Set up where this is in the back.
Hold on, hold on.
Oh, yeah. Here we go.
Can you see that? Can you see that right there.
1212 America's team returns.
Big road win season back on now.
Right here. Right here. Right here.
Wanna angle this a little bit? This way? Yeah.
All right, all right, all right, all right, all right.
Yo, I'm pumped today.
Why am I pump today? There's only one reason why would be punk today.
There's only one reason while I would be punk today we won, We won, We won, We won, We won! And it's a victory Monday it is Ah, glorious day The sun is shining And the season is back on Now I am someone that told you This is America's team Big disaster season over America's team Toe laugh at is what I was calling the Dallas Cowboys.
But now the joke is on America.
You know why the joke is on you? Because the cowboys play in the worst division in the NFL, which is going to enable us to potentially when the worst division in the NFL and go to the playoffs and still have a top 10 pick. Potentially.
Hold on, hold on.
Let me let me let me come right in here and start this a certain type of way now, okay? Uh, no, I wanna be more this way because I'm there It is, All right.
I think I'm the set up shop right here because I want you to see the backdrop.
Uh, seeing me is not as important, but all right.
Here, let's do it.
This is how about him Monday morning. Recap.
Morning, Quarterback Monday morning.
Victory Monday, Pa.
Hooray! Yeah, the Cowboys one.
The Dallas Cowboys come in as seven point dogs.
Seven point underdogs Yesterday the Cowboys come in on the road against a Minnesota team that was coming off big wins.
A Minnesota team that I was afraid of that I was worried about that.
I wasn't sure if the Cowboys would be able to handle coming off a bye.
I am Mawr of a pessimistic Dallas Cowboys fan.
I am Mawr of a realistic Dallas Cowboys fan whereas I don't get my hopes up, whereas I don't I don't buy any of the stuff that the Cowboys fans sell the Cowboys journalists cell.
And by the way, if you're watching this and you're following me on SportsCastr, you should follow me on Twitter.
My name's Keith McPherson On Twitter, I have a list called Cowboys Twitter with a bunch of journalists, a bunch of reporters, writers, podcast people.
There's 28 members, but it's growing.
It's a Cowboys Twitter list where it gives you a good sense of what's going on in Cowboys landing Cowboys World.
And the Cowboys just won their first road game.
Yeah, first road win in the books third win of the season.
Yeah, yeah, first win without Dak.
Yeah, first, when where Ezekiel Elliott rushes for over 100 yards, Ik answered the call.
Zeke answered the call.
Jerry Jones came out and said, Zika is the best player on this team, and he played like it this week, so props to him for getting it done.
Tony Pollard also get.
I got it done before we get into that before we get into the stats and the numbers.
You know, stats and numbers I was afraid of Dalvin cook.
I thought Dalvin cook was gonna come in here and, uh, you know, be comfortable at home.
Rushed for 200 yards, Two touchdowns? No, sir, not today.
But this was the key.
I'm telling you.
The key to the Cowboys winning the key to the Cowboys winning the key to the Cowboys Winning was that the Cowboys did not wear the blue shirt yesterday.
Ladies and gentlemen, clap it up for that way.
Got a tip from Go blue.
He must have felt that the Cowboys did not win their blue or did not wear their blue jerseys.
They do not win in those blue jerseys if you check my Twitter.
The first tweet I sent out for the game, I said, Cowboys wearing white jerseys on the road That gives us a level of swag that just gives us an almond.
Where I knew right there we had a chance if we were If we were going to come out in those blue, uh, jerseys with star on the side and, you know, white numbers, we lose in those jerseys.
So as soon as I saw we had the white jerseys on and the Vikings decided to go with their pump up purple.
Something like that.
Their color rush jerseys.
The Vikings decided to go with their their alternative jerseys.
I'm like, Okay, so we have a chance.
We did exactly what we're supposed to do.
We came out from start to finish and played a full game.
Now, there was some people that we're worried and myself included about the changes we were making with the offensive line.
And, uh I mean, honestly, like, I think we all had a right to be a little nervous there.
I think we all kind of understood that.
Hey, um you know, there we go.
Better camera angle.
I think we all kind of understood that.
Hey, uh, this offensive line has been brutally bad.
They've been banged up.
Some guys air on the I r.
Some guys air coming back off the i r.
This is not the offense that we planned on playing with, but they got it done.
They blocked like this.
This line works.
Okay, this line works.
Leave Connor McGovern at right guard.
Leave Zach Martin at right tackle.
Zach Martin is the best player on this line.
So I guess it would be most important for him to play right tackle and be next to the guy that's playing his position, helping him out, telling him you know what to look for, what to do.
Big shout out to the offensive line.
Zeke rushed for over 100 yards, and now I want to get into some stats from the game yesterday.
So this line blocked.
Did what they had to do.
Ezekiel Elliott had 21 carries for 103 yards.
No touchdown but no touchdowns, but he had a long run of 18.
And speaking of long runs, ah, 42 yard touchdown run from my guy TP playmaker.
Yeah, play made made a hell of a play.
He had five carries for 60 yards, one touchdown averaging 12 yards per carry.
I think Tony Tony Pollard's probably one of the highest yards per carry guys in the league CD also had a couple rush is a big one on on 1/4 and one that we needed got it done.
I love the play calling.
I have to shout out Kellen Moore.
Kellen Moore gets a lot of heat gets a lot of slack, but I got to shout that guy out for excellent game that he called yesterday, Man.
Were clapping it up all around his victory Monday.
That was a win that we needed, because now we have an opportunity to potentially get back to back wins in this weird season.
But let's look at the stats a little more before we go into it.
Andy Dalton, Andy Andy Dalton deserves a round table.
Andy Dalton, Andy Dalton.
This is what you pay the guy for.
This is why you even bring Andy Dalton here.
Andy Dalton had to beat co vid protocols, and then he had to beat concussion protocols before that guy comes out and he's efficient.
He's 22 of 30 to 10 in completions, but he completed a pass to nine different receivers.
Let's count 1234567898 different receivers, but nine.
If you include himself, there would be nine.
If you include the one include the one catch he had for three yards that came back to him.
But Amari Cooper Wow, can't guard Coop.
That's, you know like you know Michael Thomas's Can't guard Mike.
How about can't guard Coop because this guy was having his way with the young DBS over in Minnesota running routes.
It was it was no contest.
Like Amari, Cooper is such a good route runner.
When he plays against the inexperienced corners, he makes him look foolish.
It was too easy.
He had six catches for 81 yards.
CD, Lamb, four catches for 34.
But that one touchdown.
Let's talk a ridiculous.
This guy is turning his body man to catch this ball.
Ridiculous Catch CD Lamb is the steal of the draft.
If anybody asks what the steal of the draft was the Cowboys selecting CD lamb at at 17.
Overall, you're bugging out how they let that happen.
How did the league let us get this weapon like the league is so lucky? Duck isn't playing right now.
Michael Gallup to catches.
Uh, Dalton Schultz.
Four catches in a big touchdown late Ezekiel Elliott to catches one touchdown.
Man, you love to see a You love to see it.
Now let's look at the team stats on offense.
We won this game having the same amount of first downs as the Vikings.
We only had three more total plays in them.
They have more total yards than us.
They had 430 yards.
Didn't matter, Didn't matter and a game that came down Thio.
Three point win for the Cowboys.
It should be close like this.
And that's why I'm reading these teams stats.
You should know we ran the ball better than them by 55 yards.
They beat us, passing the ball through the air.
Gotta give props to Adam dealing.
Adam feeling had a sick catch.
One handed catch.
Also bald on his, too.
But we held Dalvin Cook, man.
I mean, he did have 115 yards and one touchdown, but that's half of what he usually does, right? I was worried about him putting up to 30 and two touchdowns.
1 Touchdown. We kept him contained.
The defense man.
I gotta give props is defense.
Gotta get process.
Defense and one Donovan Wilson.
Now shout out to Donovan Wilson.
He had ah hell of a game and I think this was like his coming out party.
I think this was his time to shine.
I think this was, uh, like his moment for people to really see him, because there's no way you watched that game yesterday and you didn't see Donovan Wilson.
This guy, number 37.
He's waited for his opportunity.
Uh, this guy just makes plays.
He's a guy that hung around in Dallas for the last few years, worked hard, waited for his time, and now it's his time.
He's hard to miss.
Everybody sees him.
Like I said, he had nine tackles yesterday.
He had half a sack yesterday.
He had two forced fumbles yesterday, one on Donovan, one on Dalvin Cook by Donovan Wilson.
And then the other was the strip of Kirk Cousins, who baby stripped Kirk cousins.
We had a coach's challenge on that because it happened so fast they weren't sure.
Strip of Kirk Cousins, successful coaches challenged by Mark Mike McCarthy.
Dallas gets the ball inside the 30 very early in this game, not even five minutes into this game, Ball goes to C D.
Next, the ball goes to Zeke touched down.
It's seven old early and everybody starting to believe again.
Everybody starting to feel like, Okay, this team is not running out there with Garrett Gilbert.
This team is not running out there with Ben DeNucci.
This team is led by Andy Dalton.
Ah, veteran, ah, guy that can sling it and that has done it.
And he does, man.
Like I said, rookie CD Lamb made sure that that other rookie Justin Jefferson new yo, you're not the best rookie out of this wide receiver class.
This wide receiver class was stacked Henry rugs.
Jerry Judy, CD Lamb.
There's, ah, guys like, um, Chase Claypool, Michael Pittman Jr.
Who are making noise elsewhere.
Stacked receiver, class.
But see the lamb is the cream of the crop.
Best receiver in the class.
Where's number 88 doing the 88 club? Proud.
Somewhere Dez is smiling.
I know somewhere Michael Irvin and Drew Pearson were smiling as well.
He's something that Cowboys fans could be proud of from April to August 2.
Now can't say enough about CD.
Who else already talked about Amari? Cooper said.
It was easy for this guy.
He's running routes.
These guys can't cover him these guys can't cover them.
Let's talk defense a little bit because, honestly, I thought this defense thes defense finally did what we needed them to do, which was bend and don't always all the way.
So if you look, the defense held them to seven points in the first half.
Listen, we were giving up 20 points in the first half to our first six opponents.
You can't win games in the NFL like that.
You can't if you're down.
If you're down that much, you just can't win.
And without Dak, there's no way you could win.
So it was a bend but don't break type of game.
And the most points that the Vikings scored in a quarter was 14 in the fourth quarter.
How many points did the Dallas Cowboys score in the fourth quarter? One more than that? 15 Bend. But don't break.
But then offense close out, closed the game.
The offense closed out and closed the game.
You gotta love that.
I absolutely loved it.
Um, yeah, anyway, adjusting my camera bit here.
So anyway, let's look at what I want to look at with these teams stats.
So total yards total drives.
No, it's not what I wanted to look at.
I wanna look at. Okay.
Hey, the Vikings lost two fumbles.
We only lost the ball with one interception.
Uh, swings the game, right? Just that.
Seven points in the beginning, coming off the coach's challenge coming off of the strip of Kirk Cousins reviewing it.
He was not down.
Donovan Wilson gets the ball.
Little things like that is what changed the game and could win a game because they beat us in time of possession.
Um, another important.
Another important Staten Thio mentioned here, Right? We talked about then.
But don't break.
We talked about them out rushing us.
We talked about them out or them out, passing us, not out rushing us, right? We talked about, uh, turnovers.
Here's the major key.
The major key here is that we had four penalties for 30 yards.
They had eight penalties for 80 yards.
That's big right there.
Penalties can kill you.
Penalties are the difference.
In a three point game, they had four more penalties than us for 50 more yards than us.
All right now I want to go back and look at not the team stats, but look at individuals, Right? Kirk Cousins played a hell of a game.
Kirk Cousins was 22 of 30 for 314 yards, three touchdowns, No interceptions had that one fumble, but no interceptions.
Dalvin Cook is another one.
Played a hell of a game.
27 carries, 115 yards and a touchdown.
Adam feeling bald out of control.
Eight catches, 123 yards.
Come on, he bawled out.
So what hurt him was those fumbles? Kirk Cousins.
Dalvin, Cook. Tough.
Now let's look at defensively.
Who was really out there making noise? Who was really out there shaking it up? Already spoke on Donovan Wilson is nine tackles is half a sack, his two forced fumbles.
DaMarcus Lords also recovered.
One of those, DeMarcus Lawrence, had four total tackles, one solo, a half sack and a tackle for loss.
Two Q B hits late in Vanda Reche.
Oh, that's my best wolf hunter impression.
Latent Van Daresh, 12 tackles for Solo.
My guy was out there hunting them down.
Cheeto Bayo woozy.
Welcome back Brother is good to have you.
He had nine total tackles, five solo and a half tackle for loss.
We know that you're aided by late and Vander Irish, but you did what you had to do.
Seven total tackles.
Three solo, one sack and who else had a sack? No one else had a sack.
Three total tackles.
Solo Holding it down, doing his job.
And I'm just proud of these guys.
Honestly, this defense has come so far.
This defense was what was killing us in the beginning of this game.
I said, we got no defense, but the defense came through and held it down at the end.
And, you know, it's something to improve on.
We didn't even have to kick too many field goals, right? Zach, Greg, Greg Zuerlein was one for one, and we didn't need a much I am. I am.
I'm pumped for this team because if you look at this team in this schedule, right and this is what I'll say before we move on and talk about the rest of the league, it's a victory Monday.
This is a victory Monday pod.
This is a victory Monday. Livestream.
The Cowboys deserve our attention.
They deserve our respect.
They reserve our time talking about them.
Now let's talk about the schedule coming up Thursday, right back at it, Thanksgiving as tradition.
The Dallas Cowboys will face the Washington football team in front of the whole world.
I will be out of town.
I won't be here.
Usually, I'll do a Thursday show.
Maybe I'll do it Wednesday.
Yeah, I'll do a Wednesday kickoff show.
Um, I won't be here Thursday.
I'll be out of town for vacation.
What? That is a winnable game.
The Cowboys should win that game.
I'm gonna say it again.
The Cowboys should win that game if they're not frauds, if the season is back on when that game on Thanksgiving in front of the whole world at Jerry World, so that we could have a good Thanksgiving.
So we don't have to be sick.
So we have to be throwing up, so we don't have to be disgusted.
So we don't have to be telling our family, Yeah, next year when that comes back, when this game win the game, it's It's the Washington football team, right? We play them at 4 30 on Thursday.
The Washington football team.
They're coming off a win against Joe Burrow in the Bangles, 22 9.
They won this game.
It would have been closer if Joe didn't get hurt.
Win the game We win.
This game will be, um, three and three at home will be four and seven.
We'll be looking at this division right As it currently stands, the division is led by the Eagles at 36 and one, and I'm telling you right now, the Eagles air done.
There's trouble in paradise.
You pay them all this money.
He sucks. He's not that good.
You throws the ball up and gives it up, and you guys don't have a shot.
So at 36 and one, I'm not looking at the Eagles as a threat, and we have a date with the Eagles coming riel soon.
Well, not really soon, but it's on the schedule and it's at Jerry World. We should win that game.
Underneath the Philadelphia Eagles is the New York football Midgets there three and seven.
We already got one win against them, and our last game off this season will be against the Giants.
I can't wait for that.
I can't wait for that.
If you listen to this podcast podcast, I tell y'all, every time I live about 15 minutes from MetLife Stadium, I'm in giant Territory.
As a Cowboys fan, I've been and Giants territory as a Cowboys fan my whole life.
I can't wait because these thes Giants fans things they got, you know, a little chance They think their squad isn't throw that away.
Cowboys have more talent.
Andy Dalton is gonna get his reps.
Andy Dalton is going to get better with these receivers in this team and were lurking right.
So after we beat the Washington football team on Thanksgiving, they'll be out of the discussion and we'll be looking at Philadelphia.
We play Philadelphia on December 27th.
So the weekend of Christmas, what a blast that should be.
And then the week after right after New Year's, we play the Giants.
So it's all in front of us.
This season is back on.
America's team returns.
Can they do it? Can they do it? Because the way it currently stands now I want to go to the standings the way the wig.
It's currently set up.
There is a world where the Dallas Cowboys can sneak into the playoffs this year, host a home playoff game and potentially still have a top 10 pick, maybe 10 to 15.
I'm not sure, but we're that bad in the current standings, right for the whole league.
The Dallas Cowboys are right now, the 123456 pick.
And I think there's a world where we can win this division and have, like the 10th or 11th pick.
I think that's that's potentially doable, Which works for us because I'm tired of the Justin Fields talk.
On my last podcast, my last stream.
I said to you all if you didn't watch Justin Field, Justin Fields play against Indiana, you should.
He played his worst game against probably the best competition he played this year.
That kid is not ready to step in next year for the Dallas Cowboys and lead us to victory.
Doc is the guy that is the guy that is the guy. Doc is the guy.
Do not draft a quarterback that high.
If anything, we should trade back trade to pick.
Or if we're coming in around 10 or 11, take the best defensive player off the board.
It's coming soon.
Y'all wait for it.
Y'all weight on it.
I'm telling you, it's coming soon.
We will know soon in the next couple of weeks.
This season went from Tank a thon.
If you watch my last stream yesterday on Sunday, I'm like, Here's what we need to be rooting for in the tank a thon, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
Now it's like this.
It's like, Hey, we're gonna get a high pick anyway because we've already lost seven games and stand toe lose, Let's say another two.
Right, We've got the We've got the Ravens on the schedule.
I think that's lost.
But actually, right now, now we can't even say that right, because the Ravens just lost to the Titans and they have some losses on their record.
Where it's like you don't know how that's gonna go.
It'll be Thursday Night Football after we play.
The Washington football team will follow it up that next Thursday against the Ravens, where hey, if our defense can step up and stop that run, Lamar Jackson's not scaring anybody anymore.
He's not running over everybody like he was last year.
Then we have the Bengals who don't have Joe Burrow.
That's another win.
So even if we do lose to the Ravens, where three and seven now, we could go four and seven against the Washington football team, let's say we go for and eight against the Ravens.
We go to five and eight after beating the Bengals, we have the 40 Niners at home that we should beat to.
That should be six and eight.
Then we have the Eagles and Giants, where we could go eight and eight.
We go 88 when the the lame, NFC least and still get a top 15 pick.
I can see it right now, and that's what I'm on.
I'm not talking anymore Tank talk.
I'm not talking any more.
Draft picks go out with the intention of winning.
Let's see, there's six games go out with the intention of winning four of these next six games.
If we win for these next six games, we could be sitting at five of these next six games. Excuse me.
12345 The only team we should lose to on that schedule or potentially lose to maybe not even lose two is the Ravens and Jaylin.
Smith came out and said, This team is streaky.
This team has gone on streaks before.
This team could rip off Ah, winning streak.
Say we win the next six in a row, getting ahead of ourselves.
The Ravens were still really good team.
I think we lose to the Ravens.
But if we beat the rest of the teams on our schedule, besides the Ravens, who aren't that great, we could sneak into the playoffs at eight and eight, and, uh, we sneak into the playoffs and ate and ate and still have a topic that is a sal***e season for us, that is, a win is a win is a win is a win.
Who else did I not shout out? You know, shouted at the offensive line, told Tony Pollard, uh, the defense of line, our linebackers late and Van Daresh, Kellen Moore for the play calling.
We saw some new things that we haven't seen, just, you know, mixing it up, keeping guys off guard, I said, Can't guard Coop, Um, Ari Cooper, bald out, you know, they just couldn't cover him.
And that's all I think I've got for the Cowboys.
Let's quickly look at these scores from across the league and let's look at my pics and where I was wrong. You know me.
I'll give you my picks. I give you my takes.
I think I'm done betting this year.
Uh, it's just too hard to call, but we'll look at my pics and we'll look at Well, you know where I went wrong. Let's see.
You know where I was right where I went wrong, where I'm you know, tight about it in fantasy I need.
And I'm putting this into the ether because I feel like if you speak on it, you'll get it.
I need Chris Godwin to stay under 19 points.
If he scores 18 points tonight, I win.
If he scores 19.
6, I lose everybody.
Root for the Rams defense.
Root for Tom Brady did not throw the ball to Chris Godwin.
Throw it to Mike Evans.
Throw it Antonio Brown.
But not Chris Godwin.
And your boy will be moving on.
Uh, let's look at the scores right the first game.
Hey, Eagles, uh, knew the Eagles.
We're gonna blow that.
Cleveland was minus three.
There they won by five.
Thanks, Carson Wentz, walk into him.
Went walking the ball right to the other team.
I thought there was a chance.
I thought there was a chance, but I still took New Orleans.
Um, I still took New Orleans minus four, and they came through.
They won by a bunch, 24 9.
The Washington football team versus the Bengals.
I took the Bengals in some places, but I think I took you.
I took Washington.
Yes, I took them.
They won by 11 Panthers and the Lions.
Now that that spread was even.
And then when they named P.
Walker as a starter and not Teddy Bridgewater, it went in favor of Detroit.
Detroit was, I think, Detroit was plus one.
And no, Detroit was minus 2.
5, and I knew P.
Walker is from Elizabeth, New Jersey If you watch the XFL last year, he bawled out.
He wasn't bad at all, and he's finally getting his chance to start.
And in his first start, he gets the win.
And in his first started Bald.
I was right there.
I knew once it once it switch like that, I'm like Carolina at home.
The Lions just aren't good.
The lions aren't good.
So, like never bet the Lions.
So I was right there.
Look at me right now.
Three for three Steelers all day.
Knew they were going to cover 27 threes.
And even we're talking about that.
I took the Titans.
Yes, it's crazy.
I took all these bets, but I didn't the ones that blew my parlays or the ones that I didn't have.
I like Tennessee.
I said New center for Lamar A. J.
Brown will eat a J.
Brown had a beast touchdown.
He didn't eat like he should eat, but he got his points off that one touchdown where he forced his way in.
If I would have just taken these 123456 games and putting them in a parlay.
Now what happened to me was I was on here doing shows.
I didn't in time get on my bets in, right.
Whatever eso I missed on some the Patriots, the Patriots or what blew my parlays.
I thought the Patriots were a lock.
The Patriots go out and lose by seven.
The Patriots were favored to win by to know what a waste after they beat the Ravens and they beat the Jets Like Man, These guys, I don't know what to think about the Patriots anymore.
They don't even deserve to go to the playoffs.
The Broncos there was the upset I took Denver.
No, in my notes, I have Denver plus 3.5.
No, I didn't take him.
Wow! Hi gets Thio two ends up getting benched.
He had nothing going on.
You know what? I knew that this was gonna happen and I should have thought about it to A came out and said that the NFL was easy or easier than expected.
And whenever you come out and say anything like that, it's a It's a red flag and it's kind of bulletin board material for whoever you play next, like oh, it's easy out here.
Do you think this is college? No.
He ends up on the bench.
He should have never said that like ridiculous.
The Chargers don't cover and I took them not to cover.
I'm like that Spread is too high.
That spread is too high.
That spread is too high.
That spread is too high.
The Packers let me down Packers.
5. They end up losing by three.
That colts actually are kind of decent.
Michael Pittman Junior gives Philip Rivers another option.
I know Jacoby Brissett was in a little bit, but the Colts, at seven and three in the top of their division, look out for them.
And then I also had the Chiefs covering against the Raiders.
I thought it was gonna be a revenge game, and I thought they were gonna blow them out.
They ended up winning, but they only win by four.
So hey, all in all, I had a decent week picking the games.
But my parleys got screwed by the Dolphins.
They got screwed by the Packers, and they got screwed by the Patriots.
So it is what it is. Man.
I'll say this and I'll close with this.
We're already at week 12.
So fantasy is wrapping up and your your real life team season is wrapping up whether you're in or you're out.
There is three wild cards this year, so somebody is gonna get in.
That wouldn't be in on a regular year, and it's all gonna come down to the way these last six weeks shake out.
And, man, it's gonna be interesting if for Cowboys fans, Dallas fans that are listening to this show and have been listening all season.
You know, it's been a roller coaster.
You know, there's been times where it's like, Man, let's let's just look at the draft and pack it up.
But look where we are now.
We're not looking at the draft necessarily right now, we know we're going to get a higher pick than we had last year.
We're gonna get a higher pick.
We're gonna have a chance to improve this team, most likely on the defensive side or with an offensive lineman.
We'll see on den.
We can sneak into the playoffs and potentially host the playoff game this year in Jerry World, despite everything, so that's got to be the goal.
Winning this trash division is is still the goal.
It's still out there for us.
Let's get it, man shouted, just showing Watson had a huge week.
I saw Darren Waller and Tyreke Evans or Tyreek Hill.
Tyreke Evans. It's basketball.
Tyreek Hill have big weeks.
And, uh, man, I needed that.
They're both on my fantasy team, so good, good, good, good, good.
That's all I've got for you.
Uh, what you should do is go up there.
Go up there. Go up there. Go up there.
