Sturges in reading Mass.
He drive down to play with those kids and y'all No.
And I think I Jack, tell me if I'm right or wrong.
But isn't that a park? That's like, basically off of, um ****.
I don't know The freaking route.
Well, I used to drive by when I was landscaping.
They had, like, three ranks, three or four rinkside by in the summertime.
You can actually see the, um, the land.
It was flat, and then they had curves that went down like this.
And then it was flat in the bottom and they flooded.
Want to get a real I want to get what, riel? Real quick.
Who's that? You want to get mystical out so long and talk to some old school hockey? I'm down.
Let's do it. I'll be right back. I'll be right back.
All right? I hope he's a senior because I'm gonna call him Jack.
It iss Now, that may be how this column Mr God's will.
Yeah, Hopefully, it's not like going to wake up or anything.
That's always the podcast was so good.
Honestly, it was really good.
Like so much history.
Yeah, I got to give it a listen.
I am e about him. Good.
Here is Jack's dad.
So he should be coming in. Really? Quick.
What's up? Hey, Marco are good.
So how you doing, sir? I'm not Mr Godzilla.
Anybody? I'm ready s alright.
How you doing? I'm doing great. Heavy.
Thanks for giving me a chance to talk to my hockey with you guys.
I appreciate it.
On the podcast today at work, I was like, You probably heard I got more listening done than work.
And I was just in awe of the story.
So very cool stuff, man.
And he chance I can talk.
Yeah, I Look, I grew up with the Bruins, and, you know, I heard from my podcast love to hang around the garden.
Love, love toe Got lucky enough to meet a couple of the Bruins.
And I love the old time hockey, and I wish you know, the hockey was a little bit more like the old time hockey, as far as I'm concerned with the fighting.
And, uh, I mean, I want to put into these crazy rules and you know, my my bet.
My dad told me when I was a kid.
You know, you let these European guys come in tow to the NHL, they're gonna be gonna change things.
Next thing you know, you're gonna have helmets and, you know, they're the guys to play with their sticks up high.
So that's why you have to have help.
You know, somebody gives you trouble.
Somebody three problem.
You drop the gloves, you settle it and you move on.
Why do you think I just the way I did, Guys, he's like, Oh, that kid, that could hurt you.
How do you do anything about it? You know what I used Thio? Mark e used to yell to him to get his attention, and I just put up numbers on then the numbers of the guys we owe e No.
That's why hockey should be played.
E don't need any of this man's You hand the crap.
Although brand money was like, I'm the actual once I became you know.
You know, Jack, Jack had a couple of great years of playing hockey, right? And his biggest years.
You know where there's most of his goals were scored from right in front of that right from that.
So about 4 ft, you know? You know what they used to call them? They put it on his hockey jacket.
W m you know this **** for waste management? That's awesome.
You put it on net, he'll fight through it and put the rebound in the net.
Hey, was a little Esposito without the talent? E have a couple of days with my Yeah, eso.
So we get a line right here, Jack.
So you would be the sentiment.
I'd be the right side and give a nickel of Yeah, Nick, over here.
I'm definitely a defense of sentiment.
Hey, you back for that? I don't want anything.
I defense after a few years, and I wouldn't do it in his crazy league, which was really a nutcase league, right? There's a fighting league, which, which is my favorite league, right? But he went out there and, you know, he pulled the old Lindros thing, you know, well hit the biggest guy in the isis hard.
You can your first chef and actually worked for him, so I think it was crazy.
But I said, Jack, you look in the mirror.
Whatever it worked. Yeah.
Talk about my old time hockey.
And any time you want, I'll give you a couple of more stories, that's for sure.
That's so awesome.
Thank you so much. Man.
I really appreciate that.
Thank you so much.

That's gonna be amazing.
Car trying pipe right now.
That's so funny, man.
He killed me there.
I thought it was gonna be positive.
I mean, I guess he's somewhat waas e my weekend goals, and he still doesn't give me credit.
Nice shirt, by the way.
Grassy est, uh, hockey camera about the thing was is Well, I was playing at the same time.
My sister, she was playing in high school and she was going for the state championship.
So obviously, like they watched her over me.
So they missed the bus.
I scored those goals. I swear on my own.
Just staff were there.
E spread those goals.
But they were watching that.
And my sister did take home the state championship.
She was a beast.
E mean, we were all born at the same time.
Me and my other sister would have gotten any attention because Shannon was Shannon.
Was the tank nice? I mean, neither of us got an Olympic tryout.
E, thank God I was, like, eight years away from her.
You can't e r retired by the time I started playing real hot, which was good for May.
Why you with that in the beginning? No, like Warren.
Her first two years of playing real hockey. Nobody.
Nobody was showing.
I'm not even may because everybody's got **** and eso.
She took the hardest.
The middle child always takes the hardest.
Thank God I was the oldest.
The middle child always takes the hardest.
So she was like, Oh, my God.
I'm after that organization of her and was like, what? I'm like, not ever gonna that good like **** and I play a different position.
Standing was just a beast.
She made it harder for all of us.
Not on her at all, but like she was a beast.
Alright, we're gonna We're gonna half an hour ago.
So we're gonna wrap this up real quick.
Well, I really appreciate it. Absolutely.
Thank you for having me, Dad.
Dude, that was amazing.
I love the Absolutely.
So I'll tag out of here and let you guys finish it up.
Piece? Yeah, together with family like that.
Just haven't absolutely good time talking about the best game in sports.
I know what that's all.
Passenger has arrived.
You love my gifts.
I love sending them to the my favorite.
Your fish? Don't know.
What's the status on the glove? And is he still alive? E glove in is alive.
You've just been working a lot.
There's a lot of stuff going on with him.
Um, but no, it's still good.
Yeah, well, I say foster.
What? I don't know. I heard that too.
Getting reamed out right now.
Oh, e taking a break from social media.
Boston Bruin Mike Parubiy.
Why don't I know that name their coach? Well, not right.
So what is left to talk about? Content, Probably which sucks.
Makes our job harder and ****.
But Ciara Okay, Great thing that he was doing today delivering pies.
Uh, this is an even the Boston Bruins under contract, you know? Yeah, and still out there doing it.
It just shows how much he means to the city and how much you know the city means to him, Captain baby.
You know, it's ****ing I'm good for one year.
But after that, after that, I got a pass.
We gotta You gotta move on.
You know, it's just Z.
Yeah, We've got some young kids that coming up that are gonna be a little more deserving, younger and healthier.
I mean, I'm not saying he's been bad basketball years with injuries and so on.
I took a freaking shot to the face and he still came out.
Sat on the bench afterwards.
Is that are you talking about? When he broke his jog in ST Louis Did the theon demand corporate thing? I feel like they only put up half of the content they had because they said it was gonna be a sick And I was trying to **** because it was really that gives the man g no.
Yes, a soft porn as you could get.
But there's still great content Still fun toe Why it was called See behind the scenes **** and what? Something like I'm missing stuff like that.
So it's kind of cool to see Ciara even It was just, you know, Twitter instagram and seeing him handing, you know, pies and **** was going to see that warrant related because it's awesome to see him so in the city and should just, you know, it reassured me that, you know, without it, no.
Or maybe he signs a little bit late.
I was like, Okay, one last push eyepiece in this season.
Well, maybe he's drinking the same quit as a Batman, and he's like convinced that there's gonna be 82 game season with the stands.
So maybe that making give him a little bit of his bump shoes.
It's a baby powder and they found it be on the same train right there.
I would hate to see him leave this year.
I think the Bruins air prevented with him this year.
Um, depending on what kind of role they put him in the 25.
30 minutes a night again.
But you know, PUK and stuff like that is Well, don t he's struggled time two times the bar.
Who the **** knows what you're going to get with him.
So I problems opposite he's guy back.
I mean, you know Kevin Miller, he's gonna have a hard time cracking the line every night, time, time.
You gotta have some top Carlo you played is going to be playing ****ing right wing the next shift.
But I love I love Clifton.
So you do need some tough in this backdate, and he would be great to kind of just, you know, hand over the torch.
Why? Here, maybe, And just help.
Luzon's a borough.
These young guys just kind of know ease into their positions and stuff like that, their roles because, you know, they learn a lot from them special these young guys, because he's a true professional.
43 going into the season, You see, a 43 year old, they're, like, firsthand first at last out.
You know, every day that's gonna help these, you know, presents actor to light a fire under their ass and just and to get my **** together to make the **** up if you want to get paid, if you want to play no time to wake up for these guys And even so, the forwards expeditions and print friend Sonika, you know, having that leadership in the locker room, they need him in the locker of not just something nice Well said, I definitely agree on angle.
It's like some of these guys that are ready to come up, you know, And they're not proven like Ciara is that they're also yeah, but they also need They also need the experience to get there and to get there, they need the time.
And, you know, I just think that sometimes that that his year by year by year is blocking.
But it's also a very beneficial, beneficial thing, too, because he's also here to teach.
And, you know, we do have a young core on defense, especially this.
It's going to be even younger, Uh, takes to it.
So they signed on.
Day one of free agency is gonna play, and there's you just actually now learning that you're a Schweppes guy. Jesus.
Last week I was like, I was, like, getting getting it from some guy.
But now I drink swept, so we can ginger ale.
And you're like, I don't know what this guy anymore.
I wonder what the future is.
That would be on that line next this week.
I'm going to run the opposite way.
You can go playing track.
Yeah, Clear like a right now.
I wanna throw, you know, ****.
That's a freaking episode.
Cesar meeting the It would be something every it would be.
It would be like the podcast version of, like, men keeping up with the Kardashians.
Just so much unnecessary drama right there.
So listen, tell me about pot.
I are doing all this freaking things.
Like, how much audio did you guys active record and how much audios you sit there and edit for the first time.
Oh, There's only one time.
Wait, What are you talking about? I'm confused.
I thought that I heard two or three episodes of you guys were like out by a fire and recording out there.
And people are there or No, it happened to be a Saturday night there, right? And we were kind of like chocolates.
Just can Let's just accord now while we're buzzing right now.
You know, some Oh, my God, that feels like forever ago now.
Remember that, E? But that was a disaster.
Great listening, though.
I forgot about that.
Was everybody going on? We need to edit that ****.
That fire crackling.
Yeah, that's awesome, man.
Major distraction Daleen Rain Sun values.
And so he would make a lot of stuff in there that I would want out.
He could still do a great job by interesting stuff, dude, that they have been the episode that broke Cousin G.
That may have been the episode when I sent that to him, because I feel like I remember him asking me and be like, Yo, this is like all over with the idea and stuff.
There wasn't much thought to it.
There's just a lot of alcohol.
Don't want texting back.
Amazon said, **** it.
Let's go for it and see what happens.
They'll probably be in the Hockey Hall of Fame one day.
I hope that doesn't happen to yours.
Dude, don't do that.
Please don't do that.
That was a gift.
Yeah, yeah, practice with it.
Just figure out what you're doing.
Yeah. I'm gonna have to watch a lie.
You basically what I've been doing, cause how I learned Thio at age.
Yeah, because we made it good song choices today.
By the way, E didn't tell you that.
Ladies, baby Canadian love it.
Yeah, that's like one of my favorite songs.
E Love that song.
Yeah, I love that Mark.
What did you think of my quote Tweet the other day of l press? Um, that halftime show ever.
No, it doesn't get you out of your chair than you guys.
E thought it was you.
It started with me.
Well, you guys all have the same fricking, uh, 98.
9% of the time. It is Nick.
Still struggling to tell Jared to use his own.
Because I'm not gonna e change Buzz.
And I'm not gonna create uh, dude, I got my own twitter.
I use I don't touch the dumping change.
Just read the conversation.
So I know what's going on.
E knew that Mark was going to do his ads.
5 45 and then we were going live at six.
And that's why I was on its six.
Because I read them 44.
I'm so glad. Dummy.
You guys in trivia this week? You see, the Jack Adams one was hilarious.
You're like he won the trophy.
E couldn't believe they didn't get that one.
I thought that was the layup.
I want to be honest with you.
I want to be straight honest with you.
Yeah, when I was listening to it, I said, um um, but Milt Schmidt, I went to the game when they retired his jersey against, you know? No, your New Jersey.
I'm going to start when I do trivia.
I'm gonna put it, like, in the parentheses on paper.
I want you next week to get three questions for the pod, and I want you to get three questions for us next week on the livestream.
All right, So you I was gonna bring that up, actually.
So yeah, we're drink because I had six, so I just kind of too much.
I just split them up, al eight, Have you? And we could open it up to Ah, yeah, the chat, A little thread there and see if one of them gets the first thing ever s.
So when I do that, we'll turn off.
You were gonna do it like this.
A guy. All right, Got blind Is up.
Oh, man, that's funny.
Funny. Oh, yeah.
I'm 100% down to do that.
The Bruins basically being done with signing.
This is probably going to be very slow time.
I don't want quick one really quick thing S o, you know, designing for the Bruins air.
But where do you think people like like Hoffman do? Clear like the guy that they're still out there, that the Bruins have been, like, not really linked to e know, That kind of like Hoffman.
I think maybe I saw charity, I think make things make it happen.
There's a free agency signing and it's just flat.
The Bruins can't do it, but they have three.
Ah, little under three million or right around 3.5.
And that's because no.
All right, so, no, I know that I'm talking about, like, where do you think those guys they're gonna end up now? Because, like, they haven't been signed and they're gonna be a reason why they haven't been signed.
Oh, often when it came out the very end.
This is what I'm doing.
I'm finding a one year deal because he's Yeah, exactly.
Nick, Tailor Paul, who's also signed a one year deal.
So those those would be the two top free agents next season go back and forth to end his career in the long term contract because he's probably gonna light up numbers.
He's probably gonna be the only one side cycle is just gonna increase his his No Hoffman.
I don't know this, but I think often want a little winner.
And that's why I don't think everyone should sign Hoffman, because fact is that if you don't win this next season away, there is one.
Um, I would year to try again right, and you don't have that.
And if you don't win the Cup, do you think Hoffman is going to sign another deal with everyone's? No.
No, He's gonna want to go somewhere else because he wants to win too much of a risk.
In my opinion, Jared, to be honest with too much at this point, the top one that's left.
I mean, I, like, declares game personally, but that's just me.
E No, he's a bit of a gentleman, and I know the Bruins can't really do anything, especially after they just paid the breath.
Yeah, but I like I actually really, like declares game.
I remember the first broke in.
I think it was with the Rangers.
Could be way off on that one.
Could put played for, like, four different games.
Now I know the Rangers, Ottawa.
Phoenix is in Columbus.
I'm gonna be it.
E wonder why you're the brains of the podcast.
Found It's like who Inch knife signed with the with the Islanders.
You know who the goaltender push? Night.
I thought I saw.
It's showing, Major.
I don't a last name, Okay.
Says he's an unrestricted free agent.
Yeah, many sucks now, so I don't know.
He's from Marblehead.
I did not know that.
Oh, my God, That's funny.
This little pain req d ph o Oh, yeah, dude.
And he's got 20 year deal.
He's going to be paid until the right.
Well, this is cap cap friendly.
Yeah, I signed every July 1st.
Yeah, a million dollars every every July 1st.
What a life, babe.
That's funny, imagining, like waiting along, not just like waiting all year.
And then you just don't get it and, you know, just chilling.
And then July 1st bang million bucks in the bank.
Or or how belt be that kind of dank that that uses creditors and to get everything he wants.
And all of a sudden it's just like when the money comes around, just like it's, uh and I hate saying this.
I want to be respectable about it, but it's like food stamps.
It's gone, like, really quick.
Yeah, you know what I'm saying? Like his.
It's funny. You welcome.
Like that's funny steps.
You have you switch? They still going up.
Andrew just donated 50 Andrews, the man.
Andrews, the man.
You get that, you get that c note for me as soon as we get done here, my friend.
Pumped about that.
The market to Andrew.
Andrew needs punk ass kids so you could Yeah, okay, people, people find ways. The podcast.
Believe it or not, Heather.
Important Heather comm podcast.
And have two of the kids come right in the middle of it and fight.
Like throwing fricking fists.
Yeah, I heard one of those episodes.
Didn't want to hurt kids live in one time.
I think I saw you guys talking about on Twitter, and I went to go watch it on YouTube because you edit it on the pod.
Didn't do it on the YouTube.
And that was the most important one.
Because that was dedicated to a very good hockey player in this town.
Yeah, I was so embarrassed because two days later she sent me the text message like, Oh, thanks a lot for putting my kids fight in that I was like, Oh, my God, I was I was just I was a total mess, trying to even think about recording the podcast and trying to edit it on YouTube.
The best thing you need to do, Nick, is to do everything on, like, zoom, get your audio and your video of zoom because it compresses the same.
You don't have to do anything.
The audio put it on YouTube.
But what if you do that? I will warn you you won't be able to put your songs on there.
So when you guys pick, like whole department from from the bare, naked ladies, you'll get shot down real quick.
You got to go, Thio.
Gotta go toe like that because you can just see us ****ing begging yesterday.
What kind of computer do you have? Who does the editing, by the way? Nick? Nice God, my ****ing son.
All right, anyway, um, if you want to get the audio sometime and I'll teach you how Thio edit the So that's why we record.
Sorry I missed that whole beginning.
Yeah, so when you guys, when you guys do your podcast on zoom, it can also record the video and audio that you could say So when you compress the files file for the podcast on the video file after I close out, and I always, you know, I just never touch it because I don't want to count how many chips thing you don't want to do? YouTube.
I'm just like, Oh, God, if I like I have, like, a camcorder.
I've always wanted to, like, get me him and Nestor in the same room and just record it that way.
But that's I don't know if he would like to see that.
I don't know how to do that.
What? What? What Jared talking about? It would be.
You guys were record audio and he records a video on a camcorder.
Ah, digital camp.
That's when you have to put both of them together and time it appropriately, right? That's it, doesn't it? Doesn't have a program that doesn't automatically like zoom, right.
Okay, it Yeah, so he's a sound engineer.
So basically, when you see when you see like Jesus actors facing the other way, and you can tell by the camera view that they're melt their jaws and stuff like that's what it does. 11.
He matches that up.
So basically, every time that happens, you can yell at Mark DeSimone Because if someone had fast Hey, don't turn, my boy.
I liked that guy way had him on.
Actually, I wasn't earlier.
You say the riveters riveters They were the New York riveters, and now they're the metropolitan Riveters, I believe.
Yeah, that was That was That was really cool, because, like, I'm a big movie guy.
So, like, we got the hockey and then I got, like, the movie talk, which I I love.
Like, if I could find someone to start a movie podcast with, I would probably do it nice.
That's like, That's something on That's what? That's another thing for me that talks about Cove it.
Okay, going off like movies Can't go to the movies.
Hey, real quick.
Hey, how much longer you guys want to go? Because I could go a little while longer, but I got to go to the head empty.
You guys talking once this off, But I came up put up downtown way.
Need to figure out your microphone, buddy.
I know this ****ing ****ed me off.
Get it, Andrew? Drunk podcasting Sounds wonderful what we do every Sunday, baby Jack Thio uh, we are views on the pipe.
And if they're movies haven't seen, send them my way and I'll walk him.
That's lightning for May.
Oh, young blood.
Hamilton Mustangs! Let's go.
You're an idiot.
A terrible review.
Okay, Yeah, it That would be, um, mighty doctor.
One of the mighty ducks.
Like one of them are, like, Just like mighty ducks is the whole No, I can't think which one is my favorite, but it's got to be one of the Mighty Ducks ones.
Um, is right up my ass Here, um, off comparison, dude.
Mystery Alaska sucks.
I love mystery Alaska.
Uh, how do you know? Like that movie, Russell Crowe playing hockey, so I don't like I don't like All right, I'm gonna have ah, Mark settle this debate, even though I think it's gonna go in your favor.
Now, Mark seems that he likes the old school move.
Did you ever watch the movie goalie? No.
What is that about what he played on the brooms? It's about the goalie.
Uh uh, Starts with the next.
What the ****'s his last name? Ah, something Goddammit! Something is Last name begins with us.

It's a biography by a biography.
Biographical sports film.
I've watched that movie a most valuable primate Thio.
Yes, sir. All right.
Uh, mystery Alaska.
Do you like Mr Alaska? Els can't.
Oh, **** ****ing Yeah, I gave Nick the same parameters.
Let me think about this.
Uh, you know, that's like, everybody's favorite.
I know. I know, I know.
You know, I would have to say net worth.
I just this you guys already letting in some time e that e about got it.
Young blood is the best hockey movie of all time.
I I wasn't invited back.
I just came back.
Alright, So fine would definitely be net worth because it's got a lot of history about the game as it went back in the day And how, um, owners, like, really screwed these players **** up above me and shut **** up to the left of me Because young blood is the best hockey movie of all time.
You have this Crosby like player that that has all scale in no grit, you know he can't make it.
He's got to get tougher.
So his dad pulls him, Assad and his brother pulls a massage.
And if they add tourism punch in that barn, you gotta learn how to survive on the ice.
You do have to learn how to survive in the ice.
Even as a skilled player, you gotta have that toughness to make in the NHL.
That is the best movie of all time.
**** all those movies.
That is the best.
Hold up, Hold up, Hold up Miracles. A good movie.
Not not as good as young, but no, because young bloods riel it's cut through its 1980 Olympics actually happened.
But so like it, So, like, that is the journey like you.
You can't just be skilled.
It's a great movie.
It's a great movie.
I will give you credit for that.
It's the most realistic hockey movie of all time.
It's the hockey at a serious crush on the girl.
Yeah, but blood is the best hockey movie.
There's just really no debate to it.
Plus, Patrick Swayze is in it.
Now I'm ready to listen to the other hockey debates and shut them down.
What about Dr What about like in the do***entary side? Okay, well, that's a different story.
Um, Russian *** Only Russian kings Grant.
I like King's ransom.
The 30 for 30 ESPN actually did something good in regard to the hockey.
I was pretty good. Well made.
No, I see I I I I was talking about the Oh, this something Sixt.
The Red Army is the 1980 perspective from the Russian side.
And I thought that was pretty e don't know.
Well, like, I mean, I just thought it was so different goal that I really liked it in and maybe have some bias because I am a huge Olympic hockey fan.
But you have a miracle.
Are you talking about the Are you talking about the one where the dude from the 1980 Russian team, like, brought his daughter like placid and all that stuff it was is that the one that the Russian six was the It was the original, uh, members that affected to come play over in the NFL.
Like, like, like came on me.
I've never seen that fatigues off and status, love.
I think you're talking with the one I'm talking about.
Where it's where it's Ah, I mean, uh huh.
I'll check that one out.
There's a lot of great movies, like Honestly, I didn't mind.
I thought that was pretty good movie It is.
Okay, maybe I was just Maybe it was the girl that got me to keep watching.
Yeah, I mean ending.
Really? Honestly, I love the whole movie until the ending, but I Was that the one? You that right? Yeah.
Don't talk about hockey movies on this ****ing platform.
You want to talk about football movies? Oh, God, Karen, I'm like, good side all night, e.
I already had my time, and I just drove back and I was like, Jax, the freaking Alabama streak of that just comes out of nowhere, e I don't like what they're saying.
I'm going to come right back.

So because I'm fortunate on SportsCastr, once you invite someone in, they can just come right back in.
So I'm sorry to do that to you guys, but I had to I saw unjust going through this this street by again had really had to make a line of everything.
Yeah, I'll get back out now.
However, if I if I hear it going again, you you start talking **** about young blood again.
I'll be right back in here.
