Okay, once again.
Good more walker to the sports talk with Carolyn Marsh.
Um, November 23rd.
We're gonna be going over.
L s u preview today.
Ls you will take on Texas A and M.
There will be this coming.
Um, Saturday, six.
We'll have the game for you on SportsCastrs, so that will be here.
So once again, we will preview L s U in Texas A and M uh, the game and also will have the editors who were on press conference around 12. 30.
So we will be doing that as well.
So, once again, let's go into the specifics of this game.
I'm gonna go into it a sui go.
So the poets in a little bit.
So let's say if we could pull, is that a little bit so you could see what we're doing on the on the screen.
So we'll be I'm doing this as we go.
So got it up on the screen.
So? So, once again, ls you will take on.
Let's go ahead and preview us.
Um, I got it up on my screen, so you'll see it.
Go over the breakdown we'll break down the matchup.
Gonna break this matchup down for you on the screen.
You will see it. Okay.
I don't know why would keep pulling this? I'm gonna break this down for you, so I'm gonna pull this match, pull us back a little bit.
Sorry about that.
Get this poll then.
Um so let me get this pulled in a little bit into the back, so we're gonna pull us in, so I'll put it right on the screen, so you'll see it.
So let's Let's go.
Let's go over the breakdown. Okay.
Once again, Um, l s u coming into this game scoring 34 points a game.
They scored 18 points a game.
Um, in, um, in retrospect.
So this is gonna be, uh, these two teams have been absolutely remember the two years ago with the seven overtime victory that Texas A and M had so that, um, Texas A and M coming in with 30 averaging 33 points a game.
They're averaging 33 points a game, also the averaging 16 points a game.
So that's a pretty good assessment right there.
Now, on first down, efficiency ls use at 24 1st downs and Texas A and M is at 23 1st down.
So it's a definite, um, breakdown right there when it comes down to those, um, situations for L S u and Texas A and M.
So I look at it this way.
These two teams are gonna be, um, um going at each other.
So running the football running the football will go over the running, the football, Texas A and M runs the ball 35 times 489 yards at the 5.
So they're pretty good on those clips right there When it comes down to it Now, L s U averages 3.
4 yards a carry.
They run 424 yards a game.
Now they're passing the football.
Um, Texas A and I'm passes for 254 yards a game.
L s U eyes at 3. 27.
So it's a pretty good um uh, edge ls you when it comes down to it now, the total yards L s u averages 451 yards a game.
9 yards for pop ls Texas A and M's at 4 43 that had 6.
Um, also, let's go through the road games.
They're gonna be They're gonna be on the road once again.
They're gonna be in College Station once again.
Ls use averaging 33 points on the road.
That 17 points at halftime.
Also, their first down deficiencies at 23 1st downs on the road.
And also the time of possessions at 32 15.
Now Texas A and M in home games.
Uh, this is gonna be a home game for them.
The averaging 33 points a game and also 17 points at halftime.
And also, they average 24 1st downs engaged.
Now the time of possessions.
Um um, at 31 minutes, so they're kind of a little behind the eight ball when it comes down to that situation.
Also, they run the ball, so they will run the ball 33 times in home games for about 190 yards.
So that's a pretty good clip right there.
L s u in road games, we'll run for 97 yards.
That's on 32 attempts.
So that's kind of the tip of the norm.
Now, the passing game L s U on the road passes for 338 yards.
They're at 435 total yards of games, so it's pretty assessed on the assessments.
Now, um, let's give you those numbers on once again.
Thanks for that.
20 and tips Appreciate it.
Um, Texas A and M passes for 262 yards there at 70% on the completion percentage.
That's pretty, um, good.
When it comes down to those completion percentage is there are the 7% mark.
Now, um, that's something right there.
So their completion percentage boxes that 61.
So I look at it this way.
I'm kinda kind of lyrical about this game between L s U and Texas A and M.
Hopefully, it doesn't go, um, like it did back two years ago.
Seven overtimes, um, in the fold, because look, that game right there, that should have never.
And I mean, never absolutely happen, going seven overtimes.
So that's what we're looking at right there when it comes down to it.
Um um, for L s u and Arkansas, uh, text saying, Excuse me.
Let's go over to must give you some ****ysis on there.
I'm going to switch it over to the Texas A and M screens.
I'm gonna be giving you some breakdowns on these on the points.
I'm not gonna give you those give you those third down conversion breakdowns.
I'm gonna do that for you.
Okay, let's give you those third down conversion breakdowns.
Okay, The third down.
Conversion breakdowns for Texas A and M.
There were 62% at 49 of 79 on, um, um, converting.
So they will convert on those third downs now, at home games, they're at 63.89.
So that's not that's kind of in the high sixties right there.
When it comes down to those, um, they're 23 of 36 so they go 23 of 36.
That's on third down.
Conversions going in tow.
Now, in the month of November, let's give you those month in November breakdown, they're at 75% so their third down conversion rates are going to be consistent when it comes down to it.
So if you look at this, um uh, for A and M.
Now let's go over to the fourth round rates.
We're gonna give you the fourth found rates.
I'm gonna give you those four found rates, and we'll give you ls use, um, third downs and forth down rates as well.
Okay, once again, um, they're two of six for about 33%.
So that 33% when it comes down to it and home games, that one of two for about 50%.
So they're at the one of two mark that's in three games now, in the month of November.
So the month of November, Texas A and M is that 50% when it comes down to those breakdowns.
So I'm kind of look at this game.
I'm kind of looking Look, ls you can get off the field on fourth down because they're one of two when it comes down to those, um, situations.
So I'm kind of lyrical about the about Texas A and M getting the ball on third down.
So that's just what we're breaking down here.
Now we'll break down the first sounds.
We'll go to the first sound.
I'm going to go to that.
First downs, Texas A and M has 142 but mostly they get there first downs on runs, 66 runs in 67 passes.
So they'll do 67 passes and 66 runs now in the home games that go there at 74 1st downs total, um, 37 on passes and 29 on runs.
So mostly past place.
They'll go, um, on first downs.
That's mostly what they do when it comes down to those, um, situation now on first downs in the month of November, they will get, um, 16 runs and 10 passes.
So six eso is 26.
1st down, 16 runs and 10 passes on those in the ****in Obama.
So that is how we break them down.
Now we'll go over to L s U.
Now we'll break down the L S U Tigers, and we'll give you, um, third down efficiencies.
We're gonna go ahead and give you those third down efficiencies as we go.
Um, so let's give you that.
34 of 89 coming into the game against Texas A and M, also on the road there are there gonna be on the road this week? They're averaging 33 on the road.
So there's 33 on the road.
That's what we're talking about here.
And this, Um um breakdown matchup between Texas A and M and, um l s u Now, let's go to the month of November.
We're gonna go to the month of November, ****led November there at, let's say, 52% there.
Nine about 23 of 12 or 23.
So they're 12 of 23 coming in to these matchups.
Texas A and M's got a pretty good, um, third down efficiency rate when it comes down to those situations.
Now let's go over to the fourth down.
We'll break down the fourth down, so we'll break down the fourth down.
Conversion rate, fourth down conversion rate.
Um, ls use, um, seven of nine for about 77.8%.
That's a pretty good 77.78%.
So that's a pretty good assessment when it comes down to it. That's on £4.
Now on the road ls use, um, five of seven for about 71%.
So it's a pretty good, um um, clip when it comes down to the, um, downs and distance for l shoot.
Now, um, in the month of November, on fourth down there, two of two for about 100%.
So 100% on those situations.
So this that's how you your slice it.
Now let's go to the first downs.
Let's go to the first down conversions.
First down conversions ls use at 1 46.
Mostly, they will get their first downs on pass plays, so they'll probably get those on pass plays.
96 pass place for first downs.
Now the They have 92 1st downs on the road.
They'll get mostly there.
Once again, they'll get mostly on past place so they'll get those pass plays.
Uh, coming in to the situation now in the month of November.
Let's go to the month of November.
I'm looking scrolling down the month of November.
So if you could see it, let me know.
I'm looking at it. ****in November.
Month of November L s U Right now it Z has 24 1st downs.
They have 16 runs a 16 past and seven run plays.
That's on first downs in the month on the of November.
Now we'll go over some Redstone deficiencies.
We're gonna go over Redstone a fishing.
We're gonna go over L s U.
And we're gonna go over Texas A and that will break that down player.
Okay, Red zone deficiency for Texas A and M.
Uh, there at 88% they have 23 scores and 2026 attempts.
They have 19 touchdowns and four, Um, now the red zone efficiency for L s.
She will break it down for you.
So we'll pull this up and I'll break this down for you.
Okay? Red zone efficiency for L s U is about 89% 17 and 1912 touchdowns and five interceptions.
That's how we break them down.
And for L s u and for L S u and Texas A and M, Texas A and M.
So once again, that's on the red zones.
Now let's go to the red zones for A and M on at home, there are 100% there, 12 of 12, so they're going to get make 12 or 12 in the red zone.
They're going to score nine touchdowns and three field goals now LSU in the red zone.
On the road, they're at 81%.
That's nine of 11.
So nine of 11, 7 touchdowns and two field goals.
So that's the breakdown we're giving you right here on this show today.
Um, in the month of November, Texas A and M, Um, is that 84% there, 60 them 19.
That's in for, uh, no month of November 5 or five.
So they're five or five.
Um, they also have five touchdowns and no field goals, so they have no field goals now in the month of November in the red zone for L S U.
Let's go over to that.
There are three of three in the red zone.
They have two touchdowns in one field goal.
So that's how we break them down.
So that's how the tip of the norm for L.
S U in Texas A and now coming into this game So that z what? We're breaking down eso I say this.
Look, if you if you can, um, slow Texas A and M down, that would be, um there would be a win for the defense.
But if you continue toe, let them get there.
Um, officials, She gone then then there's gonna be a problem.
So we have to be, um, recognize when it comes down to those, um, place it.
So let's go to the Let's break down the, um let's break down the what's breakdown the runners for, uh, the passes for text L s U and Texas.
And I'm going to do that.
We'll break that down for you.
We'll give you those breakdowns or give you those quarterbacks those comparisons.
I'm gonna give you those comparisons and those guys Okay, Kelly mounds, Kelly mounds.
Um, he's averaging.
Hey, has 16 touchdowns in two interception.
I, uh He has 244 yards passing now.
Um, TJ family TJ family.
In the last three games, he has, um, um, 57 of 87 passing.
He's, um, thrown for 679 yards, so he has four touchdowns and three interceptions.
So coming into this game is going to be a pretty good, complete duel when it comes down to it between my, um, Kevin Kelly mounds and, uh, TJ family.
So I look at it this way between these two quarterbacks, it's gonna be It's gonna be a There's gonna be a chess match is gonna be an absolute dual coming down to it.
Now we'll break down the we'll break down the running backs, the running backs for A and M, and, um L s u will break those down for you.
Okay, We're gonna go ahead and give you those breakdowns as we go.
Okay, Let's go to the A and M one. Okay.
Isaiah Spiller is their main back.
He's averaging 6.
2 yards a carry.
Also, Smith's, um, there South more running back.
He's also averaging five.
Hey, has touched down also.
Aker, aka Haney, aka Haney, has five close to a 6.
0 yards per carry.
So that's that's what we're looking at now, Kellen Miles.
It's also going to be there, um, running back quarterback combination.
He's averaging 3.5.
They have a pretty good, um, running back court when it comes down to it. Now.
On the other hand, has Davis Price um, Emery.
Emery is averaging 4.
6 um Price averaging 4.5.
He has three scores Now Curry will be the one of the he's averaging only three yards a carry.
Family, um, families got a pretty good, um, run.
He on the average want to carry.
So he's only, um, a passing quarterback.
Now, he's not a runner.
He almost like we have to make some plays with his feet, But the thing is, he will make him with with his arm.
So that's just some how we look at him when it comes down to it.
Now we're gonna go to the wide receivers, gonna break down the wide receiver corps for Texas A and M and l s u wanna break those guys down.
We'll do that and we'll go over to the wide receivers.
Okay, let's break down the wide receiver car.
I'm gonna be doing that in just a second so you'll see the screen.
You'll see it right on the screen.
Once again, Smith Smith has 26 catches.
He's averaging 12 yards a catch.
Also, Jayden, um water, water.
He's averaging 11 yards a catch.
This is another guy.
That's gonna be a big aspect for Texas A and M.
That's a that's gonna be, um, and then also they'll have lain lain his 13 yards a catch.
And also, Chapman has 14 yards a catch.
Another guy, they have spiller Spillers.
And not a God is going to be a big asset for A and M.
So you got you got these? Um, And then you got, um, aca aca he aca aca Hain, aka Haney, has 35 yards of cats.
So they're wide receiver corps is gonna be pretty, uh, stout when it comes down to it.
Now the L s U wide receiver corps, Let's go to the L S U wide receiver corps.
You have Marshall.
Marshall has 15 yards per catch. He's averaging.
He has nine touchdowns.
Also, he's averaging Gilberts averaging 11 0.
6 yards a catch, and also Jenkins averaging 17 yards a catch.
So he's been, um, highly productive on his catch.
This is another guy.
Booty has 13 yards a catch, but he's, um on.
Lee has 15 catches for almost 200 yards.
Now, racing MK maps Gonna be another guy for the Tigers.
That's gonna be a a big asset for the Tigers is, um, McMahon passed 13 yards a catch.
Um, John tro Kirkland has, um, 14 yards a catch, so that's pretty consistent right there.
So and I'm sure they have a good wide receiver corps.
But l s u also has a good wide receiver corps as well.
So we're gonna be depending on those guys to make those significant catches going into these, uh, to this game this Saturday when they take on Look, uh, else you could win this game.
Um, there will be four and three.
They got another.
They got old miss.
And they got Florida.
They could finish, um, the season six and three if I'm at, um and and get bowl eligible and get cold eligible.
So I look at it this way.
It's It's a lot of concepts in this game, so let's go over to the let's see, let's go over to the let's go over to the sack layers.
Let's go over to the sack.
Um, let's give you the sacks on L s U and Texas A and M.
Let's give you the sack leaders.
I'm gonna give you those.
Once again, Um uh, Texas.
And I'm has 16 sacks a game that z 100 yards.
Um, a game right there now.
L s u has 16 sacks. That's 103.
So both from both L S U and Texas and A and M has 16 sacks.
So this is gonna be a pretty good um uh, concept when it comes down to it.
Um, in the poll.
So So I look at it this way.
It's gonna be a good um, assistant.
Now, let's go over to the turnover battle turnover ratio.
I'm gonna go over to the turnover ratio, give you those numbers on them on a turnover ratio on both L S U and Texas A and M.
Okay, Texas A and M Once again, we'll give you Texas A and M's turnover ratio right now they're mine.
Um, all right, Um uh, plus one.
So there, plus one in the turnover ratio in the month of November there, plus two.
So they're plus two in the when it comes down to the turnovers for L S U and Texas A.
And now now LSU is plus zero in them up in November.
But there plus four when it comes down to the turnover ratio in the month of in the end, all games now, road games.
L s U is plus two going into this game against Texas A and M in home games, Texas A and M is plus two.
So it's plus to even for both L S, U and Texas A and M.
So that's how we look at it when it comes down to it.
So So, um, that is the key breakdown of these games turnover ratio and stuff like that.
Um, so let's give you the scoring.
I'm gonna give you the scoring or these two teams.
Okay, let's go ahead and give you the score.
Ing's I'm about to give you those in a second.
I'm gonna give you the game block scoring on l s u um, in Texas A and M A.
Pull that up on the screen, so give me one second to give you those.
I'm gonna put the split stats in, and we'll put the split stats and we'll have both split stats on, so I'll be, um, pulling this end.
Okay, splits that.
So let's give you ls use, um, home, uh, road game Texas A and M's averaging 33 points a game that z on a home.
They're also averaging, UM, 48 points when it comes down to the, um, month of November.
So they have averaging 48 points in the month of November.
Now L s U, on the other hand, in the month of November, is averaging 27 points.
Again, That's 27 points now in the road games.
Ls use averaging Onley 30 points.
So that's kind of the the tip of the North.
So Texas A and M's averaging 33 at home.
So that's a three point difference when it comes down to the scoring for L S U and Texas A and M.
So? So at least we got Let's go over the breakdown.
We'll go over to the Texas A and M.
It's a 14 point favorite.
We're gonna go through the write downs on them.
Okay, let's give you the right down.
Okay, when there are home favorite, averaging 10 to 14 points, Texas A and M is 15 and two straight up in 12 and five against the spread, so that's against the spread.
So they're 12 and five but the records 15 to 2 since 1993 at home that to and O straight up and two and go against the spread.
Yeah, and L s u when their underdog ls use four and three straight up and five and two and gets the spread.
That's the last three seasons.
Now, when l s u L s u plays against a team would have run a record that 12 and four straight up and 11 and four against the spread.
So that's just somehow we see the matchup going this coming Saturday because look, the last time these two teams played them, let them last year they just absolutely destroyed them.
Ls you just just just let him up.
They They won 52 7 last year, but that game two years ago was absolutely just, um just a shootout game on overtime.
70 e Think it was 77 71.
I think it waas back two years ago.
You don't want to get into those, um, shootouts like they did last time.
Aunt had to go seven overtime, So win the game.
So that's just something we shouldn't be doing.
We don't have no business doing.
So we gotta take care of our business this week versus, um, Texas A and M.
So, Yeah, so let's go ahead and get go over to the film going to give you a break down in the film for you.
I'm gonna break down Texas A and I'm gonna be doing some film breakdowns for you.
So let me get this, and then we'll have the editors air on press conference.
That will be at 12, 12, 30 12, 10.
We'll join the network.
Um, for the l s u press conference.
Will be around 12 10.
So we're gonna go over, uh, the film study.
We're gonna do that.
Let me get that put up on the screen.
So we're gonna be doing a texting and film study for a few seconds.
I'm gonna be breaking down the text and then South Carolina film first down and 10.
Okay, let's give you that break down, okay? It's once again, we're gonna break this down for your texting them.
And, um so I'm gonna put this on mute so I could break down the film.
Okay, let's give you what happened.
Okay? once again, this is on, um, 1st and 10, Texas A and M runs the ball.
Kellen Miles, this is one guy you cannot, um, miss tackles on right there.
That guy can run.
That guy is a good runner.
He's a good runner, Gets the first down out of bounds.
So nice or run by him, and then this is on 1st and 10.
Hey, has, um, um one back in the backfield so it looks like he's gonna throw the pass.
It's gonna throw a nice will pass the number 85.
That's a good reception right there.
But the thing is, it was against three defenders, um, South Carolina defenders on the play.
If, Okay, he throws a nice all strike right there. He throws a strike.
So he's absolutely gonna throw a strike when it comes down to it on those pass plays.
So it's gonna be a past flight coming in.
Okay, this is on our third and gold situation.
I must say that they could see it.
13 gold situation.
Um, Kelly mounds would throw a pass.
He would throw a nice or pass play, and that would be a touchdown right there.
So eso once again, um, defensively, you cannot allow these things that happen because they will score because they could score at any time.
They scored those 33 points on the road and at home, so they could just absolutely score.
So this was get South Carolina.
That was a good That was a play right there.
He just, um number zero is a good receiver.
He could catch the ball right on, right on the flat so he could catch the ball on the flat.
So he just threw a nice or pass right there through a nice or strike to number zero.
So he was the intended target, so he caught the ball.
So this is on the 2nd and 10 Kellen mounds.
Um uh, South Carolina will run therefore, run play coming up on this run play and a excellent run play by number 28.
So that's why I say you gotta slow those guys down when it comes down to it.
So see he so he'll get his own block.
So he's gonna handsome blocks on the right side.
So it's a block on the right side.
So it's an excellent block by their offensive line.
Okay, this is on third and one.
So they all Kellerman's will throw a pass right here, so he'll throw a nice will pass, and they will get it in the end zone for a touchdown to number 85.
So number 85 gets the reception.
Good catch right there.
But that's the young guy We're talking about.
That z Watt Amata.
Why am I making the catch? Nice or catch by him.
So hey, had some pretty good coverage right there.
Um, so they had some rush on them.
They had to rush on him right here.
They had to rush on Kelly Miles, but he got the ball off in time.
So he got that ball off in time.
He was wide open.
Why my Why? Mayer was wide open.
This is on 1st and 10.
Um, one back in the backfield.
So let's see what happens with this play.
He would throw a pass and the defense would make a good place.
So that's the reason why you can see, uh, family has toe just don't throw that ball up, because that's gonna be a pick right there.
That's gonna be a pick six or pick.
So he has to be on very recognized on those throws when it comes down to it.
Because they could throw, they could get a pick six right there.
A quick pick six.
Yeah, because he'll try to throw the ball, and he just absolutely just intercepted it right there.
That was an interception.
Um, then why I received, But he just absolutely just caught the ball.
That's called, um, caper caper.
Just makes it nice for catch.
Now, this is on the run place, so they're gonna they're going to run the ball.
So it's South Carolina is gonna run the ball.
They did a pretty good job running the ball against the Texas A and M that was on one on the first attempt.
Play right there.
So that was a pretty good run.
Play right there, coming in.
So you gotta be more consistent when it comes down.
So if you can, um, spawn up a run against the Texas A and M defense, that would be a good investment to run the ball against them.
So So this is the number 33 this guy.
I'm gonna tell you, this guy had some good pressure on the quarterback, so he went down on the sack, play right there.
So a sack play? Uh, on 1st and 10.
So he had some pressure One.
That's why I say that's why it's very important, not Thio.
I have the offensive lined.
It is absolutely just block.
They have to block because we don't block.
That can happen, so they have to be more consistent.
When it comes down to that, I'll play.
This is on 32 situation right here.
32 we'll run the ball in 28 Would get a big game right there.
So that that guy, I'm gonna tell you he could get a big game, so that was a very big game.
But for the running back, they get in the red zone.
So they get in the red zone and that run place.
So they get a in the red zone so they don't make them.
That that was a nice little block right there.
So you have to close those lines up when it comes down to it, you have to close the line and blow up those plays.
Okay, this is on 3rd and 4th city.
Um, Kela Miles, um, in the stock information.
Kell amounts, um, would throw, throw a pass right here.
There will be a nice or pass play toe y Meyer again for a touchdown, so it gets it in the end zone.
So they let in that game they let in that game, um, on a on a touchdown so he would throw it right there.
Would throw a nice hole path, play Tom for the touchdown.
So this is on 2nd and 10, so they would have to throw.
So he throws a nice for pass play once again.
That that that guy could catch the ball.
He could flat out catch the football.
He can catch the football.
Now run play Coming in.
That was up the middle.
So nice will run up the middle.
So that's what they do.
They run the ball up the middle on the run. Play.
Now this is on 1st and 10 eso.
They'll go with the option play right here.
so eso he'll be the keeper.
Hey, will get in the end zone.
So, Kelly Miles, look, they're going to run the option.
They're definitely going to run that option.
The only the best thing to do with that is to slow that play down, because that can cause get that dropped.
I don't want I don't wanna That can cause ah, lot of them confusion and stuff like that.
So they have toe be more consistent when it comes down to it.
They went up 21 up, and they just Absolutely just, um, had a pretty good third quarter.
So that's Carolyn Miles from 15 yards away.
He can absolutely run, but he'll do.
He'll do the option place.
So Okay, so that was a run play.
That was not that was a keeper right there.
He had a keeper.
Okay, so that that was another, um, that was highlight film.
Okay, this is on first of 10.
Looks like he will.
Um, yeah, you call for the football, but it'll have to throw the but the defense.
Just stuff them out right there.
That's on first Intense.
So they get Ah, sack right there.
So that's number six.
That Number five. That guy Brown.
He's just something else.
And that past plate coming up and that is going to be caught, but it brings up third and nine.
So he does get out of bounds.
So it was a good defensive play by number 17.
Coming up from South Carolina, he, um he gets maybe some yards right there.
He don't get to the sticks.
So here comes the past plate coming up from and that it's going to be an interception.
So they they are very, to be honest with you, they are very optimistic when it comes down to those place.
Um, they will get an interception right there.
That would be on fourth and four.
Um, so we'll be joining.
The editors are on press conference.
Um, in just a few moments, we'll be joining the network for the editors on press conference.
So it'll be, um, we'll have, uh, talking about l s u and Texas A and M.
Okay, 27 or nothing.
Uh, Kelly Miles would throw a nice or past plate, so that would be a touchdown in the end zone.
That would be, um, AKI.
I mean, if I'm saying his name right is at a C so as after he gets a touchdown so nice or catch.
Had pretty good.
They have pretty good coverage going in, and he would have a nice or pass play up the middle.
And that's something you got to avoid, right? There's those explosive plays going into the in the end zone because they could make those explosive plays at any time when it comes down to it.
So, um, we will go to the editors are on press conference in just a few moments that we're gonna be going over there.
Um, let's go see if they're up.
The videos are up.
See if they're up on the screen yet waiting for it to come on.
So it should be up in a few minutes for L s u press conference at Earth's wrong with syriza up.
What is waiting for the press conference to begin? We'll turn the mics over so you could hear the sound on it.
So we're waiting for the press conference toe to begin in just a few moments? Not yet.
So we're gonna go through some more plays.
Texas A and M South Carolina plays, um, in the game last Saturday.
So once that was touched down, right that Cal amounts, it throws a nice or strike.
So that's one thing you got toe do is not let him get any, um, scores like that.
So this is on second and nine situation.
They have to backs in the backfield.
Let's see what happens on this play.
Uh, mouths will throw a screen pass once again Toe aka Haney on on a on the catch.
He would get that a big game right there, so he throws the screen.
So those screenplays, they're gonna be very important.
We have to slow those screenplays down on defense, because if you give those, um, that's gonna turn in tow, explosive plays when it comes down to it.
So we have to be more consistent when it comes down to those screenplays.
So that Z Okay, this is on second and two, so they don't run the ball now, they'll run the ball up the middle on second and two and get in the end zone so they'll get in the end zone on second and two.
So that's a pretty good run.
Play right there.
So they had some, Let's see, they had some nice little, um, eso He goes wide into that, that whole right there.
So it was a pretty good run Run rump, like going up the middle so they get it.
So that's, um, a run play.
So this is on 1st and 10 pass a, uh, by South Carolina.
They would get the big play right here.
So it's a big play coming out, but of the arm so they would have to kick a field goal that would be on a three and out.
They would kick a field goal and they would get the field goal would be 41 3.
Texas A and M once again. Third and seven.
They would, um hey would throw a pass play right here.
So it's not telling mounds and some throws at the 42.
He would get walking the end, just walk in the end zone for a touchdown.
So once again, um, Texas A and M wins that game.
To be honest, with you.
Look, those plays that they had in that game was absolutely, um, explosive place that they have, so I'll be honest with you.
Look, South Carolina get a very **** poor job when it comes down.
Toe covering Carolyn Miles.
They couldn't get a single blitz on him.
So look, if you else you look, you have tow have blitzes.
Look, I know both Pollini will put in some on packages for Kelly Mounds, so I think that's probably gonna happen going down the line.
So we will go to the l S u press conference Editors.
Ron, we'll be talking about this game, so I'm gonna be going over today, Um, in just a second, I'm a switch over.
We'll be going over to the L S U press conferences.
See if we have it coming up.
I will turn the mic.
Um, so we're waiting on the press conference to begin.
Uh, it looks like it's not started yet, so we just should be on in just a few moments are waiting for the press conference to begin on, so let's see if he's on.
Now. Let's see if he's on live.
We'll wait now, waiting on a press conference to begin.
It should be up in a second.
Let's say that can't save the feeds up.
So we've ever pick it up for you.
Toe waiting on a press conference to begin waiting on the less you press conference.
Yeah, there it is.
Theaters were on press conference up.
We'll be getting ready to go there.
Let's go there now.
But the mites on killed the mic, stood it.
Come put the mikes to the young back on, then.
Tiger's got a football game this past Saturday, and right now they've got a football game coming up.
This Saturday will be on the road again, taking on Texas A and M from cow field.
Coming up at the bottom of the hour is we always do here on the Monday show handed off the head coach at oh, Sharon.
He'll make his opening statements on the wind this past Saturday on the road against Arkansas, 27 24 we'll give a brief scouting report I want to expect from the Aggies.
And then, of course, we'll take questions from the assembled media virtually here on the cocoa press conference.
Gordon Rush, joining me a Korean.
Uh, it was quite the weekend we got to spend an extra night in The Big D made our way back to Baton Rouge yesterday.
But the good news is, and the only story that matters is that less You play the game for the first time in three weeks and came away with a W.
Yeah, I think the biggest storyline has to be that this team, this young team, responded to the adversity up there in Arkansas.
They dominated the the time of possession with 42 minutes fell behind in the fourth quarter, and T.
Finley, freshman quarterback and some of these young playmakers found a way to come back and win that football game.
Ward, of course, a little bit of redemption with the blocked field goal attempt.
And that's the That's the big thing.
They found a way to win an sec game on the road, and again you had the young guys, Askew pointed out.
J Finley, who looked good early Tigers, built a 10 point lead there before the half, 17 to 7, then some adversity on.
And then that's when everybody thinks started to wonder.
Okay, he pretty much had things going his way against South Carolina against Auburn.
Got rattled a little bit, was unable to overcome that.
And to me, the drive down the field eventually finding Dre Jenkins for the go ahead score in the fourth quarter was huge.
And it says a lot about that young man. No question.
The poise that he showed in the pocket on that last drive hung around times.
The Times in which Arkansas Rush three.
They dropped eight.
They're going to take away your primary route, sometimes your second round, and it's your ability to hang around in the pocket, move in the pocket to avoid a little bit of the rush and find an open receiver.
That's what you gotta do.
Is is a quarterback when they're dropping eight.
And he did exactly that huge touchdown passageway.
For all the years I've been doing, play by play, I've never tried to get caught up in a single stat in the game because when you hang your hat on that, sometimes it comes back to be useless and we kept talking about Is the game war on? You know there was a point.
Their third quarter was almost over.
There was a It was almost a almost a ballgame.
And as you said, eventually trailing late in that game nearly 42 minutes.
As you pointed out, Time of possession.
18 minutes for Arkansas.
But the reason that status useless is big plays giving up defensively.
And that's the issue for L s u On Been in there in the second half when Arkansas got rolling.
I mean, they didn't even try to hide the fact that they were simply going to snap the ball to Frank's in the shotgun he was on.
And then he was gonna even try E o E stat among the bottom teams in terms of giving, giving up those big explosive pass plays.
And if you took away those pass plays and e want to say that there was maybe three or four of them in that game in Clinton 65 yard touchdown, the trail on first.
It's a different type of game, but that's something that L s U struggled with this season.
Three other side of that equation, Chris, is this is the offense forest.
Long as they held the football, there were twice that they had to settle for field goals.
There was once in which Terrence Marshall Jr had a fumble down there in the red zone and the Tigers drove the football down the field.
They just didn't finish off drives.
You gotta finish off with touchdowns and you got to finish off drives with points.
And if they had done that, this game may not have been as close.
You and I have not had a chance to go back and watch the film again.
Sometimes we're able to do that on Sundays.
Yesterday, based on her travel, just wasn't enough time in the day.
But I wanted to get your thoughts on the offensive line because, you know, when we were here last week, we were talking about the struggles they had against Auburn.
There was no running game to speak of, uh, TJ Finland.
Eventually, Max Johnson were under duress at the snap of the football.
And even though it wasn't a gangbusters day running the football for L S u.
You go back to that Go ahead.
Finley had all day, uh, Thio eventually find Jenkins coming open.
But I thought overall I thought the offensive line played well.
If you simply look at the running totals, you may be fooled by that.
But I think you've got to tip your cap to Arkansas.
Depleted upfront as we know.
But I thought the back end of their defense did a good job covering that up against the Russian attack.
Look, I think the game playing from from Steve Ensminger and Company was solid.
And that was the matchup, the favorite.
L s U the offensive line against a defensive line that was missing seven of their top 10 defenders.
We had to go deep in the depth chart to see numbers 45 and six that were dressed out as Arkansas Onley at six.
Defensive lineman that that were dressed for the ballgame and an offensive line that did what they were supposed to.
Yeah, I think that's a confidence builder, Chris.
You know, to them, it doesn't matter who was on the other sideline that you were able to run the football.
You were able to have success.
By and large, you were able to to protect T. J. Finley.
Look, I think that's a win for L s U upfront and this offensive line that's been hit or miss this season on the defense is afraid.
Arkansas, on the defense aside, look a lot of credit.
The barrio, His name has been mentioned as a Broyles candidate, finalist for assistant coach of the year.
And what What? He has to work with Chris, and I'm talking about when you see you see the eye test and their teams like L S U and Alabama Florida.
When you see them, they pass the eye test.
Arkansas is rebuilding that program.
He does not have the size.
It doesn't look like a true SEC defense in some position.
But it gets this team to play hard.
They play discipline.
And as you mentioned there, run fits on the perimeter.
There were no big explosive plays from L s U on the run game.
You know, we talk about Arkansas and limited numbers they had on the fact that the Razorbacks, especially in the second half, were able to hit for some big plays that that set up scores, eventually allowing them, uh, to take the lead.
But you can't tell that story without talking about really and experienced and young secondary for L.
S U that was thrown into battle not for a couple of plays but for a large portion of the second half.
Number one, because the lyrics was ruled for targeting Way, said on the air, I'm not sure what targeting means anymore.
I'll just wait for them to tell us, Uh, from this point on, I'll stop guesstimating so he's gone.
And then, of course, unfortunately they're extremely junior banged up a little bit and he was gone throughout the rest of the second half.
Eso again, Arkansas their credit offensively, Andi Kendall Briles said.
Hey, let's pick on some of the guys that don't have as much experience out here on this stage.
And that's the thing Arkansas has had success with.
They've had the home run ball, especially with Berks, who had one in this game.
He's been fantastic, both running the football and catching the football.
And Woods had it was coming off a huge game with two long touchdowns against Florida.
You know they were going to take shots and, you know, I think it's one of these things with the young defensive backs you need to know down and distance in game situation.
Talked about Jay Ward at the at the end of the half, getting given up a long pass with four minutes left.
He's up there playing press coverage.
That's the time that you wanna play soft 7 to 8 yards off the line and make Frank's complete three or four around three or four passes on underneath.
And, you know, look for for me when I've gotta pull the depth chart out of my back pocket.
We hadn't seen Dwight McGlothlin since.
I think the first game and all of a sudden Rick, not Ricky.
But Stingley goes out and number two is out there on the football field and I knew his last name. I'm checking.
It's Dwight, right? It's just to make sure he's an outstanding prospect.
But you're talking about J.
Ward that's coming off a knee surgery that's got thrown in action, A true freshman on the road, in the rain, playing in Arkansas.
You've got to step up in this time again.
Kudos to Zach Pond Rosenberg.
Hey loves to engage on social media, and, boy, he's been backing it up when he gets out there on the field.
I mean an excellent job flipping field position.
A number of times we could get into the way.
Arkansas was able to negate that quickly with the big play.
But all in all, special teams.
Pretty solid in a day where, as it turned out, they needed him.
No question and a lot of credit getting J.
We just talked about him getting B on that long pass in the second half of the football game.
He bounces back, comes off the edge in huge block on a game time field, gold.
And yes, L s U special teams.
They got the check mark in that football game.
One of the reasons L s U one.
Yeah, 44 yarder.
But certainly as we pointed out, the long had been 48 yards, so they felt like it was in it within his range.
And J Ward stepping up big just got the fingertip on it and slowed the ball up enough.
It was nowhere close to getting to the crossbar.
And l s u gets out of Fayetteville winning 27 to 24 now three and three on the season.
They go back out on the road this Saturday.
It's Texas A and M.
It's ls you We're gonna take a quick break here on the Coach O press conference presented by Cox Will tell you what we know about Texas A and M s.

Thanks for joining us here.

Gonna go some tweets for a second, and then we'll go back to the Editors from press conference are presented by the L S U Sports radio network here on SportsCastr.

So that is pretty good.
So let's go back to the editors around Press conference presented by the L s u Sports radio network here on SportsCastr.
Ended off to head coach.
Does your on for the Cocoa press conference presented by Cox on this Monday.
Tigers now get sent to take on Texas A and M coming up this Saturday.
Kyle field kick off just after six o'clock.
Alright, Texas A and M l s u.
And the rivalry certainly has heated up.
It wasn't a rivalry for so many years because Texas A and M couldn't beat L s u.
That all changed after the seven overtime gang.
Um, Then last year, we all know what happened here in Tiger Stadium is Jimbo.
And the Aggies were absolutely steamrolled by Joe Burrow and company this year.
And M Gordy, coming in five and one on the season lopsided, lost Alabama 50 to 24.
Got the big win over Florida again.
Started the season.
They just got by Vandy 17 to 12.
Um, would you say fair to say best and M Team Jimbo has had since he's been there while two years ago, I thought that was a pretty good football team, the one that beat L S U and that seven overtime game.
And I'm not exactly sold on this bunch yet simply because the winds the winner gets Florida obviously is a big one.
But they beat Vanderbilt, Mississippi State, Arkansas in South Carolina, And you obviously called South Carolina at a rough spot a couple weeks ago and eso for me two years ago, I think was a better football team.
And here's why, Chris, They were a physical, physical running football team that Williams, the outstanding tailback, and I thought Kellen Mom, especially in the back half of the year, had a really solid season.
They lost a lot of those offensive linemen.
A year ago, they lost their ability to run the football, and Kellen Mond struggled last year in his junior season.
This season, they're better running the football.
They're averaging 189 yards per game.
Isaiah Spiller, their young running back who played a year ago, has been better, averaging 107 to 107.
2 yards per game with five touchdowns.
And because of that, Monde has been more efficient as a quarterback.
16 touchdowns, two interceptions, 64% completion, 245 yards a game.
So I think this looks more like a Jimbo Fisher football team.
Well, when you look at the numbers again, LS use we pointed out in the first segment.
Struggling against big plays, especially in the passing game, in fact, may be dead last in the country with plays over 50 yards orm or that's the matchup.
You start looking at number one because of what you mentioned Kellen Mond much more efficient this year.
Throwing the football eyes only thrown two interceptions on the year to 16 touchdowns.
As you pointed out, Texas A and M right now, averaging just over 250 yards per game through the air and just under 13 yards per catch.
And now back to the 50 plus yard deal.
They've got three on the season of over 50 yards.
They've got +23 Mawr that air right near the half century mark.
And then when you take in consideration there, leading receivers, they're tight end Jalen Wider Meyer, who's averaging 11.
You probably can inflate that number of the balls that have been thrown to the wide receiver, and that's where L s u.
It struggled especially out there on the edge, and Osbon, their outstanding receiver, was coming back for a senior year, decided to opt out.
And with that, there's a lot of new faces.
Smith, Chase Lane, Caleb Chapman.
All guys that have had to step up is young players and they have played well for him all right defensively for Texas A and M holding teams to under 100 yards rushing right at 96 yards per Game 242.
They're giving up through the air played Vander Bill. They played Alabama.
They played Mississippi State, who never runs the ball.
Arkansas and South Carolina, who they dominated their last time out.
November 7th, 48 to 3.
What does that rushing stat defensively tell you about Texas A and M? Or can it tell you anything? Yeah, and and that's what's really hard for me to grasp because of the schedule they played.
They played two great teams in Alabama, Florida, and I know that L S U loss of Mississippi State, but they caught Mississippi State a month after and after everybody kind of figured out how toe defend Mike Leach.
The game that I look at is the 42 31 game on Halloween in which they beat Arkansas 42 to 31 we just got a good look at that Arkansas offense.
And yet Texas A and M still gave up 31 31 points.
Look, they've had some struggles on the back end against Alabama and Florida.
They threw the football with some ease.
I'm really curious that I think it's a good Texas A and M defense.
I certainly don't think it's in the late one we saw.
Ls you play football Saturday for the first time in three weeks? That's Jim Bows Challenge this week.
Of course, as I said November 7th.
So three weeks when they suited up against L S U, albeit at home this Saturday? No, no question in getting the timing back, especially when you talk about the success the passing game has had and those young receivers are they able to get their their their timing back? Because one thing about L.
U I know they've given up some big plays.
But even here in San Pittman's press game, ah, post game press conference, he talked about one of the problems that they had being consistent in the past game was LS usability toe Put some tight man coverage out there, especially in the intermediate routes again, coming up today at Azure in just moments away from addressing the media, I have to believe, uh, they'll probably be a question or two about Miles Brennan.
I know he was with the team was throwing the ball a little bit before the game on Saturday, probably want to get an update on him looking for, as coaches said a miraculous recovery aan den questions, obviously, about their extremely junior and going into this week against the team that has the propensity toe beat you through the air. Yeah, no question.
If l she's got to go out there again with with young young defensive backs on the corner.
Jim, Jimbo Fisher is going to take advantage of that.
And so, hopefully Stingley, this was just kind of got we talked about.
It was kneed in the head.
They they brought him into the locker room.
Hopefully, is gonna be able to play this weekend.
Well, congratulations to Andre Anthony, and I can't believe it's taken me, what, almost 20 minutes to come up with it.
But he was named SEC defensive sort of last Monday with outstanding week of preparation.
They had the will to win the whole game.
It was a tough, hard fought battle.
Give credit, Arkansas Excellent game.
Here's some of the things that we did very well, and we said we have to do well going into the game Control The time of possession have had the ball for almost 42 minutes with outstanding job.
Coach has been calling plays and managing the game 12 or 23.
On third down, there was zero of 10.
That was a big part of the football game.
I thought, played a good game.
He had no turnovers at that game.
Winning, throw them.
Nobody was open.
The executed scramble rules to read.
Jenkins got open.
What a great player about him.
Price I, one of his best games over 100 yards rushing, brought some physicality.
Exactly what we wanted.
We wanted to be able to control the line of scrimmage, and it was a big part of his running.
I thought Old Line did a good job to give up no sacks. E.
Thought Jerry Jenkins had one of his best games on defense.
We had a good plan versus the hurry up offense.
We gave them the ball.
We went three and out.
That was big for us to get lined up, get our clicks in the grass with a simple game plan and we let our guys play again.
I said there was 10 on third now, uh, Jabril Cox's interception obviously.
Ah, game winning play there.
Andrea Anthony had his best game.
Young players had to step up with the cornerbacks getting hurt.
I thought I second young secondary did a lot of good things.
Ward, stop on third down was a phenomenal play.
Zack had a great game.
Five punts inside the 10 yard line, the difference in the game of the field position and again, the block field goal by by our special teams at the Texas A and M Really good football team going on the road.
Well coached team color Bonds.
We got a strong offensive line.
Kenyan Green is a guy we recruited, but probably one of the best guards in SEC, if not the country.
They have the number one defense and SEC.
I think their 12th in the country and Russian defense.
Very tough, very solid football team.
But we're gonna be ready for the challenge.
It's gonna be a kind of a short week.
Our players gonna go home for Thanksgiving.
We have early, uh, practical on Thursday morning, then come back on Friday and get ready to go to Texas A and M.
Any questions Yeah.
How often this year? I mean, in comparison the last year offenses trying, you know, down the road, Browse, picking your your second There.
It seems like you got better at that against Arkansas.
Something people kind of holding.
When you playing man coverage, you're going to get that.
And the and bows worked very hard against, You know, some of our defense is a part man part zone.
It all depends on the formation.
But when you get a slot like that and you get two guys rubbing you, it's gonna be hard.
You know, we got we got better at it, gave the 1st 12 touchdowns the rub route.
You gotta put him on different levels.
You gotta make adjustments and maybe help with the safety on top.
And it seems like Mike a basketball play well in those situations, too.
I mean, way has he kinda earned his spot there.
And what did you see him? You know, he's able to kid diagnose Mike.
Michael was the five a player of the year and eventual high school.
That's why I, recruited by excellent player in high school when he first came here, was having a good year.
A ZA freshman showed us that he can keep diagnosed.
He fits in well in Khost, played this game.
He gets to the football.
He's a tremendous young man.
Hey, Coach Paul, born from Contact Sports Television way, always hear the expression that losing hurts worse than winning feels good.
But I imagine, after three weeks, winning felt pretty good.
Uh, yeah, I was excited for the coaching staff.
Excited players, our teams, L s U fans.
And again, it took everything we had to beat Arkansas and we did it.
And hopefully it's a springboard for us to have.
Ah, great end to the season, starting with Texas A and M.
Hey, Coach Shade Dixon with 24 7.
You said before the season you thought Andre Anthony would be more of a natural fit playing in a 43 in.
Now he's got, you know, up there in the D line, lead in sacks and tackles list, sort of key for him to settle in and, you know, playing on the edge.
You know, you want your best pass rusher to write in him and B J play that right in position.
He gets a lot of one on ones with the offensive tackle coming on the blind side.
He's got a nice what he calls a double hand swipe.
You know, 11 of the tackles for loss.
So we had a nice stunt on.
It was a triple.
He was coming around.
We ran right into the best point in the quarterback.
So I think the attacking defensive line is what you're seeing instead of sitting back and read getting the backfield making place.
And he's perfect for that.
Hey, Coach, this is Jared Rodman with the readily we've seen in years past and even this year's, well, Texas Am games where there is defensive pressure on Kevin Mahn, he struggled in the pocket.
How important is it for this team to develop a good pass for some really make him on field? You know what makes sense? You know what you're saying makes a lot of sense.
Last year, we put some pressure on them on, uh, we're gonna have to just like any game.
But you know what? The good part about this team is that we could put pressure on the foreman Russia.
I feel comfortable.
Uh, Russian for and playing coverage.
That's what That's your best defense.
Now if we have to blitz, Um, we have to put some pressure on the ball, has a bunch of blitzes, but I think the first thing that we need to do is be able to rush before Hey, Coach Josh Silly.
With Louisiana gridiron football just going back to that pass rush, uh, you know, uh, am comes into the game allowing only two stacks this year.
It's a game where you lean heavily on that pass rush and get more pressure from different angles, trying more pressure than, uh, way have to get some of the mall quick.
A lot of play action pass.
But you know what? I don't know much about them.
Won't only giving up two sacks.
I know that already.
I don't know why, then study them that much.
But I do believe we could put pressure.
I'm not killing.
Uh, he's a dual threat quarterback.
He can avoid the rush and run the football much like Philippe France last week.
We'll have to be able to contain them.
Hey, do you not have a single house? Yeah, they're still practiced today.
He's gonna be in the gold jersey.
Hey, Looks like he's gonna be okay.
I haven't had a final.
He's not clear totally yet, but it looks like he's gonna be fine.
Uh, you know, with an update on Racy as well.
And it looks like hold up races out.
He's very doubtful for the game.
Hey, Coach within the Texas A and M here first trip back there since that seven over a couple of years ago.
E think that, you know, you could internally, I thought about it this morning, to be honest with you.
When I saw the film and I saw the stadium, some thoughts came by.
And But you know what? It's my job to be ableto prevent problems this week, Have a great practice and not not allow those things that happened.
That happened to us last last time.
And we got we got to go and play our best game.
I think Texas A and M is a much better team when they're playing at home.
Then they're playing on the road.
A t least our Siris.
Are they gonna play their best football? They're gonna have a great crowd.
Probably the first time, and I'm imagining they have a great crowd.
Probably first time this year, that the crowd noise will be a factor.
We're gonna have to be able to handle it.
Well, better handle the emotions.
They're gonna be sky I They haven't played in a while, but so will we.
John Audio is not working.
Just hopeful to my audios now.
Well, welcome accident, Ed.
Hey, Coach head here in New Orleans.
Um how much do you think the defense is improved? And do you think that both Fellini as steady that unit And are you pleased with what you see on that side of the ball recently? Yeah, Well, I play is the way we played for most of the game against our himself.
I thought that we had a glitch in the grass.
We had a great plan for the hurry up offense, but still not pleased with the deep balls.
Still not pleased with the rub row? Still not pleased with the explosive plays and definitely not please, by the way, we played most of the season.
Now we need to improve to be a championship defense, and everybody knows that.
Hey, Coach, obviously Texas A and M comes in with a pretty high power run rushing attack.
You guys did, you know, show some strides last weekend against Arkansas area.
I was just wondering just watching you.
What were some of the things you guys you did a little bit better in South? Well, you know, I thought all guys dominating their offensive line.
Aziz, First time I could tell you that.
I think that we have some little run stunts in there that we did very well.
We played. We played with good technique.
We didn't let the ball run inside the tackles, and we tackled well.
Now Texas A and M has a great running attack.
Spiller is an outstanding player.
They have some speed back there to put different guys back there to run Tommy Robinson, who played coach with US coaches.
The running back does a great job.
You could see 21 personnel, you will see 12 Personnel is a lot of pro style stuff.
Jimbo is a very good coach.
They used their tight end well.
They throw through their tight end, very balanced offense, but the run game starts with their offensive line, and I think this would have been offensive lines that we have faced this year.
Hey, Coach, I don't know if you can hear me, but a couple of quick questions for you.
Number one How many scholarship players that you have available for this game? You have any kind of idea? And second, And the second half, Gilbert appeared to running down the scene open and just didn't quite hit with those those kind of plays that he is gonna make moving forward.
Well, when I saw him in the hall, uh, today I said, Throw the number two.
Okay, If all else fails, just throw the number two right, and I don't know the amount that we had.
I don't check that.
We traveled with 69.
That's that's what we had on on the plane.
We could travel with 70 but we're at 69 when we travel.
Hey, Coach Amos, Morale from WWL radio.
You mentioned sending the guy's home for Thanksgiving, and I was just wondering if you had to preach any extra precautions because of the pandemic and, you know, telling you a lot more careful this year.
Yeah, yeah, definitely.
They would go home and have having with your family.
Only you know who's there.
Obviously don't attend any parties or no big gatherers, but I think, you know, going home with your family this Thanksgiving.
I think it'll be fine.
We test all guys.
Uh, they're gonna follow all the precautions.
Shell is gonna talk to him about leaving, going home.
What? They should what they should and they shouldn't do.
I think we'll be fine.
Hey, Coach, this is William Tiger Rag.
Get your thoughts on the review in the film of the Lives Breaks is targeting call.
Second, who replaces him for the first time on Saturday? You know, uh, you know, he did hit him with Hit with the shoulder first, but they had hit.
I thought it was target.
And so I got no beef for that.
I think it was It was a good call.
You know, we haven't decided who's going to start for him yet.
We have toe making between Cornell and J.
It was available, and we'll make that decision towards the other week.
Uh, the SEC did not release any TV plans for next week's games.
Obviously looks like there could be some shuffling the schedule.
How How much are you involved? Are being Lupin on videos decisions? And how do you prepare you knowing that your opponent could change the way you know? The good thing is, we knew this season will be very fluid.
We're focusing on Texas A and M, but I sure hope that there is scheduled Alabama game.
We wanna play Alabama.
It's a great robbery.
And then we look forward to playing them so they can fit it into what we can play Alabama.
I'm sure that they're gonna do it.
We have Alabama, We have Florida.
We have almost left.
And those are also great games and we're ready to play every one of them.
How do you weigh? Were scheduled focus next week.
So we have all this I minus and breaking down on this.
We have already broken down Alabama because we thought we're gonna play off at the beginning.
And then we are already broken down Florida.
So that's done So assed faras the ****ytical work.
Most of us been done.
Not the last couple of games haven't been done, but we have enough information that if we need to start new next week or anybody else, we're gonna be ready to go.
Those S****** Hobbs and Lake Charles Scott kinda ask my question, but I'll follow up on it.
What do you think is the hang up? It seems like a pretty simple solution to get the Alabama game reschedule.
What? What do you think? They're waiting on your school.
That's all my wheelhouse.
Uh, I have no clue, but I know that my gut feeling this that that is gonna be rescheduled.
I hope it iss and look forward.
Player, You're Coach.
Do you, uh, think that your team has eyes? May be starting to grow up a little bit or is Can you see that? Because on Saturday it looked like in a lot of respects, Um, the old ls you better defense.
Running the ball with his team is maybe starting a toe, get it? Whatever that is.
Yeah, it sure looks like it is.
It felt like it.
And you know what? Not only felt like it during the game, it felt like in those three weeks of practice.
And we was embarrassed about our performance at Auburn I took a plane.
We got to get better. We gotta practice better.
We have better leadership.
We got a coach better and we would not playing like ls you should play.
Uh, did we play like an L S U football team? We looked at it that sometimes we look like a Nelson football team, but we still have ways to go.
But we have some young players that are believing and hopefully making the player.
The last play of the game gave our guys, um, belief in some confidence to fight through it.
They could wait, coach, going back for a second.
Whenever you're talking about crowd newest being the factors make it for the first time all year how he's simply helping TJ Maxx play or that atmosphere.
Yeah, Far snap count for number one.
How we're gonna handle the snap count. That's huge on the road.
We know we play music.
We play dog has a John Deere with a big speaker right behind it.
And we play some music as a lot as we possibly can.
We get tired of here, they don't choose them Wednesday and then, you know, just give him, Give him a situation the way he's gonna be calm and that he could make the right calls.
No, just Steve molten from W Z Z in, um, with Texas A and M being out a couple of weeks and really what you've seen out of what they've put on film, I'm wondering especially offensively how this team, you think has grown from last year to this year.
Well, I think it starts with the physicality.
I mean, their offensive line is a lot better offensive line that we played last year that run games a lot better.
Kellerman is playing better.
They protected them only two sacks.
And then you gotta look at their defense together.
No more defensive in the SEC.
That's very impressive.
The tough against the run there, their defensive warriors could dial up blitzing.
They could play a 43 They could play a 34 That defensive lines played very well.
I just think they're playing overall good football and improved almost every area since last year.
Yeah, following up on a question from earlier.
I mean, so how how old they started forming behind racing fills in for him where you'll see that you know, you got? Yeah, well, hopefully we could get Trey Palma back.
Uh, I don't know if he will be back this week.
Well, you know, we have a lot of receivers that could go out there.
You know, Caixin Booty is a good young receiver and get out their core more.
Another receiver, John Trey Kirkland, another receiver who can put out there. So we have a lot of choices.
And I don't know if you saw yesterday I'm wondering just your thoughts after Joe Burrows injury.
I mean, what you saw? Yeah.
Yeah, it was tough.
It was tough to watch.
We all watched it.
We felt bad for And Joseph, competitors texting today I know he's gonna be back.
I know his attitude.
He's probably working out today, getting on the next season.
I thought he was having, you know, maybe Rookie of the Year season.
We're very proud of him. We followed Joe.
We follow everything he does like we do all the players in the NFL.
Coach I since it is Thanksgiving, I was wondering what you're most thankful for.
And maybe a side dish or thio.
Well, both thankful for my family and thankful for being the head coach of Louisiana State University.
That has been a blessing in my life.
And there's no question that oyster dressing is my favorite for Thanksgiving.
Like a future for him.
Way still, we still haven't made a decision.
Uh, it doesn't look like he's gonna play.
We still haven't made a decision on operation.
If it's best to do it now, Jack is handling that with his parents and the doctors, and it's just not clear cut right now, so there's still probably status school, but he's definitely not playing this week.
Thank you. Touch.
They got go. Tigers.
Coaching does Ur****.
